    Job: Steal The Famous Fudge Recipe!

    Player Requirements: D or C rank wizards, 1-4 team members, 150 word min per post, 5 post minimum (Dark Mages/Guildless Only)

    Job Requirements: D or C ranked wizard, Dark mage, no moral objection to thieving, recipe card must be intact and the employee must never speak of the job again if either of these terms are breached the contract is null and void, payment cancelled.

    Job Location: Peace Village

    Job Description: Chef William Dorvald would like a wizard to steal his rival's secret fudge recipe while he is away for the week and is willing to pay top dollar for silence on the subject and a speedy delivery.

    Reward: 1,000 jewels on delivery, 1,500 if presented in 5 posts (before the rival gets back).

    Lestat * Grim Heresy * Lord of Night





    The sun was scorching the village of Peace, forcing most of its inhabitants in doors. Lestat was one who absolutely abhorred the sun, and walked like an elderly man when inside of it. Cloaked from head to toe, in all black. Random citizens walked past the slow moving mage, who simply slothed his way down the side walk. Every one of them looked at him bewildered, wondering who would wear such a thing, on a day like this. Lestat ignored the people, his eyes fixated on the shade just before him. After several long, uncomfortable minutes, Lestat made his way to the building. The small bakery only offered a small deal of shade, but just enough to escape the heat for a moment. "Hey! No loitering!" A rather large man said, exiting the bakery. The man was tall, and very well built. No doubt security for any problems that arise in the bakery. Lestat said nothing, and simply looked the man in the eye, as he breathed a little heavy from sun. The guard made an attempt to physically throw Lestat off the property. The moment his hand touched Lestat's shoulder, the silver haired mage swiftly moved. In what seemed like an instant to the guard, the mage vanished. Moving quickly, Lestat moved to behind the man, Clenching the man's hair tightly, he pulled back, exposing his neck. Lestat could feel it, the carotid artery pulsating, as it carried blood to the brain. His moth giving off the sensation of salivating, though they were dry as a whistle. Lestat exposed his large canine teeth, and viciously bit into the man, draining him completely, till his body fell to the ground, with a thud. "Oh...my..."  Came a soft voice from behind Lestat. The mage simply smirked, as he slowly turned to face the voice. An older gentleman was poking his head outside of a near by window. "Well, why dont you come out and join us?"  Lestat said opening his arms wide, welcoming the older man. "ok!" The man shouted excitedly as he ran out too meet Lestat, who stared at this man in surprise. Turns out he was looking for some one of, unsavory characteristics, to steal a recipe for him. Lestat knew it was beneath him, yet the man promised jewels and a few bodies to drink from. Realizing he had a deal he couldn't beat, Lestat accepted it. The red eyed ancient wizard walked towards his destination, The Fudge Foam. A local bakery renown for the recipe, Lestate was there to procure.

    It wasn't long, before Lestat was making his way up to the doorway. The sign said closed, and all the light were off. Regardless, Lestat thought it would be a good idea to knock first. After two taps, the strong mage accidentally smashed the glass door. "Come on in you say?" Lestat said jokingly, pretending to be the owners of the establishment. The loud sound seemed to attract a few bystanders, who watched. The inside of the place looked nice, they were clearly doing better in business, over the other bakery. Lestat simply snickered as he noticed this, walking around the bakery. Searching in the back office, he came across a small, thick metal safe. Lestat looked at the safe, and couldn't guess the combination to safe his life. The mage took a step back, and a deep breath for a moment. "Well...i could just take the safe back, and let him handle the rest." Lestat said out loud, as he attempted to conceive a plan of action. He didn't want to spend too much time there, and began scanning the room. There were things every where. Posters, pictures in frames, note cards, everything. Just as he was searching around the room, his eyes noticed one very small detail. In one of the picture frames was a microscopic piece of yellow paper. Lestat walked to the frame, and pulled on the paper. Out pops a small yellow paper, with the combination to the safe on it. Laughing at his dumb luck, Lestat began putting combination in, and viola, it opened without hesitation. Grabbing the stack of note cards inside, he quickly scanned till he found it, "Top Secret Fudge Recipe." Lestat put the card in his pocket and walked out of the bakery. As he did the, the crowd gathering around, increased in size. There were two rune knights waiting for him to leave. As they made their attempt to arrest Lestat, he speeds up, and takes a near by pole. The mage swings the metal pole swiftly, shattering the first rune knight's knee cap. He reaches down in pain, crying at the top of his lungs, as he fell to the ground. The other made a few boxing combinations, hoping one punch would land. Regardless, none of them did. Pulling a knife from the man's own utility belt, Lestat shoves it in his throat. The rune knight immediately begins gushing blood, as he clenched his throat. "Hahaha! That it? Your going to have to do better Knights!" Lestat said mockingly towards the dying men, as he wondered off. Ensuring no one watched, or followed himself, he made his way back to the other bakery.
