Will reply when 2-3 people or more have posted.

Taloned feet stood at the edge of the cliff face, bright green optics looking up at the many cliff ledges and shapes in the rock formation that in combination with each other entirely blocked out any sight of sky or evidence there was anything besides the solid earth above. "Can I really get out here?" she turned her head, tilting it to the side as she looked at the other shade dragon standing beside her. Considering the size of the grotto's dragon population? Most shades born here had rarely if ever left because there was too much to do here, but she couldn't stay, she had to see the world and maybe dodge the sniper shots always being fired at her any time of day or night. "I'm certain." the young dragoness sighed, this was going to be her way out, but it looked far from safe, it looked like flying into the roof of the grottos many caverns. "It doesn't look very safe." she pointed out her concern, shrinking away slightly from the sheer mass of stone she would have to navigate to get out. "Myself and the other elite fliers are the only ones who can get in and out this way, it's suicide for anything else, if you take it slow I know you can do it and if you leave this way no one can wait to shot at you on the other end because your siblings don't know where this comes out, it's safe as you'll ever get." the other dragon had a very good point, with her family taking cheap shots any other exit risked her flying right into a fire blast on the other end, she was going to go this way.

She had left hours ago, navigating the nearly impossible straight vertical system of obstacles. Even though one was really supposed to fly the whole way? Pandora could not say she had not climbed for a good deal of it. How she had done it mattered not, she had made it out on the other side and seen the blue sky for the first time. A small rumble came from her ebony chest as she realized how pretty the clouds seemed to be. Would she be able to fly that high?! For the moment she resorted to sniffing around to see if she could find any source of water or something to hunt, now that she no longer had the safety of the grotto, she was going to have to learn fast. Most of her kind? Took their first flight outside of the caverns with their family, but that had not been an option for her, they certainly didn't want her leaving.

Flying would have been much more convenient, but the dragon chose to walk around the mysterious canyons instead, tail sweeping behind her knocking out any footprints she happened to leave. With all these twists and turns? The dragoness guessed that this place must have been some sort of death trap for anything that couldn't fly up and out if they got too far in. Claws tapped against stone as she finally wandered to the edge of a small pond hidden within the walls of the canyon, likely fed by an underground spring. Currently she was largely unaware of anyone else around due to her fascination with the water, stooping over to take a few laps from it.

Wearing a blue t-shirt with black skirt and white tennis shoes, Victoria entered the area known as Mysterious Canyon. It was probably a bad idea. She had never been here before and she was a city dweller. She was not a survivalist or an expert on the wilderness. The brunette was in entirely new territory in more ways than one.

She wandered the canyon for some time, not knowing where in Fiore she was going. This was a bad idea. She did not even pack food or any water. This sucked. She really should have planned this out better, but the brunette just had to go to Mysterious Canyon on a lark.

Tired of walking in the midday sun, she decided to take shelter in a cave. Equipping her magic shotgun, she slowly walked into the cave, being sure to check behind her. Knowing her luck, she had picked a cave that bandits used for a hideout to take shelter in. A quarter of the way in, she paused in place. Why was she doing this again?

    -Several hours later-

Exhausted and more than a little hungry and thirsty, Victoria found herself staring at a small pond that she had somehow found. Getting here involved a lot of walking once the brunette emerged from the cave that she had ducked into to escape the sun. She wondered how she even found the way out. Victoria heard noises coming from around the pond... she kept her weapon ready in case she did stumble across bandits.

She knelt down to present a lower profile. She noticed that someone was drinking from the water. At least it looked like a person. Victoria stood up, dispelled her magic shotgun, and called out a greeting.

"Hi there. I'm really lost. Do you know a way out of here?" Victoria asked. She was not worried if the person was friendly or not. Aside from her magic shotgun, she also had many weapons spells handy. If all else failed, the brunette carried a collapsible baton for use.

Cold, ragged, and icy breath chilled the air as a figure moved around the enigmatic place known as Mysterious Canyon. Unlike the usual, Rosa was in Fenrir's Full-Takeover form, her normally identifiable crimson red hair now wild and grey. Sharp teeth and claws along with fur-like armor covering her body.

She had originally come here on the rumor that there was a shrine somewhere in the place that supposedly worshiped an old demonic beast. Being the woman she was, she of course dived in headfirst without a second thought as to if the rumor was just that-a rumor. Surprisingly enough though, the rumor for once actually turned out to be true. It had taken much toil and trouble, along with an almost endless amount of searching, but she had found the place. A dimly lit place f stone, with a sacrificial altar dead in the center, behind that altar was a statue of something..demonic. A large horned beast with a humanoid upper body and the lower body of a horse, spindly long arms and a giant maw of razor sharp teeth.

