    Primary Magic: Thunder God Slayer Magic

    Description: This is a type of magic that was created long ago for the purpose of defeating gods. Since then it has been lost to time, with very few, including the gods themselves, knowing how to use it. The magic is known to corrupt the element that it uses to be of a darker aura, but the magic is not inherently evil. Thunder God Slayer magic revolves around creating and manipulating corrupted lightning. The lightning is hard to control and keep in check, but is also quick and very dangerous.

    Chloe always uses the magic as more of a defensive tool than an offensive one. She prefers to bide her time and wait for the optimal moments to strike rather than trying to end a fight quickly. She doesn't like to fight, but when she has to, she does her best to keep her situation and magic under control. She is afraid of the prospect of her magic going out of her control and hurting her allies, so she will try to keep her distance from them if she feels unstable.

    Strengths:
    - The user is very fast while she is using the magic
    - Lost MP can be gained by eating a source of her element, even that created by Dragon Slayers
    - Lightning travels very fast and has a good range
    Weaknesses:
    - It is hard for her to control, meaning she can easily miss or burn up her magic power
    - She cannot eat her own lightning or demon slayer lightning
    - Her magic is very imprecise and loud, making it impractical for stealth
    - While it gives her ways to dodge and parry attacks, the user as little durability.
    Lineage:
    Ariel's Descent:
    Description: There was once a mage who fell in love with a mermaid, and was loved by that same mermaid in return. Her name was Ariel. Because of their love, the mermaid taught him her ways. Eventually, his knowledge of the species and techniques became so great that it allowed him to redirect water attacks and also gave him the ability to breath under water. Eventually, Ariel's love for the sea grew so great that she decided to turn into a true mermaid, leaving her husband and daughters behind. The father taught his knowledge to his daughters, who then had children of their own, and continued passing the knowledge to their children; it became a tradition that was passed down through the ages.
    Ability: Gives the ability Aqualung. An ability to redirect water attacks up to the user's rank, and to breath under water; finally, it gives the user a passive 25% resistance against water spells regardless of spell rank.
    They gain a single user-ranked water spell (S Max) or a user-ranked minus one signature water spell (A Max) in addition to their spells.
    Usage: Can be used when battling water mages to redirect spells for the MP cost the spell would cost the user for their rank plus half(S Max) with a 4 post cooldown after use.  Water breathing and resistance is passive. Spell is dependent on spell creation, cooldown/duration up to the spell.
    Unique Abilities:
    Ride the Lightning - As a Thunder God Slayer, Chloe is able to travel very fast by turning herself into an electric current. This ability cannot be used in combat, and allows her to travel along any object with just a little bit of conductivity.

    Lightning Jolt - A very basic ability that Chloe can use is making a tiny bolt of lightning with her finger. The Jolt does no damage and doesn't travel very far, but can be used as a source of light and can lightly shock an opponent.

    Starlight - Thanks to a combination of Chloe's magic and her heritage as a star brought to life by Zeus, Chloe can radiate some light from her body to see with. She can use this ability to see what is directly in front of her in the dark, but not much farther. She is also hot to the touch while she uses this ability. This ability is unable to be used in combat, and it gives her the range of vision of about a flashlight. She can light up an area of about 3 meters around her in a circle.

    Weather Lady - Thanks to her ability to feel the thunder in the clouds, Chloe can accurately predict the weather a lot of the time. At least she can predict when it will rain or be cloudy, not much beyond that.

    Type: Lightning
    Duration: None

    Description: The user channels all her energy into her mouth and unleashes a torrent of Black Lightning. The lightning travels about 30 meters and takes a few seconds to go that distance. The spell travels at 10 meters per second. The Bellow acts similarly to the roar of a dragon slayer and has a similar pattern when it is fired.
    Strengths:
    - Gives Chloe more ranged options that she severely lacks
    - Has no cool down
    Weaknesses:
    - The blast is useless underwater
    - The blast does not last very long and she is open to attack when it is finished.
    - The attack can be volatile when Chloe's emotions aren't kept in check, causing the blast to explode in her or an ally's face.

    Description: Chloe creates a sword made out of lightning that she can use to attack an enemy for a maximum of one post. The sword is made out of a hardened lightning bolt and can be used in addition to any other weapon that she has. The sword is about 1 meter long and can attack from that range

    - The sword is versatile and can be used in creative ways
    - The sword is long for a melee weapon
    Weaknesses:
    - The sword is heavy and can slow down Chloe's attacks
    - The weapon is useless against metal or hard objects
    - The sword does below average damage

    Description: The user charges up her fist with a surge of black lightning that surrounds the fist. While it is charged, for the duration of the post, allowing the user to attack with a charged fist. Its hard for her to attack two opponents in one post with the same fist, so it is unlikely she will be able to use it twice per rotation.
    Strengths:
    - The attack is very fast in her punching speed
    - The currents from the punch can travel through a conductor if she punches one
    Weaknesses:
    - The spell could shock Chloe or an ally if she isn't focused enough and loses control
    - The spell only lasts a short time before going on cooldown
    - The spell's range is only as far as Chloe can punch, so it is easy to outrange her.

