Post by Masha 26th June 2018, 5:34 pm

Masha couldn't shake the jitters. Or more precisely, her memories. One of her lays had given her an interesting tidbit during pillow talk. Information about a woman that was looking for something who looked exactly like Masha. The succubus scrubbed her hand over her face. When her paramour had described the woman, Masha had recognized her right away. It was the exact description of one of the women scientists who had transformed Masha into a succubus. Talk about a mood killer. It had taken almost more than Masha had to prevent herself from striking out at the man. At one time she would have killed the man to alleviate her mood. Now, as a legal mage, such things were frowned on. She wanted, more than anything, to know that the scientists hadn't placed her on an irrevocable path. Savage Skull hadn't really helped her choose. She knew that now. It caused her no small amount of grief to know that the home she had thought she had there was only an illusion. When Masha had learned about the scientist, she had used everything at her disposal to track the scientist down. At which point, despite being ready to storm into Motor City and kill the bitch, Masha had gone to Kite. Her guild master had the right to know what she was doing so he didn't think she would go rogue. He trusted her to handle it to her surprise. Still, Masha had felt uneasy about doing this herself. She hadn't ever had to face the demons of her past before. They had always been behind her. That was why she had called Adalinda.

Adalinda was... not a friend per say but an acquaintance Masha trusted. The woman was straight forward and unable to hide her emotions well. At least not from what Masha had seen. Not to mention Masha had written letters to the woman since first meeting her - which she hoped Ada had received. It might be a little awkward otherwise. Masha had sent a summonings to the woman, an urgent magic mail that relentlessly hit a person until they opened it. Then it continuously annoyed the person until they returned the letter to the person that sent it. The other woman might not be too happy with Masha by the time she arrived. Maybe she should have gone herself to retrieve the mage. She groaned a little at the thought. This might place her between two enemies instead of with a partner at her back. Masha looked for a way to remedy this situation.

At that moment, Masha noticed the people around her were watching her intently. It was strange, not like the usual attention that Masha got from people. In most cases, she could feel the lust radiating off of people. Probably would have been better to wear a different outfit now that she thought about it. This one covered a little more than her body could handle. She was leaking pheromones in small amounts as she walked through Motor City. It had been hard to pass this outfit up however. It helped make Masha look fabulous and badass all at the same time. Plus the boys and girls all got a good deal of side boob action whenever her cape swirled around her. She made sure to swirl her cape every five minutes or so. On top of that, the boots felt divine on her legs. Masha made a mental note to pick up a few more on her way out of town. The creepy people got closer and Masha picked out a sound each was emitting. What was that? It sounded chillingly familiar. Something that niggled on the edge of her memory. There was a chilling shiver when she finally remembered. The scientist she was after, Levyna, had had a fascination with automatons. They had been the woman's hobby. Which was weird. Who had work outside of work as a hobby? Anyways any time the woman had wanted to test a creation, she would pit it against Masha. Every one of her creations had made that sound.

Masha dropped into a ready stance. "Where are you, Adalinda?" She breathed wishing the mage would appear already. Her magic was going to be difficult to use in this situation. The entities that powered her magic would easily take advantage of her compromised state. She unsheathed her sword. That was the safer choice. On top of that, the scientist had never given her a weapon when she faced the automatons. Now things might be more even. Masha cut through the eight automatons with ease, her movements like a beautiful dance. Her cape flared and twisted blinding the automatons before she cut them down. "Adalinda, you better show yourself before I turn you over my knee. I do not wanna face these things alone!" Masha yelled turning toward the entrance to the City. It was the most likely for Adalinda to come through since it was closest to the closest dock town. If Adalinda decided to come into Motor City another way... Masha might be in trouble. Those automatons had only been a scouting party. Once the scientist got wind of where Masha was, they would descend in a wave of all shapes, sizes, and strengths, innocents be damned. Masha would not be surprised if Levyna leveled the whole town to get to the succubus. That was why she needed Adalinda here as soon as the mage could get here. Masha cleaned the oil off her sword before sitting on the nearest bench. Lover's Kiss was placed across her knees. She was ready for Adalinda to appear and for any other automatons that might make themselves known.

Post by Lethe 29th June 2018, 4:00 pm

Adalinda had been with her boyfriend when she got attacked by the letter. She nearly tore it up before she realized it was a letter and went to read it. She takes a deep breath while reading the content on it and then finally replied back to Masha saying she'd accept helping her out with whatever when the letter wouldn't stop bugging her still. In honesty, Ada had received the other letters the mage had sent her, but she didn't know what to reply to them with. Letters weren't her thing. So this summoning was the first time she ever replied to it. Tammy had made her quickly mention that she was sorry for not replying to the other letters since she didn't know how to respond to them before she sent the summons back. Adalinda had been upset that she had to take the boat, but she chugged the alcohol Yuudai gave her for the trip, and suffered through the ride. Tamaria was on the ride with her though, keeping a careful eye on her iron dragon slayer after she consumed the alcohol. She luckily didn't have to do much as Ada functioned near normally while nauseous.

