Elise had found her way to the capital of Fiore. Time certainly has taken its toll on her as it was nothing like it she remembered, a new age has come of magic and a new wave of that only technological advances but also magical advances surrounded her. However that was the least of her concerns at the current moment, she was here on business this time needing to get a foot in the world and a foot in the door in certain places she needed to figure out what her next plan was, to potentially make an ally or two. It anywhere Talonia was going to be the place that she was going to be able to do it here. This is where the majority of guildless mages met up and converged. Guildess mages having no alignment were the prime people to seek help with, however some didn't like to “play” nice so she would still have to keep an eyes out. As she was walking through the crowd or people both mages and not as she walked through the streets. How were suddenly she was stopped As free men approached her and started to surround her. the blank expression said it all how was she just didn't seem to care she was just more concerned with why these people are surrounding her and what they wanted exactly as she didn't even want to have a conversation with them. as they made a semi triangle around her one of them that was in a black leather jacket spoke up. “Hey there sweet you must be new around here so you must need a guide me and my power to be happy to guide you around... for a small fee.” she would just stand there motionlessly staring at him as he spoke trying to decide what action to take. internally getting a little annoyed she would sigh and shake her head not wanting to kill them at least not on the streets. “ no thank you. Please leave me be” she said trying to be diplomatic about it. however he did not seem to take that kindly. “ we're offering you a good time in your-” her patience listen to this moment avoid serious conversation Obi One thing but these people she didn't even want to be around she had business to attend to and this was not part of it so she would hold out her hand in the blade would appear in her hand. “ I said to leave I won't ask again” she would say as one of them seemed intimidated out of the other two just grinned and nudged him as he regained his composure probably because there was a three-on-one situation how were this meant nothing to her, to her they were three meals in front of her however she would have to play it carefully still as she was so surrounded. Taking a breath she readies herself to counter any attack as they started to prepare themselves as well a tension in the air that can be cut by a knife or perhaps something else.

    (Free Form Goal: 7000/14000 Words)

Talonia was a place that was starting to feel more at home to Indra than he cared to admit-- well Hosenka was actually the more fun one, but he liked the lawless feel to Talonia. It had some familiar architecture, the more eastern feel to it, plus it was more isolated than the other cities in Magnolia. The city was not a real crime bed, but it was a place where people followed their on drum's beat. They could do what they wanted and follow whatever path they sought, for better or worse. The waterfalls and mountains were a perfect spot for Indra to train too, where he could work on his strength and magic.

He had grown a bit more distant from Sabertooth of late. He had admired it for a time, but they always jumped to the demands of the magic council too much. Orders, rules... it was stifling at times so he needed some time away to think on things. The things like order and stability was just like the rules of the monastery he betrayed... having left to pursue greater things.

Indra was walking along, in his usual attire of a roughish dress of light hakama and gi, tied by a cloth belt. He kept his shirtless attire, showing off his form shamelessly, but more to intimidate than to draw gazes. While, like many others, he could be easily lured by the promise of adulterated fun-- he was on his better behavior since he had agreed to take a certain Exceed under his wing. The black and ash colored Exceed in a small ninja gi was an impressive creature, and Indra had gotten close to the little cat after a few missions. Since they met, the little tiger wanted nothing more than to be like Indra and become a ninja. Normally he would laugh, but he had a talent to transform into a stronger form.

The Little Exceed walked beside him as they had been planning to go into the wilds outside of town to train more. Already, the tiger had made some progress, but there was still much for him to learn. "Sensei? So do you think I am making any progress?"

"Don't be stupid. Of course you are," Indra huffed, having seen how well Kage had done in martial arts in missions. "Maybe not as good as a ninja but you definitely are in the right direction. "

"Thank you, Sensei. I just want-- huh?" the little Exceed stopped as he saw the ruckus of the man harassing a girl. Indra soon noticed too, and saw the cold look the woman had in response to the harassing idiot who couldn't take a hint. Indra kept his distance for the moment, sensing the woman could handle herself. However...

