Juliet possessed absolutely no understanding of the events which had brought her into this position. Perhaps it was more apt to call it a predicament. After inadvertently stepping through a magical gate, which had materialized with no apparent rhyme or reason in front of her very suddenly, Juliet was transported from Magnolia Town to this unknown location. As she reconsidered the events which had brought her here, the requip mage cursed again her inability to stay focused on her surroundings when lost in thoughts about her most recent mission. However, there was no value to be had from lingering on her past mistakes at this moment. Even if she could garner some knowledge of how to improve herself from pouring over those faults, now was the time to first escape from the situation.

Stepping carefully over what could have been the bones of a human (Juliet did not examine them too closely) the mage proceeded to move forward. Though she was likely nowhere near the same position has before, on the map, there had to be a vantage point from which she could view more of the land surrounding herself. As she was moving along, though, her foot suddenly stepped on what felt like a thin piece of bark, emitting a loud crunch. Almost against her will, Juliet glanced down, only to find that she had in fact accidentally walked on a scroll of parchment. Lifting up her boot, she gingerly picked it up. Matted with dirt and what could have been blood, the girl was loath to touch such a thing, but she gave no indication of that as she unraveled it in a businesslike fashion. Written on the aged paper were foreign words; though they seemed to be written in western letters, the language was utterly undecipherable. Juliet re rolled it up before suddenly, a tug came at the forefront of her mind, almost as if someone were pulling on her magic there. Her brow creased, and she batted away the air in front of her forehead, feeling crazy.

Then, all at once, memories flooded her mind. Thoughts of a beautiful woman, with long, evergreen colored locks and a dress meant for something like a gala or wedding. Being white, though, she supposed that dress would only have worked at a wedding as a bride, stealing all the attention otherwise. At her side had been... an angel? Juliet brooded over these newfound experiences which she had apparently forgotten. When had all of this happened? As much as she wracked her mind, it kept hovering over one fact, somehow mysteriously revealed at some point during the otherwise blurry interaction. The teenage angel had been sent flying away in a bright beam of golden light. Now, Juliet did not know much about angels, but she felt certain they were not supposed to fly like that, without using wings and going backwards. Next, she had a sudden urge to sign a contract- particularly, the one in her hand. Unrolling it again revealed perfectly legible fields demanding... what seemed to be mostly personal information. As if she were under a trance, Juliet picked up a feather quill pen (Wherever had that come from?) and began to slowly fill in every single blank. Once she was done and signed her name at the bottom, the scroll flicked itself up into a tight wrap and vanished in a blink. A second later, a folded square of fabric and something heavy fell on Juliet's head, obscuring her eyesight.

Only a split second later, by the time she had pulled it away from her vision, she found herself standing in the middle of Magnolia Town, the same place she had disappeared, holding a silky toga in one hand and a pair of angel wings in the other.
