    RAVE WAVE! {Event} Rave3-copy

WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?

“A large group of people is what I call a ‘no thanks’.  Yet here we are, two wallflowers and a social butterfly later, going in the direction of the aforementioned ‘no thanks’, just to do what?” came a dramatic, ungrateful tone, “Suffer?”

It was not then merely a starless night; it was alive with the promise of fun. Paving the way to glowstick paradise was an outdoor rave; a spectral kingdom of flashing lights, bobbing heads, and distorted music; for the night owls had long before its opening anticipated the great wave, where the beat would drop faster than the tablets Vera was pumping into her mouth. With an inhaler she deconstructed and reconstructed much prior to the gathering, it did most anything other than actually relieve symptoms of asthma. It pushed a little happiness into the lungs of her life, this little thing called ecstasy. It was all in the name.

The people around her, looking much like spaceless clumps, had a burst of energy as the music played thus, that unnerved her enough to down her batch, and seemed to her both an unwise and brilliant move. Her broad, pink lips smiled and then frowned; her half-lidded and jellyfish eyes became anxious, at times, blanketed by thoughts of paranoia, like her friends inquiring as to her new so-called condition. A dust mage doubling as a seemingly noble cop with respiratory issues? It was a flawed concept, and she bristled at the thought of them suspecting her, so she readily concocted a tale of woe, a story with all the worth of manure; only if they pried too deeply into the matter. Like, how she only recently discovered her onset of adult asthma and most likely had to obtain a waiver in order to continue her services.

Fibbing was like a mirror under the breath; obvious to the most observant and to her like a game of Russian roulette. She would cast a towelette over it to conceal the truth if so cornered by suspicion. Meanwhile, her self-imposed smile and her gaze were upon the defensive as she tried to ease into the awkward head bobbing and arm waving. Oh, but twenty minutes was all she needed to find the bright side in everything, maybe even forget her worries. Even her hands wanted to be on everything too, for they were already aggressively fixed upon her blue jacket. She peeled away the article with all the grace of a wild boar in heat and merrily draped it over her unfortunate neighbor’s head. Vera was atypically affectionate and disturbingly touchy, saving herself a spot between Cillian and Dela, with her arms linked about their waists. Before she could do something akin to outrageously motorboating her friends for no reason other than being higher than a kite, something caught her eye and more.

    No.

She wasn’t higher than a kite.

    She was the kite.

Faster than a gliding squirrel, she released their waists from her hold and pushed them over to where they had access to drinks, drums, and a nearby DJ booth. Vera wasn’t the only one looking like she got sucker-punched by a rainbow as implied by her choice of top and puffy cloud-like shorts.  There were folks playing the drums and getting splashed with every kind of colored paint. It was a fascinating watch. “Is it hot out here,” she said, fanning herself suddenly, “or is it just me?” Vera, not in her right mind, was all too happy with the idea of undoing her top, which was what she started doing before someone threw a jacket over her head. It had been the one she abandoned seconds ago!

“So, whose bright idea was it to turn off the moon?” she mumbled. “I’m blind.”

Post by Dela 27th July 2020, 3:44 am

"Sometimes we suffer for the social constructs of friendship," Dela replied with her occasionally twangy, always cynical drawl. She shuffled along beside Vera, predictably seeming sapped of energy just by moving, though in this case, it was more of a put-on than usual. The blonde was actually pretty excited. The bright colors and thumping music, the crisp but warm night air keeping each breath fresh, unlike the stuffiness this sort of environment would take on under a roof, the graffiti, and general "illegal" vibe all were thrilling for the girl who had had little choice than to be by-the-book these days.

Best part was, it was legal. She could blow off some steam without worrying about her job, her coworkers, and the magic council, not that she ever worried too much. If she was the stickler that the Rune Knights probably wanted her to be, she wouldn't be hanging out with the drugged-up woman and coworker at her side and the tall, pointlessly abed buffoon wandering somewhere off on the other side of the violet head. Yes, she knew Vera was three sheets to the wind. Adult asthma her very nearly exposed buttcheeks. It was Dela's schtick to know things, but it was also in her nature to ignore and pretend she didn't know things that wouldn't benefit her. In general, Dela bent the rules sometimes when needed, Vera was...Vera, and Cillian surely was off doing shady things she didn't want to know about. Perhaps it was this rebellious undertone that had bound them as unlikely buddies. She pretended she didn't know things and secretly loved her friends.

Another well-kept secret of Dela's many other secrets was that she also loved singing and dancing. Yes, both of those took effort. It's why she wasn't and had never tried to be a pop star, but it didn't mean she hadn't entertained the daydream. Both of those skills were often displayed in the privacy of her own room when she felt like it. Even more rarely, they had been used in an undercover job, but she'd been alone then too. Generally, she operated better alone, but these two ding dongs had grown on her like moss on a stationary boulder. Moss usually didn't make rocks move, though. She'd probably be at least dancing tonight, you know, "against her will".