Kage's fur stood up on end, as the little tiger felt compelled to act. "Sensei, we should help her!" he growled, as if to restrain himself from clawing the guy up as he reached his paws.

A sigh escaped Indra as he folded his arms against his chest. "I think she will be okay. Besides, last thing i want to do is add fuel to the fire and hit on her myself. " he semi-joked.

Kage however, didn't want to leave her. "But we gotta do something. Back her up. WWND!"

    "What?" Indra asked, stumped.

"WWND! 'What Would A Ninja Do!' " Kage said with an overly eager tone. But soon Indra grasped what he wanted-- to swoop in to save the damsel, as the cat clearly had just as much a soft spot for women as he did.

Indra sighed. "Alright, consider this another test. Let's see how you do." Indra leaned against a nearby wall as he overlooked what happened. Without any hesitation, the little Exceed scampered into the fray to get involved.

The guys were now 3, as Kage easily slipped below all their noses till he spoke up. "Hey, stupid!" Kage's voice shouted, surprising them to look down. Even the woman in question wouldn't of noticed him till then.

Kage now stood in front of her with his paws folded against his chest, similar to Indra but in his little cat form as he glared up at the head bozo with his yellow eyes. "If you want to keep your teeth, I suggest you back off and leave the lady alone. She did say she wanted nothing to do with you." Kage warned.

There was a small silence-- then the men suddenly burst into laughter. Kage's ears tucked down, annoyed as the men just laughed at his small stature. He growled softly, audible to the woman as he stood there. His tail flicked in a peeved manner, showing the cat was not amused.

Elise had considered the situation under control despite their mockery and annoyance as she stood there with her blade drawing made a strike them down at this point down with the pull over the end wasting of her time however something happened that she couldn't account for that she didn't account for…. someone intervening.    she must be getting rusty as her or a sense didn't the trigger when this what appeared to be a little cat came flying over to our Aid telling them to back off.   Elise just stared at this cat for a moment wondering why it had even come to intervene in the first place and make these bold threats however all thoughts that were mainly taken away as a mentor to laugh at the cat that just came to her Aid.    she did nothing but continued to stare at the cat as  she could see that he was getting annoyed by their mockery of his  supposed boldness.   well she didn't consider herself needing rescued she did appreciate the gesture the cat would give and get even more annoyed us a left at the cats gesture.   should only shake her head and then look at them.  “ I was going to let you live with minor wounds however know I have no choice but to get rid of you”   she would say as the group of men just laughed harder supposedly what a woman and a cat would do.   she would just shake her head and look up with a now sudden anger expression on her face actually just look at them smiling.  “Time Slayer Roar”   is all she  would say audibly enough to be heard however not yelling and in that instance to everyone around she just disappeared and reappeared 50 m away from the crowd just staring them down to them it was instantaneous she was there and then she wasn't how would you her she is taking her time to examine them and in the state of Frozen time would take your time and walk 50m away to simply think about what to do to these men and how to kill them as a vector should be quick should be painless should it be long and drawn-out who knows every many options probably quicker would be easier cuz the second she did something people would probably come and try to stop him.   at one point she thought about it wondering if it was right to drag this cat and her business... but again the cat they come to save her so was already in her business so she had no qualms on that.   has she got position and how to hand out the spell would end in time with resume and should be standing looking at them  all with their stupid confused looks on their faces.  The laughter meet we halted as she cast her spell just glaring them down “Draining Ray”  She would say as red arc  of energy would fly out of her hand and hit the one who initially started the  problem.   as the other two look in the shock at him getting hit the energy would then suddenly  lash out towards them as well hitting all three of them.   they were clutch their chests as a felt the mana  from their bodies leaving them and in that moment of hesitation before they can even question what was happening to them she would cast another spell “Draining Syphon”  I just I'm three arcs of red energy flu from your hands and slammed into the Mages knocking them to their backs draining them of their magic as they were knocked out.   feeling refreshed and calm down. As she had some Essence coming to her and these guys were dealt with should walk over to the cat and release her blade letting it disappear looking down at him.  “Thank you...My names Elise what can I call you”  is all she would say simply looking at him not sure what else to say to this cat hoping that other intrusions didn't come by.

