Luna was standing outside the chocolate factory, waiting for the Lightning Dragon Slayer to arrive. She was staring at her iLac, checking the time every few minutes. The job itself was a simple convoy job which put her at ease, delivering chocolate shouldn't really involve fighting a behemoth or obliterating a dark guild. She left Neptuna in Timbermere with other mermaids, she didn't want to risk her eating any chocolate as it is very bad for mermaids.

When she had taken this job, she thought loving wizards just meant wizards with a good heart, but unfortunately the owner meant this job was for couples only; which was annoying, she had traveled all this way for it to mean nothing would be a pain. She had to call the Sabertooth guild to pass a memo to the one man she trusted to perform such a job with her. She figured it was just going to be easy, all she had to do was have her and Indra accompany a simple delivery and it would be over, no destruction, no mess.

She put away her iLac and just stared at the ring on her left middle finger, the Lightning Dragon Eye. She found it the day after she met Indra at a market. It was a rare lacrima ring, one of few to exist, infused with the magic of an ancient Lightning Dragon Slayer. She noted that it did have an interesting characteristic of sparking whenever someone who specializes in electric based magic was nearby. She bought it for a decent price because the man thought it was fake, but Luna figured out quickly that it was genuine.

Luna looked up at the sky, she hoped that there were no further surprises. "Well, things could not get any worse. After all, it's not like I'm asking him to marry me..."

Indra soon arrived at the glamorous Rose Garden town and headed to where Luna would be. Beside him was Tailong, riding on his shoulders as usual and so was Kage, walking alongside the Dragon Slayer. kage ws in awe of the magical town, seeing the beautiful buildings and attractions, while Indra just moved on. He wasn't sure why that Luna wanted to meet him-- though he did know he had left a very intimate impression on the woman. Perhaps it had something to do with "Valentine's Day". Either way, she had left a message at the guild asking to meet him and that it was important.

He soon saw her looking at that odd device many wizards were using now. Such Magi-tech was beyond him but he followed enough to understand. Either way, he had no use for such devices. As they approached, Tailong perked up with excitement and the cat hesitated at the memory of the 'scary woman' who sent the dog after him.

"Hey. Long time no see," Indra called out and made his way towards her. "So what was so urgent that you left such a needy-sounding letter at my guild? If I didn't know better, I would say you were missing me." Indra said in a smug tone.

"Indra! Come on, don't be a smug jerk to the lady!" Tailong quipped as he fluttered through the air towards her. "Luna! How have you been, my dear?" He said with a bow .

Kage, just rolled his eyes, also annoyed by the mouthy dragon as much as Indra was. "Smooth, lizard boy. Hi there, remember me? Please don't sic your wolf on me again... I'm a reformed Sabertooth Wizard now. Mrow." Kage said as he lifted up the back of his ninja shirt to reveal the Sabertooth logo on his fuzzy back.

As the animals clearly showed their affection towards Luna, Indra just raised his hand in question. "So... what is going on here? Why did you want to meet here of all places?" he asked, not exactly sure why she wanted him there.

The Lightning Dragon Eye on her finger seemed to emit a few sparks before she put her hand down. The emerald eyes turned to gaze up at the fierce monk. She felt a chill in her neck as she recalled the fangs that buried into her skin. She noted that he was as blunt and smug as ever. She smiled as she replied candidly. "Missing you would involve you being out of my reach. You being here is proof of which one of us is holding a leash."

Luna was glad that at least Tailong had the decency to have some manners, she reached up her am offering a perch for the tiny dragon to land if he wished. "Stressed out, thanks for asking. Being a guild master is tough when I have to balance that with actually working, and my home life is just a mess." She nodded to the Exceed, glad to see him again and that he managed to turn his life around in Sabertooth. She gave a slight laugh. "Don't worry, I won't send Aegis after you... maybe next time I'll send a dragon."

"Yeah, it's just a basic convoy escort job that requires couples to accompany-"
Before Luna could finish explaining what she knew to Indra, an elderly man in a black suit with a dark chocolate colored tie holding a black book walked over. "Ah, Mrs Luna, I see you finally brought your husband..." Luna's eyes opened wide as she began to fiddle with the cuff of her white sweater, she reached for the flier in her side pocket of her cargo pants only to pull out a piece of paper, the job flyer. "What?!"

The man sighed as he adjusted his glasses, and held up a longer piece of paper then the one Luna had, with an extra four lines explaining it requires a loving couple of married wizards. "Your flier must've gotten torn up. This job requires wizards to be married, I can quickly arrange a temporary spell if you like..." Luna's heart started to race fast, to anyone with heightened hearing they would almost her the metallic cling of the gold organ moving about. She turned to Indra, almost ready to beg. "Indra I am so sorry, I did not know this was going to be, er..."  The elderly man let out a hearty chuckle as Luna's face started to blush.  "Shouldn't be too much of a problem, if you choose this brute I'm sure he'll suffice."

