Job: The Sunny Tower of No Return
    Rank: B
Player Requirements: B-Ranked Wizard(s) or above, or 2 C-Ranked Wizards 250 word per post requirement. Thread must be at least 30 posts long.

Job Requirements: Bring home your clients daughter. Must defeat either the Sun Mages, or the Archmage of the Sun. May cause other enemies too flee until one of the two becomes available. Scale the Mystic Tower's 50 floors.

    Job Location: Mystic Tower

Job Description: The Mystic Tower stands untouched and unappropriated, at large. Any who venture there never seem too return. Although mysteriously, letters still get sent home too loved ones as if they've found some new meaning in life. Your client's daughter has left for the Mystic Tower after being curious, and fell victim too this very situation. Her parents are incredibly worried about her, and have received disturbing letters in which it seems as if she's praising the sun. They want you too go there, and bring her home. Realizing the risks, they'll pay heftily for her safe return too Magnolia.

(Note: Character Names, and Boss and Enemy Names Are Up Too You)

    Enemies:
Weak: Initiates of the Sun x10 (These new comers too the Order of the Sun haven't truly mastered their magic yet. A lot of them are very young and may be easily intimidated. Some are extremely bold and brazen though, and will not be dissuaded easily. They can make their fists and feet glow with sunlight too strike at their opponents, but that's about it. It takes two hits too down each initiate. They may flee if you display a level of magic that's way beyond them, likely deciding too leave the Order of the Sun all together if convinced.)

Normal: Apprentice of the Sun x5 (These young wizards are students of the Sun-Make school of the tower, and show great potential and skill already. They can augment their physical attacks, and fight with potent martial skill. They will augment their hands, arms, legs, and body with Sun-Make magic too strike you. They will also fire bolts of sunlight, that quickly emerge from their hands and smash through objects, these deal C-Ranked damage, as they are not skilled enough for the homing streams of sunlight yet. It takes four direct hits too bring each down. They may flee if you display magic above A-Rank.)

Strong: The Sun Mages x2 (These two wizards are draped in desert like attire, of gold and silver wrappings. Their Sun-Make magic is incredible. It allows them too fly at high speeds, and strike with hand-to-hand combat with amazing levels of martial arts skill. They are highly skilled fighters and attack with 4 "Damage Die" each time they attack. The sunlight that surrounds their body results in unpleasant burns if struck. They can also fire streams of sunlight that fan into the air and then home in on you. If hit, they deal B-Ranked damage. They are incredible gymnasts and will show as much when dodging, even while flying. Though they will not fly at all times. It takes 10 hits too bring each of these two down. Their attacks pierce through all darkness oriented abilities with ease.)

Boss: Archmage of the Sun (This guy is draped in insane robes, with a golden crown on top of his head, glittering constantly. He levitates around, swooping through the area and releasing incredibly powerful blasts of white hot sunlight from his hands and body. He is excellent at countering magical effects, and if he rolls a block then NO effect of your magic will get through. He is somewhat vulnerable too physical attacks, if you can get him out of the air and down too your level...and then make it past his insane Sun Magic. His palm blasts of sunlight travel at high speeds, and will home in on you. You must dodge them at the last second too evade, any failed block results in B-Ranked damage, and a very uncomfortable and painful burn on the spot. His Sun-Make magic pierces through all darkness oriented abilities without hesitation. His ultimate attack, which he will use every 5 posts results in him gathering copious amounts of sunlight into himself as he begins too shine brightly. He unleashes streams of sunlight that soar through the area and slam through nearly anything in their path. These deal A-Ranked damage and will disorient you for a few posts after being struck unless you have some form of healing magic. Any form of Healing will help you remain oriented. He takes 15 hits too topple.)