Indra kept his distance and space to let them do what they had to do. Kage, clearly was trying to be the tough defender-- but all it did was make the idiots laugh. He grumbled, wishing Kage had transformed already to at least intimidate them. However, he never got the chance. Indra's senses flared as he could sense the insane magic power coming from the woman, now getting serious herself. The "Time Slayer Roar' or whatever she called it, was instantaneous as he saw her use it-- then disappear.

It happened in the blink of an eye-- but it was then his Rairyugan activated, his eyes now yellow with a lightning-like shape inside it. THough the movement and attack was instantaneous, he saw hints of her movement. But her movements almost was as fast as the impulse for it. To most, she would of just froze time. For Indra, however, her movement was a blur-- near as fast as he was.

Kage didn't have a clue, the Exceed not as perceptive as the dragon slayer was. He just blinked and the enemies were pretty much now struck by her magic and drained, causing them all to fall to the ground either comatose or dead.

A nervous sweat fell from the feline as he saw the beautiful girl just own 3 big rogue mages. "NOte to self. This is how Indra feels when I steal his thunder..." the cat said.

"I heard that " Indra spoke out in earshot-- making the feline cringe, embarrassed.

With the thugs down, the woman walked over to Kage with a grateful reply and introduced herself as Elise. Kage blinked for a moment, and then smiled with a paw raised to his chest almost like a salute. "Name's Kage. Shinobi in training. Nice to meet you. I'm sorry for getting involved but I couldn't just ignore it." he said sweetly with a purr, his cute cat-like face able to melt most hearts.

Of course had he transformed, that would have been another story.

Still while Kage tried to recover and seem somewhat formidable, Indra now was more interested by the woman he saw. She was insanely strong to be that fast. He didn't really understand but somehow she had manipulated the space around her. Even at his top speed, he didn't have that kind of accuracy.

As she and Kage got better aquainted, Indra slowly approached the two. "Hope you pardon my partner. He is a bit... inexperienced by your standards. I hope he didn't bother you. You clearly could handle yourself." Indra replied, a light smile on his face. Dark but not unkind. The kind of confidence like the others but he understood where the lady stood.

"Name's Indra. You met Kage," he introduced himself .

Elise would smile at the little cat that she found charming with it's bold boasts of being a shinobi in training. What an interesting exceed she saw looking over as the exceeds owner seems to have made his way over telling her his name and to pardon his exceed. She would smile looking back down at the exceed before back at the one who had told him to a pardon shaking her head. “ it's fine... I told you thank you but my name is Elise LaFlur” She would comment before continuing. “ inexperience often leads to experience so it's fine I'm sure you knew what you were doing” she said looking down at the cat with a nod not sure whether at knew what it was doing or not she had no idea but things worked out this time so there was no need for her to get too upset over this little setback if you want to call that. Either way she return back to reality staring back up at the man who called himself Indra. “Either way I suppose a thank-you is an order even though I didn't ask for your help you still came and helped so for that I am grateful if there's something I can do to return the favor let me know.” Elise did not like the position she found herself and whether she was actually in this position or not was entirely uncertain however she felt she owed them both a debt of gratitude to some degree after all helping his helping whether you're good or bad. she would stand there looking between them both wondering if either of them had anything she can help them with this current Junction otherwise I suppose it's just a standing favor from her. “ however perhaps we can discuss this buy three unconscious bodies maybe we can go somewhere a little more quieter if you don't mind” she would say looking around as people started to look over at the bodies on the ground that were laid out in the three of them lording over them while no one was she wouldn't care she didn't want to start causing trouble too soon still, if that was at all possible to avoid at this point she would like to minimize it anyhow. Either way she take a few steps away from the bodies that were laying there and waited for the two gentlemen in front of her to respond.

It was now that Indra knew what she meant by the 3 bodies in the road. Damn the girl was brutal... which was a bit of a turn on to Indra ironically. He glanced around, seeing people who had witnessed the fight looking at them. He knew they couldn't stay there, even in this lawless town.

