    Rhyfelwr Coetir Magic Tenor

    Magic Name: Rhyfelwr Coetir
Magic Type: Primary: Requip // Auxiliary: Ancient
Description: Though initially a magic created by a nomadic race of human warriors known as the Kendov that moved to Fiore hundreds of years ago when a dragon sank their continent into the ocean, it has gone through quite a bit of change. Originally known as the "Sahrot Thur", it was a type of magic that connected the Kendov people with one another and strengthened the magic whenever it was passed down to a new Kendov warrior. Also passing down the weapons belonging to this magic down, it eventually reached Solmar Starshade, who is the last living descendant of Kendovian blood from his mother's side of the family. Due to this, Solmar eventually learned how to bring forth the greatsword Sunvaar Kriid, a weapon meant to slay the dragon that sunk the ancient Kendov homeland so many years ago.

It wasn't until Solmar ventured deep into the Greenscape, a parallel dimension existing alongside that of Earthland, that his magic got pushed to a greater level. When his sword was to make contact with the Heartstone, a massive construct of roots and emerald filled with life giving energies, it was reshaped and strengthened into an altogether more powerful blade known as Caladbolg. Since his Demon Slaying magic had already adapted itself to be used along with Solmar's original Kendov weapon, the newly mutated Caladbolg is even better at channeling the power. This magic did not only make Solmar physically stronger than he was before, it also allowed him to better control a certain facet of his Demon Slaying magic. When Solmar merged back with his demonic half, Vetis took on his true form by becoming a secondary blade mirroring Caladbolg, a blade known as Fragarach.

Though powerful when used apart, it is only when used in unison that the twin blades allow Solmar to harness their full might. Where one can devour spells, the other can regurgitate them, allowing them to both protect their wielder from harm and send the attack back at a newly designated target. Being strongly linked to the natural world, the second portion of this magic has to do with controlling nature itself. As all of Solmar's magics are intertwined with one another, this portion of the magic correlates directly with the Mabynnogyon, allowing the young mage to understand and speak the language of nature and use it through his spells that can turn the very roots and branches of his surroundings into his allies. More so, it also allows these two magics to work with one another for some interesting outcomes. Just as the Mabynnogyon can store spells, so can Rhyfelwer Coetir be used to store spells of the nature/plant variety.

    Unique Abilities:

    • Lightspeed: Due to the ancient spells being of the light variety, these spells can move it rather incredible speeds. More importantly, using these spells and getting better at controlling them has allowed Solmar to apply these same principles to his other spells as well. This means all of his spells are increased in speed. Spell Speed +60%.
    • Blink of an Eye: Because of the light magic flowing through his body and the fact that it is tightly knit into almost all of his spells, Solmar's nervous system adapted to it in order to maximize both his spell output and mastery, as well as his own use of these magics through means of close ranged combat. As such, his movement speed has been increased and his reaction time has been decreased. Speed +60%.
    • Over in a Flash: Mastery of using his sword as a medium for his magic or simply casting his spells by hand has increased his output by quite a bit. By first training until he knew all there was to figure out about light magic, or rather his own light magic, this increased level of control over the flow of ether allowed Solmar to increase the damage of his spells. Spell Damage +60%.

    Passive Abilities:

    • S Rank: Speed +60%.
    • S Rank: Spell Damage +60%.
    • S Rank: Spell Damage +60%.

Description: Fragarach looks a lot like its counterpart Fragarach, and for good reason, considering the two are considered twin swords made from the same entity, the ultra greatsword once known as Sunvaar Kriid. Where Fragarach is the blade that represents the darker side of his bloodline, Caladbolg represents the brighter, empowering side of it, which is actively represented in both ornaments and coloration. Being somewhat of an opposite in appearance to Fragarach, Caladbolg has a primarily silver look to the steel, though there are patterns near the center that are meant to resemble roots and fungal hypha under the ground. As the guard and the center portion of the blade are covered by this pattern, it almost distracts from the tree symbol located right above the guard itself. Finally, the tip of the blade is not a sharp point but is rather broad, possessing another cutting edge that widens out and angles back towards the blade from the sides.

    Gwaed Tywyll:

    Name: Gwaed Tywyll
    Rank: Artifact+
    Type: Body armor
    Proof of purchase: -
Description: A unique type of Requipped armor, Gwaed Tywyll is not summoned from an alternate dimension or across time and space from a storage facility. Existing in a liquid form inside of Solmar’s very blood, it is bonded directly to the Fomorian cells, getting stronger the more cosmic corruption it devours. Intricately linked to his demon slaying magic, it takes on several perks that might make it seem angelic, more angelic than it in fact is. A radiant and regal golden armor cladding Solmar in segmented plates from top to bottom in appearance, it is surprisingly light and flexible. Being magical in origin, it was forged by fae to be used by a Fomorian warlord known as Balor. Because of how powerful he was, the armor was not bestowed by any physical perks, instead possessing various perks and abilities that connect to one’s magic and shape accordingly to it.

By adjusting to the wearer, Gwaed Tywyll manages to fill in some of the gaps in terms of potential weaknesses they might have. For instance, the fiery wings sprouting from the back of the armor allow Solmar to take to the skies and fight more formidably in different situations. When the armor is called forth, a black liquid will burst forth from Solmar’s body, wrapping around him and crystalizing to take the shape of the armor. Remaining malleable and even liquid in some parts along the interior of the armor, it adds to the overall mobility of the armor and connects it to Solmar on a far greater level than your basic armor would be capable of.

Possessing great amounts of power that only further grow the more it feeds on other similar substances, it strengthens the host as well. So when the armor is taken from its dormant stage and covers Solmar’s body, his Spell Damage is increased by +100%.

Tapping into residual demon slayer mana inside of his body, this results in the formation of various fiery tendrils sticking out of his back to take on the shape of almost angelic wings. These powers allow the armor itself, as well as the rest of his body to move and fly more freely and nimbly, which is not what one would expect would happen to someone wearing plated armor. Put in simpler terms, this increases his physical speed by 70%.

As the connection to the armor is established through both physical and magical contact, if his body is ever stopped from moving, his mind can still will the armor to keep him moving all the same. As such, Gwaed Tywyll weakens immobilizing effects of all sources by 50%.

