    Job:

Today was a fast moving sort of day. Elyx had to do inventory for his guild meaning he had to check up on all of the items to make sure that they were where they were to be. It was a boring task, but then Ignite came and tried to take some jewels. The both of them ended up fighting for a little bit about it before he eventually just locked down her flames and forced her to leave the scene before he actually does something. And so she gave in, knowing that there was no way she could raid anything without having her body torn up in the process. Seems like she was the general, but still the jewel loving being that she was. He was not going to have her steal things for herself though… Not from his guild. They came first before anything else. With that, he would then get a letter from the army that they were going out to gather some materials to get weapons, and if Elyx would allow them to do that. The Guild Master had no problem with that, but he had to guard the borders to make sure that nothing would happen to Phoenix Island in the process. With that done, he ended up getting in a bit of trouble with some who wanted to try to find the guild vault of his guild. More thieves, and they were reliant on weapons since they had no mana to use. Therefore, he had to make sure to use Quatros armor. They tried to pierce him in the heart, only for their blades to slip off as if they were laced with oil at the tip. How nice. But they were not going to go too far with that sort of attitude and reliance on such petty things. Therefore, he had to blow them away using bellows, which nearly ripped them open from the inside out. That would have left a bad message if he had done that, but he had to hold back a lot to make sure they were left on stretchers rather than lacrima that put them six feet under. The last thing that the council needed to hear was how he ended up putting people in their graves because they were trespassing. They were starting a fight, but they had no evidence of that, and they were not able to believe it, even if they wanted to. What a nice judging system there was in Fiore, Elyx could have not been any more proud. While he did have some influence, it did bother him that there was not enough to prevent something like that and still be able to explain his way out of it. Without evidence though, words were hollow, that was just how things worked in the lands. Could he try to change that? Well considering the king had the final word, it would definitely be a successful idea… But he would need a reason. Not even favor would make the king just go along with his wishes. At the end of the day, Elyx was just a servant, he was not the king himself. It was fine, serving him, so there was no real reason to complain anyways. The next thing that the Reiaki needed to do was check out the mail. And he did just that, to get a 10 year job request. Not a 100 year one, just a 10 year one, which meant he probably will have it done within a few hours. It was true, considering the 100 year ones tend to not take too much of his time. It was beautiful, since they paid so many jewels. In this case though, it seemed to offer something more than that. As he would continue to read the rest of the job, he would notice that it was not all that it was meant to be. First, the jewels were at an all time low for the type of job that it was. But it did have an easy opponent as well. Well, that was not too easy to claim, since it was all on paper. And he had enough chaos for today. It was about as much as he could handle before feeling a vein pop in his head. It was getting annoying, all of the big enemies. He had to take care of a storm king, by eating it up. How nice, and what a heartwarming message that the Reiaki was sending out to his fellow guild members by doing such a thing. It was not really killing, but that did not mean it was the best idea either. Plus, he did feel a little bit stronger when he took out the power like the pulp of the honey suckle taste that it left behind. Him eating up the wind was weird to others, because they did not know the true taste. Breathing it and eating it were different things. And honestly, every meal was a finer one than real food in his opinion. But his lerale conscious would tell him to eat real food for real events rather than the air. He can’t make himself look sloppy in front of others, he did not want to pull a rude manner from others to himself. While not many people in Fiore that he met seemed to care about that sort of thing… It seemed like he needed to do it so that same conscious would just shut up. It was depressing, he even felt himself whimper one time because he was unable to do it. But he met some good people in the process, and so it was worth it in the end. But he was also able to understand Ven’s hunger for fire. And it was more than just understandable, he was able to use the flames to fuel the wind he had, and amplify Ignite’s flames before sending them over to her. She had not been around for a while though, so he was unable to do it. Being an S rank back at Black Rose, he was able to understand her. It was a much better idea to get away from his guild and make a living at the time. He was feeling like the other guild members were able to give him a fun time, and despite getting in a lot of trouble with them, they were all able to laugh it off. If given the chance to redo it, he would not take it back. They were all so valueable to him, and he would still hang out with them today. There were few in his own that he hung around a lot, but the ones that he did hang around were very nice. One of them ended up being his girlfriend while he was there, and soon, marriage. What a beautiful time tha would be. So Ven can meet anyone that she wanted to, he did not want to hold her in chains and force her to interact with those that she can claim to be hers. While they were a family, they were also free to do what they want whenever they wanted. Mostly. Just as long as they did not murder without any real reason, they should all be good. Then again, he has seen surprises in the past, and he can’t just let them go by. They were unwritten rules, and things that just made sense. If someone tried to steal from him before then taking away business from the guild, they are likely going to get kicked out. Why? They were doing a lot of damage by trying to harm the trading of the guild. Trying being the keyword. All of it had to be done on purpose before the heavy infliction of punishment can be executed. Either being exile or Virgo, they were both going to be brutal, in equal weight to what they might have done to other beings in the process of their sins. Was it a bad mentality? Getting even? It depends, but the Lerale’s did not think of it to be wrong. If anything, that was how they were able to execute justice, which is why he thought no differently.

What did that have to do with anything? Well the taks was to take down a titan, a giant being that was able to destroy walls of the cities with just simply a few hits. Melee attacks only as far as he was concerned, meaning he was not going to be taking any damage for the fight. But that did not mean that he was going to just roll around and watch all of the destruction in the city occur. The goal was to protect before the titan can actually enter the area. This sounded surprisingly familiar, but that did not mean that he understood what was going on. First off, he was going to have to bring the Golden Phoenix army to make sure that nothing reckless were to happen. Next, he needed to consider another thing that was going to make things annoying. There were those on the dark side that were tyring to lead them towards the next targets. Basically, the titan is not alone, and it is being lead like a puppet to destroy anything in it’s path. Those unfortunate enough to face it end up in a damning path of destruction as the dark mages are going to try to take it down as well. They have been doing well, meaning that the jewels being offered were strong. According to the job… They would rather have it dead. It can be alive, but many attempts have been tried, and it was not going to calm down. It was better to have it dead and the dark mages that are controlling it would flee. They have noticed that without the giant, they were useless on their own until they could find another being that they would like to use as a puppet. That was good news, because all he would have to do is find the source of the chaos and make sure to put an end to it. That sounded easy enough… sounding being the keyword though. In all honesty, it must have been harder. The Rune Knights seemed to be on the scene already, but they could merely stall, hence why he got the letter in the first place. None of his guild members need to come. Only the army and himself are needed. Ignite was most likely not going to come for obviously petty reasons, and he was not going to bother her for such. And so he would continue to press forward with a half smile as he began to pace towards the tube of his private office. This was a waterslide sort of tube, though there was no water in it. It travelled through the ocean as it launched the body of the Guild Master into the air and on the top of the mountain.

