The young itachi had been meaning to get acquainted with the Ace of Topaz for quite some time now. I mean their in the same team, yet neither of them have even met yet. The only reason he was in this team, Kamikaze, was because his guildmaster had invited him to for unknown reasons. Yet he didn't even know the others, Neyvahn he met once, but they didn't really talk. He seemed fun to bother, but again, he didn't really know them. Then their was Elyx and Astrid, the two from a guild named Golden Phoenix. He had been meaning to meet the both of them for a while, and finally saw a job, why not invite someone that was a rank above himself. He wasn't to eager to talk to someone as powerful as the guildmaster of Golden Phoenix, so he would leave that to another time. But from what he heard about this slayer, she sounded like an absolute delight. A very nice and helpful young girl, around the age of his own physical age.
He got a hold of her, and they had decided to meet at the transportation station that would help anybody who wanted to, get to the land form that held the Ancient Ruins. He had just recently gotten their himself, and was wandering about close by. Figuring he could easily enough pick her from the crowd. It was rather hard not knowing about her after all, even being someone as uncivilized as himself. She is the first Rising Star, whatever that was, but apparently being that made her famous. Long silver hair, fair skin, crimson eyes and lastly a delightful smile on her complexion. She seemed like a very interesting person to be acquainted with, plus he wasn't quite sure how people leaning more towards innocent, reacted to his usual shenanigans. He currently stood on the roof of a small building, staring down at the tiny crowd of people who were arriving, keeping his eye out for the small mage.

Astrid was pretty much in the same position as her fellow team mate, whom she still had to meet in person. No longer being able to have a team with her brother after they went their separate ways the young slayer had flown solo for a while, forming a team to do missions being the last thing on her mind. After all, though it would be nice, having a team wasn't necessary for missions, and Astrid didn't exactly feel the need to instantly form a team again. She guessed, if someone invited her to one, she would accept. But she wouldn't go out of her way to join.
Which, is exactly how she got sucked into joining team Kamikaze. It was Elyx who did it, really. He asked her to join his team, and like the faithful student she was, she complied without a second thought. I mean, who wouldn't want to be in a team with their idol, right?
But it didn't hit the girl until later... That a certain person was also in the team. Izayuki. The guild master the ace had dubbed as bad luck incarnated. Whenever she was around, Astrid or the people she loved got hurt. And even after their little talk upon Phoenix Mountains, the actions she did.... The things she said... It confused the silvernette even more. And soon enough, that confusion turned to dislike. She didn't want to dislike her teacher's wife, in fact that was the last thing she ever wanted to do. She wants to like the god slayer so much, yet, the woman has not given her a reason to.
Even with this weighing heavily on her mind, the violinist knew it was too late to back out now. And official, she was a Kamikaze member.
Well, she guessed she had Elyx, her beloved mentor. And Ney, he was nice, only meeting him a few times. But then there was Itazura... She had no idea who he was besides that he was in Black Rose. So that being said, when she had received a message from him, asking to do a mission, she did not hesitate to agree right away. On top of the mission sounding amazing, getting to see some of the original wizard saint's items, she also got to meet the final member of her team. She had no reason to deny him... Well, other than her busy scheduled. But she had made sure to clear everything to do this. This was rather important for her to do, meeting a person she was going to take with on future missions. She wondered, what'd he be like... The team was already full of color people. So what was Itazura?
A wobbly hand gripped the side of the metal railing leading down from the small boat, the dragon slayer's skin turning a sickly green. Crimson eyes watered, staring down at the ground, knowing looking up would cause her to throw up the food she was trying to keep down right now. Ah, yes. Motion sickness. A common weakness of dragon slayer magic. It seems that also counted for boats too, something the girl just found out the hard way.
Her cheeks puffed out like a chipmunk, trying to suck in as much air to try and calm the sickness down. But to no use. Even though now she was off of the boat it still stayed with her, turning her stomach in circles.
Unable to take a step onto the land, the light mage continued to hold onto the railing of board connecting the ship to the land, her small frame shaking.
"This... This is how i die... I'm going to die. It's too much." She wheezed out through bated breath, feeling a fierce wave of nausea build up to the bottom of her throat.
"Ma'am, we're about to leave, you have to get on or off" one of the sailors from the door called down to Astrid.
"You couldn't... P-ay me enough... To get back on that death machine..." she wheezed back in response. Though he was right. Soon enough the boat would have to set sail again, and they needed the board that connected them to the land in order to get off again... Looks like she'd have to try.
Though slowly, the slayer started shuffling down the board, her grip loosening slightly so she could move. But only after a couple steps, another wave of sickness consumed the girl's body, to which she squatted down shakily, sucking in a breath of air to stop herself from throwing up into the ocean.
"Sweet release of death come to me" She painfully groaned out, no longer able to move at all, tightening her grip upon the bars to hold her up.
"M-Ma'am..." The sailor sweat dropped, watching the mage struggle.

It was probably another few minutes before a new boat docked, he had made himself comfortable squatting atop the roof where nobody seemed to notice him. To ease his creeping appetite, he had caught a little squirrel that scurried across the roof. Eating up the last bits of the rodent, licking it's blood off of his lips he shifted his hazel gaze towards the boat. The crew of the ship was requesting a young women, who appeared to be suffering from sea sickness, to get off considering that they needed to leave. Though by coincidence this woman was his teammate that he was waiting for. Licking the last of the blood off of his claws, he sheathed them. With little effort he jumped from the roof of the small building, to the deck of the boat next to the silverette. Landing with his knees bent, he just lowered himself into a squat, looking up at her fair colored complexion "Well ello miss" the itachi greeted with a grin on his face. Some bits of his recent meal still on his face.
His hands rested on his knees as he squatted a comfortable distance from the slayer, as to not crowd the eighteen year old. Who wasn't in her best condition, and could throw up any moment if she couldn't prevent it. Though the young yokai didn't seem bothered at all by her pain, and wasn't offering up any help. Nah, he wasn't that type of person. You would have to ask him for help, and even then he might or might not do it. There really isn't any reliant way to get him to do something unless he wants to do it. Cause sometimes when you ask, he is tempted not to do it. He is just useful that way. Though there was no saying that the weasel could even help in this situation.

Feeling something land beside her, the silvernette gathered up enough energy to look the boy's way without spewing her breakfast all over him. The sickly girl studied him for a moment, glazed over optics staring at what seemed to be pieces of food around his mouth. What it was? She probably didn't want to know... But by this boy's weasel-like appearance, this was most likely her team mate. Or at least, she assumed. It was probably a bit rude of her to say he looked like a weasel, but well, he was in fact a weasel. A weasel youkai, to be exact. First Izayuki, now this guy. How many youkai creatures were out there? Well, as long as he was more friendly than his fellow youkai she saw no problem in trying to befriend him.
Swallowing down another wave of nausea the slayer thought best to introduce herself, just in case this was in fact her team mate.
"H-Hello, monsieur-" just when she thought she was safe, a sudden violent rush of sickness consumed her. Caught off guard the ace quickly turned her head back to the railing, luckily, just in time to release her digested food into the ocean. Well, don't know how lucky it actually was that she ended up throwing up anyway, but at least it wasn't on Itazura. That would have ruined their first meeting... Not that throwing up in the first place was the best thing for an introduction... But it could have been worse.
Shivering, Astrid groaned, retracting her head back to the metal railing, closing her eyes and resting her forehead on the bars to cool herself down with, concentrating on trying to not throw up again. Though the acidic taste within her mouth didn't help much. In fact, it just made her want to vomit more.
"S-Sorry fishies..." the slayer murmured out an apology to the sea creature that had to now swim around in that.
"Hey, boy!" One of the sailors called down to Itazura.
"You mind helpin' her off? We gotta go."

