    Welcome my friend

It was noon when Tomura Momochi arrived at the restaurant. He had made contact with the restaurant a head of time and reserved him a seat beforehand, and honestly he was happy that he did. When he arrived there was a long line leading out the door. Cafe De La Ruree was a popular restaurant within the capital, and a lot of notable or reputable individuals ate here. It was the perfect place to chat among the upper-class and make connections with those rare individuals that Tomura oh so desired to get to know and befriend. Paying for a reservation here was no easy feat, and he had to use a combination of connections and his family's wealth to simply get in; the latter and some jewels he earned by taking some missions would be his method of paying for his food and his guest's food. However, he hoped that he would be able to manipulate the other into paying for his own food, and maybe Tomura's- though that was no doubt unlikely.

There was a glass door that people could use bypass the line, Tomura took it after showing a receipt of sorts to prove that he had reserved a seat. A beautiful red carpet lead him to a podium where a young lady, with blonde hair, and glasses greeted him. After Tomura told her his name and the name of the reservation, she took him to a table away from the others and near a window. It was the perfect place to hold a conversation without distractions, "Tea with no ice please, I have sensitive teeth, and bring out your finest bottles of wine." Tomura would request, after the waiter, a young man with brown hair, nodded and went off to retrieve the beverages.

It was now a waiting game to see if his guest would arrive. Tomura had used the alliance between his guild and fairy tail to send a message to a man known as Louie. He honestly did not know much about the fairy tail mage, but he was curious about him. Connections was all he needed, connections gave him power, connections were everything. When the fairy tail mage would arrive, Tomura would stand up to greet him and pull out his chair for him.

As trashy of a place Fairy Tail was, they served the purpose Louie was seeking. He decided to join their guild as a way of establishing connections he would likely need for his future endeavors and businesses. Surely enough, someone had reached out to him.

Tomura Momochi—a man working for the West Fiore Trading Company. While Louie hadn't ever heard of this "Tomura" character, he had heard of the company he worked under. Who hasn't, after all? It was one of the most expansive and prominent companies Fiore had up their sleeve. Louie might've been arrogant, but he was no fool. He wouldn't say no to an opportunity to work with such an important entity.

When Louie arrived at Cafe De La Ruree, he was alone and dressed rather casually compared to everyone else at the restaurant. A lead, collared V-neck with checkered cuffs and tan slacks to complement it. His entire upper body seemed adorned with golden jewelry; thick, golden bracelets and small, expensive-looking earrings dangling from his lobes of the same color. His cologne was subtle and pleasant, smelling like an indigo sea. Louie's appearance was simple and tasteful, but it was clear that wealth was a part of his lifestyle.

A few minutes after Tomura entered the cafe, Louie followed and headed straight to his reserved seat by the window. When his crimson eyes fixed onto Tomura, he smirked. So that's the man, huh? This better be worth my time. I want to go sailing after this.

Despite the blood in his serpentine eyes and the venom in his head, his visage was notably different from his true character. His lips were perked up in a friendly smile, and his eyes no longer look full of blood and looked like sweet cherries instead. His demeanor consisted of a feigned kindness as he approached Tomura, extending his hand to shake.

"Salut, monsieur! Tomura Momochi, was it?"

    Nice to meet you

It did not take long for his guest to arrive, and as Tomura folded the black fur coat over the back of his chair and looked up Louie was there offering his hand to be shaken. Tomura looked apathetically at the hand offered and took a moment to pause in contemplation. It would be rude if he did not take the hand, but he needed to appear as mannerly as possible when in these situations. For that reason, Tomura took the hand and firmly shook it, merely as a social requirement to appear like a gentleman. He smiled a bit dryly, “Yes, indeed and you are Louie? Nice to meet you, please take a seat, I would like to get to know you before business is conducted” he outstretched a hand towards the seat directly across from him, and sat down himself.

More accurately, Tomura wanted to probe the attractive man that was before him. He wanted to get a feel of his personality, discover how to pull Louie’s strings, and sing to the other’s tune. Tomura did study normal and abnormal psychology, an education he afforded via his father’s wealth. He took off his black gloves, up stuffed them into the sleeves of his slacks as the waiter returned. “Thank you.” Tomura said as the waiter placed two or three bottles of wine and wine glasses at the table, and a glass of tea for Tomura.

“I did not know what your pleasure was, therefore, I had the waiter bring all of his finest beverages.” The waiter went to pour them a glass of one of the wines, but Tomura held his hand over the wine glass. “I do not partake, my tea will do me just fine.”

With a wave of his hand, Tomura dismissed the waiter and turned his full attention onto Louie. He examined his clothing and found it disappointing but did nothing to betray that thought. Louie seemed to appear friendly,  which was a stark contrast to Tomura’s un-amused and apathetic demeanor. His demeanor would slowly change as he gets to know the stranger a bit more, and it would mirror whatever to please Louie and get what he wants. “How were your travels? I surely hope that it wasn’t too unpleasant.”

What was this, a survey? Louie didn't come to here to get to know anyone or to fraternize, so when Tomura had queried about his travels and insisted on getting to know him better, Louie felt his patience begin to vanish like boiling water. Tomura was at least decent enough to prepare an excessive spread of wine for him when he got there, and Louie happily indulged in a red wine he had been eyeing ever since he saw it on the table. Tomura, however, only partook in tea.

The two were seated, and Louie could almost feel Tomura's eyes look him over. Normally, Louie would have demanded or even appreciated the attention, but that unreadable stare of his only made him feel even more impatient. It was in Louie's best interest to hasten things.

"They were fine. Now then, tell me," Louie said briskly, staring into his wine glass, looking at his reflection in the purplish liquid, "what sort of idea did you have in mind when you summoned me here, mister Momochi? I love small talk, but I really am dying to know." he looked up, leaning in with his legs folded over one another. Although he was somewhat of a liar, he was sincere in his curiosity. He hadn't tolerated Fairy Tail's filthy members and guildhall for nothing, has he?