Snatching more glowsticks than probably acceptable from some passing girl with a box of them, she shook off Vera's jacket from her head and divvied them between the three of them. The way they reflected in Vera's eyes was a little worrisome, but she'd not comment on something "she had no idea about". The arm around her waist steered her to the bar, which was convenient. A scene like this did seem wrong without a few beverages. The vendor there took one look at her and nodded, mixing up something for her. Shortly a rainbow drink was slid toward her, cyan ice bobbing at the top. The rainbow looked funny with a streak of lavender through it, but it was still pretty enough. She sipped up the licorice flavor, thankful for the surprise of mint that cut through the sickly sweet. Turning to glance at her female companion, she was shocked to see that Vera was about to flash them all, but it was thwarted. Too bad. It'd be nice to have a girl with no care for modesty around for a change, but alas, maybe later. "Oh, Vera," she sighed with a grin, pulling the returned jacket off her head and abandoning it once more on a random stool. "The moon isn't gone, you're not blind, and it's summer...of course you're hot. Everyone is hot. Get a cold drink," she said while, unbeknownst to her, her blonde locks streaking in all the brilliant colors of the visible spectrum.

The beats of the nearby paint drums were starting to get to her. Maybe it was the drink that caused what happened next. Not only did she start tapping a foot and bobbing her head, suddenly she was doing a perfectly executed twirl and stopping with her smooshy booty rhythmically bumping up against Vera's hip. "Hurry and get a drink, we need to dance!"

Not only was Cillian excited about this little outing, he wasn’t afraid to show it either. A lot of times, the tall, lanky man came off as a bit laissez-faire about many things, but the truth was that he loved people and parties. Hell, the only reason he’d been a little grumpy at the start of the ball Dela had mostly dragged him to with the Rune Knights was just because it was a formal affair, which wasn’t entirely his thing, and even then he had greatly enjoyed himself. This atmosphere was completely different, however. It was much more casual and focused entirely on just letting loose and having a good time with the two sassy and spirited ladies that had, for whatever reason, decided to keep sticking around him. Cillian had had a number of friends over the four hundred year course of his life, but he really hadn’t ever gotten very attached to any of them, nor stuck by them for terribly long. But for whatever reason, he found himself more and more drawn to both Vera and Dela, who had quickly seemed to become best friends and soulmates in their own right.

So now here they were. If Vera was high, Cillian didn’t really seem to notice -- in fact, if he had ever picked up on times in the past that she’d been high in some form, he’d never commented on it. It was entirely possible that he’d simply accepted that she was just a bit odd, and perhaps a little moody at times. She looked quite happy at the moment despite what her complaint suggested, one of her arms slung carelessly around his bare, slender waist as she walked between him and her blonde counterpart. And speaking of Dela, the other female Rune Knight was putting a little more effort than usual into seeming disinterested by her surroundings, as well. Again, not that Cillian really seemed to notice. He was a guy that always seemed to take things at face value, rarely ruffled or put off by most other people’s mannerisms, a man who often appeared to be cruising along at his own pace in his own little world where occasionally other people floated along with him.

“Aww, see? I knew you cared,” Cillian teased, tossing his large, lazy grin over Vera’s head at Dela. As was typical for Cillian, he was not wearing a shirt. Given the heat of the day, he’d also elected to forgo a jacket of any kind like he occasionally wore. This meant that the fullness of his lean, muscular chest and all eight of his abs were on full display. His bottom half was covered by a pair of rather tight looking jeans, worn so low on his hips it was a wonder that neither of the women he was present with were currently arresting him for public indecency. The tattoo from the guild he’d recently joined, Hidden Blades, was set upon his left side, just above his hip -- though it would be invisible to anyone that wasn’t a part of the same guild he was. A good thing, too, considering that the guild he’d joined recently was actually a dark guild, which meant that Vera and Dela both would probably have to arrest him at some point if they ever learned about it. Thankfully, Cillian was good with secrets and genuinely had little to hide from either lady, anyway. After all, Cillian really wasn’t involved in any of the really shady business outside of cleaning up afterward. It was an easy job that benefitted his employers and gave him more regular exposure to dead bodies for him to use his necromancy on.

The three of them walked along, Vera steering them toward what appeared to be the hub of activity, Dela almost in passing snatching an exaggerative number of glow sticks off a lady that was handing them out, and Cillian excitedly taking in the scene around them with his dark crimson gaze. His attention was pulled back to his companions, however, when Vera released her hold upon both of their bodies and practically scampered ahead, eyes wide and dilated like a cat that had just noticed the world around her after rolling around in a pile of catnip. There she stopped, lamenting about the heat and preceding to pull her shirt off. Or at least, trying to. Instead, her movement was halted by her jacket being tossed on top of her head, the same one she’d dumped on Dela’s head only moments ago. Cillian giggled a little as Dela removed the garment from the other woman’s violet locks, informing her supportively that she wasn’t blind, that the moon was in fact still in the sky, and impressing that she was hot because the weather was hot.

