A series of 52 Tarot-sized throwing cards. Rectangular shape with strong paperwork on them, along with beautiful illustrations of Tarot shown both right-side-up and upside down. The Back of the cards are of a starry design, with the guild symbol on the backs of them... depending what wizard guild the holder is in. The card backs tend to change to her whim as well depending on where she is in life.
"Nothing Up My Sleeve": - B Rank (Lower for Rank)
Effect: The Tarot Cards act not only as mediums for Temperance's Magic, but also storage containers for magic power. Between the cards, they act as a magic battery capable of storing up to 200 (B Rank boost equvilant) MP, which starts at 0. The caster may freely channel their own internal MP into the cards to store for whatever they need. For use of Magic, it can be used to cast spells when she has no MP left or in areas where magic is 'restricted'.
"Wildcard": - C+ Rank (Lower for Rank)
Range: 45 Meters
Speed: 45 MPS
Duration: 6 Posts
Damage: 90 HP
Effect: The chaotic magic of the Tarot allows her to freely apply elemental powers to her physical cards to use in melee and throwing combat. adding extra damage to her attacks. Per activation, she can imbune her cards she throws with elemental damage of choice, dealing spell damage in place of the weapon's damage. Only site-cardinal elements such as fire, water, wind, earth, lightning, poison, metal, light and darkness can be applied to this.
(Ranks up to User Rank Caps at S.)
"Cardistry": - B Rank
Range: Multi-Target Rank Range
Speed: Rank MPS
Duration: 1 Post
Effect: The use of Cardistry is the key tool in the use of Tarot Magic, from how to launch cards with accuracy to the execution of the spells used for them. As such, weapon damage and this technique will always reach equals Rank range and spell speed for throwing damage. (Current range & speed is B rank) While used to launch and place her specific card spells, she may freely use this also to not only slash at targets or hit them with cards-- but upon the targets she uses, she may position the cards to ensnare target enemies for 1 post by pinning their limbs and body with the cards around their clothing or body to a surface (cannot use back to back). Target is physically bound and unable to break free till after said moment. Target must be hit for effect to work and can only be bound one post, every other post.
Fortune's Reach: - B Rank
Effect: The ability to use magical cards often comes at the cost of having the need for keen accuracy to sling cards at targets. Combining her skill and magic, she is able to project her spells further and with greater accuracy than average. Her Spell Range is increased by 50% (60% at S Rank), and able to conjure a great deal of good luck via it, sometimes causing unexpected good fortune for her. If an effect would try to debuff her own spell range, she can pay the same MP cost, in order to negate it.
Swift-Casting: - B Rank
Effect: Speed is key when using cards, between how they are hidden,drawn, and thrown. The best benefit of card magic is that most of the spells are already inscribed, enchanted, and cast on the individual cards to make spellcasting faster and easier for the user. Between her own magic and skill of sleight of hand, she can cast her spells faster than most. Her own Spell Speed increases by 50% (60% at S Rank). If an enemy technique tries to lower her own Spell Speed, she can pay the same MP cost, in order to negate it.