Despite her somewhat dim appearance Rosabell was actually extremely well versed in things relating to mythology and folklore so she immediately recognized what the beast was. A Nuckelavee. Of course Rosa immediately lunged for the opportunity to have such a cool takeover on her side, of course she wouldn't even begin to use it until she managed to find a quiet place to try and tap into it but that wasn't really the point anyways.

Of course she didn't realize that touching the statue could activate a trap, said trap being a den full of monsters.  Hence why she was in her full-takeover form looking like she had just had a fight with a bear.  She was so low on magic power that she couldn't afford to activate her wings and fly out of the place, so as of current she was simply looking for an alcove or a ledge to scale up using her claws, and if you couldn't guess..that wasn't going so well.

She probably should have inferred the overall mysteriousness and maze like qualities from the place before she blindly jumped into the place as it was named Mysterious Canyon, but still it shouldn't have been this hard to traverse. On top of that it was hot, extremely so and finding water was quickly becoming a better and better plan. Thankfully for once lady luck seemed to be in her favor as the scent of fish quickly filled her nostrils along with..reptile? She didn't pay the other scent much heed though as where wild fish was, water tended to be.

Following her nose, she was quickly lead through a short cave system soon arriving at an opening that overlooked a pond. She heard faint sounds of speech, but she was too lost in wanting to pay attention to what was being said. Without a second of hesitation she lunged forward with a gleeful smile on her face curling up her legs and jumping into the pond.
    "Cannonbaaaalll!"

What followed was a large mass of grey landing in the pond with a giant splash, she herself greedily taking in water as she did so.

What did cats like? Fish. What was Nyx in the middle of a god forsaken canyon for? Fish. There was supposed to be a super secret pond or something, specifically a rather isolated one. Now, what else did cats like? Sleeping, yes. What was Nyx's plan? Eat fish by herself, and then sleep. She could just use Charon to propel herself back up with their puncture-power whenever she felt the need to leave.
It was... Hot, to say the least, and for once her airy attire seemed rather practical! The fact that said attire was black and therefore absorbing the heat..? Well now, that wasn't important, it wasn't like Nyx was getting cooked or anything...

Numerous times would she fan herself, even desperately summoning Babylon to cover her. due to his ghostly, ethereal appearance, light and in turn heat got through nonetheless but she still tried, fully aware of the failure. It wasn't very hard to find the pond in all honesty, because she was in fact a cat, and she was in fact smelling for fish in a place that was devoid of it in all but one place. The only problem was getting to said place. She stopped herself from tearing through numerous rock walls to get to it, taking hours before she could finally, finally see the entrance to the cave that it all came from.
She'd be lying if she said it didn't take at least another hour for her to navigate the area, but she finally came to the pond only to turn the corner and get a face-full of water. At the least, and I mean the very least, her eyes had been closed, so there was one minuscule positive in a literal sea of negatives.

Who was the perpetrator, the culprit, the guilty, the cat needed to know immediately! She would tear them apart! She was going to eat out of that pond and now surely, surely, the fish were startled. It was going to be a challenge to fish out of that, especially considering she hadn't wanted to swim to do it. She didn't have a swimsuit handy, and she certainly hadn't suddenly decided to actually wear a bra under this dress. She might have to make do if worse came to worse...
Of course the splasher in this case was Rosa, it was always Rosa, this chick was everywhere and she was starting to develop a distaste for it. She kept herself hidden for now, she need not be a part of this cluster, especially when she took a look at the other two. Armed and tailed... and people called her the weird one.

In order to truly take the sort of explanatory flight that she wished to take whenever she chose to leave the walls of the canyons? Pandora knew she was going to need to be gased up entirely, hydrated and stomach filled to the brim because once her wings hit the air, she wasn't going to want to come down for a while. With a whole wide world out there to explore, one denied to her thus so far, what young girl would not want to explore the entire place, especially when they could fly in the bright blue sky for the first time. Having exited in such a secluded location, the dragoness was not expecting to encounter other species anytime soon, predicting that she would remain the only creature around until she had been in flight for hours. Apparently, this new open world she had finally leaped into would be insistent on surprising her because her guess was far from accurate!

From the stories of her parents, the green-eyed beast quickly assumed to be the creature she was looking at to be some species of hominid, a kingdom of species her dragon peers had called very dangerous. How could this thing holding a shiny object be any bit dangerous? Even at her young age, when she stood with her head up, she was a couple of feet larger than the other creature, she didn't recall hearing about any special abilities that let them be dangerous to things bigger than them. Observing carefully for several moments, her head held high, she tilted her head when she could find no reason for her kind considering hominids dangerous. At some points, other dragons could be drama kings and queens, so this could very well be one of those cases where one small dragon had a bad encounter and their story went like wildfire through the masses of dragons until even the large dragons developed an unnatural fear.

