    Job Information:

Ursala hadn't heard from or seen her father in the longest time. She had returned to him one day, and he simply had vanished. After this happened Ursala had been longing to find him. Most everyone in her home village she had asked didn't have a clue, but one of father's oldest friends decided to help best he could. He had told her a city called Ace of Spades had been her father's favorite place to visit in his youth. If he were to move some where else, it'd probably be there. With that information Ursala decided to visit the city. She was bound, and determined to find her father. She would do most anything to find him.

After a few days of preparation Ursala set off to find the city. From what she could tell it was a city built at the base of a castle. It sounded like a rather lively city, and Ursala was rather excited about visiting it. Ursala didn't have much money, and because of that she had to take a ferry that arrived on the opposite side of the island as the actual city. Ursala didn't mind having to travel though. She actually quite enjoyed quiet alone time. The ferry was a rather small boat, and didn't have many passengers to speak of. Ursala quickly understood why the tickets were so cheap. The ferry itself was rather run down, and the customer service was horrible. Ursala asked one of the crew members for a lunch, and the best response she got was "Nah." It didn't affect Ursala much though. The majority of the voyage she simply sat on the deck with a nice book, and an apple she bought before she left. The passage over was rather peaceful. Nobody disturbed her, and nothing was asked of her.

Upon reaching the island she over heard the crew talking. "Captain we need to leave fast. Apparently there's a sand storm heading our way from the other side of the island." The was a brief pause before the captain responded. "Get all the passengers off quickly." The crew member responded in a worried voice. "But, won't they get caught up in the storm on the way to the city?""Who cares I'm not giving them a free ride back." With that the crew member left the captains side. Ursala quickly reacted, and walked up to the captain. Her face was emotionless, but inside she felt anger. She couldn't allow the few other passengers to get caught up in a sandstorm. She checked around, and none of the crew was near to see.  Before the captain knew it she had casted Bubble around him, and was slowly shrinking it closing him in. "You will allow the passengers a voyage back to safe land." The captain started yelling for his crew, but Ursala immidiantly knew what to say. "If any of them attack me I can, and will crush you." Of course Ursala had no intention of actually killing this man, but like she planned he quickly called off the crew that had showed up. He agreed to Ursala's terms, and she released him. "What a coward." Ursala muttered before she got off boat herself.

After making sure the captain hadn't forced any of the passengers off, Ursala started walking along the path looking for shelter before the sand sand storm arrived. It was starting to get dark,  so Ursala casted Minefield. As soon as they appeared Ursala combined them into one, and used it as a light. The wind started to kick up, and Ursala could tell the storm was nearing. She had to find shelter, and fast. She searched for a few minutes, and eventually found a small cave. She could tell it went further back. She wanted to explore it to see if there was anything interesting in the cave, but decided to rest a little before exploring it.

It was not like Leah to travel a long ways for a friend.

To be fair however, this was not really an ordinary friend; it was the wealthy heir of several corporations.  If there was anything the redhead was, it happened to be greedy, so she set out immediately to go meet up with him.  As far as travel plans had gone, it was deemed appropriate for her to travel in order to see him.  The girl reflected that it could just be a lot of bother for nothing, but she had recently finished a job that allowed her to pay off the next month's rent and had no worries about money for the time being.  A bit of fun could be allowed, right?  And it would only be fair of him to pay her back the expense of the trip, because friends supported each other...

As she glared at travel maps, the type that littered the city and were sold from kiosks for tourists, Leah wasn't exactly sure what the best route was.  An airship could be a plausible explanation, considering that Ace of Spades was in the middle of a desert and had no easy way for water transportation.  There was a small note about ferry departure and arrival times, but it meant a small walk would be necessary.  In the end, the mage resolved to just go on foot to the mage city.  Mostly, this was a result of being a cheap skate and not feeling like paying for transportation, but she also just didn't believe there was an effective method of transportation.  So off she went, leaving a note in her guild hall this time (some of the members had chewed her out for just disappearing and pulling what they liked to call "the Apprentice stunt") and taking a bagful of non-perisable provisions with her on her journey.

Upon reaching the edge of the Phoenix Isles, the girl wasn't tired yet; she was accustomed to walking for long distances on account of not wanting to pay for any fare at all.  However, after hopping in the boat of a small fisherman who offered to give her a ride (for free!) and maybe accidentally, truly on accident, helping his wallet make its way into her jacket pocket (she was in disguise, so it wasn't as though people knew it was her...) the girl knew the next leg of her journey would be rough.  After all, Ace of Spades was a decent five million years away, maybe not quite that much, but close.

