As Illya finished her song, she felt deaf to the applause coming from the small crowd that had formed around her. Despite the appearance of such a crowd, she was unhappy with her performance. I screwed up that triplet arpeggio in measure eight. Her thoughts bounced around in that attitude, her external appearance showing her smiles and her speaking with her mind elsewhere in the clouds, while her internalized thoughts were flooded with self-criticisms on her performance. Several of the onlookers dropped in a few jewels due to her busking in the street, which Illya made sure to thank them for, though she still figured if she had a better work, it would have gotten more of the crowd. Perhaps it was simply greed, perhaps still being used to having funds outside of her concerts, but she still wished for more funds to get more instruments and music for her times that she had off.
As the crowd began to disperse, one person of note stood out. While many of the citizens that had been in the crowd seemed fairly normal, looking like an average person, this one, quite frankly, amidst all the normalcy, stood out like a sore thumb. Their dress was far from abnormal, but the pink hair and the slightly distant look drew Illya's attention. While there was certainly the appearance that drew attention, perhaps more interesting was the slight magical aura she could lightly perceive through her lacrima eye. More of the crowd began dissipating as the person that had caught her eye still stood still, Illya doing her best to politely dismiss the others that still tried interacting with her. As citizens of Cedar tried asking who she was, Illya began packing away her instrument and her music. After what felt like an eternity, she finally managed to break through the remaining members of the crowd that had formed. She wrapped the straps of her cases around her shoulders and grabbed her folder of music.
"Hiya! Uh...sorry if it seems weird that I'm the performer and I'm going up to meet someone I've never met after my performance, but...are you a wizard?" She extended a hand. "My name's Illya Pegasus. I'm also a wizard, part of Fairy Tail, but I don't really know how to use magic all too well."
She smiled, offering a hand to the wizard, awkwardly leaning back so as to not tip over from her cases and balancing all her music in one arm. Even if she knew nothing about this stranger, she was always inclined to trust others. She always thought it best to be friends with as many people as possible. Her magic was focused on supporting others, and her work in waitressing led her to always believe the best in others.