When the duo made it on land, Tamaria had grabbed the girl under her arms and quickly shot herself up into the air to let the wind cool Ada off as they flew off to find Masha throughout Motor City. "I smell so much metal..." Ada says with a drool as they went through the area. She closes her eyes and listens around her. She was trying to sniff out Masha, the mage she barely remembered from that one photoshoot ages ago. Tamaria was the one who had reminded her about the photoshoot and showed her a picture one of the photographers managed to get of the two of them to remind her of the girl as well. Ada remembered her scent after seeing her face, and was sniffing from the air. "Lower yourself Tammy." She says as the cat obliged. As soon as the loud noises were heard, the dragon slayer groans and covers her ears. She was still sensitive from a mishap with some alcohol that caused her to turn into a neko, but she was better already. "There!" She tells Tammy as she sees the redhead down below fighting... robots? Or humans? She couldn't tell as the girl took care of them all on her own. She shakes her head and motions for the exceed to drop her, in which she complies and Ada drops to the ground rather fast before she rolls and is on her feet in a crouch. She shakes her head a bit and laughs some before she stands up to her full length.

"Welp... I'm late to the party it seems... this is why we should make a meeting place before we get into danger. I've already been through this before." Ada snickers to Masha and grins to her. "How've you been? Needing someone to help kick asses with?" She snickers as she puts her hands on her hips and looks to the redhead. Tamaria had let herself rest on Ada's shoulders, and was holding onto the weapon Ada gave her for the mission, Ihai Agneya Talizar, Ada's fire sword. Both were seeming like they were ready to fight whatever, and Ada also seemed to forget about the annoying letter that bothered her earlier. She looks back to where the robot things were, and smirks. "You were pretty feisty a moment ago. I get the pleasure of working with that? Lets have some fun with it." She snickers and claps her hands now.

Tammy looked at Masha's clothes, and nods a little. "Those are pretty interesting clothes..." She couldn't help but mention, Ada hadn't noticed them till Tammy said something, and snorts as she shrugged her shoulders. They were rather interesting to her, but she also didn't care what the other female wore. If she felt good and could fight in it, why should she care? "So what's all we're doing? I didn't get to read the letter you sent, even though I told her to tell you she was sorry for the other letters, and I bet Ada forgot already too, besides that you wanted help to kick ass or whatever." The purple exceed rolls her bright eyes in annoyance, but she was betting that was the truth too.

Masha's Revenge Empty Re: Masha's Revenge

Post by Masha 3rd July 2018, 7:12 pm

Masha scowled at Adalinda. Why couldn't the mage have shown up just a minute earlier? These automatons gave her the creeps. "I've never worked with someone before. How was I supposed to know you set up a meeting place out of danger? And of course I need..." Masha's head jerked as she caught a sound from behind her. It was a sound from her nightmares. The persistent clicking of metal on metal as something clanked closer to them. Small mechanical creations suddenly swarmed down the sides of the buildings all around them. Other automatons lined the tops of the buildings. They all stopped, leaving an area of scant meters around Adalinda and Masha. Masha was shaking hard, trying not to scratch places there should have been scars. This wasn't even a fraction of the strength the woman could throw at them. The largest automaton here was merely the size of a medium-sized dog. Definitely not the scientist's strongest creations. Merely her most numerous.

"Don't engage them yet." Masha breathed looking past the buildings. Surely the woman would show up to gloat. That would provide them with a target at least. "If you have to engage, don't use too many spells. This is only a very small fraction of what she can throw at us. Use anything else you've got or we'll run outta juice before she..." There was a loud screee that cut through the end of Masha's sentence as the automatons on the top of the buildings opened their mouths. "Miss Dymonrel. I see you've brought a friend to our little reunion. That was kind of you. She can play with my darlings while we talk." The woman's voice echoed around them, projected from every open mouth. Masha did her best not to shudder but she couldn't repress the constant shivering her body was doing now. "Kill the spare!" The automatons rushed forward, probably trying to bury Adalinda in their numbers. They left a wide circle around Masha. "No!" Masha shouted, trying to think of a spell that could help the other mage. She was useless against these things. They were many and her magic was meant for one on one combat. Whenever she tried to move to help Adalinda, the automatons force the two of them apart by building a wall between them. Masha would have to trust Adalinda to come out on top of this.