While donning his armor, Requipping Caladbolg causes it to be assimilated into the golden armor. This allows him an edge in battle as he can choose to manifest the weapon from his gauntlets (only one at a time) to turn what seems like a normal punch into a stab. This does nothing to change or alter the damage of the weapon as the base damage of Caladbolg (137 damage). Type: Area of Effect

    Range: 600 meters
    Speed: 500 meters per second
    Duration: 25 turns
Description: The Wood of kings, or Weald of Frenhinoedd, uses a tremendous amount of magical power in order to cause rampant growth within the soil, causing a massive number of roots and branches to rise up in a wide radius around Solmar. Within moments after being created, the mass of roots and branches will aim to entangle and crush those standing within the area as they grow. While in growth, the mass takes on a wide variety of flowers and buds, as well as thorns, trees and branches. Growing as far up into the sky as they grow wide, this forest of flowers, plants and trees is worthy of the name given to it. Because the goal is to keep people within the range of the spell, the furthest reaches on all sides grow almost completely shut like walls, boxing everyone in and keeping unwanted personnel out.

Once the forest is fully grown, it will move every once in a while, aiming to stun/immobilize every two posts as it does so by constricting targets caught by the moving branches, thorns and roots. As the woodland mass comes into contact with someone, it can drain 5% of their magic power and health away every post, using it as sustenance for the forest. Aside from reaching to grab, restrict and drain enemies, the wood of kings also creates illusionary beings that take on the shape of Solmar. Though they can't physically hurt anyone, they can be very distracting when forced to fight the real deal in close combat.  As these illusions simply pass through others like mist, they can't be harmed and can't do harm. Finally, the pollen within the wood of kings act to mask Solmar's presence. Though they do not hide him from sight, they do conceal his scent and his magic power, meaning the only probable means of sensing him are based on sound and sight.

    Name: Brodorol o Goed

    Type: Single target
    Healing: 140hp
    Range: Self/Touch
    Speed: 450 meters per second
    Duration: 2 posts
Description: Brodorol o Goed, or Native of trees, is a spell that lets Solmar tap into the life giving properties of nature in order to restore his body and heal his (or a person he can physically touch) wounds, or that of another. When activated, white energy will start radiating from his body, most notably his wounds as they close up and regenerate so fast that it is visible to the naked eye. In the case of lost limbs, they can either be picked up and reattached or completely grow back from the severed stump. Due to the vastness of this spell, it does not just heal, but also removes status effects such as poisons and other debilitating effects of similar or lower rank (up to H rank) in the process. A single negative effect can be cleansed per post while an equal amount of MP has to be paid to match the spell that caused said negative effect. While most on the surface healing takes place in the first post, limbs will take up to two posts to fully grow back. This spell ignores effects that cancel out healing of equal or lower rank for the duration of this spell.

Description: Derwydd Galw, or Druid's Call, is a simple spell that allows Solmar to use the combined abilities of the Mabynnogyon and Rhyfelwr Coetir, letting him read the flow of ethernano while adjusting himself to it. Allowing him to communicate with plant life and most living creatures through an unspoken language of nature magic, he can use this magic to ask animals for directions, ask them to lead the way or talk to the trees for guidance. Though only effective within places where nature is prominent, there are still chances that an animal will outright refuse or that the plants will not respond to him.

Description: Uisge an Earraich, or Spring Rain is a spell formed by drawing on the water spell "needle rain" from within the mabynnogyon. By doing so, Solmar forms branches either from existing trees or out of the ground itself which possess all manner of brightly colored flowers. From these flowers, a light drizzle will blanket the area directly underneath them. These rain drops do not injure, but in fact restore one's health and heal wounds. Additionally, this rain also washes away negative status effects. A single negative effect of up to A rank can be cleansed per post while an equal amount of MP has to be paid to match the spell that caused said negative effect.

    Name: Mabynnogyon: Droighaenn an Talamh

Description: Droighaenn an Talamh, or Earthbound Thorns is a spell formed by drawing on the earth spell "spiked fist" from within the mabynnogyon. Opening up the ground and causing vines to burst up from it, the thorns aim to pierce through their foe from below. Having the ability to pierce through defenses at the cost of losing 50% of their total damage, they are quite potent even when weakened. However, if they do hit, they drain 5% magic power from the target.

Hi Vetis, I'm Shane and I will be one doing the grading your magic. No worries, I'm new but I'm not doing this alone. All edits or suggestions will be made in this color.

Vetis wrote:Magic Name: Sahrot Thur ("Mighty Overlord")
    Magic Type: Requip (Solitary)
    Magic Description:
Having found this magic while working a job for an archaeological society searching the western portion of Fiore for traces of ancient civilizations, Solmar came across the grave of a once-powerful Chieftain's tomb. With help from the archaeologists, it was learned that the race the chieftain and his men belonged to were one consisting of great warriors and hunters called the Kendov, who used no real magic of their own. Instead, they relied on magical artifacts, their instincts and the strength of their bodies and will. Hunting and killing the largest of creatures, not even flinching when facing dragons or demons, many of them have gone down in the annals of their people as heroes or even demi-gods. Passing their armor and weaponry down to those that came after them, many of them were eventually entombed when their people became integrated with the people of Fiore. Remaining in their resting place until found, these armors and weapons can be bound with the wielder of the Sahrot Thur. Some notable wielders of the Sahrot Thur are stated below:

    Sahrot Thur Wielders:

    "Sahlunin the Chieftain"
Sahlunin was believed to be the first ever to lead the Kendov, considered to be the avatar of one of their war gods. Wielding a mighty two handed blade called Sunvaar Kriid, he and his kin slew many of the ancient inhabitants of Fiore as they started claiming lands for themselves to cultivate. As their ancestral homeland had sunk into the sea due to the careless use of ancient magic, Sahlunin led a few hundred men and women across the ocean and fought for them until his last day on earth. Before his death, he launched various raids, had various settlements and strongholds built and even led the charge during various small scale wars against the ancient Fiorans. Eventually being responsible for the signing of a peace treaty between the two people, he took the first step towards the people of Kendov and Fiore living together in peace on the same continent. Though there were still some of his own people who believed that they could dominate Fiore, as were there people who believed the Kendov had no right to be there in the first place, he died believing he had done the right thing for his people.

