Job Title:  The World’s Fluffiest Catch
    Rank: C rank
Player Requirements: 200 words, 20 posts. This job requires 5 rolls. You need to kill a ram/the boss.
Job Requirements: At least one C rank mage.
    Job Location: Spooky Forest
Job Description: In your quest for a new blanket you have come across a shop that sells particularly soft ones. However, they are out of stock of their most fluffy and soft blankets. They are in short supply because the breed of sheep it comes from cannot be easily domesticated and is quite dangerous.

The job is to kill a Ram and bring it back to the store owner, where they can make a proper blanket for you and pay you for the rest of the fluffy beast.

    Enemies:
Rapid Chickens: These only take 1 C ranked damage to take down, but they're very fast and even a tiny peck can poison you with rabies, resulting in all those fun rabies effects until you're either healed or die from the 1/4 C ranked damage it inflicts on you every turn. Five chickens show up at once.

Normal: Piggies- These take 4 C ranked damage to take down and can deal out C ranked damage. Three piggies show up at once.

Strong: Ewe- These are pretty big sheep, but nothing compared to the ram. Their wool is nice, but not nearly as nice as his. But that’s against the point. It takes 8 C ranked shots to take them down and they can deal out C ranked damage. They typically come in groups of about three or four.

Boss: Big bad sheep- A killer ram with the fluffiest most velvety coat you ever saw. Its has razor sharp teeth and hooves sharp enough to cut. It takes 15 C ranked blows to take this ba-haha-ad sheep down. It can cause B ranked damage in attacking you, so be careful!

Reward: 7k in jewels and a really fluffy blanket.

--Credits to Heyyew, moved by Niyol.

    JUST FOCUS ON THAT GOAL
Of all the places one could expect to find a furry domesticated animal with horns, why here? Looking back and forth between job and trees, Itsuki still couldn’t make the connection. What manner of monster sheep was this going to be? After having very slowly gotten used to the physical features of Fiore, the semi-cyborg had come to know and recognize the Spooky Forest as, well, a spooky forest, for lack of a better word. After a few days of eavesdropping and catching information from mages at the job boards, he had learned of the strange noises, chilling darkness, and all other sorts of scary things to be found here. To think that a sheep of all things would be found in here… “I still don’t get it,” he sighed, rubbing a pale hand over his face.

“Granon, perhaps it would be best if you read the job a few times? It states very clearly that this ram we are to hunt is of the wild category. There is no illogical reason I can calculate that it would not form a natural habitat in such a place as the Spooky Forest.” These words streamed outwards from a gently glowing figure of miniscule size, hovering above the boy’s shoulder. Kioku frowned at her “master”, wondering once again how such a genius who had created countless artificial beings could still be so daft at times. Perhaps it had to do with the many articles she had sifted through online about that stage in life humans had to go through known as puberty – a fascinating topic if there ever was one. Sharing this concept through the Archive to Aya, the two AIs pondered it, lines of code streaking briefly through their systems as they did so.

Itsuki, feeling the abrupt change in movement of their minds, groaned in frustration. Great. Probably discussing some other embarrassing quality of his again. Whatever had he done to deserve it from them? Perhaps it really would be better to change their personality programs. Brushing away their streams from the Archive, the most human-yet-not-completely-human of the trio instead attempted to focus on the job ahead. Pulling out his iLac to keep from having to start up more screens, he re-checked the status of the job. To be done with a partner, huh… Apparently someone else had decided to do it as well. Meant he would have to wait awhile before he could get going. Leaning against one of the signature dark trees that made up the forest, Itsuki would wait, hoping he could just get this mundane task over with.

Despite the title that her name carried, Romiriarez harbored an attachment to warmth and all things that bathed in it, and it was her best interests that would even prompt her adoptive daughter Edith to seek an obscure sheep in the most unsettling of places, all for the sake of its coveted fleece. If the store manager said only honest words, then she was assured a magnificently soft blanket at the end of this exasperating venture into the Spooky Forest.

