When Chatty Kathy was bored of his short answers and pointing out everything, she would lean forward and start messing first with the air controls. First she had it on full, then not liking that she turned it down low before turning her eye to the radio. She would flick through the stations before bursting the music so loud he was sure the windows might break as she found some rock song she enjoyed. Being way to animated, she would dance in her seat rocking the car and probably looking like a manic as the mercenary kept a tight grip on the wheel and deep focus on the road.
It wasn’t until the woman actually touched him trying to get him to join in on the dancing that something snapped within the mercenary. Instead of doing something dangerous like jerking the wheel to scare the woman, he would calmly get the car out of traffic before pulling off to the side of the road and turning on his emergency blinkers to avoid cars hitting him.
Turning off the music, he would give the woman with him a stern look before pretty much telling her to stop what she was doing and be quiet. Needless to say, she didn’t like that, but reluctantly obeyed as she crossed her arms and pouted as she looked out the window. With that out of the way, Deshi would get turn off the emergency lights and get them safely back into traffic before taking them back to the driving school. Once there he would park and get out of the car.
Naturally, his lovely instructor wanted to give him attitude and tried to even fail him due to him not letting her do what she wanted; however, a cold smile and a reminder that that little drive could’ve resulted in death instead shut the woman down.
With great reluctance, she would give him the paper that said pass. Taking it from her the mercenary would leave the garage to get the rest of the paper work processed to complete this task once and for all.
