    Holy fire burns again
the magic circle is all around it, burning like the innocence of love

Fairy Tail, home of the notable Lightning Dragon Slayer and many of his followers, all of whom hold a high place in the Slayer's heart. A peaceful guild in the center of Magnolia, driven by the motto, "guide young men who have lost their way back onto the right path." The place where people came and went, finding (or losing) their ways in life, making and losing friends and families. . . An organization in which Kanix could truly call her home, for having accepted a dark mage, such as herself, into it. Yet where a dark mage left the evilness of the world behind, one would quickly replace their footsteps with their own. One such mage happened to be a member of the guild, itself, resulting in a disruptive lifestyle as a member of Fairy Tail. Nothing had been done about this mage, which quickly gained the attention of the Magic Council in that Fairy Tail was harboring a fugitive.

With Heero's whereabouts unknown since the reveal of his soon-to-be son or daughter, it was brought upon the Aces to lead the guild. Aces who were neither ready nor viable to lead such a large guild quite yet or had the welcoming prowess to do so. Among those things, not a single mage alone had the capability to kick out a member of the guild, except for the guild master. In the event that a member had to be kicked out, it was the duty of the guild master to do as such, but what would happen if no guild master was around? Should no guild master be around at the time of decision, the guild could gather together and decide as a whole. Since nothing had been done of said mage, and Heero was nowhere to be seen in order to handle the situation, Kanix took it upon herself. She did not want to see the guild she called home stripped of its legal title simply because of a measly mage in its ranks.

The guild Ace stepped up onto one of the tables' benches, then onto the table, itself, standing proudly over the large crowd of Fairy Tail members. "Fairy Tail!" the blind mage shouted into the hall, "give me your undivided attention for an important matter must be brought into light." Her single eye stared seamlessly into the space around her as she waited for the members of Fairy Tail to gather closer. Once all members had settled down and gave her their undivided attention, she paced the length of the wooden table. Each clack of her staff resounded into the air and ticked like a count down to the last second of an important date. She breathed in deeply, then spun on her heels to face a random direction, all of which were occupied by mages.

"As all of you know, there is a mage among us who no longer belongs; a mage who should be reprimanded for the actions she has chosen to take. A legal mage should know that it is their duty to protect the lives of the innocent and to uphold justice as a whole. To break a single principle of a legal mage comes with a price. . . a price that affects all mages of their residing guild. It has come to my attention that this mage has not been dealt with by our guild master and as such, it has fallen upon us to decide her fate. Lucie has fallen to the deeds of a dark mage and has become a Coming Storm as listed by the Magic Council. With no action from the guild master as what to do about her, Fairy Tail has now been given five days to decide her fate or face becoming dark!" she informed the guild. "Input from every mage is not required, but will at least be heard on the matter, so it is up to us now, do we go dark or do we kick Lucie out?"

Silence followed after the mini speech that Kanix had given them, and she stood there, waiting for the first of them to speak.

Apollo was sitting at the bar reading when Kanix was standing on a table calling attention.  Apollo wondered what the problem could be so he set his book down and turn looking at her as she spoke. But what would befall next he didn't want to believe.  She started talking about how Fairy Tail was harboring a criminal that if they didn't deal with they would become labeled a dark guild.  Apollo blinked for a moment not believing what he was hearing how could this have happened his home,  his family was in danger of becoming dark and he didn't know...some ace he was.  He then stood up appearing calm and collected but in his head a storm was raging a mixture if regret, sadness, anger , and confusion raged on as he looked at his blind guild mate.  He then started to walk over near the table she was standing on and looked at her.  She stood above all others as she spoke,  then a chilling silence came about the guild hall Apollo didn't know what to make of this other then thinking how he failed the guild,  but for now he would help fix his mistake after that, after that he will see what happens.

Apollo would then speak up.  "Well i'll be the first to speak up about this..."  he said calming down a little "We need to deal with this problem now we can't go dark...It isn't fair to the guild that one person that we didn't know was a fugitive till now managed to slip through the cracks and taint our guild,  the answer should be obvious we need to ban together and protect our home...we need to turn in this mage and do what is expected of us as a legal guild"  He said looking around the guild hall seeing other people around then looked at Kanix pulling up a view screen using his archiving magic.   "Thank you for bringing this to our attention Though Heero isn't here we need to step up and make a call."  He would say looking back towards the guild projecting a massive screen to the guild so any new information or relevant note that people made could be seen by the whole guild this way even if they didn't want to speak they could at least be informed.  Apollo would then make it record an relevant data and then sighed.  "you all have my opion however we as a guild need to decide as a group since our Guild master isn't here so anyone who wishes to speak please do so,"  he would say leaving out the calm part seeing as how some people could be mad or confused but the least he could do is help his fellow ace figure out a decision before he went and figured his out.  The air was still thick with silence as people put together what to do but he had to focus less on his emotions and more for the guild even though he wanted to act on his emotions so much right now it wouldn't be fair to anyone else especially himself.

