    job:

This wasn't good. Not good at all. Someone had to do something, right? This couldn't be left unchecked, as the rumors would hasten the arrival of an even greater threat. No.. Someone had to do something. Black Rose HAD to do something... And that's exactly what was going to happen. Kiru, Ace of Hearts, stood in the main lobby of the Inn. Alone. Many of the tables that usually housed patrons and their meals were left vacant, and had been shoved into the center of the room, closely knit together to form one massive table. Across it was a large piece of parchment. This paper appeared to be a detailed map of what seemed like a rather snowy region. One word stood out among the rest of this map... And that word was "Vintermyr."

The hour was late, and the Silver Moon Inn's sign was turned to the "Closed" side, warning potential customers to stay their distance. They would not find sleep here tonight. Instead, the guild was closed off to anyone who didn't bear the Black Rose seal. For this was an extremely special and delicate event. Kiru stood over the table, her cyan gaze scanning the map relentlessly. What had happened? Why was the guild in distress? Simple. The snowy forests of Vintermyr had recently suffered a sudden, and hostile attack. Beasts of snow and ice showed up from nowhere, cutting a bloody swath through the region. Of course, Black Rose, the renowned wizard guild of Rose Garden had been called to assist. Kiru intended to follow through with her promises.

The water mage had sent letters and messages to every guild member, no matter where they were. Urging them to return to Silver Moon, as they prepared to march on the frosty forest and end the conflict rising there. They should be arriving soon. The night was dark.. Quiet. And now rain broke the silence...

It was very dark outside when Desirée received the notification on her laptop, which awoke her and her companion from their slumbers. Her computer screen, which was open at the time, was flashing a bright pink light, which startled her as the sound caused her to launch up in her bed. "Huh?" she wondered, running to the computer and reading the urgent message that caused this large ordeal. It was storming outside as well, which made the scene rather spooky. Desirée gasped at this notification, as it contained very important information that would cause her to not get sleep that night.

"Hello fellow guild members. It has came to our realization that the snowy region of Vintermyr has been attacked by unknown monsters at this current time. We ask you to please stop what you are doing if possible, and come to the guild hall as fast as one may can. We really need your help."

"Kiwi, wake up! We need to get going!" Desirée screamed at him, as he awoke from his slumber. "What is going on?" he asked in a groggy voice, yawning. "I will explain later!" she exclaimed in a nervous tone, slipping on a a turtleneck-dress that was black and purple, made of soft fibers. She grabbed her Crystal hoop and Kiwi, stuffed them into her purse, and ran down into the kitchen. She grabbed a bottle of water and an instant tea mix out of her refrigerator, threw those items in the bag, and sprinted out the door. It was pouring rain outside and was dark, causing a thick haze of black to stretch across the streets of Rose Garden. The only thing she could use for a guide was the street-lamps that appeared along the sidewalks every twenty feet or so, as well as Kiwi's light emitting from the bag.

As she finally approached the guild hall in record time, she opened the door that essentially said "closed" on the sign. She noticed she was the second one here, as it appeared Kiru, an ace of the guild, had sent out the notifications. Desirée was out of breath from sprinting vigorously, collapsing into a chair that was laid out near the tables. "I'm here, and so is Kiwi." she said while panting, opening the bag as Kiwi hopped out onto the table. Kiwi could tell by the look on their faces that it was a very serious issue, so he did not wish to be informed as to what occurred.
    "From Chrysalis, I welcome thee."