    Reward: 15,000 Jewels

    THERE IS A THIN LINE
between what is good and what is evil
I will tiptoe down that line but I will feel unstable

Rose Garden was a place that had a large variance in its visitors; yes, there were those who came to simply view the roses, and what other foliage that may be housed within the place, and then there were those who came to eat. If the meaning of this was to simply discuss those who came for more tame means, then the conversation would end here. Alas, our story is never one that is so straight forward; there was always some sort of twist; well, a plot twist was always entertaining, especially since it may not have been expected! Today we find out protagonist, the antagonist to most, leisurely walking through Rose Garden; yes, he held no care in the world! He had put on a rather useful disguise, one that he did believe suited him well; yes, it was the same one which he had used to infiltrate the Infinity Hydra's pub ages ago. Well, that was the past; no one cared for the past, at least not one that was so recent; if it were a tale from decades ago, or even years, it would be acceptable; not enough time had passed; the story has not matured in value as of yet. This story, however, would provide a very nice basis for the way in which he wore his disguise.

The soul covered Vlad; it contorted his appearance into that of some man he had killed weeks ago; he was no one of importance, however, he did appreciate the mans form; he was a well dressed man, and the aura he put off was one that matched to the point that it was questionable as to which soul actually belonged to him! It was with this confidence, with this cocky saunter, that he would roam through the rose garden; he had no real plans today, especially seeing as he had not heard of any jobs that seemed interesting enough to hold his attention. It was days like this that allowed him to simply enjoy himself; enjoy what he was, who he was; yes, these days were the days he was able to indulge in the desires of his body. Carnal desires, psychotic desires; however a person chose to describe them did not bother Vlad, he merely accepted the terms they used; terms were merely words used to obtain one effect or another from the audience anyway. The effect they wished to garner did not effect Vlad in anyway; he knew what he was, and he was quite proud of it! He knew that he had done so much, and a decent portion of it was attributed to the person he was. This made him very proud of the man he was, of the person he had become. It was this pride which allowed him to hunt with no care for others; there was no way he was going to be caught anyway!

It was with this pride, this cockiness, that he was strolling through the garden; yes, he was looking for his next meal. He was a man who was able to entice any person he felt with a mere smile; yes, being an incubus had many advantages; this, however, was not something he abused. He felt the need to ensure that he kept his abilities on par with those who were less fortunate than himself. It would take hime quite some time, but he would find his prey; it was a pair of females. It seemed that he was going to have a little party~. It could become a dinner party~! Oh yes, he knew exactly what he wanted to do; he knew exactly how he would have to go about this. The beginning, however, was going to be filled with a day of stalking; a very prude approach, but it seemed they were not ready ready to retreat to any sort of abode. It was clear they were not related, though it seemed they shared a bond that was indicative of those who had known each other for years; it was so deep, in fact, that the two souls began to share a similar hue; they had such an impact on each other that they had changed the very being of the other, how romantic; of course this meant nothing to Vlad, but it was an interesting sight. It was not everyday that there would be a bond so strong. These two would be an easy mark; he could have a real fun time with them.

The pair of them shared some physical characteristics, but not many; the most noticeable similarity was the size of their breasts; both seemed to have B-cups; while C was the average, a B-cup still held its own merits, and they were fine as they were! He did not judge solely based on such a trivial thing; they both also had fairly nice asses. Rather plump, yet toned. It was not as though they simply let it grow; no, they worked to form a very nicely chiseled ass! Now, to discuss the other traits. The first was a brunette, around five foot five inches, and had blue eyes. Her friend, who seemed to be a bit more passive, had blonde hair, around five foot six inches, and had green eyes; the two made a combo that he did quite enjoy! He was sure that there would be a long night ahead of him!

Well, he would have to get through the day first! It seemed they had a very focused intent in their walk; having to keep up with the rather active group was not very difficult, but he had to maintain the distance of ten meters! It was not necessary to be so close, but it was merely something that he could use in the future; not having to use his vehicle to catch up to the group was something that he enjoyed, quite a bit! It would be a few hours before the pair had finished their little adventure; having went from store to store, stopping for nothing but to make a quick purchase, the two would leave with no more then six bags between the two of them. He did not understand the need to purchase so little after having been out for more than four hours, but it was not his life, and he chose not to question how others lived their lives; at least not his prey. It mattered not in the end!