Kage glanced around as well, seeing the people look at them.

"Let's go..." he said simply and walked to lead Elise away to somewhere better. As they would go, kage looked to see he would soon be the only one left among with the goons and the onlookers.

"Hey! Wait for me, sensei!" Kage cried as he scampered after them.

    ***

Indra soon led her through some allies-- just a way to get out of view from the people of the street. Elise would probably sense it as Kage would follow, purring lightly around Elise as they would try to reach safer havens.

A short distance out from the town was the water falls that dropped from the mountains, feeding the rivers below. There, only a short distance away from a nearby tavern as well, was where Indra had went. A training ground that Indra would go to fight and train with Kage to develop their skills.

Now with them alone, Indra sat himself down on one of the rocks while Kage hopped up and flew with his Aera wings to be at head height to them both.

"I would invite you for a drink but figure the last thing you wanted is men hitting on you. Though I can't promise anything with my student here..." Indra joked at Kage.

    "Hey! I'm a gentle-cat!" the Exceed countered.

Elise would walk calmly down the alleys that this man and his cat would lead her down. she didn't exactly know why they were willing to help her with the same time she didn't seem to care at the moment just having to calm expression on her face. the little tribulations of the city didn't really matter to her she just honestly didn't feel like dealing with the hassle of people asking questions and onlookers in the sort. she would study the man for a moment as they walked eventually they would stop though. As they reached they're stopping point she would look around just being a little outside of town with them but not too far out, she could only wonder where they had taken her before she heard them speak about hitting on her. to this she just looked at them now, staying standing looking down at them both.

She thought for a moment about what to say to these two gentlemen before her. truth be told she had no idea why she even follow them in the first place. to her it would have been just as easy to walk the other way and leave them and not have to deal with them anymore but it said she followed them. However remembering that she gave her word for a favor she would give a deep sigh shaking her head her calm emotion returning to her face.

“Well now that we are in a safer place, I’ll just be blunt about this what do you want from me.”
She said looking deeply at him not in the mood particularly amused by there jab on hitting on her. She would waiting moment before speaking. “I told you for the assistance I would do you a favor so what do you want, this isn’t a standing offer.” She shook her head. “While grateful this isn’t a standinding offer so what do you want?” She would say waiting keeping aware of her surroundings. She wasn’t prevy to letting her gaurd down around these two, while they helped her she didn’t know them and wasn’t eager to get caught again.

Her attitude was cold, that was for sure-- but Indra wasn't hurt. He and Kage exchanged glances at each other, thrown off by her attitude. "While I could be a selfish bastard, true... I honestly wanted to make sure you were okay. Though that seems painfully clear you could handle yourself. " Raijin said as he sat himself on one of the rocks of the waterfall, feeling the spray against his back. "At most, I wanted to commend you on your power. It was very impressive. If I wasn't so resilliant to the idea of fighting women, I would ask for a match with you."

Kage swished his tail happily as he stood closer to the woman named Elise. "Besides, we wanted to get to know you. You must be an amazing sorceress. Are you in a guild like we used to be?" he explained, "We were once members of Sabertooth-- but my master choose to leave so I followed. Their loss... cause he is the strongest slayer-slash-ninja ever."

Indra chuckled to himself, enjoying it when Kage made him sound stronger oppose to steal his thunder. IT was a good change of pace instead of trying to steal the attention of the ladies with his inherited cuteness.

"As for that favor... well I know Kage would appreciate you snuggling him, hell i wouldn't mind that... but as i said, not looking to take advantage. Still," Indra said as he glared at her. "I would like to see your strength first hand. If you are willing could we maybe team up? There is some game in the woods west to us I often use to training. IT be nice to see you in action without such... weaklings that you had to deal with up till now?"

He tried hard to not be too drawn by her beauty and looked her in the eyes. While Indra might of been of a 'playa' with the ladies and loved a good time, he respected this one and wanted to see how strong she was. If things worked out, she would be a worthy collaborator for missions. He would have to, since now he was 'guildless' and without others to fall back on. While exiled both in Midi and now Fiore, it was good to make new allies.
