Mary looked over the intercepted letter one more time. A young lady was to be brought to the banquet and while keeping an eye on her. Shouldn't be too difficult, but that was kind of boring. How about we test what the little lady really thinks. This still made Mary wonder who would want a banquet crashed by crushing an already fragile mind of a young girl. Well, not her problem, as long as she's paid she doesn't care what horrendous acts her employer asks of her.

At the meeting point she waits for her charge just outside their house, in a dress, while beautiful and fit for the the party, wasn't too shiny and still rather simple. After all, the young lady was the star of the show, not the pirate that played dress up.

"Greetings, My lady. I shall accompany you to the banquet." She'd say while bowing for the lady. All she had to do was pretend she was a legal mage to protect her and fall in for an ill servant. For now, she had to make sure the lady was comfortable with her, if she made a good impression she'd probably let her guard down later.

"Okay. Lead the way." The girl said. Her voice was quiet and formal, but her body betrayed insecurity. Which she of course knew all about from the intercepted letter. Not that it changed the mission. Mary nodded her head and guided her charge to the banquet. Making small talk with the young lady.

"If something is the matter, just sign me and I'll come. Don't worry, I'll see it." Mary said as the destination was in sight. The lady nodded and they approached the large building. As they arrived the servant had to guide their noble towards the entrance and the banquet. Of course the nobles and the servants weren't sitting together with the dinner. So Mary made her way to the servant table after offering the lady a smile and wishing her good luck.

Of course the servant table was notably less glamorous and had worse food than the nobles, but it wasn't bad. On some of her journey's she'd kill a guy if it meant getting a little bit of food like this. Of course, if sufficiently hunger almost anyone would kill to eat. That's simple survival instinct. She noticed her lady moving towards the toilet. Sounded like the proper time to enact her plan. As she thought so she slipped the knife on the table in the sleeve of her dress. After which she excused herself before going to the women's bathroom herself.

"My lady, are you alright?" She'd ask as if she was worried. Of course, Mary didn't really care what happened to her. The request said to cause chaos, so nobody had die today. But where was the fun in that? She'd swear she could hear a sob from one of the stalls. The other ones were unoccupied, which helped greatly with her current plan. After a short while the young lady leaved her stall and turned to Mary. The pirate could see the girl had cried.

"What's wrong? What happened?" Mary faked her worrying attitude to the best of her abilities. She could see the girl didn't want this "party" at all.

"I could hear them. Talking behind my back. I ha...!" That was the point that Mary covered the mouth of the lady. Her charge almost raised her voice, but she couldn't allow that. If anyone heard them like that her plan could be ruined.

"Not so loud. I know, right. Pretending you care, what if we just... forget it all?" Mary started to speak less humble and more suggestive. She could see the questionable look on the little face. If this plan failed she could always cause some trouble herself, but this way was much more fun. It was much more fun watching an "innocent" someone destroy themselves than a troublemaker cause trouble.

"Just go back and teach them a lesson, why do you need to put up with this anyhow? You could just wait until you're parents marry you off to some old fart for a penny who only wants you for your back and rack. Or you could make something of your life." She'd encourage her further while the pointy knife slid out of her sleeve. Which she started to twirl around.

"You get what I'am saying?" She'd wink as she handed over the knife. At first the lady was just dumbstruck. She'd hesitate. That was to be expected. Mary just asked her to do the unimaginable. A normal person would immediately refuse, but the lady realized that her life would forever be in a gilded cage if nothing was done. Realizing this might be her only chance for a free life she took the knife and her face changed with determination. Seemed like Mary's words had an effect. Now onto the main show.

The moment the lady entered she stabbed the first person at the head of the table in the side. The first few seconds there was silence over the entire room and looks of unbelief nearby. The following moment there were screams throughout the hall and people fleeing to the exit. Considering the location of the building and were they were. There would about 15 minutes before the rune knights arrived. So they had 10 minutes to cause as much chaos as possible. The local security were just two bouncers. Heavy muscled man standing on the sidelines. Who didn't expect to have much work tonight. But they were already moving towards their target. When Mary passed one on the way Mary "Accidentally" tripped one after which she gave him a taste of her elbow on the back of his head. Knocking him out cold.

Since there was little time and people were already hurrying their way outside she'd have to do something great and quick. Case in point knocked over a candle and watched the tablecloth, and a few moments later the table catch fire. By that time the room only had 3 people inside that weren't unconscious. Mary, her charge and the bouncer busy securing the little lady. Of course, Mary could just flee. But she'd taking a liking to this girl. She'd done well to free herself like this. As such she ran towards the pair and knocked the bouncer out who had his whole mind set on restraining the struggling young noblewoman. She ripped the sides of her dress as she addressed her charge.

"About time we leave. The rune knights will arrive any second!" She said as she helped her back up. Taking her hand and running with her to the backdoor. Leaving the building to burn behind them. All they had to do now was find someplace to hide the night and leave town tomorrow morning. It wouldn't be easy, the rune knights had their ways to find criminals. But that was part of the fun of course.
