    Magic

    Primary Magic: Living Magic
    Secondary Magic: None
    Caster or Holder: Caster&Holder
Description: Living magic grants the user the power to manipulate life itself. Conroling life, controling the vein of the dragon which is actually the magic of the world and breathing life into objects are the main points of this magic.

Ranganok can use this magic to create different creatures from inanimate objects.Occasionally, Ranganok has to perform different techniques or preparations in order to cast this Magic's spell. Multiple creatures can be created simultaneously, and the caster can give their creations distinct appearances, personalities, and abilities. Some given abilities can be Magic itself.

Besides creating creatures, Ranganok can use this magic to breathe life into already living beings which could change them, strengthen them depending on what he wants and even heal. The highest point of this magic is resurrecting the dead.

    Strengths

    • Support: The best use of this magic is when Ranganok has teamates. This way he can strengthen them, weaken the enemies and create different creatures to support them. The biggest strenght is it's supporting role.

    • Number: Due to the nature of this spell, Ranganok could use the advantage of numbers since it is not a summon but rather creating life that sustains itself, meaning it doesn't need his mana to be sustained, thus he could create an infinite number of monsters as long as he has the mana and time to create them.

    • Versatility: One of the magic strengths is it's versatility. It can be adapted to anything and used in infinite ways. One example is being able to use the creatures created in their object form, thus being able to utilize their magic.

    Weaknesses

    • No offensive Spells: The living magic has only creation and supportive spells meaning that is heavily dependent on others. Thus, he has no offensive spells and he would be at a great disatvantage when fighting alone.

    • Spell Requirements: Some spells require strict preparations or a long time to cast meaning that creating strong creatures in combat would be most unlikely unless he was heavily backed up.

    • Lack of Control: When creating powerful sentient beings, he would be most likely unable to control them trough the magic, meaning that the creatures would listen or follow him by their own will if they so chose, or they could turn against him.

    Lineage

Description: In the medieval ages, a golden dragon was said to have lived. It was said that this dragon was the wisest dragon of all. He, before his death, gave part of his soul to a farmer, and the man used his newfound power to help protect those he loved. Little more is known about the mysterious abilities he has gained due to the lack of descendants that were carried on, but legends claim that through the dragon's spirit, the man gained immense insight and foresight, much like the dragon himself had.

Ability: Dragon Spirit allows the user to sense or predict all events ahead allowing him to avoid sticky situations. They don't really get surprised because they sort of "Feel" the future.  Like they half-expected that this or that would happen and they get a general sense of foreboding when threats are coming.
For 1 post they can activate a Dragon's Eye ability in which they actively see the immediate future as though it were projected with ghostly "Echoes" in front of everything.  The very skilled can react to the user's reactions however and cause splits in these echos.   If the enemy predict your own actions or has a similar ability this may cause multiple echos to the point that they are useless.

Usage: The ability lasts 1 post with a 10 post cooldown and when the spell is used the user can only see a limited amount of time in the future which is limited to 5 posts ahead in the thread they are in. The user cannot speak of what they saw because it will change the future. This ability can be used for plot reasons to see a into the future as a passive.

    Unique Abilities

    • Immortality: Due to the extended use of the Living magic, the magic itself altered Ranganok's body, stopping it's age and making it more resistant to damage. Thus he cannot grow old or die from old age. And gains 25% damage reduction.

    • Blessing of the Dragon Vein: By using the power of the dragon vein so much, Ranganok established a powerful connection with the dragon vein, thus being able to draw out ethernano directly from the earth. Thus he gains 4% mana each post as he has his feet on the ground, since he drains the mana trough his feet.

    • Detect Life: Due to his proficiency with manipulating life itself, Ranganok developed the ability to sense life around him, thus he is able to sense the presence of any living being around in a 50 meter radius and see how much hp they have.

    Spells

    Genesis:

    Rank: D-rank
    Type: Supportive
    Duration: 3 posts
    Cooldown:4 posts
Description: Ranganok drips a bit of his blood on a selected object and casts the spell. This needs a weak item purchased from the store. This creates a purple magic circle around the object and the user breathes life into the object as the dragon vein opens and sends it's own ethernano into the object. After the long ritual in which the user cannot defend himself, the object becomes alive and is controled by the user's will. They also have a will of their own, and gain one active abillity and passive(which is active only if they are in their normal state and not in the object one). The creation can either be used in the object form by their creator, using their active abilities or summon them in living form. The summoning spell is embedded into the object itself meaning that anyone can summon them if they provide the mana, however they listen only to the orders of the one that put his blood in the ritual. All the creations are D-ranked. They have the same stats as normal Summoned Familiars. Also, the item that becomes alive need admin approval and it's abillities would be graded in the item form. Also, any other non-summoner can summon only one of those creatures regardless of rank but would be unable to control them unless they exploited the ritual loophole. And due to their nature they can stay in creature form for longer periods, more precisely 7 posts and have a cooldown of 8.
    Strengths:

    • Self-Sustaining: Once the creature is created it sustains itself as any living being, it doesn't need any aditional mana from their creator. And thus, the creation of the magical object is permament.(note: this does not mean they can stay in creature form permanently. Just that the object created that can summon the creature is permanent.)