    Name: Lightning Parry

    Type: Defensive Lightning
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 2 posts
    Description: The user channels their black lightning into their arm to try and shrug off an enemy's next attack. The user needs to be very fast and precise with the parry, but if successful the user would completely block the attack and get a small movement speed boost of about 25% for the length of the post to counter attack with. The spell happens very fast and has a small window for Chloe to actually use it before the effect would wear off.
    Strengths:
    - Can completely shrug off an attack of the same rank as the spell
    - The user gains a burst of movement if the attack is sucessful
    Weaknesses:
    - Requires very precise reaction time for success
    - The spell is easy for the enemy to counter by hesitating on their attack
    - The lightning can't block or parry attacks of a higher rank than Chloe

    Name: Lightning Speed
    Rank: D
    Type: Supportive Lightning
    Duration: 1 post
    Cooldown: 2 posts
    Description: The users channels their lightning into the legs of herself or an ally that is nearby, allowing that character to gain a movement speed buff of 50%. The character that is affected by the spell only feels their legs go faster as opposed to the rest of their body, and if an allied is damaged while the buff is active, Chloe will also receive the same amount of damage. If Chloe loses her focus at any point during the buff, her ally would experience a shock as her lightning goes unstable and damages them.
    Strengths:
    - The spell allows Chloe to reach her enemies much faster, or evade when needed
    - It allows Chloe to play a more supportive role to the team if she is damaged or unwilling to fight
    Weaknesses:
    - The spell could shock Chloe or an ally if she isn't focused enough and loses control
    - The spell only affects a users legs and lets them go faster, not the whole body or their attacking speed
    - Chloe needs to be very close to an ally while they are using it, within at least 4 meters, or Chloe will lose her focus.

    Description: The user channels black lightning into each of their arms and then uses that to fire projectile blades made out of lightning. The blades are very bad at keeping their shape and will most of the time devolve into generic blasts of lightning if they travel far enough, losing their edge and a good chunk of their damage. The blades are about the size of Chloe's arms when they are hard and sharp, but generally spread to be the size of an average human if they travel far enough. The spell acts like shotgun in the damage fall off at range. The spell has about a range of 4 meters when the blades stay perfectly solid, but they can go up to 10 meters, even though the damage would be significantly decreased at that range. The spell is fast enough that both blades can be fired in a single post. Each blade does the same amount of damage and can be avoided individually. The blades fire at a speed of about 5 meters per second, meaning that the spell would take two seconds to reach its maximum range. After the 4 meter mark when the damage starts to fall off it first drops to 75% until it reaches the 6 meter mark, then drops to 50% when it reaches the 8 meter mark, and finishes off at 25% of the original damage at maximum range.
    Strengths:
    - The spell is released very fast
    - At close range, the spell acts like a blade and can cut an opponent as well as shock them
    Weaknesses:
    - The spell is Chloe's most volatile at D-Rank and end up exploding in her face or flying in the complete wrong direction.
    - The spell has a large spread that makes it hard to aim in addition to the already volatile nature of it
    - The spell becomes practically useless when it reaches its maximum range of 10 meters.

    C-Rank Spells:
    Name: Bolt Dash
    Rank: C
    Type: Supportive Lightning
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 3 posts
    Description: The user briefly transforms their own body into a black bolt of lightning, with the purpose of travelling a distance very fast. The bolt can move at 7 meters per second and the spell only lasts about 5 seconds. This translates to her being able to travel about 35 meters in one cast. The spell is very hard for Chloe to control due to the high speed, and she can end up shooting off the in the exact opposite direction.
    Strengths:
    - Works as an excellent gap closer to help Chloe's closer range attacks
    - Allows Chloe to have a quick getaway in a pinch
    Weaknesses:
    - The spell is very hard to control due to the speed
    - If Chloe runs into an object she will get taken out of lightning bolt form and be stunned
    - The bolt can shock allies if Chloe overshoots someone she is trying to save.