The itachi wasn't really fazed by her wave of sickness that caused her to puke over the side of the boat. Why would he be? He isn't disgusted easily, or at all really, I mean he just ate a squirrel raw, you think he cares? No, the answer is no. The young looking yokai just continued on grinning as he stood up, his hazel optics looking over at the sailors who were shouting at him to get the eighteen year old off the boat. He pursed his lips and looked back a the tiny young woman, guess they did needed to get the job going, though he didn't really remember what it was. And he was the person that picked out the job, you think he would remember these things. But Itazura isn't really the person you expect to remember things like that, he only remembers what he feels like remembering. Or things he doesn't want to remember, cause who ever forgets that? He is a rather odd creature, he is. Guess he would have to look at that paper again, wherever he put that. Placing a smile back on his face, he easily picked up the small girl within his arms. Though he could carry anybody bridal style easily, it felt for him as if he wasn't holding anything.
"Pardon me" he said, chuckling softly as he swiftly hopped off of the boat and on deck. He then looked back and smiled at the slightly irritated crew of the boat, they just ignored him and went on with what they were supposed to be doing. The weasel gently set the girl on the ground, then he brought his hands into his pants pockets "Nice to finally meet you, Astrid was it?" the boy asked, curiously studying the young slayer who still wasn't in her best condition. Poor girl had a hard time on the ocean the yokai guessed.

Little to say picking someone up who was stricken with motion sickness was not going to help the matter at all. In fact, she was just going to make things worse. Being too sick to care or protest the girl was easily swept up and carried away from the irritated ship crew, though the action itself caused her to try and swallow down another wave of nausea she could feel creep back into her system. You would think having already thrown up once would solve it, but apparently not. While she did not think she would throw up again her body apparently didn't agree with her. And while it was true she may not throw up again due to the fact that she probably just threw up everything she had today, it would not stop the feeling of sick running through her body. Honestly she would take throwing up again over just feeling sick. At least she got the tiniest bit of relief from releasing her food, but now that she couldn't it would just be a long time of feeling ill and not being able to do anything about it.
Feeling her team mate settle her onto the ground Astrid tried to stand up, but was instantly hit with lightheadedness, feeling the world around her spin and distort.
Wobbling in place she grabbed her head with one hand and Itazura with the other, gripping onto his shoulder as to not fall completely onto the floor.
"N-Nice to meet you t-too, Itazura. I apologize f-for my condition. Dragon slayer magic is a blessing and a c-curse." The girl managed to stutter out, looking up to the man with a sickly red gaze and smile.
Seriously why did dragon slayers get motion sickness anyway? It made almost no sense. She wished there was some sort of explanation for it. At least that way she could try to fix it. But despite her research on the magic there was absolutely nothing but the basics.

His hazel gaze shifted around, looking at the small hand that held onto him as to help her not fall over from the dizziness. She managed to stutter out a sentence or two to the young yokai, who stayed silent. He let out a slight 'oh' and a slight chuckle in response to her, of course she was a dragon slayer, he sort of forgot about that. Then he remembered he was the only non-slayer on the team he was in, which was sort of weird to think about, but it didn't really bother him to much. Well not right now anyways. Odd coincidence that almost everybody in the team turned out to have some sort of slayer magic. The itachi looked around, upon seeing a bench he pointed to it "Shall we sit then?" and without waiting to receive an answer the weasel started to walk over to the bench that was a couple yards away from them. Walking slowly as to not startle Astrid's stomach anymore then he already had when he escorted her forcefully off the boat. He helped her sit, staying quiet as she groaned in pain and discomfort. He hopped beside her and squatted, his usual odd sitting position.
The young looking boy scratched his face, noticing some blood still their he attempted to wipe it off. As they sat in silence he dropped his hand back down to rest on the bench between his leg, thinking and trying to remember something about the job they were about to do. And of course the first thing that he remembered was that they were going to be able to have an item after finding, something..... Oh yes, a large trove of treasures hidden very deep into the Ancient Ruins. He turned his head over to the small eighteen year old "Will we be able to go soon Astrid?" he said, and for once not adding some suffix to her name, like he usually does to people names. Even if he did just meet them, he tends to act like he's best friends with whoever he just meets. Even if they don't really approve of him doing so. He was just annoying like that.
Itazura looked back to the ground and spoke, suggesting something that may or may not be helpful "I know a spell that might be able to help, I've never really tried it on anything besides wounds though, so it might not work if your sick" he said plainly, no real emotion in his tone or on his expression. He twiddled his thumbs and stayed silent, waiting for a response from the white dragon slayer. Having to give her time to speak because people who are nauseous really don't feel like talking, it just makes them feel even worse.

The young slayer followed closely behind the youkai, making sure to keep her grip on his shoulder firm as to not risk falling to the ground in a sick pile of bones and flesh.
Thankfully the bench Itazura pointed out was not too far away, only a couple of steps. But to Astrid the couple of steps it took to get there might as well have been a marathon. One step felt like a thousand, every one taken constantly reminding her of the pain she felt in her stomach. Needless to say once she finally got there, she flopped down sluggishly, her head resting backwards onto the brick wall behind the two. She closed her eyes, trying to concentrate on her breathing rather than the sickness. She did not move even an inch when the weasel offered a solution to their problem, it took too much energy to even turn her head to the side slightly right now. Instead, she simply spoke softly, as if just saying the words pained her.
"Anything's better than nothing."
If it failed, at least they tried. But at least trying something out would be better than doing nothing and just leaving her with this motion sickness. If there was a chance it'd work, she'd try it.

The weasel looked back at the mage after she eventually replied to his suggestion, taking a quiet deep breath he hopped up from his comfortable spot beside the white dragon slayer. Standing up straight on his bare feet he turned to face the young woman, he wasn't to experienced in his new abilities of time and space magic. But he could at least give it a try, nothing really bad could come out of him failing besides maybe they need to wait longer to actually conduct the mission, and maybe take her to the doctor for some medicine and some rest. He wasn't particularly sure. The itachi placed his hand in front of Astrid, pointing more towards her stomach. No reason it wouldn't work on sickness right? If it can repair objects or heal wounds, it is just him casting a spell that makes an isolated space, and anything within it gets reversed to a time before.
He casted the spell, and it started to work it's magic, reversing time in parts of the girl's body, hopefully reversing her sickness. "Feel any better?" the weasel asked with a slight chuckle, instinctively scratching the back of his neck as he dropped the hand he used to cast the spell. He gladly didn't have to hold it there, he just couldn't go more then a meter away from her, otherwise the spell would break. Luckily they weren't really doing anything at the moment besides seeing if his spell would work. And Itazura was betting that it would, not that he really had much confidence in his abilities. Just because it made sense to work.

Only works if the mage is right up close to what he is casting the spell on. This can also be used as a shield to protect what he is trying to fix, takes 2 C-Rank hits or one B-Rank hit to break the isolated space.

It was a strange sensation to have solely your body reverse back in time, and in this case, a bit of a pain. Before she could be free from the illness she had to relive being sick again, but in reverse. The nauseating feeling of once again having a full stomach and in turn wanting to throw up came back to her for a second time. And for those few split seconds, she felt as though she was going to regret this whole thing. But soon enough, after a few more moments the feeling passed with no remaining sickness in her body. She felt better. No. Better wasn't even the right word. Fantastic. Like she had just discovered the cure of a illness or graduated at the top of her class. Adrenaline pumped into her system, ecstatic that the world no longer spun around her. She felt, as they say, like a million dollars.
The feeling of flushing out the motion sickness and returning to normal caused the girl to jump up from her seat with her arms raised high in the air, a smile plastered on once pale lips. "Better?! I feel like i could run a marathon!" she ace cheered happily, jogging in place as to test her motor skills and if they were working again, and much to her joy they were.
The slayer turned back around to gaze red orbs down on Itazura, lunging forward and falling onto him a split second later in a big hug, wrapping her arms around his frame.
"Thank you thank you thank you!" she squealed, completely losing herself to her happiness, forgetting that they had only met a couple of minutes ago and that the youkai might not be okay with such an action. It's just that the musician had been dealing with this for such a long time. Her own healing spell did not usually work. The only way she could ever make it go away is if some other mage healed it for her. And even at that it didn't always work. She was overjoyed that it finally had worked, and so well even. It was truly a blessing.