Eventually, she did make it into the general vicinity of the castle and surrounding town.  Of course, the redhead counted being within 10 miles as a reasonable distance while she knew quite well it was not really.  The upside was that Leah was 100% positive that if she kept moving and walked through the entire night, skipping the hottest part of the day, she would be in Ace of Spades before her friend became aggravated about her long journey time and the fact that she was late.  Nodding to herself, the mage set off at a brisk enough pace but kept her movements toned down from a jog so as to not waste energy.

Then right as she estimated the sun was getting to be mildly high above the horizon, the girl began to search for shelter.  Continuing to travel during the middle of the day would bring her to the worst of the sun's rays, as well as sweltering heat.  Leah hadn't brought a great deal of water with her, but it was enough to last as long as she was smart about the way she went about travelling.  She discovered a small cave that had been carved down inside of a sand dune at some point (it seemed to almost be man-made, since the cave went far back at a downward slope, so it was almost in the ground).  Taking shelter in the very front, the girl resolved to just stay here until a few hours had passed.  She was loath to go farther back, since the possibility of a collapse trapping her or killing her was less likely with a smaller amount of sand over her head and a shorter distance to travel for an escape.  Unfortunately, Leah fell asleep and was unable to travel any further that day, which wouldn't have been so bad except she couldn't even move at night.  Because it hit.

A sandstorm came howling into her ears and abruptly roused the girl; it seemed to be far away, but she was well aware of how fast the whirling dust winds could travel.  Bolting away from the light and into the end of the cave, the girl found comfort in the dry darkness and slumped against the back of the surprisingly sturdy sand wall.  This was not the place she wanted to be right now, but she was stuck here.  Twisting her fingers around and around each other, Leah waited for the storm to pass, knowing it would be a while now that she had made her decision to stay.  And it was a smart one; nobody could outrun a sandstorm, except maybe with magic.  Hers was not of that kind.

A few minutes before she expected it hit, Leah thought she caught the sound of footsteps, and instinctively she melted into the shadows.  She moved along the edge of the cave where the darkness was most concentrated and quickly arrived at the entrance.  Seeing a girl with blonde hair, the mage's eyes widened and she rushed forward to try and grab the other female's wrist.  Hissing in a thin voice, "Are ye crazy?  Ye wouldn't be safe a there, it'd sweep ye right outta this place," the emerald eyed girl tried to pull the stranger back with her, if she could.

Post by Suna Maralu 2nd April 2017, 1:01 pm

Why she was doing this again? Was a very common line of thinking that she has had through the this trip. She had gotten a letter from an old gambling friend that she had met through her adoptive family. Why would he be in this city? She didn't know, and really maybe she hoped to go on some sort of spree with him. It didn't too much matter at this point she supposed as it wasn't exactly possible to turn back now. "Just another regret." She whined to herself and kicked some sand into the air. Another one she had was wearing her non-hobby clothes. Her black coat wasn't designed to keep her cool but more for the looks. The positive though was she was able to keep the sun out of her eyes and prevent any sort of sun burn. It kept the sand off of her though so, that was also a thing.

If she had remembered to pick up a map before she had left maybe this whole situation would be easier. Her planning skills were very lacking and she failed to really ask for directions to begin with. What was her plan to get to her destination? Well, she was told there was some sort of caravan group that was heading towards the City. At the time it seemed like a simple enough task just to find their tracks but the wind had noticeably began to pick up and that made it more difficult to find anything. She had lived in a desert before and knew the signs of potentially dangerous weather. She wasn't so good at predicting when or even if it would pick anymore than what it has. The only thing she could really do is just keep walking. "Well, at least if I die I'll go out in the same way I began." She said with some light sarcasm that she couldn't prevent herself from chuckling at.

Suna traveled however many hours that had gone by with little signs of the mentioned caravan. "Really regretting not picking up a map." She muttered to herself. The air was getting cooler but the wind had not died down at all since it had started earlier. It had actually seemed comparably worse than it was earlier. The heat drop while slightly welcomed wasn't such a good thing either. The sun was quickly setting and even with her jacket the temperatures could be just as dangerous as a sandstorm. Not all was bad news though she could see a fire in the distance and that meant either people or shelter most likely both. "Unless it's a ghost setting fires. Not sure how possible that is though." She said speaking simply just to get rid of some boredom. Well if they weren't ghosts who liked setting fires she could probably make it to the source before the sandstorm hit too hard.

