Alicia felt a gentle push from behind her, it was most likely the man who accompanied her. She turned to face him but he was gone. Alicia glanced around and took a deep breath and decided to approach her sister despite the mass of people slowly gathering around the field marshal. She weaved through the sea of bodies trying her best not to bump into anybody. Alicia recognized quite a few notable mages that were featured on the monthly magazine, seeing them in person was almost surreal. She sighed and gathered all the mental strength she could muster. It had been sometime since she had talked to her sister, it was not because they didn't get along, it was because due to the responsibilities Serilda had acquired many people had grown to rely on her. Alicia knew very well that it was only to be expected, after all her older sister was the most reliable when it came to all the siblings, Alicia had admired her sister wishing to be like Serilda in many aspects.

Just as Alicia broke through the crowd, she caught the proposal just in the nick of time. Alicia stood there awestruck, but the sound of celebration snapped her back to reality. A small grin formed on Alicia's lips "Goodness... he actually did it" Alicia chuckled to herself. She looked at her older sister and her fiancee. Alicia had already gave her silent approval the first time Serilda introduced Mythal to the family. Mythal was able to make her sister happy and that was more than enough for Alicia to fully support the relationship. Alicia moved to the side subtlety making her way towards her sister and Mythal. She patiently waited until everyone had their chance to speak to the Field Marshal and her soon to be husband. As soon as the opening presented itself, Alicia approached Serilda and Mythal. "Congratulations to you Field Marshal." Alicia smiled at her Serilda and Mythal. "I can't wait till our family hears about this." Alicia chuckled softly, she then gave her sister a warm smile. "I'm happy for you Seri.... and Mr. Ragnos... Thank you for making my sister happy." Alicia's face grew stern for second as she said  "you better keep her happy, or else...." She stared at Mythal, suddenly a cheeky grin formed from he lips. "Just kidding, Congrats again you two! " She chuckled.

"Dance?!" Dela gawked, looking at him like he'd just offered her dog poop on a plate instead of the fudge cake. "Like I'd dance with you, you filthy--" She cut herself off by cramming some of the cake in her mouth and munching with narrow eyes. He was incapable of reading her, it seemed. As if she didn't already know this. He'd been oblivious to every single thing she threw at him, so what made her think he'd pick up on why she was in a mood. The drinks they'd continued to consume only served to keep her from leaving this dumpster fire party.

Now that her third sheet was officially flying in the wind with the other two on a sugary breeze, she was finally less grouchy, though still mouthy. Well, less mouthy once she realized it was really happening whether she agreed or not. It was like she had whiplash. One minute he was pissing her off by depriving her attention, the next he was giving her all the attention, though too little too late. She'd been quite peeved that he interrupted her I-hate-love-time-to-shove-this-chocolate-cake-down-my-gullet episode mid-slice, and she barely had the time to wipe the icing from her face with a cloth napkin before they were on the floor. Hopefully, no one tripped on that napkin she dropped. Or maybe they should. That would be hilarious!

To her surprise, Cillian didn't mean goofy flailing in relative proximity to one another, but rather actual couples dancing. It was a little old-fashioned-- ironic for someone like her to think that-- and silly, but he was surprisingly good. Even drunk Dela noticed that fact. This was actually pretty sweet of him, which eased her wrath enough to ease into a silly smile. Alright, so it didn't take much for him to win her back over. As they spin and twirled, her bright blues remained on his, crinkled with joy as she laughed and giggled. She hardly had to do anything besides stay upright as he guided her around the dance floor. Her own rhythm was still very much alive, and it seemed her clumsiness was either eased by dancing or by drinking copious amounts of alcohol. Secretly, Dela was a good enough dancer that no amount of substance could rob her of that. The blonde could keep up and she was having a great time, but...she was getting so hot. Was it hot in here? Was it the temperature of the room? Was it being so close to him? This fabric was too tight. Too close.

It had to go.

In one of the twirls, she slipped one arm out of one of the slim straps of her dress with the swiftness of a toddler snatching a handful of dog food. The dress was slinky and tight...when it was held in place. As the top drooped down, Dela was rewarded with a cool breeze on too much skin for a work party, but no no, it was not time to start. The other strap had to go. It all had to gooo. "Nnngh, Cilli, I'm so hoooooot," she whined, pausing the dancing to wriggle out of the other strap. "I can't have fun when it's so hooooooot...."
