The weather that day beckoned him into an expectant mood, as it was naturally one of the coldest in a long hot week, and with the promise of adventure set into his mind, Fenris ushered himself out of the confines of the indoors.

A childish grin curved his cheeks ruefully as he relished the sweetness of his strawberry ice-cream, which was incredibly satisfying in his standards. His taste-buds must be cheering on in happiness as each lick prompts an even wider smile, the best part knowing that each taste is free, since he didn't pay so much as a penny. The funny old man was a light-hearted one, and he seemed to enjoy handing free ice-cream to kids like him who came in often, though the amount of extra ice cream scoops gave him a hint that Fenris was a very special case. Perhaps he had an affinity with attracting the most basic of innocence with his eyes alone, an incredibly pleasant shade of green that has the faint of heart falling to their knees.

Fenris fluttered his long lashes one more time as he finished off the remnants of his ice cream, his giggles softly muttered through the pink slush. At best, this was the little conqueror's first trip through Cedar, and he already felt the lovely vibe everyone's been offering him as he continued to amuse them with Fenris's warm laughs and his youthful maturity despite his age. The town was an entire carnival for the little boy and he couldn't wait to tip it over with how gullible the people were. It was easy to take someone by surprise, but to catch them at their weakest, when they so dearly held an affection, was the best time for him to strike his lies, preparing the best ending for the finale at the end of the day.

Just as he considered an idea of turning someone into a human chess piece, a wisp of wind fluttered from a far-away corner of the streets and with it, a piece paper drifted by, landing nonchalantly at his feet. Fenris took a brief glance at it, a spark of interest growing in his eyes as he skimmed over the words. Tiny fingers immediately grasped unto the fragile thing before it fluttered away again. Upon closer inspection, the highlighted words were just the type of adventure he was looking for. Simple words was what they were on paper, but to him, they were hell's gift to the carnage in him that was already curdling a diabolic smile in him as he walked, job offer in hand, towards the address imprinted in bold, black letters.

Even at the gates, the estate that the job offer lead to was impressive for the common man. Though the information was brief, he had learned that the man's name was Bernard Wershtire, and that he recently proposed to a young and beautiful maiden of Cedar by the name of Juliette Avenues, riddled to be one of the most fair with her unparalleled kindness that only enhanced her unearthly beauty. They were to be married in a few months, and as the hastily scribbled note explained it, his client wishes that it'd be halted in order for him to have a chance at Juliette.

Though he hadn't met the man, he pondered if the one who wrote the job offer with such a chicken scrawl was an uncultured swine, someone who fell for his pathetic human failures and ultimately succumbed to the sides of deviousness. It was ironic to watch him grasp for a Juliet when he was not, in any way at all, a Romeo.

But Noez wasn't someone who'd bother with matters of the heart, so long as he'd fine a leisurely afternoon pass-time with this, he'd be glad to ignore whatever happens to this would-be lover and be on his merry way, perhaps get another ice cream or two before he left Cedar.

His finger pressed down lightly on a blue button that sat squashed between stray leaves of ivy and the gate wall, coaxing a robust-sounding voice that slurred over his words as his accent rolled over the intercom. "Halt. State your business."

Noez coughed a little as he fixed his voice into the most benign sounding child he could muster, his arms bundling over the expensive bouquet in his arms. "S-sir," he stuttered, looking up into the hidden camera that loomed over his form, "I'm...from a flower-sending company, s-sir...may I request entrance from Mr. Wershtire? It's...these flowers...they're from Miss Avenues."

The little boy waited in silence as shuffling sounds whispered over the intercom, small voices muttering to themselves before a highly-educated sounding voice interrupted them. And Noez made a guess that his target just fell for his facade. He applauded himself in his head as the voice was laced thickly in ignorance.

"If it's from my darling Julie, then you're welcome to come in little guy! Quickly now, open the gates for him!" Bernard urged, his subordinates grumbling as the gates opened with a slow motion, metal clanging against metal, and with a faint sigh of contentment, the little boy stepped into the Wershtire estate without so much as a pause.

Originally, he planned to make this a swift and quick execution, volunteering to invade the household when night was well into the chime of darkness. Yet he realized there were many flaws, such as tighter security, and him missing out on another helping of strawberry ice-cream due to the store being closed. So he opted for a far more...subtle approach, the flowers being his personal touch of deliverance.

Bernard's maids began to polish an impressive purple vase as their master admired the bouquet at his bedside, rolling the soft petals of the roses between his fingers. Noez tossed his legs over the tall sofa chair situated beside his shelves of books. Though he wasn't seated long enough due to him falling victim for the intricately bound classical novels that seemed neglected, dust gathering on their pages, which saddened to a certain extent.

As Bernard busied himself by scolding his made for improperly handling the expensive vase, Noez found himself glossing over the titles in his shelves, fingering their spines with the utmost of ease. One book had no dust at all, to his surprise, and he edged it out quietly out of its place. The boy was expecting a grand classic where fantasies were brought to life thanks to its title, but flipping through the pages told otherwise. Inside were hand-drawn images of the most bizarre positions of a man and a woman uniting their...bodies? Both individuals were stripped off their dignity and were bare to the world with the greatest detail lining their soft, plump things that'd normally go under cloth. Kisses were settled between the other images, some were more intense, others just incredibly abnormal, where the bodies were twisted together in a mangled mess. The only time he'd seen such an obscenity was when he hurdled a pile of corpses together in a ball for fun.