The kamaitachi was walking the streets of Rose Garden as the storm started, rain pouring down on top of the young looking boy, soaking through his thin layers of clothes. His dirty blond hair clung to his face, his wet hood pulled over his head, not doing a very good job of keeping him dry. His bare feet made quiet slapping sounds against the side walk, this day being one of those days he decided not to wear shoes. Something he did rather often due to not like wearing shoes, they trapped his poor toes, he felt the same for clothes but he didn't really get away with lacking those. And over these many, many years, he's gotten rather used to it, as annoying as it was. His small hands rested in his jean pockets, that of which was also soaked through by the pouring rain. He pulled one of his hands from said pockets to open the door to the Black Rose guild hall, or Silver Moon Inn as most people knew it as. The sign was flipped, saying the word that was usually on the other side. Though being unable to properly read, was unsure as to what it meant, but it sure kept everybody out.
Walking in he glanced around, it was eerily silent, the usually busy restaurant was empty. All except for the two young woman, a blue haired girl he didn't know and the Ace of Hearts, her apathetic expression stared down at something he couldn't see from the entrance. He used a slight burst of wind to expel all water from his clothes and self, all of it sprinkling on his surroundings and most likely the idol nearby. He shook his hood from his head as the first bolt of lightning from the storm that settled overhead, struck the earth somewhere nearby. Letting out a loud crack and showing a bright colorless flash through the window, temporarily illuminating the dark room.
The noise didn't faze the yokai as he looked at what she was looking at. He wasn't at his room and nobody knew his location, so he did not receive the urgent message. Not that he would be able to read it anyways, he didn't know how to spell much words despite being rather fluent in the language. He couldn't write in his native language either, though he was fluent in speaking that too, even more so then English due to it being his first language. He hadn't gotten to learning how to read or write yet, only learning slightly from Seika before she forgot him and started hating him. Thus the itachi stayed illiterate, which probably bugged other people more then it bugged him.
The boy grinned, oblivious to the grave situation, though not totally so. He could feel the tension in the room, despite there only being two people in the guild hall not including himself. Though that was something he didn't care much for, so even if he knew what was going on, he would still act the same. You would think the Ace of Spades would try and make an effort to know the ongoings of the guild he helped run along with the other Aces and the Guildmaster. But if you thought that you don't really know Itazura, or Aruzati as he likes to go by. The weasel was one of a very relaxed nature, not being one to try and keep up with everything, ignoring his responsibilities unless they interesting. He lived for fun, and despised having to work, don't know how he got his position, but he had it. He nodded a greeting at the young woman beside him before walking over to the two-tone haired girl, peering over the table to see what she was looking at. A large parchment map, a large word at the top of the page which stated the name of the place that this map showed.
"Whatcha looking at Kiru-Chaaan~?" he asked in a teasing and curious manner, laying himself down on the paper across the table to make her have to notice him. He looked up at her face with a mischievous expression, a devilish look in his hazel eyes. Something that showed off that he was always plotting some kind of prank or joke or humiliation for his amusement. His arms were extended, his delicate fingers stretched out to touch the window opposite of him, his fingertips pressed up against the cool glass. The orange and brown mustelid ears twitched somewhere among his tousled dirty blond hair, listening to the sound of the thunder that roared in the heavy grey overcast. A strike of lightning with it's own fair share of noise followed not to long afterwards. His tail of similar color to his ears was able to be seen, peeking above his jean pants and from underneath his tan shirt and black and white inverted t-shirt hoodie which was worn over previously mentions shirt. It swayed from side to side, the movement matched his mischievous facial expression.

Irina sat on the roof of the inn watching the sky, she usually found some random place to sit and think but today was anything but random. Clearly she came to the roof with purpose because she clearly intended to be there hinted by the fact that she brought an umbrella. She continued to watch the sky as if to expect something to happen, but today she wasn't just watching the sky she was feeling it. She had already been informed of the situation and now she was feeling the air around her, a sense of foreboding flooded in from the cold region of Vintermyr confirming to her the need for urgency. She stood up taking her umbrella with her just as the rain began to fall, she began to walk to the edge of the roof before taking a jump legs first off the building. Many would have questioned these actions but clearly Irina was more durable than she appeared landing on the ground with her legs acting as shock absorbers.

Entering the building through the front door though she was clearing in the building earlier given how she received the notice, she took in the site of what few had gathered already. Of course Kiru was already present as given away by the rain as well as her good "friend" Itazura who clearly didn't sense the tension in the air as well as someone she only recognized by information she had collected as Desirée. Walking over to where Itazura was playing his little games with Kiru she tapped a finger on his head with a little bit of force at least make him feel like a pebble had been thrown at him. "Enough of your games Pip, this isn't the time for that." She spoke sternly using a new nickname to describe him.