P.S: Due to how little is known about it, more will be added here as new weapons, armor and other items belonging to the Sahrot Thur are uncovered during Solmar's travels.

Once a type of magic that was known to all of the Kendov, it was also the only type of magic that they knew. Calling it a connection they shared with their gods rather than magic, they used their specially crafted gear in order to fight and raid along the shores of old Fiore as their own ancestral lands had sunk beneath the waves due to the aftermath of a battle with one of the largest dragons of their time. Seeking to make a new place their home, the few hundred that survived were all capable of bringing out a weapon and an armor they believed was blessed by the gods. As the sole remaining user of this magic, Solmar is well aware that there is really nothing divine about the weapons or armor he wields through it, though it will come as no surprise that it is in fact very powerful in the right hands.

All weapons and armor of Kendov making can only be activated or called forth by the wilder of the Sahrot Thur, this being how they kept others from looting their gravesites and tombs. Ranging from heavy to medium armors, the primary weapons used by the Kendov were swords, axes, spears and war hammers. Not being the kind to hunt with bow and arrow, they preferred to do their hunting and their fighting up close and personal, like all real men should. Many of the weapons and armors alike were crafted in a manner that allowed them to fight against the magicians of the old days in Fiore, as well as magic wielding monsters such as dragons and demons. But at the end of the day, the power behind the weapons themselves is often enough to face down any monster, magical or not.

    Unique abilities:
Mul Keindren: All those who have wielded the Sahrot Thur before him have all had one thing in common, a tremendous amount of strength that allowed them to fight swiftly while wielding large weapons and heavy armor. This physical strength is passed down through the bloodline, moving from one wielder to the next, awakening as they unlock this magical power for themselves. Being of Kendov descent, Solmar too has the kind of physical strength that allows him to wrestle a bear and to wield a massive slab of steel with one hand.
    +50% Strength

Venbonir: As the only living Kendov that made it across the ocean, quickly adjusting to a new land was of the essence. To this extent, those in possession of the Sahrot Thur adjusted even faster as their very magic along with their willpower and ferocity in the hunt and in battle caused the rest of their body to adapt to this lifestyle. Even now, new wielders of the Sahrot Thur have this passed won to them as well, allowing them to move faster than most, even while wielding very heavy equipment.
    +50% Speed

Solitary Requip Benefit: Can have up to 4 Requip spells active at once.
-> This is just a suggestion but it would be better if you can put this somewhere near where you state your type of magic. Doesn't really matter with this position though.

    Description:
    Appearance:

    Rhyfelwr Coetir Magic Skullk10
Literally translating to Monster Slayer, Sunvaar Kriid is a weapon so heavy, most human beings would need to carry it with them on a cart, making it far too heavy for them to use it in battle as it weighs around 25 kilograms. Created from a special kind of steel for the Kendov chieftain Sahlunin, the actual blade itself is 165 centimeters long, possessing a hilt of twenty centimeters. Due to the sheer size of the weapon that stands at a total size of 185 centimeters, Sunvaar Kriid is a bit taller than Solmar himself. Aside from being incredibly large and heavy, the fuller of the blade itself is pitch black, making it look like a massive slab of black iron in the right lighting. The grip wrapping around the hilt was made out of white silk that provides the wielder with so much of it (grip) that they might even swing this heavy blade with a single hand without it flying out of their hand.
    Abilities:
    Name: Dreadful
    Rank: B
    Type: Single Target/RP Only
    Damage: N/a
    Range: Melee
Speed: Melee --> Should be changed to 'Self'
    Duration: Passive
Description: This massive slab of metal radiates with an aura of dread, almost acting as a warning to monsters, demons and other creatures not to bother attacking him. Though some are only enraged by what the weapon represents, many are scared off by the Monster Slayer.

    Name: Monster Slayer
    Rank: B
    Type: Single Target/Support
    Damage: N/a
    Range: Melee
Speed: Melee --> Should be changed to 'Self'
    Duration: Passive
Description: Though not originally a magical weapon, the blade has slain many humans, monsters, demons and even an actual dragon, thus tempering it in ether-rich blood and bestowing magical properties upon it. This allows Sunvaar Kriid to deal damage normally to humans, monsters, demons, dragons and spirits alike, even being capable of hitting ethereal or incorporeal targets and doing exactly as the name of the weapon implies, slay it.
--> You should identify this spell as RP only instead of Support.
--> And if you do that, you have an additional spell slot to be used.

    Name: Kendov Craftsmanship
    Rank: B
    Type: Single Target/Support
    Damage: N/a
    Range: Melee
Speed: Melee --> Should be changed to 'Self'
    Duration: Passive
Description: Sunvaar Kriid was originally forged for a powerful Chieftain who was renowned for his great deeds and even greater deeds left undone. As such, the blacksmith put extra effort into folding the steel for this barbaric weapon, after which the Chieftain immortalized it by using it to slay a dragon. This weapon was made so well that it increases the damage of melee hits and magical attacks channeled through it by 45%.
--> You get an advanced spell as you are using an Artifact(+) weapon for this Requip. I'm assuming based on the numbers you have here, this is an advanced spell? If yes, you will need to label it correctly. If no, then you only have 60% to distribute.

    Name: Oversized Strikes
    Rank: B
    Type: Single Target/Support
    Damage: N/a
    Range: Melee
Speed: Melee --> Should be changed to 'Self'
    Duration: Passive
Description: Due to the fact that Sunvaar Kriid is basically an oversized slab of sharpened metal that weights an awful lot, there is very little that can stand against it and hope to remain intact. Added to this is the magic woven into the steel when forging the blade, allowing the blade to render magical defenses and anti-piercing effects of equal or lower rank that it comes into contact with null and void.
--> If you want to keep it a passive spell, you may only have Armor Penetration effects on your melee damage.
--> If you want to have anti-piercing effects to support a melee attack or spell attack, then you will need to make it active and have it follow the rules for negation effects as specified in the magic rules

    Name: Kinetic Energy Redistribution
    Rank: B
    Type: Single Target/Support
    Damage: N/a
    Range: Melee
Speed: Melee --> Should be changed to 'Self'
    Duration: Passive
Description: When Sunvaar Kriid is used to block other melee attacks, it stores up portions of the kinetic energy inside of the massive bulky blade in the form of stacks. For each attack blocked, the next melee strike performed by the greatsword is increased by +5% strength per stack. These stacks are lost when the next strike of the blade hits a solid or magical surface, setting the amount of stacks back to 0. In total, Sunvaar Kriid can store up an amount of stacks equal to +50% strength.
--> You actually have a downside to this spell (having to take damage to build up the strength buff) that you can use to increase the total buff to +75% if you want.