The yokai stepped back out of the girl's way, as to not get hurt. She was ecstatic, raising her arms towards to sky as if to grab it. A bright smile fitting perfectly on her fair complexion, she spoke to him before jogging in place. Itazura just watched in silence, an awkward smile replacing his previous expression. He wasn't really one to ever make someone so happy, he usually did the exact opposite. Personally he didn't want anybody to be to close to him, so he usually isn't sensitive towards others and doesn't usually try to help people out. Who would want to be friends with somebody who constantly pranks people and jokes around, without any thought of the severity of the consequences? Nobody, well not anybody he knows of. So basically, the more annoying he is, the less likely he will get close to somebody. Just what he wants. So even offering to help the dragon slayer was out of character for the weasel, guess he just wanted to move on with the mission. Or maybe he does actually want a friend? Who knows.
Her crimson gaze locked onto him and she hopped over to him, wrapping her arms around him in a tight and grateful embrace. This shocked him very much, and probably would've fallen if he didn't have quick reflexes. His dominate leg lunged backward and planted itself onto the ground to give him support. Astrid was just so happy, repetitively thanking the kamaitachi for his time reversal spell. Though he was rather confused and for the first time, something caught him off guard enough for him to drop his facade for a minute. He didn't really understand why she was so chipper all the sudden, I mean he did heal her, but he didn't understand that this is the first thing for her that actually worked to rid of her motion sickness. So he was stuck there, he hesitantly hugged her back, it had been a long time since he had been hugged. If he has at all. Not a genuine, and warm one like this one. Though it was rather awkward for him, it actually made him happy. For once something actually made him happy, not that it would last. "N-no problem" he stuttered, a slight quiver in his usually confident and mischievous tone.

After keeping the warm embrace for maybe a second or two too long the slayer finally released her tight grip from the youkai, taking a few steps backwards to give him some space, offering a small smile. Right, they should probably get going with this mission now. They had spent far too long mucking about. Now that she felt better they had better get a move on before it was too late. Who knew what this Harper figure could be doing to those precious artifacts if he had already found them.
"Now then lets get going, yes? Time waits for no one."
But... Where exactly was it that they were going?
Red eyes turned her head to look around. There were only architects here at the moment waddling about like lost ducklings, and with no sign of where to go or what these thieves looked like... They had such little clues to go on, the ace wasn't sure if they were even in the right place. Though she did find Itazura here, which much means she was at least somewhat right. But then, with all these people around how were they even going to get near this temple? Or even find the right one? It was confusing indeed.
Astrid placed a hand under her chin in thought.
"Guess we'll just wing it and look around first. There's nothing really much else we can do..." Who knows, maybe one of them would accidentally fall into a hole that leads to the right temple. That's what usually happened in movies.
Without waiting for the boy to hesitate or answer Astrid grabbed a hold of his wrist happily and started to pull him along with a strange amount of force for a dainty-looking girl like herself... Probably in the wrong direction too.

The itachi continued to be held tightly in the embrace with the silver haired young woman, it was probably held a few moments to long by normal people's standards. But for him, a person that rarely experiences something like this. Even though this was just a simple thank you from the young woman, an excited one yes, but just a thank you with a hug. You couldn't really tell who was affected more by it. His usual facade was wiped off and he actually let his face live without a fake smile at least for a few long moments. For what seemed like too soon to the weasel, Astrid let go of him, releasing him from her warm embrace, a bright yet small smile on her fair skin. Once she looked away from him, the boy took the few moments to regain his composure. Wiping some cloudiness that started to form around his hazel gaze. He placed his usual mischievous smile back onto his face, the mask was put back on, the one the slayer was able to temporarily remove, and purely out of accident. Putting a hand on his hip he turned his head and eyes towards the Ace, watching her as she spoke to him. He nodded in response, still having a hard time grasping his most recent and unexpected experience, which I supposed would be called affection, or something like it.
The boy continued to watch her, she looked around wondering where they needed to go. And really, he didn't know either, and glanced around also. Though just seeing the same things as she did, and even using his enhanced senses he couldn't really tell if there was anything out of the norm. He made a slight 'hm' noise, pursing his lips in slight confusion. I guess their job description didn't really make it all that clear. Either that or he just forgot and or didn't pay attention, which as I said, is normal for the boy. If he doesn't take enough interest in it, it is most likely that he won't remember. In reply to her next statement he spoke "I guess so" followed with a little shrug and crossing of his thin arms. Though only for a moment before dropping them back to his side, he was then grabbed by his wrist. A delicate looking hand from his teammate held it tightly, and with unusual and unexpected strength from a girl her size. She pulled him along with ease and he had no choice but to follow. I guess you can't judge a book by it's cover. A book in this case being the lovely musician, Astrid Foss.
She pulled him along through the ruins, passing by some archaeologists that were to engrossed in their work to bother worrying about the two mages. The weasel stayed quiet as they walked, he didn't really know where they were going, and he didn't really remember where they came from at this point. He was to busy thinking, nothing really to important, but enough to distract him from his surroundings. Though he easily avoided most obstacles, I suppose his subconscious was helping him out by using his peripheral vision. Or however that works. But not being able to see something, he tripped over it, falling over. Either dragging Astrid to the ground with him, or being the only one falling. Depending on how stable she was and how tight her grip was on his wrist. 'Ow' the boy mumbled, wiping some dust from the ground off of his face. Getting some blood with it, confused he checked his face again, and appeared to have a nosebleed. He wiped the blood on his clothes and licked some of the blood from his face.
Turning over onto his butt he looked to see what he tripped over, grabbing a small stone. Small enough for him to not notice, but big enough to trip him. From the looks of it, it was valuable. Perhaps something found by an archaeologist but maybe got left behind, or maybe something left behind from the treasure trove when people were moving it there, or something like that. Maybe a combination of the two. The gemstone was about the same color of the blood that continued to flow from his nostrils, and was rugged and covered in dirt, but it still shined beautifully. "Shiny~" he said with a giggle. Then somebody spoke in a gruff tone, and they didn't sound to happy "Hey, you kids better give me that, or else" the man was tall and really matched how he sounded, gruff and stout with scars. Itazura guessed that this was not a very friendly man, and maybe one of the other people searching for the trove. A gemstone hunter maybe? Around him some other people with a similar look too interest, maybe five others. All a little less threatening then him, but probably the same amount of greed.

