He knew that the walk from the Infinity Hydra Guild hall to the Peace Village was going to be an extremely long one but in the end he didn’t mind that. His wallet wasn’t empty and he could have afforded a train or some other sort of transportation as well as afford the room and board but he had this unusual feeling being cheap. Unless he absolutely had to on this trip he wasn’t going to spend any money he didn’t have to. So sleeping would only happen once he reached the village and more specifically the clients house so walking was his only option or more specifically the only option he was going to entertain the least. He very well knew he had the ability to fly if he had chosen to summon his wings but that very notion disgusted him enough for him to speak out loud, "Just thinking about having to rely on those filthy wings is enough to churn my stomach." those words would ring sharp as they exited his mouth following the path. He pulled out the piece of paper that had the short worded job flyer that was tucked in his belt. "This should be a cake walk." he said letting the paper flap in the wind.

"Hello there, mage. I'm Mr. Watson, one of the richest businessmen in Fiore. I have a house in Peace Village which is under threat. Some thieves are trying to steal my prized possessions, and I'm not there to protect my household, for I am on a business trip to another country. Please, guard my lot for a day, and I'll promise to give some reward. Don't get yourself hurt, alright?"
The instructions were simple and the job even easier, the curious thing was that this was sent to him personally in a letter instead of being pulled from a post board. "Perhaps this Watson was told about my results with Jacob and with the convict that escaped." he would run his hand through his hair and smirk, "A bunch of thieves will be of no match for me."

Luck would smile on his him during his journey as the weather was peaceful up until he reached the village of peace right as the sun was setting and saw the large house that had to be Watson’s. "That must be the house." he stated and walked up towards the house and stopped at the front door with his hands on his hips, "but this could prove troublesome." he said looking up at the roof from end to end and then walked around the perimeter of the house looking out into the massive yard that expanded acres into the woods and then turned the corner towards the back looking at the garden narrowing his eyes collecting the date he was observing and turned the corner and headed for the front of the house "A large property will be rather annoying to deal with.”

Post by Apollo Dagger on 2nd June 2017, 12:01 pm

Advent hadn't been doing much exploring of late, he had found himself in an unusual predicament when he had ended up in an obscure village in the mountains that seemed to have cut itself off from the outside world and so had no idea that mages were not as rare as they believed. It was apparent to his guardians that this place wasn't as it seemed and so they asked him to act more like his sensible self and not to talk to them unless inside a room by himself just in case something bad happened. He managed to do it for a few days until he forgot when someone asked him something he didn't understand; when he realised his mistake he had covered his mouth and asked the person to forget he had said anything, that he didn't want to cause trouble for himself or anyone else. He was relieved when the person had agreed to his request but soon found out that was a lie when he was chased from the mage hating village he didn't understand why people like him would be seen as a bad omen but he felt his runes on his chest flare a little as an arrow past his ear, it was so close he could hear a whistle but the magical flare made him remember that he himself was bad and that this was likely what he deserved.

Finding his way to a forest he quickly climbed up a tree, his hand going to the bark of the trunk as his head did quietly whispering for it to conceal his presence that he was scared at what these people would do to him if he was ever captured by them. He hadn't realised that tears had been falling to begin with until he wiped his cheeks as he felt them itch. Remaining crouched where he was he listened quietly for several hours just to make sure that he was safe, when he believed it was he climbed down the tree placing his head to the trunk once more "Thank you" he whispered but tipped his head down as he felt something under his foot holding it out so one of his guardians could read it to him.

"Hello there. I'm Mr. Watson, one of the richest businessmen in Fiore. I have a house in Peace Village which is under constant threat. Some idiotic thieves are trying to steal some of my most prized possessions, and right now I'm not able to be there to protect my household, for I am on a business trip to another in another country. Please, guard my house for a day, and I'll promise to reward you.

    Sincerely yours,
    Mr. C Watson.

P.S Don't get yourself hurt, alright?"