It was at three in the afternoon that they would begin to leave the shopping district; yes, this was when he would have his fun; sure, it was still the middle of the day, but that did not mean anything. Alcoholics were already sloppy drunk, gamblers in a mountain of debt and sex addicts... Well, they probably haven't done very much at all. He did not believe this would take much longer then a few hours; he did wish to savor his time here, but he did not want to spend the entire night enjoying himself! He would need to find a job to balance out the joy he would be experiencing here. It was around three fifteen when the pair reached the house; it seemed Vlad was ready to go. As the door opened, and the two entered, Vlad quickly entered behind them; it was something that he had done so many times before, and it had never failed. He had already chose the role each would play; it was something he had to know before going in, or he would not have been prepared!

Grabbing the blonde by her hair, he would simply slam her head against the wall, closing the door behind him with his foot. It was as he did this that Azriel would form from his shadows and cover the mouth of the brunette; yes, he had to have his fun too. With this Azriel simply removed his hand and slammed the brunettes head against the banister. With this the door was closed and the two females lay on the ground, completely defeated. "Well, let us begin!" He chuckled, locking the door and closing the blinds. With this he would find the kitchen; this was one step he would have to prepare, but he would rather wait until after his fun. He was prepared; having snagged some rope before he had even set out on this little adventure he was ready to play~. Tying up the blonde, he simply gagged her mouth and bound her where she lay. She was going to be a nice little treat for after he had his fun with the friend. Tossing the female to the center of the room he would simply begin to have his fun with the girl; how would she react to this situation? These were the reactions he loved! When they were so helpless, but tried to struggle; they thought themselves strong enough to survive. How dull.

A smirk crossed his face, he couldn't resist anymore. His own instincts began to take over. It was with this that the soul would leave his body; it was no longer necessary! Having returned to his actual presentation he would begin to change yet again; the skin on his forehead began to contort itself, rising up until the bone would break through; his eyes turned a blood red and from his back came wings as dark as the night. Yes, this was his incubus form. He was ready to feast on this girls little soul, he was ready to have a fun time!

Leaping forward he simply slapped the female, looking into her eyes. "Please keep your voice down~." He chuckled, commanding the girl as he pleased. Her voice came out a whisper; the frantic screams nothing more than the whimper of a dying dog; yes, she was truly trapped in his web. It was with this that he would begin to pull at her shirt; the buttons loosening one by one. Running his hand down, down; lower and lower it sunk before he had finally reached the final button; this button simply fell off; there was no resistance in the clothing; her soul, however, was raging against him; it despised the situation it found itself; it was such an arousing moment. He could handle himself, he was not as prepared as he had thought. Grinning there was something different to his teeth; two had taken on the shape of fangs; yes, he was prepared to feed. "No, not yet~. You shall suffer a fate comparable to the whores in hell~." He chuckled, watching as the girl seemed to struggle; her arms beating against his chest to no avail; this was the end and she had to have known it; it was at this point that he reached down. He finished priming her; her eyes showed signs of defeat. Her arms began to slow, tears running down her cheek.

"Oh, I'm sure you'll enjoy this~." He chuckled, tearing the thread between the button and her jeans; with this he simply let out a smirk; his hand slid down her leg, revealing the rather plain combination of bra and panties; it was with this that he would drop his pants. Leaning forward he would simply lick the cheek of the female; her tears continued to fall, though they fell on deaf ears. It was with this motion that he dropped her panties. With a single moment he had sheathed his sword; each thrust desecrating what could have, at one point, been considered the purest of places on a person. From the initial thrust he would not care for the comfort of the female, who seemed to have already fallen victim to the fate of them all; emotionless. They seemed to have dissociated from their current self. "No fun~." He chuckled, before leaning in. Each thrust bearing the same force as the last. "Do return to yourself~. Just keep it down~." He mused; it was a calling back to reality. She could not escape her life, and he would not allow her to simply black out. No, it was not that easy. It was with this command that her eyes widened, and his smirk appeared. "The first time tends to get a little... messy." He exhaled. It was nothing spectacular. She flailed against his body, and with that, he simply rose his hand. Slamming the back of his hand against her face, it seemed she had to learn her place. "You are the mutt." He chuckled, turning the female over. It was with this that his fingers would begin to shape themselves into claws; his left hand rose and planted her face into the wooden floor; she was merely his play thing and would know it by the end of their encounter.