    • Aditional Mana: Each creature has it's own MP, which means that their abilities costs them their own mana and not Ranganok's but also when they run out of mana their abillities become unusable.

    Weaknesses:

    • Casting Vulnerability: While the ritual is ongoing, the caster is completely vulnerable to attacks and he is unable to defend himself.

    • Killable: All the creatures are killable and once they die the item is destroyed they cannot be used again.

    • Ritual Loophole: The blood is what makes the creature obey the caster so if other blood for example is used to give life to the item the person who's blood belongs to will be the one to control it and not Ranganok. In case there is blood from more persons, all of them would be able to command it which could also bring trouble in case of contradicting orders.

    Breath of Life

    Rank: D-rank
    Type: Supportive
    Duration: 1 post
    Cooldown: 5 posts
Description: Ranganok aims his palm towards the target and forms a magic circle. Then he sends life energy trough the magic towards the target which heals him for 50% of rank damage and makes his body hasten his regeneration, doing heal over time for 50% of rank damageceach post for 5 posts.
    Strengths:

    • Regen: Can restore a great deal of hp.

    Weaknesses:

    • Cooldown: It's primary drawback is it's high cooldown.

    • Restores hp gradually: This spell restores th health gradually instead of all at once, which could give the enemy a chance to take them out before the heal over time finishes if the damage is high enough.

    Blessing of the Primordial Spirits

    Rank: D-rank
    Type: Supportive
    Duration: 3 post
    Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: Ranganok waves his hand from side to side towards and forms a magic circle around. Then he sends his ethernano trough the magic circle towards the persons that he chooses and are in the circle which makes their body mutate at the molecular level thus buffing one physical stat of Ranganok's choice. It buffs strength by 5 , or speed by 20% or endurance by 40%.
    Strengths:

    • Versatility: Can choose which stat he can buff depending on the situation.

    Weaknesses:

    • Potency: One normal buff is not enough to raise the ranking of the stat.

    • Stillness: This requires the targets to stay in one place for a short time until the spell is cast. They can easily move out of the magic circle before it is finished casting and lose the buff.

    Descend of the Old Ones

    Rank: D-rank
    Type: Supportive
    Duration: 3 post
    Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: Ranganok Concentrates with his eyes closed, unable to move or do anything for 1 post and then waves his hand from side to side towards and forms a magic circle around. . That circle draws the dragon vein energy and sends it into the targets body that are in the circle which empowers the spell effects with D-rank damage. Meaning that if the buffed caster uses a D-rank spell it would give 100% more damage, for a C-rank it would be 50% and so on. Due to his charging everyone targeted inside the circle gets 100% of spell's power buff, including himself.
    Strengths:

    • Versatility: It empowers any kind of spell which could be a great advantage.

    Weaknesses:

    • Unstackable: The buff cannot be cast multiple times on the same person.

    • Vulnerability: The caster is completely vulnerable to any kind of attack for a short time.

Alright so, since this is in a template I wont be mass quoting the entire thing, but rather only parts that require modding.

Number: Due to the nature of this spell, Ranganok could use the advantage of numbers since it is not a summon but rather creating life that sustains itself, meaning it doesn't need his mana to be sustained, thus he could create an infinite number of monsters as long as he has the mana and time to create them.

This is definately a summoning # loophole. You can easily make 'group' summons but saying all of your creations are not summons and to go as far to say an infinite number could cause problems. Also, do note, you can say they dont need mana to be sustained, hence why they have a duration, but it does cost mana to create them, and once duration is over, the summon ends unless you're paying to maintain them past that limit via limit transcendence.

Detect Life: Due to his proficiency with manipulating life itself, Ranganok developed the ability to sense life around him, thus he is able to sense the presence of any living being around and see how much hp they have.

Needs a range at which you can use this on others. Given the effect, I'm more than willing to have it go beyond normal D-rank as so long as it is not ridiculous.

Killable: All the creatures are killable and once they die they cannot be used again.

First off, if it has an active + passive, you need to write what they will be in this spell. Can't simply make them up on the fly per time you use this.

