After her successful mission abroad, Cierra has returned to Fiore only to receive another offer of work straight away from an acquaintance of her previous employer. She’d accepted the job without even thinking about it and had jumped on the first train she could catch in order to travel to Oshibana, the location of her task. It made her feel so good that her name was starting to spread throughout the world and she hoped that somewhere her mother had heard of her success. The girl was becoming more powerful by the day and with each task completed, her strength, as well as her excitement levels increased. Her last job had been a lot of fun and had more than been worth the trip to Midi and the plaudits that she’d received from her temporary boss were still ringing in her ears now, much to her pleasure. Being praised and rewarded for doing what came naturally to her couldn’t have lifted her spirits event higher and she was certain that her current employer would feel the same when her task was done.

As the train reached her stop, the pink haired slayer would almost skip off of the vehicle, wanting to get into the thick of her latest mission as quickly as she could. Her job today was to ruin a wedding, a simple request but one that she knew that she’d enjoy. Cierra had never cared much for such customs and thought they were old fashioned. You didn’t need to be married in order to have fun with those that you find attractive, something that she did all the time. Her employer was actually the younger sibling of one of the betrothed and angered by the fact that their sister was being forced into a marriage by their parents. That fact only caused the teenager to feel even more compelled to get involved and she was quite looking forward to teaching the old dick heads a lesson, one that would cost them their lives. The kid had told her to kill everyone but his sister, which Cierra had readily agreed to although it meant that she was going to have to be a little sneaky in order to get the bride out of harm's way.

That being said, the girl would quickly make her way towards the church, not paying much attention to her surroundings although she noted that the town was quite nice looking. The people were friendly enough and unlucky in Midi, no one was stupid enough to try and grab hold of her. Oh no, it would be her turn to do the grabbing today. Her path to the religious building went smoothly and she was soon standing outside the place, a look of disgust soon crossing her features. She’d heard all that she needed to know about gods and holy beings from her mother and the girl was tempted to just destroy the building there and then but first, she had a job to do and then perhaps, she could have a little extra fun.

After a quick glance around to make sure the coast was clear, Cierra would then hop into a nearby bush and wait for her chance to grab the bride. She assumed that the woman would be the last to arrive as was customary and so she was going to have to play a little mind trick in order to pull it off. Thankfully, she had just the spell for that and would just need to find the precise moment to pull it off. This was going to be a blast, literally and the thought of what was about to happen sent a shiver of pleasure down her spine.

Time passed and the church would slowly fill up with people, all wearing the same boring formal wear that you’d expect at such an occasion. Suits and conservative dresses that made the pink haired slayer roll her eyes with disgust. There was not a looker among them and she soon began to huff to herself as she watched from her hiding spot. Most of the folks going in were middle aged and older, which didn’t exactly seem threatening to Cierra. This had all the hallmarks of another easy job to her and while being able to kill so many would be enjoyable, she kind of wished for a challenge now and again. Someone to fight who could get her pulse racing a little more and push her to the verge of exhaustion and death. Growing up, her mother had made her feel such sensations every time they sparred with each other and she kind of missed it now. She’d been taught to raise hell and have as much fun doing it as possible and tougher opponents were honestly more fun to toy and play with.

The sight in front of her was so warm and fuzzy that it made the girl want to throw up. Every person had the same smile on their faces that didn’t the eyes and it was obvious that everyone was just pretending to be happy with the union of the two supposed to be lovers. Just watching them was enough to show that it was complete bullshit and it almost seemed to the girl that it was more of a publicity stunt than anything or perhaps a marriage of convenience. In truth, that was very similar to her own mother’s coupling with her father, from what she’d heard. Sarisha didn’t think much of the arrogant ass hole and Cierra had grown to dislike him just as much. The man was a waste of space, who her mother had used in order to have her, as well as her sister.