    Name: Thunder God's Cloud
    Rank: C
    Type: Lightning
    Duration: 2 posts (1 post charging, 1 post damage)
    Cooldown: 3 posts
    Description: Chloe channels her magic above her and calls for a bolt of lightning to come down from the sky on the target that she has acquired. She has to charge up a cloud to appear above the target, at any elevation she chooses. The lightning bolt will travel down almost instantly once the cloud is charged up, and with go wherever Chloe targets it to go. Despite this, the cloud has to remain above an enemies head for about 1 post before the bolt can come down.
    Strengths:
    - Hard for enemies to know she is casting the spell without looking above them
    - The spell has an almost instant cast time in the rain, since she can use an already existing cloud
    Weaknesses:
    - While not useless indoors, it is much harder for her to get the condensation necessary to make a thunder cloud, it taking a whole extra post to charge up first.
    - The spell already has a slow cast time, so any enemy who knows what she is doing can avoid it.
    - The cloud above an enemies head with make thunder before the lightning strikes for obvious reasons, giving an enemy a chance to hear and dodge. The thunder sounds during the first post, so if they can hear it, they can get tipped off.

    Name: Thunder God's Whip

    Type: Offensive Lightning
    Duration: 1 post
    Cooldown: 2 posts
    Description: The user channels black lightning into their hands to create a whip construct that is about one meter in length. The whip can be used to latch onto a target to pull them into another attack from Chloe or her weapon. The whip has a range of about 3 meters.
    Strengths:
    - The whip is useful to pin down and enemy and limit their options
    - The whip sets up for Chloe's other attacks
    Weaknesses:
    - The whip can be broken off by an attack higher than C-Rank
    - The whip will only last for one post before it disappears and frees the target
    - The whip can only be used on enemies

This is likely more of a noncombat ability, but for better clarification, how much farther out from herself does the light allow her to see? Does it light up the entire room or does it work more like a flashlight where she can only see a few feet out in front of her?

Its hard for her to attack two opponents in one post with the same fist, so it is unlikely she will be able to use it twice per rotation.
    Strengths:
    - The attack is very fast in her punching speed
    - The currents from the punch can travel through a conductor if she punches one
    Weaknesses:
    - The spell could shock Chloe or an ally if she isn't focused enough and loses control

If the blades go longer than 4 meters and reach the 10 meter mark, how much is the damage reduced by?

    Lightning Jolt - A very basic ability that Chloe can use is making a tiny bolt of lightning with her finger. The Jolt does no damage and doesn't travel very far, but can be used as a source of light and can lightly shock an opponent.

    Starlight - Thanks to a combination of Chloe's magic and her heritage as a star brought to life by Zeus, Chloe can radiate some light from her body to see with. She can use this ability to see what is directly in front of her in the dark, but not much farther. She is also hot to the touch while she uses this ability. This ability is unable to be used in combat, and it gives her the range of vision of about a flashlight. She can light up an area of about 3 meters around her in a circle.

    Weather Lady - Thanks to her ability to feel the thunder in the clouds, Chloe can accurately predict the weather a lot of the time. At least she can predict when it will rain or be cloudy, not much beyond that.

    Description: The user channels all her energy into her mouth and unleashes a torrent of Black Lightning. The lightning travels about 10 meters and takes a few seconds to go that distance. The Bellow acts similarly to the roar of a dragon slayer and has a similar pattern when it is fired. What is the speed of the bellow? I also suggest amping this up to 30m.
    Strengths:
    - Gives Chloe more ranged options that she severely lacks
    - Has no cool down
    Weaknesses:
    - The blast is useless underwater
    - The blast does not last very long and she is open to attack when it is finished.
    - The attack can be volatile when Chloe's emotions aren't kept in check, causing the blast to explode in her or an ally's face.

    - The sword is long for a melee weapon
    Weaknesses:
    - The sword is heavy and can slow down Chloe's attacks
    - The weapon is useless against metal or hard objects
    - The sword does below average damage

    Description: The user charges up her fist with a surge of black lightning that surrounds the fist. While it is charged, for the duration of the post, allowing the user to attack with a charged fist. Its hard for her to attack two opponents in one post with the same fist, so it is unlikely she will be able to use it twice per rotation.
    Strengths:
    - The attack is very fast in her punching speed
    - The currents from the punch can travel through a conductor if she punches one
    Weaknesses:
    - The spell could shock Chloe or an ally if she isn't focused enough and loses control
    - The spell only lasts a short time before going on cooldown
    - The spell's range is only as far as Chloe can punch, so it is easy to outrange her.