Louie smiled. Those eyes don't match that voice of his. Maybe I'm just crazy, but...

    Nice to meet you

How disappointing, it seems that Louie held the patients of a three-year-old. In his family, it was bad manners to talk about business before dinner, and without manners there was nothing separating civilized society from uncivilized society. Though it would seem that not everyone held his taste for manners, and he could understand that such small talk could be perceived as wasting another’s time. Honestly, Tomura hated small talk as well, he merely engaged in them to appear mannerly and civilized. Well, there was appearing civilized, and the fact that he used small talk to get to know and understand his guest. It seems that he would have to get to know Louie as they discuss business. Oh well, how someone handles business does speak a lot about their personality- let the games.

A firm smile formed across his lips as he watched Louie in mild interest. “There is plenty of time to discuss business my friend, I must admit that I rarely find myself in a suitable presence like yourself. So I must admit that I plan on savoring intelligent conversation, if you do not mind.” He would pause for a moment, and carefully think out his next words. But he frowned again when Louie mentioned that Tomura summoned him here, and the string mage placed his hand over his chest like his heart was hurting. "I am offended, I merely requested that you attend lunch with me to chat about some business, and would never summon someone such as yourself."

He would sigh in a dramatic fashion, or well at least a slight dramatic fashion. "I assume that you like money and power, do you not?"

Suitable, he said. Louie didn't find what he thought was a drawn-out introduction very pleasant, but he had to admit that he was mildly amused with Tomura's theatrics and politeness. But ever since Louie came to this country about a month ago, he hadn't found a single person who paid him the respect he was entitled to or demonstrated the manners expected of anyone of any decency. Tomura, however, had, and the way he carried his words was either mildly attractive or relieving. Watching him, Louie couldn't decide which.

He chuckled quizzically, genuinely tickled by Tomura's dramatic gestures. He sounded and looked like a fool, but the blonde couldn't be upset with him. In fact, he had decided to show some leniency and give him the opportunity to get into his good favor.

"Aha... offended, are you? Pardon me." he laughed through his nostrils, playing with his wine. But the conversation seemed to be driven in the right direction when Tomura finally mentioned money and power, and if his oddly charming character hadn't caught Louie's attention already, the subject of cash and competence surely would. It was the very essence of his livelihood, after all. In fact, it was the very reason why he was here talking to this man at all. His reason for associating himself with trash like Fairy Tail! It was money that drove him to such lengths as he had, and it was money that would fuel his thirst for more. His destiny was a bag of jewels, heavy with the weight of power.

Louie folded his legs over one another. "I do, actually. Do you? Oh, well, that was a moronic question. Who doesn't like money and power?"

    How about a scheme?

“………..” Tomura took a brief moment to determine if the other male’s apology was sincere, but he decided that it was not important and therefore, ignored the apology all together. But it seemed that he was getting somewhere with Louie and that he was slowly singing to his tune.  The waiter came by to ask for their order, Tomura waived him off however, and informed him that they needed more time to chat and figure out what they wanted. While addressing the waiter Tomura spoke mannerly, but with a small note of strictness and genuine indifference towards the younger male.

A small smirk formed across his pale face as he brought the glass of tea to his lips, “Indeed it was bit of a moronic or rhetorical question, but you would be surprise. Some people desire no power or no money, they simply care about smaller and simpler things or they generally lack ambition.” He took a sip of the tea and placed it down. There are some people in this world who were made to lead and others who were made to follow, those without ambition in Tomura’s opinion felled under the latter.  At the same time, it both amused and fascinated Tomura how simple and yet complex people were.

“How would you feel about having some control over who has power and who does not have power? Meanwhile, while controlling the flow of power, we’d make a profit of it.” He paused for a moment to study Louie’s reaction before he continued. “Now, the effectiveness of this plan all depends on how much you are willing to put into it, not in the terms of money, but in action. If you understand what I mean.” Tomura essentially had question how far Louie was willing to go in order to achieve power and wealth.

Louie's face remained quizzical as he stared into his glass of wine, admiring his own visage in the rosewood reflection. He adjusted his golden threads as he noticed the small imperfections in his reflection, listening to Tomura's proposal.

Smiling with a feigned friendliness still, Louie didn't look up from his glass of wine. He seemed uninterested, listening to Tomura but was otherwise unengaged. "You've piqued my interest, but you haven't told me any details regarding how you're going to accomplish this. You're being awfully vague, Tomura Momochi." He finally looked up from his glass, his crimson eyes meeting Tomura's red ones. His eyes were the color of blood.

It was no lie that Tomura had piqued his interest, although the gestures Louie was making told a different story. Controlling the flow of power was a fun idea to toy within his head, but how was this trading company employee going to affect any of these, even with Louie's help? He must have thought this out beforehand, as the golden-blonde would hate to have felt his precious time be wasted on food for thought. Louie had even decided to be more lenient with his judgments for this man, giving him an opportunity to put himself in his good favor. What Tomura would say next would determine whether or not their relationship had a future.

Louie continued to smile at him, but his crimson eyes looked more serpentine and observant. Now, what do you have in mind, Tomura Momochi?

    Weapon Monopoly and More

Tomura made a note that Louie’s attention was focused on his reflection and his appearance, it reminded him of the myth of narcissus; a beautiful man who fell in love with himself. A water nymph fell in love with him as well, but Narcissus rejected her, and Nemesis came after him. The goddess of revenge led Narcissus to a pool of water, where he saw his own reflection and fell in love with it. When he realized that he fell in love with his own reflection he drowned himself in despair- it was truly an ironic story. A curious eyebrow was cocked towards Louie’s direction, followed by a deceptive smirk. He stifled a laugh.

Indeed, I haven’t told you an ounce of my plan. I was determining if I could trust you, or if you were one of the common lame man found in fairy tale. Though, I am beginning to think that you are not, and that you are so much more than the simple-minded fools within both of our guilds.” The words slipped out like the sweetest of honey layered on a nice piece of toast. He would pause to take another sip of his tea and gave a moment for his honey suckled words to seep into the other male. Tomura did not shrivel under the other’s serpentine and observant gaze, but he instead matched it with his own.