"Tut tut, miss Dymonrel. You're supposed to be a hardened succubus. People only exist for you to use and throw away. It appears there is more work to be done on you." The woman laughed, the creepiness in the sound magnified by the number of mouths that uttered it. "I'll be sure to bring them the pieces." Masha couldn't repressing the shuddering now. She probably wouldn't die from this. The scientists had made sure she would survive nearly anything to regenerate. They had taken her apart several times to test it. This woman had always taken the most joy in that part. "I'll die before I go back there, Clank!" There was no telling where the scream had come from but it felt good. Not to mention Masha had referred to the scientist by a derogatory nickname the other scientists had called her. "You will pay for that, miss Dymonrel. I know all the strengths and weaknesses of your body and fighting style, remember? You won't escape us this time." Clank's voice had gone cold. Masha remembered that tone of voice as the 'good' scientist had operated on Masha. Her hands clenched over her stomach in remembered pain.

Hulking figures emerged from the alleyways. Masha knew what they were for. Escorting her to Clank for dissection. Masha had a bad feeling about this. Maybe it hadn't been such a good idea to bring Adalinda along. Especially not if it got the other mage killed. Woah. That was a turnaround. A month or so ago, Masha would have been looking to hang Adalinda out to dry while she made a run for it. Masha's hands curled into fists as she faced off against the hulking mechanicals.  "Adalinda! If you see an opening, run and get backup! I think I underestimated this bitch!" The hulks got closer and Masha exploded into action. Her fists pummeled the metal of the first hulk but didn't make much of an impact. The thing simply looked at her with blank lifeless eyes. A swing of its massive arm caught Masha by surprise. She flew past Adalinda and ended up embedded in the wall of a building. Hanging there stunned, Masha could only watch as five hulks waded through the smaller automatons toward her.

Masha's Revenge Empty Re: Masha's Revenge

Post by Lethe 6th July 2018, 11:29 am

The dragon slayer snickers to the other female as she mentioned never working with someone before, but simply nods and shrugs her shoulders, till she jerked her head away. She crossed her arms over her shoulders and stood with her legs shoulder width apart. She looks around the machines crawling around them, and she starts to grin rather devilishly. Was that something she picked up from her mentor? She didn't think so. Or she hoped she didn't. Tamaria transforms into that of a little neko girl with wings upon Ada's shoulders, and the two grin as Tammy prepared to use the sword her companion gave her. When Masha said to not go after the robots, Ada groans a little. She then laughs at the 'not using too many spells' bit. "Don't need to. I can just eat them all gone." She snickers to herself before this other woman's voice came. As soon as she said that Ada could play with her 'darlings', Ada's grin grew wider as she glares around. "Bring it, bitch." She simply mutters after they were told to kill her.

Adalinda let the things come at her while Tammy shoots herself to the sky, flapping her wings as she looks down on the battle. She seemed unaffected by the play of events. While Masha had been talking to the woman, Adalinda was busy chowing down on the iron. "Ugh, some of these taste like oil. Not too great." She groans to herself in between bites. As the woman screamed though, Ada paused, getting scratched up for a moment before her skin went grey and one may hear the screeching of metal scraping metal instead of her skin. She then went back to eating the machines that covered her. When Masha spoke to her again, a mechanical creation flew past Masha's head, smashing into the nearest wall. "I think you're underestimating Adalinda right now, Masha!" Tamaria cries out as she unsheathes the sword and quickly zooms down to hack the sword into one of the big machines. One nearly swatted at her, but with her wings, she was a bit faster and managed to avoid being smacked into the ground.

Adalinda had begun chomping heavily on the metal as she was laughing a bit crazily. It didn't take her too long to finish off the last of the metal for her to get out of there. "OH BOY! That tastes great!" She snickers while she wiped her mouth clean of the oil as she grins rather widely, baring her teeth. "Got any more for me to eat? Leave out the oil next time." She glances over to Masha, and raised an eyebrow to her. She pouts a little as Masha was already fighting, before she was thrown in a wall, along with Tamaria fighting like a little fairy around the beast of a machine. "Hurry up Ada! You need to do your thing!" She cries out, oblivious to the grey skin that she was used to her companion donning from time to time. It was nearly her signature look anymore. Ada had grabbed a horn that was on her side, and pulled the cork out off one end to take a chug of some strong alcohol, and let some dribble down her cheek when she corked it and put it back before she dashes faster after the hulking machine. She had steeled her hand in the iron hands and throws her fist deep into the machines stomach, causing a huge dent in it's stomach and sending it back into two others.

