Elysium vs Fairy Tail - Page 2 Empty Re: Elysium vs Fairy Tail

Post by Sir Leonard 9th October 2020, 9:27 am

There wasn’t much to see when trying to drill into a giant dragon from its back. The constant roaring however deafening was certainly a sound he had grown accustomed to throughout the years. Which makes the revolting, and intently biased broadcast go up all across the city, it could have been across the country in Leo’s opinion a somewhat welcome sight for he could tell even for a little bit what was going on. They  tried to poke fun on his family’s name, but it was little more than just to make these troublemakers feel good about themselves. Bullies often have to rely on petty antics such as these to cover up their desperate need for attention they lack at home. The make-shift buzzsaw rotates slower with each complete rotation until coming into a complete halt. He had not noticed and realized the damage that had already been done, even bearing witness to a depressing sight of Nessa holding an injured young man. Now, he may not know any of the new people personally, but he did learn their names and faces because he was always there, drinking his wine on the corner just happy to witness such a joyous occasion.

The old man’s hope of bringing a swift end to this dilemma but it was not meant to be. Looking around, he saw the devastation the attack has already wrought. He had to help the people. Magnolia has been attacked numerous times on account of the guild being there, and though buildings may be destroyed, it is the lives of the people that will determine whether they win or lose. Seeing as how they are already others who had wished to go ham on the biggest dragon, even so much that they were able to send it down, Leo quickly jumped off and took further assessment on Ground Zero. People were still being chased and mowed down by the smaller dragons, and there were those still stuck under debris that helped out magically with the power of his Earth Hammer.

Buildings were already ruble with few casualties that could have been more had others not evacuated already. Magnolia’s preparedness for attacks have improved, relatively speaking. He walked on over to the guild which was nearby, and even as he approached he could tell what dominated their hearts. He saw Nessa blast some fool away while Aven stood beside her, flaring with rage. Now he wasn’t the only raging about. Even the other man who attacked the dragon with the beam to the neck was angry. He thought it looked so bad that they may lose themselves to vengeance and rage, and with Mura still nowhere to be found, no one could guide them forward as a family. As Fairy Tail. To make matters worse, Leo heard a bell hit rock, a gogning sound that was so familiar, he had a brief flashback of him being in front of a crumbling Cardia Cathedral. Briefly, he closed his eyes, sighed and turned around. Unsurprisingly, he once again bore witness to the same event, albeit a version involving dragons. Letting out a deep sigh once more, the old man held his composure, they needed to focus. These are just buildings, he tried to convince himself, muttering that “There is still hope.”

He turned once more to the hall’s remains and approached it as fast as he could. His magical energy being overshadowed by the numerous powerful mages around him that had theirs spewing out made the lesser dragons think he was no threat. Many of the creatures tried to attack him all at once, only to be stopped by a blade revolving around the swordsman, cutting down whenever they got close. He didn’t even keep count, he was more concerned with making sure the children got comforted, as he dragged his hammer across the ground.

When he got close, he calmly begged them “Calm down, children. Please do not let rage and vengeance get a hold of you.” Tapping Aven on the shoulder gently when got close enough to do it. The hammer also collided with a piece of rubble from the hall, and when it did more of the debris cleared out, digging up anyone else that could be buried still. The digging up procedure also unearthed and exposed the statue of one Herro Reyold. He took a quick stare at it and already memories came back of how he defended against other numerous threats to the guild, a memory to the old days to be sure, but that’s what it will stay as, leaving it as he turned his back on it and left it to be a symbol of heroism for people to see while Leo saw to the condition of each Fairy Tail there was.

The man saw that there were a lot of people injured, either depressed or enraged at what is happening. He tried to get their hopes up, saying that it's going to be ok, that they’re not out of the fight yet. However they ridiculed him. Kept commenting in disgruntled voices who he was for suddenly taking charge when he did nothing but drink, and occasionally helping. Leo sighed when he heard these. Immediately he had decided what he wanted to tell these people as he raised the hammer, slowly transforming to a blade with an orange hilt, yellow blade under a dim golden glow with the mark of the guild resting on the hilt. “I am Leonard Dragonbane. For those who do not know what that name means ask those who do know. Just know I’ve been with the guild the longest, and I care for it as much as anyone else, so please listen.” he replied calmly, but sternly.

He placed the Fairy Tail sword on the ground, and it eminanted a warm light, soothing and healing people of their wounds and negative emotions. While he knelt down and grabbed a piece of the old oak doors on the ground. He whispered to it Awake once more, old friend. Welcome our family back home. as he stood up, leaving the sword on the ground to do its thing. The piece glowed a faint orange hue and had an outline of the guild mark as he spoke those words.

“We are still in this fight. They destroyed our hall, not our guild. Again, the hall is destroyed and buildings are built on wood, steel and stone and they -” stopping to throw out his hand that had the door piece, seemingly throwing it aside but was actually putting the door back together with ancient magic cast upon it in ages past, the reason it continued being used through every iteration of the hall while his words rang loud clear and strong as a wall none can topple down. “-can be repaired. Our Guild, our Home on the other hand, is built on bonds and memories. The bonds we share with one another that no one can ever break, along with the memories of those that came before and those that are still here. This is what makes us a family, united against the darkness of this world. And a family first and foremost protects their kin and their home!” The man’s voice grew louder and louder as he continued to attempt to inspire the people with the truth. Something that might be hard to do with a giant screaming dragon wreaking havoc on the background, but he still tried nonetheless. He was already hip deep on his speech that it would be a waste to stop now. “So do not let your fury be guided by rage and vengeance that blinds us to the suffering of those we must protect, but by hope and justice that will save more lives. Because if you stand, the Guild stands, and when the Guild stands, hope stands.” He would go over every member he could, dusting debris off them, picking their items up for them, placing them firmly over their hearts. “And mete out justice for those they have wronged. Because anything less would make us no better than them, and they win if we do that. So rise, children of Fairy Tail. Defend our people and our home!” Some of the mages roared in inspiration as some did go over to help the citizens of Magnolia while Leo picked up his sword and raised it in the air in a battlecry. And in perfect unison, dust from what can only be described as a Fairy Tail guild spell came upon them. Leo smiled a little with the realization that Mura is out there fighting as well, spreading hope in his own way. “Our Master sends us his grace, further proof that hope, that the Guild still carries on! Fairy Tail and Magnolia were attacked before and still we persevere. This day is no different! Fairy Tail will not fall so long as our bond as family is strong! Kill them if you must, but let it be for Justice! For Our Family! For Magnolia and Fairy Tail!” he roared, standing beside Nessa and Aven, looking over to the maiden, and then back in front to the war torn city, adding another line with the same intensity as before “For Percy!” he then found a camera that looked to be broadcasting the battle and looked at it fiercely “Broadcast that, motherfucker.”

The last line sprang the rest of the mages into action, spreading across the city, helping out wherever they can. And though many were taken down by the black flames of the giant dragon, they pressed on, fueled by the hopes Leo shoved down their stomachs as best he could. They were really already fired up, but it was for the wrong reasons in his opinion. How can they manage to save the city and the guild if they were to lose themselves in the process. He just hoped it worked for the stronger mages like Vandrad, Nessa, Aven, Sorano, Martian and others.

Leo himself charged once more towards the dragon and sliced up any lesser whelp in the way as his contribution to those doing crowd control, but not before seeing a beam of light shoot out the sky. Magic that clearly came from Lina amplifying any other mage in her area of the city to help out. The young girl may not be able to fight on her own but she was just as skilled in inspiring others, if not better, to fight harder than they ever thought possible. She did have that effect on him after all. On her view, a few city guards and some mages were all packed up in a bubble of Lina’s making, seeking healing and protection as they got patched up. The young mage herself speaking words of encouragement and hope to the civilians she did manage to protect while leading out of the city. Though the bright eyed girl would be devastated when the black flame of the dragon made its way to their part of the city. And though she wasn’t anywhere near it, she could not bring hope back to them. The magic of the fire was far too great, not only for her, but, in her opinion, even for high ranking healers and just requested big strong guys to carry those afflicted with it outside the city. When the area was clear, he once more took a leap at the dragon and slashed it up near the neck area Vandrad was aiming at with a sword he had called Myth Buster. He had whispered to himself before calling it out on his charge, saying “Myth Buster, reforged from the blade Dragonbane. Earn your name.” And with it, the area he slashed up got him to peel off a few more scales than what he was trying to do earlier. His identity was out now, there was no point hiding his other toys, but he did wonder if there was a way he could erase their memory of him being Leonard Dragonbane.

