A request has recently reached Meliora Vitae seeking assistance with a matter of environmental concern. A small village reports that they have been suffering lately from attacks by local wildlife. However, the attacks themselves are not the villagers' main concern. While they have been doing what they must to protect themselves, they hesitate to take extreme measures as the attacks have been coming from a know species of boars indigenous to their area that is currently on a steady slope toward extinction. In the past, the villagers have always done what they could to foster the boars from afar, but the recent rise in aggression has made the task difficult.
They believe the boars have become more aggressive due to a recent fire that burned down a large portion of the nearby forest that served as a home and source of food for the boars and many other wild life in the area. The damage from the fire was immense, and the villagers are afraid that they will be forced to kill what little is left of the species in self defense before the forest grows back enough to be suitable habitat again. They are seeking assistance from any mage that can help not only speed up this process, but also take educated liberties in restructuring the area in any ways that could serve to protect the endangered boars in the future.