I made all of the changes, but i'll still be adding in a sixth ability because I followed your advice and made one of the abilities into an RP Only. Though I still have a few questions, and things to state:

    Kendov Craftsmanship:
    - I changed this to advanced, though there lies a question there. Since the blade enhances attacks channeled through it, how high would the % boost be at Advanced, and how high would it be at Normal?

    Oversized Strikes:
    - Changed to just armor penetration on physical attacks.

    Kinetic Energy Redistribution:
    - Changed from 50% to 75%

This weapon was made so well that it increases the damage of melee attacks by 60% (meaning +60% strength).

    Name: Oversized Strikes
    Rank: B
    Type: Single Target
    Damage: N/a
    Range: Melee
    Speed: Self
    Duration: Passive
Description: Due to the fact that Sunvaar Kriid is basically an oversized slab of sharpened metal that weights an awful lot, there is very little that can stand against it and hope to remain intact. Added to this is the magic woven into the steel when forging the blade, allowing the blade to penetrate physical armor of equal or lower rank that it comes into contact with null and void. When doing so, only 50% of the total damage gets through to the target.

    Name: Kinetic Energy Redistribution
    Rank: B
    Type: Single Target
    Damage: N/a
    Range: Melee
    Speed: Self
    Duration: Passive
Downside: Must first block an attack before it stores a stack.
In total, Sunvaar Kriid can store up an amount of stacks equal to +75% strength.

Hey Solmar, you know me. So I'm here to grade this for you, all my edits will be in this colour. Bump when yu've made the changes and I'll take a look~

Edit:: First of all, I've noticed you have more than one magic, as a rule all second and thirds magics must be achieved either a training thread or purchased in the magic shop. These must also be linked in the magic themselves, if this is your first magic please state so, otherwise be sure to include the aforementioned link.

Additionally, in accordance with the new magic rules, there is now a new part of the template that requires completion in regards to spell categories, I have gone ahead and put these in the relevant parts of the magic in where they need to be added.

    Spoiler:

@Solmar wrote:Magic Name: Swordsman of Light
Magic Type: Requip: Primary // Ancient: Auxiliary

By tapping into that forgotten portion of the slayer's power, it allows Solmar to not just control fire augmented by light, but also light itself.

Through the Ancient Magic that accompanies Caladbolg, one can achieve many interesting feats such as photosynthesis, creating constructs of hard light, blinding flashes of pure brilliance and even rays that burn as intense as fire, but are much more concentrated and controlled. Due to Feykroreyth's guidance, Solmar quickly learned to control his new weapon after learning more about the power of the Heartstone and studying the flow of life giving energies passing all throughout the Greenscape. It is also because of this that Solmar has finally learned to sense magical power within an individual, something he had never properly learned to do before. In short, this magic further connects Solmar to his slayer capabilities and opens up new avenues for exploration. Now called "Cleddyfwr goleuni" by the dragon, Solmar sticks to the common tongue translation, which is Swordsman of light.

S Rank magic get 15 total normal spells, 1/4 of this is 3.75 and as a rule we tend to round this down. Meaning unless you purchase additional spells slots, you need to remove one of these. If you do decide to buy additional spells, you must include a proof of purchase.

    • S Rank: Speed +60%.
    • S Rank: Spell Damage +60%.
    • S Rank: Spell Speed +60%.
    • S Rank: Magic Power +60%.

Primary Benefit: Can have up to 3 Requip spells active at once. Access to Refined Requip.
    Auxiliary Benefit: +15% to Strength

    Refined Requip:

    Name: Caladbolg
Rank: S+ Edit:: Refined Requips capp at S rank, please amend this.
    Type: Requip/Weapon
Durability: 405hp Edit:: Lower this to 270HP.
Damage: 207hp Edit:: Lower this to 137.5HP.

    Spoiler:

    Name: Caladbolg
    Rank: Artifact+
    Type: Greatsword
    Proof of purchase: Page 14, Post 331 & 332
    Description:
    Appearance:

    Rhyfelwr Coetir Magic Q6tk2j10

Once known as Sunvaar Kriid, the Kendovian name for Monster Slayer, the originally 185 centimeters long ultra greatsword weighing 25 kilograms had originally been made to kill the dragon that had sank their ancestral homelands into the ocean. Created from twelve smaller swords belonging to fallen warriors molten down and reforged as one, this blade stood at the pinnacle of Kendov craftsmanship. After Solmar took on the sword by accident and gradually learned how to unlock what the magical weapon was truly capable of, he used it to kill elementals, monsters, extraplanar beings and even creatures deeming themselves gods. However, upon taking the blade into the Greenscape, the weapon took on greater levels of power as the being standing at the core of that world took it upon itself to bestow not only a portion of its own power upon the blade, but also used a scale from the nature dragon Feykroreyth in order to morph and the weapon itself into what it is now.

Mutating the very metal from which it was made by merging it with the scale of this massive dragon and using a fraction of the lifeblood that powered an entire planet, science can't explain exactly what the mineral this new weapon itself was made of would be called. No longer being just a slab of iron, this new blade possesses a handle, a guard and a fuller that seems to be made from the scale material of this dragon with what seems like claws sticking out of the edges of the guard. The pommel itself seems to be a ruby, but is in fact a fraction of the Heartstone itself merged into the weapon. Finally, the sharp cutting edges are sticking out of the fuller, making it look like the scale material has actually grown across the metal. To make the sword easier to wield, it has been sized back to being 160 centimeters in length and weighing 20 kilograms.
    Abilities:

Edit:: Whilst Plot abilities are allowed, it really isn't necessary to have entire spells formated for them. This is optional, however, I would advise that you simply incorporate them into the description above as this will make it easier for future graders when working out total ability slots etc.

Also just another overall comment, Refined Requips with Artifact + equipment attached would get 3x S rank abilities and 1x A+ abilities, so if you wanted to adjust some of the non-rp abilities to be higher ranked you can.