A deep and furious roar split the sky, causing the entirety of Magnolia to come to an abrupt halt. The people stopped in their tracks amidst their daily routines, turning their heads toward the air with confusion and trepidation. Thana glanced up with them, her own expression excited rather than dismayed. The large black dragon swooped above the rooftops of the town on its way toward Fairy Tail, causing civilians to scream and scatter in panic. The winged reptile landed roughly on top of the guildhall, shattering its windows and causing quite a bit of destruction to the building. It took a few seconds as the members recovered from their initial shock, but soon enough she could feel a great deal of magical energy being shot throughout the building as Elysium members poured in to join the fray, spells hurling every which way at mages and dragon alike.

A small grin spread across her face, and in the chaos of the townspeople scrambling for shelter Thana carelessly tossed her book to the side. She stood from her chair, the calm amidst the storm and began striding casually toward the building in question. Her disguise was maintained until she got to the guild hall, stepping confidently inside through an opening in the rubble where she hung back briefly to survey the scene. Anyone who hadn’t died in the dragon’s initial landing was currently caught up in fighting for their lives. It was a beautiful sight. She could practically smell the fear, the anger, the sorrow lingering in the air. It set her blood on fire. Her mind was ripe with anticipation of the carnage to come, of the pain and suffering that laid in store, even for herself.

She watched as a few unlucky individuals attempted to claw their way out of the debris, and in the process of doing so something caught her eye. Unearthed by the shifting rubble was a boulder composed of crystal, and visible within its core was a statue. Or was it a corpse? Its likeness was unlike anyone whom Thana would recognize, as she wasn’t entirely familiar with any particular members of the guild. She knew about Mura, of course, and a couple of the more prominent members that had made names for themselves, such as the Wizard Saint Nessa, who lingered nearby over a fallen comrade. However, she did have someone with her that could give her a bit more insight into this peculiar piece of decor that Fairy Tail saw fit to hide within the bowels of its halls.

Those are the remains of one of Fairy Tail’s former Guildmasters, Darius told her, the disembodied wizard’s voice speaking gently within her head. And it looks as though it is still capable of generating some magic. Indeed, there was a trace of power emanating from the crystalized husk, albeit a faint one, as little bits of lightning zapped around the structure. Thana could only assume it was trying to do something in reaction to the attack. Even despite its minimal power, it was impressive.

It was also adorable, given how pointless the thing’s attempts were. “Well, I suppose that provides us with an opportunity for a little fun. What do you say we make an example out of this… attempted beacon of hope and defiance?,” she said, not bothering to care about speaking out loud to the voice only she could hear. If anyone happened to be paying attention to her, it would surely look like she was talking to herself. With a grin, she made her way over to the exposed crystal. As she walked, her disguise melted away to reveal her true form. Blonde hair gave way to black, blue eyes to amber ones that seemed to burn like fire. Her red dress sported long sleeves that hung off her shoulders, and a short skirt with a feather topped slit that left one side of her hips fully exposed up to her side.

Her magic coursed through her, increasing the density of her arm until it was durable as steel. Reaching back, the Warlord of Madness let her fist fly. It connected with the crystal and shattered it, the glittering shards splitting into a million pieces and abandoning the form it had been protecting within. Thana reached down and snatched the remains by the neck, lifting it up before her. With her freehand, she jammed her nails deep into the corpse’s throat, opening a gaping wound that was more than big enough for her interests. Slipping the fingers of both hands inside, she pulled in opposite directions and ripped the head off of the remains in one swift motion. Thana dropped what was left of the body back onto the ground where it slumped against the debris and dug her hand a little up the head’s neck, holding on to what was still attached of its spine like it was a puppet on a stick. Lifting the head to her face, Thana smiled at it as she gently combed its hair almost lovingly with her bloodied fingers.

Unbeknownst to her, a figure appeared briefly in the background, unnoticed by just about everyone present. It was small, floating gently where it hovered amidst the carnage. One could have said it was an angel, except that its appearance was rather unlike any kind of angel one would feel comforted by. She had long hair that was so bright a blonde it was practically white. Black wings held her aloft, crimson eyes the color of fresh blood watching the Elysium Ace -- or rather, her victim -- like a hawk. A small but cruel and satisfied smirk curled its way upon her lips at the sight… and then she disappeared as quickly as she’d materialized, gone before anyone could truly notice she was there.

A few final traces of faint electricity tingled her flesh before fizzling out, the last remnants of the corpse’s power. “So sorry, darling,” Thana cooed to the lifeless scalp in her grip. “I’m afraid you are long past the time when you could have done anything to save your little children.” She leaned in to a disturbingly intimate proximity, tweaking the corpse’s nose playfully, her lips disgustingly close to those of the remains. “But don’t worry, I’ll take good care of them,” she whispered, before planting a gentle kiss upon the deceased guildmaster’s mouth.

Just when the members of Fairy Tail and Martian were seemingly making headway in their continuous beating down on the giant Black Dragon, the malignant lizard quite literally leveled the nearby forests with a swipe of its tail in annoyance before breathing down a rain of flaming death upon its more minuscule enemies. The attack was at such a massive scale that there was no way Mars could move far enough to avoid it, which meant his only option was to fortify his own defenses in order to survive it. Instinctively drawing upon the processes that sustained his own life, the red fighter relived, remembered, and then replicated his Autumn Bog Armor and willfully metastasized his own body's tissues yet again to create another layer of the carapace that already protected him like armor. Heat and fear would strike him down, but his hate and rage at his own weakness was stronger and forced him to get back onto his feet, leaving him barely alive yet still flowing with more than enough strength to move about and continue the fight. Gathering himself and focusing his mind, he moved in a blur of Vanishing Vermillion, crossing a great distance in a brief moment almost faster than thought.

Before he would regroup with the others, Mars got as close as he could to the dragon to land three more hits before running to where the others were if only to recover what energy he lost. Whatever he could get in what little time they had before they went back on the defensive. While in respite, Martian sat there in silence as Leonard gave his rousing speech. The baker's apprentice had no history with the guild being as recent a recruit as he was, and justice was a concept that wasn't very tangible for him. It was strength and those who had it that dictated what was fair and what wasn't. It was omnipotent strength that Martian Moonie sought above all else, the power to determine his own fate and live in absolute freedom. His whole life was dedicated to the pursuit of strength, for it was his inability as a child that allowed monsters to take his mother and father away. To that end, he awakened a prowess that has yet to be explained, allowing him to temper himself into a weapon, the explosive power within his fists being the ultimate expression of his will.

One moment, Odhran was asking a simple question, and the next, he was blown away all the way across down, barreling through buildings like they were made of paper! He tumbled through brick and stone and wood, his momentum failing to halt. It took the Hallow's Phantom arriving and grabbing hold of some nearby walls for the Celestial Spirit God to finally be slowed, aided by his summoning forth of spider like appendages to dig into the ground.

"Well, that's awfully rude of her," he scoffed, brushing away the rubble from his swim trunks. "I was just asking a simple question. All I needed were a few directions. Just one quick point of a finger, that's it. A minute of her time, no more! I even said as much! Geez, some people are just so entitled." He looked around, seeing where he ended up. He had found that his momentum had stopped in a bakery, the stunned baker staring up at him. "I'll take a bear claw and two glazed donuts," Odhran casually said. The baker did as Odhran asked, grabbing the confections for the Ace of Elysium to consume, which he quickly did. "Hm. I might consider giving you a two star review on Yip. No guarantees. Any way you could help me find out where I was before?" The baker weakly pointed his finger at the series of holes in buildings, most of them fitting his size. "Huh. I suppose that might make sense. Since you're so helpful, I'll consider naming you as a personal employee of mine. So long, Greg!"