“I will get into slight details, but I do not want to speak much in such a public place, understood?” He would question, but then wave it off. “Of course, you do, I would expect no less from a man of your talents.” Tomura would clasp his fingers together, “It would start simple. The creation of a weapon manufacturing company partnered with the West Fiorie Trading Company, slowly but surely, a monopoly would be made on weapon manufacturing and lacrima creation.” He paused for a moment, wanting to see how Louie would react to this information and idea.

Post by Louie 22nd March 2020, 1:41 pm

"Pffft!" Louie chortled at his comment, "Pardon me, but what's a comedian such as yourself doing working for a trading company? Ha!" Louie joked. "The common lame man," he said! When Louie heard the words, he was almost too surprised to react at first. After all, he was dubious of Tomura, but he never thought he'd speak so candidly about both of their guilds that way. That's not to say that Louie's surprise wasn't a pleasant one since as a matter of fact, it was. The blonde had always thought very lowly of all the guilds and Fiore's inhabitants, Fairy Tail included, and finding a shared view on them was about as uncommon as finding a diamond in the rough. Tomura was no diamond, he was not even a precious gem, but he was a character Louie wouldn't have minded being in the company of for an afternoon.

After the chuckles subsided, Louie's crimson eyes were no longer fixed on the rosewood wine, but now on the man before him. Tomura had earned his attention with what Louie thought was honesty, after all. As he looked at him, he began to notice little imperfections in his appearance that he hadn't noticed before. His hair was a bit unkempt and reminded him of crude oil in color. His eyes looked empty, but even Louie could acknowledge that the color of blood was a charming hue. His skin was fair but not smooth enough for his liking. His voice was somewhat magnetic. Even though Tomura was hardly a step above the rest of this country's filth, Louie couldn't help but be somewhat attracted to him. Was it the eyes? Or his humor?

"If our table is too open for you, I wouldn't be opposed to taking you somewhere more private another day." Louie smiled kindly, his expression a product of deception, but his words relatively sincere. Louie toyed with the idea, but he didn't feel uncomfortable being in a more private space with Tomura. Reserving an entire restaurant for an evening for them wasn't off the table if it meant the blonde could get more details out of him. Who was he to refuse Louie anything, even details?

Now then, the proposal. Weapons, was it? Louie couldn't lie, he was rather excited to be discussing weapons. Like most "rich kids," the blonde did enjoy purchasing and playing with dangerous things. Some of those things he had taken the time of learning how to use properly, while other times he'd be more reckless. Sports cars, private aircraft, firearms, exotic animals, the whole package. If it existed, he'd want it for himself. The world and its fruits were meant for him to take, after all. "Is that so? Are you, perhaps, asking for seed money as well? It's not an unsound proposal."

    Power Unlimited Power

An eyebrow was cocked upward once more as he was called a comedian. Does it look like he made jokes? Just because his hair was colored a darkish green, did not mean that he was a joker. Even though he found Louie’s comment to be annoying and a little irritating, Tomura did not betray his calm demeanor. If anything, he allowed a gentle smile to hide his venomous irritation that silently boiled within. From his obsession with his reflection, and how giddy he got with Tomura’s compliments- the string mage was starting to learn a thing or two about Louie’s personality. Most importantly, he was starting to learn how to pull Louie’s strings and sing to his tune; and that was through flattery and compliments. The most basic forms of manipulation, it was honestly disappointing, but oh well.

Tomura would take a moment to consider Louie’s offer. “Allow me to take a few moments to consider the offer, I do not make decisions without considering all seen and potentially unseen cards at play.” He spoke truthfully, and made it seem like he was flattered or baffled that Louie would make such an offer. “But I do assure you Louie, that details will come to you, in do time.” He paused for a moment. “But you honor me with your request, honor and flatter me.”

It was time to return to the proposal at hand. In theory, Tomura plotted to take control over the underground weapon market, while slowly creating a monopoly on the legal weapon market. With time in patience, he planned on controlling who has access to what weapons. Louie jumped the gun and asked if Tomura was requesting some seed money, the string mage smirked in reply. “In a manner of speaking I am, but at the same time, you have connections that I do not. Connections within fairy tale that would be useful in my endeavor. Having the West Fiorie Trading Company in my ring grants me power, and jewels. But you and your magnificence, would offer so much more.” He paused. “I am offering you Louie, and your greatness, a seat at the table.” he would let his words sink in before continuing.

“Whoever controls the lacrima and weapons, control the flow of power. And once you control who has power, and who does not have power; well you’d practically control Fiorie itself.” He held out his hands to his sides, “You’d have wealth, power, woman or men whatever your taste is, and control.”

Business as Usual (Private) Empty Re: Business as Usual (Private)

Post by Louie 22nd March 2020, 3:49 pm

Louie's eyebrow twitched a little. He understood that the trash of this country was blissfully ignorant to Louie's status, prestige, and perfection, but who did this Tomura Momochi think he was speaking to? His offer was thoughtful for someone of such low status, but even the slightest tinge of offense that could be taken from his peals of flattery was taken from Louie. To think that the blonde didn't already have wealth, power, men, and women at his disposal felt particularly insulting to him, and he could feel his irritation begin to simmer from within. There was clearly nothing Tomura could offer that Louie didn't already possess, but, Louie being himself, was insatiably greedy. In fact, his lust for things in any capacity is what drove him to sell his very soul for the ability to wield magic. It was what brought him to Fiore in the first place. The dozens of million-jewel properties he owned and all of the lavish items he indulged in were never enough. The world was his oyster and all of its flowers were meant for his flawless fingers to pluck, and to think that Tomura was offering him, Louie Calvin Klein, a seat at the table? Unthinkable.

