PERSONALITY AND TRAITS

Personality:

Sybil, along with someone generous, easily embarrassed, and a little too clumsy for their own good appears to be somewhat more introverted than most people. Introverts lack the exuberance, energy, and activity levels of extroverts. Thus she tends to be quiet, low-key, deliberate, and less involved in the social world. Sybils lack of social involvement should not be interpreted as shyness or depression. Introverts simply need less stimulation than extraverts and more time alone. This, however, does not mean Sybil does not need friends, right now relationships are one of the things she desires most.

Sybil, whether it be having lost her parents not long ago, or having to grow up and hide who she is a little less emotionally stable than the average and may therefore sometimes experience negative emotions, such as anger, anxiety, or depression more often than others. She is a bit more emotionally reactive and vulnerable to stress than others and is a little more likely to interpret ordinary situations as threatening, and minor frustrations as being more difficult than they really are. Negative emotional reactions tend to persist longer than necessary. These occasional problems in emotional regulation may diminish a person's ability to think clearly, make decisions, and cope effectively with stress. In these types of Situations, Sybil could really benefit from a friend or second opinions to push her through it and set her in the right direction.

-Aquaphobia Having never had the chance to take up swimming growing up she never learned and will not risk going around deep water if she can help it.
-Magic Used for bad things: Irresponsible use of magic caused the country she was raised in to see her as an abomination. When in actuality people capable of the real destruction are the abominations

Biography:

With a wizard father who possessed powers linked to the sun and her mage mother’s magic origin the moon, Sybil was born a star child. However, the circumstances she were born in unfortunately were not fit for any of her family's gifts.

When her parents were seized from their home she very quickly realized she couldn't contain herself when she lunged at one of the knights to try and get them to unhand her parents.  She killed a guard from the king's squadron, but that hadn’t been her intent. --Absolutely shocked she fled the scene before she could also be caught. Her parents still went quietly and a young Sybil had to escape to the border of a country that would not accept her. Her parents were executed for witchcraft and charged for killing the knight she had. It was an event she was glad she would not be present for during her hiding…. However, it haunts her. Could she of done more, done something different?

She starved for a weeks after that, save for what food and drink she could get out of waste bins in the alleys until she made her way to the neighboring kingdom of Iceberg. It was there she  saw the destruction second hand that could come from magic relics. She realized why Penagrade may have been so afraid of wizards like her. The neighboring kingdom suffered from cold and famine caused by an eternal winter via a possessed king. she came accustomed to the warmth of an oversized sweater there and got by making money by shoveling the snow. And one day while unpacking snow she came across another of the cursed relics, but like the magic crown that had possessed the king, Sybil left Iceberg with something else she had dug up.  A locked box with a snake insignia. Little did they know when she took it with her that they’d only further prove the point later that magic was dangerous

After finding the locked box, Sybil reminded herself that there was more out there. She didn’t stay more than a month before she managed to sneak into the boxcars of trains near the next border the sky became blue again and the snow lightened. Seven was a contrast to the Dystopian lands she’d endured the past year. In the Sevenwoods she saw her first see a rainbow-tinted dragon darts

The nature nation was was truly a place of wonder. Every single magical creature, animal or otherwise, was treated sentient instead of hunted like she and other magical beings had in her homeland. From a worm to a centaurian, every living being had the ability to talk.

She very quickly became ingrained in the society there, but Sybil, having of been confined and having to hide magic her whole life because it was ‘bad’ wants to see more of the world, eliminate those who have given magic a good name and prove magic is a beautiful thing that everyone should be allowed to see. Fiore and Crystal Swan would be the place for Sybil to begin this quest

PERSONALITY AND TRAITS

Personality:

Sybil, along with someone generous, easily embarrassed, and a little too clumsy for their own good appears to be somewhat more introverted than most people. Introverts lack the exuberance, energy, and activity levels of extroverts. Thus she tends to be quiet, low-key, deliberate, and less involved in the social world. Sybils lack of social involvement should not be interpreted as shyness or depression. Introverts simply need less stimulation than extraverts and more time alone. This, however, does not mean Sybil does not need friends, right now relationships are one of the things she desires most.

Sybil, whether it be having lost her parents not long ago, or having to grow up and hide who she is a little less emotionally stable than the average and may therefore sometimes experience negative emotions, such as anger, anxiety, or depression more often than others. She is a bit more emotionally reactive and vulnerable to stress than others and is a little more likely to interpret ordinary situations as threatening, and minor frustrations as being more difficult than they really are. Negative emotional reactions tend to persist longer than necessary. These occasional problems in emotional regulation may diminish a person's ability to think clearly, make decisions, and cope effectively with stress. In these types of Situations, Sybil could really benefit from a friend or second opinions to push her through it and set her in the right direction.