Odhran yawned as the spider like appendages sprinted him back towards the site where he was before. Perhaps, he thought, the baker's name was, in fact, not Greg. Honestly, looking at his appearance, the baker truly struck him as a David, perhaps even a Daniel. Either way, there were other pressing matters at hand. This white haired woman was rude beyond belief! Such an affront to his gloriousness as to simply fire him away and not even answer a question when he deigned her worthy of being someone to ask! Honestly, she probably was Fairy Tail, to make things even worse. Such a good opportunity, wasted by her being so incredibly rude! Rather than fire a giant ball of light at her, she could have just done what she should have and bent her head to die like the other pathetic guy she was crying over. Gosh, such people were fools! It was an honor to die at the hands of Odhran Aegisbane, so declared Odhran Aegisbane himself!

He came back to the spot with the white haired woman, though the possibly dead guy seemed to be gone at this point. He switched the spidery appendages for a pair of wings and fluttered up to a nearby roof, sitting at its ledge as he manifested a black and gold longbow within his hands. "Hey! Snow White!" he barked angrily, twirling the bow around his finger. "I have to say, I'm a little bit disappointed in you. Judging by your looks, you seem like someone who would at the very least answer a simple question. I even gave you the reason that I needed to know where the guild hall was, and you just rudely shot me! Hell, I bet you don't even know who you shot! I am Odhran Aegisbane, the Coming Storm! Future Warlord of Fiore! God of the Celestial Spirit Realm! Ace of Elysium! King of Reality! Runner Up in the Crocus Theater's Competition for Interpretive Dance!" He flexed his right arm, pointing at the Elysium tattoo upon it. "See this?! You don't just get handed something like this for showing up, you need to have grit, you need to have determination, you need to have a certain je ne sei quoi about your life to earn something like a guild tattoo. You don't strike me as someone who can even join a guild, let alone be an Ace of one, like myself. Plus, if I'm honest, I think we're winning right now. Your guild hall got smooshed real good, got it? Now, if I'm honest, you've angered me a bit. You didn't even bother answering my simplest of questions! Come on, now! That's just incredibly rude! So, for that, I'll have to punish you. Don't worry, it's entirely personal."

With that, he ceased the twirling of his bow, pulling the celestial string backwards as seventeen and a half arrows formed upon it, which the god fired upon the white haired bitch, in hopes of killing her for good.

Elysium vs Fairy Tail - Page 2 Empty Re: Elysium vs Fairy Tail

Post by Akeya 14th December 2020, 7:47 am

When Akeya joined Fairy Tail she hadn't expected her first interaction with the rest of the guild to come during a crisis. After having been approved by Mura she'd immediately departed for the first job handed to her, which resulted in her being away at the time of the attack. Fortunately the guild master was cunning enough to be able to alert everyone who was part of the guild in times of crisis, which gave the dragoness the warning needed to immediately return to Magnolia so she could see for herself what was going on.

And it definitely was a sight to behold. By the time Akeya was near the outskirts of the city the small-scale war was already in full swing. The first thing she noticed was that the city was a sea of strong emotions, almost all of them negative. She could feel spots of giddiness and excitement, most likely from the ones inciting this entire mess, but those were overwhelmed by waves of terror, anger, hatred, sadness, despair and confusion. When an assault of this scale happened without warning it was difficult for people to process it. With some luck there were enough mages with the appropriate abilities around to keep things from spiralling out of control. If nothing was done the citizens themselves might end up attacking each other in their desperate attempts to escape or survive.

The second thing was the curious fact that the main weapon used during this attack was dragons. While the magic circle that summoned the first dragon was already gone when Akeya arrived she could tell that someone was summoning a great amount of her kin to have them wreak havoc upon Magnolia Town. She wondered who it was that could make so many dragons feel inclined to aid them... although from the looks of it most of those dragons were of the lesser variety. Still her kin, but underdeveloped and more easily manipulated.

The big dragon, however... that one would have to explain himself. If he survived, that is. It seemed like quite a few powerful Fairy Tail members had already engaged the massive demolisher, forcing him to focus on dealing with them rather than continuing his rampage. Of course given that four large dragons were picking up the slack Akeya was pretty sure the big black one wouldn't feel very guilty about being occupied. If anything he'd either be annoyed at people bothering him or he'd be happy to have actual enemies to crush.

Dragons tended to have a huge ego, so taking down creatures that could actually survive a hit or two was more satisfying than squashing weaklings. Akeya herself was decidedly less obsessed with satisfying that particular need, but she recognized that it was a recurring trend in her kin.

Regardless, with how many people were focusing on the biggest threat it would be better if she concentrated on dealing with the rest. One of the four large dragons currently attacking the city would do for now.

As she stepped forward to get involved the dragoness came to a halt as she saw a light erupt from the remains of the famous cathedral, followed up by that light splitting up into countless smaller lights which arched down from their journey towards the heaven and rained down upon the enemies that had invaded Magnolia Town. An impressive display, but Akeya doubted that it would be enough to take care of the bigger threats. That said, she wasn't about to dismiss the benefit of some large scale offensive magic thinning the ranks of the invaders. The lesser dragons weren't a real threat to Fairy Tail, but the citizens of Magnolia Town were a different matter. Legal or Independent Fairy Tail relied on a positive image, so they couldn't afford to let the townsfolk suffer.

She just hoped that there were enough healers around.

Leaving that train of thought alone Akeya turned into a shadow and dashed forward, her dark shape slithering across the ground at high speed as she made her way from the outskirts to the heart of the city, straight towards the fiery red dragon who was currently rampaging around without consequences. The four havoc-wreakers were easily identified by their element: fire, frost, poison and sand. Which also made her choice easy: in the past fire might have been an issue for her, but ever since she'd realized the powers of duality the exact opposite was the case.

Once she was only a street or two separated from her opponent she emerged from the shadow, the dark clinging to her left arm and forming a jagged claw with violent red highlights. Without missing a step she shot towards a nearby lesser dragon who hadn't been taken out by the bombardment from Mura's Guild Spell. While her lesser cousin was caught by surprise he still reacted appropriately by spinning around, lashing at her with his tail before following up with a powerful bite.

Akeya responded by ducking under the tail placing her hands on the ground and spinning her body to deliver a solid kick to the side of the poor sod's head and launch him across the street. Smacking against a building which hadn't completely collapsed yet he dropped onto the ground and stopped moving, a decision reinforced by the building falling down the rest of the way and covering him in a layer of bricks and rubble.

Once her feet hit the ground Akeya launched herself forward once more. This street contained more than one of the lesser dragons, and she wanted to get rid of them before she dealt with the fire dragon. The next one had already taken a defensive stance in response to her companion being kicked across the street, growling at Akeya even as the Fairy Tail dragon closed the gap. Opening her mouth the lesser dragon released a stream of flames, which prompted Akeya to jump over it. Passing over her adversary she spun in the air to lash out with the dark claw surrounding her left arm, the jagged talons cutting through scale, flesh and muscle to disable her opponent's arms. Upon landing Akeya lashed out again, completing the procedure by cutting through the muscles on the lesser dragon's lower legs and tail as well.

Not waiting for her second target to fall down, incapacitated, Akeya kept up the pace to charge the third one. This one, having seen how the first two had been eliminated within mere seconds, duckin behind a large mound of rubble so she could land the first strike once Akeya moved past the rubble. Unfortunately she was unaware of magic abilities of the Fairy dragon, so she wasn't in a position to react when Akeya shot out of the lesser dragon's own shadow to grab her by the neck and slam her against the ground. Holding her prey in place with one hand Akeya once again used her dark claw to put some holes in her target's limbs, this time hitting the joints rather than the muscles.

Standing up Akeya glanced behind her to confirm that the street was now secure. Three lesser dragons taken care of, one knocked out and two rendered incapable of moving or fighting. As long as nobody was stupid enough to get close enough for a bite or a breath attack.

    Now, for her fiery cousin.

The twilight dragoness had only spent a scant few seconds on the three lesser dragons: more than enough time to enact her plan before the red-scaled dragon reached her position. Closing her eyes Akeya sensed his position through the shadows, feeling him getting closer and closer. Raising her claw-clad arm she gathered her mana and waited for the right moment...