While Dela dealt with Vera, Cillian took the time to eagerly snap and shake the glow sticks the blonde had offered him, sparking them to life and light. By the time he was done, he had five in total, each a different color and sticking out from between the tops of his fingers like he was a woman all alone in a parking lot with her keys as ready make shift weapons. Rather than hurt anyone, of course, he was simply ready to start partying. And he wasn’t the only one. Any semblance of boredom Dela had been faking before was quickly gone the moment she had a drink in her hand, and she was already lightly bashing her hip against Vera’s in time with the beat. Cillian, too, wasted no time in dancing with them. Dela had learned not too long ago at the ball that Cillian was actually a pretty good dancer when he wanted to be, though right now it seemed he was content to just throw his arms and body around like a goofball, losing himself to the beat and having a good time without really caring how he looked.

He danced loosely like this for some time with them, laughing and exchanging similar hip bumps with the ladies, generally just being casual and silly with them. He was at the beginnings of a rather genuine thought about how nice it was that the three of them had finally found an environment where all three of them seemed quite happy and excited to be together, rather than just one or two of them dragging along the others, when the moment of self revelation was robbed from him by a distracting acknowledgement: one of the paint drums had just opened up, and an event worker was busy dousing the top of it with a few new squirts of glow in the dark paint.

“Oh, hell yes!” he exclaimed shoving the glow sticks in his pockets where they could be seen glowing through the denim of his pants. Almost before the event worker left, Cillian had already snatched up the available drumsticks and got to work beating in time with the music. It didn’t take long before a small crowd had gathered to watch and dance near him, even cheering him on a bit. He wasn’t necessarily that skilled at drums, so while he was generally on point with the beat as much as any other average person might be, his beat work was slightly off at points. No one really seemed to care. They loved his performance anyway. Perhaps they were all already healthily sloshed to the point where they didn’t care and were just happy to have a good time. Or perhaps, it had to do with something else entirely.

Cillian was quite oblivious to the effect his abs had on other people. He was also oblivious at how most of the people present around him in that moment were staring at his chest as it quickly became covered in bright paint, the thick liquid dripping slowly, sensually down the contours of his pectorals and the rigid valleys of his toned stomach. He swung his hips around as he played, the motion drawing all the more attention to the snugness of his pants and how well the showed off the V shaped contours of his body that almost seemed to guide the eye down to his hem line and what laid beyond. Mostly he kept his own gaze on the instrument or on encouraging the people around him to keep dancing, but every once in a while he would cast his eyes back at Vera and Dela, giving them a playful look or wagging his eyebrows at them as he purposefully made a bit of a fool of himself for a good laugh.
I figure that if I live long enough, something good might happen.

    RAVE WAVE! {Event} Empty Re: RAVE WAVE! {Event}

Post by Dela 13th August 2020, 8:08 am

Unexpectedly, the woman she was currently grinding her booty on exploded into a puff of dust, which to everyone else would be highly alarming, but Dela knew Vera's magic and while she was surprised, she wasn't worried. However, she didn't realize that the mini mushroom cloud her friend had bloomed into was chocked full of illicit substance, though in hindsight that would seem fitting given her Queen Kite status. The already tipsy girl was now inhaling and coughing on the dust like everyone else in the immediate area, but it soon subsided, leaving a very confident and uninhibited rainbow headed girl in its wake. Not that Dela wasn't already confident, but her already cracked resistance to showing the things she liked was obliterated.

Speaking of things she liked, Cillian was still around this time. Shirtless, which was growing more irresistible by the second, but before she'd had Vera to distract her. Now she was gone. Luckily for him, he managed to slip away and start on those paint drums before the dust's effects could really take hold of her, but that didn't mean she couldn't stand in the crowd and watch the glowing, viscous liquid splatter both himself, her, and all her fellow audience members. Was it her, or was this somehow very suggestive? Not really the drumming, but the dripping... All she could think was "Drip on me, daddy~" and she couldn't even deal. The lust was too much for her. Even if he was making a bit of a fool of himself, it didn't devalue the hills and valleys his muscles made or the happy trail down to his dangles, which had strangely captured her attention despite literally everything else going on. With her last shred of self-control, she caught his gaze and gave him a "I'll be back later" wink, moving herself out of his splatter range and into the dancing crowd.