Post by King Elyx 25th October 2016, 6:42 pm

Titan’s were not that big of a deal in his opinion, since he faced off against beings that were apparently not even supposed to be beaten by humans. Mainly the deities, but there were things like the storm king nd the hive bees that were also considered impossible to take down. A damn shame, but that was not something that was true after all. Lerales were not exactly the closest a human could be to a human, but it was pretty close. The things that made them different was that they were to live forever if they were to not die via heart stopping. It does not stop on it’s own, it keeps pumping blood. Another thing is that they do not age after 25, and no one bothers to continue counting either. Any Lerale could be any age. It’s why they also had so many people to choose form for partners, since they were all the same age at the end. It was a weird concept, but it was only because no one else knew what it was like. Yet, at the same time, kids tend to choose some around their age since they grew up with childhood friends, eventually becoming lovers with them. That was what happened with him and Adrelissa before the both of them… Fell apart perhaps is the correct term. Seeing how they were unable to see each other for a long time, they kind of broke it off. Elyx always thought of her to be dead, so he had a reason for that. And she just kind of went crazy for him, seeing as there was no one to guide her. Who knows? Elyx might have ended up like her if there was no Nimpha to come to him. The tears of pain that he had and held for so long were a pain, and eventually would be replaced and consumed by the hate that he had in his heart for them. How dare they do what they did, they should all be ashamed. However, he now knows that it was not all of them that did it. There was some being that did it, and they were the ones to pay if the Wizard Saint ever got the chance to get his hands around their throats. Of course, he would not be given the chance to do it, which is why he does not put his mind too much on it before. With that, Adrelissa had to fight him in order to come to her senses when he got to reason with her. The beast was far stronger than he was, and he was not able to advance much further with this sort of thing. She had a system called burning paralysis, which hurt a hell of a lot before she would kill them, eventually leeching their mana and placing it onto her own. It seemed like she was an unstoppable force against anything… Yet he was able to calm her down and even land a few hits on her. He was able to use wit, she was not thinking at all, and eventually, he gained the upper hand… Almost. She then grew desperate, used her strongest paralysis hold before slashing at him constantly, reducing his health faster than it could heal… Yet she was unable to kill him. His health did not drop past 1… He refused to lose to her until she came to her senses and would keep trying. The power she had was dangerous, which was why he was glad that she was on his side… Having her against him was brutal… It was a nightmarish time, but it was all over. No one could be more happy about that than him. One thing that had him bothered was now that they knew about him being the Wizard Saint of Fiore, being H rank, and him being the leader of Golden Phoenix… It was obvious to tell where he is. And they were probably going to send some more people after him. But they needed to learn of his location. Perhaps this job would ive them a bit of a hint. And if they are that brave, he would gladly face off against them. He did not have himself a nice hearty challenge for a long while, and this was going to be his chance to get it. Placing his palms in his pockets, these thoughts would trail through the back of his head before he would be launched into the air with a smile on his face, his soles landing on the ground without his knees even bending. The Reiaki would yawn as he had gone through that enough times to not even flail in the air anymore. His light brown hair was a little moist from the trip, droplets of water shaking a bit. However, it was not something that he minded, and he would just shake a little bit before he looked down with his light brown eyes upon the Phoenix Islands. Perhaps he needed one of them again, because he did not want to bother wasting any of his mana on trying to bring forth the phoenix servant of his. Even that deserved a chance to rest every now and then, which is what the Reiaki was planning to let it do. He knew how worked he was when he was able to do a lot of jobs. It was only fair to let others have a break when they have worked so hard. And considering the last time he had it summoned, it ended up having its summon closed anyways, which was only a waste to his mana and its time. What a shame…

So with that, he would jump onto one of the oncoming Phoenix Birds, which all recognized his mark before it would even bother trying to attack the Guild Master. They knew him, and would refrain from doing such a thing. The both of them were allies, the guild and the phoenix birds. The both of them together worked as a team, they were allowed to do this sort of thing. With that, he would use his weight to guide the being around. The army, he was going to have to call them in before they did naything reckless. But data fathering was the most important thing to him. So that was what he planned to do. Unfortunately for him, it was not going to be an easy task, since not many people have the information first hand. There were witnesses, but the areas where they got attacked probably were not going to have people that were still alive anymore. It hurt him a little bit to know that they were not alive anymore, and if he had known about it before, he would have been able to send it. But snail mail was a damning . Once the recon had been done, the both of them would be able to get out of there without having their bodies scathed by the titans, him and Ignite if she would come after their little fight. Hell, he still felt a little ache in his muscles from that fight, so she must have been left off with a lot worse than him. At least he knew that he could keep his generals in check, despite them having so much power. The Magic Council finally allowed her to be classified as an H rank being, a problem that he had during the previous times where he was H rank, but they made her stay at S rank because she was not able to become a mage. A member of a guild at best, but never a mage. Such a stupid amount of logic, but they were willing to see things through at least. It was perfect now, they were able to give him a bit of support. Placing his palms in his pockets, he would look over the islands as they would begin to disappear from sight. It was a nice amount land that he had, but he felt that he could expand it a bit further. The next island beside him did not seem to have too much life. With a few contracts and a few bags of jewels, he might be able to treat his guild to something other than the Phoenix Islands and the trading ports. With this in his mind, he would end up smiling, thinking of what they could do with it. Maybe a little carnival, or a huge pool, one bigger than the one at his guild. Perhaps if he was able to clear the job, he can pay the beginning of it. But it would require a lot more jobs. Still, it was very much worth it. After he got the shop, he will probably discover and claim some islands as well as their treasures and their materials. Things would be easy to build up from there. With that, he would then leave the scene, moving over towards where the titan is… The cursed lands. Specifically, fat monster land. A stupid name, but it was accurate as well. Every one of them fell however, and the titan that he was about to fight was no different. If anything, he would be more creeped by the people he needed to save rather than the beasts he was protecting them from instead. How pathetic. But their walls are not too sturdy either then since the cursed lands never seem to be protected from things that are on the physical side rather than the spiritual… For good reason, but a rare case of physical attacks are occurring. This would result in low defenses… Seems reasonable enough for him. What a wonder what they go through during this time, and how they are trying to fight back. At least the rune knights were there to fight with some force, but how much and how long can they hold?

Post by King Elyx 26th October 2016, 12:58 pm

However, he was going to have to call in a few people to help him out. He could easily call Iza on the job, but she was worrying about her own guild at the moment. And he did not imagine the next time they met being in combat against a huge enemy. They never really did fight against something, maybe he should try to invite her on a job. That was something that he needed to cross off the list of things for him to do. After all, they could not just spend their time in their guilds and doing nothing else. It sounds dope, they had a plan. Instead, he was going to call in his own forces and the forces of the royal guard. The Reiaki would place up his lacrima orb of communication in order to get access to the king. The king and him were able to connect to each other now, it was a little gift that the royal man was willing to offer the Guild Master. Provided he got the job done, the royal members should have no trouble with helping out the Brunette. With that, he would then begin the call, hoping that the busy man would respond to the Guild Master. After a few seconds of the call being held, there would be a response in a cheery tone. It was cheery, yet powerful at the same time. Some people just had a talent. He would even recognize the Reiaki was well when he called. Such a job was something that Elyx would gladly do once again provided he be given a chance. It was likely that would not be the case, but such a thought was still something that made him smile. However, he was going to have to think about his own current job. The king would then ask him what he needed and why he was calling. He was the only one who could get that sort of access to the big man without arranging a meeting or getting some sort of invitation. Some people could actually get killed if they tried to reach out to him without some sort of position to do so. That was why he never bothered until now, where he can guarantee that his head would not be placed on a pike. With that, the Wizard Saint would respond. He took a delicate approach to the topic so that the king would not have too much pressure in the luxury of his own castle. First, he needed to mention that the enemy was from the cursed lands, meaning that it was pretty important. However, a Titan was fighting this battle, and the Rune Knights seem to be lacking. The king would q1uestion why they would not try to tell their leaders. Their pride seems to be at an all-time high, and that was all that the Sky Slayer could guess. So that was the response that he was giving to the king. It seemed reasonable, but the Reiaki made sure to not guarantee anything. Provided he got the answer wrong hat could come back to bite him really hard, which is not something that he was aiming for. The last thing that ne needed was to try to anger the king with lies. So with that out of the way, the king would understand before he would continue to explain the problem at hand. The titan was trying to break down the physical walls that were there, and that it would not take too long for that to be the case. They were not so well armed in the physical aspect as they are in the spiritual aspect. They were not armed to take on things themselves, and that is why the Rune Knights can only have so much support before the both of them ended up falling to the enemies. Enemies, not enemy. The king noticed this detail, asking if there were more beings on the scene trying to do something with it. Good timing, Elyx was just about to get into it, to make sure that the king knew that it was urgent. With that, he would then explain that there is a theory that the dark mages are holding it captive to their magic, allowing to move, but only whenever they wanted it. That was a cruel task they did, but it ended up working, and the titan became a puppet. This would anger the king, as his tone would grow darker a little. Perfect, things were going in the favor of the Reiaki. The royal big man would end up asking what was needed. It was simple. And so he would just simply ask for some of the kings forces to make sure they were able to support the falling Rune Knights and the lands. Perhaps they could even capture a few of the men that tried to corrupt the beat that was rampaging through the land. With that, he would agree without even a small drop of hesitance, giving him and his army a little bit more support to work with. This was perfect, the Reiaki knew now that he did not need to fear with the armies of both him and the king working together. With that, the both of them had been set and agreed on what they wanted. It did not take too long to hang up, and so with that, the favor and the armed been set and agreed on what they wanted. It did not take too long to hang up, and so with that, the favor and the arm of the king were still with him. Seems like he could take down the beings to come. N ow the next call went over to Nimpha using a different orb, making a call over to the other treasure hunter. This would allow him to talk to her only, and he held many of these in his knapsack that he always on his back. It was a perfect tool for him. With that, the talking would be done as Nimpha tends to be busy, but always answered. Her tone was even happier than the king when he answered, which was beyond strange to anyone, but the Reiaki knew this was her usual tone towards humanity. It was an odd thing for sure, but she could not help it. When someone talked to her, she would try to start up the longest conversations and would not bother trying to let them go until she had enough of speaking. And so he would make sure to lead the chat so they did not end up going in circles. With that, he would end up speaking to her rather than saying hello or the worst question, “How are you”. Instead, he would go straight to the point. The Reiaki would request that she sent three parties worth of men from his army. There were ten, and each of them had a good number, a good two hundred per party. Despite being a somewhat smaller army, each of them were trained to be some of the best to exist in the land, which is something that he himself took pride in. And even smaller armies of smaller numbers could destroy a huge army if they were able to fight hard enough and win such battles against them. They could do this by being very well trained like he believed his men to be. The treasure hunter would ask why he needed them all of a sudden, in which he would avoid answering as he would just explain the situation, not quite in the way she expected, but that was because her words fell on deaf ears. He would tell her first that the job was going to be done in fat monster land, a stupid name, and she giggled a little bit. Regardless, he continued. And the Rune Knights were falling a little short against them, so he called the king in order to get some of the royal army to fight for him and work at his command. But his men also were needed to fight, because there were probably some dark mages that were controlling the being. This was a rumor, but that was nothing that she needed to know. Unlike the king, she would take a little bit of time to think about it before then agreeing with him, and would send over three towards the cursed lands. This meant that he had a huge army, nearly the number of all his men in his army, to fight for him. He himself was going to handle the beast that was there, but he needed to put all of his attention onto the enemy in front of him, not the ones that were by the sides. Seems like both sides were able to understand that, which is why neither of them questioned him too much. With that out of the way, the only thing that needed to be done was find an entrance to the lands without causing much more of a scene in case it has not gotten to the next target. This was one of the riskier plans, but he thought that he could pull it off, and so he would try to locate the entrance using his sensing of magic. He knew that many beast tried to break In through the entrance. Quatro was going to help him out with it, and so he would end up trying to break through the entrance with them… Only to push them away and make sure they do not enter. It was to make way for his army only, and they can expect heavy resistance from him if they dared try anything stupid like that. With that, he would end up find it, towards the west wing first, then they can cut in through the north. It was an interesting layout, but perhaps they were lured. In that case, he can’t rely on his magic sensory to get the truth out of where the entrance could be. It was a shame, he thought he was onto something, but that in itself was not true. It was just going to make things a little harder. He needed to make sure he could guide the armies somewhere… Quickly. As soon as he can. If they came, but he had no idea where to put them, the royal castle will definitely have something to tell the king once they ended up back. The Phoenix had to move quickly before time ran out.