When the fire dragon burst through some buildings further down the street Akeya struck. Striking downwards she plunged her claw into her own shadow, and in response the fire dragon's own shadow erupted. Large talons made of dark reached upwards to grab the red-scaled invader, gripping him and pulling him against the ground. Pulling her claw out of her own shadow Akeya kept it clenched, kept the fire dragon in place for the moment as she called out from a distance. She wasn't so stupid as to get close for him to unleash his fire upon her, at least not without some opportunity to react.

"Care to explain what is going on here?" There was no guarantee that this guy had been let in on the grand plan, but Akeya would rather make sure. Besides, even if he knew nothing she could get some information out of how he reacted to being bound and questioned.

Janet stood there as she took a deep breath sizing him up as he fended off her dragons, up until they scattered in a burst of speed. She had to wonder what his choice would be in the end. Would he stay here and fight her and watch innocent people...men, women, and children die, there lives destroyed around them or would he try to leave the fight and stop them. Leaving Janet to her own devices and chaos. Though then he would hold arm facing Seto as his guild symbol glowed and she smiled *So this is your choice* she said smiling as she felt an huge surge in magic power...something wasn't right. As what she could only describe as energy bullets flying towards Seto they would suddenly split off and go towards all the dragons and her. She looked surprised and a slight chuckle as she could save Seto, he would vanish from this attack, surly he be said he failed...but nothing could be done there...though the other four...she could protect them...as for her suddenly shadows would shoot out from the ground blocking as many of the bullets as possible. Though seeing they were breaking through the light able to get through the darkness of the shadows she looked surprised her natural defenses failing, think she was going to get until her armor surrounded her in black hellfire coating her taking the remainder of the shieling the hellfire eating the light. *Thank you mama..papa…* she smiled before she slammed her claw in into the ground cause a surge of power so strong it torn apart her arm making her grunt in pain using her blood mixed with her magic. Suddenly the ground around them shook and quaked a small earth quake only large enough to be noticed as a large two hundred meter dome shot out from the ground forming around them blocking the fireworks as they would slam against the shield. "Both wasn't a choice...so now I chose for you." As he walked to her she stared at him. She would stand up straight again looking at him as the blood on her arm would sizzle and her wounds healing...far faster then should be possible. She examined him on guard though a novice would mistake it for arrogance..would he? At the end of the day it didn't matter she was just her to tie him up...not beat him. "Mura...you chose my over the lives of you people...I wonder how they will fare...what they will think once its all over." she says ignoring his bellowing about why people don't learn and not to mess with Fairy Tail, all hollow words. Though she didn't ignore outta arrogance, he was stronger then expected after all, no sbe did it not for any other reason then to make him angry, anger was a weapon she knew how to utilize. She would then snap her dragon claw and wait to see what Mura did next.

    Outside the Dome:

From the sky dark energy where the massive dragon originated from more dragons would pour out of it as they were defeated, flying through the skys towards the frantic people running. Some Noble Mages or people would try to assist with the evacuation or fend off the dragons to the best of their ability, some being more successful than others however, most people would be bunny screaming terrified of these ancient beasts that shouldn't even be here coming out of the sky and wreaking havoc in Terror on the streets of Magnolia destroying buildings, mowing down people trying to run. Having a overall field day only qualify those few Mages that are actually trying to save people but would it be enough, until the gargantuan. Black Dragon four Janet was dealt with they would keep coming without Mercy, killing to their hearts content.

Malignus was no fool, as a Shadows bound him unable to see his enemy who are he let out a loud roar then took a deep smell...smiling his kin...before hearing a voice that wasn't Janet. It demanded him explain what they were doing here. Maligned wasn't a stupid dragon, as one of Janets eldest dragons he decided to rest sand save his strength thinking for a moment before speaking in dragons, "Protecting my Kin, come speak to me...I will not hurt you if you spare my life" he said waiting to see what this mysterious being did, he was stuck either he vanish here or he would have his conversation, however no matter the result he hand no more intention on fighting right now, more curious then angry.

    Guild Hall:

Meanwhile at the guildhall the building destroyed ruined in pieces, some of the gang members struck with fear some not even around anymore, as a dark flame survival me area burning and crackling around them few of them was still up, few of them so have the fighting spirit in them and we're ready to take on this gargantuan dragon. Ready to take on this dragon and defend what's left of their home ground and there city. The gargantuan dragon watched as this old man started to bellow out his speech of hope and that they weren't out of this yet, The hero type, a prime snack. Or at least the dragon thought it was as it went down and let out of order don't try to attack this bellowing old Warrior he suddenly felt something hard in packed his leg makes me feel old and let out of your looking up into the sky and then down at this human now, this is what you're being that had to go get a fury of blows to his leg attacking the same spot this entire time, even if you'd like it started at up and he was not happy, even more unhappy being distracted by this lesser being as something sharp had pust it's scales and caused his immense pain, what was happening to it right now how would these lesser be in getting the better of him. Has now become angry, he was now going to destroy them all. With a flap of his massive wings he let out a typhoon of wind as it ascended into the sky looking down at these lesser, flying up higher enough not to get easily hit as it looked down and opened its maw. Cracking dark energy drew in mana pulled it all in from the area like a black hole as it charged up its heavy attack, The Annihilation Cannon.

Elysium vs Fairy Tail - Page 2 Empty Re: Elysium vs Fairy Tail

Post by Akeya 15th February 2021, 3:45 pm

It looked like her binding was successful, as the fire dragon fell rather than evading or breaking out of the restraints. Although at the same time Akeya got the impression that it was a bit too easy... While the big brute did express frustration at being caught he should have been struggling more, especially since this was the middle of what could best be described as a war zone. Being bound should be cause for alarm and immediate reaction, but instead he seemed to just lay there after the first angry roar. Was he luring her into a false sense of security?

Keeping the claw used to maintain the bindings steady she glanced up at the skies where more and more dragons kept pouring forth. They were for the most part lesser cousins, easily dealt with by the more powerful members of Fairy Tail, but their sheer numbers were an issue. While Fairy Tail was known for being fully willing to commit to large scale property damage when required they weren't quite so eager when it came to inflicting casualties upon the public, and this attack had been so abrupt that a large percentage of the Magnolians hadn't been evacuated yet. That meant indiscriminate large-scale destruction was off the table, which made dealing with such an invasion a lot trickier. The rain of light that Mura had been using was a valid response-

Akeya narrowed her eyes as she felt a tremor at the same time as a large dome formed around where the cathedral used to stand. The dome, aside from being impressively ominous, successfully bocked the storm of light magic which had been shooting upwards from the ruined remains of that place of worship. Whoever Mura was dealing with wasn't going to let him redirect his attention to the rest of the city. How many other members of Fairy Tail could eliminate a large amount of targets over a large area without harming bystanders?

The twilight dragoness did have some tricks which were good for dealing with multiple enemies, but since she prioritized eliminating specific targets she probably wasn't the best choice. That and she wasn't done with the fire dragon yet: apparently he wished to talk to her. That definitely sounded like he was trying to lure her in so he could get her with a fire breath or something. While she'd bound him with those dark talons she hadn't gone so far as to muzzle him: aside from the fact that she needed him to talk the more he felt like he still had some control over the situation the less likely he was to go berserk.

"Your kin would not need protecting if they weren't invading this place." She countered even as she considered his invitation. A conversation could result in more information, but it could also be a trap. She had him bound for the moment, but she shouldn't blindly assume that he couldn't break free if he wished. There were various angles to consider here...

Luckily she could think and make up her mind very quickly. She'd maintain a cautious distance so he couldn't reasonably attack her before she had time to react, but revealing herself could result in him being more willing to actually talk about things worth listening to. She might even be able to negotiate a retreat: she'd already gone through the trouble of disabling those other dragons in a non-lethal fashion, which should help.

"If I take your life it's because you made it the most expedient option. So you'll be fine as long as you don't do anything stupid." Stepping forward to where Malignus could see her Akeya dropped her human form. She wasn't going to turn into a full-blown dragon here but she could at least hint towards her true nature. Her skin turned olive, horns grew out of her skull, wings unfurled from her back and scales covered her arms and legs while a powerful tail extended behind her.