By this time the friend had already come to; she simply lay there, unable to move, as her friend was raped. It seemed to be an added psychological torment for the girl; how fun, the color of the two souls changed to the same hue. Again.

Well, who truly cared. It was not as though he had any care for the change in their souls; he simply wanted to feast; his thrusts continued as furious as ever. With each thrust his hand would slap across her ass. His claws digging into the skin, tearing it to a point of no return; it was after a few thrusts that he would be forced to toy with her back; cutting it beyond repair was something that he would do to mark his territory.

It was with his next thrust that he would lurch forward; digging his teeth into the females neck. Yes! Raising his head the soul began to leave her body; it flew through the air and into the mans mouth. "Yummy~." He chuckled before rolling the girl onto her back. Slashing his name into her chest he simply snapped his finger; some lost soul would fill this body; it would allow her to continue her life; she would never forget this moment... or the one that was about to happen. She would stand as a testament to what he did, to who he was, to what he enjoyed. One last thrust before he unsheathed his blade and reached his limit; leaving a present on her chest he simply pulled up his pants; buckling his belt he let out a sigh of relief. "I really needed that. Thanks so much~." He spoke, a hint of relief in his tone. It with this that he would turn to the other female; yes, it was her turn to enjoy his company.

He was already decided on how to treat himself. "Well, I do suppose it is your time to enjoy the pleasures of my company~." He mocked, walking forward; it seemed she had already submitted to him; she already knew there was no escape from hell. "One does not escape hell.... Well, they don't escape unless they know the tricks. The secrets. They know what sins they've committed." His saunter took on that of a mock; with each step he took his time; he knew there was no escape and he knew that she had no other hope. He played with this until he found there to be nothing more to gain; bending over he began to whisper into her ear. "I am a sinner, don't ya know? I may pay one day, but that day is not today~." He chuckled, bitting her ear. "Well, I suppose I should being our little play! It does take a bit of time to set up a nice, and mannered, ritual!" He laughed. This part was one of his favorites; the fact that they simply had no escape; he had all the time in the world to do as he pleased with this one. In fact...

Walking to the kitchen he would simply grab one of the filet knives; he would be taking his time with this one. Walking over toward the female who still lay on the floor, the only cover was the bra he allowed her to wear. "You'll enjoy this!" He spoke, grabbing the love seat and turning it around. Tossing the girl, who was unable to move her body at the moment, he simply put her on the couch. "Be sure to watch it all. No blacking out~." He commanded. His voice allowed him command over the opposite sex; yes, it was something he was truly in love with. He could do whatever it was that he had to do, and he had no fear of resistance!

Walking back to the female who was bound he simply grabbed her hair, forcing her to stand. Tying her hands to the banister, he would force her to stay standing. Running the blade down her shirt, he simply cut it through, revealing the girls fair skin. "Well, shall we begin yet? Oh, but we must see it all~." He chuckled, removing the shirt and bra; slicing through her pants he would leave her bare naked; hanging now, her eyes dead, she simply allowed this all to continue; there was no point in resisting what he had planned for her. There was nothing that she could do to stop him.

"Well, I do believe the first thing to do is introduce myself! Please, do call me Vladimir! I do believe you all know me as the Coming Storm, but that is going to be outdated pretty soon. I plan to rise above those mongrels; they simply claim to be evil, and while I applaud that... I am superior! They are such weak people, barely able to hold their own in this world. I do believe I shall be one of the most nefarious beings on this planet. I do wish to introduce myself as such! Well, look at me! Getting excited so soon!" He waved the knife in a playful manner. "Please, do call me Vladimir the Wrathful. Or perhaps you can simply call me the Harbinger of Death? Oh, I do like that~!" He chuckled, turning to the blonde. "Well, enough for introductions! You have waited long enough, no? How mean of me! I apologize." He chuckled, running the dull edge of the blade against her thigh. "Well, where do we begin this little session of ours?" He spoke, a child like wonder filled his voice. "Oh, I know~!" He spoke, the blade now running along her neck. With this he lifted the blade and placed it in the valley between her breasts. Digging the blade into her skin he began sent the blade upward, wrapping it around the breast closest to him. Upon fully encircling it he would simply drag it across the breast, carving some form of intricate swirl onto the breast; yes, the two would be stuck with scars for the entirety of their lives. He raised the blade for a moment; he found himself unable to decide what he wanted to do...