While the comment in itself was beyond someone as superior as Louie, the thought of taking control of Fiore wasn't something that ever crossed his mind. He's only had personal vendettas against individuals or specific groups of people, but he's never contemplated seizing the place. But now that it was on his mind, a man as greedy and insatiable as Louie couldn't help but contemplate it if it meant he gained more power. Even so, it seemed like a lot of work to clean up a landfill like Fiore. Louie was almost reluctant to commit to such an endeavor, but then something else crossed his mind.

"In do time? My time is not as expendable as you might think, and I know better than to plant my seeds in unknown soils, Tomura." Louie's smile persisted, but his face hardened a bit as he struggled to conceal his irritation with Tomura. It wasn't so easy to keep brave face when a man so far below him was making such insulting offers, but he had to maintain his decorum if his next request was going to be taken smoothly. "To be honest with you, Tomura, there's nothing you can offer me that I don't already possess myself! So how about this? I'll contribute to your plan—in fact, I'll go the extra mile for you. But in return, you'll have to spend time with me whenever it's requested." he grinned innocently.

Even when being deceptive, Louie was particularly domineering. He never asked for things—he demanded them. He didn't accept—he took. Needless to say, he was interested in Tomura Momochi in the sense he was curious about his character. The flattery and his mannerisms... it was an opportunity Louie couldn't afford to miss out on. People and products, after all, were meant for his use and delight. Who was he to refuse? The money, women, and power would come to him even if he refused it, as they were natural byproducts of this plan as it appeared, so why not kill two birds with one stone?

Louie looked at his wine again, smirking. "That's a pretty mild sacrifice for what I'm giving you, don't you think?"

A firm smirk had made its way onto Tomura’s face when he noticed that Louie’s eyebrow twitched. Oh dear, it seemed that he had struck a nerve on Louie small ego, honestly, it must have been really small to be hurt with such a small a little comment- but it did prove Tomura right. Louie was a narcissist, much like how Tomura was a psychopath or as he would say unique to the filth of man. With that information in mind, Tomura realized how dangerous Louie could be, but he was not afraid. People like Louie were easily manipulated and crafted into a tool for his own personal game, flattery and a little sucking up to was all he needed to deceive the childish brat into his design. To complete his ultimate goal. But he would need to be careful, to place his own ego aside, just to soothe and stroke the other’s ego. Plus, being around such dangerous people excited him, and he found the prospect appealing- so much so, that he had bit down on his lip drawing blood, “Oh goodness me.” He would call out and dab the drop of blood with a nearby napkin, “Forgive me for such an unsightly scene.”

Tomura would allow the other male to think that he was in charge of the situation, but in reality, it would be he who was pulling the strings from the shadows. Furthermore, he no doubt was aware that Louie was hiding something beneath his mask, something the string mage was itching to get at. Who really was Louie, and what was he really hiding? That would be something that Tomura would probe latter on, who knows he may find someone who can understand him.

“You are right. Your time is in-expendable, forgive me for making that irrational comment. But I was not clear in my comment, forgive me, I get too excited sometimes especially around people like you. Your time will not be wasted, that I can promise you, your precious time will not be wasted.” He would pause as Louie’s counter offer confused and even perplexed him. His green hues explored every ounce of Louie’s body trying to uncover his secrets. He tilted his head curiously and took a sip from tea and leaned forward thoughtfully. Tomura took that as a sign that Louie was aware of his manipulations, a fact which if true, concerned him greatly but at the same time amuse him. He leaned back into his chair, and contemplated Louie request, it seem honestly harmless.  “I must admit that I do somewhat doubt that I cannot offer you nothing, I would like to amuse you for a moment to get to know me a bit, there are things that I think would interest you. Therefore, I accept your offer on a couple of conditions. You must understand, I do not have the luxury to simply drop everything, but for you I would try. Therefore, I humbly ask you that you give me a warning before hand, and that you give me three times each month to deny an offer. In the case, that my poor hopeless soul is terribly ill, for I do not want to get your beautiful raiment sick.”

Tomura would wave the waiter over so that they could finally get something to eat. “I agree to your terms, shall we celebrate with food?”

"Once." Louie raised a single finger, waving it back and forth with his friendly smile sticking to his lips despite the domineering words coming out of his mouth, "Once a month. You do not have to worry about spreading illness—I know better than to force a sick dog to play, it'd be no fun that way. I can warn you beforehand if that is what you want, but I won't allow you to reject me more than once. Will you take it or will you leave it, Tomura Momochi?"

As usual, Louie was stubborn. He was always like that. In fact, the very fact that he was allowing Tomura even a single opportunity to reject him was proof enough that he had become so inquisitive of this man that he was willing to be so lenient. But any more than once was something the blonde couldn't imagine settling for, especially for what he was offering him in exchange. Tomura wasn't any different from people who've reached out to him in the past, after all. They all wanted his clout, protection, or resources. Why else would they seek an audience with someone so much better than them? Even pigs had eyes, and anyone could see Louie's value if they had eyes.

Louie leaned forward, his eyebrows perking up quizzically. He hadn't acknowledged it before, but the blonde had only now taken interest in Tomura's bloody lip. Blood was such a fine color. In fact, the blonde could almost say it was his favorite, next to gold, of course. "Of course, I'd rather refuse you any option to reject me at all, but I'll throw you a bone, haha! You won't refuse me now, will you?" Louie chuckled.

    Business as Usual (Private) Original

    Power Unlimited Power

An eyebrow was raised when Louie mentioned that he would only have one time to reject his offer. While every instinct in his body told him to challenge this stranger, just in the sake of challenging him. Tomura was aware that it would no doubt anger the other male, and Tomura would like his influence. You see, it wasn’t just about the money that Louie was offering him, but also the connection. Tomura held a magpie like obsession with collecting people of wealth and influence, people who could be of use for him. Louie was wealth, held connections within Fairy Tail, and therefore, Tomura saw no reason to deny Louie. He wasn’t afraid of the other male before him, fear was for the weak, and he was not weak. If anyone would be weak, it would be Louie, mostly for his need of attention; as Tomura can see by Louie wanting his attention, it was slightly annoying at the same time, but for now Tomura will tolerate it. Over time, Tomura would make sure that Louie would recognize the difference between the two.