Determined to get to her destination Suna fought through the blowing sand and have eventually made it to where the source of light was coming from. Though something seemed odd about the light source as it didn't look like fire and had looked more like some sort of illumination from a light bulb. "Well that's odd." Suna like so many other times that day muttered to herself. What made the situation even more interesting though was she heard a fairly familiar voice hissing "Are ye crazy?" Suna's eyes brightened at hearing the familiar voice and barely hesitated to run towards it.

"Niesce!" The raven haired girl shouted louder than she had intended. She didn't know Niesce too well but hey someone to keep a conversation with would help pass the time while the storm passed over or died out. She peeked the corner to see the red headed Niesce and a young blonde girl holding the odd light source that Suna did not recognize. "I don't think you've told me you had a sister before Niesce. Oh and hello!" She said skipping any sort of hello or greeting to Niesce who she would call a friend, but she did give a cheerful hello to Niesce's little sister.

Post by Ursala 2nd April 2017, 2:01 pm

As Ursala headed into the cave she felt someone grab onto her wrist, and pull her into the cave. From what she could tell someone was pulling her into a dark mysterious cave, which she didn't appreciate to say the least. Ursala took this as a sign of attacking at first, and prepared to send her minefield at the woman in defense. Once hearing the woman's worryings she stopped the mine, and had it return by her side to illuminate the near by walls. She looked outside, and from what she could see if she had stayed out there a second longer she would've been blown away by the wind, and sand. Turning back towards the woman she bowed slightly. "Thank you." Her face remain expressionless as it always was.

She took a step towards the wall, and sat with her legs crossed. "I'm Ursala. Who might you be miss?" From what she could tell they might have to sit, and wait this storm out for a while, so she might as well get friendly with the woman that helped her. She took the small bag she had brought with her off her back, and pulled an apple out of it. She wasn't sure how long the trip to the town would be so she made sure to pack plenty of food, and water. She held the apple out, offering it to the other woman. Right then another person barged into the cave. It caught Ursala a bit by surprise, and caused her to drop the apple out of her hand. Before anything else she picked up the apple, brushed it off, and placed it back in her bag. She looked at person who just entered with a blank face. "I'm not her sister. I'm Ursala, and I assume her name must be Niesce then. " She paused for a moment to stand back up. "Welcome to the cave party." She commented sarcastically.

Now that Ursala had stood up, she headed back to the entrance of the cave. She had never seen a sand storm before. Now that the wind was blowing at full force, it was quite the spectacle. She placed her hand out into the wind, and felt sand hitting it all over. After letting her hand sit for a few seconds she pulled it back towards her body, and walked back over to the two. "I take it you two know each other?" While talking she returned to her previous position of sitting with her legs crossed on the floor. She began looking in her bag digging around for something. After digging through it for a few second she found her pouch of water. The noticed that one of them was covered in sand, and might appreciate some water to wash it off. She held it out towards the one covered in sand. "You wouldn't want water to wash off your face would you?" Ursala was never the stingy type, and always found helping others could benefit herself later so at any chance she had to do any easy favor for someone she would almost always take it up. While Ursala moved about the mine circled the cave acting as a light source whenever needed.

Post by Lacey Botticelli 2nd April 2017, 2:53 pm

At first, Leah had thought that the girl was about to deny the redhead's urging to go back into the tunnel.  That was understandable, since the emerald eyed mage had admittedly gone about warning the blonde in a rather surprising way, but it was a particularly time sensitive situation, for if she didn't get inside the cave right away, a small person like the stranger might be completely swept away and drowned in the sand.  Thankfully, the girl dressed in that seemingly impractical blue dress followed her suggestion and went with the redhead back into the end of the cave, where the loud howling of the sandstorm barely reached.  A brief thank you was given.  Leah had hardly been trying to do any good deeds just for the sake of it, but she would never like to see a stranger get killed when it wasn't necessary or for a good reason.  Nodding slightly to the girl, the redhead regarded the stone-faced visage with a slight bit of amusement, although she too did not show it.