Advent scratched his head for a moment listening to what he had been told by Zen-Ze not having a clue why people would need to steal from what he had seen this placed had enough food, water and other things that everyone could live happily but then he realised what he had been taught as a child some people aren't happy with they have they want what other people have too. Shrugging he started moving through the forest and towards the house wanting to go try help the man even though it hadn't been directed at him he thought his help would be better than no help at all completely unaware that the man had sent out several letters stating pretty much the same thing.

Travelling for a few hours getting distracted every now and then along the way for some reason or another he finally reached the mansion of a house and walked up what he believed was the driveway "Why would a single person need something so big and this is going to be a pain to guard by myself..." he chuckled a little somewhat like a lunatic "Oh this should be so much fun... I can't wait to see if they try." his laughter came to an abrupt end as he felt vibrations but for some reason they didn't seem hostile so it confused him as he quietly closed the gap "Um... hello? Can I help?" he called out as he approached the other wondering if it was a delivery person.

His passage around the house went completely unhindered and there was a soul in sight. However during his round about trip back to the front of the house he picked up the scent of something or someone new within the 5 meters of the house. He didn't pick up his pace and instead kept his continual stride but was ready to be deal with a confrontation if one would arise. Rounding the corner he saw a person standing at the door and was now facing him. He was able to determine that the newcomer was in fact a male around his age if not slightly younger than himself with hair the same color as his own only difference is the length, where Aemon’s was shorter and slicked back this mans was long and free flowing. The man had a blindfold on which was curious since he called out upon Aemon’s approach. Aemon was well aware that bandits were supposed to be a threat for the house as well as its belonging but this man didn't seem like any bandit or thug he has ever met. He was dressed in a black out for with splashes of purple here and there but what enforced the idea that this person was no mere thug was the markings on his exposed right arm. The symbols on his arm were intricate in design and while they had no trace of magic power flowing outward it had an unusual glow so all things considered he suspected this stranger was a mage.

Now that his thoughts were addressed he would now respond to the man who greeted him and asked if he could help him, "I could ask you a similar question." he would say to the man clad in black and crosses his arms keeping his upright posture and would continue, "My name is Aemon Trahaearn. I'm a mage who was tasked with protecting this house and its contents while the owner is away for the remainder of the night." he took an additional step towards the man as well as the door, he sought to enter so he may understand the layout of the house better in the event that a confrontation was to commence while he was defending however he knew very well that no matter how well the layout was the house was far too large defend alone. "May I inquire to what your purpose is here?" he pulled out the letter he had folded up and gave it a shake to unfold it creating a rustling paper sound so he could hold it out for him to read not really paying attention to the fact that the blindfold was still tied. "Am I to assume you too were charged with the same task?" Aemon did not know this person but all of his instincts were telling him that this tattooed man was here for the same reason as himself. If that were the case than he would certainly take the help and once it was determined to be the case Aemon would open the door and enter the large foyer that had to have a floor area as larger than most buildings. He would look back at the white haired person and pose a question he had not thought about until now, he was focused on the job but he was curious now, "Before we get started here what do I call you?"

Advent sort of ignored everything the other was saying to him, his head turned this way and that leaning a little more forward his hand moving out to tap at the others chest a few times, he then started to walk around him slowly tapping him now and then at random points on his torso with seemingly no reason. It was almost as if the white had no idea what personal space was and to an extent anyone who believed so would be right, but at this point in time he had a reason he was just not to vocal with it at front "You know he snores loudly..." he said finally stopping and standing up straight "Doesn't that ever bother you?" it never crossed the youths mind the the one in front of him couldn't hear the secondary spirit within him let alone not knowing that it was there in the first place.

"Oh not I don't need help..." he began but scratched his temple tilting his head to the right as he thought "Well actually yes, I might need help this place is far to big to protect by myself." he said almost like a ditz "HI AIM!" he proclaimed when being told the others name, he couldn't care less if others heard him. Hearing the secondary question he moved into this top being careful not to disrupt the lacrima within. "Shh, I haven't found a way yet... I need to get stronger and get more information first..." he whispered seemingly into his chest "I made a promise and I'll forfil it" he finished his voice was saddened while he spoke to an unseen force. Shortly after he smiled once more as he held out the letter he found which had said something similar to Aemon's own letter. "I found this after I was finished hiding." he explained showing the letter wasn't really meant for him but another, while not going into why he was hiding in the first place. "I thought there would be no harm if I tried to help the man in the letter" he explained with a bright expression though it changed to be grumpy just as quickly as he dropped the letter and covered his ears "Can you shut him up?" he commented once more.

