    DESTRUCTION CATALYST

    Description: Simple in execution, but devastating in theory. This magic focuses upon one thing: power. The user can channel raw magic power through their body, enhancing their physical side, while also channeling it outward into objects, environments, and people to cause an array of effects. One thing that remains unified about the spells used in this magic is that they are all destructive in nature. It is Black Magic for a reason, after all. This brand of magic requires stamina and willpower in order to harness that much energy at once and focus it, micromanage it into different things, instead of altering it into elemental spells or simple stat boosts.

    Cereza, being the hybrid she is, uses this magic copiously to bolster her already prodigious physical abilities, cast ranged destruction with the high chance of collateral damage without a way to determine friend from foe, and generally look like a badass. Her spells tend to disrupt the balance of nature, putting way too much power into her targets to cause natural disasters, cause localized explosions, and generally be as destructive as possible. She prefers to use her magic only when it will be most effective, so fighting one on one will not cause her to go all out unless you prove to be a fair challenge.

    Strengths:

    • This magic gives results quick, and is usually very messy. This means people who have to plan out their attacks are gonna HATE this mage.
    • This magic is nonspecific, unlike other types of magic, and covers many destructive avenues in its quest for overpowering everyone else.
    • Many of this magic's spells his AoE ranges and can be very destructive, even without buffs from equipment or other sources.


    Weaknesses:

    • There is no friendly fire switch. Whoever is in range is getting hurt.
    • This magic requires a lot of self-control, otherwise the mage could very well go on a killign spree without realizing it.
    • This magic is fairly useless against magic that can reverse damage, like healing and time magic, because it lacks DoT effects like poison and curses, preferring to do quick, explosive effects.
    • This magic tends to make the person using it unpopular, as it is a danger to everyone, and is considered Black Magic to the general public.

    Unique Abilities:

    Power Surge:
    This ability stems from the innate capacity of raw power stored in the user's body. Any spell or magical effect that damages the user causes a power surge in the user's body, making their next spell cast one Rank stronger, maxing at H Rank. This ability stacks, so tanking two hits before casting a spell boosts the effect of the user's next spell by two and so on. It cannot be used to boost two spells.
    Energy Fulcrum:
    Using their bodies and their naturally empowered physique as a conduit for potential energy, they are capable of storing excess energy from things like attacks or movement into themselves. They can then use that stored potential energy to boost their physical power in all sorts of ways, from enhanced strength, dexterity, or reflexes to boosted attacks. For each Rank of damage equal to or greater than their own Rank they suffer, or each Rank spell they use that involves movement equal to or greater than their current Rank,
    they gain an extra Rank of damage or some form of movement/knockback effect on a spell.
    This effect stacks, but can only be used on one spell at a time. Effects are capped at H Rank