The other girl sat down with her legs folded in front of her.  It was an interesting position to the ReQuip mage, who wasn't familiar with sitting that way; especially in something like a giant poofy skirt like what the blonde seemed to be sporting.  Nonetheless, she copied her new companion and sat with crossed legs on the firm, sandy floor of the cave.  Hearing the girl introduce herself, she said, "Like to meet ye, Urs'la.  Me friends call m' Lily, bu' you can call me Ansem nice an' proper if ye want.  Lise Ansem's me name."  Her eyes alighted on the petite girl, who seemed to be rifling through a small pack that she had brought with her.  From within was pulled a beautiful apple, which immediately stole all of Leah's interest.  Even more surprising, the girl offered her the apple; of course the redhead wanted to accept it.  After doing a surreptitious scan for any obvious sign of poison, she would probably shove the apple into her own sack of provisions.  Then reaching into it, she pulled out from her extra dimensional space (although it would seem as though they came from the bag) a box full of various kinds of snacks.  "Would ye like one?" she said in an inquiring tone.  It wouldn't hurt to be all neighborly-like if they were going to be stuck here until the storm passed.

But before Leah could actually grab the apple, another female burst into the cave, looking very much the product of standing on a sandstorm when one wasn't supposed to.  Noting with no little bit of annoyance that Ursala had dropped the apple, the redhead was about to snatch it up when the blonde beat her to it.  Furthermore, she put the piece of fruit away, much to the emerald eyed mage's dismay.  Oh well, guess she had better turn her attention to the newcomer, who was--

    Oh.

And then her name, well Niesce at least, was being shouted and there was suddenly a Suna Maralu miraculously standing there in front of them.  The dark haired girl had somehow seen the blonde's light, she assumed-- as Leah had observed that the girl seemed to shine from within very subtly-- and followed it all the way to this small cave.  Well, that was honestly very lucky.  To be completely honest, the redhead was surprised that Suna didn't seem to be much more damaged, but it was nice either way.  The girl had been at least an adequate job companion during their... work... at that cosplay place.  She really never wanted to think about that again, even if there had been free clothes and food involved.

For some reason, Suna seemed to believe that Leah was just sitting out here with her sister in a cave in the middle of the desert, trying to eat an apple.  Well, the apple part was correct, but-

"I'm not her sister. I'm Ursala, and I assume her name must be Niesce then. "  Well, that was something.  The redhead hurried to correct that assumption right away, "Me friends call me Niesce Lily, on account a' I dance sometimes an' that's me street name.  Don't get the wrong idea, bu' me real name's Lise Ansem.  This girl righ' here, she don' knows it cause we met on a job."  That should clear up some of the confusion that Ursala could possibly have been feeling at that point.  Moving on, the girl witnessed Ursala's generosity yet another time (although admittedly during the first, she hadn't really ever gotten the apple) as the blonde offered Suna some water to wash off her face with.  It was a mistake to waste too much of the precious liquid in the desert, but being able to see proper would be nice.  In the mean time, Leah took it upon herself to get up and walk down the length of the cave, moving closer towards the entrance.  She somehow felt like the storm was about to finish passing through their area, but it wouldn't hurt to catch.

Her suspicions were easily confirmed, as the billowing sand seemed to have thinned out considerably.  She returned to the small circle that was illuminated by Ursala, but on the way, a new oddity caught her eye.  There was another passage branching off of the end of the cave, but it was small and barely noticeable due to its position in the shadows.  Making an uncharacteristically bold decision to rush through it, the girl was basically running in a crouch for a few minutes until she spotted that a ways away, there seemed to be a flickering light, almost as if flames were dancing in the strong winds of the desert.  But it was underground, wasn't it?  Curious but not wanting to abandon her new companions lest they be confused and should she require backup, Leah maneuvered herself around and hurried back to where the two other girls were.

"There wouldn't happen t' be one a' yer friends, Ursala, would it?  There's sommat of a strange ligh' in a passage... go see fer yerself."  If the two left to go look, they could trust that Leah would be right behind them, but not in front so as to not obscure the view for their observations.

She rubbed the back of her hood as she watched the apple fall down to the ground."Woops. Sorry..." She gave a rather short apology as she watched the adorable child pick it back up and put it away. For whatever reason she denied that the two were even sisters, maybe she felt embarrassed. Though Neisce said the same thing which was odd. Suna just looked at the two and went with a new assumption. That being the two weren't supposed to be out here. "Aw you two don't have to be embarrassed! It's fine to bring your little sister into a desert, I won't tell anyone." Suna said seriously and cheerfully with no sarcasm hinted at all. Suna lowered her hood and flashed the two a smile. Niesce had given some sort of long explanation that in truth Suna only half listened to.

