    Job specifications:

As much as the boy wanted to stay inside the lonesome inn he was staying at and continue his studies, the day outside was too pretty, even for him, to just simply ignore. He needed to get moving again anyway. There were always more books to be had along the unending road. He put on his usual, favourite attire - blue jeans with black T-shirt and his blue jacket. Eero packed the humble amount of his possessions - a few pairs of socks, extra jeans and some T-shirts into his leather travel bag. He managed to stuff in the three books he had with him, which left to space left for the artifact - a strange upside-down golden pyramid with an eye on one side. Everytime Eero tried to think about it, he just had a strange feeling, that made him want to toss it away. However, at the same time, he felt like something was preventing him from doing so. As a result he attached it to a chain, which he could then attach to his black leather choker on his neck. With a little sigh he attached it to the choker, slung the stuffed bag over his shoulder and left.

He decided to head in the direction of the ocean and after a couple of hours Eero could definitely smell it. The increased traffic around him also suggested that a city is nearby. The boy got startled for a moment along the way, when he was offered a ride on a supply caravan, but didn't turn down the offer and in turn saved both his time and feet. After arriving in the city of Hargeon and thanking the good soul, Eero went to have a look around. It had been a while since he was in a bustling and crowded city like this.

The heat and fishy smell slightly picked up on intensity, making Eero wince a bit and take off his jacket, slinging it over his leather messenger bag on his shoulder. Eero was looking for a cheap place to eat and place to hide from the sun for a moment, when he noticed a particularly larger crowd of people, who seemed to be interested in whatever they have encircled. He wasn't going to pay them any mind, until he saw a glimpse of a sign that read something about passports. /"If I could get my hands on one, I could travel even further..."/ Eero's thinking cogs were already turning in his head. Ability to travel abroad would only help him further his researches and studies. Reluctantly, Eero made his way to the crowd, standing on his tip-toes, trying to catch a peek of whoever was responsible for this.

Job - To Earthland and beyond! [Pokomon & Eero] Empty Re: Job - To Earthland and beyond! [Pokomon & Eero]

Post by Pokomon 11th April 2018, 6:35 am

Poko was completely exhausted to say the least, the blonde girl sat down for a bit, taking a breather. Today she had decided not to wear one of her fancy spider-spun dresses, instead she had gone back to her simple pink denim shorts, a blue army patterned shirt and her bright aqua hooded jacket. With this attire she felt she was less likely to stick out among the crowd and draw attention to herself. Recently word had spread about Fiore opening up their borders, allowing mages to freely travel to complete missions in other countries. While the blonde girl could potentially do so without a passport, she though it would still be best to get one regardless, so she would not give her new guild, Silver Wolf a bad name. Poko was still a newbie after all and the last thing she wanted to do was disappoint her guild mates, especially her guild master, by being caught out traveling illegally. However, there were very few places where one could apply and get their passport, and unfortunately for the poor girl this meant she would have to venture into the large coastal town of Hargeon once more. The idea of having to deal with that many people had initially made her give up on the idea then and there, but she was determined to make Leila proud and deal with the crowded streets. Besides it's not like she was completely alone, she had brought Zephyr with her, her trusty travel companion. The small white and purple rabbit-like creature with a small horn on his head, rested atop her head, nestled in between her blonde half-pigtails, his long, purple ears drooping over the girl's own ears.

Poko pushed her way through the busy streets, trying to find the place she was looking for. Once again she found her small statue nothing short of a nuisance, the five foot female was having more than enough difficulty navigating her way to the location necessary for acquiring the passport.  Eventually, Poko managed to spot the sign that let her know she was heading in the right direction. "Looks like we finally found it, Zeph" The girl sighed happily, she preferred not to spend more time than necessary in the hustle and bustle of this place. Her familiar, picked himself up, stretching upon her head before leaping off and into the air, floating in place, his purple eyes staring at the large crowd before them. Poko's own blue eyes followed Zephyr's causing her to groan, 'please...please no...' was all she could think at this point. She took a deep sigh and made her way towards them, the girl was just going to have to suck it up, she needed to get through this.

