Again Advent had found himself without a place to call home and this was through no fault of his own but then it wasn't the fault of the guild he had been a member of either. It was his nomadic wanderings and the way he viewed things that made it clear that he would never really fit in with the noble people of Infinity Hydra as much as he may have wished for it to be the case. Wandering once again he dealt with the issues that had been asked of him, recently it had been within Beanstalk village and though he hadn't expected it he had made two friends which he had called 'Key' and 'Lady' though was hoping that one of these days the alcoholic would tell him her name at some point. He stopped for a moment his hand going to his head "I don't feel well..." he said quietly to those that followed him, this was something that had been building over time as he hadn't been given enough time to rest since before he had met his former guild master.

"It's not that, I purified after the village." he explained to them stumbling over his own feet "Yuui, I'm frightened something isn't right with me..." his voice trembling showing he wasn't pretending about the fear he was feeling "Well I can't call fox lady... I don't think it works like that, I'm still learning the summoning thing remember." he said falling to his hands and knees as he tripped over what he believed to be the root of a tree, his head moved around in disorientation "Th-there's no life here... wh-where am I? Y-Yuui... please help me... please" he begged the head of his family, he knew he would get punished for asking for the help but he had no idea where he was and with whatever was going on with him he needed their guidance more than ever. He felt his hand being taken "There house nearby, I lead you. You rest for while I sure and then we leave." said a gentle voice female voice spoke in broken common.

The long white haired youth knew this voice to be the youngest of his guardian's the priestess Zen-Ze, when he had asked her to describe herself when he was younger she had said she wore a long white silk kimono like robe with a pale blue obi sash, that she had long lavender hair that touched the ground thought it was held back at the bottom by a piece of white silk ribbon and that her eye colour matched her hair. He had no idea what any of these things or colours were but he was sure she looked pretty. Standing he followed her on unsteady legs using her as support "Seems brought you to cursed lands, rest and we leave after better." she said in the broken tongue of Fiore, entering the house that seemed long since abandoned helping him to a corner lowering him so he could rest. "Thank you Zen-Ze..." he whispered hugging his legs to his chest, his head laying on them trying to protect himself as he slept but the veils he was balancer to were going haywire making it hard to really make anything out including what they wanted and why he had been dragged here by them.

Chaoris Orneis roamed the halls of the House of Lost Souls. Why was he here? The answer to that was quite the simple one. Even the crazed madman deserved the chance to make his life have meaning. Those that resided in this depraved place that would follow him would be plucked from this place, their souls placed in his care, and they would be allowed a freedom that they had never known existed; the ability to do even as their crazed mind pleased. Given, if they betrayed him or fell to another god they would be killed. But that was a different matter entirely. The lost could be saved, even if he was not the god people wanted to be saved by. The cries of those too weak to do anything else rung out throughout the halls even as he wandered to find those that were still able to function to some extent. This would bring him to a corner of the place where he would find a youth with long, white, hair and a blindfold on. Even with the covering over his eyes there was clearly something wrong with him, though Chaoris would not immediately peer into exactly what as he heard the person speaking allowed to someone else even as he lay there in a near fetal position.

Being without his armor, though both of his weapons in hand to slay those that thought him to be easy prey, the God of Blood would walk forward so that he was within range of this new being to sense. What would he do? What was wrong with this one? How lose was his mind, his soul, and would there be enough left for Chaoris to bring back with him to the brazen halls that now housed Nightmare?

Advent could hear the cries of the souls within the house as he tried to rest, most of them begging and pleading from the pain they felt while others laughed in the madness they possessed. He could only guess that these where the victims and previous owners of this forsaken home, quickly his hands went to his ears "Shh... shh... Please shh..." he seemed to almost beg them "I'll help you, I promise... just please... please... I-I need to rest a little." his voice was small as he spoke to them, how he hated how he was at current; he knew he done a horrible thing and knew this was his penance but even he needed to sleep his head was just getting worse "Zen-Ze, I think this was a bad idea..." he whispered tears falling from his eyes only to be absorbed by his blindfold, if it had been a single roaring veil then he would cope to an extent but right now three of them were working overtime, so that added with the spirits made his head hurt causing the disorientation to get worse, he didn't blame her as there was no way for her to know what was laying in wait within what was suppose to be the safety of the house.