"Though I wouldn't know why you'd want to be embarrassed especially when she's so nice." Suna said again with her normal cheerfulness as Ursala had offered her a water bottle. Suna reached for the bottle but stopped herself before accepting the offer. "Oh right I have sand all over my outfit..." She said as she took off her gloves and placed them into a side pocket. "Might as well avoid trying to get any sand into the water." She said as she opened the bottle and poured some water in her left now gloveless hand. As she brought up her hands a dark purple coloring could be seen on her forearm. She splashed the water in her hand onto her face wiping off as much sand from it as possible. She put the cap back on and placed the water back into Ursala's hands. "Thanks, sand in one's eye isn't that great of a thing." She gave an amused chuckle as it turned into a confused "huh?".

Niesce had apparently gone missing while Suna had gotten rid of all the sand from her face. "She doesn't expect me to be a babysitter does she?" She asked more to herself than to the small Ursala. Her concerns were removed when Niesce had returned saying something about a strange light. "Oh you brought more people?" She asked to whoever would answer.

Ursala looked at the newcomer in confusion. Why was she so persistant on calling them sisters? She didn't even think they looked anything alike, after all the idea that they were sister's was very literally impossible considering how Ursala was made. She was about to protest further, but was interrupted when Niesce abruptly run off. A few seconds later the newcomer made some comment about being Ursala's babysitter, and Ursala decided to brush it off, just to ignore it. She walked towards the other light source with caution. "No I have not brought any allies along." She walked towards the light at a quick pace curious about what it was. She broke out into a run as the light grew brighter, and brighter signalling it was getting closer. Ursala truly was the curious type. She'd follow her curiousity no matter what trouble it got her into, and in this case it led her straight to two torches on the walls of the cave. After walking further she found a dead end, but something wasn't right. The wall of the dead end wasn't rigid like the walls of the cave. It was straight, and look man made. It was smooth, and flat. On it was the classic sign for pirates. It was a skull with two bones crossed under it. Ursala recognized it well, it was actually very similar to her own guild marking. She rubbed the mark on her neck, and decided to figure out what this was all about.

She immidiantly started checking around the wall picking up stones, and pulling on the torches. "Whenever there's something like this there's always a secret lever to open a secret entrance. There wouldn't be a random pirate marking here for nothing." Ursala searched picking up, and pulling on anything she could find. Nothing seemed to work. After a few minutes of searching Ursala eventually gave up. She felt rather disappointed her idea didn't work out. "I guess the idea of a secret entrance is rather ludicrous. I'm still curious wh-"

    "Hrmph"

While walking around searching Ursala had walked to the wall, and leaned on it. It flew open from Ursala's wieght, and caused her to fall to the ground in an ungraceful display. Ursala waited a moment on the floor in disbelief. She stood back up, and attempted to regain her posture while staring at the now open door. "Huh...." Ursala looked around hoping no one saw. Her mine quickly buzzed around the corner. Orginally Ursala had thought she'd been attacked, and called on it. Seeing as there was no danger Ursala allowed it to patrol the area once again. She looked inside the entrance, and saw a long narrow hall way filled with torches. In between the torches were human skulls adorned much like art. Ursala figured whoever built this place must not have been the friendliest person.

The girl followed Ursala back towards the outside of the desert, stopping behind her once again at the small passageway.  Squeezing through behind her new companions, the redhead grumbled slightly under her breath about the tight fit; being a tallish girl, it wasn't exactly the most idea situation for her.  Finally, they made it into a small cavern (yeah yeah, oxymoron there) where there seemed to be two torches stuck in holders on the wall.  It seemed to be an odd place to have lighting, as nobody ever tried to create a passage way simply for the sake of having one there for people to follow to an end.  Such a thing would only be silly.  The problem was, despite her knowledge that something about this dead end was not right, the redhead couldn't think of a way to get through short of digging yet another tunnel through the dirt.  Moving over to the wall itself, Leah pressed on it gently, feeling the sand crumble softly under her fingers.  Backing away, lest it decide to completely collapse, the girl shot a look at her companions that said, Don't touch the wall, but she doubted that both of them had noticed.  Ursala apparently didn't, but fortunately, it did seem as though she had a plan, albeit a strange one; the blonde began to scout along the edge of the wall.  Her fingers grasped for pebbles and stones that littered the perimeter of the space, and upon passing a torch she reached up and yanked on it.  But to no avail, for there was absolutely no effect whatsoever.