Post by King Elyx 26th October 2016, 3:49 pm

The next step was to see where the… Well, he lost his thought there as he would see the next scene in front of him, and it did not look anywhere near pretty. The monsters were already attacking, meaning they were going to break in the towns soon. If they were too close, they would begin to destroy. Seems like he found the entrance, and recon was not something that could be done right now sadly. On the plus side, he felt that he could do the task right now and end it all. But that would mean the royal army would think of him to be playing around with him and the king, which was not something that the Reiaki needed to have on his resume. So unfortunately for him, he was going to have to wait. However, he could also set up some traps that could slow them down. The first one was to negate any primary and items they had, making sure that neither of them can be of good use for a long while. Once that occurred, he would then jump off of the fiery beast that he was standing on, diving headfirst towards the ground before placing his right palm outwards. Once he landed, he would move his body forward from the handstand that he was on, placing his body forward before then hitting the ground with his feet, the left one first before the right. It almost looked as if he were stepping by walking rather than by landing. With that, he would sense the beings out towards his right side, but they were not within range. He was going to have to stall before they got to the next city, wherever it was. With that, he would stand there for a few more moments, hoping that either of the two armies would arrive so that he would not have to carry out the first trap that he had for them. However, that did not seem to be how they were going to do things, as the armies have yet to arrive by the time the monsters arrived within range. It was a shame for sure, they were going to have to lose a lot of liberty in the process. However, this can be applied onto allies as well. Provided they were unable to resist the negation of their things, they were trapped to fight with simply spells and secondary things. Everything else is ogne, reduced to shreds. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada. With that, he would place his palms in his pockets, closing his eyes and putting his head down as he could feel the darkness swarm through his veins. It seems he was going to ave to call upon it once again, the sky deity that was in his body needed to show some of his or her power to him. The darkness would burn in his core for a few seconds before letting him have the energy, seeing as it was unable to take over his H rank strength body. With that, he would then place out both of his palms, a green outline formed around him in the shape of a circle before he would then have the circle expand outwards. It was a nullification aura that allowed him to shut down many things that the enemies relied on. He was an independent Sky Deity Slayer for a reason, he was on his own whenever he used this sort of thing. With that, a giant gust of wind would spin within the borders of the spell tat he casted out. While anything was within the range of the spells, they were unable to use their primary magi abilies or any items that they had on their being. Thi w as ahuge lockdown mechanism that he designed to make sure that opponents were punished if they wanted to cause him harm. If they wanted to play that sort of game, then they were going to have to sufer without having much to fight with. And that was when they would carry onto melee. With that, he would use his magic armor of Quatro that he had been given to make sure all of the impacts are reduced to nothing. Like hell was he going to have any of that sort of thing around him. The swordplay he tried failed him once, and he was not going to let it corrupt him once again. No one else knew it, but he was killing himself because of that magic. A magic that was not even designed to be a magic did more damage than Lerale magic did. Irony was cruel in that way, but it was all over now. And he was S ranked suring that time anyways, where he thought he knew it all and thought that he had everything figured out. How foolish of him to think such a thing. But again, he was much younger and much more naïve and exposed to danger during that time. Now he liked to believe that he was stronger to the core and will prove that via this job. Now he was determined to prove the other half of him wrong. And all he needed to do was borrow the power that the Sky deity imbued inside of his body, making sure that it would not end up rebelling against him, and he was free to go for a lockdown. Was it the sporty way of using magic? Perhaps not. But he did not try to go around and make a big deal out of it, trying to pick fights and the sort. If they just happened to get in the way, that was a completely different thing, and he will use what he has. Plus, it is not like he would go all out on an opponent on the first run whenever he felt like it. In case they tried to get him to surrender his things, he would make sure to overwhelm them with the numbers. The Celestial Spirits were on his side, and he could summon up to four of them at a time, three of them without even so much as a risk. It was perfect. With that, he was ready to go. The beasts seemed to groan in agony as they felt the effects of the wind, but they could not yet tell where they were coming from. They were also getting closer, but Elyx was afraid that he was not allowed to let them do that. The village was within eyesight, meaning it was far too close. Any closer and they can start wrecking the place. They needed to get out of there as soon as they can. Elyx understood why they were only able to stall for time while he needed to fight… They were not going to take down such a huge army. It was a stupid thing to expect from him as well, the numbers and the sizes were just not on his side. Even with the Celestials, the numbers were still connected to his magic power, and they would probably drain him a lot in the process, which made things a lot more damning for him. Virgo could wrap one of them up with her chains, but then there were many others, and she was not able to move for the duration of her holding them down with said chains. So what does one do next? He could have Aludra summoned for meteors, but she does not have much else that she could do other than that, and they each needed to wait a little bit between each use, making it little to no use to them for the moment. Her attacks were basic, despite being skilled in both melee and spells. However, for her ranking, nothing seemed to be too special. It was fine though, as long as they were able to do something, then maybe there was some hope. The real reason why Elyx would not do it was because he could not summon four. Even if he brought Aiyana as well, that would equate to three beings, four of them being Elyx. After that, there were no more keys that could do some damage. Lindsey could fuel him up with her ability to manipulate wind, but that was about as far as it could go with that. Perhaps he needed to think of a few things before he carried out the plan that he did, but now it was far too late. The whole lot of them were arriving. Perhaps he should actually fight them… They were going to be hard, but the goal was to stall and make sure that the armies arrived. A bit of adventure never hurt anyone, Iza was a good example of that. Somehow, she seemed to never get that fluffy tail of her dirty after a job, despite having many people wanting to come for her blood. Then again, she probably did not let them get to her… She never really did care to let others ruin her fun. And Tanuki always did seem to want to be tricky and stubborn… So there was that as a factor as well. Placing his right hand down so that he could grip Bound Iris, he would unsheathe the weapon from the hold before allowing it to reflect the moonlight of the cursed lands, allowing them to see where it was coming from. He wanted their attention, so that he could cripple them. To help them, he would then also use the Worlds Story effect, allowing five blades of light to be summoned around his body, and all of them were controlled by his mind. They were all like pets to him, and they were more than ready to assist. Now he had six swords against an army of enemies coming up. The dark mages had best prepare themselves, because this was going to be one hell of a battle. The Lerale mage was looking for quite the thrill. Their stomps would shake the ground, his body moving along with the waves that were being made. Eventually, they would show up, right in front of him. Their weaponry had been locked, but that did not mean that they could not swing it, not that they seemed to notice what the wind did to them anyways. Perhaps it was best that they remained ignorant to what had happened, it would save both parties a lot of trouble and eases the mind of both. And if they could not even understand him, they most likely could not speak to him. Now where was the titan…