It was time to get her mind off all that. A circle had formed not too far away, close enough to use the music Cillian was banging away to as a dancing beat and probably for him to see if he wanted to. Two girls, brightly colored and mirror images of themselves, stood at the center, jeering and taunting other dancers in search for someone who stood a chance against them. Rainbow Brite would normally abstain to keep her interests secret, but all bets were off tonight. "Hey! Tweedle dorks!" she called, entering the circle like people would know who she was, or like her burn was a sick one. It wasn't, but she didn't care. Her wits had taken a hit from the drinks and the inhaled ecstasy. The razor sharpness had been dulled considerably, but the sentiment stood. Dela intended to wipe the floor with these sassy sisters, and she proceeded to do so.

Those girls didn't know what hit them. This random, lone girl with nearly no modesty and clearly under the influence ignited like an Olympic torch. Every step was in perfect rhythm, each motion carefully considered even if it was impromptu. Sure, they had their matching thing and a cute routine mapped out, but Dela had been dancing for over one hundred years. Her style was unique in the way it borrowed from very old dances from the village line dancing but she made sure to update and tweak it while adding in modern movements as well. Her booty was popping, her joints were locking. Complex footwork took her all over the area cleared for the dance-off, bringing her in for sassy taunts before she twirled and undulated around them as if they were standing still. She worked the crowd as well, like a well-oiled idol machine. For just a moment, even if it was basically a mistake, she felt like she was living the dream. The one where she'd not made the contract and had gone off in chase of what she wanted, pouring her heart and her soul into it until she could wrap it in her hands and pull it to her chest. There'd been a time when Dela had wanted to be someone everyone knew and loved. Someone who could inspire people to dream it and achieve it. Someone whose dances lifted spirits and songs lifted voices. It'd have felt something like this, right? The clapping, the smiles, the cheers. The rivalry with other idols for the top spot, to stay relevant.

Now all she wants to be was no one. Unnoticed and underestimated, since that's where she did her best work and got her best information. And when she wasn't weaseling her way into information and places she didn't belong, she was laying in pizza grease playing a game until her eyes were sore.

Before she knew it, she'd ridden her high to a resounding victory. The roaring applause and praise for her was possibly even more intoxicating than Vera's dusty remnants or the drinks she'd had, so now she had become a tempest of inhibition. Maybe she could just take what she wanted for a change, right? She'd taken this win, taken their attention, danced her heart out. Now she needed to find him. He was done drumming now, right? Well, either way, Dela got her victory stamp and then made a beeline for the one thing she really did want right now more than anything. Her body was hot and ready and everything sounded like the best idea. She'd seek him out like a missile.

Once Dela had located him once more, she walked right up to him and smacked her hands directly into the paint on his chest. "Hi," she said airily, her slicked hands trailing over his chest and the ripples of his torso, like she'd imagined secretly so many times before. "Did you see me dance? I won the dance-off," she told him idly, though sober Dela would have been mortified to admit literally any of that, let alone want anyone to see it. The wave she was on didn't seem like it would have her stopping at any point of this encounter, despite the fact that she had already crossed the acceptable line. Peering up at him with blown-out pupils and flushed cheeks, she smirked at him suggestively. "Aren't you going to congratulate me? Not even a high-five?" she asked, riding her confidence high to its peak by giving him a rather low version of the aforementioned high-five. A bit below the belt, a little more cupped, definitely more lingering and squeezy than any high-five had a right to be. "Whoops!" she feigned innocence as if she didn't mean to leave the glowy painted handprint on the crotch of his pants. A complete accident! A high-five gone wrong. Her hands hadn't just followed the happiest of trails she'd ever dreamed of traveling on or anything.

Cillian had been to more parties than he could remember over the last couple hundred years. The scenes and settings always changed as time went on, and societies and technology evolved, but generally speaking the people were always the same. Masses of strangers looking to have a good time and not caring too much about who was around, lots of loud music and dancing, drinking, and many other such activities whose presentations changed a bit over the centuries but were still the same highlights as all the parties before. The paint drums were a new idea to him, however. He’d heard of raves before, as they weren’t entirely new to modern culture, but he’d never gotten the chance to go to one. So far he was greatly enjoying himself.

He wasn’t the only one. The small crowd around him was jumping around and swaying their bodies to the music that he was drumming to, laughing and cheering as paint from the instrument sprayed all over them and him. Vera and Dela seemed to be having quite the moment of girl bonding, which made him smile slightly differently for a moment… until Vera suddenly burst into a cloud of dust, causing everyone around them but Dela and himself to screech in shock and wonder what had happened. As Dela coughed and breathed parts of Vera in, Cillian doubled over his borrowed drum, laughing. The two of them were more than accustomed to their purple haired counterpart’s proclivity for poofing into piles of what was usually some kind of drug. And given the way that most people were choking, he could only assume that the party was about to get a lot more interesting once whatever substance they’d just inhaled set in.

