Red Velvet [Job/Dahau] Empty Red Velvet [Job/Dahau]

Post by Fair 7th July 2017, 3:32 am

    Job Details:
Job Title: Where is the Love?

    Rank: S

Player Requirements: S-Ranked Wizard(s) or Two A-Ranked Wizards. A-Ranked Wizards and above, ONLY.

Job Requirements: Thread Must Be 40 Posts. 350 Words per Post. Must Roll the Monster Dice at Least Four times.

Job Location: Earthland (Bellum), Crystal Town

    Job Description:
In Bellum, Magic is everything. If you're not born with it, you're treated like a second class citizen; probably a Waiter at the top of your career. The same is very much true for our client, who has recently lost his friend in a bad case of bullying. Several young Magi (wizards in Bellum); harassed his friend with Magic too the point where they accidentally killed him.

The Archmages in Crystal Town, didn't bother too take too this crime and ignored it. His friend was one of the unlucky 20% in Bellum born without Magic; as he is.

Knowing that it's only a matter of time before something happens to him; his family are all wizards, and treat him like worse than piss around his house.

He has written an International Job too Fiore; choosing between Seven and Fiore, since those two nations are said to have Magi as skilled as the ones from Bellum. Eventually, he receives a reply from you and your entourage from Fiore.

He wishes you to escort him to the border of Pergrande, but you must make it past Bellum Border Magi, who aren't going too just let you on by. However, there may be room for negotiation. As wizards, or "Magi" in their nation, they will be friendly towards you, and might think that your client is just one of your slaves or servants.

Although they will grow VERY suspicious, as Pergrande is THE most dangerous nation for wizards; eventually, they will deny you passage even if you try to smooth talk them "Magi to Magi". Best to find a way to sneak your client by, or use force.

The mountainous border is FILLED with gigantic magical barriers, and several floating outpost towers; with magnetic lacrima pushing the guard tower up off the ground. The mountain range is totally jam packed with S-Ranked Magical Barriers; and Patrols everywhere. Even if you make it past the initial group at the Border undetected; once in the mountain range, getting to Pergrande will be a task suited only for wizards born once a generation.

The color of a Bellum Magi's hooded, assassin like uniform is bright red.

    Enemies:

Weak - Magi Border Patrol Agent x10 - When you start getting near Bellum's borders into Pergrande; you will begin to see Magi Patrols walking around everywhere near the gigantic magical barriers Bellum has erected in the mountain ranges near Pergrande. These magi wear Assassin esque clothing; each of them having a hood raised; and donning a rather large magical staff with wings; and a lacrima crystal in it's center.

LACRIMA STAFFS AND MAGI BORDER PATROL AGENTS:
These Lacrima staffs can use the elements of Fire, Wind, Water, and Earth with ease. Creating huge A-Ranked spell effects with merely a wave of their staff. Roll a "Normal Dice" if it's above 3, you will be hit by whatever element they choose to assail their opponent with. Once they see what you use against them; they will use the element best suited to taking you down. Wizard to Wizard. They roll around in packs of at least 10 or more; be careful. That many A-Ranked wizards together is extremely dangerous. They go down in 3 hits of A-Ranked damage, or one hit of S-Ranked damage each.

Normal - Magi Border Sergeant x3 - These guys wear similar assassin like gear; except theirs is flecked with silver rivets and designs. They also wield the same Lacrima Staffs as their subordinate Agents.  They are extremely skilled however, at tactical fighting and also at melee hand to hand combat or using their Lacrima Staffs, as bo staff weapons. These Magi are amazing to behold on the field of battle.

    THE SERGEANTS:
They are identical in every way to the Agents, except they are immune to Illusion and Mind altering  effects, and take 3 hits of S-Ranked damage to go down.

Strong - The Magi Border Captain - The Captain of the borders of Bellum. This older Magi has seen more than most will ever forget. From old wars with Pergrande; to journies into Sin; he has done it all. He is no joke; and will end the job and mission right then and there; sending you clamped in Bellum's finest magical chains right back to the Magic Council's doorstep, back to Fiore where you came from. The Archmages of Bellum does not believe in killing fellow Magi (wizards), only regular humans, and monsters. So you will be safe after defeated if the Captain does manage to take you down; as the Magi serve the Archmages will without a second thought.

He has an Elvis like hairstyle, dark hair, and a thick beard. With piercing blue eyes.

The Captain is an extremely powerful Magi, wielding the extremely rare, and dangerous. Titan Magic. He can grow to the size of Godzilla, and attempt to crush you with ease. Although he will never do this unless an opponent uses a technique of huge magnitude (S or Above).