Though he understood that it was in a narcissist nature to be completely oblivious to their flaws. No doubt, a narcissist would ignore them entirely, and when someone pointed them out, they would answer back with aggression and belittlement. Abnormal psychology was Tomura’s favorite subject, and he enjoyed manipulating, controlling, and experimenting on people like Louie- it amused him greatly.

A sick dog? We shall see who is the dog after this little experiment of ours, let the games begin

He thought bitterly to himself. Tomura need not his protection, and somehow, he was going to make Louie realize that. But for now, he would play the game of a sick dog, all the while singing to his tune, getting him to let his guard down, then showing this poor spoiled little pup his true nature and his true power. Slowly, very slowly, Tomura would tear down Louie’s mask, and uncover the source  behind his arrogance. Then Tomura would feed off that broken mask, that inner weakness that people of his nature suffer from, and figuratively consume Louie. When he is done with this poor pup, he’d be nothing more than a fly caught in a spider web. Left naked and exposed before a power far greater that what Louie could even comprehend. The difference between Tomura and Louie, was that Tomura was confident in himself. He did not feel the need to flaunt his superiority over others or shrivel under criticism. He understood his position within the nature of things and accepted it and aimed to improve said position. Though, he doubts that Louie could understand his position within the grand scheme of things.

“Once a month including sick leave sounds fair, though that begs the question. Why am I deserving of this time with you? Surely, someone of my standing does not deserve it?” Tomura wondered if Louie was attracted to him, for his offer was comparable to that of a series of dates, it was intimate in nature. Maybe, just maybe, that was where he should start clawing at Louie’s mask. Uncovering his sexuality, what he believes his sexuality is, and what his sexuality actually is. Then, Tomura could appeal to that portion of Louie’s complex personality, or he could start with the arrogant male’s backstory. Choices, choices.

“I don’t take you as someone who would want my company, if I must be truthful.” Tomura would go onto say, while he waited for the waiter to finish up with the table he was at. “I am but a simple businessman, someone who desires to create my own financial empire, free from my past. Whereas, you hold the magnificent attitude and demeanor and nature of that of a heavenly noble.”

He smiled dryly. “Indeed you are a master when it comes to negotiations, I am nearly helpless against your skilled tongue, I wish to learn your mastery of words. Though, I fear that maybe impossible.” Perhaps, during their little sessions, Tomura could teach Louie how to learn some bloody manners. Who knows, maybe under his arrogance and fragile ego there would rest something that Tomura would like. Perhaps, when Tomura decides to show his true nature, the two would be able to bond over their abnormal personalities compared to the usual brutes. In the end everyone desires companionship, even someone with a limited and near absence of emotions, like Tomura desired some form of intimacy and romance. However, he was highly doubtful that Louie was capable of being honestly intimate with someone else, female or not. On the other hand, Tomura had to admit that he was nearly incapable, to him people were nothing more than puppets for his strings to pull- nothing more, nothing less.

Business as Usual (Private) Empty Re: Business as Usual (Private)

Post by Louie 23rd March 2020, 3:31 pm

Tomura's flattery was heavy, and while Louie enjoyed the praise, he resented liars. But it wasn't as if everything Tomura had complimented Louie on wasn't true. In fact, every word that left his mouth held some sort of truth. After all, it didn't take that big of a brain, and the people of this country surely lacked one, to acknowledge perfection and brilliance when they saw it. The blonde was like a fire, radiant and dangerous. Even so, while Tomura's words weren't incorrect, Louie couldn't shake the feeling that he didn't mean what he said. It was this suspicion that fueled his anger, and what drove him to cull his former fiance and their unborn child. He was completely within his right to remove and punish those who didn't mean what they said, especially if they had no place on his stage. People were merely disposable extras in his story unless they proved otherwise. Extras were expendable, after all, but the star of the show couldn't ever be replaced.

Even then, Louie was somewhat used to it by now. Tomura was not the first to suck up to him for his resources, and he certainly wouldn't be the last. The only difference between this trading company employee and the next pig was that there was something magnetic about him—the blonde couldn't help but be drawn to him. Regardless, he couldn't figure out what it was that made him so curious. Louie, like most things, was determined to uncover the reason why.

"Deserving? Of course, you aren't!" he laughed again as if Tomura had told him something funny, "If I'm being honest, it's hard navigating a country on my own like this, and with you around, it won't be so boring either." Louie looked at him while taking a sip of his rosewood wine, staring right into his eyes. "So don't worry. You're not so special. Just a contracted pet, yes?"

Aha... oh dear. Won't you look at that? Louie pondered to himself, staring at the small injury on Tomura's lip, It looks like I've let my guard down. I didn't intend on letting my thoughts slip so easily, but... well, this is fine. He looked at Tomura's entire complexion, suddenly looking excited, I'd rather feel comfortable in my own skin if I'm going to play with him from now on. What's the point in sugar-coating my words?

Louie had to admit it—he had gotten too comfortable with his conversation with Tomura since coming here, in the sense that his guard had dropped, and the gentle, friendly personality Louie had crafted and worn throughout the years had simmered away and revealed bits and pieces of his true personality. But he didn't hold many qualms with this sort of unveiling. After all, Tomura would have had to face his true character at some point if Louie had any intention of spending time around him.

The golden blonde leaned forward, his posture far more casual than before as one hand held his wine and the other hand was holding his jaw. "Yes, you're like..." a smirk ripped across his lips, "my new puppy."