Luna's glare struck the Elderly man in the eyes as he took a few steps back. Luna knew she had to be able to appear strong, even if she wasn't. Ever since becoming guild master, she has been able to enhance her stricter side. "Watch it. If it came down to it, I might be able to take him down, after a whole block of collateral mind you, but I can only protect you for 30 seconds before he'd fry you. You really wanna gamble the dice with the Lightning Dragon Slayer's temper involved?" The man gulped as he wiped his glasses then looked at Indra again, seeing the Sabertooth emblem more clearly. He then got nervous as he skipped right to the point. "Look, the house carried cart carrying the chocolate is gonna be coming out of the gate in a minute. I am ordained as a priest. Can you please at least do this temporarily?"

Luna sighed as she would grab Indra by the wrists, looking up at his eyes calmly. She hoped that she could calm the beast before she would end up cleaning up half the city, and then the subsequent argument over which guild has to pay for said hypothetical damages. "Well Indra, we already came all this way, and it's easy money. You don't strike me as the type to settle and marry, but could you do this for me, for at least a good two hours? Please?"

Tailong didn't hesitate to land and affectionately snuggle against Luna's cheek like a cute little critter. Indra, however, was more put off by the comment Luna said how having him on a leash. They seemed to both have the bad habit of rubbing each other the wrong way. He was an ex monk turned rebel now going on an anti-hero streak while she was now a respected guild master of a light guild. Even his affiliations to Sabertooth were thin at times, but he had gotten to know Luna rather well. The two had worked together in the past and even had some steamy encounters. Still, they were very different and would clash often.

Maybe that was why the *** ended up being so explosive at times.

When the client came about, Indra heard what the man said . For a moment, he thought his ears were playing tricks on him. HIS sharp hearing as a Dragon Slayer, being fooled-- but it was denial as he soon heard those words "I see your husband showed up'.

"WHAT?!" Indra and Luna said almost in sync.

He KNEW this would happen. The pinked hair adopted mother was desperate to turn him into a semi-respectable familyman. He didn't get out of a monastery to be roped in THIS fast. He heard the man explaining it could be temporary, that the job required it only briefly... but he heard enough that his ears were burning.

"And I'm out of here. Good luck, Luna..." He turned in a hasty attempt to leave.

However, Kage was quick to stop him as he quickly tugged on Indra's leg. "Wait a minute, Sensei. We can't just leave her at the alter like that. I get this job is akward... but that would mean we fail. Ninja never abandon a mission."

"Fine. Then you get hitched," Indra retorted, making the cat flinch with curiousity and surprise.

"I could take the bullet... Er i mean, I would gladly be your hubby. You know I'm more committed than that frizzy-haired monkey." Tailong commented, swooning happily at Luna for the chance to be temporarally wedded to her.

"No one asked you!" Tailong retorted at Tailong's insult.

True, Luna had 3 bachelors to choose from. Indra, Tailong, and Kage-- One bruddingly handsome, the other two adorable creatures either way. Indra however, as well was blushing badly that his whole face was almost red. His life as a rogue of Midi made him not the best relationship material so marrage, even if pretend, was a concept he wasn't even entertaining.

The quip from the man made Indra gave him a dangerous glare and a spark of electricity around his body for a few seconds to proove Luna's point. Still, Luna would have to convince him.

He bit his lip as he didn't answer but just gave her a unhappy grumble... but not saying no either.

Tailong was gonna rub this in his face forever...

Seeing Indra on the verge of explosion, literal and metaphorical made the situation tense. Luna knew that Indra was not the type for any form of monogamy, Luna was okay with that to an extent.  The elderly man felt incredibly threatened at this point as the Dragon Slayer would probably smell a small trace of urine as the elderly man trembled.

Luna was disappointed when Indra started to walk away, Luna knew she had to try. She disregarded the two animals as she wanted the man. Tailong was just, alright for a friend, and Luna was not interested in Exceeds. The fairy sprinted around to get in the way of the Dragon Slayer, followed by leaning in and wrapped her arms around the man as she got close, having faith that he at the very least wouldn't want to hurt her.

She dropped her mental barriers for a minute as she decided to not try to act stronger then she was. "Indra, please, I've been on the short stick of abuse my whole life, I was always the one keeping order. There are few people I trust to depend on in this world and damn it you are one of them. I don't want some prince charming or business man... I want a man who has a strong genuine belief and knows what he wants to protect in this world, I was not aware of the marriage requirement but damn I still would've called for you..."

Luna looked up, sincerity in her eyes as she looked up to meet his, her face red from blushing as she opened up. She kept back her frustration to no avail. However it seemed as though she forgotten that she was asking for a temporary marriage. She remembered the deal her mother had with her men, and had no qualms with it. Luna understood and appreciated the sanctity of marriage, but as long as both parties knew what they were getting into before hand she learned from her Fairy culture anything goes, which stuck with her.

