    Description: Animal Possession is a type of Seith Magic. It allows the user of this Magic to confine the souls of animals into their body, or specific parts of their body, and then use them in battle. When the user summons the soul of a confined animal into one of their body parts, said animal's soul covers the certain body part in an aura in the shape of that animal.

    The effect is dependent on the aura of the animal. For example, a turtle would grant a strong shell-like defense, or a rhinoceros shoulder in someone's shoulder can lead to a devastating shoulder tackle. Even something akin to a lizard aura with regenerating properties is something obtainable with animal possession. User of this caster magic has access to the full extent of the animal kingdom in terms of auras, even native creatures of fiore. Aura blasts and extensions are also not uncommon, and eventually, the user can combine the animal souls into chimera oversoul.

    Strengths: Wide Selection- One of the bigger things about this magic is the fact that it has it's versatility of having access to the animal kingdom and embodying the aspect of the creature with aura magic like proportions.

    Combo Potential and Synergy- The fact that it's not limited to a full body function and that every limb can occupy an aura leaves for unique combinations that don't limit Yhato's uses of the magic.  As one limb holds a soul, he still has access to the full function.

    Dedication bonus- This is geared towards allowing a specific aura take on the majority of the limbs for Yato's body. When this happens, it allows for a multitude of aura aspects of the singular animal that Yato can take on.

    Weaknesses: Limited space- I'ts easy to narrow down how many souls that Yhato can have active at once just by narrowing down how many limbs they can occupy. His arms, legs, for example, means that he can only have about four active.


    Chimera Oversouls can't be singular-
    In later stages where chimera oversouls are accessible, they automatically function as a dedication aura, leaving Yhato unable to narrow it down to only a specific limb.


    Aura can't be shared -
    This magic is a bit selfish in terms of how it can benefit other people through Yhato's use. The animal soul cannot possess  anyone other than the user of the magic,

    Varying elements- With some rare occasions, depending on the animal employed, the access to elements or some kind of pathogen is limited to the animal in question. For example, the generation of electricity from an electric eel.


    Lineage: Malefic Illusions
    Spoiler:

    Ability- User can trap foes in a murderous and twisted world to mentally cause damage to them.  By making eye contact with the lineage bearer the victim sees the world fade out to be replaced by a mirroring world of horrifying images and monsters. The monsters can replace allies or bystanders ins their mind,  or if none are present simply appear without a real world counterpart. The monsters attack the victims making them feel damage but it is not real and goes away once outside of the illusion. No effect on enemies of the same or greater rank.

    Usage: Effect lasts 2 posts and can only affect someone once per thread. Strong willed victims can find ways of dealing with it.


    Unique Abilities:
    Prey Instinct- Some would say that the predator instinct is the more notable instinct of the animal kingdom, but the prey instinct embodies the intuitive reasoning of those who are constantly hunted. This gives Yhato a heightened increase to his senses and reaction time.

    increased stamina- Yhato has received an exceptional increase to his stamina due to the connections of his animal souls. This allows him to waste less energy in battle and go for longer periods of time.

    Battle Bond- With the animal souls employed, Yhato's spirit is pretty much in tune with them, bringing out their full potential. This increases the strength of Yhato's spells by 50%.

    Description: Calling upon the tortoise spirit, Yhato can either place it in a limb or have it occupy his entire body. This particular spirit is green, and the aura in question takes a resembling shape of Tortoise. If it's placed in a regular limb, the buckler can provide protection for up to 3 d ranks worth of damage before dispersing. If it's a fully dedicated technique that occupies the entire body instead, it protects the user from 6 D rank's worth of damage

    Strengths: - Can absorb up to 3 d ranks of damage, keeping Yhato safe
    - Can fully dedicate the spell to protect up to 6 D ranks of damage as well, keeping Yhato safe
    Weaknesses: - Shield can't be granted to other people
    -No elemental advantage
    - dedicating the entire body to the spell takes up limb space.

    Name: Squid Soul- Tentaswipe

    Type: Offensive, Single Target

    Description: Calling upon the Squid spirit, Yhato can either place it in a limb or have it occupy his entire body. This particular spirit is a pasty grey color, and the aura in question takes a resembling shape of Squid. If it's placed in a regular limb, that Limb can be used to generate an aura tentacle that's 5 meters in width and can extend as far as 20 meters in length, dealing D rank spell damage per swipe. The tentacle moves at D rank speeds. If it's a fully dedicated technique that occupies the entire body instead, The user is given two tentacles that moves 25% faster than its base speed of D rank spell speeds.

    Strengths: - Has Good Range
    - Can fully dedicate the spell to gain a second tentacle and have it move faster.
    Weaknesses: -Limited duration
    -No elemental advantage
    - dedicating the entire body to the spell takes up limb space.


    Name: Rabbit Soul- Quick Feet

    Description: Calling upon the Rabbit spirit, Yhato can either place it in a limb or have it occupy his entire body. This particular spirit is a light yellow, and the aura in question takes a resembling shape of a rabbit. If it's placed in a regular limb, Yhato is granted 25% movement speed. This speed increase affects other active animal soul spells as well. If it's a fully dedicated technique that occupies the entire body instead, Yhato is granted 50% movement speed.

    Strengths: - Increased Speed
    - Dedication adds an increase of speed

This particular spirit is a brow color with black spots, and the aura in question takes a resembling shape of a Hyena. If it's placed in a regular limb, Yhato can travel up to 20 meters at D rank speed and attack with either a leg or an arm for d rank spell power. If it's a fully dedicated technique that occupies the entire body instead, Yhato attacks twice.

    Strengths: - Effective melee
    - Dedication bonus adds a second attack.
    Weaknesses:
    -No elemental advantage

    - Brings the user closer to close range.

    Hello I am Jiyu kazehime also known as Kitty, Julius was the one who formally claimed your magic, however, it has been passed to me for grading. My grading happens in this color.

    Before we start though I have a question. Is your idea for this basically the same as a takeover/did you want to do a takeover but had trouble understanding the guides for TO. If so I can help explain all the Takeover rules and such to you as we go through grading your magic, aid you into formally making it into one.

    Is there no way to do this without being takeover? It said it was a type of caster. However, I don't mind making this a holder ring magic type if that's the only way to keep the motif of the magic in question. If it came off as some sort of takeover, that was completely unintentional, sorry. However, i am open to your options to rectify the confusion.

    Nah, it's fine, I just wanted to be sure because takeover rules can be a bit hard to understand especially the first time looking at them, sometimes people who want to do it go with something more low key/ easier to do instead as TO can look very daunting at first.

The D rank spell damage per swipe need alteration as well, The first strike with the tentacle can deal Full D rank spell damage but any strike after that would be equal to D rank melee damage."