Jiyu almost always seemed to be going out on some mission or quest that took her to some distant adventurous land. Often times, tracking her down was an extremely difficult task that proved near impossible unless she had apprised the person of her wear about's, they were likely not going to find her or get any messages through to her. Even Makoto? Had an extremely limited ability to find her adoptive parental figure, this time she had told Kiru she had no idea how to reach the wind user, that she had gone out on some mission grouping that may last a few weeks a couple of days before. The kitsune had mentioned that Kazehime had left several days ago, so if they got lucky she would return on her own in a few days, but she certainly wouldn't be back that day as Jiyu had no reason to hurry home. If Black Rose should have learned anything by now? It was the fact the Inugami was an exceptionally free spirit, tied to the guild but not necessarily the land it was built upon often even going on trips to other countries or far off land forms, jumping portals to other planets.

Makoto was sitting with the guild, even though she would likely not be going on this treacherous journey considering the fact she was not done studying magic yet, she just wasn't really strong enough to go yet. Though Jiyu had been the one teaching her. Desiree was the first to respond to Kiru's summon, with Kiwi her little floating octopus plant thingy. "Kiwi!" the child twin tailed fox reached out her hands from where she sat on top of the bar, making grabby hands towards the floating creature than motioning to her lap. Clearly or maybe not so clearly? Koto wanted to use Kiwi as a sort of stuffed animal while listening to Kiru explain everything that was going on. Honestly, she was getting kinda sad that they would leave her behind when it came time to go on this mission.

Fuzzy ears flicked upwards listening the noises of Rose Garden shocked with how silent everything seemed to be today when normally it was a rambunctious place. The wind user had finished up her missions early without sending any word of this back to the guild, simply deciding to start the journey home even though she could teleport there without any trouble. At the moment she was spending much of her time wondering where the animal ears on her head had come from when she used to sport elfin ones, these looked better on her, but the wavy haired child wondered immensely where they came from. Normally she consciously thought about changing some feature of herself but she didn't at all think about changing her ears this time, they just changed, when she thought about it her tail had changed slightly too, becoming more wolf or dog like than the foxy bush it had turned into when she took child form initially. Were these signs she would soon have the energy to return to an adult form or something? Like god puberty for a twenty some year old or something?

"Whats going on?" the word's spoke into the air as the wind swirled on the spot beside Makoto on the bar and the wind witch appeared from within its confines, dust coming together in order to form the blonde haired girl. Her white spaghetti strap dress fluttered slightly as she finally jumped from the bar counter to the floor. "Look spooked, the lot of you." the wind user giggled it out, putting Night Hunt on the counter as she twirled, tail wagging. "I'm hungry, anyone got any food since it smells like the kitchen is closed." seriously what had happened to cause this? Everyone looked as if they were ready to go to war and she had just gotten home from being gone maybe a week at the most! Kazehime plopped into one of the seat's, looking around at everyone.

Post by Grema Fen 15th September 2017, 11:12 pm

Grema was deep asleep the moment a beeping noise rang out in her home. And again. And again. The beeping noise was even increasing in sound, yet still, the cyborg did not awaken even as the noise bounced off her metal walls.

But while Grema could not hear the noise due to her deep state of unconsciousness, her A.I M.A.I did not sleep while existing in her master's mechanical arm, thus was forced to listen to the beeping noise since she could hardly get up by herself and press the button to turn it off. The noise was built into the building to be loud and hard to reach just so a distracted Grema would be pushed to actually do something about it, thus it sounding loud and annoying.

The virtual assistant had a very large amount of patience, as per her programming, and could probably wait it out until her master was ready to wake up. But the problem with that was that the beeping noise signaled an iLac message, one M.A.I did not read to respect her master’s privacy. But she did know that the sender was an important person within Grema’s guild, so the artificial intelligence thought it would be best if the scientist read it promptly in case it was an emergency. Also, the noise was really starting to get on her nerves.

