Eve blew out a breath of frustration when she saw how packed the crowd was in Rose Garden.  Although she had tried to be a bit early to avoid any rush hour crowds, a certain someone... "Why are you glaring at me like that, Soup?" the naiad standing next to her questioned, one eyebrow of hers raised slightly.  "Maybe because you took seventy years to get ready and if you hadn't, we could be finished with this passport business by now!"  The mage scowled slightly as she shook her head, trying to dissipate the anger that was coiling rapidly inside her.  Do not lash out at Delta.  Do not lash out at Delta, she commanded, but then more words flew out of the naiad's mouth, making it plenty difficult.

"Maybe if you just already had gotten a passport the last time we were in Rose Garden for that job, none of this business would even be necessary and I wouldn't have to rise at 8am on a Saturday morning to wait four hours in line," the sprite replied smartly, and Eve just shook her head.  "I'm gonna go..." she muttered, shoving roughly deeper into the crowd.  "Go?  Go where?  Eve, is that even legal?" Delta asked in a louder and louder tone as the violet haired girl threatened to disappear in the sea of people.  The naiad finally gave up and excused herself from the line; she already had a passport, so it if it wasn't for Eve's sake she wouldn't wait.

The girl had decided that she was fairly done with this jibber jabber and nonsense of waiting about and making no progress.  Shoving through the mob seemed to be what most other people were doing, so... when in [/s]Rome, do as Romans do [/s]Fiore, do as Fiorians do, right?  She squeezed through all the tiny cracks she could, and it was working until she tripped over a girl with long, brown hair who was probably a bit shorter than Eve.  It was difficult to tell, though, and it wasn't her focus anyways.  "Aah, I'm sorry!" the violet haired mage said, reaching out a hand to help her up if it was needed.

Ah Rose Garden, this was yet another place Strawberry was tasked to go to, yet never seen before. Her natural instinct... If you could even say robots had instincts... Was to go check out the sights available to her. However, this time the maid knew her goal, being sure not to wander off like she did last time.

Ugh... Last time I arrived almost two hours late! Sorry, Rose Garden, but I can't sightsee...

Strawberry almost let out a sigh, should that also be possible for her. But not dwelling on the past job she took with her guild mate and that one random mage, the woman made in metal stepped out to see the longest line she'd ever seen... Ever. This didn't bring her to roll her eyes, give an exhaspirated sigh, or do anything of the sort to signal annoyance. Instead she just simply got in line, pressing a button on both of her ears as music started playing into them, not loud enough for anyone to hear. A pseudo ear bud system, if you will. This allowed for the time to easily fly by, getting far into the line without any real effort. Along with this, Strawberry wasn't able to hear the voices of those giving her strange looks, asking about why a woman in a maid's uniform is going through the streets like it's nothing. Why wasn't she wearing casual clothes? Things of that sort.

Then it occured - someone bumped into her, tripping herself in the process. She seemed to quickly recover however, then offer Strawberry her hand. However the robot just cocked her head, wondering why as she hadn't budged a bit. The heavy metal woman wouldn't lose her sturdiness over just a simple bump. However, the first thing that registered was that this woman was offering her hand to shake or something along the lines of formalities, so that's what strawberry percisely began doing.

Pressing the button on her ears again, Eve would find the chilling metal grasp soon meet her hand, giving one quick shake and then retreating to its owner. Then the maid proceeded to bow her head, looking at the ground as she introduced herself.

"I am Strawberry, a loyal maid and servant. What might I call you? Lady, Madame, Young Mistress? Or might I tag the title along with a name? Surname or first?"