His hands came down eventually only to hear the noise of paper his head tilting a little as he sighed "Um, you realise that your trying to get a blind person to read" he commented taking the paper and holding it slightly to the right "Oh your letter is wrote a little different from the one I found, but it's asking the same thing" he said holding the letter back out to Aemon. It wasn't until he himself asked for it that he had realised that he hadn't introduced himself "I'm Advent." he explained with a happy grin on his face "It's nice to meet you Aim"

    " "

Aemon's greeting seemed to have went right over the boy's head and it brought Aemon's first impression of the man to a low grade. "He either didn't comprehend what I said making him something of an idiot or he just simply didn't care, he thought to himself as he observed the blindfolded one tilt his head back and forth clearly interested in something other than what Aemon had to say. That being say Aemon wasn't made or upset by this, in fact he felt slightly amused by the gestures which in his mind resembled a dog tilting its cocking its head upon hearing a sound that it was curious about however the amusement ended after a short duration when the white one with an out stretched index finger began to poke Aemon's chest several times before circling around Aemon giving his prodding finger a new spot to tap random spots on his body. Aemon lifted his arms up and with a raised eyebrow followed the boy and remained silent for part of this strange procedure, "Is there any particular reason you are continually poking me?" he said out loud while thinking something else entirely, I don't think he is doing this with the purpose of annoying me. He seems genuinely curious with me. His thoughts were interrupted by Advent who finally spoke up saying something seemingly random, something regarding loud snoring. "Does what ever bother me?" fully unaware that Advent was referring to Ddraig, the dragon Aemon's soul had housed since his birth, the root of his magic.

Only now that his mindset was derailed did the boy answer his earlier question about if the by was in need of help and at first began to give the answer of no but after a moment of uncertainty he confirmed that he did need some help, the house was too large for him to protect on his own, a similar conclusion Aemon himself came up with only a few moments after walking around the house to fully take in the size of the house as well as the size of the property. "I see. You too huh?" he said, slightly surprised that another mage had made his way out here for the job but before commenting any further on the matter the person in front of him began to whisper to himself as he shuffled into his clothes, speaking to something or someone Aemon couldn't see. Due to his enhanced hearing Aemon was able to hear what he was saying, talking about about getting stronger and he was looking to get stronger as well as information for some unknown promise. Aemon was then greeted by a near identical letter to the one he was in possession of and proclaimed to have found it and decided to take it upon himself to help with the owner's request. "Is that so, you co.." he was cut off by Advent suddenly holding his ears and shouting if Aemon could shut "him" up. "What him are you referring to?" he voiced his curiosity now just before Advent took his letter, stated he is blind but still manages to read it to the point of knowing it is the same letter but different in it's contents. He then finally introduced himself as Advent. Aemon would smirk, "One of these days I would like to know how a blind man is able to read a letter but until then, it is nice to meet you as well Advent." he would look at the door and back at his new partner for the evening before pushing the door open, "So Advent, you want the ground floor or one of the upper levels?" he asked as he entered the house a head of Advent and stood in the foyer waiting for the blind/not blind man to follow before shutting the door.

Advent looked to Aemon as he asked about the poking, he seemed confused by the question as it hadn't crossed the white hair youth's mind that the other had no idea that there was another within his spirit "You mean you really don't know your spirit is strange?" he finally commented to the other, he was the last person alive or most likely even dead to comment that anything was strange given his own habits and spirit but it was the first time he had seen such a thing outside his own body "You have a spirit living within your own and he's snoring... loudly" he commented anticipating the question of what he was talking about "By the shape of it, I think it's a dragon" he said with a shrug as it seeing a dragon was an every day occurrence but then he had no idea how rare dragons were. He leaned forward poking the other's chest once more "Hay wake up or be quiet..." he almost pouted as he stepped back crossing his arms.

