Ass-kicking time. [Job w/ Jozuma and Cimba]

Post by Hero Yamamoto on 9th June 2017, 2:34 pm

    The Job:

Job Title: Rise of the Syndicate
    Rank: A
Player Requirements: At least two A rank wizards or equivalent
Job Requirements: 50 posts of 500 words each. Every executive must be rolled and defeated before job can be completed.
    Job Location: Crescent Island
Job Description: Help us!!! Recently a new dark guild has risen with boasts of incredible power and resources! They call themselves Syndicate, after a mighty and terrifying guild from over a century past, and have declared war against the magic council, the king of fiore, and all legal guilds. Their first target is Crescent Island, a resort island full of civilians and peaceful people, with no defense of its own! They are seeking to send a message to the guilds of just what they are capable of. Please, drive these savages away from our shores and save our people!

    Enemies:
Weak: Low rank soldiers of the guild, these punks wear no armor but are naturally tough and resilient. They require  2 B ranks worth of damage to go down and deal  rank damage with their swords. They usually appear in packs of about twenty and there are an estimated total of four hundred of them roaming around the island.

Normal: Low rank executives. Each normal monster roll you choose one that shows up. These mages range from simple B rank mages up to S. Once all are defeated, if you roll another normal monster, you may choose either a swarm of weak opponents or one strong monster.

Dellinger Donquixote, a B rank leg mage. Leg mage, you think, that doesn't sound hard. You would be surprised. Dellingers specialty is the ability to strengthen his legs by ridiculous amounts. Capable of generating two tons worth of force with one kick at this point, he is fast, can headbutt opponents and skewer them with his horns by leaping headfirst at them, and his legs are just naturally powerful. Requires 4 B ranks worth of damage to be defeated.
    Spoiler:

Lao G Donquixote, an A rank pain mage. He may not be much to look at but Lao G is considered to be one of the most dangerous martial artists in the world, and age has only made him better. Surprisingly fast, shockingly strong, and able to make others feel pain, either his own or to relive a pain they knew in the past, this old man is guaranteed to be a pain in the ass. Pun intended. Requires two A ranks worth damage to defeat.
    Spoiler:

Broly the headsman, an S rank splitter mage. On his way to being a top executive, Broly is a threat to almost any one. His axe can split anything, opponents, spells, people, he does not care. Perhaps most annoying however is his ability to split himself to dodge attacks. Add in his ridiculous physical strength and his extremely high stamina and he is a force to be reckoned with. Requires 4 S ranks worth of damage to be defeated.
    Spoiler:
    His axe
    Spoiler:

Gladius Donquixote, an A rank rupture mage. Unlike the other executives Gladius is accompanied by fifty weak ranked soldiers, being the commander of those forces. Besides being able to make the magic within others, and items, explode he also carries on his wrists two small launchers. These launchers are armed with magically replicating magical crystals which he can fire at targets and make explode. Capable of hitting targets up to five hundred feet away with pin point accuracy, the crystals themselves deal D rank damage but can be fired twenty in one post, ten from each wrist, each turn. It requires two 4 A ranks worth of damage to defeat him.
    Spoiler:

Machvice Donquixote, an S rank weight mage. Weight magic may not sound tough to the unaware, but that's what Machvise likes. He is capable of controlling his own weight, able to make himself weigh nothing in order to reach incredible heights with one jump, and then able to reach a maximum weight of five hundred thousand pounds, more than enough to flatten almost any opponents, and the next three or four blocks around them. He can also change the weight of inanimate objects, individual body parts, carries around a massive, self repairing shield, and is an accomplished sumo wrestler. His shield can take one H ranks worth of damage a turn before being made useless for the rest of the round and Machvise himself requires two S ranks worth of damage.
    Spoiler:

Strong: Mid rank executives. When you roll this choose one of the four provided and do combat with them. Once defeated you do not have to face them again and if you roll a strong after defeating all four you may choose any other executive.

Diamante Donquixote, an S rank flap wizard. His unique magic allows him to turn anything into a cloth or tissue paper, which can be rehardened and reused later on. While this may sound pointless the possibilities are endless. Throw confetti into the air, which then hardens into spiked balls dropping on your opponent. Turn a sailing ship into a flapping piece of paper long enough to place it over your opponents head and then drop it. Turn your cape into an iron shield. Even change your own body! Prefering the up close and personal touch of a sword, opponents should be wary of this opponent. Requires 4 S ranks worth of damage to be taken down.
    Spoiler:

Pica Donquixote, an S rank stone mage of considerable size and power. Standing in at ten feet tall, this soprano voiced behemoth is as capable with his gigantic sword as he is with his magic of the stones. Capable of shaping stone into anything he wishes, using it as spears from the ground, forming gigantic replicas of himself, or even blending into the stone entirely this is one nasty, and tough, customer to deal with. Requires 4 S rank damage to defeat.
    Spoiler:

Trebol Donquixote, an S rank Sticky Mage. Sticky? Whats that? It is a goo, a nasty, foul smelling, highly explosive, goo. Trebol is made of the stuff, from his head, constantly dripping snot, to his feet, constantly leaving a trail. Perhaps the most difficult of the executives, Trebol is almost immune to all physical attacks, this includes iron, water, wind, or the piercing effects of light and shadow type attacks. Add to this his ungodly strength, able to lift small houses with ease, and his ability to increase the amount of goo in the area, thus increasing his own size, he will be a very difficult opponent to hurt. Requires 4 S rank damage to defeat, approach with caution.
    Spoiler:

Vergo Donquixote, an S rank Density mage. Capable of changing the density of his own body at will, Vergo will prove quite the challenge to all. Capable of changing his skin from a sword shattering black carbon, which increases his strength exponentially, to becoming just a wisp in the wind, capable of ignoring all but wind type attacks, the most difficult part of this opponent will just be harming him. Requires 4 S rank damage to defeat.
    Spoiler:
Boss: Top tier executive. The man in charge of this whole Shindig, the bossman himself, Donquixote Doflamingo, an SS ranked string wizard capable of creating clones made from string, binding his opponents, stitching his wounds, controlling the fallen, or simply slicing up targets. He requires a total of 3 H rank damage to be defeated and once he is rolled all executives that have not yet been defeated will also appear to join him. For once hope you DONT get the boss roll early on.
    Spoiler:

Reward: Double A rank exp and 100k jewels

Re: Ass-kicking time. [Job w/ Jozuma and Cimba]

Post by Jozuma on 13th June 2017, 8:44 am

Jozuma left the Wakusei Portals with Hero to head for the docks for their mission, Jozuma was wearing his cloak as usual. On the way Hero explained the situation to Jozuma as it currently was. One of the most infamous dark guilds in the world, The Sydicate, have declared war against the magic council, the king of Fiore, and all legal guilds. Their first act of war was to attack the resort island of Crescent Island to make example to the world if they dare challenge them. As such case Hero asked Jozuma to accompany him on this mission both as assistance and a test of Jozuma's resolve to become Hero's mentee. This daunted on Jozuma as more than just a simple job, it was a borderline crisis that had to be prevented. This seemed a little over Jozuma's head but many lives were on the line and it was also his duty as a Hydra to to stop this dark guild so he couldn't allow himself to back down on this, besides he would have Hero with him in this fight.

Considering how serious this situation was Jozuma thought that perhaps they could use more help, more help means that more lives will be saved and a more successful mission, so he sent a letter back to Infinity Hydra addressed to his trusted friend and partner Poom. The letter explained the situation and emphasized that lives were at risk he would need Poom's help, this is what they have been training for. Jozuma hasn't seen Poom in a while, not since their job in Hargeon and they decided to go their separate ways to train in response to the tragic loss of their friend Haku'na, so hopefully he would get the letter and they could fight together once more. After Jozuma stopped by a town to write and send the letter he rejoined with Hero and they headed towards the docks.

At the docks Jozuma met with his companion Mona who he asked to meet him there and he decided to not take a boat as he remembered the terrible experience with his motion sickness the last time he was on a boat. Jozuma looked up at Hero and told him that he was going to take take an alternative path. "Yeah boats and me don't click very well I'm going to take a different way ok." Jozuma then jumped towards the ocean and the water froze under his feet. Mona waved at Hero before following Jozuma flying behind him. "See ya later big guy!" Jozuma started walking across the water towards Crescent Island, it would take a little longer than a boat but atleast he wouldn't have to deal with his motion sickness, Mona could heal it but the experience was still awful and he'd rather not deal with. On the way to the island across the ocean Jozuma took in the nice ocean breeze and the calls of the seagulls that passed him as he walked, it was quite pleasant like a calm before the inevitable storm. It was then that Calcifer spoke in Jozuma's head. "You sure you can do this?" Jozuma responded. "Doesn't matter if can I have to people are going to die if we don't step in." "Alright just remember if you're against the wall I'm taking over." "I know, don't worry I'm not going down that easily. Maybe we can get some food after this is done." "Mmm sounds good, also the island is coming up." Jozuma could see the island up ahead and he picked up into a sprint towards the beach.

Jozuma reached Crescent Island and finally stepped foot on the beach. It seemed that the dark guild hadn't arrived based on what he could hear but they could be inside. The resort look very extravagent with many lights and what seemed to be rides jutting out of the large building. The sun was now high in the sky bringing a pretty warm temperature on the island and palm trees and other foliage filled the inner parts of the island around the resort. Jozuma climbed a palm tree for a better view of the resort and after looking around for a bit  his eye caught the giant that was Hero. Jozuma jumped down from the palm tree and  he ran towards him with Mona following behind him on foot. Jozuma waved and called out to Hero as he got closer. "Hero over here!" When Jozuma rejoined with Hero he gave a quick report on his observations. "I haven't seen anything any signs of trouble yet though they might be inside already, if my partner got my letter he should get here soon."