“My lady please wake up, a message awaits you,”
Mai said directly into Grema’s consciousness, causing the woman to bolt awake at the suddenness of it, then flinch at the loud noise she had just noticed. Pure anger at being awoken in such an unpleasant way went through her until logic caught up, making the woman grumble in annoyance. She then stretched, letting her hunch loosen up a bit, before getting up and trudging to the other side of the room, stumbling around various objects, to push the button to make the noise stop. “Ya, ya, thanks, M.A.I.” Grema grumbled with a yawn, lifting up her magitech arm to check the message “From Kiru? Ugh, it's in the middle of the night cant this wait a few hours?”

    “It’s in the afternoon, ma’am.”

“Oh. Well then, I’d best be off.” The genius said, now hoping she wasn’t late. She put on her pirate garb and half a mask to cover her artificial body parts and made her way toward Rose Garden in the near distance, and the Silvermoon Inn when she arrived in the town proper. Upon opening the door she was relieved to note that while there was a crowd, there weren't enough people who were doing things to count her as late. She nodded to the people she knew and those she had to acknowledge before making her way to a chair and sitting herself down and putting out her holographic database to see what information she had on the land of Vintermyr. She had never been there and would much prefer to have knowledge of it before going there proper.

    IF NOT NOW,

    ■ 346 WORDS ■

    WHEN?

Considering that it was the middle of the night, Hikari wasn't really expecting anyone to do, well anything. So imagine her surprise (and mild annoyance) when she received a message from a member of Black Rose, that she had yet to meet actually. From the bed she was temporarily occupying, she lifted herself up and grabbed an umbrella, as the rain hit the roof she was under almost in a hypnotizing pattern.

Rose Garden was eerily silent on this night. It was as if life had ceased and no one inhabited the usually bustling city. It was quite nice, to be able to hear yourself think for once as opposed to becoming near deaf with all the noise. It would be a perfect time to look for a dry spot and enjoy a book. But, that wasn't her purpose for getting up at the moment. With her heels stepping against the puddles in the pavement, the holy mage made her way over to the Silver Moon Inn, where this request asked her to meet.

When she saw the door had a "Closed" sign, she realized things were a bit more serious than she previously thought. She opened the door and the wind slowly shut it behind her. The red head closed her umbrella and surveyed the area. It seems there was quite a few mages there already so Hikari felt a bit awkward with how late she arrived. She spotted Aruzati who was just poked in the head by a girl with fiery red hair, as well as two newer members she still hadn't met, as well as Jiyu who seemed to have recently arrived as well. Walking over to a table quietly, the holy mage would yawn as she sat herself down and started leaning on her hand, with her arm against the table. She would gently close her eyes, still paying attention to what was being said around her despite looking asleep. She just needed a few more minutes so that she could function just a tiny bit better for whatever they were doing.

THE GLACIAL TEARS | GUILDSCALE JOB Empty Re: THE GLACIAL TEARS | GUILDSCALE JOB

Post by Cielle 20th October 2017, 8:41 pm

Paper sat bent on ruffled sheets, the words hardly piercing Shade’s ability to care. Busy dealing with instabilities within her realm the young looking woman belatedly realized it’d been some time since she saw her love and could only imagine what he’d gotten up to or where he might be at this time. She’d spent the past few days trying to find a glimpse all for naught – whether bad timing or not remained to be seen – and thus she found herself unable to care about much at all. Glazed purple orbs stared at the paper as if hoping it might jump to life in an upbeat dance number and yet a small breeze from the cracked open window merely caused it to flutter as half-heartedly as she felt.

”You shouldn’t waste time moping,” a deep female voice pierced the silence, causing the pale girl to huff in annoyance at its matter-of-fact tone, ”there are more important matters at hand.”