To the outsider, nothing out of the ordinary was happening within the Fairy Tail Guild Hall, it was as chaotic and bustling as usual. And to some extent, everything was normal, because regardless of the circumstances, Fairy Tail Mages will always drink. A lot. But the elephant was still in the room, the arguments and brawling that were all in good fun were just shrouds to hide true feelings, everyone was tense. Everyone was worried. A Coming Storm had made their way into Fairy Tail, and that presented problems... Magnolia's pride and joy could very well soon be chalked up to a Dark Guild, forgotten-- no, shunned by the public, but relentlessly hunted by the Magic Council. The few Mages in the Guild Hall who were still sober seemed even more tense than the drunken ones, and Brennan was among the former. Being a bartender could suck.

To top things off, Fairy Tail's Guild Master and most powerful mage had gone missing in action, not long after he had announced to the Guild that he and Alyia, another powerful mage in the guild, were having a child. The lack of Heero amplified the tension tenfold, without their Guild Master, their leader, to make the decision of what would happen to the Coming Storm... Fairy Tail would be labeled a Dark Guild is only five days time, less than a week. Such little time to discuss such a massive decision and come to an agreement... It seemed unjust. Surely the organization that was responsible for upholding peace and order in all of Fiore would allow a day's leeway, perhaps even just a few hour's leeway for such an astronomically important decision to be made... But apparently not. The mages of Fairy Tail were expected to make a decision and never look back, never wonder what had happened if they had maybe, just maybe, made the other choice... They had to hold fast, Fairy Tail was facing an obstacle, but it was nothing they couldn't overcome. If they could repel a clans of werewolves, prove themselves to be worthy of Heaven itself, and take down guilds capable of destroying entire islands, then surely the members of Fairy Tail could make an educated decision.

Brennan's eyes flitted around, examining his surroundings for anyone capable of starting a discussion, anyone who wasn't so drunk that every third step they took was into a nearby wall. Brennan's eyes fell upon Kanix, an Ace who was roughly as powerful as he was, and surprisingly enough, not drunk. Not that she was an alcoholic, it was just hard not to be drunk in the Fairy Tail Guild Hall. Though he didn't know her well, Brennan could tell that Kanix intended to do something about the Coming Storm... Though he never could have anticipated how soon she would decide to take action. A mere second after Brennan took his eyes off of the blind woman, she stepped onto one of the Guild Hall's wooden table, calling for everyone's attention. Her voice boomed with confidence, so much so that even the drunks stopped their bickering to stare at her as she paced along the wooden table. She explained the Guild's predicament with powerful words, ending her monologue with a request for input from other members of the Guild.

Brennan was not about to stand idly by and watch the decision be made, he was going to speak his mind, regardless of whether or not the words stung. However, his dear friend Apollo managed to speak up before him. Apollo said they needed to get rid of the dark mage, which was a noble view, and was something that Brennan had grown to expect from Apollo. The man had a strong feeling that justice needed to be upheld, and an even stronger feeling that he needed to protect those dear to him. At least, that was what Brennan had gathered from Apollo's personality when he was on a job with him.

Apollo's view was a valid one, and was likely what would end up happening, but Brennan wanted to get his opinion in the air. Though struggling in the process, he managed to clamber onto the bar, clearing his throat to call everyone's attention. When no one seemed to listen, he chimed in, "I have something to say."He hasn't screamed it or anything, he'd just used a firm tone. After all, Kanix's words had chilled the Guild into silence with the exception of the occasional whisper. Most people's eyes shifted from the pacing Kanix to the standing Brennan as he called their attention, longing to know what the other Ace had to say about the subject. "We are a family." He stated simply, his voice even firmer than it had been when he had called everyon'e attention.

