    DEMIURGE OF PRIMAL MATTER

    Magic Name: Demiurge of Primal Matter

    Magic Item: Primal Matter
    Description: The Demiurge is a power acquired from one of Beira’s souls, the Deva, which grants her the ability to control creative power. The only problem is that she is not actually a Deva; she merely possesses the soul of one, which makes her ability to use this creation magic quite problematic. During an unexpected trip to her homeland Utgardr, after thousands of years, she came in contact with an interesting substance referred to as Primal Matter (Prima Materia, building blocks of creation, whatever you want to call it) whose makings are a secret that died with the Utgardians. In any case, primal matter was common in Utgardr back in the day, and was mostly used to make a lot of solid, durable substances, mostly bricks for building, and was considered little more than a very good building material. However, with Beira’s ability to manipulate creation energy, she can alter the physical and chemical properties of the primal matter with her, allowing her a lot of versatility with this magic, far beyond the original uses of this wonderful substance. Using the primal matter as a focus, she can even extend her magic to affect the physical and chemical properties of other substances, altering their properties, and even transmogrifying them, in some radical cases. For ease of manipulation, Beira carries the primal matter shaped as a potion bag, replete with reagents called “essences”, which she uses to work her magic. While there are many components in the potion bag, she has the ones she uses most of the time close at hand in her belt, so that she can easily reach them. Using the primal matter, Beira cannot create matter, but can alter it, and in some cases, make it appear as though she is actually creating matter. Her usage of this magic is mostly through the creation of structures from primal matter, telekinetic control of matter, alteration of normal matter into primal matter, and modification of properties and states of matter.
    Trivia: Most of the spells of this magic are inspired by the elements, para-elements and quasi-elements of Dungeons and Dragons.

    Unique Abilities:

    • Essence of Crystallization: Beira’s control over the solid aspect of the physical plane grants her a deep understanding of the construction of things. This makes all her constructions more durable, providing Beira a passive 60% boost to spell durability. Control over the rigidity of solids makes Beira very healthy and resistant to damage, allowing her a 5% regen to HP every post.
    • Essence of Distillation: Beira’s control over the liquid aspect of the physical plane grants her a deep understanding of the empty spaces between things. This makes her less corporeal magics more pervasive, providing Beira a passive 60% boost to spell healing. Also, mastery over the fluidity of liquid allows Beira to possess a rather slippery mind, making her able to avoid attempts to read her mind, memories and intentions in any way, even when she is unconscious of attempts to do so.
    • Essence of Vaporization: Beira’s control over the gaseous aspect of the physical plane grants her a deep understanding of the rates of diffusion of substances. This makes her more potent in manipulating the kinetics of her magic, granting Beira a passive 60% boost to spell range.  Power over the intangibility of gases also affords Beira an advantage against intangible machinations, making her resistant to illusions and deceptive effects (plot ability; does not affect damage or effects caused by illusions), and she can negate a single illusion of up to S-rank per post, provided she pays the base MP used to cast it.

      Plot Ability: Beira can transform matter, including corpses and items (PCs and PC-controlled/important NPCs are exempt, unless express OOC permission is received) into primal matter, allowing her no shortage of supply of this prized product.

    Description: By mixing the essences of Earth and Water, Beira creates a viscuous slime of transparent, sticky, corrosive goo about half the size of this spell’s range. She can control this goo within the spell range to ensnare opponents, who will suffer corrosive damage of 40 HP every post for 5 posts. Beira is immune to this spell, as are those she deems her allies. When unmoving, the slime takes a cubic form with rounded edges.
    Plot Ability: Enemies engulfed in the slime and killed by it (does not pertain to PCs and PC-controlled/important NPCs, unless express OOC permission is given) have everything soft and organic about them digested in surprisingly short time, leaving the ooze with their skeletons and hard inorganic items in it. Beira can choose to create another slime, but she will be unable to control the one that serves as an enemy’s grave, though she may choose to dispel it, or leave it as it is, in which case it lasts about 12 hours before subliming, leaving the remains behind.