Placing the knife against her supple skin he traced it down her chest, then back up. He was merely pondering what, exactly, he would do before completing the ritual. It was then that he had decided how he was going to enjoy this! He knew what he had to do. Raising the blade he would kneel down. Placing the knife at the base of her foot he dragged it through her skin, ripping apart the skin of her thighs, all the way up to her hips. Moving the knife to the side he would run it down the left leg of the female. "Oi, no passing out from the pain." He chuckled, standing up. It seemed she had finally awoke from the dream like place she had chose to visit. Perhaps he should give her a gift for finally joining them! He slashed her cheek, a smirk on his face. "Well, I could simply end the ritual now... but why should I?" He chuckled. "Azriel, I haven't seen you in some time! Come, show yourself! You haven't had fun in quite some time! Enjoy yourself... I'm sorry to have forgotten you!" He spoke, his smirk still plastered on his face. It was with this that he would emerge from the ground, accepting the knife Vlad was handing him. With this Vlad went over to the couch and sat beside the brunette. "Lets enjoy this~." He chuckled.

"Thank you for the entertainment, sir. I'll make plenty use of it." He chuckled, looking the female over. Where to begin? Her feet? Hands? Breasts? He decided. It seemed that Vlad had chose to not touch the right side of the females upper torso; this would be his playground. Running the blade across her breast he simply began to filet the females chest; he was not going to allow her to get out of this without feeling his own hell. Who, exactly, was Azriel? This was something most did not know...

Azriel, the name given to this demon, was once a good man. Living a virtuous life he had not committing any crimes, in fact, he was a man of the law. Having severed as a member of the magic council, albeit this was too many years ago to count, and was rather good at what he did. Having a wife, who he cherished,  he was content, that was until he had found out the unfortunate truth. His wife, who he loved dearly, was an adulterous women; she had been cheating on him for months. Deciding to not confront her on this issue. Having been away for a month on magic council work he had arrived home early; this was when things changed. Stepping into his own house he caught his wife and another man in bed; infuriated he would attack the both of them, slaying them where they lay. Having killed the both of them he stumbled backwards and ran down the block. He had acted rash, however, he did not feel guilty for what he had done. He simply felt a weight being removed from his shoulders, he felt better. He did not feel the anger that he had been smothering for months now. He let out a laugh, grabbing his face. "The bitch deserved it." He chuckled, beginning to control his breath. Being on the run for just under a year the man was caught and tried. Showing no remorse for his actions they put him to death. This, however, was not the end of his journey. After his death, he was ferried to a land unlike any he had seen before. It was barren, with nothing but a single building. This tower rose to the sky, reaching higher than he could even see; it's width was that of two football fields, it had a very dark presence. The stone walls devoid of any inscriptions, devoid of anything that would show age. Not a single chip lay on this wall, it was immaculate. Being drawn into the building by an unseen force he was in a state of awe. He did not know what was going on, nor could he possibly know his fate.

Walking forward he began to examine the structure, there seemed to be no formal of entrance. Was it simply a pillar? Could he have been imagining things? As he was about to simply walk away an entrance appeared on the tower. Walking in he looked all around, this is where his tale begins. The entrance had closed behind him, leaving him trapped in this tower. "Welcome, please do get comfortable. You may be here for a while." The creature smiled at the man, ushering him forward. "What you have before you are two doors." He would point to his right and his left, a door appearing upon his motioning. "A chance to walk amongst the living." He motioned toward the left door. "And a chance to remain at peace, a chance to simply rest." He motioned toward the right door. "You are given this choice, if you need some time you may take it. There is no rush, simply enter when you have chosen." The creature said with a smile, before disappearing.