Managing to catch Dela’s playful wink as she walked away toward a larger dance space, Cillian grinned back at her and kept playing for a few moments longer, content with his activity and with letting her do her own thing. At least, until his crimson gaze caught what she was actually doing. She’d accepted a challenge for a dance off from a pair of twin girls that had puffed themselves up as invulnerable dancing goddesses. At first Cillian watched from where he played a bit idly, expecting her attempts to be general run of the mill dancing like any drunk woman would do. Instead, he was caught completely off guard when Dela, rough-and-tumble Dela, grouchy Dela, no-I-don’t-want-to-be-a-part-of-your-social-outing-and-you-can’t-make-me-go Dela, started throwing down moves like an utter pro.

“What the fuck?” Cillian sputtered in bewilderment, his eyes lighting up with childlike excitement over this amazing new development. Now this he had to see! Abandoning his station and leaving the drum open for the next taker, he wandered over toward the dance floor to get a better look, stopping only long enough for some event worker to stamp his hand. Along the way, he summoned Virgo and asked her to sweep up what was left of Vera and contain her safely in some fashion until the druggy Rune Knight had enough wherewithal to return to her true form. Standing just a little bit back from the front of the crowd, his tall body more than enough to peer above the heads in front of him, he watched as Dela absolutely decimated the two women, giggling like a mad man. She had put up such a protest in going to this event, just like she protested all their outings, but clearly she’d been holding something back about her interests and it had now taken form in an undeniable fashion as she flexed her skill before the dozens of onlooking eyes.

Cillian cheered as she moved, and then cheered louder as she was deemed the winner of the challenge by the roaring crowds. Once she got a stamp of her own, he grinned his wide, cheshire smile at her as she came right toward him. Hands in his pockets with his typical comfortable and slightly slouched posture, he didn’t pull back or act at all odd when she practically threw herself against him, her hand running along his chest and smearing around the paint that had accumulated there. “You kidding me?” he exclaimed when she asked if he’d seen her dancing. “How could I miss it? You kicked their asses! Who knew all this time that little miss lazy had a wild side that included killer dance moves?”

If he thought anything about the way she was talking to him, looking at him, or touching him, he didn’t show it. He’d seen Dela drunk before and already knew that she got a little handsy while inebriated, so at this point he just took it at face value that she was just more physical as a drunk. In his mind, it had little to do with him or any possible feelings of attraction she might genuinely feel. It was just liquid courage. So he made no attempts to push her away or stop her, at least not yet. He’d probably wind up having to do what he did last time at the Rune Knight ball and just keep an eye on her until her high started to come down, and then he’d likely have to escort both her and Vera back some place where they could recover. Dela inquired about a congratulations, playfully berating him for not at least giving her a high five. Still grinning, he began to slip a hand out of one of his pockets to obliged her.

Before he could finish offering the gesture, Cillian felt her hand up against… well, not his hand. He made a sound that was half a gasp and half a yelp, practically jumping right out of his skin. His hands flew out of his pockets to take hold of her by the elbows, pulling her hand back a bit as it lingered a bit longer than her innocent “apology” would have otherwise suggested. “Ooookay,” he said with a somewhat nervous laugh, his smile returning to his face but now slightly more alarmed than before. “Boy, I didn’t realize you’d had that much to drink already. Vera must have drugged you with something harder than usual.” Once again, he dismissed her behavior as symptoms of substances that encouraged her to behave outside her normal wheelhouse.

This, at least, allowed him to recover fairly quickly, the ease of his smile settling back in as he looked down at her, still holding her by the arms. “We’ve only been here for like… maybe thirty minutes, and for the first time ever you’re actually enjoying yourself without grumbling about it. Don’t tell me I have to take you home already?”
I figure that if I live long enough, something good might happen.

WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?

There was a tremendous noise stemming from startled party-goers; they screamed, and coughed, and gagged from particle to particle, like a stream of munchkins witnessing the masterful resurrection of the Wicked Witch of the West. A dense mass of dandruff, dead skin cells, and ugly rainbow-themed bits formed what looked like a human pretzel, not from under the weight of a house but upon something substantially less glorious and very anti-climatic.

    An insignificant dustpan.

Her chin rested on the dull green plastic rather perfectly, everything else dangled unnaturally over her head, and what she would have called the accidental contortionist’s triple-fold -- everyone else decided to call it a set of broken bones, a crime scene in the making and many fainted as a result of the horrifying visage. While the more intrigued onlookers slowly brought out their lilacs to record the grotesque tragedy as well as capture softcore porn antics of the spectral-haired vixen rubbing paint all over her victim’s crotch. A bonus, certainly, albeit hard to hear the provocative interaction ensue.

From one end to the other,  the compact corpse twitched and the eyes of the supposed dead woman opened to find the two girls Dela had challenged to a dancing showdown running for their lives. Unfurling like an incredibly flexible skunk, she was back on her feet shortly after the detangling of her limbs, like it was nothing and threw her head back like she had found humor in all the trivial chaos. Vera had no idea what was going on, but everything was a dreamy delight for her and she wasn’t going to complain about it one bit.