"I might also have left you be if I hadn't been using this place for my own purposes recently, so you can probably imagine why I'm displeased at an entire army of my own kind invading my territory."

She frowned as she could feel the amount of magic power being thrown around near the guild hall rapidly increasing. She'd be extremely put out if Fairy Tail ended up being reduced to nothing right after she joined.

Whatever limited damage Vandrad had managed to incur upon the dragon, it simply wasn’t enough. Despite the rage he was feeling and the magical power that was surging out of him, the massive creature roared but managed to stay up and alive for the time being. Rather than completely drain himself of energy, Vandrad cut off the continuous beam of magic, growling as his arms parted and the flow of power dissipated. The dragon was only one part of this attack; that much he was certain of. While releasing a giant, dangerous creature was a tactic in and of itself, there was also the fact that very few Fairy Tail wizards seemed to be flocking to fight it. Some had come and were engaging it but a fair number of them were missing. Of course there was the possibility that they were out doing jobs it seemed unlikely at best.

His answer came only a moment later as he heard the roars of more dragons. His body jerked around towards the cathedral, the massive building that was one of the biggest tourist spots in the entire city. Several more draconic creatures sprung out the structure and took to the air, flying in opposing directions from one another. So someone was releasing them manually? That meant if they were to be taken out, then this entire mess could be handled. He pointed his magic senses in that direction, hoping to pinpoint the source of the dragon summons when another volley of magic followed after the creature but rather than enforce their danger, it seemed to target them. Someone else was there at the cathedral, someone from Fairy Tail who was trying to take out the dragons before they did as much damage as the larger one.

And even then, another wizard appeared to attack the dragons, bringing them low in near baffling speed and efficiency. Vandrad tracked the woman as best he could before it seemed she had gone to confront the larger dragon. Considering how well she had seemingly handled the other creatures, there was little doubt in his mind that she would certainly provide an edge in the battle with the larger one. Vandrad focused magic into his arms and rocketed down and over the street, aiming to sweep up into the dragon’s stomach with a devastating punch. But as his arc carried him upwards, a sideways glance towards the guild hall gave him pause. He had, somehow, come upon the perfect angle to look between the rubble and broken pieces of what was once their guildhall, a peek through the disarray. Normally he wouldn’t spare any kind of thought towards devastation until after the battle was finished but something had caught his eye long enough to cause him to come to an abrupt stop.

There was a woman there, standing before some kind of crystalline object Vandrad had never seen before. It was highly likely some kind of secret that Fairy Tail had, some kind of lacrima that they stored away for one reason or another. The woman smashed the crystal and snatched the remnants that lay inside, which was apparently a body of some sort. She wasted little time before she plunged her hand into the neck and divorced head from neck, disposing the rest of the body on the ground without care or attention. Instead, she seemed to be talking to the head she had impaled upon her hand, making a mockery of the body that had been respectfully laid to rest.

Fury rushed through his veins as he came to realize that this must have been another one of the attackers, slipping into the remnants of their home and further burglarizing it of the honor it had once held. His hands curled into tighter fists, his energy crackling into sharp snaps of electricity. His target had changed in an instant, the dragon all but forgotten against the utter disrespect and savagery he had witnessed. War or not, making a mockery of the fallen was one of the most reprehensible acts one could ever partake in. With blinding speed, Vandrad came surging out of the sky and to the ground, slamming into the floor with such force that the debris in the immediate area of him was vaporized from the magical energy rippling off of him. He pushed himself to his feet slowly as every bit of his magical power activated. His hair shimmered and became more crystalline, as vibrant as any polished sapphire known to man. His eyes were as deep and blue as the ocean, carrying the same silent fury as well. At the same time, a pitch black ‘M’ bubbled up from the flesh of his forehead, putting itself in full display.

"First I’m going to break you. Then you’re going to tell me everything you know about this attack. Then you and your friends are all going to burn,” he told her coldly as his aura exploded out further from him, seeming to envelope the entirety of his proximity. With a roar, he shot towards her, the ground giving out from his feet and atomizing into a deep crevasse as he left it. He shot towards her with a heavy punch aimed for her stomach, his intent to punch her so hard that she would be sent flying through stone and brick alike, wanting her to slam through wall after wall and reduce her bones to fragments.

And that would only be the beginning of her punishment.

Elysium vs Fairy Tail - Page 2 Empty Re: Elysium vs Fairy Tail

Post by Mura Kensho 28th February 2021, 4:38 am

“Do not let your fury be guided by rage and vengeance…”

… Fairy Tail was a strange place. Back when Mura walked into the hall for the first time, he found energetic individuals with too much beer and too much gunpowder in their hands. An entropic, ticking bomb was a good description for the members of that time, but they were far from a hostile danger to the people around them and to each other. Every time that Mura thought back to that time, he chuckled… but it was a dry and dated chuckle that belonged to the younger, more inexperienced Mura – the one who wanted a place to stay and learn… the one who wanted to move on from the gore of death among your own ranks to the silliness of arguing over what type of Slayer Magic was most powerful and whether fairies actually had wings or not.

If the guild was strange back then, was it still strange today? In his eyes, who had watched over it ever since… the answer would be yes. As a matter of fact, it was even stranger now. The guild was magical. The guild was precious, his seedbed, his safe haven. No matter one’s view on life, entering that hall brought something unexpected in everyone… that was the conclusion he reached so long ago.

Of course, anger and thirst for retribution had been driving forces for the young Guildmaster. Guilds had come and gone over the years, some thinning out in members and others disappearing in thin air. Seeing Fairy Tail turn to dust right in front of his very eyes… seeing the dust blow away with the wind into nothingness… the mere thought tore him apart.

Because Fairy Tail was so much more to him than just a guild. Magnolia’s citizens knew it. His guildmates knew it. More fearful than seeing their town crackle down right around him was thinking of all that his predecessors went through simply wither away into yet another note in the parish register.

It was clear that the guild’s history meant a lot to him. But he had to focus, just as always… history wasn’t just the past. If it were to die down, then he had the present… and whatever he made of the present would become the future.

His family needed him. He had to hurry. And to finish the job, he had to concentrate… so quench your anger, Mura.

One of the dragons fell to the fireworks charging from the guild’s secret spell, but the four others were guarded by Janet as best as she could. Mura grunted at the sight of shadows emerging from her, forming walls that blocked the missiles and safeguarded her dear dragons. The missiles almost took her down, but she doubled down her own defense by coating herself in fire… a fire that felt a little familiar at first, but it annoyed him. Then again, in his state of being, anger didn’t cloud him as much… and he was noticing that she was running low, perhaps.

Especially considering the dome that now surrounded them… with four dragons on the loose outside, Mura had just been pushed into another non-permeable corner. The easiest and most efficient counter was to take down the summoner in front of him, but he had so little time and so many to guard…

    … Akemi!

The magic power of the stoic Dragon Slayer exploded akin to when she transformed for him back in Tenrou Island. Had Janet noticed her? If so, he could use it as his opening – the dome around them could prove to his use for his next attack as it limited both his and Janet’s area of mobility. But her Dragon Slayer Magic was a pain in the ass… he witnessed her manipulate both fire and shadows. If she were to replenish her mana by eating the shadows forming within the dome, then his next attack would be futile.

… Yet she hadn’t done that up until now. She was really just playing around with him, and he had to use that careless attitude to his advantage. “As if I’d choose a dying half-dragon over my town-“

That was when he felt the step in power from outside of the dome.

“A… seems my dependable Dragon Slayer is hunting down your contracts as we speak. That’s one less thing to worry about.”

A jab? Janet’s first words towards him were of resentment towards Dragon Slayers. Would this jab widen the opening for him? He could only hope. Even his comment about her being a half-dragon could prove definitive… and fatal.

The moment Janet opened her mouth again, he’d jump forth. So much happened in less than the blink of an eye; golden fires emerged from him and almost covered the entire dome, but it leaked back into his skin just as quickly. When he was right up in front of Janet, he made sure to swing his blade from down left to up right, covering as huge an area as possible for minimizing the potential of missing.

