    Caster or Holder: Caster
    Description: The Abyss, a vile and corrupt existence. The endless dark of the abyss hides within the darkness of the deep places of the world. Many have attempted to control the Abyss all to fail in the end due to their weak minds. The lack of success was broken leaving only one to act as a vessel for the Abyss.

    Nemesis formerly known as Claire, a twisted and tormented existence is the only way the Abyss can interact with the world above the darkness. Being a creation of a mad man Nemesis is the unwilling vessel of the Abyss driven by vengeance. She utilizes the Abyss in multiple unexpected fashions differing based on the need.

    Strengths:

    • The darkness masks the color of the Abyss making this magic hard to see when in the dark.

    Weaknesses:

    • Holy energy though not increasing damage to the user, actually triggers more pain than normal.
    • The light makes seeing the Abyss trivial.


    Lineage:

    Strength of Hercules:
    Description: Son of the God Zeus and a mortal woman, Hercules was the strongest man alive. He received his strength not only from his father, but also from his step-mother Hera; who was tricked into giving him her milk by Artemis. Hercules was strong enough to lift the Argo into the ocean so it could set sail. However, Hera cursed him with madness that led him into a life of misery and anger. He performed 12 trials for the Gods to redeem himself, but his madness overcame him and led him to his end. Spartans claimed to be the sons of Hercules, inheriting his god-like strength.
    Ability: 100% strength increase and 50% HP increase but less agility.  Must describe a weak point on their body where if hit they take 200% excess damage and are paralyzed for 2 posts in their character app.
    Usage: Passive
    Unique Abilities:

    Abyssal Stitching: So long as Nemesis is above 0 health she will automatically regenerate lost flesh as if it had never been removed in the first place, this does not heal her health only heals her physical form. This reduces the effectiveness of bleeds by half.

    Description: The user uses the abyss to blink from one area to another within a 10 meter range. This range is doubled if the user is under half health.
    Strengths:

    • Is more effective after the user has been beaten down a bit.

    Weaknesses:

    • Is less effective when the user is full strength.
    • Spell can be constrained when enclosed within a space with thick solid objects that can't be blinked through.


    The Crawler:

    Name: The Crawler
    Rank: D
    Type: Abyssal, Summoning
    Duration: 4 posts
    Cooldown: 5 posts
    Description: The crawler, an abomination of the abyss, appears to be constituted by the top half of a human torso twisted into ravenous hungering creature demanding to feast on human flesh. The creature consumes one body gained by consume the dead. It is quite slow and doesn't seem to have a sense of sight.

    Strengths:

    • The Crawler is small and hard to hit...

    Weaknesses:

    • ... But is very slow this easy to hit.
    • Has no sense of sight thus it can not see where it is going.

    Abilities:

    Passive: The crawler emits a sensory aura around it extending 15 meters, if anything enters this aura the crawler and it's controller will know immediately.


    Active: The crawler lobs a black mass in an arc at a target, this black mass does D rank damage and travels at a speed of 10 meters per second up to 20 meters in range in an arc. If the mass doesn't hit anyone it morphs into a second crawler which has no abilities besides normal attacks. This can only be done once every two posts and once the original crawler vanishes so do the copies.
    Strengths:

    • Can spawn multiple crawlers.


    Weaknesses:

    • The black mass doesn't travel that fast thus it's somewhat easy to dodge.
    • The black mass once thrown can not have it's trajectory altered making it even more easy to dodge.


    Null:

    Type: Abyssal, Defensive
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 3 posts
    Description: The abyss hungers, begging to be fed fresh magic, as such it can be used to remove non-attached (not being held by the caster) spells of D rank magnitude from this plane of existence while within a range of 10 meters from Nemesis.
    Strengths:

    • Can completely remove a spell so long as it is at least 5 feet from its caster.

    Weaknesses:

    • Can't effect a spell held or too close to their caster.
    • Definitely can't effect augmentation spells.


    Negative Vibe:

    Description: The user touches a target, the target suddenly feels themselves drained of all positivity causing them to fall into a minor lapse of major depression. The more positive the target the harsher the lapse of depression. This depression can eventually become so great that the target can barely go on living, crippling them in the process while also causing them to say something about themselves that is depressing.
    Strengths:

    • Becomes stronger the more positive a person is, essentially covering the gap between ranks if a higher ranking target is beyond positive.

    Weaknesses:

    • Can essentially have zero effect against those with a near hopeless outlook on life already.
    • Is very short in duration.

    Dread: The user’s very existence is dread, if anyone is to simply be around the user while this aura effect is active they will have fear projected into their hearts giving off a sense of dread. While this aura is active a black mist permeates the area, just coming in contact with it afflicts dread but inhaling it has the effects of causing madness in one’s mind. While under the effects of dread people lose track of their magic usage causing them to spend 2% more MP when casting spells. This aura may be activated or deactivated at any time, it and Vanish can not be active at the same time.

    Vanish:

    Vanish: The user so long as they are not seen by anyone can simply vanish from everyone's sensory making them appear as if they ceased to exist on magic sensory. While this effect is active they cannot be detected by any means besides sight or sound and the effect automatically ends once they have either been detected or they use a spell that would otherwise alert someone to their presence. They may also active this effect by playing dead as to make something think they have died despite them seeing the user’s body. While this effect is active, Dread may not be active at the same time. While Vanish is active the user’s next spell or attack does double damage. You're going to hate me for this, but I would like for you add that higher ranking magi (considering it's common sense that higher ranked magi are more powerful and likely capable of such a thing) are able to minorly sense your presence. Likewise, I'd like for the spell's damage to be dropped from 2x damage to 50% damage increase.
    Consume the Dead:

    Consume the Dead: When the user kills someone the abyss consumes the corpse and all evidence that said corpse was ever there to begin with. When a body disappears it seems to be consumed by a black mist, these bodies are then used by the Abyss to create soldiers which can then be summoned using spells.