She smiled stupidly, saluted the pair and began to part the crowd like Moses. Her slender, ruffled frame vanished into the distant nothing. Out of sight, out of mind. But not for too long, was she already sprinting back to them at full force and catapulting herself into the air like a ballerina in flight or a tiger treading through a fiery hoop.  “Now, Dela, now!” Vera roared, the wild move precalculated and surprising considering the sort of lazy body she was. She could almost feel the tip of her sneaker brushing against his shoulder. That, or she flew over Cillian and knocked the not-intended over to be on the receiving end of Dela’s advances.

The landing for the football with legs was a rough one because she was pretty sure she knocked over a few drinks, each flying from the unlucky hands of many.

    RAVE WAVE! {Event} Empty Re: RAVE WAVE! {Event}

Post by Dela 9th November 2020, 6:38 am

"I'd been wondering what you were packing..." she muttered to herself just as her hand was forced away (not that her fingers didn't pretend to be wiggling spider legs and try to crawl their way back in), leaving the glowing handprint to mark the occasion. "Very nice. I approve and I name it...Mmmmm.... The Ravager. Yeeeaaaah, that'll do...Maybe it'll ravage me?" she asked, giggling downright evilly. And what was that? Did her voice have the faintest accent from Minstrel softening the edges of her words?

"Thanks for the offer, mon papounet," she replied, missing the point of the threat of taking her home and only hearing what ecstacy-ridden horny Dela wanted to hear, which was him offering to take her home, "but I think we could just do it right here. It's a rave! No one would even notice...have you noticed what these people are doing in the crowds?" she asked, mirroring his grin back at him without a single ounce of shame. He'd definitely be able to tell by his grip on her arms that her body was running much hotter than usual, as was every other thing about her. "Why can't you see that I want y--"

Vera's triumphant and sudden return turned the tables more on the cross-faded girl's side. "I could kiss you, Vera!" she cried as the male who had her by the elbows was bowled over, and who was she to stop gravity's blessing? She gleefully went as well, perching upon him victoriously in a suggestive straddle. Peering down at her prey, she salaciously grinned. Wiggling her hips side to side, and nearly toppling off of him because her balance had gone, she drunkenly attempted to get some sort of response from the man below her. Maybe Vera should come help? He seemed dense, so maybe it'd take them both to drill through his thick skull that real women existed that needed attention other than stupid witch cats. She'd never get over Nanny. Never. "Don't you find me attraaactive? You can touch if you want. I'll only bite a little," Dela giggled, again trailing her finger in the paint on his chest from between his pecs to his pants, then up her own stomach and chest. "Maybe I should take it off? Should I? Vera! Should I take it off? Don't you think it's really hot out here?"

I have seen war, famine; witnessed the genocide. Have seen the changes in human nature and history, and I am still here, standing alone. Til the end, I will be there too. To witness the endless carnage, to live this harsh reality. Cause I have been cursed, Cursed with immortality.
Boy, Dela was really high. Cillian frantically pulled her hand away from his crotch, doing his best to keep his composure, her fingers still wiggling in the direction of that which she seemed most fixated on. She advised him that it had been a curiosity for her for some time as to what he was “packing” in the genitalia department, and that the handful she’d gotten was more than worth her approval. In fact, she liked it so much that she decided it needed a name, and thus she dubbed it…

“...The Ravager?” he repeated, equal parts entertained and utterly horrified. Cillian was so distracted by the sudden need to cope with the reality that his manhood had just been given a pet name that he didn’t even really hear her question about whether or not she could be a victim of said ravaging. His threat to take Dela home early was widely misinterpreted as the little blonde thanked him for the offer while simultaneously suggesting that they could just as easily perform the deed right there at the rave. She wasn’t wrong, of course: There were all sorts of elicit acts taking place around them, but for the most part Cillian had tuned those people out. Not that they really bothered him. It was more that they didn’t interest him or pique his curiosity as much as the other, more official activities that the rave had to offer.

The more Dela talked, the more her words became inflected with an accent he’d never heard from her before. She was also running wildly hot. Like, too hot. Cillian was starting to wonder if she’d gotten too strong of a dose of whatever Vera had exploded into the air, when the violet haired woman’s voice caught his attention. Crimson eyes glanced up briefly at the crowds to see Vera having returned to form, her gaze laser locked on her two friends with the crazed expression of a woman on a mission. Cillian’s face dropped from nervous amusement to resigned horror as Vera came sprinting at them, just as Dela was starting to follow up on her lewd propositions.

    “Uh oh.”

