Th clouds parted, drawing a bead of moonlight to light the pathway that Cereza took. Her steps were slow, light, and touched gracefully on the ground for seconds before she made another careful step. Her feet were bare, tracing steps her mind was telling her to go. If she had an intention to her direction, she didn't reveal it in her actions, an unwavering need to follow the guidance of her patron leading her to the steps of a moss-entombed doorway and stonework building. Though only the door revealed itself, the moss betrayed the true magnificence of the cathedral that lay dormant in the flora. She carefully crouched below the vine-like tendrils of plant matter and went in, her eyes adjusting to ore darkness in lieu of proper moonlight now.

It took her several minutes of scratching around in the dark to find her prize: several long candles still in their place at altars on the sides of the inner sanctum. She took the time to light them and shed the thinnest amount of light into the interior. It would take far too long to light all of the candles. Best to just find what she was here for and move on. Her steps across the central aisle led her across a large, round, central area likely used for rituals, as this part of the cathedral still held the taller stands and several candles still in place for worship. Whatever god was worshiped before was obviously gone, or they would not condone a defilement like this.

Her heavy footstep landed in the central circular design and she stopped, taking stock of the area. The light of the moon shone through this part through the tall windows, leaving everything with a very haunted look. But what did she care. She knelt and prepared to settle in for her usual meditation, to be told where to go next, or if she had reached her destination.