Tamaria had quickly gone to Masha and was working on pulling her out of the wall. "You okay?! Jeez! That looked like it was a doozy!" Tammy's voice didn't seem too much different, or at all really in this form. "Ada's probably gonna make a mess of these things..." She mutters when she glances over to where Ada had literally grabbed the arm of another machine, and let her grip literally pinch it flat before she yanked it off. She then looks back to Masha. "Mind filling me in? I can direct Ada to where she needs to before she unleashes herself a bit more." She chuckles nervously. "Like You can control me, cat!" Ada cackles as she had hopped on the back of another one, and leaned down to chomp off the head, literally taking a bite out of it's head and spitting any wires out. Tamaria takes a deep breath as she was actually a little worried for her now

Masha's Revenge Empty Re: Masha's Revenge

Post by Masha 7th July 2018, 8:16 pm

Tamaria's cry was what had Masha turning at the wrong moment. The next things she knew she was airborn before slamming into the wall. Something broke. Or cracked. She couldn't tell through the pain radiating through her entire body. It had been a long time since she had even come close to being this injured. "Seems you lost your touch, Miss Dymonrel. We'll need to discipline you when we return to the facility. We have a rabid new creation that we can give you to. That'll teach you to lose your edge!" Masha shuddered as she attempted to extract herself from the wall. Clank's crazy was peaking out a little bit. The woman had always liked to see Masha hurt in some way. The bitch thought it was Masha's fault that Clank's husband preferred the succubus over her. Masha groaned when Tamaria flew over to ask if she was alright. Blood flowed freely as she freed herself from the wall. The back of her outfit was red as well as torn. "Tammy, was it?" Masha groaned as she lowered herself to the ground. "Shouting on the battlefield is distracting." Masha was starting to see that Adalinda was the best choice she could have made to help with this. The other mage was easily tearing through the metal soldiers.

Clank was having her little metal voice boxes retreat. They were retreating from the rooftops while the hulking monstrosities attempted to pummel Adalinda. That wasn't a good sign. It meant Clank was sending in the big guns. Or something extremely powerful. They needed to clean up the five hulks quickly. Masha looked around for Lover's Kiss. Spying her sword took a little more time than Masha had. A hulk rose up in front of her, its fists ready to slam her into the dirt. That instant revealed a flaw in the machine's design. "LEVYNA!! I surrender!" Masha screamed. The hulk froze trying to process. Lover's Kiss threaded between the plates to pierce the main processing core. Yanking the sword back out nearly pulled the robot's head off. "Adalinda! Their main processing unit is in their head! Crush their heads!" She ducked a wild punch from the hulk in front of her. Even with that processor gone, it was still dangerous. The only thing they needed to fear now however was a punch connecting. The machine could no longer think on its feet. A small burst of speed and power had Masha landing on the back of another hulk. She slammed Lover's Kiss into its head. When the sword was all the way in the machine, Masha heard a quick stutter start sound of the thing shutting down. It brought a smile to her face. The remaining three thinking hulks were left to Adalinda.

Levyna was indeed planning something else. Masha spotted something heading toward them through town. It was another robot but on a scale that Masha had never seen. Clank really had gone insane. Bringing that long legged monstrosity into town was trouble. The magic council would send in the Wizard Saints or the Rune Knights for sure. Luckily the thing had an obvious weak point in the knees, hips and ungainly torso. Unfortunately the thing had winged protectors. Ten sphinx-like automatons flew around the titanic robot. Masha recognized those. They were impossible to destroy. Levyna used her magic to make the things self-regenerating. While you could put them out of commission for a while, a single scrap would regenerate into another sphinx robot. Adalinda might not want to eat them either. The metal was infused with demonic energy or something. Masha glanced in the direction of her ally. "I hope you're ready for the big one, Adalinda! The big boss just showed herself." Levyna never went out without at least three of her sphinx creations. It was a safe bet that she was somewhere in the titanic robot. "Don't try to destroy the things flying around it. They're infused with magic that'll cause them to regenerate from even a sliver of themselves. Better to crunch something major and put them outta commission for a while." Masha informed her ally as she backed away. The ground was rumbling with every step the robot took now. She could make out faint screams as the people of the city realized something terrible was coming.

"Do you think we should evacuate some of the people?" Masha asked absentmindedly. She was supposed to be a legal mage now. Legals helped people didn't they? But how could they help the entirety of a city? Masha feared that trying to help might draw Clank's attention. Then the people would be targets of that mad scientist. "Actually scratch that. We need to draw her attention so she'll focus on us. Helping people might make them become a target." A panic was welling within Masha. Could she do this? Wasn't she better off as a dark mage? The panic didn't show on her face. The scientists had trained her too well for that. "I'm not sure I can do this" She murmured, looking away from the robot. Defeating Clank required her to face her past. Her status as a legal mage forced her to face it in a way she had never tried to before. Head on and without a kill everything in sight mindset. Masha wasn't sure she was ready for this. She wished she had someone to hold onto as her shoulders straightened. She wished she had someone to cheer her on as she readied to face one of her worst tormentors. Masha wished a lot of things. She hoped that she would have wishes for the future soon. Wishes that might come true.

