Description & Appearance:
Raider's Calling isn't exactly a normal weapon. There are several theories as to why strange things appear to always befall the hapless owner of this weapon. The first official recorded case was of a well-respected explorer who had been given the weapon as a gift from a dear archaeologist friend, who in turn had found it in a tomb when he had led an excavation in Desierto. He said that, from what he understood, the blade came from a respected warrior that had died in battle. The explorer treasured the gift and took it with him on many explorations across the lands, but he started to feel the need to spill blood. It turned out that the warrior who previously owned the weapon was indeed a warrior of great renown once upon a time ... . Over time, however, the warrior's personality had changed into that of a ruthless warmonger that had been killed by his own men to protect not only their own lives, but also those of the ones they cared for.
The reason for the personality change has never been explained, though. Some believe it is because of some strange curse that was placed on the creator of the blade, others believe that it was because blood of vile and evil people where used to create the blade. That being said, there are those that disagreed with the theory that the blood of evil was used, but that of innocent and pure people who now look for their revenge where they can find it. The truth, though, has been lost in the mists of time, and whatever records there may have been would likely be scattered to dust or destroyed by one of the blades owners to keep its dark secrets just that ... secret.