The first ones that tried to approach him seemed kind of dead anyways, so it does not seem like they were going to e feeling too much. There were plenty of them though, so they would all require a few slices. He decided to place out two of his palms out towards the enemies with a smile on his face, a half smile of course. With this, he would end up having the blade of light slash out towards the side of them, allowing each of the to hit with the area of effect effect on them. It was a perfect hit, allowing them to stay back from him. There were more enemies coming, and so he would use the three blades that he had left to cover the width that was exposed to danger. Perhaps he could get the job done by slicing them all with the worlds access. However, that was a waste, and he would end up taking a lot of his magic power away from himslf. Enough had been done with the lockdown that he placed on the enemies in front of him. There was no need to continue adding the salt and the wind to the fire, with no puns intended. With that, he would end up being able to place the smaller onces down, but many of the dead enemies seemed to want to ontinue fighting. Many of them were there. He noticed that none of them were armed, not did any of them think of using any magic against him. They were going to use their own bodies for melee, which was an interesting choice, but to each their own. The Reiaki would slice upwards towards the first enemy in his path, knocking it up into the air before he would kick the second one, causing it to stumble back. Finally, he would end up spinning around to cause the next attack to cause the body of the other opponent that had been launched to be used as a bullet to cut through the enemies. It was a beautiful sight, he was able to rip them with their own. With that, they would cut a line through them before hitting one of the trees. He looked over to his right side to notice that one of his blades were losing some control. It was unfortunate. Considering how they were trying so hard, and there were so many of the enemies, he could not quite blame the swords for losing ground. All right, so perhaps a little magic was in order. So the Wizard Saint would place out his palms to cast out the next giant spell in his set, hopefully being able to recover magic quicker than he could lose it. Unfortunately, he seemed to have to use some strong spells, and he might not have too many when the armies of the royal castle, and the Golden Phoenix guild arrives. He’d like to be the ones to lead them off of the battlefield with a victorious stance as he held up Bound Iris. With this, he’d feel once enemy from the side coming for him, and he had not seen it coming until it nearly bit him on the arm. With panic in his eyes, he’d move that exposed arm upwards, jolting his body towards the left side to prevent that attack from getting to him. It was a successful dodge, but barely. The second enemy nearly got him, trying to hold him before aiming to take a bite from his neck. Elyx would move his head back quickly to damage and shatter the bridge of the nose of the zombie behind him, causing it to lose it’s head instead, and so an aimless body without command would have no ability to move around with control, nor could it hold him still. It was a close call, but at least he was able to survive that brutal attempt at ripping him open from the inside out. With that, he would continue to fight the enemies. The first zombie tried to swipe at him with a sloppy palm to the right, aimed towards Elyx’s face. It would end up meeting the air that the Sky Slayer controlled as he would move his head under the attack, resulting in him being able to get the second attack in. He would use his available left hand to grab the exposed arm of his opponent, throwing him over his back and into the air, and with careful aim, would throw bound iris the way he threw a knife. It would spin over and over, rotating with a lot of speed before hitting through the heart of the opponent, causing it to fall onto the ground. The sword was stuck in it’s body, and he was not going to pull it out. So he would place his hand out towards it, causing it to dissolve in the air before having it come back to him in that palm. It was a summoning technique for weaponry to make sure that he never had his sword out from his hand. It was something he had been taught with his previous magic, but now he was able to do it with his sword as long as the sword had the power to do something so cool. With that out of the way, there was the question of him and how long he can use this sort of thing. As far as he knew, it was endless, but there were caes where he has been denied. For example, if the sword was way too far from him, it would not come over to him since it would not be able to read the command of his palm, thus making it unable to come to him. So he just needed to be close, but other than that, he was all set when it came to fighting them. The next enemy tried to get him from the side, in which Elyx would swing the other direction in a circle, cutting it from the neck and causing a head to roll. The running body nearly slammed into him, but it would meet a lifted knee before he kicked it back, causing it to stumble without aim and fall back quickly. They were not too good at combat, probably because they are lacking the common brain needed to think of how they could get to him. He would then move over towards the blade that is lacking ground, hoping to give it a little bit of support to help it out. He would slice one of the zombies that aimed to destroy the weapon that was stopping them from getting through. The weapon would no longer end up getting tossed by the wave of zombies that tried to cut It short from life. With that, it would end up falling onto it’s knees as he sliced at the head again, causing it to fall onto the ground once again. It placed a smile on his face to know that such an enemy had been defeated so quickly. With that, the second would aim to try to bit him, but the sword of light had been prepared and sliced upwards at the chin of the undead. While it was up, it would then slam the edge of the sword down onto the opponent once again, which ended up placing the enemy down onto the ground once again with no chance of recovery. With that, the Reiaki would be grabbed from behind once again, only for him to slam the back of his head against the enemy, knowing what to do now. There was no panic in him now, because he knew what to do now. It would fall back once again. The blades began to return to him without much of a problem, allowing him to get around without a problem. The smaller enemies have been handled on his own, and that was that. The next attack that he needed to carry out needed to take on the weirder enemies, they seemed slower, but they also stood as tall as his cousin, which was a damningly tall height. Elyx refused to believe they were like that naturally, there had to be some magic from the dark magic that was causing them to end up being so tall. It was so weird to see them in such a state, but they were there, and he had to fight them off now. Nodding his head, he would embrace the fate that he had and make sure to take care of them. With a smile, he was prepared. All of the blades of light would begin to spin around his body. It was a perfect spinning circle, all of the spikes aiming to surround his body and make sure that he was not going to fall to the wave of incoming enemies. The weapons think he was in it to win, which was a good mentality, but that was not what he had been aiming for. That was unfortunate however, and he’d be able to handle thing only long enough to stall, and not to win. No being should be able to handle a whole army like that on their own, that was just not something they could do, and they would be lying if they said they could. Sky Slayer magic was strong, but to take on big numbers? That was just too odd. Though something in him felt weird when he thought about this… Something like hate if he had to guess… He could not tell why, but that was the emotion that was being sent through his body, and it made him feel rather weird. Was there any reason for him to hate that? The fact that he was not able to handle them? He did not like to think he had a big ego, it was annoying for people to have that sort of thing. It was odd however, that could not be it. He was raised a Lerale, he was the one challenged for the title, and he was the one who ended up getting the title. He wanted to make his own guild to help other people out. Yet… He was unable to prevent the thought of him being high and mighty… It was nasty in his opinion, and that counted for something if they thought so highly of him. Not that they cared, and not like they would change their mind. Interesting.

