    Primary Magic: Haunting Melody
    Secondary Magic:
    Caster or Holder: Holder -- Lost
    Description: This is a lost magic, only used by the inhabitants of a small island, now deceased. The magic has a range of abilities. To perform the magic one must play certain notes on the flute in sequence while pushing MP into the flute as you play.

    Ezekiel gained this magic by forging a pact with a Cat Demon, who was one of the last creatures to know how to perform the magic. The demon taught Ezekiel in exchange for Ezekiel being a host for the demon's dying spirit. Ezekiel uses the magic primarily for offensive purposes and to create illusions.
    Strengths:

    • Versatile. This magic is extremely versatile. A song can be played to do nearly anything.
    • Hard to Dodge. The spells of this magic are hard to dodge due to most of them being composed of sound.
    • Power. This magic style is very powerful, in both damage and debuffing.

    Weaknesses:

    • Deaf Immunity. Most of the spells of this style are useless when the target is deaf
    • Ranged Focus. This magic is mostly useless at melee range
    • Instrumental. This magic requires the mage to be able to play their flute, if they can't play then the magic is useless
    • Widespread. Aoe spells and multi target spells can affect allies if they don't attempt to blot out the noise

    Lineage: Time Keeper's Curse
    Spoiler:
    Ability: The Time Keeper is able to slow down or speed up time Slowing down time makes the user appear faster, being the equivalent of a 100% speed and reaction boost. Speed up time makes the user appear slower by 100% and very slow to react. The user can also once per thread, completely stop time for 1 post to avoid an attack or something. They cannot affect anything while time is stopped at all and after use they will cannot use spells for 3 posts and they cannot use the speeding up or slowing down time ability of this lineage.
    Usage:Time speeding or time slowing share a 1 post duration and a cooldown of 5 posts. The user can use their ability to only affect themselves. They can speed up their melee attacks to cause them to deal 50% more damage or slow their attacks down to dodge potential threats. The user once per thread, can stop time completely for 1 post but cannot affect anything and only can move at this time. After stopping time completely the user cannot use spells for 3 posts due to the stress placed on their bodies due to stopping time completely. In addition, they cannot use the speeding up or slowing down time ability of this ability while they cannot use spells.

    • Musical Prowess -- Ezekiel can cause any music to play from his flute, even if it is from another instrument
    • Demonic Blood -- Ezekiel has advanced natural healing due to the demon essence inside him, he heals 5% every other post
    • Demonic Shapeshifting -- Ezekiel can shift from human form into a cat and anything in between, he can take his human form, the from of a red furred cat, or his human form with cat-like features. he can also gain demonic features in any of his forms, these are purely aesthetic

    Type: Offensive Multi-Hit
    Duration: 2

    Description: A long low note summons the ghostly hand, then rapid high notes cause the hand to perform a flurry of punches that rip and tear at both the body and mana of the target, the arm has a 40 meter reach from the flute and punches at 30 meters/s. Each punch does 5 damage and 1% Mana Burn and it is a flurry of 4 punches
    Strengths:

    • Hard to Dodge. Due to speed and multiple attacks
    • Mana Burn. The spell burns off mana, 1% mana burn per landed punch
    • Non-audio. The spell can hit targets that don't hear it (can affect deaf people)

    Weaknesses:

    • Focused. The spell requires focus on playing the flute and aiming the arm to hit the target, attacks not coming from a target are much harder to dodge for the caster
    • Finale. The spell winds the user due to the rapid flute playing, lowering there speed by 10% and making them weaker for 1 post
    • Range. The spell isn't good for long range and can't be used when the target is close, giving it a very small effective range
    • Physical. The spell can be cut and blocked like a physical arm

    Type: Sound-Based Single Target Debuff/Illusion

    Description: A long drawn out quite note, which is held for at least 4 seconds. After the target hears the note their brain begins to believe the musical 'silence' to be the only noise, after they begin to hear nothing their brain begins to forget about their allies around them and then begins to see the world around them fade to black. They now see themselves in a dark empty room with a dim spotlight shining down on them and shadowy figures lurking just at the edge of the light.

    The spell doesn't injure the target, just makes them unable to see anything and causes them to become terrified. This spell only effects targets of equal rank or lower
    Strengths:

    • Sneaky. The spell is quite, might be able to be used without giving away the caster's location

    Weaknesses:

    • Close Range. The spell is quiet and requires the target to be very close so they can hear the music and be effected by the spell.
    • Quiet. if someone blocks their ears before the spell takes hold, the spell fails due to the target not hearing the music. The mana is spent but the spell doesn't go on cooldown


    Name: Name: Cresendo: Fire Deep, Flames High
    Rank: D
    Type: Sound-Based Single Target Offensive
    Duration: 1
    Cooldown: 2
    Description: A progressively louder song on the flute, fiery and fast paced. The target is wrapped in spectral crimson fire which grows into the air. 10 meter range deals 30 damage
    Strengths:

    • Deadly. The spell has a 50% damage increase
    • Hard to Dodge. the spell surrounds the target making it hard to dodge without incredible speed (to escape before being completely covered) or a teleportation spell

    Weaknesses:

    • Focused. The spell requires focus on playing the correct notes to complete the spell attacks not coming from the target are much harder to dodge for the caster
    • Finale. The spell winds the user due to the rapid flute playing, lowering there speed by 10% and making them weaker for 1 post
    • Close Range. The spell has an extremely short range, to compensate for the extra damage

    Rank: D
    Type: Defensive
    Duration: 2
    Cooldown: 3
    Description: A song on the flute, the next hostile spell of D rank to target the caster during the duration is dispelled, turned to crystallized mana and shattered
    Strengths:

    • Impenetrable. It blocks not only physical spells but also sound based ones.

    Weaknesses:

    • Visual Weakness. visual spells are not effected by this defense
    • Blocking. doesn't dispel spells that are duration based IF they have already been cast in a previous post

    The duration of the debuff is 3, why would it have a strength of only effecting the target for 1 post?

    Effects can only last for 1 post.
    You could keep it as 3 post duration but it would be better if you drop the whole spell to D:1/C:2 posts.

    When people mention 1 post in magics it refers to 1 round of posting.
    So if person B gets hit by the affect then they would be affected by the debuff up until they posted again. The debuff would be in affect as people C, D, A posted. They would have to deal with it don't worry.