Just when she thought she was going to die of boredom, a lovely black limousine appeared in front of the church and a grin would cross the slayer’s features. The car doors would open and a few bridesmaids would step out, followed by a lovely brunette woman, dressed completely in white. Cierra’s eyes lit up as she watched her from the bush, feeling an instant sense of jealousy towards the bastard who was supposed to marry her. Supposed being the key word. The ceremony would begin and the same old song and dance that always happened would take place but just when it was time for the bride to walk the aisle, Cierra would raise a hand and unleash a subtle stream of blood from her position. The spell would find its mark and become absorbed within the woman, causing the slayer’s grin to widen.

The bride’s eyes would roll back briefly before she’d suddenly stop walking and instead begin to speak, her words controlled by the mage, staring at the groom “Me? Marry you? You have got to be joking! I have no desire to be your wife and I never did. You are the most repulsive piece of dog shit that I have ever seen in my life and I would rather drop dead then spend my life with you. This was all set up just so that my father and yours could do business together and I will be damned if I am going to let that happen. Fuck this ceremony and fuck you!”

Angrily, the bride would turn on her heel and walk out of the church, leaving a stunned crowd behind. The groom would clench his fists in anger and lash out at the priest, resulting in an uproar from the bride's side of the family, resulting in angry insults to be quickly thrown between them. It would quickly turn violent again with fists and spells soon flying across the church, causing absolute carnage and making the holy place look more like a battlefield. It was complete bedlam and a perfect diversion.

The brunette bride, however, would continue to walk, unable to do anything for herself and would soon wander into Cierra’s waiting grasp. The slayer would lead the woman around the back of the church, where she found a small shed and forced the girl inside. Ripping off part of the bride’s dress, the mage would bind the woman’s wrists behind her, before commanding her to get onto her front so that she could tie her legs, before raising the girl’s arms and legs and tying them together in a tight hog tie. She would then proceed to rip off a couple more strips and bind the woman’s mouth and eyes too, leaving her completely helpless.

Once she was satisfied, the slayer would click her fingers and the spell would end, causing the woman to come back to her senses. After a few moments of confusion, the bride would figure out the situation she was in and start to struggle although there was no way that she was getting out of the mage’s ties. Cierra was well versed when it came to tying knots and was more than confident in her abilities.

“As excited as I’m getting by watching you struggle, I think you’d better stop,” Cierra said with a giggle, “You're here for your own good so be grateful. You see your brother is paying a lot of jewels in order for this wedding not to happen and I’m gonna do everything I can to make sure of that. Lie there like a good girl and I’ll take you home when this all done. I know you don’t wanna marry that ass hole anyway so I’m doing you a favour. Do me a favour and don’t go anyway, OK?”

The bride stopped struggling and simply nodded her head, seeming to understand what was happening.

“Don’t worry, I’ll play with you later and make you forget all about him,” Cierra teased, before walking out of the shed and closing it.

Hearing the ruckus that was still going on inside, the mage grinned and sprinted back around to the front of the church, before charging through the large doors. It was her turn to shed a little blood.

It was bedlam inside the church and Cierra instantly tapped into her magic, allowing her holy blood slayer magic to surround her with its power, causing her to look like a humanised version of blood, which a pair of claws would form from her hands. With a wicked laugh, she would then dart forwards and start lashing out at anyone who she got close too. The first male that she met didn’t even see her, as he was busy defending himself from someone else and before he knew it, she had had stuck her claws into his lower back, puncturing his kidneys and causing him to howl and scream. She’d follow this up by impaling him once more, finishing him off and sending him tumbling to the floor. Without a moment being wasted, she would quickly leap over his body and continue her hunt, wildly slashing out as another figure came charging towards her, causing blood to erupt from the man’s body, making a mess of his insides and causing him to collapse instantly. Her pupils would start to dilate and a blood-lust filled smirk would cross her face then. This was where she wanted to be, in the heart of battle.