Post by King Elyx 27th October 2016, 12:27 pm

The next set of enemies to try to come after him did not seem so easy. The blades were pushed back a to easier than the last time, and the enemies were in higher numbers. This truly was not a battle that he was designed to win. Before he was given the chance to actually try to help the weapons in any way that he could, he would end up having himself take a hit from behind due to a lack of focus, forcing his body forward. The second hit was from the front, using the momentum to stop the Reiaki in his place with a balled up fist. With that, he would stumble back a little bit before a third attempt to strike him from above was done. The Sky Slayer would end up having the armor activated for him to make sure that all of the barrage would stop getting to him, and in a good manner of time as well since the damage was beginning to pile up from that. The one who tried to slam him to the ground ended up with shattered wrists at the end of that little encounter. With that, Quatro was active, meaning that he himself would be punished if he tried to do something that reckless against them. However, he seemed to have gotten off lucky as he did not end up getting damaged from them anymore, and his body could only heal so much damage before he eventually would begin to lose it. Nothing was a perfect build, some things can be close, but nothing came close to perfect. With that, he would place his palm against the ground before carrying out the next spell of his, which would swarm the scene around him with wind once again. This was a hurricane, and it could heavily damage those in his path. Because of this, the Reiaki would have the winds cut through all of the beings that were around him, both friend or foe. In doing this, the blades took a bit of damage from the winds, but every enemy around them took that sort of damage as well. It was more of a give and trade if anything. Once that had been done, he would then pounce forward before throwing a palm of wind at the enemy line. It seemed small at first, and none really bothered to move out of the way. It did not seem like any of them were going to move out to save themselves from the range that small sphere had in it. That was fine, they did not need to make his life any harder than they were making it. With that, they would end up taking some e knockback as the particles of wind would end up exploding, forcing them to lash back away from the city. He was not backing down yet, he had plenty more spells to work with now. He noticed that he had been lacking in attacks, and relied too much on keys in order to get the attacks he needed to win a fight against someone. This was a danger, and Nimpha herself knew it. She promised that it was not the best move to make such a request, but if he were really intent on doing it, she can prevent his limits from getting to him and restricting his magic use by allowing the being to be a little freer. It would not overtake him, but it might make him change a bit whenever some of the new spells were used. Elyx thought that it was fine, and that such a thing is not really needed anyways. As it was, he made sure that he was not going to be using too many things that revolved around H rank. If anything, that in itself is just a material, which is something not many beings would do.; He found much stronger things when it’s used solely as a material. Spell fusions were the way to go to cause devastation nowadays, and if he could continue to mix and make new combinations, he would be able to carry out a lot more attacks than before. This was something too useful to him, because4 while they did require a lot of mana for him to even think about using, and considering how they would be put to rest for a long time after, the attacks were quick, instant, and made sure to leave a good hurting to those who dare oppose him. What a fun time. The new spells he added would be used to take care of the smaller waves, all but the exception of one being. The titan. There was a ce4rtain spell that would give him a bit of answers as well as control over the battlefield. Provided one is in the spell, they were not allowed to get out. The drawback he had been told was that he would not get to control it, but someone else would. However, that being seemed to want to help him only, and that nothing should be feared about it. Elyx could only hope that she was right about it, and he was going to find out. If they wanted him out of the scene, they were going to have to fight him too. What was one more enemy to handle anyways? With this, he would place his palms out to carry out the first attack. A giant wave of wind would ripple through the ground in a straight line at a moderate speed, causing the ground to break in half as he would end up having the rock under the ground coated in darkness, now being able to use the earth to his advantage for a bit. All the enemies under would end up falling in the center of the attack, unable to move out since it was that deep. This forced Elyx to feel a bit of burning in the core, but not too much, and the pain was relatively ignored as he would have adrenaline come to his aid to make sure that he did not overheat in the process of the battle. With this, he would end up having that spell ripple through some of the bigger enemies that also wanted him dead in the process as well. Considering how they were not even able to touch him, he had no idea how they were still sending in so many so fast. Then again, the confidence could come from the fact that the five blades were still around him. Purely made from light, even considered a light magic attack, so it would not hurt him. Yet he ended up taking some damage in the process as well when he had a few hits from before, but not too many, not enough to get him to the breaking point. Quatro was still a factor, and Stella was sleeping, not yet even bothering to try to protect him since they don’t seem to be having any factors in the battle. The next wave was coming soon, and there were only a few beings left that were after him. Some of them sadly got towards the city, and he was unable to stop them. The rest he could only leave up to the council and the golden phoenix members, hoping that they would stop the march onto there. However, those alone can’t seem to do too much damage. The next ones were however… And they did not seem to want to let him down when it came to a battle. Elyx thought as such, and he was not going to hold back either. Seems the keys were needed for this battle. He decided to have the help that he desperately needed. The first one was a regular silver key, Aludra. With that, he would begin to chant as he raised the key up in the air with his right palm. “I open the gate of the Chronicle mage! Come forth, Aludra!” The Reiaki would exclaim, having the light shine from the tip of the key onto the ground, which would open up the key. The key that was revealed would end up having the mage come out onto the scene. One of the two were out. The next of the two was the golden key of the set. It was the maiden, and she was needed for her earth control. He would place the golden key up into the air once again, the light shining in the darkness as he slammed it back down onto the ground once again, opening the gate. “I open up the gate of the maiden as well! Come forth, Virgo!” The Guild Master would exclaim, slamming the metal down onto the ground, opening a new gate that allows him to open the world to the next being used to fight alongside him. It was too easy, the three of them should have no problem… Though he did feel a bit of himself draining away. Checking the amount of mana that he had in his body, he would instantly figure out what his problem was. It was the lack, and he was using far too much. Those summons were both 10 mana, which was profoundly much. Then the previous spells he had been using stack onto the cost with that, leaving him wide open for much danger unfortunately. It was sad, he was unable to that that sort of thing without paying a price. It was more of a 2 on many battle rather than 3, because he can’t fight without causing his body to overheat and lack energy, then he would have some real problems… With that, he would then point forward to all of the monsters, the both of them nodded, and the dance really begun. Virgo would begin by using the 30 meter chains as whips to prevent them from going forward. Crowd control, and not the way he had expected her to carry out the attacks. But it was worth it, far better than the plan he had. Aludra was a bit more predictable, acting as a paladin as she would fight off with her melee attacks before going a bit more into long range. It was too easy for him to watch as they would swarm with their melee hits, trying to do some form of damage to him, but end up hurting themselves way more at the end. The three kept a lot of the crowd in check… But not all…