    Name: Dreadful
    Rank: B
    Type: Single Target/RP Only
    Damage: N/a
    Range: Melee
    Speed: Self
    Duration: Passive
Description: The large blade radiates with an aura of dread, almost acting as a warning to monsters, demons and other creatures not to bother attacking him. Though some are only enraged by what the weapon represents, many are scared off by the Monster Slayer.

    Name: Monster Slayer
    Rank: B
    Type: Single Target/RP Only
    Damage: N/a
    Range: Melee
    Speed: Self
    Duration: Passive
Description: Though not originally a magical weapon, the blade has slain many humans, monsters, demons and even an actual dragon, thus tempering it in ether-rich blood and bestowing magical properties upon it. This allows Caladbolg to deal damage normally to humans, monsters, demons, dragons and spirits alike, even being capable of hitting ethereal or incorporeal targets and doing exactly as the name of the weapon implies, slay it. Edit:: Slaying characters or character based npcs requires OOC permission, please amend this to include that.

    Name: Kendov Spellworks
Rank: S+ Edit:: Please lower this to S rank or A+.

This weapon was made so well that it increases the damage of magical attacks channeled through it by 105% (meaning +105% spell damage) Edit:: As this spell needs to be lower in rank please amend this buff to match the rank you decide to change it to..

Description: Caladbolg was originally forged for a powerful Chieftain who was renowned for his great deeds and even greater deeds left undone. After this fact, the weapon was reforged and mutated by using the scale of a powerful and ancient dragon to become even more potent. This weapon was made so well that it increases the damage of melee attacks by 70% (meaning +70% strength).

    Name: Kinetic Energy Redistribution
    Rank: A
    Category: (Offensive, Defensive, Supportive, Auxiliary)
    Type: Single Target
    Damage: N/a
    Range: Melee
    Speed: Self
    Duration: Passive
Downside: Must first block an attack before it stores a stack.
Description: When Caladbolg is used to block other melee attacks, it stores up portions of the kinetic energy inside of the massive bulky blade in the form of stacks. For each attack blocked, the next melee strike performed by the greatsword is increased by +10% strength per stack. These stacks are lost when the next strike of the blade hits a solid or magical surface, setting the amount of stacks back to 0. In total, Caladbolg can store up an amount of stacks equal to +100% strength. Edit:: A Rank active buff caps at 65%, please lower this.

    Name: Oversized Strikes
    Rank: B
    Category: (Offensive, Defensive, Supportive, Auxiliary)
    Type: Single Target
    Damage: N/a
    Range: Melee
    Speed: Self
    Duration: Passive
Description: Due to the fact that Caladbolg is basically an oversized slab of sharpened metal that weights an awful lot, there is very little that can stand against it and hope to remain intact. Added to this is the magic woven into the steel when forging the blade, allowing the blade to penetrate physical armor of equal or lower rank that it comes into contact with null and void. When doing so, only 50% of the total damage gets through to the target.

    Advanced Ancient Spells:

    Name: Light's End
    Rank: S+
    Category: (Offensive, Defensive, Supportive, Auxiliary)
    Type: Single-Target
Damage: 360hp Edit:: This is a base increase of 100% which is not allowed, Please lower this to 270HP (50% Base increase) or 225HP (25% Base increase) - See edit below.
    Range: 50 meters
    Speed: 600 meters per second
    Duration: Instant
Downside: 50% increased damage for greatly reduced range. Edit:: Sacrificing range only permits you 25% base increase, please either add another downside or lower this percentage accordingly.
Description: The strongest spell within this particular field of magic, this spell creates a glowing white aura around Solmar's hand to show that it is activating. Next, Solmar will focus on a target within the range of this spell and within his line of sight. Next, with a snap of his fingers, he will bombard that target with so much light magic that it would literally burn that target out of existence, leaving only ashes in its wake. While the range of the spell is small, the fact that it moves so incredibly fast makes it hard to avoid once activated. Additionally, this spell can also be channeled and fired through Caladbolg.

    Name: Blades of Radiance
    Rank: A+
    Category: (Offensive, Defensive, Supportive, Auxiliary)
    Type: Multi-Target
    Damage: 100hp (45hp damage / 135hp durability when wielded)
Range: 250 meters (Melee when wielded)
Speed: 375 meters per second (Melee when wielded)
    Duration: 5 posts
Downside: 50% increased speed and added durability for reduced duration, damage and range.  Edit:: Unless you sacrifice these factors for the entire element of the spell, these cannot be applied, saying 'melee when wielded' but retaining the full range and speed, is not a sacrifice. Please rework this.
Description: The most advanced version of the Blades of Radiance, this spell targets multiple targets by creating multiple swords. Possessing a damage greater than the original spell, as well as covering much more ground at far greater speeds, these blades are not just single use spells. Instead, they remain for a total of five posts, can be remote controlled by Solmar, be wielded for the duration of the spell and unsummoned at will. This makes this spell the most powerful one of all the Blades of Radiance spells. When looking at this blade within a three meter radius, one gets Blinded by it until the end of their next turn. Edit:: This is wordly like an offensive only spell, in which case if your giving the durability to the weapon, then essential this need to be a requip as ancient spells with a HP isn't a thing unless it includes a defense mechanic. If the durability is used as a means to protect yourself then you need to state this clearly. Additionally, if it is a mt defense spell, the number of targets that can be protected must have a capped total.

    Name: Blade of Radiance
    Rank: A+
    Category: (Offensive, Defensive, Supportive, Auxiliary)
    Type: Single Target
    Damage: 120hp (45hp damage / 135hp durability when wielded)
Range: 300 meters (Melee when wielded)
Speed: 675 meters per second (Melee when wielded)
    Duration: 5 posts
Downside: 50% increased speed and added durability for reduced duration, damage and range. Edit:: Same as above.
Description: By pointing his finger into a desired direction, a sword made up of pure light magic will spawn into being and launch itself towards the intended target at high velocity. Unlike the original Blade of Radiance, this version is quite deadly and covers plenty of ground, the fact that it moves so incredibly fast making it quite dangerous to those who fail to respond to it in time. Additionally, this blade remains for a total of five posts and can be remote controlled, wielded and unsummoned at will. This spell deals cutting or stabbing damage. Can be summoned into one of the "Blades of Radiance" spells to add an additional surprise attack. When looking at this blade within a three meter radius, one gets Blinded by it until the end of their next turn. Edit:: Same as above.