He only had one go… his mana reserves wouldn’t allow him to sustain this spell for any longer. His grip was getting a little weak, too… but in that one, definitive swing, he held enough force to slice a mountain.

Elysium vs Fairy Tail - Page 2 Empty Re: Elysium vs Fairy Tail

Post by Aven Alveron 16th March 2021, 11:19 am

Aven's fury was tangible, dark energy thrumming loudly in the air around him as it steadily rose from the ground, crowding the air like ash from a volcano. He'd never been so blinded by anger, his vision darkening as his heart pumped an blackened blood through his veins at an alarming rate. His eyes darted around the battlefield as the energy for Fairy Law continued to gather in his right hand, the hatred in his mind wavering and disrupting the flow of magic. Aven had only ever practiced Fairy Law in theory; this would be the first time he'd ever truly cast it, and by the instability of the spell thus far, a backfire was almost assured. This thought didn't cross Aven's mind, however, as he brutally forced magic energy from his system, gathering it in his palm: he was going to annihilate those Dark Wizards, who dared to harm his Fairy Tail family, his home away from home. With that thought, he activated his Circle Magic's Ascension Glyph, starting a chain reaction along his chest, which lit up with golden magic glyphs, the light breaking softly through his clothes and contrasting heavily against the black particles that surrounded him. As the glyphs manifested, the air immediately around his began to pulse with magic power, almost in rhythm and harmony with the thrum of his Dark Matter. In sequence, his left leg let out a burst of those same dark matter particles, swirling in a spiral-like pattern exactly like his left arm. I'll make them regret even setting FOOT in Magnolia...

Before his rage could boil over, however, a hand settled on Aven's shoulder from behind. He whipped his head around, to find the form of a grizzled old man, one he recognized from around the guild. In his heightened state of awareness, Aven could sense a large amount of magic power in the man's body, from his touch, at least equivalent to his own. “Calm down, children. Please do not let rage and vengeance get a hold of you.” The man spoke in a firm but gentle voice, and for a moment, Aven was reminded of his own Father. Their demeanor was similar, in the way they spoke and held themselves, as gentle giants. In fact, it was that same demeanor that Aven had emulated over the years, one he greatly respected. His anger did not subside, but the words cleared his head, as well as his vision, enough for him to adequately assess the situation. Taking a second look around the battlefield, he zeroed in on Vandrad and the other Fairy Tail Wizards, and noticed the unstable mote of energy in his right hand. That's right. Aven was a protector, not an aggressor; even through his anger, it was Aven's job as a Fairy Tail Ace to protect it's members over all else, which included attacking the enemy.

Taking a deep breath, as the man strode up further into the battlefield, Aven only nodded in response. For him, it was no longer the time for words, focusing his attention toward Fairy Law. He solidified the syntax of the magic, and began to fortify the structure of the spell, now balancing the energy output of the mote between both of his hands, to stabilize it. As long as he stood in the center of the battlefield, within around two hundred and fifty meters of the other members, he would be at his most effective. In the meantime, while he charged Fairy Law, he would be the Fairy Tail's shield, and once Fairy Law was ready to cast, so too would be his final form, one he'd only taken once before: The Transcendant of the Forgotten Realm.

As the man reached the tattered and broken remains of the Guild Hall, he began a vibrant speech, speaking of the ture nature of Fairy Tail... as well as his own nature. Aven recognized the name instantly, having come across it in his training to become an Ace: Leonard Dragonbane?! He was still alive, and here, of all places! Why had he kept himself a secret, all this time? Surely, Aven had seen the man around the Guild Hall, conversing with other members. It was not the time for such questions, however, and Aven found himself inspired by Leonard, the presence of the First Guild Master bolstering his confidence. In response to the final cry, Aven shouted out in chorus, "FOR PERCY!"

I have died everyday waiting for you, Darling don't be afraid. I have
loved you for a thousand years, I'll love you for a thousand more

She had meant to help her friends.

She had meant to fight the dragon. To stop it. But as she turned to the beast, uttering those threatening words. Her eyes would fall on another sight, across the grounds of rubble that was once her guildhall.

He stood there, a delighted smile stretched across his face, those yellow eyes trained on her. Just as she remembered him from all those years ago, older looking but undoubtedly him. With his jet-black hair slicked back in its usual style. His arm around the throat of a civilian, holding the man in a headlock and preventing him from running away. The man he held was just one of the bar hands, someone who came in occasionally to cover shifts when things got busy. Just a normal guy.

So why was Rex holding him?

It was because of this that she didn't hear Leonard inspiring words, nor the cries of the guildmates around her. She simply remained frozen in place, as they all rushed off to fight the Dragon. She was frozen by shock until finally the noise of someone else yelling at her pulled her back. It was that guy from the enemy guild, shouting at her about her rudeness, she kept her gaze on Rex. Raising her palm, she created another orb of light and launched it at the guy, this one much stronger this time. Designed to force him an even greater distance. She didn't have time to deal with him, all she could do was focused on Rex.

Nessa glanced at the Dragon, which was currently being dealt with by the other strong members of the guild. she wanted to help them, but there was a man who needed her help and it just so happened to be her ex holding his hostage. She knew he was here for her, and she had no choice but to rely on her friends and hope they would be able to handle the Dragon without her. She marched toward him, covering the ground between them swiftly. Thoughts running wild in her head: Why was he here? Was he a part of this guild?

As she got closer, she could see the blade pressed to the barkeep's throat, threatening to slice him open. "Ah, ah, ah. That's close enough Nessie," He purred, his voice as smooth and condescending as ever. "Rex, what are you doing? Why are you here?" She cried, "Are you with them?" She said, gesturing toward the chaos around her. He chuckled airily, "You would think, wouldn't you? But no, I just saw the mayhem and decided it would be a good time to reveal myself. Right when you're sooo keen to help your friends. I mean you could ignore me, go fight that big bad dragon and join in your guilds heroism. But then you know better than that don't you, because if you so much as turn from me, I will tear through this man's jugular with my knife. Oh, this must be KILLING YOU! Don't worry, you can still help your guildmate here," He finished with a cackle with his free hand, he threw an object at her feet.  "Put that on and I'll let him go. Won't hurt a hair on him, pinky promise."

She turned her gaze upon the object, seeing that it was a choker, a metal band with an assortment of crystals lining its centre. She bent down, carefully scooping it up off the ground, eying the necklace. "You'll let him go? You won't hurt him?" She asked, her fingers were trembling, every part of her wanting to cry just at the sight of him. but she couldn't, she needed to stay composed.

"I promise. You can trust me, babe, I'm only here to play with you." Her eyes watched his as he said this, it didn't seem like he would lie about that. Then again Rex didn't seem like the type to do a lot of things in the past, only to reveal himself as a pig amongst men. Still, she could see no other way out of this. Bringing the band to her neck she would fit the choker around her throat, before clumsily clasping it shut. Tears brimming as she obeyed his request. There was a pause as she waited to see what it would do... but as the moment passed, Nessa quickly realised that nothing was happening. ""O-okay... I did what you ask... now let him go, please."

Rex's smiled at her, a smile that she had once daydreamed over, now appeared so sinister in her eyes. For a moment she thought he would change his mind, then suddenly he moved the knife away and shoved the barkeep away from him. The barkeep looked at her with an expression both grateful and unsure, she would nod her head, gesturing for him to run. Rex turned to look at him, his eyes narrowing slightly, "You heard the lady, beat it. I don't want to kill her but I will if you don't leave us." He remarked, waggling the knife in her direction. With a glance at the knife, the barkeep began to turn, running away from the pair and leaving Nessa alone with her deranged ex-beau.

Rex snickered, hooking the knife's hilt into a notch on his belt and grabbing a different object. A small black cylinder, no larger than his palm. "What an idiot, as if I would kill you. Not when we haven't had any time to catch up." It was at this point that Nessa darted forward, trying to summon the light in her fists to pound against his skull. But Rex moved fast, dodging the strike and catching her fist in his palm. It was now that she realised she hadn't been able to summon her starlight, her eyes widened in shock and she quickly realised the purpose of the choker.