    Description: Beira combines the essences of Air and Water, to form a great jagged shard of ice, which she may use to smite an enemy, or hurl it at them over a long distance. If struck by the ice shard, one gets frozen in place and is immobilized for a post, suffering a 65% reduction to speed afterwards, for the spell’s duration. Immobilization can only occur once every other post, and targets must be hit by this spell again to be immobilized once more. Note that this, for all intents and purposes, is pure elemental ice and can be eaten by Ice Slayers.

Also, they suffer a 65% debuff to spell healing, as their poisoning makes it difficult to perform any sort of healing. Note that this, for all intents and purposes, is pure elemental poison and can be eaten by Poison Slayers.

Even creatures that do not require moisture will lose their vitality, and feel thirst, even if they had never felt it before. Along with the vitality drain, victims suffer a debuff of 65% to spell damage, due to their thirst affliction.

It reduces visibility as well, thus debuffing speed by 65%, and like the dust that it is, can slip past defenses, creating cracks in said defenses and pouring through, although it loses 50% of its damage when doing so.

Struck targets receive a drain to their MP by 5% and a 65% debuff to speed, caused by the lightning stunning them and jamming up their synapses. Note that this, for all intents and purposes, is pure elemental lightning and can be eaten by Lightning Slayers.

    Description: By mixing the essences of Earth and Positive, Beira creates an orb (hemisphere if she’s standing on the ground) that seems to be made of bronze, although the inside surface is surprisingly soft, making it a perfect candidate spell for breaking a fall. The orb also serves as a shield, and those within it receive a 70% strength buff and 5% HP regen for the spell’s duration. Beira can control the size of the orb, though its maximum limit is the range of the spell. Note that this, for all intents and purposes, is pure elemental metal and can be eaten by Metal Slayers.

Note that this, for all intents and purposes, is pure elemental darkness and can be eaten by Shadow Slayers.

Note that this, for all intents and purposes, is pure elemental light and can be eaten by White Slayers.

    Description: Beira creates a fusion of Positive and Negative essences, creating a strange grey substance that seems to phase between all four states of matter. It explodes outwards from Beira, devastating the environment as well as her enemies; her friends are spared the damage of this strange substance. Those who have touched it mention that it felt like they were being cut and crushed all at once, burnt and frozen at the same time. They also feel their vitality draining away, which is the result of a 5% drain to HP for the spell's duration.

    Description: Combining the essences of Air, Positive and Negative, Beira creates a compact ball of wind in front of her open palm, whose size she can manipulate from a little bigger than her fist to almost the diameter of her spell’s range. This ball of wind deals pure concussive energy to anything it comes in contact with, packing a rather strong punch for a spell of its rank. Note that this, for all intents and purposes, is pure elemental wind and can be eaten by Sky Slayers.

    Aspect of Cosmic Earth: Mountain of Adamant

    Description: By mixing the essences of Earth, Positive and Negative, Beira creates a construct of earth, rock or any stone material, even diamond. Its structure can be as simple as a mound, and as complex as a castle. What matters is that whatever is within the earth structure that Beira considers an ally receives a 90% buff to strength. Also, the structure is a sturdy shield, which is its selling point, and although it can be pierced by piercing spells, even ethereal enemies cannot slip into its confines without destroying it. Note that this, for all intents and purposes, is pure elemental earth and can be eaten by Earth Slayers.

    Aspect of Cosmic Water: Infinite Sea

As it is a shield of water, and water is not solid, it is weaker than the average shield, although it frustrates attempts to punch through it with piercing effects. Note that this, for all intents and purposes, is pure elemental water and can be eaten by Water Slayers.