Second, no summon may be permanent, it requires the user to re-cast after the duration is over. Due to the large requirement you go through to summon this however, I am okay with a large increase in the duration, but due note, the cooldown will always be +1 more than the duration.

I need a set % of how much this buff is, and second you require one more weakness. You must always have +1 more weakness than the number of strengths you have.

    Hi,

Thank you for taking your time to grade my app. Well living magic is not about summoning creatures from other parts but rather creating them from object in this world, basically giving birth to creatures, they do not need mana since they would be self sustained, but it is required to create them. But I do understand your concern about the "unlimited number".

The duration is only how much it takes for the spell to be cast since it's charging type. Please do note that I have no intention of questioning your decision, I just want to find a middle ground, something that would make us both happy.

So what if I make it instead of creating summons, creating magic items, magic items that turn into creatures and that help you in battle, they are permanent, but they can turn into creatures, like lullaby. There will be a limit how many items he can carry , just for the sake of nerfing. I can go as far as have just one abillity active or passive. And in order to create a monster he needs to buy an item from the store and give it life. So basicaly is a perma cast, once you cast it it has that ability and no changing it. If it dies you lose the item and will be unable to use that monster ever again(unless you ress him somehow but a resurrection spell would be S-rank) Would this work?

As for Detect life, I'm not sure what the ranges of spells are in numbers here, so i'm gonna say a random number, would 50 meters be ok?Since it's passive that feels life around you, 50 meters would be like a basketball stadium so not exagerrated.

As for buffing, i have no idea of the numbers of each rank since I haven't seen it anywhere. But if it's a D-rank buff I could say that he could increase the stat by a D-rank level: unarmed damage increases by 5 and speed increases by 20% and normal damage increases by D-rank damage? Is that ok? As for another weakness, I have put it already.

Thank you again for taking your time to grade my app and I do hope we could find a solution that would please us both. :)

EDIT: I have edited the Genesis spell to explain better what happens and also added a new weakness to it.

Also edited the buff with stats as I thought it would be ok. So basically everything has been edited. I hope the stats chosen are ok. :)

Alright, so I'll go part by part for now. First off, Duration is the length of time of which a spell/creation/summon/ect... may last. So, despite you saying they'll have their own mana, the creation may only exist until the end of the duration. Once the duration ends, it too must end.

If you want to call them creations, then they dont get a passive/active like summons do, and nor woul they have a summon's hp or damage. I'd classify them as the same as just a controllable spell, meaning they'd at most, have the hp of the spell's rank in damage, and can only do a maxium of rank worth in a single post. Even then, I'd say that would push it.

If you do want them to be considdered summons, but icly called creations, then you'd have to follo the summoning limit #, which is also covered in the rules. This would allow them to have an active and passive. Do remember, and I'm someone whom used this very thing before. A summon doesn't need to be 'summoned' from a realm or the alike. You can breathe life into something, and it'd be oocly classified as a summon, following all summon rules, while icly you're simply creating something. I did this with many things in the past, which is something I think you may be going for.

Lastly, for this post I'll mention this. I realize you want a middle ground, as we all do, however I'm going to have to ask you to re-read our magic rules first, because when one is attempting to go around a large chunk of rules, it is fairly hard to find a middle ground.

I must really thank you for this. Thanks to what you said above, I've got an idea how to make the spell even better and acceptable at the same time.

So the basic concept is that you give life to these objects. These objects gain one active and one passive ability(which can be active only when summoned) permanently(so I also edited the self sustaining which says that only the object is permanent and not the summoning) and the abillity to be summoned in their creature from from those objects and use those abilities. And it basically works like a normal summon just that it has a longer duration thanks to that huge charging drawback. A duration of 7 posts is ok?

So basically this spell creates "silver spirit keys" of sorts, which can be used to summon creatures.

I hope this would be the middle ground we were both looking for.

Thank you again for inspiration. :)

stay in creature form for longer periods, more precisely 7 posts and have a cooldown of 8.

I'm okay with a D-rank summon having a 7 post duration specifically because it does have a charge up time, however you need to specifically state in the spell that, currently you have a duration of 3 and CD of 4 on the spell.

Also, as for a passive & active. You need to write what they are down, it cannot be made just on the fly every time they're summoned/created.

    Code:
    [b]Passive:[/b]
    [b]Active:[/b]

That should help. Just write what the passive does, and what the active does. Remember a passive is always passively active, and an active ability is activated, and then goes on a cooldown.

You also will need to define what you're making. As it is right now, it doesn't state what you are creating, but rather you are just creating. A description or a picture of the creature/thing/ect... would help that fact.