Eyes cast a withering gaze at the tall, black fox, its red irises boring into her curled up form from the floor. Red claws remained dull, the moon cast behind clouds this night as the beast laid on the ground far too relaxed for its master’s liking. In other times the white haired girl often sought comfort in the beast’s dark red mane, but now she had half a mind to strike the beast with one of her plush friends. Already Shade knew her guardian Amarylis didn’t speak about the letter nor her personal wishes.

Yet the guardian spoke about the letter, always keen to use things as she saw fit. An admirable trait Shade often appreciated and yet right now, in her stupor wanted nothing more than for it to evaporate. A low growl emitted from the beast’s chest and she could hear the stirring hints of the hidden dragon in Amarylis’ annoyance.

Once again the summoner’s eyes turned to the paper as it sat forlornly on her bed, alone in a spot usually bathed in delicious moonlight and now left in the shadows of a lightless stage. A thought began to brew however, the frown smoothing out into a considering notion: he loved the guild. Saw them as a home. Would he ignore the summons? Would he be there perchance? The small flicker of hope ignited warmly in her chest as she donned her some of her usual travel gear, adding a few layers to avoid outright cold. Ever since meeting him, Shade began to experience the world proper again and sometimes felt the sting of a chill or the burn of the sun in ways she’d long forgotten. Staring into a mirror, she’d noted other, smaller changes that almost went amiss…though for now she set aside those thoughts.

Water smacked into her jacket audibly, a rhythm added to the sounds of her heart as the girl’s walking speed moved into a near jog. She couldn’t quite convince herself to run, but at the same time hardly wanted to dither outside, forgoing even one of her usual companions stuffed in the crook of her arm. Besides the summoner hardly cared for the denizens’ plush forms when they were soggy.

By the time she reached the guild however the girl’s clothes felt soggy, something she ignored as she opened the door and noted each face. Disappointment caused a frown: she only really recognized two faces and they weren’t quite the ones she’d been hoping to see. An equally soggy fox head-butted Shade’s hip, forcing her inside so the beast could finally escape the rainfall as well. ”Sorry, couldn’t find my umbrella,” she offered as a pouty greeting, deciding now that they were there, there was little point to leave. Amarylis could have her way this time and they’d make use of this Vintermyr forest.

Post by Morrigan 10th November 2017, 9:38 am

It was just another night for the guild. Another usual day, as the skies cloud with darkness, a blanket of gray clouds an omen of rain and good fortune or bad tidings. Haley reads the words in the book she had recently accquired. Ever since she laid her eyes on the book it became an addiction, a need and a want. It locked her of her magic, the one she previously used, but it gave much more as she studied the stories and chapters like it was the key to an unsolved puzzle. However, her reading was interrupted by a panicked sound. The few customers who remained during the wee hour were chased out like stray dogs and the sound of wooden scraping against wood ringed in Haley's ears as the mage finally looked up.

Admittedly that looked fast, having all the tables pushed into the center. Haley watches the urgent looking enforcer of taxes begin sending out letters at phenomenal speeds, before the rain settled in as Haley received one despite their close distance. Haley leaps over the counter, joining the others who arrived soon and quickly. There were those she knew, and some she did not, but the look in the theirs and how the fate lines connect to them, they speak of a bond known as Black Rose. The mage wonders about each other of them, their skills, capabilities and name. Who they were in the past mattered not to Haley for now, for the urgent matter of Kiru's stood firm in first place. There was trouble brewing like a potion, and just like the potion, one thing could cause the matter to blow up immediately. The girl takes on a brave face as the book returns to her hands. Haley was honestly, afraid of the unknown.

THE GLACIAL TEARS | GUILDSCALE JOB Empty Re: THE GLACIAL TEARS | GUILDSCALE JOB

Post by Kiru 11th November 2017, 5:30 pm

Kiru barely flinched when the guild members entered the hall. She was far too invested on the current task at hand. Her cyan gaze continued to mull over the map, thinking.. Planning, strategizing. As far as she knew, they had only one entry way into Vintermyr. A small pass going through the regions bordering mountains. Easy spot for an ambush, and based on what had been happening there, Kiru was confident one could occur if they weren’t too careful. The only lead they had right now about the current situation was based on what the locals were saying. They’d inquire to meet the guild members face to face, and Kiru was inclined to do just that. Hopefully they could hold out until they arrived however, Vintermyr wasn’t the closest region.