The first thing that was apparent to Azriel was that there would be a payment that had to be filled for either decision. Was his life fulfilling? Yes. Did he want to give it another go? Why not. Walking through the door, which was to grant him another chance to walk amongst the living, he would black out. Upon recovering it was unclear as to how many days, weeks, months, or even years had passed. This is where we shall leave our tale. Why spoil the story of this demon, Azriel? When the time is right the rest shall be revealed. Perhaps sometime in the near future.

This decision something that would continually infiltrate his mind; he was unsure of his decision, and the truth was that he was unsure of whether this was as it should have been. These thoughts, however, never took rest in his mind. He dismissed them as mere phantoms of his past life, rebelling against the life he was now living. After a few moments of vicious slicing he simply stabbed the knife into the wall before walking off. "Thank you for the concern Vlad." He spoke before disappearing.

"Well, it seems that he did less than I would have hoped... Well, its fine!" He chuckled. "Well, I have a new plan!" He spoke, a slight smirk on his face. "Let us bolster his confidence! Let us help him get over these little insecurities that bog him down." He spoke. "Well, let us complete this little event~." He sung as he knelt down, beginning to carve some sort of symbol into the females abdomen; yes, this was another type of soul exchange. Slamming his fist into her gut, the room would take on a slight red tint, the soul of the female dropping into the ground, a measly one taking roost in the body. "Well, I enjoyed the party. Hope to do it again! Um... Yes, don't forget about me now." He winked, turning his back on the pair and leaving the place. A simple exist was all he needed; he had done what he had planned. He was rather happy with this.

Closing the door behind him he would begin to walk through the town; it was no later than five in the afternoon, and as such he planned on procuring a job; he wanted to do a bit more. He could not go to bed feeling like this; he had barely done anything! It was as he had just began his little journey through the town, no more than five minutes had elapsed, he found himself at a job board. "Well, how amazing is this~." He chuckled as he began to rummage through the countless fliers; so many people had lost their cat, or needed some sort of small errand to be run. "Dull..." He sighed, though he continued to search through the fliers, he did hope to find something to entertain him for the rest of the day! It was with this that he had found a flier that held a missing persons poster attached; this seemed to be very interesting. "Well, what is this?" He chuckled, tearing the flier down; it seemed to be a bit of a distance to travel, but it would be worth it. Settling on this job he had decided to fulfill this! Well... lets just see how this goes!

With a slight sigh he began his walk towards... where was it? He had to check the flier once more; it was some place he had not heard of, let alone saw on a damned map. Well, it gave some semblance of directions to the place. It seemed they wished to meet the person who would be going on the job first... was it worth the interaction? Well, it is not as though he was tight for time... A split second decision brought him down the road toward this no name town. He knew there was no real upside to seeking those who have asked for this job in the first place, though he did believe it would be an interesting encounter.

It seemed that the house was one that could only be comparable to that of a mansion; they were pretty well off, just as many of these clients were. It seemed the wealthy had the jewel to request the services of these mages; it was as though the mages were nothing more than expensive prostitutes; in fact, thats what most mages were; they simply went on jobs in order to expand their coffers. Vlad was not like this, he had a goal; he did not care for the jewel, though it did help me in his endeavors. He had once fought to change society, but he has seen the impossibility of that. He does not care for maintaining any semblance of order; all he cared for at this point was reformation. In order to build something that was not a false, a facade, a weak creation you must start anew; the current construct must be destroyed, and a whole new template built. It was this idea that has brought him this far. He would destroy this world; this society; this broken template. It all had to come down to allow for the creation of a beautiful world. Hell, it did not have to be beautiful! It simply had to change. To destroy this world, that was his goal. Yes, to begin anew. That was what he must fight for. After having entered the mansion and exchanging greetings, which he did not enjoy, he had left.

The mystic tower; a place that seemed to draw in mages from all over. By simply approaching the area one could feel the magical presence it emits. Every so often a person would be so bold as to enter the tower, however, that person was usually never seen again. This is where the job began; it seemed some influential nobles daughter had wandered into the tower, and has not returned home. A day has passed since this incident, and the family has been in a panic. They knew after two days the chance of retrieving a missing person alive dropped dramatically. This was the job Vlad was tasked with.