There were bodies flying all over the place as the mass brawl continued and the dual slayer hadn’t expected quite so many of the congregation to be mages but as it turned out it actually helped her, as the guests seemed just as eager to take each other out. There were fire balls, lightning bolts and gusts of wind everywhere and Cierra had to constantly be on her toes in order to avoid getting hit. Rather than start unleashing her longer distance type attacks, she kept things at close quarters and just slashed and struck at anyone who got into range of her, a strategy which proved effective. Her claws constantly moving, while she sprinted and leapt like a cat, with an agility that very few could match. Another target would come into range and she would leap towards him, ploughing into him with her formidable physical strength and forcing him to the ground, before unleashing a barrage of slashes across his head and torso, turning him into a bloody pulp. These folks weren’t all that strong but there were a lot of them and as soon as she defeated one, her senses would lock onto her next victim.

Another group would soon join the fray, a dozen or so members of the wedding staff who would try to break up the fighting. It wasn’t the greatest decision and all that happened was that they were soon dragged into the battle as well, resorting in even more carnage. The church was becoming caked in blood and dead bodies and Cierra could briefly make out the visibly disgusted priest, who was trying to escape out the back way. He wasn’t an actual target that needed to die for the job but seeing him stirred her hatred towards religion and without a moment of hesitation, she’d summon a lightning javelin and hurl it in his direction. A horrible screaming would soon be heard as it made contact, causing his body to spasm and twitch as the lightning tore through his body. When it was finally over, his charred body would crash to the floor, leaving what was left of the holy man to drop to the ground.

A member of the staff would scream with rage at the sight and charge towards her, although Cierra would just smile to herself and deliver a powerful lightning enhanced roundhouse kick to the charging woman, knocking her backwards, before launching a fish shaped projectile which smashed the staff member in the face. Stopping dead in her tracks, the woman would tilt backwards, completely knocked out. The blood covered slayer would then move in quickly and finish her off with a couple of slashes from her blood claws.

Turning her gaze to survey the battlefield, she couldn’t help but notice that the parents of both the bride and groom were still untouched and the magic that they were hurling was enough to take out anyone they hit in one shot. They seemed to be the strongest of those left standing and Cierra giggled at the thought of killing them. She’d leave them till last, as she wished to make them suffer for making this farce happen in the first place. They were true pieces of shit for forcing this upon their children and she was going to make them pay for it.

A few of the wedding staff members would rally together and start working as a team and with a tilt of the head and a smile, Cierra would tap into her powers and unleash a wave of blood towards them. They would shriek with surprise as it came towards them and were pushed back up the force of the wave. She’d then raise a hand and a bolt of lightning would then strike the group from above, leaving them stunned and disoriented. Before she could finish them off though, the groom would suddenly interfere and kill them with magically enhanced strikes, his eyes filled with uncontrollable rage. He completely slaughtered them without a word, before turning to Cierra.

“Oh? Leave you waiting at the altar, did she? What a shame!” The pink haired slayer would tease, a playful look crossing her face, “I’m not surprised though, you’re an ugly piece of shit, aren't you? Who’d want to marry you anyway? She never loved you anyway, by the way, just a poor girl who was forced into it by your family. I’m gonna kill them for that, you know? After I deal with you. In fact, maybe I’ll leave you alive long enough to watch it happen, who knows?”

With a roar of rage, the groom charged towards her, his body seeming to heat up his ran, the look in his eyes speaking volumes. He wanted her dead. As he came forwards, Cierra would simply just dodge to the left, causing him to sprint right passed her and smashing head first into one of the church pews. Grinning, the slayer would then charge with lightning and do a similar thing, building up her powers as she ran and smashing him back up against the pew as he turned around. The man was an idiot and the girl started to launch a barrage of fists to his body, battering him with left and rights. Each punch caused her smile to widen and her hammer like blows were soon tearing through his rock like body. He was made of strong stuff alright but her strength was more than enough to shatter his defences.

A powerful uppercut would finish the job, leaving the groom to just wilt, sliding down to the ground, breathing heavy. After considering whether to kill him or not, Cierra simply left him there for a moment, allowing him the pleasure of watching what was going to happen next. She could feel eyes upon her and as she turned around, she came face to face with the final four people who were still alive and ready to fight. The parents of both the bride and groom.