"Each and every one of us knew that when we joined Fairy Tail. We are a family. And families stick together, regardless of their differences." He hopped off of the bar and began to pace around the Guild Hall as he talked. "Will we abandon our family for our own safety? Will we feed Lucie to the metaphorical wolves just to let us get away? Perhaps we will. Perhaps we should. In all honesty, I don't know what we should do. All I know is that we are a family. And families are supposed to stick together, through thick and thin." His voice remained steady throughout his entire monologue, not once in the entire speech had he felt even the least bit unsure of his words. As he finished his last sentence, he sat down at the nearest wooden table, waiting for someone else to give their opinion.

Zecarayus oddly enough was at the guild hall today among it's members, but truth be told he already had fore-warning of what kanix was talking about. In a seance he did, he had visions of fairy tail being swallowed in darkness, and seeing it crumble under the weight that the shadows brought. He had it yesterday night, and so today he made his way to the guild to see if he could figure out what was wrong. And it just so happened that one of the guild aces had gave a mini speech today. He knew the ace for it was kanix, and while he did not trust her personally he knew she was talking about the threat he saw the warning of the night before. He stood near one of the tables listening to kanix's speech before she asked the rest of the guild about what to do of this.

Silence followed, apollo then spoke up. Zecarayus never realized he was a guild ace, but then again he never asked apollo about it. He then saw apollo create a screen, putting in his thoughts on the situation and asked for the help of everyone else. Silence followed after apollo talked and then another spoke, a mage that zecarayus had never seen around before(of course zecarayus did not know everyone in the guild so this was to be expected). He wanted to throw in the thought that everyone was family here, and zecarayus realized he did not want to turn in or punish this lucie since she was still part of the guild, at least not right away. That made zecarayus think of his family, and while he knew they would agree with what the mage said he himself did not.

Zecarayus stood from one of the tables located on the left in the middle and spoke, directed at brenan, "Understand that yes, as family we should stick through thick and thin, but if one of us brings trouble to the guild then they should accept the consequences. Otherwise the rest of us are forced to deal with it as of now, and I don't think true family would try to hurt each other." He then sighed and looked down for a moment, he knew that if this was not taken care of, then the guild could be heading toward tragedy. He then spoke again, toward everyone else, "I think we need to find this lucie and capture her first and foremost. From there we can make the next move since I think we should find out how and why she became a coming storm, and if she actually intends to hurt the guild or not. I...I guess if everyone can agree with that, then we should go through with it." he was finished and stayed standing awaiting what the others would say as the murmuring of mages drunk and sober could be heard.

I Would Rather Die Standing Than Live On My Knees! [Guild Meeting] Empty Re: I Would Rather Die Standing Than Live On My Knees! [Guild Meeting]

Post by Hana Akki Sun 26 Jun 2016 - 23:11

Hana had been no exception when it came to being tense. Everybody was, and as it usually was Hana, now everybody shared an emotion of mixed feelings. Feelings that had been negative. The situation at hand hadn't been the worst that the young silvernette had seen, but it was surely a saddening nuisance. What the guild had thought to be a friend, turned out to be a coming storm, and enemy, somebody who had the potential to convert their beloved guild of light that into one of darkness and it no doubtedly depressed a lot of the members. Like always, Hana had been sitting alone in the corner, but instead of happily reading, she had been stroking the ginger fur of her raccoon companion Tamka in attempt to sooth them both. Hana was certainly on edge, worried even that their guildmaster Heero had been missing after announcing that he and Alyia were going to have a child. So many questions clouded her mind in which she had been strained with panic. Her bright and cheery expression was now that of an emotionless person's and just by the slightest touch of another person would she jump. The guild had been trying to ignore the situation by continuing to bust themselves in a huge fight and get drunk, but even then Hana knew that they couldn't turn their backs to it just like she couldn't. Soon enough, the entire guild's attention was pulled by that none other than the blind ace Kanix. Hana listened intently as it had been announced that the guild must come to a decision to decide their fate, whether they would turn Lucie in or continue to harbor her and become a dark guild. Although Apollo had made his statement really clear, it was none other than Brennan's words that truly struck a cord in her. As a result, Hana was stuck in thought on what her own opinion would be, and as soon as she had come to a conclusion, she had decided to speak up herself. After setting Tamka down on the seat, she herself began to climb the table so that everybody may see her since she was really short. Normally, nervousness would've overtaken her petite figure, but in a situation such as this, she was strangely able to remain composed, and a stern look very much like Brennan's glued itself onto her face, her voice matching it perfectly. "I'll admit... Brennan had made a pretty good point in saying that we were family.... however... that left me thinking. 'She may be family to us, but what are we to her?' It's pretty messed up... but this is the reality of it. Everybody has their different views and opinions on a person, so how does she view us? I can't say so for sure but I don't think it's family... let alone friends due to the fact that she was willing to sacrifice this guild for her own deeds. I hate that some of us had to come to this decision, let alone myself... but I think we should turn her in. It's not right to let many people take the fall just for one person, no matter how irreplaceable they are. We were not built up to be dark and I believe that Fairy Tail would be better off remaining legal." As she finished sharing her thoughts and opinion with everybody, she took on more glance at the Guildhall before sitting back down to allow the next person to speak.