    Aspect of Cosmic Fire: Absolute Inferno

    Description: Mixing the essences of Fire, Positive and Negative, Beira conjures a very destructive flame, capable of burning almost anything, even magic. It cannot be doused by normal water, and burns a bright golden color. Beira can send the fire at targets in streams and sheets of flame, as long as they are within the spell’s range. The power of this flame is so great that it will burn through defenses, although its damage is halved when this happens. The powr of this fire also shows in its ability to burn the MP of a victim, inflicting a 5% MP drain for the spell's duration. Beira can also burn spells, and effects on targets (the flame turns a bright blue when this happens). To burn a spell or its effect, the spell must be the same rank of the Absolute Inferno or lower, Beira must pay the base MP used to cast the spell or its effect, and it can only be used like this once per post. Note that this, for all intents and purposes, is pure elemental fire and can be eaten by Fire Slayers.

    Harmonic Convergence: Fruit of Life

    Description: Beira combines all the elemental essences of her potion bag, and creates any food item she desires, in whatever quantity, as long as this is within the range limit of this spell. Eating the food will heal a target for 270 HP, although no matter how much or how little you eat, the healing amount is the same, unless Beira casts the spell again to heal a target further. Eating this food also causes HP regeneration of 5% per post for the duration of the spell.

    Harmonic Convergence: Reality’s Edge

    Description: Combining all her elemental essences, Beira creates a spherical field round herself, which looks like an iridescent orb with rapidly changing colors. Reality is distorted within this field, and as it seeks to alter Beira’s foes to their hurt, they receive 157 HP damage every post for 5 posts, once they have been affected by Reality’s Edge. Once every post, Beira can alter the reality of a spell or effect, effectively erasing it from existence, as long as it is a H+ rank or below spell and she pays the base MP cost of the spell.

    Description: Beira has a constant zone of primal matter whose particles are so fine that they are invisible, creating an imperceptible field reaching up to 100 meters. Within this field, she can attempt to telekinetically strike her opponents from afar with melee attacks, each ‘strike’ manifesting as a readily visible ripple of air which darts from her towards her target.
    Plot Ability: This signature spell is actually much more versatile than it appears. Within Beira’s field, she can manipulate movement of matter using her will, although she cannot change its form or properties as when she uses her essences, allowing her to move the matter without touching it. She can use this spell to do anything she can with her body, albeit at long distances, without having to touch the matter, and often uses this spell to aid a number of mundane tasks from comfortable distances. Anything under the effects of this spell has a shimmering aura around it. PCs and PC-controlled/important NPCs cannot be moved by this spell without proper OOC permission, though they can be attacked by it.

    Metamorphosis

    Description: Beira’s control of the primal matter has even allowed her to be able to manipulate the properties of her own matter. This allows her a passive 50% reduction to physical damage.
    Plot Ability: Using this spell, Beira can perform changes to herself ranging from simple e.g. changing her hairstyle, or rapidly drying herself and her clothes, to much more complex things like transforming into something or someone else (this is pure transformation, not an illusion, and dispelling magic won’t solve it, though she will definitely not get the memories and tics of whomever she transformed into). Of course, this means Beira can perform cosmetic changes like changing complexion, hair and eye color, clothes, etc. Performing this effect on others is a more tacky engagement, though with the aid of another spell, it can be done. Note that PCs and PC-controlled/important NPCs cannot be metamorphosed without proper OOC approval.

    Chaotic Dissonance: Shaky Shaky Boom Boom

    Description: Beira mixes two or more curious essences from her potion bag to produce a volatile substance, which she may throw in its vial at a target, or attempt to spill it at the target. Whatever the case, the result is a lovely explosion whose color, sound output and power vary, usually according to Beira’s intentions. Beira is mostly immune to the explosion’s effects, but it has the bad habit of not distinguishing between friend and foe. Fortunately, Beira’s mixings don’t appear so random, for she can control the size of the explosion from just a mere centimeters in diameter to its full range of 100 meters.
    Plot Ability: There is something more disturbing about this spell, as Beira can use it, in tandem with her Metamorphosis spell, to polymorph targets. PCs and PC-controlled/important NPCs cannot be polymorphed without proper OOC consent. Polymorphism may be temporary or permanent, with permanent polymorphism of a living being practically being equal to death. Targets can be polymorphed into other people, or animals, objects or all sorts of otherworldly and bizarre things, or simply have a few attributes of theirs change, such as color, smell, etc. Curiously, Beira often feigns ignorance over controlling the effects of this spell, but she’s probably just being dramatic.