Down the necromancer went in a heap of paint slathered flesh, only to wind up in the most precarious position that left the women with the full advantage. Dela was straddled on top of him while Vera had landed just past where his head lay on the ground, as he stared up at the blonde in wide eyed alarm. And of course, Dela was all too pleased with the predicament, praising Vera’s efforts at being a wingman, as she began wiggling her hips all too familiarly against his own. “Gah!” Forced to release her elbows, his hands quickly went down and took Dela by either hip in an effort to steady her and lift her up a bit so as to keep her from starting anything too salacious. Of course, this meant that now her hands were free to do as she pleased, which dawned on him only a moment later.

The Rune Knight drunkenly inquired his thoughts on her physical attractiveness, giving him permission to touch her with the promise that she’d only bite a little. “Ha ha haaa..” came the nervous laugh from Cillian’s throat, as he once more put on a face of panicked amusement. “O-of course I think you’re pretty,” the lanky man stammered. His voice stuttered not because he was lying -- for he truly did think both Dela and Vera were very attractive women -- but simply because he was far, far out of his element and comfort zone. His pulse was off the charts, the warmth of her body like fire against his own in a way he’d never really experienced and didn’t entirely know how to react to. “It’s a very generous offer, but I really don’t think this is the best time… or place… And you’re clearly not sober, so I don’t think it’s a good idea t-”

Dela’s hands were once more running all over his chest, smearing the paint around on him before rubbing it up onto herself. Then, she inquired if she should take her top off. “Oh no, not again…” he whispered, more to himself than to her as visions of the ball the Rune Knights had hosted came swimming back into his head, where Dela had drunkenly began to strip in front of all of her coworkers and supervisors. She called over to Vera for an opinion, inquiring if her female companion thought she should take her clothes off. Still holding Dela in place and frantic for a miracle to get himself out of this lusty nightmare, Cillian craned his head up to try and find the woman that had put them in this predicament in the first place. “Vera! Help!” he begged, once more not stopping to think about how easily his words could be misconstrued.
I figure that if I live long enough, something good might happen.

WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?

As she accumulated a full stance after the great tumble she saw Dela. She was seated upon what looked like the same man she kicked down for her, with his back to the dirty floor, appearing absorbed with ecstacy over the attention she was giving him.

Vera looked at him, not keeping her distance to get a closer view as she crouched down and scooted closer to his face. Yes, he was certainly on the receiving end of Dela’s affections, with his finely curved lips, his expectant crimson eyes, his messy silvery white hair. There was something in the way he said help that made her rethink the situation at once. All the hot to trot readiness of youth was in Dela, as well as the unwillingness to engage on his part. She felt that he had kept himself from touching their friend in all the wrong places because he wanted to respect her as a person and not give into the temptation of the flesh. No wonder Vera had to stop to really contemplate this. Was there really such a lovable, chivalrous goober out there?

Then her mind went to the weird cockroach in the corner of her sight. It had one big eye, sans more than that, and it told her to stop the humans from riding their own set of waves or they’d all face the consequences for their actions. And reasonable Walden listened to the personification of her withering conscience that somehow likened itself to a household vermin and became part of her not-so-grand, drugged-up hallucination.  She nodded in his direction, firmly pried his hands away from the blonde’s hips and measured the space in her mind.

    If she fits, she sits.

Vera clumsily saddled up on his chest with the air of a dumb martyr and did a little odd attempt at (of?) getting comfortable, to which she made clear with the slight shifting of her buttocks.

    Dela was unleashing havoc.

    Vera would save the day.

The special ops agent made a bold announcement, and asked her if she should go topless for Cillian. After a few  fast moments Vera realized this was all a misunderstanding.  Cillian didn’t want to be saved, what with all the grabbing he did not too long ago; he needed help with other things.

“He’s got a bad case of blue balls,” she said, too sympathetically. “Let’s see if we can make it any worse than it already is. Your top or mine?”

Without needing so much as an answer to get started, her hands went up her friend’s paint smeared abdomen, her fingers poking at the ends of her black top teasingly. Just when she was about to unwrap her like a Christmas present, Vera briefly wondered if she was going to find perky mountains of green, pink or blue.

No matter what, it was going to be delightful.

    RAVE WAVE! {Event} Empty Re: RAVE WAVE! {Event}

Post by Dela 14th December 2020, 9:29 pm

The pulsing music, the flashing lights, everything was streaking like glowing fairies existing just outside the visible realm. It was dizzying, which had the poor blonde wobbling from her suspended position, though her hands gliding through the paint over her crush's chest kept her from toppling off and onto the ground. She was riding the wave of his admittance that she was pretty just as much as she was riding this accidental high with all the grace of a goose amputee. Honestly, considering how flushed and hot her body was, Dela had taken in more of the substances than she could handle for too much longer. Her pulse was so fast that it melded into the frenzied rave beat and the bodies that convulsed along with it. She wanted to form words, fire back, call him handsome, disagree that she wasn't sober (she thought she was), and otherwise, make more lewd comments, but...all her thoughts were in Minstrelois. And despite that being her long lost language, it was confusing, because she'd been alive for a long time and had spoken Ishgarian longer than Minstrelois at this point. Either way, most of her mumblings were in a different language, or only came out in giggles or pants.

