Her light-pink lips formed a faint smile on Mona’s pale-complexioned visage while her golden eyes gazed at the three men whose ages varied from their mid-twenties to late fifties sitting across from her in this particular Iceberg restaurant. She could hear the winter storm howling outside of the brick building. The raven-haired eleven woman knew that this was a normal occurrence in the land of endless winter. Her slender gripped the middle of the wine glasses which was filled with a rose-colored wine. The raven-haired elven woman brought the brew to her lips and took a quick sip of it - savoring the sweet and tart taste as it went down her throat. Mona placed the glass back onto the table in front of her. “It would seem that we have reached an impasse on our negotiations regarding the amount your company wants us to pay for your share of helping our goods reach inland. Ah… I had hoped that a eighty-twenty split would have been acceptable to your group.” She said in a sweet tone - still smiling at the three men in front of her. One of the men, the youngest in the group who had blonde hair, slammed his fist down on the table showing that he had grown a bit annoyed with the pattering between the two older men and the eleven woman in front of him. “Woman! You know the amount your company is trying to pay us for our services is complete thievery. Our people risk their lives each day going through that howling blizzard to deliver those supplies so the least you can do is pay us a bit more for their sacrifice. We will have no less than an sixty-four split,” He told her. “My. My. Using an appeal to my ethics to obtain a bit more money for yourselves,” Mona replied. “Why? Don’t you speak like that to me, you arrogant bitch!” The blonde man stated - reaching across the table to grab her. Without a sound, a bullet entered through the window of the establishment shooting the man in his hand. A scream of bloody murder echoed through the dining establishment. “Did your mother not tell you about grabbing a woman without her consent? Or are such basic manners not taught in Iceberg?” Mona replied - reaching for her glass and taking another sip of the wine inside of it before putting it back down again. Her smile never wavered as she looked at the two other men. “But, I think we have reached agreement about the price, right? After all… I do hate killing when it isn’t needed and such. However, I think a show of force is needed from time to time.” She said to the two other men. The older gray-haired men shifted nervously in their seats - not paying attention to their younger associate who was screaming in pain from the bullet that went through his hand. “Y-yes… Miss Mona. I think we have reached an agreement.” One of the older men said with bile in his voice. It was the fact that this elven woman had a sniper shoot one of their associates in the hand. No… the true issue was the fact that they had sniper sitting in that building across from them. The fact they hadn’t responded was a bit odd to them. But now it had made complete sense. She had brought her own small group of men with her to this meeting in preparation for this entire thing. It was like she had said - this meeting was nothing more than a show of force. “Yes, now let’s move to a different table. It would be bad if your associate’s blood stained the documents. Also, one of you should show him out so he can get medical treatment for the wound.” With a smile and a bit of repayment to the restaurant owner for his window and silence, Mona had completed her job in Iceberg.