For a couple of minutes the musician continued to pull the youkai from the wide open space of the docks and into the dense jungle-like area surrounding the middle of the island, weirdly forcefully, though nonchalantly, as if she didn't realize how much power she was putting behind the pull. Most likely she didn't realize how much force she was putting behind it. To her it was just her normal strength, nothing too much to think about, even if the force was very abnormal to most other people. To her she was just helping the boy along with her newfound energy, making sure they wouldn't get separated in this unknown and complicated landscape. Nothing else. Maybe she was just too used to pulling her brother along so she thought this kind of thing was acceptable, but who really knew with her. It could easily be anything with the ditsy ace.
At one point during her tug along she felt her arm dip slightly, and heard a thump behind her. She stopped in her tracks, confused as her attention was brought back to see a fallen Itazura on the ground, his nose a bloodied mess, most likely caused by his fall. Crimson eyes widened in worry, instantly releasing the boys hand. "Oh my gosh, are you okay?" she bent down to his fallen height, a hand starting to reach out towards his nose to try and help him. But he seemed fine despite the grunt of pain. Maybe a little too fine for the fact that he was bleeding... But yet maybe Astrid was the one who was taking this too seriously. It was just a nosebleed after all. To people who suffered much larger wounds on a daily basis it was nothing. Her hand stopped midway and retracted back to her front when the boy grabbed a shiny gem from the ground and delicately looked it over. It was red, the same color of the blood that flowed freely from Itazura's nose, so honestly at first she thought he had bled do hard he managed to cover a normal rock all with his blood. But the more she looked at it, the more it began to sink in that the red was just its natural color, backed with how it glistened when he held it up to the sun. Matching red eyes shone, caught by its beauty. "Yeah, it's beautiful. Like something my mother would wear" she breathed, remembering how much her mother enjoyed her jewelry. This would be something nice to take back with them, it was only a small gem after all, and it was just out on the ground, so it's not like they were stealing... Maybe she could convince Itazura to give it to her, for a cost, of course. It was rightfully his. He was the one who fell and bled to find it. But Astrid couldn't help but imagine her mother would be delighted to have such a fine gem for her collection. Maybe with her craftsmanship she would even turn it into a necklace or earrings.
Interrupting her thoughts came a gruff voice, deep and demanding, telling them the cliche villain line of ‘give that back or else’ thing. A tall, scarred man, along with four of his shady companions filed out of the nearby bushes. Almost scared she had done something wrong Astrid stood up instantly, though his rude and mean domineer kept her on edge.
“Give what back? The gem?” The silvernette questioned, her eyes hardening and traveling from the taller man to Itazura, making sure he wouldn’t give into the demands. While it might be true this did belong to them, it didn’t seem likely. What kind of gruff and tough men like this want with gems? And they clearly weren’t archaeologists. “Everything on this island belongs to the original ten wizard saints and the magic council. And last time i checked, this island wasn’t open the public in case any sneaky treasure hunters got a bit too power hungry.”
At her words the scarred man smirked. “Ooh? That’s rich coming from a member of a treasure hunting guild, lassy.” He laughed, gesturing towards the blue Golden Phoenix tattoo inked upon the back of her left hand. “You take someone else’s property all the time. You want to take that gem, i saw it in your eyes. But i’m afraid you’re still gonna have to hand it over, otherwise i’mma have to break those pretty little fingers of yours.”
Reaching over towards the gem the hunter was about to go into a take it before a hand grabbed onto his own very forcefully, beginning to tighten with every passing second. “Eh?” he questioned, unable to move his arm at all. He followed the arm to see the slayer was the one who had grabbed it, and was keeping him firmly in place, lips pursed together in a thin line.
“Our organizations may hunt the same thing, but there’s something separating us individually…” trailing off she would twist around so his arm would bend painfully down his back. He cringed visibly, feeling his arm go way past the limit it was supposed to. “I don’t care much for treasure hunting.”
Her leg glowing a silver color she would raise and push the tip of her foot straight into his back, giving him a good kick. Letting out a choke the buff man fell to the floor with a loud thud, his mouth wide open in a gasp. Dusting off her hands she looked back to the group of treasure hunters, her eyes a piercing red. The other four men were visibly shaken with the woman’s impressive display of strength, their rifles and swords clinging with their shivers.

The yokai didn't end up answering Astrid's question towards him, wondering if he was okay or not. Which the itachi assumed by her silence and not urging to inspect his bloodied nose, that she determined that he was alright. And nothing extremely bad was going to come of such a little injury. He wasn't to bothered by it, it stung a little, but nothing worse then what he's felt before. He was used to pain at this pain, he usually didn't let even bigger injuries get in the way, depending on the circumstances of course, he might act more helpless if it will get him things he want. So long story short, this is nothing to the kamaitachi, moving on. His hazel eyes were glued to the crimson colored stone, truly beautiful. He twirled it around in his hand, looking at it greedily. Being rather kleptomanic, he liked to have whatever he could get his hands on, especially if it was shiny, pretty and worth something like this stone. Plus this man wanted it, so why not bug him by not giving it to him? It was probably just as much his as it was Itazura's, just that the weasel got to it first. And unless he was getting something in return that may or may not be better, this was going to be his.
He heard the girl speak beside him, say something about how her mother. Though he didn't let his facade drop, not this time, but the thought of his own mother made him uncomfortable. Sweating slightly, his throat getting dry, but he ignored it, and tried not to uncover that storm of emotions in his brain. It was to painful and to confusing. He didn't have a good relationship with his mother, his mother didn't like him for reasons I won't get into. But let's just say he has conflicted feelings for the itachi that was his biological mother. Luckily for the boy, he hasn't seen the woman for so many years he lost count (probably cause he can't count that far, being rather illiterate, but you get my point). So that problem was buried deep, and wasn't a relevant problem of his, so he didn't ever think of it. But for some reason, when Astrid mentioned her own, it struck him and pulled it out from the depths of his brain. Which was rather unpleasant for the weasel, he tried to swallow down the lump in his throat. Can't think about that now.
Once the gemstone hunter confronted the two of them, he forced his gaze away from it for a few moments. And to go against the dragon slayer's doubts in the boy's keeping of the blood colored stone, he had no thoughts of ever passing it over to the man. The henge yokai listened to the girl speak after she stood up in front of him and up to the big man. He stood up, not as fast as the young woman mind you, but at a more normal pace. Gripping the valuable stone in his small hand, he grinned up at the man, his usual unsettling grin. He pocketed the stone when the man replied to the silverette. Itazura could've helped out the girl, and probably would've if he was a normal person that knew Astrid as much as he did. But one, he wasn't normal, and didn't usually liked helping people unless he was getting something out of it, and even then he may be reluctant (I do believe I've stated this before). Two, she was an Ace for a reason, she had to have some kind of strength and magical abilities, she's made it this far. And he knew this for a fact with her effortlessly pulling around a boy that was bigger and easily heavier then her, despite him also being rather small in size also. So if you consider that, well there is no reason to intercede. So he just stood a few feet behind and watched, placing his hands in his pockets, holding the stone with the hand that resided in the same pocket.
When the gruff fellow made a exclamation of confusion, both his and the weasel's eyes looked at his wrist. The delicate looking young musician held tightly onto his wrist, on his face spread confusion. But on the yokai's a grin of excitement was plastered onto his fair colored expression, his hazel gaze glinted with anticipation. What was she planning? And what would she do next? Oh so interesting, and oh so exciting. Though with how he'd seen the Ace of Topaz act, he doubted that she would kill him, or even hurt him in a way that would leave permanent damage or maybe not even blood. Which was sort of disappointing, but it was still interesting to see another's strength, even if they aren't on your side. But even more so if they are. It's always nice to know that someone strong has your back. May not be the exact thoughts coursing through the boy's complicated brain, but probably something similar.
A slight laughter escaped from the young looking boy's lungs as he watched her push the man to the ground with skill, the weasel couldn't care less for the words that the eighteen year old spoke, but that doesn't really matter. She wasn't speaking to him now was she? "Now that was something to watch" he muttered, not really caring whether or not if his teammate heard him. He stepped up beside the girl, a now rather calm look on his face "I guess I'll start to deal with them?" Itazura asked, not expecting an answer. The boy continued to walk across the jungle like area's ground with his bare feet, the different things upon the grass and dirt didn't seem to bother the kamaitachi when he walked upon them. Probably built up callouses on the bottom of his feet due to walking without shoes so often, even though he did have a nice bare of black boots. He just preferred to go without shoes, more comfortable for is toes, and just his feet in general. The boy smiled something sinister "I'll try not to be as scary as the young miss over there" he said to the people, nodding his head in the direction of Astrid. His smile turned into a grin, showing off his dangerously sharp looking weasel fangs that he often had whilst in human form.
They were called professional for a reason, they had good aim, and would've shot the kamaitachi if he didn't turn into a flurry of air. The bullets passing right through where he was previously standing. This shocked them for only a few seconds, apparently they weren't that easily fazed. A couple probably decided to leave Itazura to deal with the silverette, which he didn't care to much. He moved around, the men having a hard time keeping track of where he was. He turned physical behind a tree, he hopped up in it with stealth. He climbed across a branch that hung over one of the men who was currently wondering aloud where the boy went. And there he was, right on top of him when he hopped from the branch. He didn't know he was there until he was. His small and delicate looking arm wrapped around his neck, the person who stood next to him jumped out of the way with ineradicable speed. She aimed her rifle at the boy. He strangled the man, just enough to force the breath out of him to make him pass out.
The yokai kept him up as a shield from the weapon, but I guess she wasn't to afraid of shooting her friend. Either she was really confident in her shot or just a mixture of lucky and stupid. Maybe the first one, I mean she was supposed to be professional right? Anyways, she shot, the bullet landing in the little bit of fat of the boy's upper arm. He made a yelp that sounded well, like a weasel, and he dropped the man. His eyes flashed red and he glared at the woman. Before retreating back into the tree that he drop attack the now unconscious man in, and he hid within the leaves. Gritting his teeth he unsheathed his claws on one hand, and reached into his other arm to grab the bullet. His blood dripped down his arm and onto the branch that he sat in. He tossed the bullet, which flew into some bushes, catching the woman's attention. The weasel decided to take a minute breather, looking to see what his companion was up to. Probably better off then him, she was stronger then him after all, or at least that's what he assumed.