    Type: Defensive Lightning

    Description: The user channels their black lightning into their arm to try and shrug off an enemy's next attack. The user needs to be very fast and precise with the parry, but if successful the user would completely block the attack and get a small movement speed boost of about 25% for the length of the post to counter attack with. The spell happens very fast and has a small window for Chloe to actually use it before the effect would wear off.
    Strengths:
    - Can completely shrug off an attack of the same rank as the spell
    - The user gains a burst of movement if the attack is sucessful
    Weaknesses:
    - Requires very precise reaction time for success
    - The spell is easy for the enemy to counter by hesitating on their attack
    - The lightning can't block or parry attacks of a higher rank than Chloe

    Name: Lightning Speed

    Type: Supportive Lightning

    Description: The users channels their lightning into the legs of herself or an ally that is nearby, allowing that character to gain a movement speed buff of 50%. The character that is affected by the spell only feels their legs go faster as opposed to the rest of their body, and if an allied is damaged while the buff is active, Chloe will also receive the same amount of damage. If Chloe loses her focus at any point during the buff, her ally would experience a shock as her lightning goes unstable and damages them.
    Strengths:
    - The spell allows Chloe to reach her enemies much faster, or evade when needed
    - It allows Chloe to play a more supportive role to the team if she is damaged or unwilling to fight
    Weaknesses:
    - The spell could shock Chloe or an ally if she isn't focused enough and loses control
    - The spell only affects a users legs and lets them go faster, not the whole body or their attacking speed
    - Chloe needs to be very close to an ally while they are using it, within at least 4 meters, or Chloe will lose her focus.

    Description: The user channels black lightning into each of their arms and then uses that to fire projectile blades made out of lightning. The blades are very bad at keeping their shape and will most of the time devolve into generic blasts of lightning if they travel far enough, losing their edge and a good chunk of their damage. The blades are about the size of Chloe's arms when they are hard and sharp, but generally spread to be the size of an average human if they travel far enough. The spell acts like shotgun in the damage fall off at range. The spell has about a range of 4 meters when the blades stay perfectly solid, but they can go up to 10 meters, even though the damage would be significantly decreased at that range. The spell is fast enough that both blades can be fired in a single post. Each blade does the same amount of damage and can be avoided individually. The blades fire at a speed of about 5 meters per second, meaning that the spell would take two seconds to reach its maximum range. After the 4 meter mark when the damage starts to fall off it first drops to 75% until it reaches the 6 meter mark, then drops to 50% when it reaches the 8 meter mark, and finishes off at 25% of the original damage at maximum range.
    Strengths:
    - The spell is released very fast
    - At close range, the spell acts like a blade and can cut an opponent as well as shock them
    Weaknesses:
    - The spell is Chloe's most volatile at D-Rank and end up exploding in her face or flying in the complete wrong direction.
    - The spell has a large spread that makes it hard to aim in addition to the already volatile nature of it
    - The spell becomes practically useless when it reaches its maximum range of 10 meters.

    Description: The user briefly transforms their own body into a black bolt of lightning, with the purpose of travelling a distance very fast. The bolt can move at 7 meters per second and the spell only lasts about 5 seconds. The spell is very hard for Chloe to control due to the high speed, and she can end up shooting off the in the exact opposite direction. What is the range of this spell?
    Strengths:
    - Works as an excellent gap closer to help Chloe's closer range attacks
    - Allows Chloe to have a quick getaway in a pinch
    Weaknesses:
    - The spell is very hard to control due to the speed
    - If Chloe runs into an object she will get taken out of lightning bolt form and be stunned
    - The bolt can shock allies if Chloe overshoots someone she is trying to save.

    Name: Thunder God's Cloud
    Rank: C
    Type: Lightning
    Duration: 2 posts (1 post charging, 1 post damage)
    Cooldown: 2 posts Cooldown must be 1 post longer than duration.
    Description: Chloe channels her magic above her and calls for a bolt of lightning to come down from the sky on the target that she has acquired. She has to charge up a cloud to appear above the target, at any elevation she chooses. The lightning bolt will travel down almost instantly once the cloud is charged up, and with go wherever Chloe targets it to go. Despite this, the cloud has to remain above an enemies head for about 1 post before the bolt can come down.
    Strengths:
    - Hard for enemies to know she is casting the spell without looking above them
    - The spell has an almost instant cast time in the rain, since she can use an already existing cloud
    Weaknesses:
    - While not useless indoors, it is much harder for her to get the condensation necessary to make a thunder cloud, it taking a whole extra post to charge up first.
    - The spell already has a slow cast time, so any enemy who knows what she is doing can avoid it.
    - The cloud above an enemies head with make thunder before the lightning strikes for obvious reasons, giving an enemy a chance to hear and dodge. The thunder sounds during the first post, so if they can hear it, they can get tipped off.

    Name: Thunder God's Whip

    Description: The user channels black lightning into their hands to create a whip construct that is about one meter in length. The whip can be used to latch onto a target to pull them into another attack from Chloe or her weapon. Range of the whip?

    - The whip is useful to pin down and enemy and limit their options
    - The whip sets up for Chloe's other attacks
    Weaknesses:
    - The whip can be broken off by an attack higher than C-Rank
    - The whip will only last for one post before it disappears and frees the target
    - The whip can only be used on enemies