Masha's Revenge Empty Re: Masha's Revenge

Post by Lethe 8th July 2018, 3:15 pm

Tammy rubbed the back of her head a bit and nervously chuckled. "Sorry for distracting you, I usually yell at Ada. Sometimes I forget that others aren't like her and appreciate it." She tells the other before she noticed the little metal boxes were disappearing. Ada semi noticed too, but was more focused on the ones that could hurt her instead. As soon as Masha informed her that the heads needed to be crushed, a grin was on her face. "Not a problem." She cackles quietly. before she let her fists crush the heads in on the machinery she was fighting. She even ripped their heads off completely before adding another punch to the hole she created to make sure they stayed down.

As the other robot started to come upon them, Ada frowns and looks up unsurely. "What the hell is that...?" She mutters as she wiped her mouth from a bit of iron she had on the corner of it. She goes next to Masha, not taking her eyes off of it for a moment, before she put her hands on her hips. "How much you wanna bet we gotta get to that damned head again?" She questions curiously. As she was told to not destroy the flying things, she groans and sticks her tongue out. "I'll just eat it. I don't give a damn." "You shouldn't eat everything that you see that's iron though, Adalinda... You could eat something that really isn't iron..." Tamaria mutters grumpily to Ada. They both turn their heads to her as she questioned if they should evacuate the people, and Adalinda grins. When she corrected herself about distracting the machine, she nods and points to her. "There you go. Both those are thinking like a legal mage." She couldn't help but tell her. "You want the honors? Or shall I?" Tammy had herself standing between the two with a small grin. Her looking like a child made Ada a bit eager for her own again, but she knew she needed to focus.

"What Ada wants to know is... do you want me to carry you to get in front of the robots face? Or me to carry her?" Tammy questioned, expanding for Ada. Ada had frowned when she noticed how Masha was starting to act. She frowns and goes in front of her and grips Masha's shoulders and letting her striking blue eyes glare at her intensely. "You can do this..." She hisses at her. "You got away from her in the first place, right? You went away from Savage Skull to go into Sabertooth, what's some bitch in an iron tin can going to do? Be defeated and taken to jail. That's what. And you know what?! You'll have a West Fiore Trading Company mage helping you alongside ya! So what do you say? Gonna fight this bitch together?" She lets go of her shoulders and holds her fist out to the girl to get knuckles from her. A grin was across her lips as she was indeed ready to fight this robot with Masha. Tammy was a bit surprised about Ada's demeanor now. Like she was maturing.

Masha's Revenge Empty Re: Masha's Revenge

Post by Masha 9th July 2018, 4:07 pm

Masha glanced over at Adalinda. "The head looks unstable. Might be in the torso this time." She shrugged helplessly. There was no telling where the mad scientist had placed her little hidey hole command center in that monstrosity. They would have to guess. Hearing Tammy reprimand Ada made Masha chuckle. It was amusing to see the pet scold the owner for once. "Can you eat any iron? Or only certain iron?" She waved at the flying machines. "Those are saturated with dark magic or demon magic. If you can eat that, great! Otherwise, I'd rather not have my ally outta commission." Masha chucked Ada on the arm. "Especially since she's so fun to have around." The succubus was glad when Adalinda complimented her. She could think like a legal mage apparently. That was relieving. Adalinda's question did strike Masha as a little strange. Tammy's explanation cleared things right up. "Those flying things aren't up there for no reason. Either one of us getting close with Tammy would bring them all down on our heads. We need to get them to attack us on the ground. Breaking their wings and a hole through the chest should manage to put them down for a time. Then we can both go after the scientist."

Adalinda's speech filled Masha's eyes with tears. Someone believed in her. While she put up a strong front, Masha always felt inadequate. Like something was missing from her that cause people to run away from her. No one ever wanted to stay. It had hardened the hopeful kid she had been... or at least the one she imagined she would have been had she not been mutilated in the facility. Without preamble, Masha pressed her lips against Adalinda's. There was nothing passionate about the kiss as it was merely her way of saying thank you. "Thank you." Masha said softly to clear things up. People generally got all worked up over a kiss. She didn't want Adalinda to misunderstand. "Lets beat this bitch. Then drinks are on me. Provided your appetite isn't ruined by whatever is in that flask." Masha grinned before she charged forward toward the advancing robot. "On second thought, drinks are on the last one there!" She called over her shoulder.

Masha's hands began to glow purple, purple runes forming over her hands. Regardless of whether Adalinda won or she did, Masha had an idea to stop the bot. She slammed her hands into the massive foot. Over and over her hands slammed into the metal. Levyne's voice boomed from the robot. "Fool! Your fists can do nothing to my robot! Your friend will be full long before she even makes it halfway! I've won! You will be returned! In one condition or another." Masha chuckled as the voice cut off. The scientist had no idea that with every strike, the gravity on the foot was increasing. The machine wouldn't be able to lift its foot at best and at worst, the leg would tear away, causing the thing to fall. She hoped that wouldn't happen.  "Ada! Any minute now those things are going to descend!" As if triggered by her voice, the flying robots screeched. They swooped down, splitting two and eight to attack the mages. Two went for Masha while the others attacked Ada. Masha did her best to fend them off, striking again and again with her fists. Soon the robots were pinned to the ground due to her spell. She let out a sigh of relief, looking over to see how Adalinda fared.