Her usage of this magic is mostly through the creation of structures from primal matter, telekinetic control of matter, alteration of normal matter into primal matter, and modification of properties and states of matter.

    Unique Abilities:

    • Essence of Crystallization: Beira’s control over the solid aspect of the physical plane grants her a deep understanding of the construction of things. This makes all her constructions more durable, providing Beira a passive 60% boost to spell durability. Control over the rigidity of solids makes Beira very healthy and resistant to damage, allowing her a 5% regen to HP every post.
    • Essence of Distillation: Beira’s control over the liquid aspect of the physical plane grants her a deep understanding of the empty spaces between things. This makes her less corporeal magics more pervasive, providing Beira a passive 60% boost to spell healing. Also, mastery over the fluidity of liquid allows Beira to possess a rather slippery mind, making her able to avoid attempts to read her mind, memories and intentions in any way, even when she is unconscious of attempts to do so.
    • Essence of Vaporization: Beira’s control over the gaseous aspect of the physical plane grants her a deep understanding of the rates of diffusion of substances. This makes her more potent in manipulating the kinetics of her magic, granting Beira a passive 60% boost to spell speed and range [Spell speed and spell range are separate stats. Please either pick one or split the 60% between the two.] .  Power over the intangibility of gases also affords Beira an advantage against intangible machinations, making her resistant to illusions and deceptive effects [Since this is a plot ability, please state that this doesn't affect damage or effects of such spells or abilities.] , and she can negate a single illusion of up to S-rank per post, provided she pays the base MP used to cast it.

      Plot Ability: Beira can transform matter, including corpses and items (PCs and PC-controlled/important NPCs are exempt, unless express OOC permission is received) into primal matter, allowing her no shortage of supply of this prized product.

    Description: By mixing the essences of Earth and Water, Beira creates a viscuous slime of transparent, sticky, corrosive goo about half the size of this spell’s range. She can control this goo within the spell range to ensnare opponents, who will suffer corrosive damage of 40 HP every post for 5 posts. Beira is immune to this spell, as are those she deems her allies. When unmoving, the slime takes a cubic form with rounded edges.
    Plot Ability: Enemies engulfed in the slime and killed by it (does not pertain to PCs and PC-controlled/important NPCs, unless express OOC permission is given) have everything soft and organic about them digested in surprisingly short time, leaving the ooze with their skeletons and hard inorganic items in it. Beira can choose to create another slime, but she will be unable to control the one that serves as an enemy’s grave, though she may choose to dispel it, or leave it as it is, in which case it lasts about 12 hours before subliming, leaving the remains behind.

    Description: Beira creates a fusion of Positive and Negative essences, creating a strange grey substance that seems to phase between all four states of matter. It explodes outwards from Beira, devastating the environment as well as her enemies; her friends are spared the damage of this strange substance. Those who have touched it mention that it felt like they were being cut and crushed all at once, burnt and frozen at the same time.

The power of this flame is so great that it will burn through defenses, although its damage is halved when this happens. Beira can also burn spells, and effects on targets (the flame turns a bright blue when this happens). To burn a spell or its effect, the spell must be the same rank of the Absolute Inferno or lower, Beira must pay the base MP used to cast the spell or its effect, and it can only be used like this once per post. Note that this, for all intents and purposes, is pure elemental fire and can be eaten by Fire Slayers. [This isn't really an edit, but you have Debuff listed under type, but I don't see a debuff. Once every post, Beira can alter the reality of a spell or effect, effectively erasing it from existence, as long as it is a H+ rank or below spell and she pays the base MP cost of the spell.