He may have been distracted but he still felt the vibrations all be it to late to really do much "Who are you?" he asked starting to start standing up though it was clear he was far from steady on his feet he was still standing. "Is this your home? I didn't mean to trespass... my mother thought like a good place to rest." he said with a weak grin "I'll go though... there are so ma-" he stopped mid sentence his hand going to his head the other to his mouth as he started to feel sick, so slide down the wall "What the hell is going on with me?" he seemed to ask himself more than the other in the room "Something is seriously wrong... they aren't normally like this.." he moved his hand to tap his temple in the hopes to lessen or get them to give him some answers but it didn't help "What's disrupting the balance...? Why aren't they acting like they should?" it was clear he was in distress and disorientated thanks to whatever was going on so much so that he seemed to have forgotten Chaoris was even there.

By the time the one that was sitting there realized he was around Chaoris had begun to wonder if he ever actually would do so. The boy seemed dazed, lost, confused as to what was going on around him. Shushing voices that even the God of Blood did not currently hear. Was this one losing their mind too much to be of use? There was only one way to find out, and that was by speaking up. After the kid spoke to him, and subsequently trailed off in the madness he was in while talking about his mother and something being wrong about the balance and the actions of others, Chaoris would answer the questions before going off on why he was here as well. "I am Chaoris Orneis, the God of Blood. This is no home to me, no place in this physical realm is truly my home. Those you trespass against in this place are the mad, the crazed, and the depraved. None here will allow you peace and quiet, rest and relaxation. They will fight, spit, annoy, and bother you to no end. I came here to offer these lost souls a salvation through me, to fight for me and have a purpose in life where even their madness is ignored so that they may do as they please." His voice, deep and gravelly, seemed to echo as he spoke to the kid even as he stood where he had been the entire time even as he poured the power of his spirit into the words so that even the crazed around him would have it pierce into their mind. Surely this one could understand if he was able to even notice him without attacking. There was a glimmer of possibility, and that was all Chaoris needed.

Advent winced holding his head as the other spoke trying his best to concentrate on him and the words he spoke but right now that was easier said than done. He really wished that he was in a forest or somewhere surrounded in plant life but this wasn't going to happen anytime soon given his current location "Chaoris Orneis?" he repeated in a small tone his head tipping as if he was listening something but his facial expression showed that he was finding it hard to hear the information he was getting "Will you lot please hush.. I can't hear them over you!" he was still as disorientated but he was irritated "If you don't then it won't be help I'll give but true death now hush!" he demanded a sigh of relief escaping his lips only to flinch as if he had been hit at the back of his head  "I'm sorry Ayu but I couldn't hear any of you over them..." he bowed low to the unseen person sitting up "Well I was brought here and it's no good for me... I don't think so anyw- hu? Oh..." he breathed a little turning his attention back to the other.

"There's no such thing as gods, there are the veils and their guardians." he explained in a calmer tone but the voices had started to whisper once more, making him growl a little "Don't even think on it!" he told them no sooner than he had been aggressive than he seemed to calm, right now skimming over that this wasn't his home nor that any place was on the physical plane right now that was just to much for his troubled mind to handle. "Not everyone here is dark, there are some lights... they're victims" he shook his head bringing his hands to help himself up "You're right they won't give peace but recently no matter where I have went it's the same." he said honestly it was starting to become an issue as these spirits he didn't trust to purify around so it had to be done as others baring his magic done it and that was slowly through resting. He had managed to get it down to the point he was himself but it was tedious and he wasn't given more than fifteen minutes rest at a time before the next task was given to him.

"Salvation through you?" this seemed to puzzle the long haired youth as he thought on the word. The only salvation he knew of was when people ended up in the right cycle after they had passed, so he had to ask "Are you a veil guardian?" he knew there where other veils he hadn't or couldn't touch given the ones he seemingly served. Advent felt the power radiating of the other and raised his blindfold just a little hearing the spirits go completely silent "They've backed away, you've frightened them..." he seemed surprised by it as he fixed his blindfold during the time his blindfold up he would have been able to see that his eye wasn't the way it should be. Where the iris and pupil should be was solid ice blue within the blue there was glowing dull golden script runes. "They should be given rest or punishment Orn, not be given another chance to harm..." He took a deep breath at what he was about to do.