Post by King Elyx 27th October 2016, 2:33 pm

The next part to handle were the wolves. They were not going to go too far since they were all fat. They were moving in such a sluggish way, it made the Reiaki kind of pity them for such a poor performance that they were putting up for him. But they were trying, and they were aster than a human, but the average one, not him. And even without Stella, he had no problem with matching their pace. While armor was up, he still wanted to have a bit of fun with the doggies, as well as get them close to him so that Virgo and Aludra would be safe. The first one would try to bat at him, which he would deny by raising his leg up over the palm before slamming his foot down on the palm. Using that as a step, he’d use his other leg to get up into the air by lifting himself up from the head. With that, he would then flip into the air, where they were all end up barking at him as he would spin around. They were not going to harm him, while they did try to jump up for him and howl. They could not do that because of the amount of weight that was on their body, not that he was to shame them, but they were just not able to get up to him, which was the truth. Perhaps its better if he stayed silent instead of making such bold statements, but at least he did not get harmed while up in the air, and he made a gentle landing on the back of one of the wolves before he ran, using all of them as a platform form him while they were trying to maul him. He would tread on their backs, running for sport as he tried to keep as many of them away from the Celestial Spirits or the town as he could. This was a lot harder of a task than one could expect it to be, since some went stray after giving up on him. It was like a circus act trying to keep as many children close to them so that they don’t end up losing their job. With this, he would then land on the ground on his back, grabbing two of the paws of one of the wolves. He’d launch the body of the opponent through the crowds of wolves that were there before then having that same body fly into the air, catching a few of the other wolves in the process. This was not a melee attack done by him, but by the body of a wolf, and the wolf was the one inflicting the damage, so the spirit armor was nothing too big of a deal. With that, he ended up placing his palms in his pockets as he stood. He knew he made the dogs angrier for what he had done, which was the point. The more attention that he could get pointed his direction, the better. He lived with one before, he knew what it was like to have a dog for a roommate. That roommate also became his partner at the end, so he really knew what kind of being he was dealing with. One thing that they all had was pride, and they tey were not going to let down from a battle until they are satisfied. If that means they get beaten to a bloody pulp, then so be it. As long as they were not going to surrender… None of them seemed to be that smart, which is probably why they don’t think so accurately. Goals and mindsets are the same. For example, these dogs wanted to kill, but in reality, they might probably just want attention or to play around. They go out of their ways to make sure that these addictions are fed… Nothing will stop them from getting whatever they wanted if this is the case. How unfortunate. With this, the beings would try to rip into his body once again, digging their teeth into the armor, and then coming out with two lost teeth in the process. The sight was none too pretty, all bloody, and actually made the Reiaki feel a slight amount of pity. Slight being the keyword there, but that was then washed over as he remembered that they were the enemies, and that they wanted his life. So he would just keep moving around, keeping their attention onto him. The clown was doing his job, but will the enemies get bored? Meanwhile, Virgo seemed to have a bit of a battle on her own, moving her earth attacks around and slamming them into the bodies of those that were on the right side of Elyx that did not bother trying to mess with him. The maiden was sending them all back with many makes. And there was a lot of earth to work with as well, all of it natural, so it would inflict a heavy amount of damage onto an opponent rather than magic earth. While magic is deemed more durable, it tends to inflict less damage than the average amount. To put it into perspective, lightning was the same case. Lightning moved at a fast enough speed as it was, but it is only controlled by the mana in the body of the user. And tends to only be as strong as the user. Then came real lightning, which was an extremely fast elementon it’s own, moving way faster than most lightning based spells. They were stronger and did not need the users mana. Same for Virgo, she could control the earth however she wanted and inflicted critical damage in doing so, a beautiful sight for him to use. They were able to send many beings back, and she can also bring back her former earth attacks to make new ones in their place. It was a near endless cycle, and none of them required magic. This is one of Virgo’s strongest positions. With that, she would continue to send waves of earth over towards the enemies without even so much as a smile. Her palms just kept moving in rhythm, as if she were leading a marching band. It was interesting the Celestial spirits were a lot like their owners based on how those owners acted. Not so much that they woluld make a noticeable difference in Fiore, but still to the point where one who can use the keys are able to notice the similarities between an owner and a key. With that, the earth continued shifting, eventually becoming quicksand. Finally, she would cover them all with domes of rock. Eventually, they would all implode, causing a major amount of blood to fly in the process. It was a quick method of killing them, but those who defied Elyx were not so much a valuable being to her. The maiden lived to serve, and those who opposed the master would end up in danger, despite how much they denied it. It was a method of thinking, and Virgo was always naturally more of a masochist anyways. Virgo handled her side, and would begin to focus on the wolves around Elyx, where there was a huge crowd aiming for his blood. None of that was going to be spilled on her watch. All she had to do was locate where he was and make sure not to hit there. To do this, she’s jump into the air, looking down with an eagle eye view before then finding him in the crowd, moving along with the wolves. To make sure not to hurt him, she would start a wave behind him, noticing his speed and matching it, causing the wolves behind his feet to fly into the air, but not him. It took two seconds because of how quick the whole scene was, but they were able to rid him of the wolves that were getting at him. They were able to beat their sides. The Reiaki would land on the ground on his feet once again before then looking to the maiden, whom also landed on the ground as well right beside him. She looked forward with a blank facial expression, hands folded in front of her, not even bothering to cheer or celebrate or anything of the sort. With that, the both of them would look over to Aludra to see how she was doing. To that left side, she was doing sell. With a staff, zhe was fighting them all off, giving them all good whacks to the head to teach them lessons. The way she twirled the weapon in her hands, it looked so good and controlled, not one being was able to get her to lose grace in her fighting style. With that, they were able to get a bit on her staff… Which she ended up letting go before using a pillar of light to slam on the back of the wolf and force it to cough out the wooden staff, letting her have it again. They were not getting to the paladin. With a final push, she would then get ored of the ones that she had, eventually, putting them all to the meteor spell as it would come in collision with the wolves. Not held back or anything, just one giant meteor to prevent anything from getting to her. Game over, they would end up having their bodies lie on the ground while she spun the staff behind her back, a calm smile on her face as she would look over to the Reiaki and the maiden. With that, he would end up placing his palms in his pockets as she would walk over to him calmly. The being was coming for them… They were not going to go too far now. They actually beat the armies… And he was low on magic, but still. With that, the Reiaki was going to end up having the rest of his magic drained. The other two beings around him would end up having their magics ready for the final boss. Perhaps the armies are not needed. They were not going to get in the battle before the titan got to them… This was just a fact… With that, they were ready. All of them would end up having their stances placed, ready for battle against them all. The final battle was soon to come.

Titan Slayer Empty Re: Titan Slayer

Post by King Elyx 27th October 2016, 3:46 pm

The being in front of them was not going to hold back, that was for sure. The Reiaki would make sure that they were going to live at the end. He did not think that he could make it this far, but he wiped out the giant army that had been placed in front of them. Now they had the big boss to take care of, which was not going to be an easy task. The one thing about it that was interesting was how it did not even seem to notice the three of them. It kept on taking giant steps across the lands, destroying many things in the process. The parade was done, and it must have noticed that at least. While it did not notice them, he would end up thinking a little bit about how it would react. Beings were a lot smarter in Fiore than stories made them out to be. If it had the ability to plan, things are going to be tough. The spirit armor was almost done, maybe he could fight back with a sword if he needed to. However, that was not going to be needed as he would end up getting in Virgo and Aludra’s way. But the Reiaki needed to be useful for something at least! He had support magic, but that did not mean he needed to be treated as a weak support like many thought of the sky slayer to be. It was rather annoying to have that stereotype placed on him. People seem to always want to label beings based on what they use so that they could feel better about themselves. Placing his palms in his pockets, he would look up to the giant to see what it was going to do, would it notice such tiny beings? Or would it continue without batting an eye? The latter of the two was such a dangerous choice, how unfortunate. With that, the being would end up trying to step past them. Virgo would be the first to react to this, placing her palms out to control the ground and launch a pillar of earth forward and towards the direction of the foot. However, the earth would be denied as it pressed the power back down so easily. It must have weighed far too much for her power alone. That was a bit discouraging, since knocking it off balance is not too much of an option for the group of them now. Aludra can’t try to melee battle against it either for obvious reasons. It would continue to step, nearly getting past them. And the meteor can’t be brought back into the battle since it had just been used a minute ago, and so it was still charging. There was not much of a choice… He needed to take things in his own hands. Aiyana was probably busy, but not for the Star Suit since she won’t be bothered. Getting involved in such a job is not something that she needed to do. With that, the Reiaki would end up holding up the black and golden key that had been given to him. With it, he was able to summon a mage and their entirety, for a small cost of their magic being a little weaker than before, but nothing too major, nothing that she could not handle. And now that he was a sky slayer, he would be able to supply her with magic power. With that shutdown, he would end up having the power in his veins flow faster as he would use his star suit ability. This would trigger the key and have his body coated in white light magic of the celestials. It was a powerful transformation, because what was needed was an embrace of the next element he could use, the frostfire. The being was able to leech mana from the titan if he lands a few strikes that it would notice. His body would be outlined before all of the details would turn white, no one noticing his he had been relieved of all of his clothes for the moment before taking a few seconds to transform. His body was free for the celestial spirit world to transform at their own free will. With that, a set of fox ears would be placed on his body as well as a huge set of tails for him to work with. It was a perfect transformation, embracing her power and adding it onto her own. It allowed him to manipulate an element that he was once used to with the Knight of Frostfire that used to fight alongside him. He would wonder where he had gone sometimes, but he did promise to arrive back on the scene. And Quatro and Stella were able to provide him with what he needed in order to survive. Still however, he did miss the knight, and he would at least like to hear from the being every now and then. But he probably had his own reasons for doing what he did. It was too odd for him to just stand around and do nothing about it. But he was going to figure it out later, the knight was doing his own thing, and the Sky Slayer had the top titles, he did not need to seem so petty and use his power to bring a spirit that does not want to be spoken to for the moment. With that in his mind, he would then have his body placed back into the light with all the details revealed. His body and clothes have been changed. He had a pair of jeans of the color black, ripped. His upper half had a top that had no sleeves on them, and his muscles were enhanced as well. His eyes were white like his hair, both of them glowing. His usual neutral face or half smile would end up having a smirk on his face, the way Aiyana usually seemed to have one while in battle, provided she not be angered. Who was he to say though, he did not see her in combat too often. With that, he would end up placing his palms in his pockets as the foot of the titan would try to stomp down onto his body. It was not going to work though, Elyx was not the type to fall back so easily. A platform of frostfire had been made below the foot of the being and would end up placing the being on the platform. He’d then raise it up from the ground and cause it to stumble back. With the force, it inflicted normal damage. Already he felt the power of the mana leeching going through his veins, a relaxed sigh coming from his lips as he would feel the relief of his element. It was all too perfect. With that, he would then smile as he inflicted a heavy amount of damage onto the being… Though it did not seem too phased… How!? That was such a strong attack! He even took a lot of the mana from it, because it was an H rank spell! So with that, how was it not toppled down and fell to the ground!? This was a stubborn being, but not one that he was willing to bow down to yet. They were not able to inflict damage onto him, not while it was just trying to move forward. The Celestials would try to get their Celestial Fire in by being close, inflicting a little bit more damage. With that, they all inflicted a good amount of damage onto the being. It was too easy. They were able to nail the being quickly… If they are even able to phase it though, that would have been a nice hint to show if they were doing a good job or not. The armies should be here by now!? Where even were they? It has been a good half of an hour, and with transport these days, especially from the royal castle, at least their army should be here by now. But they were not, which only made things a bit more difficult since he and the Celestials were alone. If they were not there, the beings would be in the city right now, ripping the city and it’s people open inside out. It was a sad reality, but at least the better ending than what could have actually happened. He himself was proud of this accomplishment, and would not take anything away from himself for obtaining it. With a smile still on his face, he was ready for the beast to come back over towards him and the celestials to try to take another shot. Virgo would extend her chains, ready to use them once again. Hopefully she did not think of whipping it, since that probably would not work. Aludra was still charging, and can’t do too much damage while her attack was waiting for charge. With that, the waiting game was now beginning. It was a slow being, not even able to keep up with the current time. Then again, it was it’s own fault for being so large, thus not too good with movement or time. With that, a small window of an advantage had just been explained right there… It was time to exploit it! He had an idea! Placing out his palms, he would then begin to form a craft from Frostfire. Neither Virgo nor Aludra could get what he was doing… Yet… But they will figure it out soon once he had it done. Then they would wish that they thought of such an idea. However, it required time, which was a little ironic. They hopefully could stall for long enough, or maybe just Virgo since Aludra would not be doing anything. It was not moving too fast at all, which was a good thing. With that, he would end up placing his palms out to launch a bit of wind to knock it away from him a little bit, but not too much. With that, it was all over, the being was too late. He crafted the wall. He now could have the ramp if Virgo was ready for it. Looking over to the maid, she would just nod her head as she would then begin to lift the earth, making it much more elevated, looking like a wall to them, but a huge bump to the giant. Hopefully… It would take the bait. Or nope…