Careful now, I enjoy you, but be careful

Some bits of his flattery were genuine, and he did have genuine respect for Louie. His respect rested in Louie’s status and ambition, alongside his connections and influence. But honestly, besides that, Tomura did not care for the other male and found him nothing more that arrogant trash. Either that, or a foolish child who doesn’t know how to successfully conceal his true nature and keep his ego in check. It was sad and yet amusing to Tomura, on one hand the other male held some potential, but on the other he was a pain in the butt. Anyway, Tomura was pretty much sure that Louie would have a hard time deciphering  thing that he meant and things that he didn’t mean, and well trouble figuring Tomura himself out as well. Actually, he doubted if Louie would be able to chip away at his own mask at all. Only time will tell. The question that Tomura needed to ask himself was, how much time could he stand this male, before he tries to kill the rude and get rid of Louie’s obnoxiousness. But seeing someone that appeared to be confident was refreshing enough, even though it may hide or be born out of a fragile ego.

At least Louie could have some decency to act proper in public. It was extremely embarrassing for Tomura to be seen within this childish temper tantrum that Louie was displaying. Hopefully, some of his manners would rub off on Louie, if not well, one should always kill the rude. Tomura’s father taught him that those with terrible manners and over-confidence hide a fragile ego, and if they could not be molded into a weapon, then they shall be disposed of mercifully. Ah his father, such an interesting and cruel man he was. Well, it seems that he wouldn’t have to do much chipping to see Louie’s true personality.

“……….” Tomura simply starred at Louie as he laughed like an idiot, there was no emotion in his eyes, save for a flicker of annoyance and a defiant stout of confidence that flared in them. He smirked. It seemed that in his arrogance Louie did not take into account his own flaw, how ironic. “A contracted pet? Tch, that would be the first time someone called me a contracted pet, heh.” He would pause for a moment, and shot Louie a dangerous look, filled with malice and defiance as his jaw was clasped in the other’s hand. A moment of his true dangerous and violent nature flickered, just for a second, but disappeared. But his confidence did not fade, his confidence never waned.

“Careful now Louie, be very careful.” Tomura would state and gently clasp him by the wrist and remove his hand from his jaw. “If I am a dog, you might want to be careful! Some dogs are feral and wild, and proper training and time is needed to break them, unless of course, you risk getting bit.” He placed Louie’s hand on the table, “We don’t want bite marks to taint your delicate skin.” He would pause for a moment, “You might need to train this dog, before he bares his fangs, don’t you agree?”

He paused again to lean back into his chair, letting his words sink in. “I must admit I am honored that you have finally started to show bits of who you really are, absolutely refreshing to get past this deceit.” He smiled, a cold unforgiving smile, “It almost makes me want to take off my mask, and allow what really lies within to come out in play, should I? Or should we play a game? So many choices, tsk, tsk.”

The poor waiter was watching the scene with a note of fear and uncomfort in his eyes. Tomura’s attention was so focused on Louie that he hadn’t heard the waiter walk by. He shifted his gaze onto the poor rather attractive man, his demeanor shifted completely to become more warming and compassionate. “Oh forgive me handsome, I did not see you there! I was preoccupied with some business, ah menu’s please?” Tomura would kindly ask, the waiter nodded hesitantly and offered them some menus. “Ah, silly me, I need to remember to give that nice handsome waiter a tip, wouldn’t you agree?”

Business as Usual (Private) Empty Re: Business as Usual (Private)

Post by Louie 23rd March 2020, 5:56 pm

The moment Tomura's hands had clasped over Louie's wrist, the blonde snatched it away from him before he could gently place down on the table. The moment his skin touched his own, a look of resentment and revulsion filled Louie's crimson eyes, as if he were looking at something disgusting. At the end of the day, as captivating as Tomura could be, trash was still trash.

Louie swallowed his first words. He had almost let his temper get the better of him when he felt his hands coil around his wrist. In fact, he had to stifle the insult he was about to barrage onto him like he was swallowing glass. "....I'm sure even someone like you knows better than to bite the hand that feeds you. But if not," Louie stared into his wine again, "then yes, I suppose training is necessary."

After that, it seemed to be one insult after the other. How full of himself was he? To think that he could accuse Louie of wearing a mask. To think that he had the right to say anything of it! The audacity was immeasurable! Not only that, but he also had the impertinence to avert his attention from him, Louie Calvin Klein, to some worthless waiter? Unacceptable, and Louie was reaching his peak!

Louie placed his glass of wine on the table, roughly stepping up from his seat. "Actually, I think we're done here," he said, a look of impatience on his hard and irritated visage. As he stood up, he slipped a hand into his suit's pocket, retrieving a small slip of paper with an address scribbled over its expensive material, and placing it on the table in front of Tomura. "If you don't already have an iLac, go to this location and get one. And do it today, because you're going to fulfill your end of our agreement starting tomorrow, so I expect an instant response to my messages and calls." Louie demanded bluntly, glaring at Tomura.

There was a small pause when he stared at Tomura and his unemotional smile. Looking at his body and the ugly face that brought it all together, Louie had an idea of what he wanted to do to him tomorrow. Suddenly, Louie's glare transformed into a wild smirk, where layers of vexation rested on his countenance but a fiery passion burned in his eyes. "You're nothing, you know that? Nothing. The lowest of the low. But it is your lucky day," the blonde began to laugh again, grabbing an entire unopened bottle of the rosewood wine he had earlier and walked off, "maybe by the time our agreement comes to an end, you'll be a something."

The uncomfortable waiter hesitated to speak but was able to sputter out some words. "S-Sir, you can't take the entire bottle—"

Louie's face suddenly turned sour again. "Silence! I'll take whatever I damn well please. Watch your mouth, server." the golden blonde put his face towards him, glaring at him with daggers in his eyes. Abruptly, he scoffed and pointed at Tomura, "He'll be paying for everything," Louie looked at him, "Don't be late, Tomura Momochi."

    After that, he left.