As she approached the crowd she couldn't help but notice a short boy, who could only be a few inches taller than herself, trying to stand on his tip-toes to get a better view. Poko tilted her head curiously, his hair style choice was pretty interesting after all. Zephyr noticed her attention wavering away from their main goal, his purple orbs focusing on the boy as well. Deciding to interfere the rabbit creature bounded through the air, causing small bursts of wind to blow and annoy some of the members of the crowd as their hats or paperwork went flying around, granting some dirty looks in his direction. Zephyr attempted to land in the boy's spiky hair, if successful he would nestle himself in and simply wait, if not he would simply hover in front of the boy with a sad and disappointed look in his eyes.

Poko facepalmed and sighed at her rabbit-like creature, must he always force her to talk to people like this? Poko begrudgingly made her way over to the stranger "I'm so sorry!" Poko apologised sincerely, her blue eyes now flecked with a light pink in embarrassment, "I keep telling him not to fly off, but he never listens." she growled in Zephyr's direction, but her comment was apparently ignored as Zephyr continued to stay where he was.

Job - To Earthland and beyond! [Pokomon & Eero] Empty Re: Job - To Earthland and beyond! [Pokomon & Eero]

Post by Elyon 11th April 2018, 8:31 am

Eero was doing his best to try and peek over the numerous heads piled in front of him. /"No use... Will have to wait? How long...?"/ Would he be even eligible? He had no recollection of his past life before he was 12. He had no idea where he came from and the only reason he knew his name was because it was written in a diary that was found alongside him. The overthinking side of Eero was slowly taking him over, filling his head with plentiful worries. Eero gave up on tip-toeing, just as he felt a light gust of wind near him. Right after he felt something plop down in his hair, which made him jump a little, but relaxed, when he heard a girl's voice, most likely apologising for whatever just happened.

Eero looked up, trying to see, but his view was obstructed by his blonde fringe. /"So much for that../ He thought as he turned towards the source of the voice. He was met with a girl with blonde hair, who was just slightly shorter than Eero himself. For a moment he was relieved to see a person who was in a very similar boat as him. Eero would have preferred to stay quiet and attempt to gesture his way through the conversation, but he had to bite the proverbial bullet. He desperately needed to get better at talking.

"O-Oh, it's fine, don't worry." Eero hoped that helped to ease the situation. He would look up, but to no avail, again. "I just wonder about whatever landed in my hair." He tried his best to chuckle, but it most likely looked like he was deathly afraid of his hair.

"Oh, that's just Zephyr." Poko explained, glaring at her companion resting in the stranger's hair once more before returning her gaze back to the boy's face and smiling sweetly, "Don't worry he's completely harmless...for the most part..." Poko trailed off, whispering the last part to herself. "Oh! I'm Poko by the way!" the blonde quickly stated as she realised she hadn't introduced herself yet, "I take it you're here for a passport too?" Poko glanced back at the crowd, it didn't seem to be going anywhere fast, the last thing she wanted was to spend all day here or worse, overnight. She scowled slightly, pondering to herself as to how could she get this completed quickly. Then she was sparked with an idea, "Ah, don't worry, I think I know a way for us to get this over with quickly!" the blonde girl beamed at the boy, her eyes now a bright yellow, happy she had come up with a plan. She figured she may as well help him while she was at it, as an apology for Zephyr's actions.

Poko closed her eyes and semi sang the chant "Hold it together, birds of a feather, nothing but lies and crooked wings. Oh. Fly over me evil angel. Open your wings evil angel." upon finishing the ritual a cloud of black smoke burst in front her, causing the crowd to gasp and move away from their location, fear placed in many of their eyes. Before Poko now stood the magnificent sight of none other than the fallen evil angel, Xiolan. Her red eyes bore into Poko's yellow ones, as she stretched, allowing her dirty-grey wings to expand, as her black tattered dress billowed around her even when no wind seemed to be blowing. "You best better not be calling me to fix a damn roof again, child." the angel cursed at her master, she had been more than a little annoyed the last time at such a stupid request, she was meant to fight, to kill, yet this small child simply used her for ridiculously pointless tasks. The angel glanced over in the boy's direction, noticing Zephyr on top of his head, "At least it appears you got rid of that awful thing you called a friend." the black-haired beauty turned back to Poko who was still smiling, although it seemed somewhat mischievous now.