Seeing as how she had so easily defeated the leader of their small group it was no surprise the other four were hesitant to deal with the silvernette, understandably too. After all if she took down the toughest one of the five, it was only fate that she could beat the rest just as if not more easily. Which is maybe why two of them had separated themselves to deal with Itazura instead, leaving the other two to experience their grisly demise at the hands of the light mage.
Glancing over to the weasel and seeing him avoid the attacks by turning into wind she knew he could take care of himself. As long as he was that agile during the entire fight he would probably be fine. Astrid looked back to the other two in front of her, clasping her hands together in a clap. At the sound the two hefty men winced and turned from looking at the weasel and his fight to the ace, watching and sweating as she cracked her knuckles intimidatingly, and making them pop. “Are we going to do this the easy way? Or the hard way?” she smirked.
The smaller one of the two, the one that resembled some sort of portly pig flailed his limbs wildly and let out a high pitched squealing sound, disappearing into the bushes behind them both and running away, leaving the burly man alone. She placed her hands on her waist.
“Just one? Looks like your friend couldn’t handle the heat, so he got out of the kitchen. Now the question is if you’ll be able to handle it in his place.”
The man’s lips twitching in the corner he clicked his tongue, raising his gigantic axe high over his head, letting out a deep bellow, attempting to bring the iron axe down onto the girl. The sharp edge hit the ground and a big cloud of dirt drifted around the area. He smirked, feeling his hit land. But when the dust finally settled after a few moments he was surprised to find there was no girl bleeding to death under him. He widened his eyes.
“Too slow~”
Seemingly appearing out of nowhere Astrid was suddenly behind him, her arm covered in a silver glow. At her cheeky comment the man looked behind him, but was too slow to stop what was going to come next. “White Dragon’s Nova Blast!” Astrid slammed the light covered hand right into the back of the man’s hand, causing a small explosion in their area. This made the man shoot out like a comet, crashing face first into a nearby tree. He gritted his teeth, rubbing his sore head with a free hand when he tried to get up. Having used the explosion to help her land on her feet better, Astrid flicked a stray piece of silver hair to her back when she regained her composure. Crimson eyes settled on the struggling man. Now that she thought about it they probably shouldn’t knock the man out quite let, they needed to keep at least one conscious. They obviously knew where the vault was, this was their opportunity to find out where it was. Unwilling to let this opportunity pass before the man was able to get up Astrid raised her hand, making a silver magic circle appear above. “White Dragon’s Halo.” Casting the spell a large halo-like circle appeared above the gruff man before it fazed through his body, stopping at his torso. Once there it tightened around him, squeezing the air out of his lungs while also restraining him. That’d keep him busy for a while, just while she helped her team mate with the other two. Turning her attention when she heard the gunner shoot the weasel Astrid called up to the boy, seeing as he was having a bit of trouble dealing with the last one. “Need some help?”
While wanting to help, she also wouldn’t just barge in if he had it handled. She knew how boys were with wanting to seem like they could handle anything. His pride was on the line. Though if it really was too much, Astrid would intervene nonetheless, with his permission or not.
The itachi let out a heavy sigh, guess he got to cocky. He thought humans where actually worried for hurting their friends with a bullet to the face. But I guess not, maybe they weren't friends, or maybe they where just stupid or overly confident in their abilities as a sharp shooter. Which was irritating, he didn't like getting shot, bullets were annoying. It was so sudden, it took a few moments to actually feel the pain, and when you could, it was well, painful. Though from Itazura's experience, he knows being shot isn't to worst thing, stabbing is worse then that. You can actually feel all of the excruciating pain as the knife or whatever blade is plunged into your body. So again, like the bloody nose (but on a higher scale) it hurts but he has felt worse. Living over a hundred years in a world like this will make things like that happen, I mean, he' even died a couple of times. Maybe more, but of course, being a yokai he has a different definition of death then regular humans do. Its a lot harder to kill one of his kind, he'll just come right back, most likely angry and full of adrenaline, which isn't good at all for people who original killed them. Because ten-fold pain is usually inflicted back upon them, and they don't usually come back. So just, don't try and kill a yokai of any kind, not just a henge like Itazura, unless you know what your doing.
Sheathing his claws, he was trying not to kill people, so having those out probably wasn't the answer. Though in this situation he didn't really care if he killed people or not, but he guessed that the young lady would. How she acts for one, and the fact that she is and Ace of a legal guild on top of being a Rising Star. So it probably wouldn't be so smart for him to do so, even if he really wanted to. He could feel his hunger, his stomach growling at him, asking for food. Preferably the flesh of humans, but it will take other meat or food that is available. He looked at Astrid, who had easily dealt with the others. His brain immediately started lowering his self-esteem for no reason and he released another sigh, today was just not his day. I guess to make up for that little bit of true happiness he was going to get a hell of a lot more depression then he normally gets. Like thinking about his mother, or thinking of how weak he is, even if he isn't. Just, all around great things to think about, not. The silverette called up to him, asking him if he would like some help. Putting his grin back on, like nothing was wrong, he called back down to her. "Yes please~" he said with a giggle. He didn't really feel like going easy on a human, especially one that just shot him. So he decided to just let her do it, she was asking right? So that means she wouldn't mind doing so. So the weasel stayed squatted up in the tree.