Before any of the parents could do anything, Cierra would suddenly be struck by a lightning bolt, causing her form to change once more. She would gain a pair of cat like ears and paws, as well as a change of attire, a yellow dress taking the place of her usual outfit. Combined with her blood body, it would give her the look of a rage filled feline in the middle of a fight, which was perfect for her mood. Her body would crackle with lightning and her arms and legs would too as she activated her supportive skills, increasing her already potent damage and speed. She was more than ready for this.

“You dare ruin this ceremony and attack my son?!” roared the father of the bride, “I should cane your hide for daring to do such a thing. You have no idea what you have done here today, little bitch.”

“Oh, I know,” Cierra answered with a grin, “I’ve ruined your pathetic little scam and saved a damsel in distress. What a sexy one she is too. I’m looking forward to playing with her once this is all said and done.”

Grinning, she would inhale and unleash a powerful blast of holy blood from her mouth that would rocket towards her enemies. The father of the groom would manage to get out of the way but rather selfishly leave his wife to take the blow instead, hurling her backwards and smashing against the church wall. She would then quickly summon a bolt of lightning which would strike down at the bride’s family in order to stun them briefly, leaving her with the groom’s father for now. Moving quickly, she’d move towards him and quickly dodge as he fired a ball of magical ice towards her, before leaping towards him and catching him with a vicious attack from her claws, cutting him across the chest and causing blood to pour out. With a giggle, she would follow up with a perfectly place lightning kick to temple which would catch him in the jaw, before finishing off her combination with one final slash across his throat, a fatal strike which killed him instantly.

A scream of anguish would come from behind her as his wife and the groom’s mother quickly came forward, brandishing a sword of flame, swinging it from left to right and releasing balls of flame from the tip. Relying on her instincts, Cierra would quickly turn into a pool of blood, allowing her to dodge the projectiles and reform behind the woman. The lightning cat would then launch a blood covered fist, catching the woman in the chest, before grabbing a hold of the woman’s blade and impaling her with her own weapon. To finish her off, the dual slayer would then pull the sword back out and decapitate the woman, sending her head flying like a football.

Her ears twitched and she spun on her heel to find the bride’s parents recovering from their paralysis, neither of them looking pleased with what had happened and blistering with rage. However, the father of the bride did at least have a little more courage and willingly stood in front of his wife.

“All right, you have won,” he said angrily, “I do not know what caused you to wish to commit such an atrocity but please, spare my wife and at least tell us who sent you to perform such a task.”

“Your son,” Cierra answered, tilting her head to the side, “He never did approve of this and he felt so strongly about it that he was willing to pay me a lot of jewels to stop it. That’s it.”

“You are lying,” The mother said, “He would never pay a mercenary to do this, I cannot believe it.”

“Believe it lady,” the slayer answered, “You should have actually given your daughter a say in the matter and not forced her into this. Don’t worry though, she’s still alive and tied up in the church shed.”

The shock on the faces of the two parents was priceless and they didn’t even try to defend themselves in the end. They turned to each other and after one final kiss, created a sword of ice and lightning respectively and impaled themselves, committing dual suicide rather than dying by Cierra’s hands. Their bodies would collapse to the floor and fade away to nothing, leaving Cierra as the last person left.

After taking one final look at the blood stained church, she would then leave the place and return to the shed, where she’d release the girl from her hog tie although she kept the rest of her restraints on. The bound woman didn’t complain and even began to giggle behind her gag as Cierra explained the situation to her, seeming to be rather pleased with how things had gone as she’d now inherited her parents estate. With her job completed, the pink haired mage would quietly make her way out of the town, deciding to rather ironically carry the woman in a bridal carry as Cierra returned the woman to her brother.

As the pair of them wandered off, Cierra’s voice could cheerfully be heard as she started to sing…

    “Here comes the bride…”