It was almost a month since Poom had passed his B rank exam. He was mostly spending his time practising his staff forms, as they helped clear his mind, and strengthening his bonds with the shadow and darkness. He did not manage to go on any jobs, as he was afraid that his Dark Ego will go loose again and cause him trouble, so he mostly kept to himself, trying to tame the Ego.

That morning like every other Poom was doing his morning routine when he received a letter. It reminded him of the day he was called to do the exam by Ace of Infinity Hydra Wolfe. The letter was from Jozuma, his closest friend and guildmate. The letter was short, but it had plenty of information. Jozuma was calling Poom for assistance on a job. Jozuma and his mentor Hero Yamato were dealing with a dark guild called Syndicate. Syndicate's first target was Crescent Island, a resort island full of civilians and peaceful people, with no defence of its own! Lives were at stake, and they needed to stop them.
This job was a perfect opportunity for Poom to test his new spells, without a big risk or fear of killing anyone. It was stopping an enemy of the Fiore, and he was needed.

Poom hadn't seen Jozuma since their mission in Hargeon Town, where they retrieved an old item but paid to big of a price. It was a place where they lost Haku'na, the third amigo. That day was a breaking point for Poom, as he faced his fear of death and losing someone. After it, both Jozuma and Poom swore to get stronger, and Poom kept his promise by became a student of the Fallen God Černobog, the god of darkness and shadows. He learned God Slaying magic whose element is darkness. He decided to use the dark to serve the light. Poom was sure that Jozuma would be surprised with his new magic as it is a total opposite of his previous one, and with his new look. Before Poom's hair was brown and he was always wearing a beard, but now due to the dark magic in his body, he had lost his beard and his hair became lighter, almost making him blond.

The meeting place was an island in the middle of the sea and the only way to get there was by boat, and that was a problem for Poom. Ever since he learned the God Slaying magic, his senses had become stronger, his body sturdier, but all that came with the fact that he always got motion sickness when he was in a vehicle, boats included. His resolve was always stronger then his logic, so he stepped on the boat and next couple of hours spent puking. The trip lasted more than it should as they encountered some frozen water, that was blocking their passage. It took hours for the ice to be broken so the boat could pass, and all of those were spent by Poom puking.
When they finally hit land Poom was the first one to get off the boat and kissed the ground. "Yes! Land, finally!
It did not take him long to find them as he could see Jozuma in his assassin cloak standing next to a tall bald man. Approaching them Poom straightened his posture, and finally spoke. "Jozuma! It is me, Poom. You called and I answered." he turned towards the other man and bowed "You must be Hero Yamato. It is a pleasure to meet you!"

Hmm... treating Hero as a friend was not the wisest thing to do since they literally just met. In fact, because of that, the giant was going to make today a lot harder than he first intended which was unfortunate for him. This Dark Guild known as the Syndicate was only shown on the radar recently, so chances were high they were very skilled at concealing their movements. A perfect test to see if this young person had the resolve to become a wizard of Fiore. On the way to the docks where they were to head out to Crescent Island, Hero explained the general situation to Jozuma in a simple way that they both could understand on a fundamental level, though Hero had other plans.

When the two men arrived at the docks, Jozuma said he did not do well with transportation, which made sense since he was a slayer. Luckily, the giant had experience dealing with slayers in the past so it did not bother him at all; with that, they parted ways. However, now that he thought about it, Titan would've been able to get there a lot faster if he simply ran. Hero jumped over to the bow of the ship and paid his respects to the captain before darting off across the water. On the way, he saw Jozuma running along via his slayer abilities for only a moment before continuing on. The force of his movements formed large waves in his wake, though he was far enough away to not affect the young person.

It only took a few minutes now to get to the island which used to take five times as long only months ago. The heat of Summer was upon the island but despite that the weather was rather nice thanks to being surrounded by the vast, open ocean. While waiting, Hero took some moments to remind himself of the last time he was here; if he remembered correctly, it was when he met Venir RuLush whom was a founding member of Golden Phoenix. That woman was... very beautiful to say the least and she had a lot of fire to back it up. Literally, because she was a Flame God Slayer. Hero's reminiscing was interrupted by an unfamiliar voice. When he looked around, there was another young man near Jozuma who seemed to be an acquaintance of his. It may have actually been for the best if the future student had a friend for this. Today was going to be their greatest trial.

"Well met, young man. You seem to be a friend of young Jozuma there. That's good! It means I don't have to worry about holding back today. You both will have your greatest trials as wizards together!"