Letting out a slight sigh, Vlad would simply look around; he had exited the mansion and was not exactly sure where he was meant to be going... He was not lost, per say, but he was not familiar with this area. Truth be told, he had never been to either location; he learned of a new place, some house of a pompous noble, and now a "Mystical" tower. "Mystical? Really?" He laughed, walking through the gate of the manner. "Now, which way..." It seemed Vlad was in the mood to talk to himself today, very strange.

In fact, the only reason Vlad had taken this job was because of a rumor he had heard. Apparently there was a group of mages taking refuge in that particular tower; they seemed to be a cult of some kind. Offering up sacrifices to some deity. Perhaps they believed the sun to be a god? Morons like them are what made life even harder to deal with. When attempting to go about his own business these were the type of people that would usually hold him up; make him waste time on fruitless tasks, to make a decision simply to appease the person. Vlad, often, killed these people. Who would deal with the likes of them?

Looking up to the sky, Vlad decided it was best to head north. The place was definitely in the north! It was a gut feeling Vlad had; he hoped he was correct with this assumption. The dirt would mold under his feet; each step brought him closer and closer to his destination. There was one sign that allowed him to be confident in his decision to head north; as he grew closer and closer to this location the magical presence would increase. One could feel the amount of magic in the air increasing, significantly, as they approached the tower.

Now, after having climbed a rather large hill, Vlad began to see his destination; the tower was something that simply could not be ignored. It rose from the ground to an amazing height; made of some orange substance, it must be very sturdy. How could a person build something that would not last? Especially when it would be built to reach heights such as that. "Well, I suppose that this is a good sign..." He yawned, looking around. Where was the other mage? He was told that he would run across the person at some point, but he has not run into another soul thus far. Well, it was fine with him. He often found that others simply got in his way, or distracted him. Well, he would not let that happen this time. These people, some rag tag cult as it seemed, could not be allowed to continue their existence. If one was to build a cult, then it must be done in secret. Let no one know of it, and if they do, kill them. It was a simple rule. Staying hidden, shrouded in darkness, is the best option for all those who were considered monsters; the people who made things go bump in the night. This was how he was able to live his life.

Deciding to quicken his pace, he simply wished to end the party. Now, taking up a speed walk, Vlad was on the move; he was ready to quickly eliminate all those who stood in his path, and even those who admitted defeat; they always return to the same life. It simply was a matter of time. Letting out a slight smirk he found his first... targets.

Standing at the front of the tower was a band of ten mages; they all seemed a bit wet behind the ears. This was going to be a lot simpler than he had thought. "Oh, you boys. Scram." As he said that the bunch simply looked Vlad over, then began to laugh.

"What are you going to do if we don't?" The leader provoked, walking forward. As he did so Azriel would erupt from the shadows, slashing upwards he would slit the mans throat. Blood would fly from the mans neck, covering Azriel in the mans tainted blood. "Disgusting..." He muttered, moving forward. Watching this the nine remaining men would flea from the scene; it seemed they were not told of the dangers this possessed. Perhaps they though this was a simple club they could join due to boredom? Idiots.

Fear, that is what compelled these men to flee. They were afraid they would be next. Who would give their life for a group of people they just joined? For those that may, or may not, share the same values? Any person who was completely blinded would do this; there were only a few who could be completely fooled into that life, and those were the one that would die. It was simple. Now, moving forward, he simply ignored the body on the ground.

The possibilities of what could happen to the child began to enter into his mind; who knew what these, albeit supposed, cultists would do? There were many scenarios that would pop into the males mind as he waited for his partner.

Torture. As the female was wandering around inside the tower the occupants, who would have thought the place belonged to them, would have become furious at the fact that she had been skipping around there without any semblance of respect, dignity or pride. Having no respect for what they would, definitely, see as a holy place they would go mad; who knew what they would do exactly? Grab the child, drag her to the top of the tower and tie her down to some crudely made altar? This was, definitely, a possibility. From there they may break out their knives, torches and other instruments of torture; what would be heard from that point would only be screams, assuming they did not gag her. This was merely the first plausible outcome.

