The blonde woman cursed as she rested at the top of Mt. Hakobe. Even through the many layers of clothing she had worn for the trip, the cold pierced through her skin like a knife. Perhaps joining a guild had been a foolish idea. Who in their right mind would be willing to make a trek like this more than once? A trail of fog blew forth from her lips as she sighed. Tempeste wasn't even sure if a guild would suit her, considering she had been a loner most of her life. But something about the things she had heard piqued her interest. A guild that disregarded laws and the system that put those laws in place. Now that seemed like a place that could further the young woman's interests.
Finally standing up from her spot in the snow, Tempeste looked up at the looming building before her. This could be a huge turning point in her life. But if she wasn't willing to take risks, how was she going to make a difference? Taking a final deep breath, she advanced, approaching the rustic (and frozen) front door. Raising a dainty hand, she knocked three times, awaiting a response.