    Plot Ability: This signature spell is actually much more versatile than it appears. Within Beira’s field, she can manipulate movement of matter using her will, although she cannot change its form or properties as when she uses her essences, allowing her to move the matter without touching it. She can use this spell to do anything she can with her body, albeit at long distances, without having to touch the matter, and often uses this spell to aid a number of mundane tasks from comfortable distances. Anything under the effects of this spell has a shimmering aura around it. PCs and PC-controlled/important NPCs cannot be moved by this spell without proper OOC permission, though they can be attacked by it.

    Metamorphosis

    Description: Beira’s control of the primal matter has even allowed her to be able to manipulate the properties of her own matter. This allows her a passive 50% reduction to physical damage.
    Plot Ability: Using this spell, Beira can perform changes to herself ranging from simple e.g. changing her hairstyle, or rapidly drying herself and her clothes, to much more complex things like transforming into something or someone else (this is pure transformation, not an illusion, and dispelling magic won’t solve it, though she will definitely not get the memories and tics of whomever she transformed into). Of course, this means Beira can perform cosmetic changes like changing complexion, hair and eye color, clothes, etc. Performing this effect on others is a more tacky engagement, though with the aid of another spell, it can be done. Note that PCs and PC-controlled/important NPCs cannot be metamorphosed without proper OOC approval.

    Chaotic Dissonance: Shaky Shaky Boom Boom

    Description: Beira mixes two or more curious essences from her potion bag to produce a volatile substance, which she may throw in its vial at a target, or attempt to spill it at the target. Whatever the case, the result is a lovely explosion whose color, sound output and power vary, usually according to Beira’s intentions. Beira is mostly immune to the explosion’s effects, but it has the bad habit of not distinguishing between friend and foe. Fortunately, Beira’s mixings don’t appear so random, for she can control the size of the explosion from just a mere centimeters in diameter to its full range of 100 meters.
    Plot Ability: There is something more disturbing about this spell, as Beira can use it, in tandem with her Metamorphosis spell, to polymorph targets. PCs and PC-controlled/important NPCs cannot be polymorphed without proper OOC consent. Polymorphism may be temporary or permanent, with permanent polymorphism of a living being practically being equal to death. Targets can be polymorphed into other people, or animals, objects or all sorts of otherworldly and bizarre things, or simply have a few attributes of theirs change, such as color, smell, etc. Curiously, Beira often feigns ignorance over controlling the effects of this spell, but she’s probably just being dramatic.

    • Essence of Distillation: Beira’s control over the liquid aspect of the physical plane grants her a deep understanding of the empty spaces between things. This makes her less corporeal magics more pervasive, providing Beira a passive 60% boost to spell healing. Also, mastery over the fluidity of liquid allows Beira to possess a rather slippery mind, making her able to avoid attempts to read her mind, memories and intentions in any way, even when she is unconscious of attempts to do so.
    • Essence of Vaporization: Beira’s control over the gaseous aspect of the physical plane grants her a deep understanding of the rates of diffusion of substances. This makes her more potent in manipulating the kinetics of her magic, granting Beira a passive 60% boost to spell range.  Power over the intangibility of gases also affords Beira an advantage against intangible machinations, making her resistant to illusions and deceptive effects (plot ability; does not affect damage or effects caused by illusions), and she can negate a single illusion of up to S-rank per post, provided she pays the base MP used to cast it.

      Plot Ability: Beira can transform matter, including corpses and items (PCs and PC-controlled/important NPCs are exempt, unless express OOC permission is received) into primal matter, allowing her no shortage of supply of this prized product.

Beira is immune to this spell, as are those she deems her allies. When unmoving, the slime takes a cubic form with rounded edges.
    Plot Ability: Enemies engulfed in the slime and killed by it (does not pertain to PCs and PC-controlled/important NPCs, unless express OOC permission is given) have everything soft and organic about them digested in surprisingly short time, leaving the ooze with their skeletons and hard inorganic items in it. Beira can choose to create another slime, but she will be unable to control the one that serves as an enemy’s grave, though she may choose to dispel it, or leave it as it is, in which case it lasts about 12 hours before subliming, leaving the remains behind.