"Hay, at least tell me your name so I can tell the one housing you... be polite at least" he said with a deep sigh, he wanted to help Aemon discover a part of himself he seemed to be ignorant of, though it didn't seem like it was by his own choice. He looked at Aemon for a moment tilting his head when he heard that the other wanted to know how he managed to read the letter and tell their differences though he was blind "We all have our secrets Aim, this is just one of many when it comes to me" he said with a happy grin. He understood that curiosity was a normal thing but there was still much his guardians didn't want known about him especially to someone he had just met, it was the one rule he followed always.

Advent followed the other into the house but kept and ear on the spirit sleeping within Aemon's own just in case it decided that it was going to give the information, if not he would just have to force the thing awake later for the information but would rather not do that as it could lead to some very strange complications, magic altering or having hearing about it from his guardians the spirit within taking over creating a new kind of magic that would otherwise be left alone as it could send the host mad but he would have to decide that later. Hearing the others question he scratched his head as he tried to think "Wait shouldn't we be outside doing this? I mean we could destroy something" he was being logical for a change but that was nothing to do with him instead it was to do with his guardian's concerns, they didn't want the white haired youth to get in trouble given as he didn't care about material possessions like most due to his upbringing.

"You trust a blind person to go upstairs?" he asked, he had slept inside an inn once since he came to Fiore and when he had told the person who owned it they had made arrangements with another guest for them to be upgraded at no extra charge if they took a room upstairs so he could have the room on the ground floor. To him that was odd but apparently it seemed as if blindness was a big deal to many people though he really didn't understand why. "You're choice." he stated with a shrug, his head going to the door as he felt vibrations "Seems like we have guests..." he said in a dismissive bored tone as if this was just going to bore him to death. Opening the door he lowered his head to have someone look back up to him as he tried to pick the lock, though through the vibrations he could feel nine more close by "Aim, are they with us?" he asked scratching his head not knowing if anyone else was expected.

He was about to turn around when the man stood up quickly trying to punch Advent who just leaned to the other side "Nevermind got the answer" he explained picking up his foot as he jamp kicking the man in the head making his head collide with the wall. "I'll take these guys there's around the same amount upstairs seems our current employer isn't much on locking windows" he said with a bit of a sigh hooking the guy he had met the wall a few moments before now received it again knocking him out. It was only then he was told that he had made two dents in the wall making him scratch his head "Well this man seems to have more than a fair share of wealth, he can afford to get it fixed" he huffed to an unseen force as he tried to decide wither or not fighting inside or out would be the best idea but on hearing rain and thunder that made his mind up "we're staying inside!" he explained walking back to were he had been previously, it also gave him an upper hand as they would have to funnel their way in through a single door.

    - Aemon

    " "
Aemon couldn't help but express just how puzzled he was at that moment. According to this strange man his spirit was strange in its existence, something that not even he has a clue about. He would remain silent as the Advent further explained to him that inside his own soul housed another soul. However his curiosity was soon replaced with an entirely different emotion; disgust. Aemon was aware that the source of that magic that would be considered “his” was from the Red dragon that bestowed its power onto the his ancestors. It was that very dragon’s power that allowed Aemon himself to live but live a cursed life with a power that he despised. He wasn't ignorant to the fact that when the dragon's power was shoved into his magic container as an infant that saved his life. However had it not been for that dragon’s power being the sole cause of his family's pitiful state that wouldn't have been an issue. However what Advent said wasn’t completely impossible, while he wasn’t sure how he could read a soul in such a manner but he did understand how magic worked and how it was essentially connected to the owners soul so it wasn’t too farfetched to comprehend that when the dragon gave his power to Aemon he in fact transferred himself from the smashed artifact to Aemon to have the former act as a new host for its very soul. If that Dragon has been in me the entire time how is it I am only now figuring this out now? he thought to himself letting his tension relax a bit is it possible that this was a fact that not a single was aware of until this moment? Advent then poked his chest again and spoke this time directly to the dragon itself practically demanding that it either wake up or stop snoring.