"Neat isn't it, my little nullification band. It won't last very long, maybe an hour or so, but that's all I need. Oh, and it has another little trick too!" He told her, letting go of her fist and pushing the end of the cylinder in his hand. Nessa reeled back, pain rippling through her body, a sensation not unlike electric coursing through her. She let out a guttural cry before collapsing to the ground, her body twitching from the shock of the pain she had just experienced. Like agonizing waves of energy, rippling through her for a moment before disappearing once again. "Hmmm, you know babe, those legs of yours are looking as supple as ever." She could feel him crouching over her, a hand running up her leg. Then it was gone and he was standing above her once more, "It's a shame to do this to them but... I don't want to shock you every time you try to run or fight me so..."

    Crunch!

Had it not been for the sound of fighting, of magical blasts and combat around them, then someone might have heard the cry that left the girls lips. The pained scream she emitted as the bone of her leg gave way under the force of Rex's kick. "Now then, let's head out babe, we've got a date to keep." He told her perkily, crouching down, he scooped her into a bridal hold and made his way out of the combat area. The pair disappearing into an alley and out of sight.

Janet pause to think about his words for a brief moment thinking about everything he just said was there someone outside taking down her babies per family not just her guildmates but her family of dragons as well, she's a little Comfort even though they couldn't die due to the magic that was holding them here they would simply vanish however there's nothing she could do for them at the moment she still had a job to do in here, they were strong reliable. And most importantly they did their job already, they went , she sent them out to do it and that just caused fear. As long as they cause Rampage of Destruction even do one of these so-called fairies to them, then they have accomplished plenty on the room turn the age of the Dragon was coming and she be damned if she be called a half dying Dragon, her lineage meant everything her family meant everything to her and we caught a half Dying Breed from a Lowly, filthy dragon slayer would not be tolerated in her presence. No no it was personal. Slaughtering her kindly, insulting her lineage no longer was she going to leave now just to add to her job was done now he was going to make him understand how much he hurt her. Just how much damage you can do to one man and further her own goals at the same time. However these thoughts are quickly interrupted She was gone, and a blink-of-an-eye her eyes widened in pure surprise for a moment, up until now he's been loving her killer be at her and he hadn't had to worry about him getting close, how could you forget about that precious Katana that he had, how could you be so arrogant. Lost her goals, lost in her thoughts. She would make sure she never had this mistake happen again. If you made it out of this alive and she suddenly saw him appear right in front of her getting ready to slash at her with his blade the magic from the fairy fireworks I don't think her weakening her armor damaging her so they're Blade with stripe through to her. There's nothing she could do at the moment and with that she could feel the steel cutting through her as her one straight out and she fell back screaming in pain lying there went on the ground for a moment not moving and not responding….

Malignus would look up at the dragon girls form as she stepped towards him listening to everything she had to say. I do a lot on a small grown still unable to move. “We all have a side to play, I Choose loyalty to my kind, yes we are attacking we owe it to her, I serve the dragon Queen, you would be right to do so too... however something tells me my words will be lost on you so I won't waste my time.” he would say as his form started to Glow almost a soft goal as if he was disappearing slowly fading into a light from the summoning spell wearing off for being ended he gave her a small smile. “ however as my kin I will tell you this part, I chose not break out of these restraints, I chose to keep you here away from my Queen, good luck with your path Kin and I hope we meet again.” he said he would start to fade away and disappear in trouble light along with several other glows from the nearby dragons disappearing the Carnage and message reaching far and wide however no more suddenly all sounds have stopped and for the moment it was peace and quiet but only for a moment nearby that Cathedral.

The loud roar of the Dragon attacking the fairy tales guildhall out as a mostly affect until the point where it looked down and growled before its wings puffed up As I was going to annihilate this area it's saw someone, some burglar woman however the scent was unmistakable one of the ones that the queen has said not to touch to make sure you didn't destroy. Angry with this new decision and distracted it but I would let out its blast towards the city out of section that hasn't been totally destroyed yet assimilated it destroyed it to the point where there is nothing but beckage and a small crater leaving where once a part of the city stood how many people died in the blast was unsure by the dragon knew what his priorities in order is were. before long though a mighty blow was struck in against the Dragon As it roared out loudly and start to fly up into the air its job was done and he didn't need to take this pasta anymore, plus it was close to dying another strike like those might actually hurt it my actually take it down, you can allow that he still had to serve the queen so he flew up straight into the sky giving up massive Roar flying towards support of what came out of its time was almost up anyway to spell going to be maintained for too much longer. Not bad for a first attempt leaving The Once guildhall and creating the state made along with the various majors at stuff to fight it you take note of the ones at the guildhall down, they were two Warriors, they would be fun to come back to and meet again.

Janet's eyes blink but she woke up from the blow seeing that the Mage that had struck her down backwards to her all he would here is a small Sizzle from her Dragon Blood keeping are alive, how close to death was she. She'd be dead or pretty close if it wasn't for a passive regeneration abilities and how strong they were due to her blood she might have died here however she wasn't dead and he was weak, he just became prey. to quickly cut your dragon claw and a shadow from himself would yank the katana from his hand and she would suddenly disappear and her own shadow from the Dome. the appearing in front of him point-blank with a snarl her dress cut into ribbons she glared at him for a moment no worries will be exchanged time out this time not yet she just point blank open her mouth and in Point Blank by return Nightshade Roar into him that would send him flying on to a stomach and probably knock him out or at least his sheer willpower keep him awake whatever the case may be. as she stood there for a moment getting ready to leave she looked down with the katana on the ground her smile Grew. She slowly reached down and picked up the katana with her Dragon claws, looked it over before walking to him dragging the blade on the ground slightly to make sure he heard her coming. as he laid there on the ground she would step on his back with her foot and press into the ground he had more strength than he did not by much but the Regeneration was doing wonders for her. “you get to live today But only for one reason…” and with that she lifted the blade and stabbed into his back into the ground his katana piercing his self small twisting laying down. “I want to see what dark paths you'll go down to get your blade back, and to get your Vengeance on me... maybe then you'll understand why I did what I did today…” She said giving out a sharp yank upward so it would leave a scar. A nice gash in him has slowly started to take over into her full Dragonic form; she didn't have enough Mana to make it last long but she did have enough to get out of town and flee. With that she flew straight up into the sky bursting out of the door Dome leaving the Dome up and the wounded guildmaster in the center of it a small ray of light shining on his body. I shoot straight in the air let out of her wings she let out a strong but distinctive roar, her way of signaling her arguing that it was done, the invasion was over and they would have finished what they were doing and retreat. Today would be a memorable day for everybody mostly for her as she flew off into the distance confident young would follow what was more important to them stopping her. Or potentially saving the life of their Guild Master. If the skill was about family she knew the answer because she knew what she would do in their situation. and with that she would leave Magnolia, Speck in the distance to her as she flew up into the sky she had her prize and she had her goal done. Hopefully the rest of the guild did what they needed to do as well, she couldn't be prouder of them.

Elysium vs Fairy Tail - Page 2 Empty Re: Elysium vs Fairy Tail

Post by Akeya 26th April 2021, 11:53 am

Akeya narrowed her eyes as Malignus spoke about his reasons for being here. "Dragons have no use for royalty. Only fools believe otherwise." Dragons weren't like the mortals, weak and needing to flock around leaders to compensate for their individual shortcomings. Each dragon was a ruler in their own right, overseeing their domain with as much mercy or ruthlessness as they desired. Akeya had no desire to rule, personally, but that didn't mean she'd acknowledge any other dragon as her superior. So far as she was concerned to be a dragon was to always vie for supremacy, the same way that humans would never stop expanding their reach so long as there was space to expand into.

So not only was this fire dragon entering her territory along with a bunch of other dragons, but he was simple-minded enough to mouth off about royalty. Maybe she would be better off just wiping them all out instead of negotiating a retreat. Akeya was considering what to do next when a glow enveloped her prisoner, along with all other dragons within her sensory reach. From the looks of it, the spell that had brought them here was running out and had a return feature built-in. Most likely the dragons here were merely lifelike manifestations of their true selves, which would allow the summoner to use this spell in areas where actual portals would be blocked. Whether the automatic return at the end of the spell was an advantage or not depended on the circumstances, but right now it meant that Fairy Tail couldn't permanently get rid of these invaders.