Eve grinned at the other woman before giving it a hearty shake.  The brunette seemed to drop it quickly as compared to, well, a normal handshake.  It probably had nothing to do with her metallic nature and more with... er, a stand-offish nature?  The red eyed mage had no idea yet of anything about this other woman.  But then, hey!  She introduced herself; that partially remedied the situation of her ignorance.  "Hello, Strawberry, Loyal Maid and Servant!" she greeted cheerfully.  "Pay no attention to the naysayers around us," she confided in a tone anything but a whisper, and some nearby onlookers flinched back.  "Your outfit is very lovely!"  She herself happened to be wearing ordinary street clothes, but that was a less common occurrence than usual so Eve sympathized with Strawberry.  ...not that any sympathy was necessary; the maiden was apparently quite fine, and not upset at all.  The mage was honestly glad that she hadn't been knocked over by their collision.

"Oh yes, and my name is-"

"SOUUUUP!"  A lithe figure, like a darting insect or something really, came dashing towards Eve and tackled her into a couple bystanders, taking advantage of the purple haired girl's surprise.  As she struggled to get up, muttering apologies the whole time, the newcomer addressed Strawberry with a delicacy and calm completely unlike her antics just before.  "This is Soap, although I call her Soup," the naiad introduced, "And I'm Delta.  We are attempting to collect a passport for the purpose of journeying to several continents in a venture to discover as many different varieties and species of strawberries as possible.  May I inquire as to what your name is?"  The nymph quit talking and went over to pick up Eve from the ground, where she had ceased struggling to get up.  After Delta apologized sincerely to those she had knocked over, she turned back to address the brunette.  "Also, would you like to get a passport with us?  Two heads is better than one," she remarked.  "Hey!  Did you just not count me?  And introduce me as Soap?" Eve grumbled under her breath, finally back on her feet.

Strawberry cocked her head to the side when Eve mentioned the others speaking of her outfit. The maid herself couldn't quite feel self-consciousness, as that is something that wasn't programmed into her like her other emotions. So instead, she stood their looking confused for as to what the naysayers had to... Well, say. But, she received a compliment in the end, to which she gave a giant smile, and a 'thank you' bow.

What occured next couldn't be described by the robot with words. Just as the girl across from her was going to introduce herself, a voice from afar yelled out what sounded like... Soup? And then came darting towards the two of them. With a step back, Strawberry wanted to fully avoid all possible collisons, and thankfully did.

This new entry began to dust off the situation as if the random tackle never even occured, and as such spoke smoothly and calmly, leaving Strawberry's face to be as blank as a slate, quite literally in fact. Her eyes - or more so screens - still emitted their natural faint light, not even noticable in daylight, however all color from the irises and pupils completely vanished, leaving only a white screen in its place. The color returned soon as she blinked, and the screens once again turned on to respond to the introduction.

"Your name is... Soap? (and I thought my name was strange)..."

The last part came out more as a murmur than an audible sentence. Afterwards, Delta as she introduced herself proceeded to give exposition as to why the two of them were standing in such a dreadfully long line to get a passport. To collect... Strawberries. Delta apparently couldn't hear when the maid introduced herself, which was justified due to the hundreds of people around the truo.

"Uh, right! If you were looking for a rare breed of strawberry, look no further than me!
Er..... That is to say...... My name is Strawberry. Glad to meet you both, Lady Delta and Lady Soap."

Strawberry bowed to each of them when she said their names. Delta then offered for Strawberry to get a passport with them, which was responded to with a nod by the cybernetic maid. Why did they think she was standing in the line in the first place? It wasn't like she was going to get up to the passport booth just to take a picture. But these thoughts never left more than her head. Strawberry saw Soap, as she now knew her as, recover and then act baffled with being referred to as Soap, as though that wasn't her name.

"Er... So... Your name ISN'T Soap?"

"Delta, if you hadn't interrupted me I would have told you her name was Strawberry," Eve grumbled after she saw that the brunette might have needlessly been forced to introduce herself again. "Why didn't you tell me her name was Strawberry? Don't you wish to collect strawberries?" the naiad muttered in a slightly chastising voice. Immediately Eve was set spluttering. "Do you even LISTEN to me?" she began to explode with annoyance when she shook her head roughly and turned back to their new acquaintance, who seemed at least mildly confused at this point. Probably, it was due to Delta's simultaneous stubbornness and incompetence at getting Eve's name right when it came to strangers.