    Name: Blade of Radiance
    Rank: C+
    Category: (Offensive, Defensive, Supportive, Auxiliary)
    Type: Single target
    Damage: 75hp
    Range: 100 meters
    Speed: 270 meters per second
    Duration: Instant
Downside: 50% increased speed for reduced damage and range. Edit:: This downsides are not high enough to warrant 50% more speed, at most I would permit 30% unless you increase the value decreased.
Description: By pointing his finger into a desired direction, a sword made up of pure light magic will spawn into being and launch itself towards the intended target at high velocity. Though the damage itself is nothing special and the distance it can cover stops at a hundred meters, the fact that it moves so incredibly fast makes it quite dangerous to those who fail to respond to it in time. This spell deals cutting or stabbing damage. Can be summoned into one of the "Blades of Radiance" spells to add an additional surprise attack. When looking at this blade within a three meter radius, one gets Blinded by it until the end of their next turn.

    Normal Ancient Spells:

    Name: Auric Shroud
    Rank: A
    Category: (Offensive, Defensive, Supportive, Auxiliary)
    Type: Single-Target (Self)
    Damage: N/a
    Range: Melee
    Speed: Melee
    Duration: 7 posts
    Downside: Can still be heard.
Description: By coating himself, his clothing and his weapon with light magic particles, Solmar will bend light to the point where he will render himself invisible to the naked eye and incapable of being tracked by sensory spells or abilities of lower rank. Additionally, these particles also keep his body odor from getting past them, meaning they also erase his scent. This however does not mean he become untraceable, as one can still hear his breathing, speech and movement when paying close enough attention to it. Whenever he wills it, Solmar can end the shroud manually in a burst of light, leaving those witnessing it within a three meter radius Blinded until the end of their next turn.

    Name: Blades of Radiance
    Rank: B
    Category: (Offensive, Defensive, Supportive, Auxiliary)
    Type: Multi-Target
    Damage: 50hp
    Range: 100 meters
    Speed: 165 meters per second
    Duration: Instant
Downside: 50% increased speed for reduced damage and range.   Edit:: This downsides are not high enough to warrant 50% more speed, at most I would permit 30% unless you increase the value decreased.
Description: An alternative version of the Blade of Radiance, this spell instead targets multiple targets by creating multiple swords. While weaker than the original spell, the fact that this attack can be used in order to take down more than one enemy or simply keep multiple people on their toes makes the spell quite potent. That, and because of how it is still quite fast, meaning it might be hard to completely evade. This spell deals cutting or stabbing damage.

    Name: Lightspeed
    Rank: B
    Category: (Offensive, Defensive, Supportive, Auxiliary)
    Type: Teleport
    Damage: Burst
    Range: 50 meters
    Speed: N/a
    Duration: Instant
    Downside: N/a
Description: By temporarily moving at the speed of light, Solmar is capable of moving from one spot to the next in the blink of an eye, allowing him to either avoid taking damage or to quickly close the distance between himself and an enemy and forcing them into close combat. When disappearing, he does so by leaving a flash of light, which also happens when he shows back up, thus giving away his position. However, these flashes of light, when witnessed within a three meter radius, leave the target Blinded until the end of their next post Edit:: As this has a 'blinding effect', this must at least have a duration of 2 posts and the effect cannot circumvent the duration..

    Passive abilities:

Acquisition: A mage can make 1/4th of their total normal spell slots passive abilities. So, a mage 9 spells could make 2 of them passive abilities. This applies to the total number of spells owned excluding advanced spells and signature spells. Advanced spells in magic cannot be made passives, though signature spells can without the need to worry about the 1/4th cap. When calculating the number of total spells owned, magics are mutually exclusive.

    1/4th of 15 = 4 (rounded down)

    A-Rank: 0-8 (1 used)
    S-Rank: 0-6 (3 used)

Using 3 S rank slots and 1 A rank slot to make passive abilities.

See "Passive Abilities" for the actual abilities located underneath the Unique Abilities section.

All things should be edited now.
Added the training link at the bottom of the spell page.

Also, in regards to the spell swords that can be wielded, I added that the 50% speed only goes for the spell itself, not for the speed when wielded. Feel free to respond on Discord when you read it, might be easier to talk about it like that since I feel like i'm either reading the issue wrong (which is very very likely), or there's been a misunderstanding.

When doing so, only 50% of the total damage gets through to the target.

    Advanced Ancient Spells:

    Name: Light's End
    Rank: S+
    Category: Offensive
    Type: Single-Target
Damage: 270hp Edit:: As you've gone for the 25% base increase, Please lower this to 225HP.
    Range: 300 meters
    Speed: 600 meters per second
    Duration: Instant
Downside: 25% increased damage for greatly reduced range.

    Rank: A+
    Category: Offensive
    Type: Multi-Target
    Damage: 100hp (45hp damage / 135hp durability when wielded)
Range: 250 meters (Melee when wielded)
Speed: 375 meters per second (Melee when wielded)
    Duration: 5 posts
Downside: 50% increased (spell) speed and added durability for reduced duration, damage and range. Edit:: Okay, so now that I understand the sacrifice your making, I have to say 13hp less damage, 4 less posts, and 88m less range is not that much of a downside. I would permit 35% increase max unless you increase the downside.

Edit:: You seemed to have either have missed or ignored the edit I told you to do. Spells are not permitted durability unless they are requip or defensive. As you have stated in your category this is an offensive spell. So please either add a defensive mechanic or remove the durability from the spell entirely.

    Name: Blade of Radiance
    Rank: A+
    Category: Offensive
    Type: Single Target
    Damage: 120hp (45hp damage / 135hp durability when wielded)
Range: 300 meters (Melee when wielded)
Speed: 675 meters per second (Melee when wielded)
    Duration: 5 posts
Downside: 50% increased (spell) speed and added durability for reduced duration, damage and range. Edit:: Same again, drawbacks just quite aren't higher enough, however seeing as the is a greater range and damage sacrificed I would say this warrants about 40% increase. Please amend this or increase the downside.

Edit:: Same as above, add a defensive mechanic, or remove the durability entirely.