"Next time you get in my way I might not bother to try and bind you, so make sure our next meeting is on better terms." There wasn't anything Akeya could do to prevent Malignus's retreat, since in a way he wasn't even here. Rather than spending her energy on futile efforts she dismissed the binding spell even as the fire dragon disappeared, leaving the twilight dragoness alone. However there was one more thing to take care of: the big dragon who'd been picking a fight with most of the guild at the remains of the guild hall was letting loose a last attack before disappearing along with the other dragons.

Akeya spun around and dashed to the nearest shadow, her appearance returning to that of the human Akemi. Now that she was no longer negotiating with any dragons it would be better to disguise her true nature. Once she entered the shadow she disappeared, reappearing on top of one of the rooftops in the part of the city that the dragon was aiming at with his breath attack. The city had already sustained enough damage: Fairy Tail needed to save some face. If the guild lost all public support things would become difficult for Akemi as well.

Letting shadows envelop her arm once more and form a vicious looking claw Akemi held that claw up towards the dragon and the breath attack that was heading for her location at a speed where any civilian probably wouldn't have any time to react. She didn't usually apply her magic like this, but a barrier wouldn't be sufficient for what was coming her way.

    'Abyssal Maw'

All around Akemi shadows left their surfaces to reach up into the sky, swirling around her arm and shooting outwards towards the approaching blast. For those who had the time to see they might note that the mass of dark looked a lot like a fang-riddled vortex.

Where dark met breath the dragon's blast would get devoured, the Abyssal Maw soon covering the entire blast and consuming it. Closing her claw Akemi felt the magic that had gone into the blast flow back into her as her own magic did its work. Of course the truth was that Abyssal Maw contained something more than just normal dark magic, but it was better to keep up appearances. Taking a deep breath she released the spell, the consuming dark vortex dispersing and the shadows returning to their origins while the dark mage relaxed.

    Now, for the next part...

By this point there weren't any enemies left in the city so far as she could tell, and the dome around the cathedral was gone. Stepping into the shadow of the chimney she'd used to end up on the rooftops Akemi shifted again, this time ending up next to the incapacitated Mura.

"...Surprising." Akemi's response to Mura's state was remarkably flat. If Mura had lost to someone who called themselves the dragon queen she would have expected claw and bite marks, along with whatever elements the dragon might control. Instead it looked like Mura's biggest injury was from a blade, although there was traces of a mixture of shadow and poison. This supposed queen looked like she was the nasty type.

"Let's hope we've got good healers at the guild." Kneeling down next to Mura Akemi placed her claw on the fallen man's back, frowning as she concentrated. The magic used by the queen had a vile nature to it... Akemi would have hesitated in eating it if it wasn't for the fact that she wasn't your usual slayer. Asserting her control over the dark element found in the mana she purified Mura's body, absorbing the mana and making it her own.

Next... well, she wasn't going to heal him all the way, but she could at least make sure he wouldn't bleed out from that blade wound. Unfortunately, she couldn't do that with dark magic alone. Nobody else had entered the remnants of the cathedral yet, but she'd have to work quickly. Hiding the wound with her claw she infused the tissue around the wound with light and dark. Once fully saturated she pulled the two elements together and combined them into twilight, the tissue also reconnecting and mending itself in response.

"That should keep you going until an actual healer can look at you."

Elysium vs Fairy Tail - Page 2 Empty Re: Elysium vs Fairy Tail

Post by Mura Kensho 29th May 2021, 1:34 pm

    He hated this.

Here he was, seeing his prized Harusame connect to its target and slicing through Janet’s torso with all of his might, a fatal blow to end the battle to the death between the Warlord of Elysium and the Guildmaster of Fairy Tail. When focusing on the battle itself, victory was sure to be obtained by Mura, and so he should be relieved that his magical prowess didn’t pale in comparison to hers… and yet, just look around him.

Kardia Cathedral was in ruins. It would take a long time to rebuild the ancient monument of Magnolia… and even from the entrance, he could spot the gigantic behemoth seated just where his guild hall was supposed to be. Was this… a part of her plan to distract him?

Just how much damage had the town taken? How many people had been hurt or maimed? Had they succeeded thoroughly in defending their fellow citizens, or…

Urrghh, this growing fear built up inside of him and transitioned into pure anger. The most random bitch with the most random guild of country-widely wanted fuckheads just ruined a looooong span of time into the future for Magnolia and for Fairy Tail, all for whatever that raven-haired bimbo was blabbering about concerning her ‘who fucking cares’ dragon heritage. That mouthful, pretentious c*nt was dying right by his feet, and he would see to it that she passed away for good. Even with a sore arm, Mura held Harusame up to slice her head off; she asked to be executed by orchestrating all of this, and the head of any Council-labeled Warlord was proof of Fairy Tail’s strength, just like the withering of Savage Skull and Basilisk Fang were past conflictions that they overcame and held as badges on their chests. Surely, no future Warlord would ever step foot into Magnolia after this…

Time was heavily slowed down during his downward slash. As he thought, whatever mana she had left was trying to heal her wounds; didn’t matter, her head was going to roll in a momen- where was she?

He didn’t even blink, and there he stood with his hands swung low, but without the handle of Harusame held by them. Janet, too, had disappeared out of nowhere, right in front of him – and there, she manifested again, revealing to still possess more mana than he judged. She tricked him! In a flash, he was hit point-black by her roar spell, such a classic example of Magic taught or inherited from Dragons. Without Harusame in his hands, he had only the embers of his previous spell to conjure a barrier, but it broke… and it almost broke him.

… Why… why was he on the ground, now? He had her, he beat her, he was ready to bring her head back to the guild and help the others beat back the remaining assaulters. So why was he lying on the ground, nigh helpless and on the receiving end?!?

He could hear Harusame scraping against the ground, coming closer to him…

“M-Mura, your Magic’s running ou-…” Kyuken gasped before being forcefully extracted from Mura’s body, ending the Spirit Union spell and turning the shaman’s eyes back from silver-white to honey-brown. He was… no, noooo…

Why was he so weakened now? It didn’t make any sense… had nothing changed? Despite his state, it was as if the past laughed at his face, causing his eyes to widen like a madman’s. Stand up. Rise up and kill her.

    Don’t… DON’T DIE AGAIN!!!!!!

His veins were almost pushing out of his skin as he tried to push himself up. But the metallic blade crushing through his back was none other than his own Harusame, in the hands of a sworn enemy. How dared she… he… he wouldn’t end this way… he wasn’t going to die this way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EVERYONE IS WAITING FOR YOU, MURA!!! COME BACK UP, DESTROY HER, AND RETURN TO THE GUILD HALL AND GATHER EVERYONE LEFT!!! DON’T LET IT END THIS WAY!!!

YOU THINK YOUR PREDECESSORS AREN’T WATCHING?!?! KANIX WON’T FORGIVE YOU IF YOU DIE LIKE THIS!!! YOU’VE BEEN AT THE DYING END OF AN ABOMINATION LIKE HER BEFORE, SO WHAT’S THE MATTER?!?! HEERO WON’T APPROVE OF THIS, THIS ISN’T THE MURA HE BROUGHT INTO THE GUILD!!!

AND… a-and… Sorano… your sis might shed another tear for you again…

His pained groans resonated across the torn walls of the Cathedral still, while Janet dared him to enact vengeance for what she had done… she was planning to leave with his katana. Just like that… just like that, he lost.

He was still breathing, but for a brief instance, he couldn’t bear this. It was too much for him… she had even struck a serious part of his back, cutting off a myriad of nerves limiting his movement. Even Hades’ magic couldn’t patch him up if he was low on mana, so for all that he could muster up in his mind, he was likely going to die again… to another bitch Warlord like her.

Why did she flee, though… had… had the worst really happened? Not only was he dying, but his precious nest of wizards… were they on the brink of death too?

    Please, don’t die, Fairy Tail…