Just to make things clear...the creation and summoning are 2 diferent things. The creation is about giving life to the object and giving it a passive and active abillity while the summon is actually about using it and making it go in humanoid form. The creation one actually takes 3 posts to charge(which is why I've put the duration like that) and have a cooldown of 4 while the summoning itself which is a skill inherited by each item and not by the caster, it only uses the mana of the caster, has a duration of 7 posts with an 8 post cooldown.

Also I stated in the spell that those creatures are technically treated like magic items. Living magic items, so basically he is giving one passive and one active abillity to an item making it a magic item. Thus when he creates a living item with his spell I will have to make a magical item form where I would state it's active and passive ability and will be able to use that item only if the admins/moderators approve it. It works similar to a key that you create, which would need approval first, the difference being that you don't use the item to summon a creature, the item is the creature itself and use the "summoning" to make it take it's full form.

The length of time the spell lasts is what the duration must be.

Second, if you're giving the 'creations' or what ever you wish to call them, a passive + Active. Then these creations would be called or considered summons, or depending on how you word it, via the creation of 'items', it'd potentially be requip.

Which still does not nullify the next point, you must place on the magic app itself, the abilities of which you're giving the thing in the first place.

Another point is that you still are required to even state what you're creating/summoning/ect...

Due to recent issues, Raiza has passed over your application to my hands, so I will be the one to grade it. If you have any issues, feel free to contact me; however, I am currently on the road, so I do have limited access to internet and may take a bit to get any response back to you. You can find my requested edits in this color.

You need 1 more weakness for your magic. If you have 3 strengths,
you need 4 weaknesses, as weaknesses should always be 1 more than strengths.

Please lower the range to 20 meters for D-rank. However, you can have the range increase per rank by a certain amount, such as 15 meters (i.e. 20m at D, 35m at C, 50m at B, 65m at A, 80m at S, 95m at SS, and 110m at H), if you want.

    Spells

    Genesis:

    Rank: D-rank
    Type: Supportive
    Duration: 3 posts
    Cooldown:4 posts
Description: Ranganok drips a bit of his blood on a selected object and casts the spell. This needs a weak item purchased from the store. Magic cannot be connected to your weapons/armor/items unless you have requip magic. Summons already have an active and a passive; if you want them to have an extra active or passive, you must make it as Unique Abilities. Again, Requip is the only magic in which purchased weapons/armors/items are used. Also, any other non-summoner can summon only one of those creatures regardless of rank but would be unable to control them unless they exploited the ritual loophole. As the summons are part of your magic, no one else is able to summon them. And due to their nature they can stay in creature form for longer periods, more precisely 7 posts and have a cooldown of 8. No, max D-rank duration is 4 posts, with a minimum cooldown of 5 posts.

What are your active and passive abilities? Remember, summons get 1 passive and 1 active ability.

Summons do not get their own MP; in fact, their passive and active abilities do not cost anything.

    Weaknesses:

    • Casting Vulnerability: While the ritual is ongoing, the caster is completely vulnerable to attacks and he is unable to defend himself.

    • Killable: All the creatures are killable and once they die the item is destroyed they cannot be used again. Unfortunately, this is not how Summon magic works. Once the summon's HP drops to 0, they simply go into cooldown.

Other mages cannot summon your summons, as this would be breaking a site rule(powerplaying/godmodding).

    Breath of Life

    Rank: D-rank
    Type: Supportive
    Duration: 1 post
    Cooldown: 5 posts
Description: Ranganok aims his palm towards the target and forms a magic circle. Then he sends life energy trough the magic towards the target which heals him for 50% of rank D-rank damage and makes his body hasten his regeneration, doing heal over time for 50% of rank damageceach post for 5 posts. Max D-rank duration is 4 posts; please make the duration 4 posts if it lasts for that long, as it is not a 1 post duration if it continues to heal over time. If it only lasts for 1 post, then it only heals for 50% of D-rank damage.

It buffs strength by 5 By 5 what? , or speed by 20% or endurance by 40%. Please pick only one stat to buff and lower the stat to 25% if it's higher than 25%, as D-rank spells can really only buff for 25% unless there are drawbacks to the mage casting the spell that allows for a higher buffing.

No buff is capable of being 100%, the most I can offer is a 25% increase to spell damage for those the spell is cast upon.
    Strengths:

    • Versatility: It empowers any kind of spell which could be a great advantage.

    Weaknesses:

    • Unstackable: The buff cannot be cast multiple times on the same person.

    • Vulnerability: The caster is completely vulnerable to any kind of attack for a short time.