    Name: Blade of Radiance

    Damage: 75hp
    Range: 100 meters
    Speed: 234 meters per second

Downside: 30% increased speed for reduced damage and range.

    Rank: B
    Category: Offensive
    Type: Multi-Target
    Damage: 50hp
    Range: 100 meters
    Speed: 143 meters per second
    Duration: Instant
Downside: 30% increased speed for reduced damage and range.

    Rank: B
    Category: Supportive
    Type: Teleport
    Damage: Burst
    Range: 50 meters
    Speed: N/a
    Duration: 2 posts
    Downside: N/a
Description: By temporarily moving at the speed of light, Solmar is capable of moving from one spot to the next in the blink of an eye, allowing him to either avoid taking damage or to quickly close the distance between himself and an enemy and forcing them into close combat. When disappearing, he does so by leaving a flash of light, which also happens when he shows back up, thus giving away his position. However, these flashes of light, when witnessed within a three meter radius, leave the target Blinded until the end of their next post.

    1/4th of 15 = 3 (rounded down)

    A-Rank: 0-8 (1 used)
    S-Rank: 0-6 (3 used)

Using 3 S rank slots to make passive abilities.

One final tweak and we should be good, bump when ready.

    Spoiler:

@Solmar wrote:Magic Name: Swordsman of Light
Magic Type: Requip: Primary // Ancient: Auxiliary

    Rank: B
    Category: Offensive
    Type: Multi-Target
    Damage: 50hp
    Range: 100 meters
    Speed: 143 meters per second
    Duration: Instant
Downside: 30% increased speed for reduced damage and range.

All done, made a mistake on the speed thing since I didn't take it down from 375 before, which is something I apparently forgot. But with these changes to 50% speed, I can leave it as is, since 50% of 250 is 125, so the 375 is fine.

Downside: Must first block an attack before it stores a stack.
Description: After being augmented by the Heartstone to where the blade would become one that was better suited to Solmar's own style of fighting, it now allows Solmar to cast all of his magic through his blade in addition to how they might otherwise be cast.

    Name: Oversized Strikes
    Rank: B
    Category: Offensive
    Type: Single Target
    Damage: N/a
    Range: Melee

    Category: Offensive
    Type: Single-Target
    Damage: 225hp
    Range: 300 meters
    Speed: 600 meters per second
    Duration: Instant
Downside: 25% increased damage for greatly reduced range.

When looking at this blade within a three meter radius, A blinding effect can occur every post, but opponents that were affected in their last turn cannot be affected by it again.

Description: The large blade radiates with an aura of dread, almost acting as a warning to monsters, demons and other creatures not to bother attacking him. Though some are only enraged by what the weapon represents, many are scared off by the Monster Slayer.

    Name: Monster Slayer
    Rank: S
    Type: Single Target/RP Only
    Damage: N/a
    Range: Melee
    Speed: Self
    Duration: Passive
Description: Though not originally a magical weapon, the blade has slain many humans, monsters, demons and even an actual dragon, thus tempering it in ether-rich blood and bestowing magical properties upon it. This allows Caladbolg to deal damage normally to humans, monsters, demons, dragons and spirits alike, even being capable of hitting ethereal or incorporeal targets and doing exactly as the name of the weapon implies, slay it.

This weapon was made so well that it increases the damage of magical attacks channeled through it by 70% (meaning +70% spell damage).

    Duration: Passive
Downside: Must first block an attack before it stores a stack.
Description: After being augmented by the Heartstone to where the blade would become one that was better suited to Solmar's own style of fighting, it now allows Solmar to cast all of his magic through his blade in addition to how they might otherwise be cast.

    Rank: B
    Category: Offensive
    Type: Single Target
    Damage: N/a
    Range: Melee

    Rank: S+
    Category: Offensive
    Type: Single-Target
    Damage: 225hp
    Range: 300 meters
    Speed: 600 meters per second
    Duration: Instant
Downside: 25% increased damage for greatly reduced range.

    Rank: A+
    Category: Offensive
    Type: Multi-Target
    Damage: 87hp
    Range: 172 meters
    Speed: 375 meters per second
    Duration: 2 posts
Downside: 50% increased speed for reduced duration, damage and range.
When looking at this blade within a three meter radius, A blinding effect can occur every post, but opponents that were affected in their last turn cannot be affected by it again.

    Name: Blade of Radiance
    Rank: A+
    Category: Offensive
    Type: Single Target
    Damage: 120hp
    Range: 300 meters
    Speed: 630 meters per second
    Duration: 5 posts
Downside: 40% increased speed for reduced duration, damage and range.
When looking at this blade within a three meter radius, A blinding effect can occur every post, but opponents that were affected in their last turn cannot be affected by it again.

    Name: Blade of Radiance

    Category: Offensive
    Type: Single target
    Damage: 75hp
    Range: 100 meters
    Speed: 234 meters per second
    Duration: Instant
Downside: 30% increased speed for reduced damage and range.
When looking at this blade within a three meter radius, A blinding effect can occur every post, but opponents that were affected in their last turn cannot be affected by it again.

    Normal Ancient Spells:

    Rank: A
    Category: Supportive

    Rank: B
    Category: Offensive
    Type: Multi-Target
    Damage: 50hp
    Range: 100 meters
    Speed: 143 meters per second
    Duration: Instant
Downside: 30% increased speed for reduced damage and range.

However, these flashes of light, when witnessed within a three meter radius, A blinding effect can occur every post, but opponents that were affected in their last turn cannot be affected by it again.

    1/4th of 15 = 3 (rounded down)

    A-Rank: 0-8 (1 used)
    S-Rank: 0-6 (3 used)

Using 3 S rank slots to make passive abilities.

See "Passive Abilities" for the actual abilities located underneath the Unique Abilities section.

So this is done now, though I wanted to point out and ask for a few things when they are being graded, as well as some things to consider when doing so.

    1. The Refined Requip sword is made up of 3 Artifact+ weapons. Judging by the rules I managed to find, I gave it the seven abilities I believed it was allowed to have. I am not entirely sure if I did everything right with the precise ranks of the abilities though as the amount of rules and different places to scroll over and study to make them properly was a little overwhelming or confusing at times.