It wasn’t until Itazura finally revealed himself rudely by blocking the demon slayer’s view of the map that Kiru had realized other people had finally arrived. She stared at him for a moment with a cold serious gaze, and luckily Irina came in to voice the opinion she had been thinking. Kiru would then look up into the guildhall seeing all friendly faces of members of Black Rose. She looked at each and everyone of them individually, assessing the situation.

Desiree. A member of the Black Rose guild Kiru had yet to meet face to face with. She knew little about the woman other than the fact she had recently taken apprenticeship under Jiyu, and that she had been a popular pop star. Sher was curious to know her magic, but Kiru could sense the aura from her to be equal in strength to her own, so Kiru confident she could hold her own.

Itazura. An older member, and a part of the Yokai family. The demon slayer had served on a few jobs with the weasel Yokai and new a decent amount about him. He was mischievous, but usually had good intentions.

Irina. A hot tempered red haired mage who has quite the reputation within the guild. Mostly for her ‘honest’ and somewhat *painful* expressive behaviour. She was quite skilled in magic, and Kiru had also served multiple missions with her. Although somewhat mysterious. Kiru suspected she was hiding something personal about herself, but it was really never relevant enough to bring up.

Jiyu. Jiyu was a peculiar sort. She joined sometime after the demon slayer herself did, and had undergone several changes since then. Even so, she managed to rise up the ranks fast and prove herself time and time again. However, Kiru had an odd relationship with the wind mage. She had been deathly afraid of the demon slayer simply because of her magical status. She wasn’t sure if that was still the case though.

Grema. A new member that Kiru knew very little about. Other than the fact that she was a cyborg, that was pretty much all the demon slayer had known about her. Kiru would probably need to do more research on her, but the demon slayer did know she was trusted among a few others and that was good enough for her. Kiru was in fact interested to know her story, however. She had never seen a cyborg before and was curious to know if her condition was magic assisted or completely technological.

Hikari. Another Black Rose guildie that the demon slayer had little knowledge on but did know she had been here for a while now. The aura from her was somewhat similar to Kiru’s but she knew they weren’t the same. She suspected the girl used holy magic of some sort however.

Shade. Shade was a girl Kiru had known from her earliest days in Black Rose. She was, in fact, the woman who Kiru did her first job with. Back in those days, Black Rose was still situated on Levante. The two mages took down a major illegal trading ring. Shade wasn’t around as much anymore, not that Kiru had seen anyways. But she still remembered her magic. She had the ability to make her dolls come to life into terrifying monsters. A memory that even now stuck in Kiru’s mind.

Haley. An alchemist if Kiru’s mind served her correctly the girl was quite fond of brewing potions, but she was equally skilled with her own magic. The Demon Slayer believed she had made use of summoning magic recently with a magical book. She wasn’t aware of the book’s history or properties. Nonetheless the woman still seemed to be well versed in magic.

“I don’t understand…” Kiru finally said, staring down at the map. The look on her face displayed a mixture of anger and confusion. “Why would they do something like this? What happened there to cause this…” Kiru then looked back up to her guild. Giving them all a cold glance she gritted her teeth.