"His name is Quill and he is not a 'thing."
Poko stated, still smiling wide, "Anyway, I need you to part this crowd for us and get us our passports quickly, so we can leave." the blonde girl happily explained, "So if you could help us out, without hurting anyone that would be great." Poko finished, still grinning, she was sure to add the last part or who knows what Xiolan would do to get them their passports. The angel rolled her red eyes, "Piece of cake." she stated dryly, turning to face the crowd, who instantly shuffled away from her. "Let me pass!" Xiolan commanded, the crowd obeyed, many shaking in fear of her, the angel stepped forth, Poko behind, who reached out to offer her hand to the boy with an innocent smile, just in case he was afraid to follow. If he was scared of Zephyr, god knows what he'd think of Xiolan.

Once they had made it to the front of the crowd Xiolan took charge once more, demanding the man at the desk to give them two passports. The man seemed a little more than just shaken up as he began sweating profusely and had to stop to wipe it off forehead with a handkerchief a few times. When he tried to explain that they'd need to fill out paperwork to prove their identity, Poko started to get worried, she had no way to prove that, however, Xiolan was in a fury, pissed at being given yet another menial task, the angel wanted this over and done with already. Xiolan grabbed the man from his collar, pulling his face right up to her own, "PAPERWORK!? Just give my master and her comrade here the damn passports already or I'll make you pay dearly." she spat, while she couldn't actually harm him due to Poko's orders, she could still make threats. The man simply squeaked and nodded as he lead them all over to have their photos taken and asked for their names in a wavering voice, glancing every few seconds at the angel, scared to make a mistake. Within no more than ten minutes they were done and he offered them both their passports before running off back to the desk, wanting to get away from them as soon as possible. Poko took her passport graciously with a sweet smile before turning to the boy, "Well that was easy, do you want to go get a drink or something?" she grinned as she asked, happy to be done here.

Job - To Earthland and beyond! [Pokomon & Eero] Empty Re: Job - To Earthland and beyond! [Pokomon & Eero]

So the thing in Eero's hair had a name, and yet, he wasn't any closer to discovering what was actually hiding in there. But according to the girl, Zephyr was harmless, which made Eero feel a little bit safer. The girl, however, swiftly continued as she introduced herself as Poko. She also correctly assumed that he was interested in acquiring a passport. Eero wanted to nod in approval, but the blonde girl had already plans of her own.

Eero watched, wordlessly, as Poko started to sing a rather haunting song, for his taste. When she finished the song, a cloud of black smoke appeared in front of the girl, shocking the bystander, and Eero. /"A summoning...?!"/ He thought as his eyes widened in surprise at the incredible sight of a winged creature. However, as the smoke dissipated, a being that resembled an evil-looking angel-like being. Eero took a shaking step back when the being spoke in a thunderous voice. But then it looked Eero's way and he felt his face drain of all colour. At this point, Eero was unsure as to what he was supposed to think. Poko, on the other hand, just nonchalantly commanded the angel being to pave way between the people. The being fumed, but ultimately it obeyed the girl's command.

The crowd stepped aside and let the winged being pass. Whether it was because it told them to or because of sheer fear, Eero didn't know. But he thought that it was most likely both. He persuaded his legs to move and follow Poko and her summon, to the now visible desk filled with various amounts of papers. The man sitting behind the desk was absolutely terrified. Not that Eero blamed him, really. He himself just had to trust the girl, whom he had just met, to not let the evil angel being run rampant. And just like that - the passports were done. With a help of a few life threats from the summon, but otherwise the procedure went by quite smoothly. Except for the looks from other people, but Eero tried his best filter them out of his mind.

Eero took his passport gratefully, with a short bow. The man ran off back to the desk and Poko just smiled at Eero, inviting him for a drink. He still hadn't completely processed what had just happened and the colour most likely still hadn't gotten back to his face. Was that a kind of power that mages just inherently had? It raised some questions, but Eero brushed them away. He would put his freshly new passport into his bag. The chains on the artifact hanging from his choker rustled quietly at Eero's movement. "Thanks for getting the passport for me aswell. You shouldn't have." Eero would say, slightly embarrased. He essentially made a girl do all the work for him, all while he just stood there, staring at the scene with his mouth open. "If you know of a cheap place to eat, I would be happy to treat you. For helping me out... Yeah." Eero would offer with a shaky voice, as he struggled to keep eye contact with Poko. That was when he remembered that he never even shared his name with Poko in the first place. "I'm Eero, by the way." He would add quickly, with equally shaky voice as before.