I Would Rather Die Standing Than Live On My Knees! [Guild Meeting] Empty Re: I Would Rather Die Standing Than Live On My Knees! [Guild Meeting]

    Post by Kaylin Sun 26 Jun 2016 - 23:21

Kaylin had been doing a puzzle at one of the tables when Kanix had stepped on top of a table, and began to spoke. She to Kanix herself, and then her guild members around her. For every person that thought we needed to leave her and be done with it there seemed to be one person that proposed another idea, or state how the guild was made to work. Kaylin sat for a moment trying to put together her opinion. ~ Like someone else said out guild is supposed to work as a family. I don't think we'll have time to capture her though.~ Kaylin sat for a moment more as she began to fit together what she thought should happen, and eventually came up with her opinion.

Kaylin let her fellow guild members speak. She then stood up from her table, and directed her question toward Zecarayus. "Well even though that may be a good idea at first thought you need to think about it more. Who's to say we don't find her within the five day waiting time. Then we wouldn't have accomplished anything. I think Brennan may have had a point. Our guild was built around being like a family. We're supposed to help the lost, and pull them back. We're supposed to help our guild members. Not kick them out at the slightest sign of betrayal. Even if Lucia did mean to do harm whenever she did what she did, as her guild we aren't supposed to help her realize her wrong ways?" Kaylin hesitaited for a moment and then continued. " I think we should search for her, but if that's unsuccessful, then well we become dark I suppose. As I've already stated many times though, our guild was built around being a family, and in a family we should be willing to risk things to help each other out. I agree with Brennan. I think we should stick with Lucie. Even if she doesn't take us seriously as her guild, and family. We still could help her be a better person before the magic council just locks her away."

She stood a moment more and tried to think of reassurance if the did turn dark. "Even if we do turn dark, so what? We're not going dark for traditional reasons.  If we do, we know we're dark for all the right reasons. In fact I say we're no better than regular dark guilds if we'd so easily abandon a guild mate."
Kaylin stood for a minute more just to look around at the reaction on her guild mates faces about what she had said, and then sat back down. She didn't know what was going to happen, but she knew she wanted Lucie to stay. She joined a guild that was supposed to be like a family, and she wanted it to stick true to it's self. Kaylins face was extremely serious, unlike her regular joyful face. She pushed away her feelings about possibly being a dark guild, and was only focused on what she thought what was morally right.

    GRACE UNDER FIRE
Now, what was a 'normal' day in Fairy Tail? From a new comer's point of view, there wasn't really much normal in the rowdiest wizard's guild, was there? And that was what Sorano once thought, dodging unidentifiable objects and shutting out the raucous yelling everywhere. Could there be any place in the world this noisy, rowdy, and, well, disorganized? Such a place was once foreign to her, unwelcoming and unfriendly. Looking back, she would realize how far she had come from that timid twelve year old girl who barely avoided being hit in the face by a chair on her first day at the guild. Now, she would skillfully weave through the crowd, slamming a giant dictionary with four different languages into the faces of the drunks while dodging any flying objects with a practiced ease. Had it really been a year already? It had passed by astonishingly fast for the letter mage, but as she thought about it, things had changed. A lot.

Having had three guildmasters as her own in Fairy Tail over her time here, she'd been here for quite a long while. Long enough to find a place she belonged here, a teenaged bookworm among a crowd of drunks. Now, as she wove through the crowd, trying to find Hoshi, she heard a familiar booming voice echo over the crowd. Glancing up with remarkably plain brown eyes, she noticed the familiar figure of Kanix Laspor, one of the members who proved what a variety of people the guild held. Having once been a dark mage, Heero had brought the shamaness around to the legal side of things and she was now an ace of the guild.