“Now I know many of you don’t know the situation yet, so allow me to explain. For unknown reasons, recently the region of Vintermyr has come under siege by monsters of magical descent.” She said abruptly. Staring all of them down with her cold gaze. “We do not know why these monsters have suddenly appeared, but we do know they are causing major destruction to the forest and its inhabitants. As the guild sworn to protect the locals, it is our duty to investigate, protect, and stop this threat from spreading any further. I know many of you are skilled in combat, but I will not ask you to dive head first into this threat without your consent. This is why I must know now who intends on helping me put an end to these attacks…”

    Desirée Blooms

    BLACK ROSE

Sitting at the table and mixing a small vial of green powder into her bottle of water, she turned and witnessed guild member after guild member coming through the doors in a rush. The majority of people she had never even seen before, and if she did, she never got to make a large impression. She only had spoke with Jiyu, Hikari, Haley, and Itazura- three of the four she had barely even got to know, and the rest she didn't even know their names. It was rather sad she did not get to branch out much into her guild, especially with the growth of her magic. She had a tight-knit circle, and some relationships could not even be remembered due to the new lack of her blue hair. For now it shone a radiant white, meeting her rump in a long and straightened style. It was a different yet beautiful change, the blue and green of her usual complexion that matched with Kiwi now being white and lime, definitely a shocking sight to some. She loved this change do to its reasoning, to break away from the Blooms family by all means. It was a permanent change, and it was definitely for the better.

Desirée took a sip of her chilled drink before slipping it into her bag once again, standing next to Kiru and the map that she was looking at. She took her iLac out and quickly took an overhead photo of this map, storing it in her photo gallery in a means to make sure that she would be prepared for what was yet to come. Her happy and energetic nature was rather dim tonight, along with the mood of what was going on at this time. The Ace explained in detail what was yet to come, as monsters were showing up and tormenting the area that was Vintermyr. She had ventured there once before with Jiyu, which was also present here, and her mire wolf was at home sleeping at the time. She mentioned that she needed consent of the members to dive into the quest that they would venture upon, and she certainly did not oblige in the slightest.

"It is absolutely horrific that monsters would tread upon Vintermyr, especially due to it being of Black Rose territory. I will help to the best of my ability, and I am absolutely willing to come along with you, Kiru." the rising star would tell the ace that stood next to her and the map with a serious face, which was far from the smile that was usually present. She meant business, something that she definitely knew when and when not to show maturity upon. Kiwi began to braid a section of her hair for something to do, while she began to watch the other members of Black Rose to see what their responses would be. She knew that they needed effort in order to fulfill this quest, and her mind was now set upon reaching that goal. If she had to do it alone she would, and hopefully that would not be the case for a young idol like herself.

    "From Chrysalis, I welcome thee."

The kamaitachi would let his gaze drift over to look and see who was behind him, despite already knowing who it was, he saw the familiar fiery haired goddess stand behind him. She seemed to be addressing him as 'Pip' today, which was fine by him, amusing. Despite what people thought he was very aware of the immense amount of tension that filled the room. And despite Irina saying it wasn't time for his games, he thought that it very much was. Everybody was so serious, looking like they were getting ready for the worst, grim expressions on mostly everybody. With a few exceptions including himself. It appeared as if a lot of people had started to gather, a few faces he knew, but others he only recognized, maybe seeing then around the guild hall here and there. And even the people he's talked to he doesn't know all their names, besides Irina, Kiru and Jiyu, but that's just because he's been around them more then anybody else here. He could attempt to try and remember some other's names, but he didn't really care, so he didn't. It didn't seem like that important of a thing to the henge yokai, which you think it would be, being an ace and all. But he isn't a responsible person, as mostly everybody, if not everybody should be aware of, so yeah.
After a while he pushed himself off the table, letting the Ace of Diamonds be able to continue to look at her paperwork. Most of which the young looking boy couldn't read, considering his major illiteracy. Only knowing some basic written words, but for the most part the Fiore alphabet was strange, foreign and unfamiliar to the itachi. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and looked at the gathering of Black Rose guild members that had made themselves comfortable or whatever, in the lobby of the Inn. "Yeah I'm hungry too" the weasel agreed with Jiyu, a smile on his expression, though this was completely normal for the weasel as he was almost always hungry. He removed his hands from his pockets, shortly after putting them in there, to stretch his arms up towards the ceiling. As he stretched up his arms he went on his toes, holding this for a few seconds before resuming a relatively normal position. He turned his head back towards the two-toned slayer, looking at her as she spoke. So that's what all the super serious stuff was about, he didn't bother to look into anything, figuring someone would tell him whats going on, and that appears to be true.

