It was a day with a clear summer sky, not a single cloud that would put a blemish on the light blue color that stretched out far beyond the horizon. The only thing in the sky, a high noon sun casting down its rays of light to the earth, granting the people of Fiore a nice and warm Indian summer. However, the sky may appear as serene as ever, but down on the ground there was a scenery that looked everything but peaceful.
A small farming village in the midst of a meadow painted with the colors of autumn was set aflame and turned into nothing more but smoldering debris. It was truly a grim sight to behold, the livestock the farmers held so dearly ran amok. Frightened of the fiery ablaze that had taken the homes of their owners, upon seeing the devastation their natural instincts kicked in forcing the herd to crash through the fences which normally held them together. However among the destruction and the chaos, there was one man that looked upon the scene with delight. With his lips curled up into a conceited smile he gazed upon the destroyed homes and watched as the inhabitants tried to defend themselves against him. Little did they know, the man they were trying to face was part of a superior race. The kind that had abilities that far surpassed those of a normal human, he was a mage. And he had used his magical prowess do lay waste to this small farming community.

The lot that lived here were poorly armed, some had managed to scrape enough jewels together to actually buy a sword, but most of them had nothing besides the tools they used for the land. One of those actually had the guts to attack Dahau straight on. It was a scrappy young fellow that roared as he charged straight for the darke mage, his right arm raised high while holding a sickle. However it was a clumsy attack. The second the farm boy swung the sickle Dahau;s way, he simply slapped the weapon out of farmer’s hand while he grabbed his face with his other. Leaving the poor soul dangling in his grip as he raised him several inches from the ground. Between the space of his own fingers, Dahau could see the fear in the eyes of the boy while he desperately tried to pull away the hand that held him in such a dangerous position. ‘’It’s already to late’’ said Dahau while a purple glow started to emit from inside his palm only to be followed by a magical blast that instantly crushed the head of his victim. A  female scream followed as one of the bystanders stared at the gruesome sight of the body dropping to the floor as Dahau finally loosened his grip. He turned his gaze to the crowd and for a moment his eyes glared crimson red white a chesire smile. '’Well… who’s next’’

The young woman had accompanied the older warrior mage to what was a tranquil little village in the middle on nowhere, even she could see it was nothing more than a simple farming village with a tight-knit community. She was at a loss as to why he had decided to come here, she doubted it would be to fight or destroy things; after all there were bigger and stronger targets to choose from for someone as powerful as himself. She however found a tree and moved to a low hanging branch to sit and watch what was to happen next. His next actions made her sigh as he set the village on fire, her hand going to her head "Lord Dahau, I am sure there are people stronger than these vermin that are worth your time." she said calmly not bothering to move, to her it just seemed dishonourable and a cowards move to go after those who where blatantly to weak to defend themselves against people like themselves. Then it clicked perhaps this was nothing more than bait to lure out the true target, to lure out a stronger opponent, one or more worthy of his time. She knew he seemed at a loss since his own guild seemed to bend its knee to the guild of Nightmare and its guild master Chaoris. She just believed that this was his way of working things out.

She watched as woman ran for safety with their children and males gathered what they could to defend their families. "What fools..." she whispered leaning against the trunks "Such a waste of life..." she continued saddened by what she was watching, she wanted to bare witness to their conviction even if it was all for nothing. Someone had to remember them and what had happened this day for the good or bad. She did wonder however how their guild master would take such shameful actions of the other. Yes, they are members of a dark guild and in all wars there is casualties and collateral damage; she understood this thanks to her brother and speaking to other members of the guild but this wasn't a war... was it? She didn't know but she wanted to know the point, she had been thinking to herself until she heard the cry of a young male watching as he was killed with little effort of Dahau. "Are you feeling better my lord Dahau?" she asked moving so her feet dangled off the branch she was sitting on. "Or do you need to make an invalid point by bullying those who stand no chance against you?" she said crossing her arms her eyes narrowed showing she really didn't agree with the goings on "What is the point of this mindless killing, your no better than a barbaric savage with no morals. I had always thought of you as a warrior with honour." she said knowing that every warrior had honour and morals no matter how twisted and hoped that this would make him stop what he was doing to these worms and aim for a more promising target.