Masha's Revenge Empty Re: Masha's Revenge

Post by Lethe 10th July 2018, 5:06 pm

As the dragon slayer was questioned on the type of iron she could eat, she just shrugged her shoulders a bit. She honestly didn't think there was a rule on what she couldn't eat. Either that, or she forgot what Metalicana told her. Hearing the type of iron that the flying things were saturated with made Ada shrug her shoulders. "Only one way to find out if I can eat it or not." She had chuckled to the redhead. She was trying to not smile at the last bit about her being fun to have around. As she was told about the flying machines attacking on contact, a grin was on her face. "How fast do they go in the air...?" She questions with a grin. Tammy gasped as she knew exactly what Ada was asking that for. She wanted her to fly fast to direct them down to the ground for them. But she also knew Ada also had a couple spells up her sleeve that could help stab the wings of the machinery.

The kiss Masha gave Ada pause as she didn't expect it. She blinks a moment before she points at her. "You're welcome, sugar, but I'm already taken though, with babies on the way. Aaaannnd... my drink in my flask could knock you on your ass! There's no way it could ruin my appetite!" She cackles as she nods, going after the girl. "You're on! Eat my iron dust!" She starts to speed up a bit, tapping into her speed a bit more. It was clear she was trying to gain up on the other female. When the lady spoke through the machine, Adalinda cackles rather loudly. "Sorry, honey! Iron doesn't fill me up like that, especially when I do this!" She cackles a little as her grey scales that covered her skin started to shimmer a bit, and a blackish-grey aura started to flare up. Her speed started to double as she yanks a corkscrew sword out of the palm of one of her hands and went after the other leg a bit, scaling the body some. "Hooooney! I'm hoooome!" She snorts before she saw the flying robots starting to come after her. She grins rather devilishly as she launches herself off of the leg as they came at her. She used her sword to strike through the wings of one, yanking the sword out and whipping the robot to the ground before she grabbed the leg of another and tightened her grip on it, using her increased strength to hoist herself up.

Before Ada could do too much though, four of the other flying things were coming at her, and Ada quickly chucked her sword in the middle of three of them. As it was in midair, the sword split into three, going through the hearts of them as the fourth came at her. A grin was on her face as the fourth one that was trying to come at her was slightly struggling catching up as the one she held was trying to shake her off. Ada seemed to wait till the robot went straight up in the air and allowed herself to drop down on top of the one following, forcing both of them to the ground heavily. Ada grins as there was now a hole in the ground from where she and the machine crashed in. She looks up, three more. Ada's swords came zooming through the air, and each penetrate through the chests of the three of them before the sword locked itself back together and slammed itself into the ground between her legs, on the machine she crashed to the ground with. She glances over to Masha, trying to suppress a chuckle. "I think we're in the clear..." Her greyed eyes flicker towards the giant robot before she grabs her sword out from the ground and starts hauling ass towards it, intending to scale it while she was in her dragon force. "Hey bitch! Show your punk-ass self!" She shouts up to the robot. Tamaria had temporarily stayed out of the way as those flying things could have hurt her, regardless if she was in her human form or exceed form, but now that they were out of the way, Tamaria took Talizar and quickly begun flying around to see if she could find any sort of opening, or if she could find somewhere where she could make an opening.

Masha's Revenge Empty Re: Masha's Revenge

Post by Masha 10th July 2018, 9:39 pm

Masha shrugged at Adalinda's question looking up at the machines. "That depends on if she improved the design or was lazy today." She shrugged a dainty shoulder. Levyne had made way too many of these machines for Masha to keep up on the specs. Not to mention most were a blight to the world of the sighted. Blind people really were lucky sometimes. They never had to lay eyes upon some of the true horrors of the world. "They generally went pretty fast last time I faced them. If she improved the design, they go anywhere from 3-10 meters per second. Course going at top speeds does drain their reserves so... maybe we wanna make them do that?" The one weakness of all of Levyne's machines was they had a limited amount of run time. Levyne's favorites got some three to four tanks but they still ran out of magical energy eventually and froze in place. That gave her an idea. Where were the tanks on this monstrosity coming toward them? There! The glaringly obvious ball joints and the giant tank sitting low on the torso were the tanks. They had to be. The machine clearly needed a lot of power to keep it running. Damn. That meant Levyne was in the head of the machine. It was going to be a bitch to climb that high.