Irina looked over the map once Itazura had moved out of the way running a finger around the borders of Vintermyr. "I think our plan of action should be to separate into teams, and on top of that have someone in each team capable of providing heat as it imperative when entering cold climates." Irina voiced her opinion as she started counting the amount of people present at the meeting. "I think we have enough for two to three teams, if we spread out any thinner we would be putting ourselves at too much risk." She looked at the rest of the members and frowned a tad bit, there weren't very many that could take up a leadership role for this mission, it would have been easy to just say that they aces would be leaders but Irina didn't trust Itazura to get the job done given his personality. "Me and Kiru will take up leadership of two teams we will need a third and no Pip can't be one, I don't want him pranking us to go have dinner somewhere." She gave Ita the glare of death as he went on about being hungry and then promptly landed a fist on the top of his head knowing that he probably would volunteer just to bug her. Looking back at the map she placed a hand on her chin as she looked over the ground they would need to cover, true it may be that they could simply make due with just two teams bit three teams would allow them to cover ground faster. "Does anyone else have any input?" She asked look over the rest of the guild members, she started to get ideas on witnessing the other members in action even though the situation was quite tense.

Jiyu had always been the strange sort no matter where she went during the life she had lived so far. When she had been a child living in peace village? The weirdness had been the fact she was unknowingly a sealed half demon living as a human girl, yet still retaining the canine instincts and behaviors that made no sense since she appeared to be human. After that stage on life, dealing with the oddity she was there and how she was being pushed to the side for the future she didn't want to happen? Becoming a run away made her even more of some strange side show! As a village girl her behaviors and extra skill sets had just seemed cute or happen chance. When she was the little run away milling with rough and tumble sorts, getting into trouble sometimes. Clearly, her extra sensory skills, the advance nature of her base senses, the sharpness of her claws and the somewhat subtly above human agility and strength she had possessed, went into dangerously freakish. However, the demon blood she didn't know about had kept her alive until she could reach this point in her life. Jiyu was still not too fond of her current state making her remember when she was a kid herself.

Straw blonde hair fell over her shoulders as she tilted her head forward listening, though she really wanted to just get some food, small stomach grumbling beneath her knee length white dress. "Knowing me, I'd end up there even if I didn't come with the main group." she had a way of ending up in the worst situations within earthland even when she didn't know they were going on. Jiyu by this point had pushed it off on her status as an Inugami drawing her to such events because their was an abundance of the negative energy she fed on for strength. "Only, my full magical strength is not under my control right now due to the reversion of my physical form my element only recognizes the abilities I actually had at this age, so I'm largely restricted to my archery skills." she scoffed it, seemingly embarrassed to admit her magic actually wasn't listening to her, but going into something like this, everyone needed to know. At least it was clear now why she had been taking night hunt with her everywhere she went again, when she had stopped leaning on it sometime as a late B rank.

Luckily, as Desiree had seen before, the wind user was an exceptional archer, very capable of fighting with just that weapon if she had to. "I could take the third group, we can be mostly comprised of those with 'sensory' specialties, go in first to better scope out whats going on, so we can come up with a better plan of attack. I have hearing and smell covered, but I need someone else to focus on sight I am a dog after all, than we'll need someone to cover us so we can focus on just collecting information to bring back to the other two teams. Than once the fighting starts we can slip to a support role." at this point, Jiyu looked like she was in some sort of pain after she spoke, curling in on herself as her hair turned black again and she struggled to activate her shapeshifting with the limited energy she had.

Luckily, the female managed to take her canine form once more, but it was far smaller than it had been seem before, only about two feet tall even though she resembled some sort of wolf dog hybrid or something mixed with some breed of husky. "I'll be much more effective in this form at least for scouting." she than took night hunt and padded over to desiree offering to let her apprentice carry her weapon for now, she needed to bring it with but clearly in her canine form she wasn't capable of carrying it.