It cannot be doused by normal water, and burns a bright golden color. Beira can send the fire at targets in streams and sheets of flame, as long as they are within the spell’s range. The power of this flame is so great that it will burn through defenses, although its damage is halved when this happens. The powr of this fire also shows in its ability to burn the MP of a victim, inflicting a 5% MP drain for the spell's duration. Beira can also burn spells, and effects on targets (the flame turns a bright blue when this happens). To burn a spell or its effect, the spell must be the same rank of the Absolute Inferno or lower, Beira must pay the base MP used to cast the spell or its effect, and it can only be used like this once per post. Note that this, for all intents and purposes, is pure elemental fire and can be eaten by Fire Slayers.

Eating this food also causes HP regeneration of 5% per post for the duration of the spell.

Reality is distorted within this field, and as it seeks to alter Beira’s foes to their hurt, they receive 157 HP damage every post for 5 posts, once they have been affected by Reality’s Edge. Once every post, Beira can alter the reality of a spell or effect, effectively erasing it from existence, as long as it is a H+ rank or below spell and she pays the base MP cost of the spell.

    Description: Beira has a constant zone of primal matter whose particles are so fine that they are invisible, creating an imperceptible field reaching up to 100 meters. Within this field, she can attempt to telekinetically strike her opponents from afar with melee attacks, each ‘strike’ manifesting as a readily visible ripple of air which darts from her towards her target.
    Plot Ability: This signature spell is actually much more versatile than it appears. Within Beira’s field, she can manipulate movement of matter using her will, although she cannot change its form or properties as when she uses her essences, allowing her to move the matter without touching it. She can use this spell to do anything she can with her body, albeit at long distances, without having to touch the matter, and often uses this spell to aid a number of mundane tasks from comfortable distances. Anything under the effects of this spell has a shimmering aura around it. PCs and PC-controlled/important NPCs cannot be moved by this spell without proper OOC permission, though they can be attacked by it.

    Description: Beira’s control of the primal matter has even allowed her to be able to manipulate the properties of her own matter. This allows her a passive 50% reduction to physical damage.
    Plot Ability: Using this spell, Beira can perform changes to herself ranging from simple e.g. changing her hairstyle, or rapidly drying herself and her clothes, to much more complex things like transforming into something or someone else (this is pure transformation, not an illusion, and dispelling magic won’t solve it, though she will definitely not get the memories and tics of whomever she transformed into). Of course, this means Beira can perform cosmetic changes like changing complexion, hair and eye color, clothes, etc. Performing this effect on others is a more tacky engagement, though with the aid of another spell, it can be done. Note that PCs and PC-controlled/important NPCs cannot be metamorphosed without proper OOC approval.

    Description: Beira mixes two or more curious essences from her potion bag to produce a volatile substance, which she may throw in its vial at a target, or attempt to spill it at the target. Whatever the case, the result is a lovely explosion whose color, sound output and power vary, usually according to Beira’s intentions. Beira is mostly immune to the explosion’s effects, but it has the bad habit of not distinguishing between friend and foe. Fortunately, Beira’s mixings don’t appear so random, for she can control the size of the explosion from just a mere centimeters in diameter to its full range of 100 meters.
    Plot Ability: There is something more disturbing about this spell, as Beira can use it, in tandem with her Metamorphosis spell, to polymorph targets. PCs and PC-controlled/important NPCs cannot be polymorphed without proper OOC consent. Polymorphism may be temporary or permanent, with permanent polymorphism of a living being practically being equal to death. Targets can be polymorphed into other people, or animals, objects or all sorts of otherworldly and bizarre things, or simply have a few attributes of theirs change, such as color, smell, etc. Curiously, Beira often feigns ignorance over controlling the effects of this spell, but she’s probably just being dramatic.