From Within the soul of Aemon, Ddraig’s eye slowly opened fully acknowledging Advent’s words and responded with a small snort. “It’s been many years since I had contact with anyone, even longer since someone had the nerve to speak to me in that demanding tone.” he would pause a moment, “But after years of trying to contact my partner here and failing I should be grateful that my comprehension of your language or the art of conversation has not been lost to me that being said your first request is denied, until this idiot decides to actually use my powers and allow me to contact him I will continue my slumber. For your second request if he is half as smart as he acts then my name is already known to him and more than likely he understands much more now about the situation” and with that the dragon went closed it’s eyes and went back to sleep leaving Advent to say whatever the blind man wanted to say. "Ddraig, the red Dragon of Destruction. " he said speaking the name of the dragon and looking at Advent. "Introductions won’t be needed." and with Advent learning much more about him Aemon had hoped that he would divulge how a blind man such as himself was able to read the letters and tell how they were different but alas it was a secret that would remain unknown to him for the time being.

Aemon took the lead and entered the house’s foyer and looked at the size of just the entry way and would stop to look back at Advent as he entered the house and asked a very good question with an equally good point. "You are right, if we are outside we may not be able to avoid destroying a thing or two but if we are outside we may have intruders get past our defenses or worse overwhelm us. In here if a battle takes place and we are faced against a larger number of opponents we could essentially use rooms, hallways and such to our advantage. Plus…." he was going to continue his point when Advent mentioned they had guests. Aemon’s took a subtle wiff and could smell different scents approaching. He looked above him as heard creeking floor boards, "We can hear if people are walking around." The sudden thud made Aemon look back at Advent who had his foot pressed against a man’s head which was against the wall. "Good Luck." he said calmly as she took a step forward and took two leaps and was at the top of the stair case. The landing at the top wrapped around and went down a hallway with five rooms down the length of both sides. Aemon looked down the hallway curious to which room they might be in, It was possible that they were hiding after hearing the ruckus downstairs. I’d have to draw them out all the while not getting caught by a possible sneak attack. Hmmm I have an idea. he thought to himself. He turned his body to the right standing sideways and held out his left hand as if he were holding something in the air then suddenly a matte black bow materialized in his hand and matching it was an all black quiver secured at his hip on his right full of twenty arrows. He draws one and knocks it on the string of the bow, draws it halfway and then releases it letting it fall in the middle of the hallway making a noise upon impact. Aemon quickly draws the string back full producing an arrow made out of his own mana and holds it waiting for someone to fall for the decoy. The fourth door down on his right blew apart and was reduced to splinters as a man comes through the doorway with a magic powered shot gun in one hand with the other holding what looked like a small metal safe and Aemon smirked, "How predictable." he released the string and the arrow flew down the hallway with the arrowhead piercing the arm that held the gun causing it to drop to the ground. Aemon then ran towards the thief as he reached down to pick up his shotgun but before the thief could even wrap a finger around the handle Aemon thrusted the reinforced front of the bow into the man’s sternum making him drop the safe and held onto his stomach, "idle hands are the devil’s play thing." he said lifting his leg and push kicking the man away from the safe and the weapon creating adequate distance for the bow’s primary purpose. His right hand reached down and pulled three arrows out with one between each finger. The arrow that was held between his index finger and middle finger was knocked, drawn and fired into the thief’s uninjured shoulder in one fluid motion and he repeated this with the other two hitting non vital areas each impact making him back up closer to the window at the end of the hallway. Drawing one more arrow and knocking it on the left side of the bow he pulled it back and fired a hard shot into the upper part of his right pectoral muscle. It was aimed away from any vital organs but the force of the impact made his back press against the window causing it to break outward and him fall to the ground outside.

"Mr. Watson was right to fear someone trying to take his treasures." he looked at the safe and then at the rooms down the hallway. He opened the door across the way from the one that was broken and kicked the safe into the room. With the quick draw technique he used a moment ago he pulled one arrow free from the quiver and pulled it into a full draw moved it from left to right and entered the room checking every corner to see it was clear aside from furniture. He put the arrow back and with his free right hand he turned the lock on the window so it would prevent any outsiders to enter it. He slammed an arrow into like a nail for reinforcements. "I’ll clear each room and bring the loot here for safe keeping." he exited the room and closed the door quietly made his way to the next room.