Below the images were a detailing of how to achieve the "ultimate" feeling with a course of action, directions, and even objectives. As Noez braved himself to close the book, he let go of a breath that he didn't realize he was holding.

Of course he knew what it was, he just didn't bother muddling into these kinds of things because he had no interest in affairs and stimulation, it all seemed like a bore to him. He'd already found greater pleasure in torturing the humans, anyway.

With the book tucked quietly back into the shelf, Noez found himself alone with Bernard, a solemn presence that glanced out the glass window, a single thorn-less rose in one hand. "Ah...my dear Juliette, I can't wait to see you in your wedding dress." he murmured.

He seemed occupied, so the little boy found the opportunity to approach the vase that sat on his bed-side table. The vase was carved into what seemed to be curved torso of a woman whose hips were extremely emphasized. Though he could care less. His tiny fingers popped open a tiny glass bottle that glowed with a bright translucent liquid. Delicately, he poured the contents into the vase, making sure they coated the stems evenly. Judging by the potency of the concoction, he was sure that half a bottle would do, but then he heard something profound that made the little boy think twice.

"I can't wait to strip it off you, and make your entire body write under mine as I-"

The next string of detailed description was registered in his mind as a blur as he focused on emptying the small bottle, counting each drop as it melted into the thorns of the roses and slithered down the long stems of the hyacinths.

Everyone would reap what they so, this is a philosophy he believes in. And right then, he wanted to deliver a befitting end to a man's ungodly urges in his distinct fashion.

When the job was done, he looked around quietly, noting that there were absolutely zero cameras patrolling this area of the house. Perhaps the master didn't want his subordinates knowing what he did in the dark.

'What a loathsome existence.' he thought, pocketing the bottle with a soft rustle of fabric.

He didn't spare Mr. Wershtire a conversation as he quietly bid him farewell, only catching his attention for a milisecond as he said his goodbyes, only to return to his mutterings as Noez closed the door to his room with a resentful expression hiding beneath the safety of his general cap. He had wished that he could just chop off the man's head with the opportunity presented to him, his back turned, his focused dulled. But their would be no fun if he suddenly changed plans.

This was a nice change in pace, regardless, though Noez realized he'd never want to indulge a human's primitive urges ever, even if nature calls him towards it. He'd just call the authorities and accuse the tempting individual with sexual harassment. And everything would be a done deal.

His heels slid noiselessly down the intricately decorated hallways as he made his exit, and ever so often, he met the all-seeing eyes of Mr. Wershtire's bodyguards, and he'd give them a pleasing smile, one that stretched further into menace as a frenzy erupted within the household, the sounds coming from the room that he previously left.

When the guards would come looking for him down the halls, he'd be gone, slipping himself into the shadows and retreating back to his client to claim his reward.

His client was in fact, a handsome farmer boy, one who'd only inherit his father's plot of land in the outskirts of Beanstalk Village, though his personality and his appearance were none the less, and he'd be sure that he had many a maidens falling for his charms, if not for his status. He did not look like someone who fell victim to the sickening spores of envy, and Noez merely passed the incident as the work of demons, once again, as the flustered man gave him a shy, crooked smile. His fingers were shaking as he handed him the bags of jewels, the item making small tinkling noises as it was passed from one sweaty hand to another.

He scratched one blushing cheek as his gaze shifted to his shoes. "A-ah...so you're...well...anyway, I'm Johnny Carlston...and um...thank you, for your...help. I really do love Juliette, but I just don't think that man deserves him, so..I'm eternally in debt to you."

The young conqueror furrowed his brow at him, and clicked his tongue as he pulled his collar down, leveling his sight as he, in a clear commanding voice, expressed what would happen after.

"Later, you are to woo your beloved with this." he produced the ungodly reference book of sexual pleasure from his pockets, when he had gotten hold of it would remain a mystery, but he managed to slip it in his pockets minutes after he lathered the flowers in poison. "This belongs to Mr. Wershtire, it has his name inscribed at the last page. Tell her that her future husband was meaning to reduce her into an object of pleasure, only then would you profess your love and give her an offer to live in the village. You leave before morning, the authorities will be looking for Miss Avenues when the morrow comes."

His voice hesitated for a moment before it rumbled again. "This is what you sow, now you must learn to accept what you reap. Leave with her, and protect the girl with your life, because the Wershtires will be after her head."

Noez paused for a breath, letting the man's collar slip from his fingers, his body tumbling to the floor in panic. Royal blue eyes were open wide as they sought to seek solace in the little boy's pale green ones, but he found none. They were lusterless emeralds that appeared hollow and forlorn.

"I do not wish to spare you. However, I do not wish to kill you, either. I have deemed your judgement fit to be dealt here, in the living world. Remember your actions from this day forth, else I might turn back on my word." he huffed, his voice unnaturally low, nearly reaching the octaves of a fully grown adult.

He took one last pitiful glance at his client as he retreated, carving his face of regret deep into his memories. Noez would probably gain a reputation with this incident, they'd mutilate him unless he had an army that could take down all the men with a grudge against him. So it'd be best to never set foot in Cedar until then.

Shame, though, he'll miss the free ice cream more than anything.