"Don't you get it you big dummy! The only man I want and can trust my life with is you! I know you, hell you can have a thousand mistresses for all I care, I know I can't fit all your needs and I'm fine with that, so long as you don't lie about it we're fine! You aren't some genius 'perfect ideal' man, your full of flaws, but you know what is important. I love you and I can't imagine marrying anyone else!"

The elderly man began to wipe away tears as the display was just moving. "That was beautiful... Only a monster could deny that-" He recalls Indra is still nearby and cut himself off. "I'll just shut up until I'm needed..."

Indra would of just left till Luna had appeared in front of him with a pleading look. He couldn't hide the flush of red on his face by this sudden change of events. Her words were deep, meaningful and heartfelt. He even caught some tears down her face. That said, he never ever wanted to hurt her this way or any way for that matter. Still in ANY relationship, this was too fast to tie the knot.

Seeing her open up fully-- and the sarcastic comment from the chaplan, Indra raised up his hands to calm her down. "Okay, okay. I'm sorry. I find this mess a bit uncomfortable... but I'll do it. I suppose your right when it it is about being close to no one else... I can relate. But you can imagine my suprirse you know," Indra said, "I'll do it. I guess since its only temporary, its fine." He said.

A gasp came from Kage and Tailong as the two swooned over the 'newly weds'. "Daww! The happy couple. Where's the honey moon? " the dragon teased while Kage snickered nearby.

ZAAAP! Indra didn't hesitate to send a mild flow of lightning at them, silencing them with his shocking magic. "Dear gods, I'm surrounded..." he grumbled.

"I'm sorry Luna. I will do it. Just I am sure you know since we still haven't known each other long, a girl imposing on the guy to marry is not a good sign, delivering or receiving. " he commented. Only time that happens is when a girl is not really sane-- and while Luna was crazy in ***, that didn't apply to anything else. "Either way If i had to pick someone, it would be you over anyone else I know right now..." he said, trying to play cool.

Indra moved with Luna to the elderly man to get the official part over with. The sooner the better-- and while Tailong and Kage were 'shocked' for the moment. At least they could do this and get the requirements they needed to get the job done. Either way, he of course would be there for Luna-- he just didn't think it would involve walking down an isle with her.

Luna's tears dried as she could feel her heart beating steadier once Indra confessed that he would marry her and no other. She ignored Indra injuring his companions as she wanted nothing to ruin the mood. The officiate opened his black book, anxious to get things over with as he started to prepare the spell. "By the way, I am obligated as a man of Ishgar to let you two know, I am only ordained for temporary marriages, it will be annulled by the next sunrise. I feel as though both of you forgot that part. I'll let an official officiate to officially handle your marriage later. After all, Miss Mira has some, religious duties to attend to before she can wed."

Luna almost wanted to fall flat on her face as she heard the man speak, she had forgotten that the marriage was temporary. She sighed as she simply shot the man a look with her emerald eyes that seemed strong enough to pierce diamond. "Just get this over with before Indra has to learn. He is of Midi, and while my father is of Midi, I belong to the faith of my maternal lineage. All premarital customs are my business for now."

The man seemed to speed read the spell at an alarming rate, two transparent silver rings would appear, one on each of the wizard's left ring fingers. Meanwhile a horse carried cart pulled up beside the group with a silent and gruff middle aged man driver."Alright, you two should know how to seal the deal. Kiss and the rings and the  spell with take affect."

The elderly man seemed to run, terrified of the two wizards at this point. Luna turned to Indra and looked up at him as she gently tightened her grip on his hands. "Well, better kiss the bride..."

THe seconds became minutes to Indra as he rolled his eyes at the old man going on. It wasn't a question if this was temporary or not but it was embarrassing and it pushed both of them into it. Sure, he liked Luna-- but marriage after 3 dates was not exactly what he call 'exclusive' let alone neither of them were that super compatible. Either way as a favor he could do this for Luna.

At the mention of the rings, he took the small sample bands they had and he placed it on her finger, as did she to his-- though his fingers were so thick it was not the easiest fit.

Finally was the kiss and Indra took that part with gusto. He pulled Luna in and kissed her with a fiery embrace as his arm wound around her waist and almost picked her up as he pressed his lips to hers. Enough to make her hungry for more as he slowly pulled away.

"Lucky bastard..." Tailong grumbled, now curled on top of Kage's head.

With the Ceremony done, the job was soon presented to them to deliver the cart of chocolate across town. Indra rolled his eyes as the ceremony soon ended and he ran a hand through his unkept hair. "Weirdest job ever..." he said, but didn't mind holding Luna's hands.

He just hoped they would have a steamy 'wedding night' when this was all over. She could at least indulge him in that.