He didn't like doing this kind of thing when he was feeling like his normal self but now he was doing it disorientated and feeling ill, removing his blindfold he proceeded to tie it around his wrist before moving into what what could only be seen as an unnatural stance though he didn't seem to find any pain or discomfort within it. Around his body came an eerie dark purple almost black mist as he started to slowly move from him, as haunting music that would chill most to the bone now heard around the hall that wasn't there before his eyes now opening revealing his strange eyes as the strange melancholy requiem continued. He was already starting to feel drained and lethargic but he needed to see this to the end as if he didn't the punishment to him would be brutal, he had went through that once and had never made the mistake again; after a long gruelling few minutes he fell to his knees panting the spirits the other had collected were gone.

This poor boy, he was either dumb or inexperienced with the world he lived in. No such thing as gods, only veils and their guardians? It was clear he had no clue what was going on, so maybe Chaoris should insert himself into what the other was saying. Maybe in his beliefs, there was a spot for someone like the God of Blood. "If you say there are no Gods, then I would be a veil guardian in the words you speak. How you explain me to your religion and belief matters little to me. These spirits fear me for good reason, I can harm them as if they were the living while they can do naught to me. And rest or punishment, that is not all there is for those that fall. The living have a chance to be given rest by dying in battle, that is the only way for my veil. The punishment I give out is for the dishonorable, and those with a cowards mind."

Chaoris would speak his words even as the other began to do what looked like some kind of orchestrated dance that caused him to emit a cloud of magical mist. Following it was a music that rose up around the place even as the spirits that revolved around Chaoris passed into the realm they truly belonged to; his own realm. It was odd, seeing one banish the spirits that were his own property. Normally it would be a thing to kill for doing such a thing, but if he could do it to the God of Blood, he could do it to any other kind as well...interesting indeed. He had seen this before, another worshipper that had been slain had used what he believed was to be called 'Requiem' magic. They were potent, though had a touch of mania that went with it if used too often, but that was something he had a plan for already.

"The puzzle solves itself, it seems. Requiem is a dangerous thing, something that needs to be controlled lest you kill yourself in the line of duty by mistake. Friendly fire, madness, dishonorable actions, your path is a poor one without help. I can help you control this power if you come and join my followers at my side."

Advent listened to the other from his knelt spot on the floor his hand going to his fully sleeved arm as he felt the light corrupting touch from what he had just done. "Well it's not like I had a choice Leto and I can't do that here... I'd be an idiot to even try" he said calmly rubbing his head as he tried to get his thoughts together but that was proving to be more difficult now "They needed to be in the right cycles care so they couldn't do or be harmed." he reminded himself moving to place his blindfold back on "Yuui, please don't... not right now. I am tired, disorientated and feeling sick." he said sighing shaking his head "Orn doesn't seem like a bad person, he chased them away so maybe I can sleep." he said wondering if the head of his family would push the matter "hu? oh... whoops..." he scratched the back of his head looking back to Chaoris. "Sorry, I got distracted.. what where you saying?" he asked with a slight grin of a child who had been up to something.

He tilted his head gaining the information he missed while talking to Leto and Yuui "You're a veil guardian? They normally choose someone to do their tasks for them, it's strange for them to do tasks on their own." he said scratching the side of his temple as he tried to make sense of it "Is your veil new?" he asked if it was it would explain the reasoning behind no one being chosen yet to forfil the tasks of the guardian of the veil "Oh Ari wants to know which veil is yours." he continued trying to figure out things on his own. "It's unusual to be able to harm spirits, I have the ability but don't like doing it... I don't like harming the living either but sometimes it's needed." he said his hand about to touch his runed arm but pulled back his hand quickly almost like he was afraid to. "Ari sounds like a warrior veil..." he said finally figuring out what were the best place suited "They said your veil is one I should remain away from, that I'd never atone for my sins." he said his head lowering like a puppy that had just been told off.