Advent started to process everything the dragon had said to him while he was standing with his foot still on the mans head, he had completely forgotten if he was to be asked about it "It's easy for me to use such a tone on you, you snore... loudly... now wake up before I force you awake!" he grumbled, the snoring was giving the white haired youth a headache and right now he could do without it. "Get use to being spoken to and it'll likely be in smartass if I'm reading Aim's own spirit correctly" he said almost huffing, he felt like he was having to play ambassador for warring countries when it came to the two since it was clear that one side was sick of trying and the other didn't want to know. "Also I have no filter so what I think pretty much comes out how it's intended" he said with a small shrug about his demanding tone. "The dragon thinks your an idiot... I kinda agree with him at least on this occassion" he said with a smile "Your powers together would be very hard to beat... but your disgust has you running... so time to stop and talk to him" he continued "You're body is the host so you can dictate the rules but it would be a partnership and wither you like it or not he is part of you and denying that fact shows your weakness and makes you weaker... so man up" he finished now turning back to the one he had pinned realising that he was still there.

Advent kept his foot firmly on the man who tried to pick the lock, leaning in a little a wide mischievous grin on his face "If you don't have a key, then you're not meant to be here... that's just bad manners" he commented before pulling back scratching his head "Wait how did we get in here?" he didn't remember using a key and there was no instructions on where they could find a key to enter, so he started to wonder if they where as bad as the people they where meant to be stopping. "Hay, got a question for you. Answer truthfully and I promise not to twist your spirit..." he said before a dark smile appeared on his face for a brief moment "to badly" he whispered if his voice was heard it would be cold but seem to take some kind of pleasure in harming another at such a level, but no sooner than it was there than it vanished.

"Hush you, you're meant to be asleep!" he knocked his head with a clenched fist as if trying to knock sense into himself. "hu? Oh yeah...." it was almost as if he forgot the fact that he had one of the robbers pinned to the wall by his foot "Why are after this junk? When you're dead it's of no use to you" he said his tone seemed somewhat innocent but at the same time seemed educated on the afterlife and it's limitations. He felt the trembles of fear on his feet and shook his head "Oh I'm not going to kill you..." he said lowering his foot grabbing the man quickly using him as a shield as arrows seemed to come towards the door 'I've spilt to much blood as it is, I don't want to spill anymore if I can help it' he thought to himself his head sighing as he felt the weight of the other gaining weight "I said I wouldn't kill you, they seem to have no qualms on it however" he mentioned throwing the body outside, he would guess that blood stains in a carpet would be a pain to get out.

'So they took out one, so I have nine more in this wave' he nodded understanding "HAY, CAN'T YOU JUST GO? WE DON'T WANT TO BREAK ANYTHING... OR ANYONE FOR THAT MATTER" he called out alerting those coming towards him that he was aware that they where there, but he guessed what they had just don to their friend they weren't going to listen, but he needed to try. "I guess but..." he sighed nodding making one quick gesture ungodly wailing being heard in and outside the house as Advent seemed to have ripped a hole in the fabric of existence bringing out black chains with wisps of black smoke from them throwing them towards the already intruders already frozen in fear with what they had just heard "Don't worry, you'll go into a slumber you'll never wake from" he explained knowing what came next. Death took their price from everyone, Advent clenched his hand wincing as he felt his own life force drain but it was the price he paid for the ability.

"Y-yes, I'm fine... no need to worry" he said gaining his breath after a few moments a smile on his face, he in fact was far from fine, his magic petrified him more so because it was entwined with forced he knew no one should be touching. He started moving his fingers in precise movements a soft melody starting to harmonise within the house. He knew this would make the enemies lethargic thus slowing their paces while weakening any damage they would do. He remained quiet continuing this requiem waiting to see if any within the chains would survive before he would decide what would be the next step to take in this dance. His eyes went back as he felt faint vibrations but while he was harmonising he knew he couldn't even ask his parents for help or it would throw it off so for now he would walk slowly towards it knowing that the nine by the door would be a little tied of for a short time and may not survive what was happening to them.