However, what she reported was certainly news to the younger mage, news she had somewhat anticipated but surprised her nevertheless. A Coming Storm? In Fairy Tail? Sorano bit her lip slightly, glancing around the guild. She had noticed an odd aura ever now and then, but had disregarded it because of the low magical power it possessed. Who was it? Was he or she here now? She could feel the rustling of other guild members besides her whispering as well, everyone shocked. Well, at least Kanix was one of the few mages here clear-minded enough to help lead everyone to a logical solution. Sorano began thinking, listening carefully to everyone's responses.

Apollo spoke first, very much against going to dark. It made sense, seeing how Apollo was very kind guy who wouldn't want Fairy Tail to turn dark. Even so, Sorano felt something wasn't quite right with making such a fast decision. And the matter with Heero... Their guildmaster hadn't been around for a while, she realized, not after he made that announcement about the baby. Then, Brennan stepped up, stating his own opinion. The way the flat mage acted was much different from his brother's, much more calm and controlled. Of course... she had seen the mage when he wasn't in control... Things hadn't been pretty, that was for sure. He was with keeping Lucie on, due to Fairy Tail's core principle of family. It made sense as well, though it did seem rather reckless.

Zecarayus cast in a much more cautious opinion, one Sorano agreed with a bit more. She honestly had never met Lucie personally, though she had sighted the younger girl occasionally around the hall. The way she had a sort of double aura... it would have spooked the emotionless girl had she had emotions. Next, her teammate Hana stood up, stating her own opinion. Hers was very well put, and rather serious for Hana. It was a serious situation though, so things made sense. Who knew how Lucie felt about them? A newer mage Sorano didn't know well shared her own idea about bringing Lucie to the light side. All good opinions, an the letter mage d like how everyone was suddenly turning democratic... it did creep her out a bit though.

Deciding to speak up herself, Sorano pushed up to the front, dictionary hefted in one hand. "I do like Zecarayus' more cautious stand on the topic," she began, raising her voice and putting a but of letter magic into them in order to draw people's attention, "This isn't something we can charge right into as usual. Fist of all, I believe the most important thing is learning Lucie-san's exact situation. Is she doing this for some reason we could help her with? Killing in order to help someone is different than killing with malicious intent, after all. What if she was threatened? We may be able to help her. Of course, if she truly does have a dark purpose here, as Akki-san has suggested, things would become much more muddled. If this was so, we still may be able to find a way to bring her to the legal side, or at least stop her killing. We are a legal guild, after all. Shouldn't our aim be to eliminate dark mages? As those within this guild do not kill, the best way would be to try and turn them, right?

"I'm certain that this can be done. After all, there are some in this guild who once performed actions that are associated with darkness and those who favored the illegal in the past. Myself included. Most importantly, we must understand this Lucie-san's situation. That, in my mind, is the most important part."
Finishing, Sorano bowed her head slightly, and stepped back, her words said. She was actually eager, for once, to see what others had to share. Another part of her was worried. If they did turn illegal, what would be of that promise we made? The one made to take responsibility. The one made to Anna, to Hoshi, to all those on the mountain, to her family, to herself. Would she be breaking it?

Post by Julius Seas Mon 27 Jun 2016 - 5:22

Dark clouds began appear above the town of Magnolia not soon after it began to rain. Drip drip drop... Hmmm this rain feels different... This rain isn't any normal rain... It feels dark... As if something might happen... But what? Julius felt a dark pressure in the rain, not that the rain might be a sign of a attack from someone or something. Julius left Squabble at home  he wasn't feeling very well so Julius decided to let him rest. He was on his way towards the guild hall since Julius hasn't been around the guild for some time. Normally Julius would ran towards the guild at light speed but every step Julius took he felt more unease. *sigh* Come on Julius! Nothing bad is going to happen! Julius wiped away some rain from his face and continued walking.

When Julius was finally at the guild hall though he was completely soaked by the rain. He dried himself off using his water magic and walked inside. Normally Julius would see a happy and eager guild  but for some reason everyone was a bit down it was almost depressing. Julius remained optimistic and walked around with a smile on his face. He went to the bar and sat down at one of the chairs and ordered a glass of water he grabbed the glass and looked behind him as soon as he saw Kanix one of the guild aces stand on a table. She held a speech stating that one of their guild mates had turned into a coming a storm and if she wouldn't get kicked out the magic council would turn Fairy Tail in a dark guild.