    Business as Usual (Private) Original

    The end

It seems that Tomura had touched a nerve and it was time for the beast to nearly come out. He was unphased by the look that Louie gave him, the glare of resentment and revulsion within those crimson eyes, in fact the string mage tried his hardest not to laugh in Louie’s face. It was amusing to see that Louie was trying to use simple words to harm him. Sticks and stones. While Tomura found Louie lack of manners to be resentful, he honestly could careless about his words. He did not lower himself to desire the words of praise from someone so self-deluded and foolish as Louie. Unlike Louie his ego did not require constant praise and admiration, his ego was relatively solid and complete.

Furthermore, Louie seemed to be having some trouble actually getting his words out. He seemed to have been wanting to say more, but something was holding him back. Tomura wondered what could have possibly prevented Louie from saying his full insult, heh. It was true, Tomura understood that if he took things too far that Louie may cut him off, but he wasn’t concern. For the most part, it seemed like he had some sort of affect, one that prevented Louie from completely letting loose just now. Could it be that the narcissist was attracted to him? If so, what was the reason to this attraction? Was it the compliments? That would make sense, comparing his knowledge about Louie’s seemingly sensitive ego. Though he must admit, he would need to know more of the other male before he could make a definite diagnosis. For now, his money was an amusing case of narcissistic personality disorder, but he wasn’t completely sure.

Tomura was actually disappointed that Louie decided to leave. It seems that by pointing out that his mask was wearing off, Tomura warned him that maybe he should go tidy up. And just when things were starting to get interesting, and they were starting to get to know one another. Louie decided to runaway with his tail tuck between his legs, that is what separated a narcissist from someone like Tomura. Tomura was not afraid to face the storm, but then again, Tomura would not have allowed his mask to obviously fall. That was proof that Tomura was indeed better that Louie in every way possible. Though to be honest, he did not doubt that Louie was an inferior version of himself, that was blatantly obvious.

“Oh, how disappointing, I hate to see you go! We were just getting to know one another.” There was an amuse tone in his voice, and he smiled. Louie took a moment to scribble something on a piece of paper, and then placed it in front of Tomura, who cocked an eyebrow in reply. It was an address that told him where to get an iLac and according to Louie he needed one by the end of the day. Tomura was tempted to tell the cocky son of a bitch that he would get the iLac whenever he pleased. But it amuse Tomura that Louie had essentially gave him his number, and told him that they had a date tomorrow.

Honestly, he wondered if Louie even realized what he said. Most likely not. Tomura doubted that Louie gave any thought to what comes from his mouth, but then again, he has been wrong before. Though he wondered what Louie was going to try and get him to do tomorrow, from his reaction, Louie seemed to have already made out a plan for tomorrow morning, and Tomura was eager to see what it was. No doubt Louie plotted to do something that would embarrass him, and well, Tomura would simply reflect it back. No matter what, Tomura was going to reflect all of his irritating deeds back onto Louie. He would just need to do it cautiously, and in a way not to destroy this arrangement that they have.

“You are very demanding Louie, but very well. I will get an iLac just to speak to you. I dare not miss the opportunity to get to know you Louie, you interest me too much, and this deal is too sweet.” Tomura would comment, stuffing the note in his pocket and taking a sip of his tea. Soon, very soon it seemed, Tomura was going to show Louie what true power and authority was. His father taught him how to command people, how to control people, and how to dominate people. As the heir to House De Flamenco, one of the most powerful houses in his country, he was expected to be a master of men.

Granted, House De Flamenco was not the ruling House. But his younger sister was married to the King, and everyone knew, that just because you wore a crown doesn’t make you the true King. Power does not come within a golden crown and golden thrown, it came in people, connections, and strength. His father was hand to the king, and widely regarded as the true King of his country. Tomura by the end of this affair would make sure that Louie understood the difference between power and status. This would after all not his first rodeo with narcissistic idiots, nor would it no doubt be his last. For some reason, Tomura found being around such people to be amusing and entertaining.

But he would have to admit. The next time that Louie would touch him in that manner again, there would be dire consequences or some sort of retribution. Furthermore, he would have to think of something to truly test Louie, and slowly devise a way to break all those layers that tear him apart. A part of Tomura wanted the other male to fall for him, just so his revenge would be all so sweet. Tomura continued to smile even after Louie yelled at him, saying that he was the lowest of lows and whatnot. “Sticks and stones, sticks and stones.” He would comment softly with an eerie chuckle.

He would take things as they come. But in the end, he was curious as to who Louie actually was, that would take time and much patience, patience that Tomura would have to find. At least, he has started to make connections within fairy tail, through Louie he would establish trade. That was all he needed Louie for, to establish trade with fairy tail, the seed money was just an extra benefit. Soon enough, he would become the most powerful man in Fiorie, all he needed to do was be patient and play his cards right. Patience.

Fortunately for him. Tomura was not like Louie, he had all the patience in the world. Another trait regrettably inherited from his father, the cruel and twisted man. Or well, most people would comment that, but Tomura did not care, he hated his father but that was about it. Hmmm, maybe he could get Louie to talk about his family, that could explain some of his behaviors. But that too would take time. He was fortunately, or so he supposes that Louie wanted to see more of him. A shock indeed. He wondered how long he could keep this up, how long Louie would want to continuously see him. How long it would take to break the other male, for his mind to be laid naked and bare in front of him.

“Some steak and potatoes please.” Tomura would state and wave the waiter away. Will this affair end? That was the question, maybe it was Tomura who would teach something to Louie. Now that would be amusing, that would be amazing amusing. He couldn’t hold it back anymore, as Louie left the restaurant with the bottle of wine. Tomura covered is face with his hand and started to laugh hysterically. It was an maniacal and demented laugh, cruel and eerie to the ears. People were starting to stare, and if it wasn’t for his reputation needing to be maintained he would have swiped his finger and killed everyone.

One day, one day he might leave his guild and engage in the chaotic wave of destruction that he wanted to bring about, his legacy would be one of death and destruction, that was for sure. People would hear his name and shake in fear, and his legacy would outlive everyone. No one would dare want to mention his name, but it would not be forgotten, it would never be forgotten. Louie was just a steppingstone to bring about an age of chaos and anarchy, where true mages could only survive. When the foundation of the magic council would shake, and the king on his mighty throne would tremble in pure fear.