    2. I made it so the Refined Requip and the Requip sword are connected to one another. Since Negate/Redirect rules seemed pretty straight-forward, I made it so that the first sword can Negate when on its own. When both swords are present, one sword can negate and the other can redirect it. I figured this would be fine and a more interesting way of working with it while also putting some restrictions on something that doesn't really need additional restrictions for the sake of more fun RP.

    3. With regards to the swords, I don't really know how much HP and damage to give them as i'm not sure whether I need to go with the health of the weapon or by the health of a magic weapon as they are technically both. Also, for the first sword, I was confused a bit as it said the damage and health were the same as the combined weapons put into it. And seeing as those are three Artifact+ weapons, I wondered how much that would translate to.

But yeah, that's most of it for now. Figured i'd ask.

Heya Solmar, sorry for the delay, Joh back to grade your magic. You know how this goes by now so as usual, all of my edits will be in this color. To address your questions:

    1. The ranks of your requip abilities are mostly correct. I've made a comment where you can increase the ranks of an ability.

    2. Unfortunately, for both redirection and negation effects MP must still be paid in order to negate or redirect the spells in question.

    3. Requips still use requip values for their HP and melee damage with the added benefit for the type of equipment used in the creation of the requip spell. In your case, this equates to an increased melee damage value, multiplying the original melee damage value for a requip of that rank with 2.5x. I've commented where this applies which should hopefully clarify your confusion.

    @Solmar wrote:Magic Name: Rhyfelwr Coetir

    • S Rank: Spell Speed +60%.

As such, I must ask you to remove this). Consume Magic and Regurgitate have to be performed in the same post. (Please specify that only one spell per post may be redirected. Please also specify that only spells of S rank or lower may be redirected with this ability. Further, please additionally clarify that twice the original MP cost of the spell being redirected back at an opponent must be paid in order to do so)

    Type: Area of Effect
    Damage: 105hp
Because the goal is to keep people within the range of the spell, the furthest reaches on all sides grow completely shut like walls, boxing everyone in and keeping unwanted personnel out. (Unless you gave this spell a set durability, you cannot restrict the movement of player characters in this way and prevent people from entering/leaving an area. Please adjust this accordingly)

Duration: Instant / 2 posts (All spells need a definitive duration. This can be either Instant or 2 posts, not both)
Description: Brodorol o Goed, or Native of trees, is a spell that lets Solmar tap into the life giving properties of nature in order to restore his body and heal his wounds, or that of another. When activated, white energy will start radiating from his body, most notably his wounds as they close up and regenerate so fast that it is visible to the naked eye. In the case of lost limbs, they can either be picked up and reattached or completely grow back from the severed stump. Due to the vastness of this spell, it does not just heal, but also removes status effects such as poisons and other debilitating effects of similar or lower rank (up to H rank) in the process (Please specify that only a single negative effect may be removed per post and that MP equivalent to the cost of the spell that contained/inflicted that same effect must be paid in order to do so). While most on the surface healing takes place in the first post, limbs will take up to two posts to fully grow back. Additionally, this spell has a third ability which is triggered when his heart stops. Activating on its own when Solmar's body has enough magic power left to do so at the time of his death, it will breathe life back into him and start the process of healing his injuries. This technique triggers within the first 24 hours after his death. This third effect only works for Solmar as it does now allow him to bring back others who have died. (Please clarify that this effect cannot be used to evade defeat in PvP combat)

(Please specify that only a single negative status effect may be removed per post, only status effects originating from spells or abilities of A rank or lower may be negated and only when equivalent MP cost to the spell or ability containing the effect is paid)

Description: Droighaenn an Talamh, or Earthbound Thorns is a spell formed by drawing on the earth spell "spiked fist" from within the mabynnogyon. By doing so, Solmar forms several thorned vines either from existing trees, his own body or the ground itself that move at a rather high pace. As these thorns are in fact made up entirely of hardened earth, they have an easy time piercing through defenses, albeit at the exchange of the damage being reduced by 50%. However, if they do hit, they drain 5% magic power from the target.

Took me a while to figure out what to do with a couple of things, but I made sure to go over and fix all of the changes. So, as far as I can tell, it's all fixed and ready.

    @Solmar wrote:Magic Name: Rhyfelwr Coetir

    Range: 600 meters

    Rhyfelwr Coetir Magic Ovei7w11

Description: When a magical attack is used against the wielder, Caladbolg can target the attack and devour it completely. Once it has drawn in the entire spell, Fragarach can be used to redirect the spell into any desired direction merely by pointing it at it. When Fragarach is not present, at which point it can also redirect it by itself. Additionally, only spells up to S rank can be negated/redirected by Caladbolg and Fragarach, and only one per post. Costs an amount of MP equal to the spell's original cost to negate/redirect.

    Name: Weald o Frenhinoedd

    Category: Offensive
    Type: Area of Effect
    Damage: 105hp

    Category: Support

    Name: Derwydd Galw

    Category: Auxiliary
    Type: RP Only
    Damage: -
    Range: 50 meters
    Speed: 50 meters per second
    Duration: 2 posts
Description: Derwydd Galw, or Druid's Call, is a simple spell that allows Solmar to use the combined abilities of the Mabynnogyon and Rhyfelwr Coetir, letting him read the flow of ethernano while adjusting himself to it. Allowing him to communicate with plant life and most living creatures through an unspoken language of nature magic, he can use this magic to ask animals for directions, ask them to lead the way or talk to the trees for guidance. Though only effective within places where nature is prominent, there are still chances that an animal will outright refuse or that the plants will not respond to him.

    Mabynnogyon & Derived:

    Name: Mabynnogyon: Uisge an Earraich
    Rank: A
    Category: Support
    Type: Area of Effect
    Healing: 50hp
    Range: 150 meters
    Speed: 75 meters per second
    Duration: 7 posts

    Rank: A
    Category: Offensive
    Type: Burst
    Damage: 100hp
    Range: 75 meters
    Speed: 75 meters per second
    Duration: Instant
Description: Droighaenn an Talamh, or Earthbound Thorns is a spell formed by drawing on the earth spell "spiked fist" from within the mabynnogyon. Opening up the ground and causing vines to burst up from it, the thorns aim to pierce through their foe from below. Having the ability to pierce through defenses at the cost of losing 50% of their total damage, they are quite potent even when weakened. However, if they do hit, they drain 5% magic power from the target.