A small chuckle escaped Masha's lips with Ada's reply. In response, she patted the other mage's cheek. "Sorry, honey bun, you're just not my type. I don't go for taken women or women with children. Pity really. The two of us could have had such fun in the bedroom." She teasingly raked Adalinda over with her eyes. There was a tiny smile on her face, just a slight upward curl of her mouth. "Ah well. I can settle for other kinds of fun." Hearing that Adalinda's alcohol could put her on her ass made a wistful look cloud Masha's eyes. If only that were true. The scientists forced her body to exude alcohol when she consumed it, making it look like she was sweating whenever she drank. Usually, her drinks didn't hit her fast enough before they were forced from her pours. "Give me a taste when we've finished. We'll see who's the better drinker." An unfair contest for both of them to be sure. Still it seemed like it would be a fun time.

Leaning back against the robot's leg, Masha watched Adalinda work. It was beautiful. Truthfully, Masha wanted to make more robots just to watch the woman fight. It was raw to be sure but there was something glamorous about it. She was forced to look aside when a flaming bird landed nearby. "Fin! Oh my gods, it is good to see you!" Masha was about to run to him when the bird breathed outward. White flames, slightly darker than those that ringed his body, consumed the robots Masha had downed. It took only moments to turn them to ash. "Masha please. It's Aodhfin." The phoenix sighed, wrapping an arm around Masha when she hugged him. This bird had been one of the first contracts Masha had made. Truthfully, she had almost forgotten the contract. Aodhfin owed her a life debt for helping him out when he was but a young hatchling. It was handy being able to call him in when she needed him. "Come now, Fin, you know I can't pronounce that name." Aodhfin was probably one of the only friends she had nowadays. A real friend. Masha had only asked for his help in her communique, not mentioning the contract whatsoever. Emotion made Masha's throat close painfully. "Thank you, Aodhfin." The phoenix winced at her pronunciation. "I always forget how badly you butcher my name. What did you need from me, Mash?" She grinned at his nickname for her.

Her hand came up to point at the giant robot. Any minute now, Levyne would realize the spell holding her titan in place had vanished. "I need to get up there." The phoenix peered over her shoulder. Concern turned his white flames a shade of purple. "Are you sure you don't want me to aid your friend? She looks rather beleaguered." The redhead didn't even bother to look. She knew Adalinda had this handled. "She's got it, Fin. Don't worry. Just get me up there then make yourself scarce. I don't want you to get in trouble with your flock again." Masha gently brushed her fingers over the scars from the last time she had gotten him into trouble. It was the reason she hadn't called him in so long. His flock had harsh rules and harsher punishments for failing to follow those rules. "I can handl-" "No!" Masha cut him off and pet his beak the way he liked. A low hum came from the phoenix. Before he could protest again, Masha hopped onto his back. "Just fly me up there then head back. Ada and I've got this." She patted his feathers. Aodhfin looked disdainfully over his shoulder. "You know I hate it when you do that." He said before taking off. Masha screamed with delight. She loved flying. It made all her cares drop away and gave her a powerful feeling of freedom.

Aodhfin landed on the head of the robot. Masha slid off. There was enough trust in her that she expected the phoenix to fly off without her. She almost looked over her shoulder to check that he was leaving. "Goodbye, Fin. I'll see you again soon." As Masha tore the obvious hatch in the head open, she heard his reply. "Please do. May your flame burn ever brighter on your journey." It was a sacred farewell of his people. Tears touched her eyes as she peered into the cockpit. Levyne's pale face looked up at her. The scientist didn't look good. She looked thin, almost unhealthily so. Her skin looked like it hadn't been touched by the sun in years. Her black hair hung lank about her sunken cheeks. An undeniable rage filled Masha. She didn't need magic to fight this bitch. Her hands closed on Levyne's dirty coat. There was barely any effort in lifting the woman free. Levyne screamed throwing something at Masha. The succubus barely registered the metal fragments. Blue veins stood out all over her body. It was something that happened only when Masha was experiencing extreme emotions. "Masha! Wait! Pl-" Masha slammed Levyne into the ground. It felt good. She could hear the audible crack of something fracturing or breaking. An old familiar feeling came over her. Levyne was screaming but Masha was deaf to it. She was brutal, efficient. It was almost as if she was blacking out.

When she came to again, Levyne was gripping Masha's wrists with obviously broken fingers. The scientist had a swollen face. Looked like one of her eyes was swollen shut and her lip busted in two places. Her nose was broken. The bottom half of Levyne's clothes was saturated in blood. For that matter so were Masha's. It appeared as if whatever Levyne had thrown at her was drilling into Masha's chest. Then Masha realized where they were. The edge of the robot's head. Levyne dangled out over her certain death, only Masha keeping her alive. How the tables had turned. It would be easy to let the bitch drop. She wanted to do it. She needed to do it. Masha got up in the scientist's face. "Looks like I hold your life in my hands this time, bitch. All I have to do is..." Her fingers loosened just a little. Levyne screamed as she dropped a few inches. "P-p-please!" Levyne blubbered. This would be so easy. A long drop and a splat. That was all it took. It was what Levyne deserved. So why hadn't Masha let go?