Hearing his magic being spoken of he raised his head a look of shock and horror on his face "Shh... I'm not allowed to talk of my magic. People don't understand it... they'd hurt or worse because of the curse I have." he said tilting his head as he listened "It doesn't kill us, it sends us to a state of madness where we can never return from. There's a hidden island where those like that go to spend the rest of their natural lives." he shuddered as he thought of the requiem graveyard it wasn't a place he ever wanted to end up that was for sure. "I have a teacher, she helps me but I haven't seen her in a while due to my duties keeping me here for the longest time." he said as the other offered to help guild him with his magic "The parents of magic don't like mine, my parents say they see it as cursed and forbidden." he said clenching at his trousers "You know requiem aren't normally chosen by guardians to do tasks, we aren't seen as stable enough... I was chosen because I had to atone and this was their punishment." he said honestly covering his mouth to yawn. Then it dawned on him "Wait... you know about Requiem magic?" he had never came across someone who did so when he realised it caught him off guard.

The questions about him being a veil guardian and his veil were sudden, but he already had answers to them while still managing to be truthful. "I am indeed a veil guardian. Remove the mask and peer into me, search inside my soul. I have nothing to hide from you or anyone else. My veil is the Veil of Eternal Battle, it really is a warrior veil." The mentioning of him atoning for his sins was odd, what sins had he committed that another guardian would tell him he could not atone for it by shedding blood? Such an odd one that must be. "A sin depends on those that you serve. A kill in the protection of one's self would be seen as an honorable kill to me and my veil. As would a rout in a battle, with none surviving, be seen as something to be proud of. Cowardice, fear, allowing one to be attacked and not protecting yourself, those are the sins of my veil. If you do not think you can be absolved of your sins, then maybe those that tell you such are simply using you as a tool for their own works."

"As for your magic. I do know about Requiem magic, one being that could use it died in my service, showed me what he was capable of. I have seen what happens when one hits the limit of what they should be doing, though he was not taken alive like he said others normally were. Your magic is nothing to fear, not when it is something that can be controlled in the end if one is careful, or has the help of another. But please, if it helps you understand, peer into my soul to help you understand everything." The god of blood did not command, he simply spoke everything he said at this point. It was clear that not every word, if any at all, got through to this troubled mind he was speaking to. All it took was one word to slither into his mind to cause his entire reality to collapse into what was really going on. If not today, it would linger and fester until it eventually struck at the heart. Then he would either gain a new follower or drive him further into the ways he seemed forced into.

Advent listened intently though covered his mouth to yawn, he needed to sleep but he knew that while in the lands he was in it wasn't going to happen but in small doses. "Sorry, I'm sleepy." he said feeling the need to apologise for how he had just acted but then that was how he had been raised by the unseen forces he called parents. He nodded to what the other said about being the guardian of a veil but he seemed almost worried that the other had asked him to take off his blindfold and look within his soul for the answers; more so as he knew that he could see within the spirit of people as it was a rare ability that no other Requiem had ever possessed to his knowledge. "H-how did you know I-I could see spirits i-inside bodies?" he finally stuttered out, sure he could see and hear spirits that where dead but as far as he knew there where plenty of people who could do that; seeing to a spirit inside a still living body was far harder.

"I can't remove my blindfold, it's taboo for me to do so in a living person... to much chance of b-" he stopped mid-sentence as if he had been told off "Sorry, I know." he said sighing lowering his head like a scolded child, he knew they done this to protect him but it always seemed like he was keeping everyone at arms length and it was bothering him as he was raised without such boundaries. "But he's a veil guardian, it should be okay to..." he said biting his lip flinching like he just got swatted at the back of his head, he knew better than to argue the fact of looking inside normal people let alone a guardian of a veil. He had no reason to trust the other but without looking he couldn't exactly deny his claim so it was a bit of a conundrum as he would never dare to look into the spirit of a cycle guardian, it never ended well or so it had been said from the ones he currently served so right now he had to take him by his word.

