       Primary Magic: Wind Magic
       Secondary Magic: TBA
       Caster or Holder: Caster
       Description: Leona practices a form of wind magic that has been passed down in her village for centuries. It was taught to her by her mother and older brother. It is a powerful offensive style that has protected her village from rivals for centuries. In addition to traditional spells, it also makes used of magically enhanced unarmed martial arts.

    In combat Leona uses it for a balanced offense. It lends itself to both close-range and distance attacks. The close-range attacks allow her to put pressure on magic users who rely on distance attacks and hold her own against opponents who fight in close quarters. The long-range attacks allow her to stay out of range and wear down unarmed opponents or opponents who use weapons.

       Strengths:


    • Well-rounded offense; can be used for short-range or long-range fighting


    • Reasonably fast unarmed attacks that rarely leave long openings for opponents to exploit


    • Reasonably fast unarmed attacks allow her to keep pressure on opponents in hand-to-hand combat


    • "Jack of all trades" offense (single target, multi-target, area-of-effect)


       Weaknesses:


    • Offense-oriented, not much in the way of defense


    • Area-of-effect spells do not discriminate between friend or foe


    • Wind spells could be eaten by Slayers to gain a power boost


    • Most of the offensive spells are geared towards taking on single opponents


    • Crowd control leaves something to be desired in terms of power


       Lineage:

       Light of Luna
       Description: Luna goddess of the moon and the hunt favours those who are bold and adventurous. Every 10 years or so, she would descend down from the heavens to bestow a gift to those she deems worthy. Those chosen will receive the gift of light, giving him or her powers to thwart the darkness.
       Ability: Those chosen become wardens of the night. Speed and strength are increased significantly at the night. Basic senses are also heightened. And their most potent ability, Blade of the Goddess,  a crescent shaped sword that glows like the crescent moon. The sword is made of pure light energy enabling it to cut through almost anything, including the darkness itself.
       Usage: Both passive and active abilities only take effect at night.
       Passive: Speed and strength increase by 25%. Senses are also greatly heightened.
       Active: Once per battle, user has the ability to Summon the Blade of the Goddess. The Blade can cut through all forms of evil magic, offensive or defensive, provided they are equal to the user's current rank, though it caps at S-Rank. The sword last only for 3 posts and goes on cooldown if used to cut through a dark spell. The sword is treated as an artifact weapon for damage.

       Unique Abilities:

    Desert Ranger- Leona is at home in the desert. She can move 50% faster over sand than an ordinary person.

    Gale Force- Whenever the wind blows directly on Leona, her strength is boosted by 25%. For the buff to activate the wind must be natural, not magical in origin. Does not work in indoor areas.

    Lunar Guardian- When nightfall arrives, Leona receives a 25% increase in defense.

    Description: Raising a hand into the air and then swinging it downward, Leona generates a small tornado that blocks one D-ranked spell before dissipating. It protects an area of 11.25m in front of her.

    Strengths:

    • Can block one D-ranked spell


    Weaknesses:

    • Wind Wall can only block D-rank spells; C-rank and higher can easily break through


    • Small area of protection

       Description: Leona draws back her hand and opens it. Her fingers are covered in wind claws that she uses to swipe the target, sending out a small wind crescent that travels at 45m/s. This is a single-target spell with damage-over-time effect as the target bleeds for half of rank D damage for 3 turns on a successful hit. The claws last for a single use, successful or not.
       Strengths:

    • Can cause bleeding damage that lasts for three turns beyond the initial strike


    • Casting gesture can surprise enemies who think she is only going to slap them


    • Blood can be used to track enemies who flee

       Weaknesses:

    • Does not do much damage; relies on DoT for bulk of power


    • Can be blocked by shields or hard objects


    • Strong or fast opponents can catch her hand before the attack is completed, making her waste the MP used to cast the spell


    • Wound can be covered with bandage, making tracking more difficult


    Name: Wind Ball

      Description: Leona opens her hand and a ball of wind energy forms in her hand. She then throws it at the target in the same fashion as throwing a baseball. Dissipates on contact with target. A single-target spell. The projectile travels at 45m/s.
      Strengths:

    • Quick to use


    • Is a simple projectile attack




      Weaknesses:

    • Slow projectile speed gives targets time to dodge or block the projectile


    • She can only throw one at a time



    Name: Lion's Tail Sweep

      Description: Leona's foot is encased in a glowing silver "boot" of wind magic. She performs a low sweep kick. It is a single-target attack. The boot lasts for a single strike, successful or not.
      Strengths:

    • Can be used as an improvised defensive measure by kicking up miniature dirt or sand clouds (depending on terrain it is used in)


    • Can knock opponents off their feet if caught by surprise

      Weaknesses:

    • She cannot see out of dirt or sand clouds she kicks up


    • Attack can be jumped over


    • Sufficiently sturdy opponents can "tank" the hit and retaliate while she regains her footing

     Description: Powering her hand with energy, Leona swings it sideways in a swift motion, sending forth a disc made of wind. It travels at 45m/s. It can bounce off of objects once; a second bounce before hitting the target makes it dissipate.
    Strengths:

    • It can bounce off of objects (once) to hit enemies from unexpected angles


     Weaknesses:

    • Air Disc can be dodged easily by ducking


    • Unless launched at close range, slow speed can make dodging easier



    Name: Storm Impact
    Rank: C
    Type: Wind, Offensive
    Duration: 1 Post
    Cooldown: 3 posts
    Description: Raising a fist into the air, it is wrapped in wind shaped like a miniature tornado. Leona then drops to one knee and punches the ground. An expanding dome of wind with a radius of 30 meters emanates from her position, dealing damage and possibly staggering opponents. The spell takes five seconds to charge.
    Strengths:

    • Can help Leona escape situations where she is surrounded


    • Can stagger multiple enemies

    Weaknesses:

    • Allies are not immune to damage and effects


    • Casting gesture telegraphs intent, giving enemies time to prepare countermeasures or simply get out of range


    • Expanding dome could also knock debris around and cause collateral damage; use in inhabited areas is risky

    Description: Powering her open hands with magic, Leona leaps into the air and swings them at opponents. Eight wind balls the size of tennis balls rain down on the enemy. Projectiles travel at 90m/s. The spell takes five seconds to charge. Each ball deals 25% C-rank damage if they hit.
    Strengths:

    • Can strike multiple opponents once or hit a single opponent up to eight times


    • Can make a good distraction


    Weaknesses:

    • Damage is low


    • Does not have any additional effects for crowd control


    • Needs some space to jump in order to be used

    Description: Gathering magic into her hand, Leona performs a downward chopping motion. A crescent made of wind energy is launched towards the enemy. The projectile travels at 90m/s. The spell can stagger the opponent if it hits.
    Strengths:

    • Casting gesture can fool enemies into thinking she is performing martial arts instead of using a projectile spell


    Weaknesses:

    • Crescent Wave can be dodged by stepping sideways


    • Aside from the potential to stagger enemies, does not inflict much damage

    Gale Force- Whenever the wind blows directly on Leona, her strength is boosted by 25%. For the buff to activate the wind must be natural, not magical in origin. Does not work in indoor areas.

    Lunar Guardian- When nightfall arrives, Leona receives a 25% increase in defense.

    Description: Raising a hand into the air and then swinging it downward, Leona generates a small tornado that blocks one D-ranked spell before dissipating. It protects an area of 11.25m in front of her.

    Strengths:

    • Can block one D-ranked spell


    Weaknesses:

    • Wind Wall can only block D-rank spells; C-rank and higher can easily break through


    • Small area of protection

       Description: Leona draws back her hand and opens it. Her fingers are covered in wind claws that she uses to swipe the target, sending out a small wind crescent that travels at 45m/s. This is a single-target spell with damage-over-time effect as the target bleeds for half of rank D damage for 3 turns on a successful hit. The claws last for a single use, successful or not.
       Strengths:

    • Can cause bleeding damage that lasts for three turns beyond the initial strike


    • Casting gesture can surprise enemies who think she is only going to slap them


    • Blood can be used to track enemies who flee

       Weaknesses:

    • Does not do much damage; relies on DoT for bulk of power


    • Can be blocked by shields or hard objects


    • Strong or fast opponents can catch her hand before the attack is completed, making her waste the MP used to cast the spell


    • Wound can be covered with bandage, making tracking more difficult

    • Is a simple projectile attack




      Weaknesses:

    • Slow projectile speed gives targets time to dodge or block the projectile


    • She can only throw one at a time

      Description: Leona's foot is encased in a glowing silver "boot" of wind magic. She performs a low sweep kick. It is a single-target attack. The boot lasts for a single strike, successful or not.
      Strengths:

    • Can be used as an improvised defensive measure by kicking up miniature dirt or sand clouds (depending on terrain it is used in)


    • Can knock opponents off their feet if caught by surprise

      Weaknesses:

    • She cannot see out of dirt or sand clouds she kicks up


    • Attack can be jumped over


    • Sufficiently sturdy opponents can "tank" the hit and retaliate while she regains her footing

     Description: Powering her hand with energy, Leona swings it sideways in a swift motion, sending forth a disc made of wind. It travels at 45m/s. It can bounce off of objects once; a second bounce before hitting the target makes it dissipate.
    Strengths:

    • It can bounce off of objects (once) to hit enemies from unexpected angles


     Weaknesses:

    • Air Disc can be dodged easily by ducking


    • Unless launched at close range, slow speed can make dodging easier

    Description: Raising a fist into the air, it is wrapped in wind shaped like a miniature tornado. Leona then drops to one knee and punches the ground. An expanding dome of wind with a radius of 30 meters emanates from her position, dealing damage and possibly staggering opponents. The spell takes five seconds to charge.
    Strengths:

    • Can help Leona escape situations where she is surrounded


    • Can stagger multiple enemies

    Weaknesses:

    • Allies are not immune to damage and effects


    • Casting gesture telegraphs intent, giving enemies time to prepare countermeasures or simply get out of range


    • Expanding dome could also knock debris around and cause collateral damage; use in inhabited areas is risky

    Description: Powering her open hands with magic, Leona leaps into the air and swings them at opponents. Eight wind balls the size of tennis balls rain down on the enemy. Projectiles travel at 90m/s. The spell takes five seconds to charge. Each ball deals 25% C-rank damage if they hit.
    Strengths:

    • Can strike multiple opponents once or hit a single opponent up to eight times


    • Can make a good distraction


    Weaknesses:

    • Damage is low


    • Does not have any additional effects for crowd control


    • Needs some space to jump in order to be used

    Description: Gathering magic into her hand, Leona performs a downward chopping motion. A crescent made of wind energy is launched towards the enemy. The projectile travels at 90m/s. The spell can stagger the opponent if it hits.
    Strengths:

    • Casting gesture can fool enemies into thinking she is performing martial arts instead of using a projectile spell


    Weaknesses:

    • Crescent Wave can be dodged by stepping sideways


    • Aside from the potential to stagger enemies, does not inflict much damage