It would be survival of the fittest, and he would sit on a pile of bones as king.

For now, however, he would continue to play the game of businessman. He would attract people like Louie, one way or another to his cause, and when the foundation is set, he would rise. Louie was just the first of many, or at least, that was what Tomura planned. Anyone who got in his way would be destroyed, and that even meant if Louie got in his way Tomura would destroy him. Completely and utterly. But that was not yet in the cards, those goals were still in the shadows waiting to emerge. However, when they did everyone needed to be prepared for Tomura will not hold back.

Tomura needed to gain more power as well, to increase his magical and physical might. He wanted to become the strongest man alive, even able to keep up with the symbol of peace himself. Admittedly, Tomura had read within wizard weekly about the man, and found him amusing. One day, he wanted to challenge him, and to see who was the stronger of the two. He also simply wanted to know more about the man, and why he thought the way he did. It interested him. People of great conviction interested him. Perhaps that was the reason why Tomura found Louie so amusing and interesting.

While arrogance and conviction played hand in hand, Tomura understood that even though Louie was very arrogant to the point of being an idiot, that he did possess a strong will. If Tomura could simply direct that will to his design, well, that would be a potent ally. Gods. He was so eager to get to know the other male, to feel their conflicting personalities clash- that was what he wanted. A challenge. Though, honestly, once Louie started to get in his way, Tomura would not hold back his ambition and would crush him. Crush him until there was nothing left, and he would enjoy it, just a little, or maybe more. It depends on how their relationship would progress, but something told him that it would go perfectly interesting.

Soon the waiter came back with the food that he had order, and Tomura would thank the man, and then carefully and with the manners of a royal eat the food. Next time they ate together, if Louie were to pay attention, then he might able to determine where Tomura came from. There were clues all over the place, random and various clues all over the place, even if Tomura didn’t directly state it. There were simply some habits that he simply couldn’t drop, or he wasn’t aware that he had it. But he doubted that Louie was intelligent enough to pay attention, but who knows, the other male may surprise him.

    Doubtful

People like Louie tended to be predicable, driven by their arrogance. Oh well it was worth the thought. He sat their eating his dinner rather bored with himself and disappointed that the rest of the evening would turn out boring, he kind of wished that Louie didn’t leave so soon. Ugh, great. Now he was going to be obsessed with the other male, just because he was so fascinating. Seriously, he needed to get rid of the other, or well at least plot to get rid of him. Just to get him out of his mind. After a while, Tomura would have finished the meal and the pay for the food. Even though he did not care about the waiter, he was embarrassed of Louie’s little temper tantrum and therefore apologized on his behalf.

The waiter accepted his apologized then paid and then left the restaurant. Surely, Louie would have been disappointed in his own behavior, then again, he probably didn’t see it. Disappointing, truly disappointing. The string mage would reach into his pocket to take out the note that he had, it had the address to the store, Tomura didn’t have an iLac because he didn’t see the need to have one. He preferred social interaction, true social interaction, it allowed him to read people to truly learn about them. Tomura honestly didn’t care to get one, but he was too curious about this male not to get one.

Then again, Louie did not give him his number. So how was he supposed to get into contact with the arrogant male? Surely Louie did not think that Tomura would be the first one to send messages. On the other hand, this was Louie that Tomura was talking about and he no doubt expected for Tomura to be the first to arrange messages, no matter, Tomura simply won’t give him that arrogant pleasure. If need be Tomura would play the quote on quote brat, just so that Louie would have a taste of his own medicine. But he would indeed make his way to the store, just to tease the other male.

They would have to show Tomura how to use the machine. Because he certainly didn’t care enough to learn how to use the device, he guessed that now it was time for the days of social intimacy to over. The man who was selling him the device seemed to be amused that a man of Tomura age did not have a machine like this, and he gleefully taught Tomura how to use the device. It was honestly annoying, but for now, Tomura would tolerate such annoyance, for now, at least. Next time it may not be that way.

When he was sure that he had a grasp on how to use the machine, Tomura would then leave and started to experiment with the torture device and seeing that he needed a place to sleep. He would rent out an hotel, currently he did not a place of his own. But that was mostly because he didn’t want to be forced to stay in one place or another, for now, he was staying or living at the guild. Once he was done exploring this strange country, then Tomura might invest in a place to stay. But something told him that he needed to invest sooner or later, mainly, because it seems Louie was going to force him to stay.

The childish brat. That did remind him. How was Louie going to make contact with him, if he didn’t have his number, and if he didn’t have Louie’s number. What did the arrogant fool expect? For him to telepathically read his number off his mind? Unfortunately, Tomura could not read minds, if he could he would not have agreed to be around Louie so much, but that would also make life boring. But as he was exploring his new device, Tomura realized that there was a number already programmed into the iLac. The string mage sighed in irritation when he realized that it was Louie’s number. Tomura would find a way to rename Louie to narcissistic asshat. He wondered if Louie knew what an narcissist was. Oh well he would figure that out later, maybe tomorrow if he gets around to it.

But for now he wanted to work out some. He needed to train his body, to make it better, to become stronger so that he could become the most powerful man in Fiorie. Who knows, when he was done creating his weapon manufacturing industry, Tomura might expand to other nations. Ah, now that was a pleasing thought, to have vast control over the world. Louie honestly didn’t know what he was missing, oh well, one day the other male would learn that his arrogance would only lead to his downfall. But it would take time for Tomura to drive that point in, this was going to be amusing.

He trained for a couple of hours, two or three, and when he was done he found a nice hotel with a decent exercise area so that he could exercise in the morning. He requested a room on the top floor so that he can look out onto the city, and enjoy the view. Tomura got a nice hotel and it certaintly wasn’t trash, but it wasn’t absolute perfection, no doubt Louie would hate it. But Tomura did not go about spending money unless absolutely necessary.