The Winter Lily deserved nothing less for her birthday, after all.

"This place is giving me the heebie jeebies Ede...!" Thia blurted out, rubbing her tiny lavender mits together as she bundled up closely to the little slayer's scarf, "We should turn back...like...now now."

As opposed to actually listening to her exceed, the little Fleur traced an overgrown trail that lured her deeper into the heart of the desolate forest. Shadows crawled thickly against the canopies, blocking whatever light source that threatened to leak from above and naturally causing the entirety of the forest to adapt an ecliptic black atmosphere. Humans who had a tendency to succumb to paranoia far too easily were to find themselves slowly losing their sanity in this place for even the shortest of durations, and that wasn't a surprising thing either.

Though, for Ede, willing her brain to cooperate and fuel her resolve over her fear was the only strategy she had against the devising of whatever malevolent spirit that housed there.

"It's not so bad Thia." Edith mumbled, a ghost smile dancing over her lips in an attempt to comfort her tiny purple companion, "It's just reeeeaaalllyyyy dark. C'mon, nothing to be 'fraid of."

The little Fleur felt her fingers tighten as she spared the road up ahead of her a momentary glance, griping so intensely unto the slender hold of the torch in her dominant hand, her knuckles turning pale as her grip stutters. There was no way to fabricate the fat that small tremors of fear attacked her senses ever so often, and that her only tether that grounded her from turning back was the lit-torch, the flames almost encouraging her, if not beckoning her to pick up pace.

Ede passed a sigh between her lips, the sound oddly restrained and weak. She'd finger Luciole's ornate handle, sliding her fingers across the designs, seeking refuge in her blade's presence. A foreign energy thrummed beneath her touch, as if responding, but it was far too minuscule for her to fully realize the implication. Her hand quickly withdrew from her waist, tipping her cap down as she edged her way between two trees.

Someone else...or something, for that matter, stood by the neighboring tree further the path. And it alarmed Ede as much as it urged the purple crossbreed exceed to scurry back into the slayer's jacket, clinging to her shirt.

'...Someone else is here?' she asked to no one in particular, two blue eyes narrowed into slits as to take in the other being with better accuracy. 'Why...?'

    JUST FOCUS ON THAT GOAL
Suddenly, even as the two robotic entities were comparing data, Kioku’s holographic aura would suddenly flush a sudden green, flickering to alert them to the presence of another. Itsuki, someone naturally suspicious, snapped his head up, gazing intently into the trees. Another pair of eyes blinked back at him from within the gloom. When nothing immediate happened, the cyborg flipped the lens that had been put in her eyes, a soft green glow now emanating from his pupils. The shape cleared, and he realized that it was a girl, a blonde who appeared to be somewhat younger than himself. He had been told that to obtain this famous blanket, that he would be finding this sheep with a partner… But in the Spooky Forest, could he really just trust any random person who came by? Already, he could see in the corner of his eye, Aya casually sidling forward from behind him, prepared to attack in case of any sign of danger.

And as he narrowed his eyes, it seemed that this wasn’t simply some normal kid who got lost in the woods, for an obviously magical being perched up on her shoulder, something like a crossbreed between cat and rabbit. The only people he’d ever known to keep exceeds as pets… A mage. Whether this mage was hostile or friendly, he didn’t know, and do he took it upon himself to take the easiest route at the moment. “Excuse me, miss, are you here for the sheep-catching job?” It sounded ridiculous even as he said it, and once more he wondered if it was worth it all for a really fluffy blanket. Sure, it would be nice, but not quite a necessity in his life.

Trying to assess the situation further, Itsuki would calmly introduce himself and the AIs, saying, “I’m Itsuki, a mage from the guild Lamia Scale, and this is my younger sister, Aya.” He gestured over at the robot, who nodded woodenly in response. Though she had been made for the purpose of playing Sorano’s role, there were skills that had been programmed into her that were always useful during combat. But no combat would be done yet, not until he knew who this kid was, and what in the world she was doing all the way out here.