And then Vera properly joined the fray other than assisting in putting him in the right position for what she had in mind.

"Yeeesss, yes, yes, Vera let's make it worse. He'll have to give in eventually unless The Ravager is broken!" she gushed, finding the right language again at last. High Dela was also very distractable Dela. As Vera misunderstood what Cillian was asking for and joined her sitting (or hovering in her case) on his chest, her hands whipped up from his chest for a nice honk on her hot female friend, since it seemed they were both gonna be handsy today. She giggled at the glowing handprints she left on each lady lump and continued to wriggle in Cillian's grip to try and get free, then suddenly registered the other girl's question. Her eyes widened with delayed, blown pupil epiphany. "Why not BOTH?" she gasped as if it was the one and only good idea she'd ever happened upon in her life. "Someone's mountains are getting climbed tonight. Off with her shirt!" she cried. Dela's hands gripping the bottom of Vera's top, pulling up and leaving smears of paint as she went. "Maybe he doesn't understand how it works? We should show him!"

Why in the world Cillian thought that Vera would help him was anyone’s guess, particularly given that Vera was the reason he was on the ground with Dela on top of him in the first place. Still holding the blond up even as she ran her hands along his body, Vera crouched down and practically shoved her face in his, watching the spectacle with dilated pupils the size of a cat primed and focused on a toy. He did not like the way she was looking at him at all. “V-Vera..?” the man practically squeaked, his voice small, high pitched, and full of dread. The purple haired woman reached over and removed his hands from Dela, and for one fleeting second Cillian though maybe he’d misread her, maybe she was actually going to take pity on him and help.

    Nnnnnnope.

An unmanly cry of self pity loosed itself from Cillian as Vera scrambled on top of his chest, straddling him the same as Dela. “Whyyyyyyyyy?” he asked, wiggling to try and pry himself from beneath the two ladies and probably only managing to make their, erm… rides... a little more exciting. Vera’s response to Dela’s inquiry about stripping was met with firm, resolute encouragement, the likes of which one would see in a doctor prescribing medication for a fatal illness more than a woman trying to play wingman for her best friend. She claimed he had a case of blue balls and not only prodded Dela into the act of stripping, but invited herself into the party, offering to take part herself. And of course, Dela had zero problems with that, claiming that if he didn’t give in to their lusty whims that it was clearly because his genitals were broken, and how could he possibly ignore them both?

And just like that, Cillian had two women high off their rockers groping and stripping one another while sitting upon him. The necromancer was in full blown panic mode as garments were yanked off, flesh becoming more and more visible by the millisecond, with him more or less helpless to stop it. “VIRGO! VIRGO, I NEED YOU!”

It was like he had forgotten who Virgo was and what she was about.

The pink haired zodiac certainly appeared at his beck and call, clad in her typical black and white maid suit, but the second her eyes lit upon the scene they developed stars. She gasped in delight, clapping her hands to her face. In an instant, a riding crop materialized in one hand and a coiled length of leather straps with buckles in the other. “Finally,” the celestial spirit breathed, seeing nothing before her but a tall heap of potential punishment.

“GAH, NO! BAD VIRGO! DON’T HELP THEM, HELP ME!”

She stopped herself two steps away from the pile of flesh, peeling her eyes away and looking at him as though it were taking a second or two for his words to process in her mind. When they did, her countenance immediately turned to that of an abused puppy, like a bone had been held aloft before her, teasing her, only to be pulled away for good. “B-but… punishment..”

“VIRGO, GET ME OUT OF HERE RIGHT NOW!”

“UGH, FINE!!” The spirit dematerialized her toys in a small tantrum and spun in place, digging a hole deep into the ground and carving her way up beneath Cillian. There, she grabbed the man and yoinked him out from beneath them, though the women would certainly also fall in the hole. By the time all was said and done, both women were unconscious on the ground on either side of the still pouting Virgo, while Cillian crawled out of the hole, gasping for breath and wide eyed like he’d just managed to miraculously escape a cheetah that had tried to eat him for lunch. “Anything else?” Virgo asked, the very model of sulk.

Cillian waved a hand at her tiredly. “Nope… Nope, that will be all, I can handle it from here. Thank you.” The spirit poofed back to the Celestial Realm, and once Cillian had managed to catch his breath he looked down at Vera and Dela with a sigh. That was close. Shaking his head, he picked each woman up carefully, easily holding them over each of his shoulders, and began his trek home. The least he could do was give them a safe place to ride off their highs, and the hangovers they would surely have later.

Boy, Laverne was going to have a lot of questions for him when he got home, though.
I figure that if I live long enough, something good might happen.