"No, my name is Eve. E - V - E -" "Please do not mind her,
she is ashamed as her parents named her after a product designed to assist in cleansing the body along with the occasional building,"
Delta commended with a slight tint of exasperation leaking into her voice. "You just... let's just get our passports already!" The mage stomped away from her comrade as well as green eyed maiden; hopefully it wasn't too rude of her, although judging by Delta's murmuring the sprite was not impressed by her social skills. Hmph, as if the faerie could do any better.

"Evelyn Wensley. Independent guild, you wouldn't know it," she flashed a smile at the clerk who was overseeing the passport booth. One headshot and a decent amount of wasted ink later (the lightning mage realized how that she actually needed to learn how to spell her new address in Fiore right at some point) Eve emerged with a satisfied light in her eyes. "Okay, your turn Delta." There was no response, and the red eyed girl's brown scrunched up before she remembered that the naiad already had a passport from their brief stop in Rose Garden. "I already have acquired a-" "I remember," Eve sighed, turning to face the voice that had suddenly emanated from behind her. "Where did you go, anyways?" she wondered out loud.

"To fetch some ice cream of the artificial strawberry variety for our new lovely maid," Delta explained in a tone that told Eve the answer to her question should have been obvious. Holding out the dripping soft-serve cone as more proof, the faerie looked at the girl expectantly. "Okay, whatever. Just give it to her when she gets out then," Eve told her, and in response she received a rather scathing look. Geez, alright, she got it. Delta already knew. "We have to go babysit a little boy in sixteen minutes," the sprite added as she stared at the dessert dripping onto the back of her hand and slowly creating a cold puddle.

    "What??"

This duo was confusing to say the least, and Strawberry has dealt with confusing before. These two were just on a completely different level, one that wasn't even close to those that Strawberry had experience with. The maid swore she could feel exhausted at the two... And that physically wasn't possible.

    "A-Alright, Lady Soap."

Strawberry was in no way trying to provoke or taunt the violet-haired girl, instead she just legitemately thought her name was Soap. She did seem very defensive when the name was brought up, and Delta did seem like a much more reasonable person than so-called Soap was. So, she went with Delta's story. That made sense for someone with as strange of a name as Soap be defensive about it.

Holding her hands together and walking towards the counter once Eve - or rather Soap - was done, Strawberry began telling her information, or rather the information that her guild told her to say. She was in fact in a Dark Guild, so her fellow guild mates said to give the booth member the false alignement of Guildless - wandering mage. She didn't visibly have a guild tattoo, as they only appear on a very very select occasion.

An occasion that she for some reason couldn't be avoided.

    "My name is Strawberry... Yes...
Strawberry like the fruit... No I don't have a last name... Can you please stop making fun of my name!? Thank you... I don't belong to any guild, as I'm a wandering mage and maid looking for work. Thank you!"

The maid closed her eyes and bowed, and stepped into the booth to take a picture. Opening her eyes, the flash of the camera appeared before her, and then a brutal thought appeared in her head.

    SHE JUST OPENED HER EYES!!!

Her eyes now shown as the startup screen of her guild tattoo, and they just took a picture of it! She rushed out, to greet the lady at the counter that gave her her passport. Thankfully the lady didn't pay much attention to her photo, as the guild mark of Grim Heresy shown all too well in her eyes. By now the mark faded back into regular pupil and irises, so the maid was safe.

Turning around again, she saw the ice cream and the duo from before. Apparently it was for her, but being a robot Strawberry didn't exactly... Eat. So now she had to find a way to break this to Delta

"Er... Not to sound rude, Lady Delta...
But I don't eat ice cream, or anything really. So uhm, I'll pass on your offer. Thanks anyways!"

Strawberry put the passport into one of her apron's pockets, then stepped out of the line. She had to admit the two acquantences were fun, but quite different as opposed to most humans. Perhaps that's what made them especially fun. Regardless, Strawberry parted with them after bidding the duo farewell.
