    Description:
    The history of this magic is a little murky at best. It’s some that Requin is still trying to come to terms with. It was something he picked up after the consumption of a being, a demon he believed. This being was charged somewhat, and it reacted with an artifact he had on him at the time. It didn’t mean much to the savage eater till a few weeks later when he began to pick up the ability to feel people around him with his eyes closed. It wasn’t just mages he was feeling, but also animals with no magic within them at all. He played with that ability for several months before taking to try something, and that something was interesting for him. It was with a clap that he felt lightning crack back and forth from his fingers. It truly had his interest to the degree he decided to play around with it for a few more years in the unknown lands till he finally did it by accident. He forced. Scales, yellow ones had spread across his body with a arch of lightning coming from his back that resembled a fin. This had happened when he decided to ‘eat’ a bolt of pure lightning that came from the air.

    Strengths:

    • Lightning is the fastest thing that occurs in the natural world. Nothing has ever been recorded to move or strike faster than a bolt of lightning. Requin is able to deliver strikes that at times are nearly impossible to dodge, or for the fact of the matter, entirely impossible to perceive with them with the speed they move.
    • Water is a good conductor of Lightning, and thus, if Requin manages to hit a Water mage or a Water Slayer that has a part of his body covered in water, he can deal 35% additional damage added to the damage of the spell.
    • After water, Metal is the next best conductor of lightning and thus, if Requin manages to hit a metal mage or a metal slayer that has part of his body covered, or coated with metal, he can deal 35% additional damage added to the damage of the spell.
    • While on the ground targets are usually grounded slightly to allow the extra electricity that Requin would force into them to slip out eventually, those in the air have a harder time as they have to touch the ground. This means Wind based mages who are in the sky, or have their feet not touching the physically solid earth take 35% additional damage from his magic.
    • Requin is able to consume any form of lightning usually. May it be from a normal lightning mage, lightning dragon slayer, or even a demon slayer. This also goes to say he is able to consume lightning that strikes from the sky. It goes a bit further as to allow him to consume electricity from electrical lines, or machines.


    Weaknesses:

    • Unable to consume the lightning created by the God slayer variant of his magic.
    • All of his spells, regardless of the power behind them are instantly cut in half when making contact with a mass of rubber that would be able equal to the surface area that would be effected by the spell.
    • Unlike most elemental mages, Requin is unable to manipulate external sources of his element. Leaving him with only the ability to consume or conjure them.
    • Requin spells are naturally weak against earth or rock based magic as they generally counter his magic, considering that they ground out his spells. This makes him magic do 50% less damage against earth and rock mages that are covered in rock or earth
    • Requin is able to consume his respective element to refil his energy and restore his vitality. However, as per normal slayers, he is unable to actually consume the lightning that he creates.
    • While metal mages are possibly unfortunate targets of his spells, he is also victim of natural law with their spells and attraction. Higher ranked metal spells are able to attract his spell, diverting them from their target.

    [*] Bio electric sensory: A trick Requin picked up that he didn’t know he had really till after coming out of the twilight. He is able to pick up the bio-electric impulses of any living, or non living thing around him. The range of this ability is directly linked to his magic sensory. To him, each and every wavelength, or impulse has something unique about it, making it so that he can remember who someone is next time he meets them, or detect them coming.

    [*] Elemental Body: The base of being a slayer is being able to turn their body into the element that they eat. Some often ignore this as being a talent that can be improved on and simply just use it periodically for some spells. Others, like Requin, actually use this ability more often than they do. Due to Requin’s over time use of this, he has become somewhat of a lightning elemental only in status. When being struck with a non-magical melee hit he will take 50% of the damage, as the rest of the force behind is mitigated by his non-physical form and returns 10% back to the attacker. Moving on from that, Magical attacks that aren’t of element that Requin is naturally weak against deals 20% less damage to him while those he is weak against aren’t effected by this.