Rather than saying any discouraging words, Leah only opened her mouth to remark that perhaps they ought to try magic of some sort when the formally dressed girl leaned against the wall with what seemed to be all her weight.  Panicking slightly, the emerald eyed mage rushed forward with one hand outstretched, ready to pull her off of the structure before the entire network of passages collapsed on their head, but-

But the wall was gone.  It had either fallen to the ground and somehow dissolved, or it had moved to the side; the girl hadn't seen which; yet no matter how the miracle had occurred, the block was well and truly gone.  Smiling faintly at Ursala, the redhead hurried through the opening after extending her hand towards the ground to help up her fellow female.  "It wasn't so ludicrous after all," she remarked as the group continued onwards down the hallway.  There didn't seem to be much in here, aside from perhaps some skulls (alright, a lot of skulls) and some more torches.  Was this a trap?  Where exactly did these thin corridors lead anyways?  Leah's expression remained positively neutral (ha, she was so funny look at that physics oxymoron- nope?  nope.) but inwardly, the redhead became more and more discouraged with each step they took.  That was, until the skeletons danced out of the darkness up ahead.

Of course, that was all figurative speech.  Truly, the girls had approached a point where the tunnel widened into more of a room, the shape of which happened to be rather circular.  Inside were several skeleton soldiers and a couple archers, and the latter of the two groups seemed to be having a rough time.  It was nothing particularly strange to her (actually, it was) to see humans and undead battling in what was basically the basement of the desert, so Leah had no problem striding up to one of the skeletons and reqipping a knife for the sole sake of using the pommel to bash him on the skull.  Being only bones and all, it wasn't as though the sharp part was particularly useful, since the substance was actually quite strong.  The archers seemed to be encouraged by her presence, probably because her actions were those of an ally.  In reality?  The redhead was slightly put off by the idea of slicing and dicing fellow humans in front of her companions, before she knew whether they were opposed to the idea of murdering strangers.  And she had never much liked the models they had used in biology class, anyways... geez, why did everything seem like a throwback to science class? Was it really a Grave Robbing 101 tutorial?

The answer from Ursala which was essentially a no did not set well to Suna. She wasn't the cautious type but who knows what was going to be back there. "Ghosts probably." She muttered her earlier, albeit wrong theory, however she had a feeling that it was right this time. Whatever it was Suna followed behind Ursala while listening to the mutterings and cursings of the very tall Niesce. Suna would have been mutterimg her own curses if she herself had been any taller or wider. Small areas like this made the blue-eyed girl uneasy. She would have stayed back but her attention to detail was lacking. Suna just followed behind two two trying not to panic too much.

Suna couldn't be more thankful as she saw the slightly larger area become lighter with what she presumed was the fires that had brought them into this awful space to begin with. She had ignored most of whatever the two siblings were doing more concerned with some sort of cave in. The rumblings were terrifying and the smell that came along with the unwelcomed sounds made her worried. Suna had a sort of knack for being able to smell out blood, which while yes she should question why at the moment it was a low priority. turned quickly on the spot to see that the blonde haired girl fall down as a stone flew open. Was she bleeding? Though the answer was probably no as the scent was stronger than what a small bruised knee would have.

Suna for the most part ignored Ursala as a blood scent meant something was going on. Not really wanting to get her hands dirty she put her sandy gloves, which she knew was a bit odd as she still got some sand onto her hands. Whatever was up there though she'd rather have her hands cleaned. Stepping by the fallen Ursala walked through the opened passage. Hearing the sounds of some sort of battle Suna stopped for a moment. Suna hadn't brought anything on her trip and was weaponless so, not wanting to be that she grabbed the nearest large bone from the passage of skulls and bones. She caught up to Niesce who was standing over a collapsed skeleton. "That would explain the smell of blood." She said as she looked at the two non-skeletons who admittedly had only a small amount of red on them it was enough to know the losing side. 'It would probably be better to end them now...' She thought to herself but Niesce seemed to be in support of the humans so Suna would follow along.

Getting a tight grip on her makeshift bone club she took a heavy swing at a nearby skeleton's head. The skeleton amusingly fell down as it's head cracked into a wall. "I don't think I've hit a skeleton before. It's interesting. She said to whoever was listening.

