CELESTIAL WINTER MAGIC

Before he was born, Tetsuo’s father fell in love with a young maiden who had mysteriously arrived in his father’s village. The young woman was beautiful and kind, and she immediately caught the attention of the young Lord. Tetsuo’s father did everything in his power to court hear, and after a long courtship the two laid together at the beach as the sun set. A couple of month later the maiden would give birth to a young baby boy, one with small antler like horns protruding from his forehead. When the boy became one, the mother would mysteriously vanish after revealing her true nature. The boy was Tetsuo, and he was the son of a noble lord and the goddess of winter and ice. She had left him in the care of his father and return to the high heavens to be with others of her kind. Tetsuo was left in the care of his father, who would remarry and have more children, and cruelly neglected Tetsuo’s claim as his firstborn son and heir. As the son of the winter goddesses, Tetsuo would inherit much of his mother's power, and would be viewed in the eye of his father as nothing more than a lazy son. Besides being slightly stronger, and possessing enhance senses and a longer life. Tetsuo has inherited the power of his mother, being able to control and manipulate the forces of winter. With this ancient magic, Tetsuo can generate frigid arctic winds that can freeze anything in its path, and create devastating blizzards and ice storms that can alter the environment of the surrounding area. Rumor has it that this magic possess the raw power to plunge an entire island into a winter wonder land, and even freeze an entire island or ocean with a simple touch. Tetsuo can also create and generate gigantic ice structures similar to ice-maker magic. Tetsuo often use this magic in liken to a combination of two element arts that were commonly practiced in his home country, and these two element arts are the ‘art of wind’ and the ‘art of earth’. Following the art of the wind concept of fighting style, Tetsuo has been known to use the winter and cold air aspect of this magic in a similar manner to the wind arts, and similar wind magics. Whereas, using the art of the earth concept fighting style, Tetsu uses the ice making aspect portion of this magic in a similar manner to the earth arts, and similar earth magics. In whatever method he uses this magic, all spells come from him Tetsuo and therefore must travel from him to a target location, and when using his spells Tetsuo turns slightly into ice.
Absolute Freeze- Every time an opponent is struck by an ice spell their body’s temperature is rapidly decrease, and after being struck a certain amount of times a target can be frozen solid in a block of ice. After being struck four times by a basic ice spell, or three times being struck by two basic ice spells and an advance spell; the opponent would become frozen solid, immobilizing them for one post. Likewise, the ice created by this magic is extremely cold and it is dangerous for slayers to consume; this is primary due to the primordial nature or source of this magic. Tetsuo’s mother is the primordial embodiment of nature, cold as a goddess due man’s inability to understand her nature. Therefore, slayers cannot consume the ice created by this magic.
Frostbite- Another consequence to being struck by this ice magic multiple times and allowing the body’s temperature to drop rapidly is the development of frostbite. After being struck four times by a basic ice spell, or three times being struck by two basic ice spells and an advance spell; the opponent would develop a painful case of frostbite. Frostbite itself is extremely painful and uncomfortable, and it would cause the opponent to suffer from a 5% health burn for 6 – posts. Furthermore, the coldness of the arctic winds and ice spells created by this magic is stronger than most magics, meaning that spell damage is increased by 55%. This buff increases as the user ranks up, capping at S-rank.

Description: An offensive technique that involves columns of ice to rise from the ground to ram into an opponent, the user can also sharpen the tips of these ice pillars to pierce through defenses. Tetsu would freeze the air around an appendage of his chosen, either an arm or foot, and then touch the ground with said appendage. He would then freeze a foot-wide path of ice on the ground, that would be rushed forward towards an opponent. The ice path would then suddenly stop once it reaches halfway to the opponent, and then the pillars would erupt form the chosen path. For clarification, the ice path would be 75 meters long and about as wide as his foot, and the ice pillar would also be 75 meters long however, each pillar is about 5 meters in diameter. The user can create multiple ice paths and pillars, each of which would branch out from under him. Take note that these pillars can be sharpened and be used to pierce through shielding and armor, however, doing so would reduce the damage by 50%. Furthermore, the pillars are not destroyed upon creation, but they would shatter on Tetsu's next turn. Therefore, as a plot ability, these pillars can be used as an rampart of sorts; if allowed the pillars can remain permanently until destroyed by an outside source.