This hominid was speaking to her, luckily she had the natural translation abilities of all dragons, so even though the creature was speaking another language, she could understand them perfectly. Apparently, this hominid was lost and could not find its way out of the canyon. Would this be her first chance to sample meat from a species that didn't roam hunted in the grotto?! Pandora took a step back, thinking better when she noticed rather intentionally or unintentionally there was more than one of them, causing any sort of aggressive behavior to be risky until she could evaluate their abilities. Even if she could not see how they were dangerous, that did not make every other dragon in the grotto wrong.

In response to Victoria, the dragon nodded and turned her head skyward making a noise to signify that the only way out she knew was up. Having responded to the question asked of her, the dragoness backed up several feet, ran towards the water and jumped in, diving like a penguin would, this thing had to have fish she could eat before she flew.

Several minutes later, the beast resurfaced, her wings propelling her out of the water, tail guiding her direction and claws making sure she didn't go head first into something, four or five large fish clutched in her jaws. Pretty good for her first time hunting outside the grotto where she had first been taught. Glancing around she noted the hominids were still there, but promptly ignored them to begin eating a fish at a time. She could talk to them, but that required transforming and she would be able to eat a lot less in her other form.

Post by Victoria Sheridan 4th September 2018, 10:04 pm

Victoria was waiting for an answer when she was splashed by a person who had performed a cannonball leap into the water. As she tried to shake the water from her hair, the brunette thought she was looking at a young woman, but it turned out that she had been looking at a black dragon the entire time! She stifled a scream and took a step back before inelegantly falling onto her butt. The heat must have gotten to her earlier. It was the only way that she could have thought a black dragon was a woman.

Victoria paid attention to its gesture and the noise it made. It seemed to be indicating that the only way out of here was to go up, and go up as in fly. The brunette sighed. Of course flying was the only way out. The high canyon walls should have been a clue. Unless she wanted to stumble through the cave system again, she would have to find a way out that involved going up.

Victoria was no rock climber, so taking that approach was out of the question. She really did not want to go through the caves again because it took her so long to get out the first time. And she could not fly herself, so that was not looking to be an option. What a drag.

"So the only way out is up, huh?" Victoria asked rhetorically, asking herself more than anyone else. Of course it was. That led her back to the question of how she was going to get out of here. She was about to ask the dragon if she could hitch a ride when it dove into the pond and began eating fish. Interrupting it would be a bad idea because it might decide to eat mage instead of fish.

"Is the water here safe to drink?" Victoria asked anyone within earshot. She was thirsty and really wanted some water to drink. However, she was not going to chug water that could make her violently ill. Not if she had a choice, anyway.

Rosabell stayed underwater for a little bit longer than she should have, mostly because she saw that the small pond lake thingy was chock-full of fish and she not having eaten yet was feeling quite peckish. Still being as enthralled in drinking and eating as she was it would come as no surprise that when a reptilian mass of scales hopped into the water and expertly scooped up multiple fish without paying much heed to her..she was scared out of her wits.

After a comical yelp she would quickly jump out of the water, her form near unidentifiable save for a mass of grey hair and torn clothes. Thankfully she managed to land rather perfectly despite her messy appearance, her feet connecting with the rocky canyon ground with no signs of stumbling or weakness. If her audience couldn't see her before they most certainly could now, her wild wet mane of shaggy grey hair and claws definitely giving her a different aura than the other humans in the area.

Of course, the most stand out portion of appearance happened to be the rather large fish caught in between her jaws. The poor thing was alive and writhing in pain, her teeth easily puncturing its flesh and causing blood to pour down her chin, thankfully it didn't take long for Rosa to grab the creature and devour it rather hungrily causing a messy scene for anyone who had queasiness issues.

After she finished..gorging, she nonchalantly tilted her head towards the woman with the weapon that appeared to be a gun. She had briefly recalled her hearing of the woman asking about if the water was able to be drunknen, Rosa deciding to oblige the woman quickly spoke up.

"You should be a-okay! It's fresh water, and from what I could tell it's pretty clean. Well, clean enough for fish which in my book makes it alright." Her voice came out much deeper than she intended, the rough tone aptly matching her wild wolfish look. She smelt the breif scent of cat, but she payed it no heed the woman probably just owned a furball or two.

Of course then her eyes then wandered over to the object of her fright, a large black dragon peacefully munching on fish. Needless to say..Rosabell threw away all sensible sense of thought. In front of her was an actual genuine dragon, no fake imitating moon snake thing, an real honest to god dragon. A rather girly screech of wonder erupted from her throat, the gravely undertone making it sound extremely odd as she seemingly teleported over to the creature of interest in a comical cloud of smoke.

"Can I pet you?" There was no fear in her eyes or in her tone as she stood next to the creature, a wolfish grin on her face that spoke volumes of mischief. Even if the creature refused, she would most likely attempt to anyways. Afterall, it wasn't everyday that you get to pet a dragon. Hell, if she was lucky she might even get to ride the beast!