"Eternal battle?" he scratched his cheek as he took in what that would entail shuddering a little as war came with a lot of darkness, blood and hidden agendas. It was something that he knew that would prevent his atonement but knew such a thing was needed, after all warriors needed a place to call home after they passed. "I am trying to rid my hands of blood not gain more, I altered my requiems so they can't do harm to allies or innocent people..." he said holding up his hands facing Chaoris unsure if he could see the blood of those he killed when he was a child "I caused a genocide when I was but a few hours old, where requiem are born with one small set of runes. I was born with five, they activated and entwined when I was a newborn..." he turned his head away ashamed of what he was saying "Boom went my homeland and a lot of land around it, the guardians of life, death, rebirth and spirit have me do things to atone for the sin I committed." he explained, he knew he didn't mean it to happen but at the same time it was still innocent blood he had spilt and had to make amends for regardless.

"Requiem runes only activate on their own like that if the requiem feels there's something wrong and their life is in danger." he said looking down to him nothing could merit the amount of death and destruction he caused that day. "My cursed magic..." he said lowering his hands with a sigh "Why couldn't I have been born with something normal and allowed?" he huffed like a child but it was easy to see why he was upset his magic wasn't exactly the safest in earthland and it could send him insane thus to an early demise after harming those he classed as friends. "Everyone is a tool, again it's just a perception that people have, believe they are doing as they wish when they are just serving a higher master." he said with a shrug this was just how he viewed the matter because it didn't matter if it was a being of the veils, a guild master, king, parent or the magic council you where always dancing to someone else's tune.

Advent stood as he spoke of another like him that he had once had in his service "There are no other requiem like me Orn." it was a true statement even within his cursed magic it seemed he got the short end of the stick being cursed for a second time with the amount he had been born with. "Yes, we go insane and have to be put down or sent to the graveyard to spend the rest of our days there with the others that fell to the madness." he said shaking visibly it was clear the thoughts of either those fates scared him to no end "I am not falling to my curses madness, I refuse to!" his voice showed nothing but strength and determination in that statement as he clenched his hands into balls before it dawned of him "You know the stages we go through and the signs for each stage..." he gripped at the fabric that covered his sleeved arm, moving on the spirits Chaoris gained had caused him to go up a stage of corruption in one fail swoop and caused the faint bruising that came as evidence of that taint.

The white haired youth nodded his head to what the other had to say, he agreed that if it was kept a close eye on and curved then the madness would never take over and the corruption could be kept at bay. His parents helped with this as did the celestial spirit by the name of Aiyana, he soon came to the realisation he hadn't seen his teacher in some time and the time within the manor with his former guild master Ardere had proved he could be cut off from his parents. It was a scary thought to be alone without any guidance, that the corruption could seep in and he may believe that he was fine but nothing may be further from the truth; again this fear caused him to shake. "I'm not allowed to look into veil guardians it may cause something bad to happen so need to take you at your word." he said after a long moment a weak smile on his face.

There was so much that this boy "could not do" according to the spirits that were with him. So controlling, he was not allowed to have much control over himself or his powers because of that they told him to do. Looking at him and listening to him talk about his past would not give him something to dislike him for, it gave Chaoris an even greater reason to try and draw him in. Such power in its current state was a waste, it needed to be used and trained to learn control. Some of the stuff was completely wrong, many of which would clearly be lies told to him in the past. "But once one is the master, they are no tool but the one that uses them. Thus there are those like me, where anything involving me feeds me strength so that I may continue on carrying out what I do. And such power should not be withheld, but trained to be used properly without accident. Altering it to be less useful simply hides inexperience and allows stagnancy, but that is something for a later date. You will clearly not see in a single conversation for this, but please come with me while I deal with something else."

Chaoris would speak, his subject changing as he felt someone turn traitor on him. Someone was preparing to give info away on the guild in exchange for safety away from them to try and survive. "Someone has betrayed the trust of myself and my 'tools' that work in my name. If you would like to see more about me, rather than just words and my form, feel free to step into the portal that I create and you can see what happens to traitors in my realm." With that Chaoris would create a portal and step into it. If the boy followed he would learn more of the God of Blood and his ways, if not he was simply someone too lost to worry about any longer. He would lose to the others within this place anyway with how far in he was with the magic he had.