Ursala felt rather embarrassed seeing both of them in the cave with her when she fell, and her cheeks may have gotten rosy, but her expression remained the same. She prepared to run into the passage herself, but both Niesce, and Suna ran ahead of her. She started running in, but before she made it all the way there she could hear people fighting. "Did they run into something?" Ursala hurried along the path worried about the two. She wasn't sure if either could use magic, or fight in any way making her unsure if they were okay.

Upon reaching the end of the passage she found it expanded into a larger cave. Inside were two skeletons, and two archers. She saw that one of the skeletons had already been taken down by Suna, and Niesce seemed to be doing just fine as well. She calmed now knowing that they could both handle themselves. She turned her attention back to the archers. Both were badly wounded, but still conscious, and writhing in pain. She unfused her mine back into 5 smaller mines. She pointed her hand at the two. They started rubbing their eyes frantically yelling things such as "I can't see!" and "Where is everything?". She knew it wouldn't last long based on her previous experiences with the mines, but it would be long enough. One was near death, but the other would most likely survive with some medical attention. Ursala casted Healing Touch, and grabbed the hand of the one near death. Within seconds his wounds closed. The one she healed started batting his hands in her direction to swat her away. She stepped away quickly, and got near the other. She ripped off a part of her skirt, and forcibly held held his arm. In most occasions Ursala would never be able to hold another person still, but his arm was very obviously broken, and unmovable by him. She wrapped the cloth from her skirt around his arm to help keep it still, and walked away. She picked up two larger stones off the ground, and threw them at the archers heads. Because they had been blinded both stones easily hit their marks, and knocked the archers out.

She watched them for a moment to make sure they wouldn't wake up, and once she was sure they were out cold she moved on to the skeletons. She moved as close to one as she could without being in it's attack ranger, and casted Holy Blast. Ursala pointed her palm at it of the skeletons, and small bursts of light radiated from it. Since she had moved close ranger only one of the bursts missed it's mark.

The girl was glad that these skeletons didn't seem to resemble zombies in their movements.  Rather than having each appendage act independently of the brain, they all seemed to still be connected by some magical system of nerves and brain or main control center impulses.  Leah was glad for this, since it meant that the signals to move or attack failed to go through if the bones were injured in a similar way to people.  Keeping this in mind, the girl requipped two of her High Imperial Daggers, still standing right near where the first skeleton had fallen after smacking into a wall.  Swiftly stepping towards the one that Ursala had chosen to attack, she severed the skull from the torso and then with two more small cuts, removed the arms.  Kicking the skeletal soldier in the lower stomach, the redhead sent it flying into another wall, breaking at least a few bones and rendering the creature incapable of continuing its movements towards the blonde, since it had begun to do so after noting where the blast of light had come from.

Next, there was still the other one to deal with.  Jumping up as high as she could, using the ground and bent knees as a sort of trampoline, the mage leaped over the head of the skeleton in one fluid movement.  Her red hair brushed against the ceiling of the cave (it was, after all, not a very tall cavern) but fortunately Leah managed to not brain herself against the stone.  The process was easily repeated after she landed behind the skeleton; its eyes didn't appear to function in the same way as peoples' did, so there wasn't much of peripheral vision or sight above or below.  She still had been caught sight of, but the skeleton's reflexes weren't particularly great either, so dismembering the monster was easy.  There was barely any resistance, after all.

Turning to nod at Suna and Ursala, signifying that they were finished in this room, the redhead glanced around the area.  It appeared that the most eye-catching path was the same one they had taken to get into here, but there had to be another exit... aha!  Striding over to the western wall of the roundish room, the emerald eyed girl gestured briefly to a slim passage before she slipped inside.  Her eyes took a moment to adjust to the instant darkness before Leah felt confident enough to step forwards into the thick blackness.  There were walls pressed against her shoulders on either side, but thankfully she didn't happen to be broad across her back and was able to make it through without any actual incidents of getting stuck or such.  And upon making it near enough that the light from the target room shone into the pathway... oh, boy!  There were thick iron bars blocking her from getting the perfect view of the scene, but she could see that there was a richly decorated coffin lying in the center of the room on a raised stone slab.  Unfortunately, stepping towards it from the opposite wall was a ruggedly dressed man with beady eyes and a large pole arm in his hand.  The man did set it against the wall to continue forwards and reach towards the coffin, apparently with the intention of opening it.