Post by King Elyx 27th October 2016, 6:36 pm

The beast was coming for them all again, and the ramp… The ramp would end up getting slammed back onto the ground. The wall was there, but it was not tall enough o make it trip, which ended up screwing up Elyx and Virgo’s plan that could have put an end to all of it. They were going to have to try much harder than that, but what could they do? If the man was able to do something for him… Wait a second… There was one thing he could try. It was a controlling spell, and it would make a hell of a lot of damage onto an opponent if he was able to get it done. It would release the being in him, the one that owned the magic in him before. He would still be able to carry out attacks… But there was no way that he would be denied of getting to it if he was able to use the strings. They were restricting and would do a lot of debuff damage, but that was the point of it. This was going to hurt him a little bit… But he was going to have to awaken the contract with the sky deity. First, he would place a bit of his magic to his core, embracing it a little bit. The being in front of him would begin an outline. “I knew you were willing to allow me to come out to play~” The being would tell him, but he was not phased. It took the form of a giant archer in front of him with a female body. It was a dark being, and none of the details were shown. It was a giant purple being in front of him, one that let out such an evil aura. Perhaps he needed to get out the contract, but it was too late. If he were to fight it, things can only go wrong since it was 3 beings against 2 giants. And with the amount of magic he had left, he was not sure that he was able to do it. Virgo and Alurda were both still up and active for battle, but that did not mean that they were guananteed for the whole time while the sky deity and the titan most certainly were until defeated. It was a 50-50 shot, this could determine if the plan ended up working. All the hope was in the result and personality of the spell. With that, the beings details would show, two giant yellow eyes looking down onto the sky deity slayer, that stood tall with a neutral facial expression, showing no sign of weakness, despite having lower amounts of mana. With that, it would end up grinning before shrinking in size, but gaining color other than purple and yellow. A bit shorter than him, her figure was exactly that of a female. She had black hair, black eyes, white pale skin, and… That was about it. She seemed to have some modern clothing rather than his own traditional clothing style, which was interesting since she was the sky deity. But that was not something he really minded, since it was better than the giant archer that he had seen. “Tell me sky slayer, why are you always so stubborn? I could not get control of you once, and now you want to call on me for my help?” she would ask that with a taunting smirk on her face. It was not something to offend him, but if anything, she pretended to be offended. Elyx would just reply with what he needed, ignoring what she had said to him. “I need to get the titan under control. I’m not going to let you have that for free you know, so handle some of that problem for me.” The Reiaki would tell her, only for her smirk to become a smile. Her eyes were half closed, giving off a calm and collected persona as she would look over to the giant that was stepping. A chuckle would emit from her lips, but then she would nod her head. “You aren’t weak, and for that, I will gladly serve my vessel. Be a good boy now.” She would give him a gentle pat on the head, standing on the tip of her toes to do so before having a pillar of wind to launch her up into the air. The titan was almost there in front of him. Seems like she looked down on him, but that did not matter. He was the one that held her in his body, meaning that he was the one in control and can hold the cards, so she did not really need to say anything about that. If that were done, he’d easily counter. But in this state, he was a little bit at her mercy, and so he would keep his smart mouth shut instead of saying something stupid. After all, she can call of the spell. Admittedly, he expected her to be a little more divine that than. Or devilish considering the slayer and deity contracts. But she just seemed like a little bit of a brat with a lot of darkness around her. She was around his age possibly, maybe even less because of her size. Other than that, it was pretty clear that they were on the same level, and they even related by using the same type of magic. With that, he would end up moving bac from the feet of the titan as it nearly stepped once again. Provided this be done, he would end up getting away for a bit of time. But it was getting closer to the town. This was not looking too good. The sky deity better do her thing, or Elyx would end up on the receiving end of some damning damage. With that, he would hear her voice from above again. “By the way, I don’t think we have met each other properly. My name is Shima, and I’m the deity of the sky. What is your name?” She would tell him before asking for the name he went by. He would look up to where he thought he heard the voice before answering plain and simple. “My name is Elyx. I am the Sky Deity Slayer. I don’t need to kill you, do I now?” He’d ask in return. She would chuckle a little bit before then launching sudden strings of light down from above as if they were fired from the crowds. They attached to the titan, two of them to the elbow joints, two of them to the kneecaps, and one of them to the top of it’s head. That was when he would get her response. “Nah, I doubt it. You’re such a strong vessel, and you let me do what I want sometimes. I think I’ll make myself cozy in you for a while. Don’t die on me now~.” She would tell him before the strings would suddenly lift up. Somehow, the extremely heavy being was being lifted up from the ground. With that, he would end up looking up to see it flailing as much as it could while trapped in the unfortunate position that it was in. However, it could not fight the power hold that was on it. The joints would only move at her command. Perhaps it was not a bad move to learn about the sky deity. Shima, was it? She was interesting, and said she would not hurt him if he were to continue doing this sort of thing. Considering how useful her spells are… That was actually a great thing he could use. So maybe he should keep the contract going, he can see the both of them going really far in battle together. However, this was not going to be used often. There were only a few cases where he could imagine it being used. It was designed to completely shut down the movement of a being and have them controlled like a puppet. With that, it would then be dropped to the ground facefirst before he would then run up to it, striking down onto it with a frostfire hammer, which had a mighty amount of force placed behind it. It was a perfect hit to the back of the head, it was definitely going to feel that. Virgo would launch a chunk of earth down onto that head, and Aludra would give it a nice slam of her staff. It was downed. It did try to get up from the grounded state that the strings had it in, but it was unable to resist against however much strength those strings had. Elyx was impressed, they were not too bad to use, and they costed less than his H rank spell, which was a huge plus for him since he did not need more things that allowed him to spend any more mana than what he was spending right now. That would only drain him quicker, because his recovery for mana can only go so far. The armies were finally on the seen a few seconds later, on walking in on the scene of the strings holding the being and the keys holding down the titan. It was a dominant scene for Elyx, the armies would see the many bodies of the zombies, the weird fat beings, and the wolves that tried to attack the three of them. They were unsuccessful, and they would notice the beings still fighting on and winning against the titan. They were all by the sides now, just cheering. The council members would watch with approval to see that they were not needed, and that a whole army had been wiped out by simple the guild master and two of his keys. It was a beautiful sight to see, and something good of a resume to be back to the king as well. This was where the final blow would be delivered. The Sky Slayer and the Sky Deity worked together, who knew such a thing would happen. And they could keep working together instead of going against each other. She was a weird being, but if she did not harm him, then everything was all good between them. With that being said, he did want to know a little bit more about her. She obviously did not just pop out from thin air. There has to be some sort of history with her existence.

