    Magic Name: Sacred Demon Slayer Magic (Ascendant Demon Slayer Magic)
    Magic Type: Slayer
    Description: Demon Slayer Magic is a type of Slayer Magic that draws its power from the very characteristics, moves, techniques and spectrums of a demon. It has been taught from an ancient demon to Jariel back when he was in Desierto, which classifies it as a First Generation Demon Slayer Magic. Its attribute in his case is that of light and photons; because that all Demon Slayer Magic is on the light side of the spectrum already, the light emitting from this magic is none but intensified to the point of absurdity. The user can manifest intense rays of light taking forms of demonic limbs, weapons or arsenal for various purposes such as damaging the targets, blinding them or applying useful effects onto the user or other targets. Light attributes are also efficient against the impure and cursed; demonic beings and the undead are already prone to be susceptible to light magic, so Sacred Demon Slayer Magic only stacks up on top of that.

    As a Slayer Magic, it grants the user the ability to devour and ingest the attribute/element that his magic resolves around to replenish his mana pool; in this case, the user can devour natural light emitting from its sources such as the sun, light bulbs or other sources. However, as light cannot be gathered as a solid mass, it is rather the intensity of the light that determines how replenished the user is after devouring it.

    It is not a type of Magic that compliments visual stealth due to its intense rays of light emitting from almost every spell thrown out. Rather, it is a weapon and tool of choice for direct combat and exploration. Jariel's use of Demon Slayer Magic is both offensive and supportive; while throwing effects on himself to boost his fighting capabilities or senses, he aims to overwhelm his opponents with blinding light and finish a magic duel as quickly and effectively as possible.

    • +50% passive increase to Strength, Speed, and Spell Damage.
    • Greatly enhanced senses of Hearing, Sight, and Smell.
    • Ability to Consume Magic of the same element as the Slayer Magic to regain MP as well as the Force Ability (See below).
    • Inherent Damage Resistance to their slayer element based on the rank of spell/ability as follows:

    o 2 Ranks Above Character: 0%
    o 1 Rank Above Character: 10%
    o Same Rank as Character: 25%
    o 1 Rank below Character: 35%
    o 2 Ranks below character: 50%


    Demon Force:


    • First and Second Generation Force: A Slayer must consume at least 5 spells of their rank and respective element in MP to activate First or Second Generation Slayer Force (Max. H rank), but must have at least 50% of their total MP to be able to do so.

    • Force highly increases the power of the Slayer's Strength, Speed, and Spell Damage by 100% rather than just 50%.
    • While Force is active, the Slayer is surrounded by an aura of their respective element, increasing either their base spell damage or their base melee damage by 50%. This increase is separate from other base increases and can apply independently of the cap imposed on base increases.
    • During force spells cost no MP to cast.
    • To maintain Slayer force one must spend 10% of their total MP per post. MP cannot be regained or regenerated while Slayer Force is active. Once the user of force hits 0 MP or once they choose to cancel it Slayer Force ends. If one hits 0 MP they suffer from the consequences of running out of MP as normal.



    Lineage; Curse of the White Witch:
    Name: Curse of the White Witch
    Description: There was once a village north beyond the snowy mountain pass that lived peacefully and abundantly. It was lead by a kind and just ruler, Margery the White. She was nicknamed as such because she was a caster, a powerful one at that. It is because of her that the village can sleep peacefully at night and plant crops without having to worry of them freezing or dying due to lack of basic nutrients. You see, she had placed a powerful incantation around the land which prevents would be wrong doers from entering their domain. It also keeps the weather and land in check, making their land an idealistic hideaway.
    However, their happiness did not last long for a powerful dark Magus heard of their place, the paradise in the frozen wasteland they called it. He wanted that for his own as well, so with an army of shades and demons, he invaded the village. He had a hard time breaking through the barrier but broke through he did. The powerful white witch tried her best to defend their land but because of the sheer number of enemies and with too many to protect her effort were rendered useless.  With no hope left, she did something forbidden to all white casters, and that is to use dark magic. With her new found power, she was able to turn the tides, she was able to obliterate the dark Magi and his evil horde. But it was after when she got a second glance that she realized the error of her ways. Not only did she destroy her enemies, but she also wiped out half the land and its inhabitants. Ashamed of her deed, she fled town and was never to be seen again.
    Some say she took her life as punishment of her sin, others say she regressed and turned into an old and evil crone who lives in a spooky dark forest, while others say she lived the rest of her days as a simple and normal human with her husband and children.