    THE CAPTAIN:
The Captain has four attacks. 'Endless Fist', 'Skyride', 'Crush', and 'True Titan Form'.

Endless Fist - Is when the Captain chooses a target at random; and stretches his arm like Makarov or Mister Fantastic. His fist will slam into an opponent, dealing S-Ranked damage and sending them sailing through the air. No matter where you run; the fist will chase you as far as he can see you or until he's interrupted by a teammate or something else. It has range only limited by what the Captain can see. He can do this with any limb.

Skylift Bomb - Roll a "Normal Dice" if it is above 3; the Captain will grab onto you by surprise. The Captain grabs onto you in a massive S-Ranked bear hug; and takes you on a lift into the skies, by stretching his legs from the ground upward endlessly. He goes so high; that the clouds begin to rush by you. If you are not S-Ranked with a spell effect active, or ready to cast that "Boosts Strength" you will not be able to out muscle him.

This will result in him retracting his legs; rapidly, bringing you above his head for a massive powerbomb. On the way down; wind begins to rip off of you in a vortex from speed. He powerbombs you back down into the mountain range for SS Ranked damage.

Crush - The Captain merely increases both of his fists to the size of school buses and stretches his arms like whips; swinging them everywhere wildly in a massive AOE barrage of giant, whipping hammer fists. Each hit will deal S-Ranked damage if struck. If you are below S-Rank, this will deal H-Ranked damage to you.

True Titan Form - The Captain is fed up. He grows to the size of half of Tenroujima Island, towering over everything. His attacks naturally become S-Ranked in this form; and his attacks deal Crushing damage equivalent to getting stepped on by King Kong. When you get the captain within 10 hits of defeat; he will use this mode.

The Captain takes 20 hits of A-Ranked damage, or 15 hits of S-Ranked damage to defeat.

Boss - Alerted Magi Border Captain - The Captain was somehow alerted to your presence early! He finds you in Bellum's enchanted border mountain range, and (Oh no!) he arrives with 10 Magi Border Patrol Agents to put you Fiore wizards in your place!

Reward: Extremely grateful for helping him escape from Bellum, he sends you a hefty reward from his new home in Pergrande. 100k Jewels.

Red Velvet [Job/Dahau] Empty Re: Red Velvet [Job/Dahau]

Desperate times called for desperate measures. Vana had accepted a mission with a man named Dahau from Savage Skull to ‘help’ another man from a foreign country, known as Bellum, get out of it. She had never been to said country, so she was going to have to actually travel there instead of using her warp points. The idea that she would have to ride public transport vehicles disgusted her. Ride a bus for eight hours with forty five other people? No thanks. But, she was having a financial crisis. Due to the fact that she was in dire need of money, she had agreed to help someone, which was very much unlike herself. But she was only doing it for the money anyways, so that’s what stopped her from slapping herself.

But this Dahau person...she didn’t know him but the name sounded pretty damn shady. Worse comes to worst he turns out to be some ugly druggie who can’t use magic and fucks everything up for her. That would not give her trouble. To be honest, she would not hesitate to just wipe him out first if it came to that. It just so happened that the job was ranked ‘S’ and she could not take it alone and luckily the guy had accepted it as well, so the slots were filled. Unless other people wanted to join, but Vana didn’t really like the idea of that. She would rather work alone that with a partner, but since the job required one, she allowed one, and only one.

Their meeting place was at the border of Fiore, a sort of landmark there indicated it was the point. Said place was close to Clover Town, so it was easy for Vana to teleport herself to the warp point she had placed there. Of course she would still have to wait for her partner who was probably going to take a while since she could only imagine him traveling here with some form of public transport. This gave her time to look around the checkpoint. To be specific, she didn’t have a warp point placed exactly here. She had one in the town, which was close to the Blue Pegasus guild. So she had to walk to this place from her portal. The funny thing was, the landmark was shaped like a huge dildo. What a crease. Maybe it was a dildo for the goddesses. The thought made her chuckle as she sat at one of the stone benches around the landmark.

The whole place was crowded with hawkers and a bunch of people sitting around, probably waiting to travel as well. Bellum was a million miles away, pretty much at the other end of the continent, so the journey required not less than a ship. The public ships were gigantic, not even joking. Vana wondered how they steered such huge things in the sky. Then again, they used even bigger ships to drop bombs and shit back in the days. So it made sense. You see Vana never learnt anything in school, because she didn’t go to school. She learnt everything she knew by experience and self learning, hearing what others said and gathering knowledge on her own by reading and the like.

