Those Who Lost Their Souls (Private|Job|Yuki)

Through the canopy of tree's the line shone down onto Vlad; it seemed he had taken his rest atop a tree. This was one of the better spots to sleep, after all. The natural light was indicative of it being time to awaken, and even the positioning he found himself in was not very bad! Moving his hand up, blocking the light from his eyes, he would let out a loud yawn; it seemed it was time to get moving. Leaning to the right, Vlad would simply fall out of the tree, rolling as he hit the ground. An interesting way to start the day.

Dusting himself off, he would quickly stand and look around; it seemed he was near some no name town. That was good enough. Letting out a slight yawn, Vlad would begin to walk down the beaten path. He had chose a tree that was very close to the path that he had used, simply because of the ease of travel on the way back; why reinvent the wheel? He had already discovered a path, there was no reason to create a brand new one. It was so much work for something so redundant. 

As he continued down the path he heard the chirp of birds, the cracking of branches and the squealing of pigs; where was he again? Well, it mattered not! He was near his destination, and he could not wait! He simply wanted to obtain a new job and further his goal; while not all jobs allowed for his goals to be furthered, it did allow for him to grow as a mage; it was this growth that allowed for him to get closer and closer to the goal; in the end, it was all the same. Whether it had a direct affect on his progress, or an indirect affect mattered not; all that mattered to him was the fact that it would push him closer and closer.

The town quickly approached and with it his consciousness began to sharpen; he couldn't be so diluted when he made this decision, it never ended well. The town was rather active for being so early in the morning; having had the sun just rise he had expected the streets to be nearly deserted, with the occasional traveler. "Huh, it seems they are able to rise from their beds earlier then I had expected. Well done." He chuckled, quickly making for the job board.  

It was at this point that he would realize something! This place seemed to have a plethora of jobs! There had to be some that were SOMEWHAT challenging! It was after a few minutes of sifting through the flyers that he realized how wrong he was! There was nothing challenging here. The only interesting thing he was able to find was some training camp... What the hell? Well, it was better than nothing! Grabbing the flyer he could sense something; it seems he wasn't the first one to get here. He was not the first to have touched this. There was another... How nice~.

It seemed it would finally be the time for him to meet an associate, though it seemed this was going to be very interesting! Who was it? Who had decided to throw their soul away and server Eris? What type of person? They must share the same thoughts as himself? Perhaps not. He was pretty excited; he had only met one other servant of Eris, and he enjoyed her company very much. Marceline was a person who had been a loyal companion throughout his time in Fiore; she was someone he was able to count on. He did hope that this person would be just as loyal, and reliable, as she was. "Well, let us begin!" He chuckled, beginning to leave the town; it seemed he had some distance to travel before he could arrive at the place. 

The best way to describe his destination was simply a corrupt tower; what else could one call it? The name given to this location was "Corrupt Tower!" Corruption; this was what he had found himself hating; not the corruption of all, merely a few things; he was a corruptor, but that was acceptable. He did not abuse his own power. Well, that was a lie. He simply disliked the hierarchy of this land, and perhaps he used Corruption as an excuse? No, that couldn't be it. It was the abuse of those in power; this land was meant to be a free one; it was advertised as such! This is what must have annoyed him. 

It was at this point in time that the tower would begin to be visible; he could already tell that this was going to be an amazing day! He would begin to make some new connections; he would be able to, possibly, find someone who could become a useful companion on jobs! Perhaps this would be a very enjoyable time! Perhaps they would be competent; why was he doing all of this pondering? Why did he not simply hustle and meet this person!? It was with this that he would simply blast forward; yes, he was using his amazingly powerful rollerskates! These little shits let him hit the speed of lightning, yes.... HE COULD DO IT! He would then arrive at the tower, though only a few seconds passed. 

"Well? Is there anyone here? If so, please do reveal yourself! I know what you are, and you know what I am! Or rather, you know some of it! You know enough! The name is Vlad." He chuckled, assuming the other person had been nearby. If she was not, then he was talking to himself... great! "Well, I do hope you choose to reveal yourself! If you are here, if not then I'll simply wait for your arrival..." It was with this that he would simply lean against the tower, not paying much attention to it; perhaps he would look it over before they entered. Who knew?

It was as Vlad simply sat there that something began to eat away at Vlad; there was something that he could not put his finger on; there was this weird feeling. What was it? Vlad would simply begin to look back, thinking on the time it took for him to get from the tree to this location. 

He had dropped from the branch, as nimble as a cat, and then began his track; there was something odd. Did he hear a voice? OH SHIT! He had completely ignored some female. Well, it could be worse! He could have ignored her for a prolonged period of time... wait.... it was as he thought back on this that he came to realize he had. He had simply continued to walk, simply ignoring the dialogue she attempted to begin. He felt bad, but then he felt worse....

Looking to his side he realized she had followed him here.... "Oh, hello! I do apologize, I had not seen, or heard, you earlier. But damn girl, could you give me a little twirl? I do apologize, I am usually much more observant." He chuckled, scratching the back of his head; how rude he was! Simply ignoring the female. After that little monologue he would simply stand; it seemed he had spent enough time leaning. "I am Vlad, and who are you?" He spoke, a slight inflection to his voice. "Well, I suppose I am to escort you on this job!" He chuckled, walking past the female. "Please do keep up; do be useful! I do not wish for you to get hurt! I mean, where is the fun in that? Plus, I enjoy looking at you." He chuckled. It was as they entered the tower that they were locked in; it seemed that they were to fight for survival, thats what the voice said. 

"Well, do survive! This is training after all!" The voice chuckled! It was as it spoke that two others entered the room. "Try to help!" He chuckled.