Titan Slayer Empty Re: Titan Slayer

Post by King Elyx 28th October 2016, 1:04 pm

With that, the both of them would attack Virgo and Aludra as they would continue to unleash their attacks on the titan, holding it down as it tried to get up. However, it seemed to get rather angry after the fact, causing it to resist against their attacks at the end of all of it. Provided they keep the advantage, they would need to have the strings to hold it. The being, Shima, would lift it up a little bit before dropping it onto the ground. It was a good part of the control she had, and it damaged the opponent and prevented the movement from occurring. The task was almost done, it was heavily damaged. They needed to get out from the scene before it would resist using its magic. It did not seem to notice that it was the way to escape, but it could gain the intellect soon enough… And when it did, that was going to result in a bad time for all of them. He would rather not risk that. It was until then that it would gain a bit of control over the strings. “Elyx! He’s gaining control over them! He’s focusing his magic on them! I can’t hold up without a bit of help!” Shima would exclaim from above. She did not seem to have a problem with admitting things when they were going wrong. He had a feeling that he would be enjoying her company, since a Lerale loved to be around those who humbled themselves since they themselves were that way. He would smile as he would try to get Virgo to use her chains to restrict it’s movement. “Virgo, wrap around the ankles! Hold it as tight as you can!” The Reiaki would order, placing his palm out towards it before firing a gush of wind to prevent it from moving, making it stumble a bit in the process. That gush took a lot of magic power from him as it did, and it would end uip burning the core of his heart a little bit as he was running out of mana to work with. Virgo would do as she had been asked, attempting to run around the being. It would stomp onto the ground to launch pieces of earth into the air. The maiden attempted to narrowly avoid them, running through the barrier that had been set up as she would move from side to side in the shape of a zigzag. It was a move full of agility, and the Reiaki was surprised to see it in action. There was something different about how she moved, not even so much as a care was given as to what those rocks are able to do to her body. However, she seemed to move through it without taking too much damage. This was solely due to her earth manipulation ability. While she was not able to send all of them away with it since there was too much earth at once. She would end up making it past the rocks and sending some stray ones around her body rather than having it strike directly at her. It was an unsuccessful attempt to damage her, which put a lot of relief in the Sky Slayer, since he did not enjoy seeing them take damage. With that, Virgo was closing in, but the titan actually was ready. It resisted the strings well enough to move its legs at free will. “Watch out!” Shima would exclaim from above, snarling as she tried her best to yank on the cords connected to it’s knees, specifically the right one. But to no avail. None of the others could see what went wrong until it was too late. It was able to see her coming, punting a bare foot at her and launching her up into the air with a mighty amount of force. With that, he’d then snarl as she was right up. The damage had been so severe as she went airborne. Elyx clenched his teeth as he tried to steal the speed of the beast to move up to save the maiden. He’s leap as hard as he could to reach out his right arm to where Virgo was. It was a devastating result in the end though. Not due to him being late though… But the celestial rejected the attempt of her body being saved… Once his palm got to her, he grip hers and try to throw her out of range. Instead, the maiden slung her body towards the side to go along with the momentum, but used her force to launch him out of the way, keeping her in position. By this time, the Guild Master would be sent flying out of the range, but the maiden would stay in place as she crossed her arms in front of the incoming fast, as if it could actually block such an attack. Unfortunately, that miracle was not something that happened. As she did block it, and would end up zipping towards the ground with a mighty explosion caused in the process, followed up by a shattering of light that could be seen if one looked closely enough. She had been defeated and sent back to her world. She did not die… But a little bit of Elyx did… The titan was able to knock Virgo off the scene within two hits. Those two hits were the two strikes that now brought Elyx to the cold rage he was in… He witnessed it in front of his eyes… Now a violent violet shade. The Lerales always worked as a team to have an orchestra or a band. This was a moment where one of them had been lost, and they fight for every member. An orchestra or a band were both like families to each other, making sure to protect each other… So when something like that happened, they all went in a panic. They were none too satisfied with the result that had been placed. Elyx himself, as much as he denied their nature, was no different. The urge to get back at it for killing Virgo, even if she were not truly dead, still bothered him to no end. He stood on a branch of a tree as Aludra would cast out her now ready spell, launching a giant meteor to show her wrath to the being as it stood mightily over them, trying to get to the other Celestial mage as it seemed to be the only other target in sight. That was a huge mistake. This next blow was going to be a forceful one… He would place his palm out towards the meteor, making sure to have it targeted. With that, he would flick his tails once, his eyes now half closed as he would jump off the branch. The branch broke under his force and ended up causing a small wave of earth to occur below. He would then appear standing on the meteor as it would end up in contact with him. The target was the head, which was a bang on target for sure. To make sure that this attack had a lot of force, he would implement a spike of Frostfire in front of it. Next, he would insert his eyes onto the scene, turning them white as he aimed to get even the slightest bit of eye contact with it. The titan looked up to see what was coming from above, and that mistake was costly as it would end up having it’s body locked in place due to Quatros eyes. This ability was so rare, and only the worst of the worst actually get to see it. He would prefer not to use it, but the sky deity slayer had been angered. The next attack was from his own magic, which was running out, but he wanted to make sure this was the blow that delivered the final hit. Turning his back up so that he would be facing the opposite direction, he would end up inhaling a lot of air in his lungs. Holding them in, he would let the air compress inside of his body, allowing it to gain energy and use the kinetic force to really cause a nasty ripple effect once launched through the3 air. The results were going to be nasty. With that, he would exhale all of it from behind, which cauised the speed of the rock to move insanely as it had been boosted by an S ranked spell. With that, it could not move… And a direct blow to the forehead had been struck… followed by an explosion that was so brightly lit, it was launched passed the skies… It was all over…

With that, Elyx had made it, back on the ground with a battered body. The titan behind him being dragged by the collar, showing it had been killed. The armies both looked in awe before they would begin to cheer for him and how he was able to carry out such a show. The strings were no longer there… Shima was back in her home inside of his body. Perfect. With that, he could barely walk as it is. They needed to rush him to a doctor so that his body could begin to properly heal itself once again. All fo those impacts hurt him as well, and even recovering that much health was something that was heavily in question. Placing his palms in his pockets, he would end up smiling as he raised a hand in victory over the titan. The job had been done. And yet, it was a lot harder than any of the 100 year jobs that he had taken. He had been pushed to an extreme that he thought he would not enter for a long time, and not by something that could be easily classified as a monster. But yet it had been done. Was he ashamed? Perhaps a little, but not as much as he expected himself to be. It was all for Virgo at the end, that left the stage with a lack of grace. It was to avenge her, and he was probably going to have to talk to her about it as well. It was a successful job though, and it was all over as well. Another few hundred thousand jewels, plus it should be amplified by the kind since his favor was with the Reiaki. It was all good.