Eventually Dahau would arrive, and when he did he would find a grown woman wearing a very sophisticated outfit sporting giant horns on her head, almost finishing the cig she had lit a while ago. She would be sitting at the stone bench alone, because the look on her face that she always wore scared people away, not that she was complaining. She liked this.

    Guide:
    - I Can Do This (active): A very unique ability that she has learnt, that is the creation of warp points anywhere within the universe. The warp points on Earthland should be places she already has knowledge of. This gives her the power to not only save time during journeys, but she is also able to travel in and out of battle using her warp points which are portals within the cosmos and can re-enter her dimension through a portal, such as behind her foe, etc. She is allowed to use this ability once in 3 posts in a battle and the duration of her leave is no more than a single post. However, she must return to this dimension within 60 m of her previous location.

Red Velvet [Job/Dahau] Empty Re: Red Velvet [Job/Dahau]

Post by Godlike Frederik 13th July 2017, 3:25 am

A rather odd request has found its way into the dark community of the magical world. Not that it was such strange feat for dark mages to find a job opportunity hanging from their board. But rather that this time the job was about helping and escorting a young man from Bellum to the border of Pergrande. And considering that most jobs the dark mages do were either assassinations, robbery or other vile work, then yes this was an oddity. But be that as it may, even dark mages needed a little extra money sometimes especially if you are a mage coming from the darkest of guilds, Savage Skull. In that case every penny was important, not so much as for yourself, but for the guild as well. Since it seemed that the dark guild was trapped into an never-ending war against Fiore and its legal guilds.

Even Dahau couldn't escape that fate. Despite the fact that he was one of the top mages in Savage Skull and had more than enough underlings to do his dirty work. Even he himself had to go out sometimes and make some money for the guild. And besides, this was an international job with a rather high risk factor to be captured by forces from Pergrande itself. Also known as the anti-magic kingdom. There they saw mages as heretics, witches to be burned at the stake. But to be fair, the people lived a tough live in Pergrande. On one side they had a giant wall to protect them from the evil and vile monsters that lived in the realm beyond. Always at war against these against magical monstrosities. So you couldn't blame them for their hatred. On their other side they had Bellum a country where the mages were the ruling class and anyone without magical capabilities was considered a second class. Barely a person.

He wasn't going to do the job alone though, accompanying him on this ordeal was another mage from another guild. Grim Heresy, a kindred guild and as dark as it can be. Exchanges between the dark guilds didn't happen that often, mostly because it could easily start a war between their rather fragile 'alliance'. Well saying it is an actual alliance is a bit of an overstatement. The dark guilds enjoyed more a silent non-aggression pact than actually working together. And considering the fact that most dark mages were a rather treacherous bunch that more than once only looked out for themselves, and just easily betray each other, you could say that every time two dark mages of a different guild did the same job, that is a possibility to spark an all out war.

However that wasn't to Dahau's concern, his only problem with the situation was that he didn't know the woman. He only knew her name and her allegiance but nothing more. Meaning that she could just as easily be nothing but deadweight, yet another scoundrel he had to drag along while he did all the work. And he didn't like that, if Dahau went on a job he wanted to do it quickly without to much effort. And unknown factors like her could very well ruin that for him. She could be easily triggered and go berserk, or she could be a total sloth or worse... she could be cheerful.
Their meeting point was at the border of Fiore, or to be exact a transit location for international travel. As Bellum was a long way away form Fiore they had to travel per ship. And not just a normal one, airships. Those were the most recent development in public transportation. The airships for commercial travel were gigantic to say the least. They could easily fit over a thousand people in their hulls. And judging from the amount of people that were waiting around there would be around the same amount on their trip.

People came in all shapes and sizes, especially when you live in a magic filled world. There where brusk and muscled build mages, mercenaries carrying large swords. Families young and old and even the traditional clothed mages with a robe and hat complete. But it weren't only humans that came through this place, the vile and putrid stench of the hybrid races where here as well. Humanoids with animal like traits. Like Neko's and their cat ears and tails. They were no better than animals.
As Dahau looked around he scanned the area for any hint for his potential partner, according to the information he she had to be waiting close to the oddly shaped landmark. And had distinctive feature you couldn't miss, and knowing she was from Grim Heresy Dahau just assumed she must look like some sort of demon.

Standing near the stone, was a woman who just fits that entire description. She wore a rather formal attire and from her head where two large horns. Dahau approached, and immediately spoke up. 'You are from Grim Heresy i suppose? I figured from that rotten look on your face, honestly such a look is wasted on a pretty thing like you. Why don't you try a smile?'