Something inside Julius snapped. Though he didn't show it he was enraged. He squeezed into the glass he was holding. He squeezed even so hard that the glass broke. Many people started to give their opinions even Hana and Sorano gave their opinions. Julius didn't know what to say he was very conflicted. He wanted to that Lucie would leave the guild since she would drag people along with her who had nothing to do with it. But at the same time he wanted to hear her side of the story. Julius remained silent he walked towards a table and stood on it. How about we search for Lucie-chan 4 days so that we at least give her a chance to explain herself... But if she doesn't show up by then we can safely assume she abandoned us and that we will abandon her to... Julius was trembling he wanted to scream and say that she has to leave with a warning but he also knew that he wasn't going to make any friends if he was going to throw a tantrum.

    Post by Raven Mon 27 Jun 2016 - 9:48

    Lucie • Fairy Tail • D Rank

    They knew.

That was all there was to it. By either word of the magic council, her face on the wanted papers, or by general fearful word of mouth, they had learned of what she was. She was an evil wizard, a murderer, a criminal, a dark mage... a Coming Storm.

    And she hated it.

How could she tell that to them, though? Her physical body was unable to speak, literally. It had been Ren, the malevolent spirit that had been with her all her life, that made her do the immoral things she did. He was alright with shedding innocent blood, and despite their guild and general human society being against it. Even the young girl was disgusted and revolted by the blood he made her spill, but what could she do about it? Absolutely nothing. It wasn't like she had known anything different. What was freedom? She had it... right? It was a public concept, but when it came right down to it, she had no such thing. Did Lucie mind? Of course not.

This was only natural. She had not known any different.

Come this meeting, held by Kanix, Lucie listened in. For once, she was not out on some job to be 'trained' by Ren. And if she did not do what he said, or kill, he would take over completely in his possession and take care of the job himself. What was the punishment for falling out of line? Lack of free will was not enough. Ren found ways to hurt her, to almost 'physically' traumatize her spirit or body. That, or he would get his sister, Annazima, to torture her and deal some damage. Thankfully, she had not seen the evil little Bakeneko for some time, but the effects of what she did remained as permanent scars. Her body could heal all of the damage, but her mind and soul would fail. She was terrified.

What would Fairy Tail do now that they knew? Hurt her?
Lucie moved closer to the crowd to listen to Kanix, and upon hearing her out completely, along with everyone else, the small child began trembling. Where was Ren now? Why was he not here to deal with that? Did he just want to see her emotionally suffer, and take the blame for what he did? She had no idea that now Fairy Tail would be turned into a dark guild based on Ren... no... her actions. This was a 'family', they said. It was that... yet why did it hurt so much?

Lucie did not want to hurt them. Moving away from the crowd, the tiny girl found allowed her crimson eyes to fall on a wooden table in the guildhall. Stressed out enough, Lucie made her way under that table and buried her face into her knees and arms as she brought them closer. The silver-haired girl was physically shaking, and trying to prevent the stream of tears that was fighting its way to flow out. She had hurt her 'family', and what would they do now? Would they hurt her like everybody else? It was only natural, in the logic she had been taught by Ren. If someone hurts you, you hurt them. It was balance. Yet because of that, she had a reason to fear.

Still trembling, Lucie unconsciously began to lock out the other voices and opinions. She did not want to hear them, or hear of what her fate would be. She locked out the other voices and tried to desperately reach out and listen for Ren's... but there was nothing. Silence, and her coming demise, surely. Could she stop? Oh, she wished she could. She did not want to be a Coming Storm. However, she was too far gone. Ren had brought her to this point, and he would not stop. What were his reasons for doing this? If only she could figure it out...

    Why?

Post by The Imp Mon 27 Jun 2016 - 11:59

The Imp had heard shouting and had gotten scared. Until just moments ago it had been hiding under a table, listening, and waiting for the yelling to stop. However eventually it had heard enough and decided to join in on the yelling itself. It slid out from under the table while on the opposite end at the same time Lucie started to crawl under it in such a way that neither person would see the other. The Imp jumped on top of the table and yelled in its squeaky voice, "Hey! Fairy Tail is Fairy Tail is Fairy Tail!" It jumped up and down feverishly, "She joined she's one of us! She just needs to stop being evil and everything will be fine! Right?"

As a final note it looked at Sorano across the room, "Also! There's no such thing as a situation we can't just wildly charge into!"