Thankfully Itazura agreed. Which was good. If he had disagreed she would have done it anyway, though maybe with a little bit of worry with how the youkai would act towards her afterwards. She has seen what youkai do when they're angry, after all. It was never a pretty sight. So stealing a youkai's kill? It was something she didn't even want to think about.
Nodding up to the boy Astrid raised her hand out in front of her, a silver line suddenly appearing in a flash of light just before the ace. Quickly, before it could fall to the ground she grabbed it, using her index finger to break and stretch a piece of it towards her, making it bend to resemble some sort of bow. A silver arrow rested in the middle, a swirl of magic light constantly vibrating around it. Having noticed the exchange of words between the two the gun woman swiftly turned in place, now facing Astrid. She cocked her gun and rested her gaze into the crosshair, fingering the trigger, as if she was hesitating for some reason. In return, Astrid raised the bow to the side of her face and pulled the magic string back further, trying to get the perfect line of sight so the arrow would hit without fail.
"Arrows or bullets, want to see which one is faster?" she asked, knowing the girl knew the answer just as well as she did. Even a preschooler could answer this one. Besides, the woman was using regular bullets while Astrid was using a magic arrow. And at that, a light arrow. She had no chance. But the woman was desperate. She had just watched all of her companions get knocked out. She was going to be reckless, she was going to try to survive no matter what. If Astrid had to guess, being a treasure hunter, she'd go out in fury. It was just the kind of nature treasure hunters had with their ragtag lifestyle. And today she would find, she was right.
As predicted the woman finally did pull the trigger, firing one shot to the slayer. But unlucky for her, Astrid was prepared. With her quicker reflexes Astrid was able to release the arrow just as quickly as the woman, if not only a millisecond after. The magic arrow and metal bullet collided in midair, the light infused arrow able to easily cut through the normal bullet like a hot knife through butter. It split it in two, and incinerated it into nothing. Not even a second later the arrow hit the woman in the chest, sending her backwards into the tree Itazura was currently squatting in. She let out a grunt, attempting to get back on her feet, but failing and giving up after a few moments.
A smile overtook the slayer's lips as she crunched the magic bow, causing it to fall apart into light particles and disappear. She placed one hand onto her hip, looking from the fainted woman up to the youkai. "Looks like we're done here... But before we leave i wanna try something."
Walking over to the man still caught within her binding spell Astrid squatted down to his height, offering a big grin. "Hello sir~ Sorry about your buddies, but we're looking for a vault. You know, the one where the original wizards saints hid their treasures in. You look like you're familiar with the area. Do you mind pointing us in the direction of it?" she asked, as sweetly as could be.
In response the man spit at her feet, glaring up to the girl.
"I ain't telling you shit!" he rumbled.
Astrid's crimson eyes blinked innocently, like a child, tilting her head to the side. "Oh my, not cooperating are we? That's a shame. I was hoping to get something out of you without having to resort to violence... But..." She paused to look up to Itazura, wherever he would be at the time she was saying this. She would place a hand next to her mouth, as if to cover it, though with how loudly she was going to say them it was obvious she was just messing around. "My friend's getting a little hungry, and his favorite food is human... Soooo..."
With her threat the man's beastly eyes shivered, looking over to the sharp-toothed boy.
"A-Alright! Alight! I'll tell you! Just k-keep him away from me! It's north of here, inside the waterfall... You can't miss it." He hung his head, defeated.
Astrid pet the man's head.
"See? Was that so hard? Though you better not be lying, otherwise-" cutting herself off she would run a finger over her neck, as to imitate what would happen if he lead them astray. Rising from her squat the slayer flicked her finger upwards, causing the ring around his torso to shatter, making him to pass out as all the stress it had put on his body finally released. She patted some dust off her dress. She looked to what she assumed was north, able to spot the top of the waterfall from where she stood. "Well then, to the waterfall we go~" As if none of her strange and weirdly dark actions had even occurred in the first place the ace began to skip away happily, Itazura hopefully following behind.

Lifting up his hand he gently touched his wound, flinching slightly, he gripped it. Some blood soaked into the rim of his t-shirt hoodie, guess he would have to get that washed later. Which he usually does by soaking it in a river or some other water source for a little bit. He was aware of a couple of things known as a washing machine and a dryer, that cleaned and dried clothes. But for one, he didn't know how to use it, and secondly he didn't really have anybody to bother about it. He would usually bother Seika about that sort of thing, but she hasn't been to fond of him lately, for good reason. But it still bothered Itazura, and he didn't really feel like bugging anybody else, so he stayed the same level of illiterate since he first joined the guild. People probably wouldn't mind helping him out, there is plenty of nice educated people in Black Rose, but he didn't really want to ask. Not sure if he was to afraid to bother them, or if asking for help would give them the impression that he wants to be friends with them. Which is not true, he doesn't want to get close to anyone, he has to many secret, to many things to hide. The last person he opened up to now has forgotten him and absolutely despises him, this person being earlier mentioned Seika, so his little bit of trust for others has not been depleted. Maybe he is just being a little bit overly dramatic about the whole thing, but he has valid excuses for such behavior.
The kamaitachi stayed in the tree, just watching the young woman from above, he didn't want to get in the way of her. Though she probably is experience and wouldn't hit him on accident, but better be safe then sorry. Which was an odd thing for him to think, very out of character, but for now he learned from his previous mistake. Well, the lesson learned would probably be forgotten and he would continue to make the same mistakes, but let's just, not worry about that at the moment. He watched with an inventive hazel gaze, even with his higher abilities and senses, he still had a hard time seeing the bullet and arrow once they were released. Mostly just the magical silver arrow shot by the light mage, it was a cool thing to watch. Especially her attitude, she seemed so nice, but it was as if something darker was underneath. He vaguely sensed it now, he hadn't noticed it before, but there was something..... of about her. Though he wasn't quite sure what it was, but he was curious. He loved people like her, the ones that seem the most innocent are always the ones hiding the darkest and scariest things. The itachi loved finding out other's secrets, just not the other way around. Though he was sure he didn't want to be on the opposing side of this young girl, she had something dangerous and horrifyingly amazing under her bright soul.
Nodding in reply to her speaking back up to him when she finished off the professional treasure hunter woman. What was she planning now, watching her move she went over to the big gruff man that she downed at the beginning of all of this. Interrogation? How fun, though he doubted he could torture this man, but he loved getting a good scare out of them. Which he was going to get, Astrid turned back to look at the weasel. Noticing that she was playing around, not actually being serious, he decided to go with it, though he doubted the man need a whole performance to break. Itazura let a intimidatingly large grin spread across his face, his sharp teeth glinting rather bright underneath all of the shadows of the leafy tree. He let out a shrill laughter no doubt sending chills down the man's spine if not doing more. He lifted his blood covered hand up to his mouth and he slowly licked it off, for a more dramatic flare I suppose. His usual soft hazel gaze turning a bright blood red, glowing in the dark shadows of the leaves. Genuinely thinking of how he would eat this man, maybe eat his skin first? Or limb by limb? Or the classic taking chunks of flesh out, oh how so fun. The thoughts gave him chills of excitement, and just made him even hungrier.
As the man gave up the information, he finally hopped down from his spot up on the tree branch, standing straight up he continued to watch the man with a scary look on his face. He walked to be near the silverette, dropping his hands by his sides, blood from his arm dripping off of his hand onto the jungle floor. To match with her sign language to intimidate the man even more so, he giggled some more and unsheathed his six inch claws on one hand, also doing the same 'hand across neck' sign language. Though he dropped his hand again and retracted his long sharp claws once the man was passed out. He let his frightening face drop back to his usual mischievous smile and glint in his (now returned back to) hazel eyes. "Sounds fun~" he said with a normal laugh afterwards, then he proceeded to follow after the girl, who might or might not being leading them in the wrong direction. Not her intentions, but she was rather bad with directions, not that the weasel knew this. And not that he was either, he usually just relied on his nose, letting the scents of the different things lead his way instead of directions given to him by people or signs, that of which he never remembered. Tt is much easier for him to remember smells then words, animal instinct I guess.