Hostage. While this was unlikely, at least in Vlad's eyes, it was something that could occur. Simply taking the female as she wandered around this place would not be that troublesome; it would, in fact be much easier once she entered the tower. Having stories that people who entered never left would allow for the perfect guise. No one would have suspected the female had simply been taken hostage; being held for ransom would allow the cult to gain funds. What they would do with these funds was beyond Vlad, why would they need the money? They would not, unless the higher ups used it to live extravagant lives. This was, often, how a cult would behave. Those at the top merely using those below them to further their own agenda. Truth be told, this was how everyday life was!

Slavery. While this idea was the most annoying to Vlad, it was entirely plausible. Who said a cult was above the use of children as slaves? The cult may simply be taking them from this tower and transporting them to some mine, living their lives as simple miners; who knew? All that was clear, at this point, was that the people who entered this place never left; this was something that also caught his attention.

Were they living in this tower? It is totally plausible that those who entered were those who wished to simply join the cult, and had no reason to leave after joining. If they had entered with the right supplies anything would be plausible; magic allows for crazy things to be done. With only a few seeds, and some mages, it was plausible to start a farm. A farm would lead to a commune. The building was plenty large to facilitate living quarters, and magic could reproduce the outside world, if blended correctly. Yes, this was an entirely plausible idea that entered his mind.

This was as far as he would think about such an idiotic matter. Who cared what they were using those they abducted for? Not all of them were his concern; to be honest none of them were. Even this child, who he had been tasked to rescue, was not something that he really thought of. He simply was looking forward to the reward; it was not like this job was something that would further his ideals. Increase his power throughout the land. It was not something that would, completely, change his future. It would not change his ideals. It would simply fund his plans; more money in the war chest was something no one complained about. Money was something that could be considered equivalent to power, if you knew how to use it. Yes, in the right hands money was power.

Money? Well, he was going to be obtaining it no matter how he had decided to end this job; it was going to end fairly quickly. It is not as though you could expect these fools to hold him off? In fact... why allow them to even see his face? Entering the first floor he would open his pouch; he had five skulls and then two other charges; he was going to blow this bitch sky high! Each layer was fitted with a window, so he had a plan~. Putting three of the skulls in a triangular formation, with the charges in the center of the two sides, this was easy shit! "Azriel! I have a task for you bud! I wish for you to race to the top of the tower, grab the child and throw them out the window! Well, dive and ensure they are not hurt! I do know that you cannot die, so we shall be fine!" He chuckled, looking over the the man who had now just appeared beside him. "As you wish." Is all he had replied with. Yes, this was going to be amazing~.

It was with this that Azriel quickly scaled the tower; taking no breaks to kill those who were stationed at each layer of the tower, he simply kept his focus on the task at hand; grab the child and leap. As he continued to scale the tower his past began to flare up, the thoughts nagging him; he did not have time for this and simply ignored them; all he had to do was run, and that's all he did. Running. Just keep running. It was with this that he had reached the final floor of the tower, it was over. Grabbing the female off of some alter he simply jumped out the window.

It was with this that he had tossed a skull into the bottom floor. Grabbing the child as Azriel disappeared he let out a smirk. "Thanks bud!" He chuckled, running as the building blew; all fifty floors would begin to plummet down on themselves. It was the top floor which had the words of it; yes, the leader was dead, without any form of doubt. It was a success; he had done as he had to in order to get the child; the child, who was unharmed, was now balling; it seems that she was still scared; well he did not care. She simply had to live on the way back.

As they left the screams of those who did not die simply screaming for their lives; well, he had no mercy; they would die. It was with this that he climbed the hill that he had not even ten minutes ago. It was actually very neat to consider how quickly it all was completed, and he was a bit proud of himself.

It was as this occurred that Azriel was assaulted by his thoughts once more.

This was it. He couldn't handle it, though he was beginning to feel a bit better.

Handing the child a skull he simply left after collecting his money. As he counted his money, the house behind him blew. It was over.