Hell no, the redhead thought brusquely, and she kicked out the iron grate in front of her.  The bolts or hinges were thankfully rusted enough that the attempt actually worked, rather than snapping her leg in two or something.  As Leah barged into the room, the bandit glanced up and didn't even bother to glower at her.  Snatching up his weapon, the man lunged forwards in a strike that the girl just barely avoided by diving towards the ground, to the side.  Hopefully, Ursala and Suna would be alright and wouldn't be hit by the pole arm, which had ended up stabbing into the hole she just came out of.  She scrambled across the floor a bit farther away and stared at the man, who sneered at her from not quite across the room.  It was quite obvious that she was now unarmed, her daggers having skittered across the cavern in the struggle.  The redhead hurried to put more space in between her and the bandit, scooting further away from the dark passage she had emerged from and continuing towards the opposite side of the room.  Indeed, there was another opening there, but it wasn't what her aim was.  Fortunately, the man seemed to be fooled into believing it was, so he hurried forwards, ready to prevent an escape.

Leah smiled and stood up, holding her two arms straight out perpendicular to her body.  "Mine, all mine!" she murmured with a victorious smirk edging at the corners of her lips.  The bandit paused momentarily in his confusion at her odd actions before the High Imperial Daggers, which were now directly behind him and forming a line with the man as a point in the center, flew towards her glowing fingertips and crashed into the back of his head.  It was only the pommels, since the spell was designed to let her blades come back to her hands in order to fight again without surely losing just on account of being disarmed.  Therefore, the double strike didn't kill him; still, no ordinary thief could handle being whammed in the back of his skull without experiencing at least a bit of dizziness, nausea, or incapability to move for a bit.  So Leah calmly rose to her feet, requipped another dagger, and sauntered over to the man.  Leaning over him to stare at the dilated pupils and dazed expression, the redhead whispered softly (her companions might be able to hear it, they might not if they had ordinary senses), "You won't ever try to steal my gold again."  And then she calmly stabbed her knife through his throat, aiming for the general area of the carotid artery.  To be fair, the fact that ended up cutting through half of the stem in all probably meant that she did hit the target even if it was a messy way to go about doing it.

Straightening back up with a smile at her two companions, Leah asked in a much more normal tone of voice, "So, who's down to collect some treasure?"  Without waiting for a real response, the girl walked over to the coffin and dragged the lid off of it; if either Suna or Ursala (or both) helped, the task would go along much faster and easier, but the redhead could manage it herself.  Eventually, when the cover was off, a few pieces of armor, three, odd-looking rounded stones about the shape of oranges, and an enormous pile of jewels was revealed.  Glancing over at her companions, Leah shrugged before reaching in and helping herself to one of the sets of armor and one of the funny rocks.  Scooping a bunch of jewels into a sack improved her spirits immensely, and as the emerald eyed mage requipped all of her booty back into her interdimensional space, she smiled with what seemed to be genuine appreciation at the two other females.  "See you around," she said with an easy wink.  The girl bent over to sweep up a few grains of sand from the ground up into her palm, and she swallowed them.  Because Ursala and Suna had both trodden on that same ground, it would enable her to find them later with her special magic, should it be necessary to follow up on any leads they discovered from these interesting greyish spheres.  Waving a final friendly good-bye to the ones who had been her comrades for the duration of the mission, Leah stepped out through the path that the bandit leader had presumably taken to reach the same location as them.  Well well well, she supposed to herself, I hope I actually manage to actually make it to Ace of Spades this time around, hm? the girl thought, referring to the trip she still had to make.  The treasure she had gained from the detour was probably worth the ire of her impatient friend, but who knew?

The other two seemed like they were capable of handling themselves as they handled the skeletons and bandits rather easily. Suna had even propped herself up on her makeshift bone as she watched the two go about their work. After all was said and done Niesce gave a nod. Suna not wanting to walk into any sort of trap held back for a moment awkwardly waiting with Ursala. She eventually joined her ally and came in at the end as Niesce had in what Suna could only describe as a very gruesome take down of a bandit."Not sure if Ursala saw that but good job." She said giving a thumbs up to the red haired girl. The prospect of collecting treasure was enticing to the Suna and with little hesitation she scooped up whatever she could and threw what she could into her side pockets. She even grabbed a set of really fancy looking armor and some sort of shiny rock. "See you two later." Suna gave her own good bye as she waved to the two and left towards the way the trio had originally come through.