The sound of rushing water was enough to let the slayer know how to find the waterfall. It really wasn't that hard, even with her lack of being able to hear properly. It was loud enough to lead her straight to it without any problems. The smell of the water helped too, thanks to her enhanced slayer senses. Not that the water itself had much of a smell, rather the damp rocks around it did. If she had to describe it, it smelled like damp soil after a rainy day. And thankfully, its smell had been strong enough to help her the rest of the way when her hearing failed her.
Exiting the dense forest Astrid pulled back a couple of low hanging vines that were in her way, placing them behind her when she got through. She stopped, crimson orbs tracing the falling water all the way to the top of the cliff from which it fell... As pretty of a scene as this was... Where were they supposed to go now? The man had said it was inside the waterfall... But what exactly did he mean by 'inside'? You can't go inside a waterfall. It was just water.
"I'll go look around a bit, see what i can find." Figuring it was best to look around Astrid wondered away from Itazura and closer to the pool of water beneath the waterfall. Only once she got closer to the waterfall did she spot something out of the corner of her vision. A sparkle was shining from behind the rushing water. Having almost shrugged it off as the sun getting in her eyes she squinted her gaze, trying to see what was bothering her eyes so much. But even when she moved her head slightly upward and squinted, it was still there. "What's that?" she pondered aloud, realizing now it was not just some measly illusion of light. There was something there.
Curious to see she skimmed around the edge of the lake, hopping from rock to rock, almost slipping sometimes as they were wet from all the water, but somehow always managing to regain her balance. Once to the other side she made her way behind the waterfall, surprised to see a wide opening within the rocks.
... Oh... That's what he meant by 'inside' the waterfall... He really could have been more specific.
The ace retraced her steps so she was just peaking out from the waterfall, waving to get Itazura's attention. "Hey! I think it's back here! Just watch your step, the rocks are slippery!" she warned him, not wanting him to make the same mistake as she did.
Figuring she'd go ahead of him just to see if this really was the vault they were looking for she would enter into the hole without him. It was dark at first, and very tight. The rocky walls were very close together. Even for a small a petite girl like Astrid it was hard to breath and very uncomfortable. It felt like her body was going to collapse in on itself. But still she shuffled sideways through despite this, motivated all by a crack of white light shining in from the other end. Once she felt she was getting closer she quickened her pace, able to feel the light raiding she was so close. Not realizing it ended so abruptly however Astrid let out a gasp as she was suddenly unable to feeling anymore ground beneath her feet, causing her to fall... Head first. The top of her head slammed into the hard ground, causing an electrical type shock to shake her being. In pain she tumbled forward, laying on her stomach and using her hands to grasp the top of her head. She let out hisses of fiery pain, shaking her head, rubbing her hands on top of the sore spot. Great, that was defiantly going to leave a mark. She could already feel a warm bump start to grow. Opening her eyes she blinked away the tears, it not even taking a second to completely forget about her pain. Red optics widened, seeing what exactly she had hit her noggin on. Everywhere in this cave, jewels littered the ground, sparkling and glittering off the golden coins surrounding them. The entire room was shiny, just like her eyes that reflected the beautiful lights. Her jaw dropped, having never seen so many jewels in one place. This was like some sort of dream, or a cartoon. You know, those ones where the characters were so rich they would fill an entire room with money and then swim in it. It was kinda like that. Expect judging with how hard she fell, she didn't think it was possible to swim in this kind of thing. Childhood ruined. Once Itazura was caught up with her, she would turn back to him, eyes wide and shining like a child. "Ita look! This is it! This is the vault! We found it!" she beamed, running her fingers over the mountains of jewels beneath her. It was so overwhelming and pretty, she couldn't help but act like a fat German kid in a chocolate factory made entirely of chocolate. To think she was standing where the original ten wizard saints once stood... It was like standing where a god once stood... Which was actually technically true.
Looking further into the room something sticking out a taller mountain of jewels would catch the slayer's eyes. Something that looked like it resembled a sword. Curiosity once again winning her over Astrid stumbled to her feet and waddled her way through the treasure to the base of the jewel mountain. Not stopping she fell to her hands and continued to climb, gaining more traction from being on all fours. The jewels jingled musically as they dropped down from where her steps were being placed, rolling down to the bottom of the mountain. Once at the top she once again stood to her feet, wobbling, as she was currently at the edge of probably the tallest pile of jewels in this room. She took a few more steps towards it, just to be sure she wouldn't fall. Shining red eyes glistened at the sight of the golden swords, amazed by the way it shimmered. Was this one of the weapons used by the wizard saints? The ace couldn't help but shake. What an honor this was, being able to see such items that belonged to Fiore's heros of old up close like this. Temptation taking a hold of her, as if just to make sure she wasn't dreaming the silvernette reached her hands out to touch it, wanting to try and pull it out like King Arthur with Excalibur. But before she could, a white magic beam shot out from the other side out the mountain and encased both of her hands in crystal. Caught off guard the ace stumbled back, surprise taking over her face. "W-Wha-?!" Unable to keep her balance she fell off the side of the jewel mountain, taking a few hard and painful hits on the way down before landing on her side at the bottom. With the wind knocked out of her Astrid's breaths were caught in her throat, causing her to choke as she writhed in pain, shaking and bruised.
"Keep yer hands off our treasure, little girl. Otherwise the rest of yer body will be crystal too." From the top of the mountain a chubby older woman looked over to the girl in pain, chuckling as her spiked mace rested firmly in her hand. "Apparently you two rascals have been causing quite the problem 'round here, beating up me men." When she paused the fat, pig-like goon from before popped his head out from the edge of the cliff, shaking after the woman gave him a hard hit on his back.
The woman's gaze traveled from Astrid to Itazura. "You, boy. Take your girl and leave before i smash you both into tiny pieces."