Masha's Revenge Empty Re: Masha's Revenge

Post by Lethe 11th July 2018, 10:48 am

She snickers as she listened to Masha again. So there was a fifty-fifty chance that the robot things could be slow, or they could be fast as all get out. As she was teased by the redhead, Ada snickers and sticks her tongue out. "I know I coulda been." She couldn't help but snort. Adalinda was so caught up in her own fight against the flying machines, that she hadn't noticed the flaming bird landing near her companion. She didn't even listen in to the conversation that the girl was having with it either. As she had started to climb the giant robot, that was when Adalinda noticed the flaming bird, when it was above her going towards the head with Masha on it's back. A grin starts to form on her face as she whistled, and Tamaria quickly came around and grabbed hold of her slayer before flying fast up towards the top, where the saw Masha's bird flying away. "Hurry damnit!" She cries out and Tammy shot up faster. She passed by the head, and Tamaria dropped Adalinda to let her fall on the shoulder, before she runs over to see Masha beating the crap out of Levyne.

"Masha!" Adalinda's voice boomed a little deep, reverberating slightly as the smidge of devil in her from her mentor was seeping out. "Put her down on the robot. SAFELY." She hisses at her. "Are you a Legal mage? or a Dark mage who kills? Let the Rune Knights lock her ass up! She threatened people at a high degree here..." She growls as she grabs Masha's shoulder that was closest to her. "You drop her, I'm going to turn you in with her to the Rune Knights." She threatens lowly. The grey aura around her wasn't flickering, it was as a just in case right now. Tamaria was fluttering out over the edge quietly, ready to haul ass after Levyne if she were dropped off of the robot. "Put. Her. On. The. Robot. I consider you my friend, but I'll tell you, hands down, I won't let my friends do things that will hurt them like this. Do the right thing, and just get her down GENTLY so she could be turned in properly and held in the prison." Ada's grip tightened on Masha's shoulder the longer the girl waited to put her on the robot gently, but she would let go the moment she showed signs of putting her down without killing her. Adalinda's eyes were on her like a hawk. "Do the right thing, please? Masha?" The neko exceed begged her quietly. Clearly she and Adalinda didn't want to see Masha do the wrong thing and drop the woman who attacked them, even if they were threatening Masha's life.

Masha's Revenge Empty Re: Masha's Revenge

Post by Masha 12th July 2018, 2:26 pm

Tears rolled down Masha's face as she looked over her shoulder at Ada. She wasn't a dark mage. Not anymore and she didn't want anyone to dictate that fate for her any longer. But this woman. This woman deserved to die. How many other children had she hurt? How many experiments had she run that resulted in the death of a child? Masha's fingers tightened on the coat of the scientist. Would jail time be so bad for ridding the world of someone like this? Masha turned back to Levyne, her eyes hardening. Yes. It would be worth the jail time. When Adalinda called Masha her friend, Masha's head whipped around. "I highly doubt you see me as a friend. You couldn't stand me the last time we were together. Sure I was an arrogant bitch, but I tend to be like that naturally." She flipped her hair over her shoulder to pin Adalinda with a stare. "And why shouldn't I be? I'm sooo much better than everyone else." Not something she actually believed but rather something she said to drive people off. Levyne laughed softly, blood splattering on Masha. "Just like we made you to be. Its no wonder my husband came to your bed again and again. Drop me, bitch. Show the world what a demon you really are!" The appearance of other legal mages had clearly given the scientist courage. There was little chance she would die now so Levyne was throwing things in Masha's face. Masha shuddered with anger.

Levyne's husband had constantly forced himself upon Masha. She had never had a say on the man coming to her bed or not. Yet instead of blaming the man that had some massive faults, Levyne was more comfortable blaming the helpless girl who had been chained to her bed. Tammy's plea broke through the urge to drop the scientist. Masha wasn't that same girl. She wasn't under the thumb of the scientists anymore. She didn't have to let their actions dictate what she did. This was her choice. The choice to be either dark or legal. She suspected she might always struggle with that choice. For now however. Masha hauled Levyne back over the edge of the robot's head and dropped her on her feet. The redhead had forgotten she had busted the woman's leg. Levyne fell with a cry. That was alright. The succubus pulled out a pair of handcuffs. "You are under arrest." She said securing Levyne's hands. "You have the right to remain silent. You have the right to an a...Right to an... Right..." Masha fell heavily to her knees and then onto her side. The blood loss from Levyne's devices was finally getting to her. Yet even as the blackness rushed to take her, Masha grinned. She had chosen good. She had chosen. No matter what the world called her or what it tried to say about her fate, Masha had the right to chose the light or the dark. And she would hold tightly to that knowledge until the day she died.