    Ability: Those who were descended from her line are gifted with great magic regeneration. It also allows them to use Chaos blast. The melding of light and dark magic creating pure raw power which is formless and non-elemental.  Chaos magic is effective against any type of magic and inedible to all forms of slayers. However it is weaker against steel or any form of metal. Making it less effective against physical attacks or defensive attacks made with any metal weapon or armour.
    Usage: 5% MP regeneration.
    Gains an offensive "Chaos" elemental blast attack as a signature spell(max A-rank) OR normal spell of user-rank (S-rank Max) that must be made in addition to the user’s spells in their magic.


    Unique Abilities:

    • هواء ~ Hawā'a - A secret breathing technique from Jariel's adolescent times has intertwined with his magic in beneficial harmony. By dropping his heart-rate and focusing on slow, deep breathing - even in the middle of combat - his senses strengthen. It looks like breathing in small particles of light for a single moment before going serious. This allows Jariel to intensify the brightness and prowess of his Sacred Demon Slayer Magic, granting it a passive buff of +25% to spell speed as well as +20% to his natural Magic Sensory, thus also making the user's magical senses stronger. Additionally, the user draws photons constantly through his breathing; thus, he naturally recovers +5% HP every post with this ability.

    Plot Abilities:


    • المطهر (Purification) - The user's Demon Slayer Magic can function as a cleaning tool, quickly cleaning and 'purifying' objects that the user has physical contact with. This can vary from many uses; cleaning himself or others, wiping a dusty vase off of its greyish particles with minimal effort, beating off rust off of an old iron structure with a mere touch, and turning muddy and contaminated water into its pure form of clean, ionized water again with a mere touch by the finger.
    • سطوع (Source of Light) - The user's Demon Slayer Magic is insanely bright already, but the user can casually use very sparce amounts to generate moderate light sources in forms of orbs that can be held by the user, their allies or stuck onto walls or ceilings. These lights can be turned off at the user's command.

    Description: Jariel has learned to amplify his Demon Slayer Magic with the power imprinted within his blood. The user latches a seal mixed with light energy onto the opponent's body or on any surface. The seal is of a smaller wavelength than the colors visible to the human eye and can only be spotted via magical sensing, but the attribute of light is present. Once placed on the wished target, the user can detonate it like a bomb. The explosion causes one post of damage to those hit within its range.

    Description: Jariel breathes in deeply, sucking in small orbs of Ethernano - some of them are blackened by his chaotic heritage, others are pure white by the nature of his magic. After having breathed them in, he releases a devastating breath that takes form of a ray of light... but the ray's fashion is black and white ropes entangling each other and almost drilling into its target.

    Description: The user manifests a magic circle between their hands and pulls out a 3-meter long leash of pure light. The leash can be used to whip targets with painful results, and the leash can expand upon the user's wish to reach out max spell range of its rank and type. Every successful hit with the whip not only deals damage, but it also burns away both the target's HP and MP by 5% per post when hit.

    Description: The user spawns a white, small magic circle and pulls out from it a 2 meter long spear made of pure light magic. The spear can be used both in close-range and long-range, and it can even do sharp turns mid-flight and fly like a missile at the user's command. Not only does it deal damage upon a successful hit, but it also immobilizes the hit target for the same post as being hit (then every second post after if successfully hit again by the spear) as well as pierces through armors and shields at the cost of half of its total spell damage.

    Description: The user spawns a mirror behind themselves that reveals an eerie eye. Said mirror illuminates an area around the user with its nigh-blinding light if you look directly at it, causing the user's allies to gain a +50% buff in movement speed and deal a -50% debuff in enemies' movement speed at the judgement of the user themselves. This only works on those who are caught within the area of this spell, and the light from the eye travels directly from the user's position outwards.

    Description: The user's shoulder-blades light up with a pair of magic circles making their appearance. From these circles, an arm each grows out from the user and can be used to smack the target around with. Four arms are better than two, right? Oh, and the arms can be used to hold people still in front of Jariel for one post every second post (from the post that they're successfully hit. This requires that the targets are hit once more if needed to be immobilized again).

    Description: The user stands still and prompts the target to think that they're about to move. However, the user doesn't move, and instead, a silhouette of the user reflected by what looks like rays of light from above suddenly charges out of the user's body and towards the target, intending to punch or kick said target to deal damage once per post. The light projection only deals half the total spell damage of this rank and type, but it easily passes through armors and shields with each hit and move.

    Description: The user's body is coated in a faint cloak of shining dust that starts reflecting lines of light upon each other, resembling sparks. The user lands a hit on the opponent with their hands, arms, legs or any other part of their body during this, and 50% of the total base damage is dealt. The other +50% damage inflicts the target a post after, in which every other post, +50% of the spell damage for this spell is dealt until it has dealt x2.5 of the total spell damage that this spell can put out.