The itachi followed after the girl, ignoring the pain in his upper arm from the still slightly bleeding bullet wound. His hands placed inside his pockets, he stepped over, around and through the large amounts of thick brush and tree roots that covered the jungle floor. The vines dangled around him, any that got in the way in front of them Astrid dealt with. So for the most part, the yokai had a clear path from walking behind the young musician. Though before he didn't really think they knew where they were going, he knew for certain now. The smell, sounds, even the taste of the air, the dampness of it. And she appeared to know it also. The waterfall was close, it was easy to hear over the normal sounds of the forest, rushing water. The smell of water, though it didn't have a particular scent, at the same time it's lack of scent and how the things around it reacted to the wetness, was clear enough. At least they knew where they were going, that was nice. Going through the ferns and such they reached a sort of clearing, a pool off water at the end of a decently sized water fall. Opening his mouth out of habit, he took in all the scents, closing his mouth for a few moments before opening it again, just to get a good taste. Odd animal habits, I know. Something, metallic, though he couldn't quite place where, so he followed the dragon slayer's lead, and looked around.
He heard the girl think aloud to herself, but he just continued to look around, minding his own business. Some small animals ran away one they caught sight of him, he heard hissing off to the right somewhere, a snake, didn't sound like a bad meal. There his brain went, thinking about food, he had to concentrate. But all that was on his mind was when his next meal would be, and what would it be? So much so he started to look for prey instead of the treasury of the wizard saints. He crouched low to the ground, and though he was keeping himself fully human, his ears peeked out from his dirty brown hair and his tail pushed itself out from under the back of his pants. Opening his mouth he smelled for animals close by, slowly he fully transformed back into his original form. A small, long and skinny orange/brown colored weasel with bright blue eyes. His ears twitched about, he stalked around, catching wind of some prey. He was about to start stalking it before he heard the voice of the silverette. Oh yeah, he wasn't here to hunt, well not for food but for treasure. He forced himself to transform back into a human, and he walked back over towards the waterfall.
Looking at the waterfall with a curious hazel eyes, he saw what his teammate saw when she spoke aloud to herself. An odd glint shining through the water fall, he looked at his path. A few rocks separated a decent hopping distance, and they were soaked from the water the splashed down on or around them. Luckily he was already barefoot, so he didn't have to bother going through all the effort that was taking of his shoes (which isn't actually that hard at all, I'm just being sarcastic). With a swift few jumps, he made it into the cave, he slipped slightly a couple of times, but nothing that prevented him from moving forward. He made it to the area that lead into the vault. It was cramped, and even being a weasel, he decided he would probably get stuck in that form. And he transformed back into the small furried creature that was his original form. Then he fit through the tight space with ease, he scurried along, his padded feet and tiny claws making noises as she ran along. It echoed as he entered the large area, skidding to a stop, not making the same mistake the Ace made of falling.
"Y-yeah, we did" he said in response to her shouting from below, though it was barely loud enough to not be considered a mutter. His mouth hung open slightly, he transformed back into his human form and stood up. He was amazed beyond lengths, it was so beautiful, so shiny, he just wanted to grab it all and take it home. So much gold, silver, and countless different kinds of jewels. Some carved and polished to look like the normal little thing found on jewelry in the stores he often passes by in Rose Garden. Others were just chunks of rock, but more natural and maybe even more beautiful that way. He pulled out the blood red stone from his pocket, comparing it to the pile of countless amount of jewels and such that laid below him. It certainly came from here, or was supposed to go here, either or. He placed it back inside his pockets, now wishing he had more room in them. Then his eyes were pulled away when he heard the woman.
Seeing her across the large room, probably at the same level that the weasel himself was at. She had a large black club resting on her shoulder, which Itazura presumed wouldn't be very nice to be hit by. He looked where she was looking as she talked to the two of them, well there was his teammate. She looked like she rolled down the mountain of valuables, and for some reason had crystals encasing her hands. He guessed that was what really happened, and he guessed the crystal was magic from the woman. They couldn't of just, found this place without somebody guarding it and claiming it as their own? That would've been a nice treat, but I guess not. It can never be that easy can it, but I suppose their job was to deal with this Harper or whatever.
He turned his head back to look at the woman across the cavern, she spoke to him in her ruff and gruff voice complete with an odd accent and speech pattern. "I guess it's my turn" he mumbled to himself, a grin spreading across his face, showing off his sharp teeth though they where probably hard to see from the woman's part of the room. Though something that could easily be seen, was his deathly sharp that he unsheathed from his fingertips. They shined brightly like the jewels and gold in the pile below, a nice six inches of deadliness. They resembled that of a sickle that he wore around his waist, but rarely actually used. Being more comfortable using his claws then his actual sickles, having much more experience using the things that has always been a part of his body instead of the dual weapons that weren't. "Sorry I can't do that" he said, loud enough for the woman to hear across the room. He laughed, echoing it across the large area, and with that he casted a spell. Behind him appeared a six feet tall and five feet wide torii gate looking thing, the posts where colored red like blood. In it was just darkness, void, only Itazura knew where it went. Another appeared a couple feet away from Astrid, a top the pile of gold not bothered by how unstable that spot was, and one closer to the large woman and her goon.
Stepping backwards through the gateway, he appeared by the dragon slayer "Ello~" he greeted, kneeling beside her he picked her up, not bothered by the extra weight added to her due to the crystals around her delicate hands and careful not to cut her with his claws. He looked at her condition, she was pretty beaten up, defeated by a pile of gold and powerless towards the large woman. Said large woman casting one of her favorite spells, a large crystal formed above them, and started to fall. Which Itazura wasn't bothered by, he stepped back through the portal and back to where he started. Making the gate that was at Astrid's last spot disappear as the crystal crashed down, shattering into millions of pieces. He set her back on the ground "I'll fix you up later if you can't do it by the time I get back" he said, grinning a bright and happy smile at her before going back through the portal. This time he ended up going through the gate near Harper.
Crouching lower to the ground, he ran towards her, the gate now next to the light mage vanishing. A wall of crystal got in his way, but he was close enough. He summoned another gateway potral, right underneath the heavyset woman. She barely had time to process before she was out through that portal and through the portal atop the mountain of jewels. And just like Astrid did earlier, the woman rolled down the side with a lot of painful grunts. Upon reaching the bottom she sat up, groaning, she glared at the kamaitachi and growled. She reached for her spiked club before realizing it wasn't around her, she must of let go of it when she fell. Looking around she saw it near the top of the pile, in the hands of the teenage looking yokai. Itazura grinned, looking quite like the villain in this turn of events. "Looking for this?" he said, chuckling afterwards. He looked all smug, but sweat trickled down his face, he kept of his facade but summoning all these portals was tiring him out. How many has he used up so far? He wasn't quite sure, did it even have a limit? He never used this ability, he just casted it once it appeared in his head. He wish he had something telling him how to properly use all this magic, but he has dealt with it okay so far, and it would probably continue this way.
Resting the large black club on his shoulder, he made another couple of portals and got rid of all of the rest besides the one on the gold pile behind him. The two gateways formed on either side of the hefty woman. She hopped to her feet, just about to erect a wall in front the portals before the weasel came out the one she wasn't looking at and slammed her across the head with her club. Leaving her with a bump an a major concussion probably, she fell back to the ground and groaned. Seeing spots most likely. The itachi laughed, lifting the club over his head he slammed it back down on the woman's head. He threw it to the side, avoiding the pooling blood from the woman's head. No idea if she was still alive, if she was she wouldn't last much longer bleeding like that. Her goon scrambled down to the two of them as fast as he could "Well that was fun" he said, teleporting himself back over to the light mage, before collapsing to his knees beside her. Completely soaked in sweat, even if he didn't end up getting any damage from the treasure hunter, all the portals tired him out. "I don't know if I can use magic right now, I don't even know if I can stand back up" he laughed and breathed heavily, being rather honest at the moment.

It looked like Astrid would have to let Itazura fight alone for a bit. It was something she wished she didn't have to do. Though a pacifist by nature if their lives were in danger it was an exception she would make to her morals, a lesson she had learned from her mission with Kite. And with Harper being apparently as strong as she is, it was one of those times to make an exception. The only problem is... The crystal was blocking her magic, and at that, movement too. Every time the slayer tried to push herself up the weight of the solid rock brought her back down to her knees without fail. And that was saying something. Astrid was known to lift up entire boulders on her own despite her frail appearance. So just how much did this rock weigh?
Smacking it against the billions of coins shattered among the floor until it broke open was an option. That is, if she could even pick it up. But she couldn't, so that actually wasn't an option.
"Come on you stupid crystal! Let... Me... Up!" Squatting down the girl tried to force her encased arms upwards, using every single muscle she could muster up to help. But in the end, all it ended up doing was was tiring her out. Beads of sweat dripped down her reddened face, panting vigorously. It was apparent nothing was going to work.
"Dammit all!" Feeling frustration boil up within her the ace decided to do the next best thing. Well, not the next best thing. But the thing she just felt like doing out of anger. Growing light-covered fangs from her teeth she bit down into the crystal and began to gnaw at it. But there was a problem with that. Seeing as how the crystal absorbed light magic, all it ended up doing was gluing her mouth to the rock. Feeling her teeth dig in and unable to pull them out Astrid jutted backwards, trying to detach the rock from her lips. But it was no use. She was stuck. Like an idiot.
As soon as Itazura was finished dealing with Harper and flopped down at her side she turned to him with crimson, watering eyes like a child who had just lost their lolipop, her mouth beginning to drool all over the rock due to not being able to close her mouth.
"Ish a bawd" she whimpered, hoping the youkai may be able to do something about it despite his obviously worn out energy. She probably looked like a complete idiot and felt just awful about letting her team mate know she did something... Stupid.

Seeing the silvernette's rather idiotic and hilarious condition, he laughed in between his heaved breaths. Maybe he was just hysterical from lack of oxygen to his brain, if yokai's could even be effected by that sort of thing, but he started to break out into even louder laughter. The boy bent over himself his head occasionally touching the ground as his laughing shifted his body, he tried to stop himself from laughing, but it was just one of those times where you laugh so much and you don't even know why. His skinny arms hugged his stomach as his breath heaved, eventually he managed to make himself stop, at least for the most part. The weasel still had a huge grin painted across his expression, and he would randomly produce little spurts of giggles. A nimble hand still rested on his stomach, which was still sore from the amount of laughter he just had, and the other he placed on the crystal Astrid was stuck in. How did she even end up like this, the henge yokai wondered. It was hilarious, it appeared as though a crystal encased almost the entirety of her arms, and that she tried to bite it? Well wasn't she a silly little girl.
"Here let me" his talking was interrupted with more laughter, he continued to speak "let me try and get you out of there." he giggled. Removing his hand from his stomach he placed it next to the one that was on the crystal, he put the tips of his fingers to the surface and then he released his claws. They stabbed easily as if it was soft butter, he didn't consider the fact that his six inch claws could've possibly hit Astrid's arms until after he'd already stabbed into the crystal. Oh well, he could just rewind time if he did. So where he stabbed, it started cracking, so he started to speed up the process by pulling it apart. The noise of it breaking apart echoed through the treasure filled cavern. It crumbled onto their laps, trace amounts of it loosely clung to the dragon slayer. One part still stuck firm to her though, which was the one in her mouth. The boy pursed his lips, he lifted his hand to the crystal and casted a spell to speed up time on it, until it hopefully disintegrated due to the time that he forced to pass on it. He snicker dropping his hands to his lap, proceeding to brush off some crystal dust "Better?" he asked, smirking.