Sybil has a moderate openness to experiences. This suggests a general appreciation for art, emotion, adventure, unusual ideas, imagination, curiosity, and variety of experience. People like Sybil who are more open to experience tend to be more intellectually curious, appreciative of art, and sensitive to beauty. She is a person who exhibits more creative problem solving, is more aware of her feelings, and is more likely to hold unconventional beliefs.

Likes:
-Celestial Spirits/Spirit Wizards: Sybil is an astronomy nerd. She can name all of the constellations and is simply awed whenever shes in the presence of one of the celestial spirits.
-Magic Creatures: Sybil didn't get to explore the world of magic freely in Pregrande and is captivated by magical creatures. She thinks they are just so awesome, and will always ask to feed your pets.
Travel: Anywhere is better than where she is from, and Sybil enjoys making maps of all of the places she visits.
Dislikes:
-Pregrande Kingdom: She has every reason to dislike where she was raised, and detest a government that killed her parents for being born who they were: born mages.
-Smudged Glasses: ack I can't see like this
-Snow:It's cold heavy and damp in most cases and reminds her of the time she had to flee her time and take refugee in the continent of Iceberg.

Motivations:
-Preservation/Discovering Magic Culture: Growing up Sybil didn't get much of a chance to train, learn or even exercise opinions of magic
-Friend/Companionship:Neither did she have many close friends, having to keep her magic secret, In Fiore and crystal swan there are lots of people like her.
-Whats in the box?:When traveling through Iceberg Sybil found a locked box, she want's to solve it herself.

Fears:
-Hurting someone with her magic: She's powerful she knows this-- And she's hurt someone, killed them. It was a mistake and something to easy to do when she's comfortable with.
-Aquaphobia Having never had the chance to take up swimming growing up she never learned and will not risk going around deep water if she can help it.
-Magic Used for bad things: Irresponsible use of magic caused the country she was raised in to see her as an abomination. When in actuality people capable of the real destruction are the abominations

HISTORY AND APPERANCE

Biography:

With a wizard father who possessed powers linked to the sun and her mage mother’s magic origin the moon, Sybil was born a star child. However, the circumstances she were born in unfortunately were not fit for any of her family's gifts.

When her parents were seized from their home she very quickly realized she couldn't contain herself when she lunged at one of the knights to try and get them to unhand her parents.  She killed a guard from the king's squadron, but that hadn’t been her intent. --Absolutely shocked she fled the scene before she could also be caught. Her parents still went quietly and a young Sybil had to escape to the border of a country that would not accept her. Her parents were executed for witchcraft and charged for killing the knight she had. It was an event she was glad she would not be present for during her hiding…. However, it haunts her. Could she of done more, done something different?

She starved for a weeks after that, save for what food and drink she could get out of waste bins in the alleys until she made her way to the neighboring kingdom of Iceberg. It was there she  saw the destruction second hand that could come from magic relics. She realized why Penagrade may have been so afraid of wizards like her. The neighboring kingdom suffered from cold and famine caused by an eternal winter via a possessed king. she came accustomed to the warmth of an oversized sweater there and got by making money by shoveling the snow. And one day while unpacking snow she came across another of the cursed relics, but like the magic crown that had possessed the king, Sybil left Iceberg with something else she had dug up.  A locked box with a snake insignia. Little did they know when she took it with her that they’d only further prove the point later that magic was dangerous

After finding the locked box, Sybil reminded herself that there was more out there. She didn’t stay more than a month before she managed to sneak into the boxcars of trains near the next border the sky became blue again and the snow lightened. Seven was a contrast to the Dystopian lands she’d endured the past year. In the Sevenwoods she saw her first see a rainbow-tinted dragon darts

The nature nation was was truly a place of wonder. Every single magical creature, animal or otherwise, was treated sentient instead of hunted like she and other magical beings had in her homeland. From a worm to a centaurian, every living being had the ability to talk.

She very quickly became ingrained in the society there, but Sybil, having of been confined and having to hide magic her whole life because it was ‘bad’ wants to see more of the world, eliminate those who have given magic a bad name and prove magic is a beautiful thing that everyone should be allowed to see. Fiore and will be the place for Sybil to begin this quest.

Appearance: Mirai has fluffy, wavy, light pink hair, styled in a chin-length bob, with fringes reaching her eyebrows. Her eyes are a golden, amber shade of brown.
Sybil is typically seen wearing a light blue jumper or skirt with a light pink cardigan on top, and black tights, or similar hosiery.
During summer, she exchanges her cardigan for a sleeveless sweater, identical to her cardigan in every other aspect,
Sybil's most distinguishable accessory is a pair of thick-rimmed, rounded, red spectacles which she adorns at all times.
