    Description: "Just as the waves wash over the coast and steal what's there, wearing away at the sand."

    Waverider Magic was created by Shiva to emulate the effects that water has on the coastline. After watching it for days or emerging herself in the sea for hours on end, she decided that there was no type of power more apt for her personality than that of the waves. Calm and collected but with a capacity to become furious and thundering, they suit her perfectly. Waverider Magic imitates the way water washes over everything in its path. Inescapable except by fleeing so far that its range cannot consume the target, this type of magic is ravenous.

    Shiva uses it whenever she desires. The primary target of Waverider Magic could be anyone who bothers her. At the same time, her powers are not dark or malignant in nature. They are decidedly neutral, but often chaotic and unstoppable. Shiva will not bow her head to those who wish for her subservience. Neither will her magic. However, the effects of her powers are not concussive in nature and will never unfailingly or irrationally deal damage and spread destruction. Much of her power affects allies in a positive manner, and Shiva will never deliberately use magic that will harm those around her who are not her enemies. Though this magic may have a comparatively fewer summons, they each take a lot more out of the summoner to bring to the battlefield as opposed to the regular, caster-style bond spells.

    As a plot ability, Shiva is able to revive allies when they hit 0 HP as long as OOC permission of everyone else involved in the thread is acquired. This is contingent on the sacrifice of either an enemy or an ally, whether a character or NPC. This plot ability cannot be used in event threads, or stat PvP threads.

    All conditions as specified in the Magic Rules naturally apply to all of Shiva’s magic, abilities, and spells, unless explicitly stated otherwise in her lineage or in the applicable ability/spell itself. This means debuff rules apply to debuffs, effect rules apply to effects, buffs don’t stack, immobilizations can only happen once per post and every other post, etc.

    Unique Abilities: 3 S Rank Abilities, 2 Effects Each = 6 Total UA Effects

    • Abyssal Predator: Increased senses, especially auditory and physical sensations. Further adaptation to extreme climates, in particular the cold. Shiva may feel coolness, but her internal regulation and bodily systems will never be affected by low temperatures alone. As a result of her predatory instincts, Shiva gains certain magical advantages. She has the ability to appropriate any magic of her summons in order to cast it as her own, without actually summoning the related being (activating the summon in this fashion, even though they are not present, still counts towards the summoning cap). Shiva does not gain any of the summon's melee damage, HP, speed, or range (only access to their abilities) and the summon cannot be summoned during this time. Passive +60% MP. As a plot ability, she can teleport freely and without any boundaries on range or location (requires OOC permission for use on other player controlled NPCs or characters or in PvP threads). All conditions as specified in the Magic Rules naturally apply.

    • Tide Caller: Shiva has the power to control water and use it, plot-wise, as an extension of herself. It can be shaped or formed into various objects. However, water created and manipulated by this ability does not deal nor absorb any damage without OOC permission. Nor does it have a combat usage outside of plot. Thanks to her sovereignty over the waves, she has certain magical benefits which she can activate at will. One of Shiva's summons currently on the field can cast one of her spells (Shiva cannot use this spell as long as it’s active) as long as it is of an equal or lower rank than itself, essentially acting as an origin point for that spell similarly to bond magic. A summon can only cast one spell at a time in this way; in order to cast another, the first must have ended. Passive +60% MP. All conditions as specified in the Magic Rules naturally apply.

    • Siren Song: A penchant for getting along with animals. Shiva has an instinctual understanding of how animals think and what they desire, if anything. She cannot directly communicate through language with all animals. However, those of an aquatic or aerial nature who have a spoken form of talking can be understood and addressed in their form of transmission. In addition, by imparting upon a creature her siren song, Shiva can bless a wild animal and then free it to find its natural home. This will result in its ensured ability to find food, water, and shelter until reaching a wild habitat where it can live safely. If no such habitat exists, this blessing will last indefinitely. In order to protect these animals and as a result of her usage of siren song, Shiva has acquired certain abilities for use in combat or other situations. Passive +60% MP and 5% MP regen per post. All conditions as specified in the Magic Rules naturally apply.