    Holy fire burns again
the magic circle is all around it, burning like the innocence of love

When the dead of silence had become too impending to the mages that sat listening to the forthright shamaness, murmurs arose. Mages glanced to one another in wariness, whispering in ears or hushed voices over the matter Kanix had presented. All the while, her mind was racing as these mages spoke, alerting her to all of the possible answers that each mage could give. It was a taxing ability on her mind, but it was something that allowed her to think of counters to each and every one. Men who would claim that the guild was a family, women who would claim very nearly the same, but more logical. One who would state that even though family was important, it was the guild that came first and foremost. Many of their thoughts and answers were alike, all things that Kanix could agree with, though also disagree with.

She was ever immovable, standing stick straight where she stood on the table, still awaiting the answer of a bold magus. As that time came around, where she believed no mage would stand up for their rights, she very nearly turned away from the matter. With as crucial of a situation as this was, she would not have her mages standing idly by with no say in it. However, just as she moving to get down from the wooden table, a fellow Ace stood from the crowd and called out to her. Kanix paused in her tracks and listened to the man's words, but she did not recognize who this man was at first. It was only when he stated his blatant opinion of kicking Lucie out with the idea of keeping the guild, as a whole, safe. A smirk splayed across her luscious lips and she spun back on her right heel to face the Ace who had spoken.

"Oh, Apollo, you hold this guild so dearly to your heart, I would no doubt believe you wish to banish her," the shamaness cooed lovingly. "She is a member of this guild just as much as we are, but have you thought, my fellow Ace, of her being family? Do you not recall how this guild is sold on the basis that we are one large family, meant to keep each other's backs? It is a great choice to simply kick her out, the easiest one for that matter, and I do not disagree with it, but listen well to your guild-mates." Kanix extended the hand holding her staff outward and swept it across the crowd to motion Apollo to them. "Neither will I disagree with their opinions, yet it is best that we see what other alternatives there are. You must remember, Lucie is, but, a child, we must take into consideration her feelings as well with this matter."

As she finished speaking to Apollo, it just so happened that the next magus to stand their stand was none other than the mage who proctored her exam. Bringing her staff back to her side, the blind woman shifted on her feet to face partially toward the bartender. Her head nodded slowly as she listened to the opinion he gave out, the smirk never fading from her lips. "Brennan, you are a highly revered mage here, to see that this guild is a family is not wrong in anyway," she retorted to him. "In fact, that is the most common viewpoint of an ace of this truly beloved guild in Fiore, yet it corrupts you in a way. As I previously stated, we are only given five days' time to make our decision of what to do about Lucie and her actions. Do you think that is a long enough time to exorcise whatever demon it is residing inside her that caused her to do those corrupt things? My magic is holy, but it is not powerful enough to bring forth the assailing demon that has corrupted our member."

Kanix breathed in deeply, then turned to fully face the younger mage, the smirk fading away from her lips. "Trust me, I see it in the guild everyday since I've joined here that we see each other as brothers and sisters, lovers and friends. If there was any other option out there that was quicker than trying to scold her and make her good again, I'd take to it. But when it comes to crucial decisions for the guild, you must understand that what is good for us as a whole is not good for some. We cannot accommodate to every mage in this guild, see to it that every mage is satisfactory and happy in their lives. . . Brennan, if you had to choose for yourself the difference of the guild as a whole or a single mage's life, what would you do? Would you forfeit the lives of many for the life of one or would you forfeit the life of one to save many?"

With Zecarayus speaking up, Kanix whirled on her feet to look at him, giving the necromancer a small, appreciative smile. "You are correct, those who cause harm to what is considered a family to them should face the consequences of their wrongdoings," she repeated. When Zeca brought up capturing and bringing Lucie to the guild meeting, the smile went away and she sighed. "I have a feeling that Lucie is already among the crowd, and that she is not happy with what she is hearing. After all, she is just a young child, she does not fully understand what is going on and maybe not even with what's going on with her. Who knows why she slaughtered all of those people and we do not know if it was of her own will or against it. Find her here in the crowd and we will talk to her, but do not expect her to answer truthfully or at all."

Hana was the next to speak, keeping the pregnant magus on her feet and trying to refute answers to each opinion. "There is nothing wrong with turning her in and like Apollo, I do mildly agree with turning her into the Rune Knights. However, how many mages in here do you think purposefully kill, but are under the radar by mass killers, such as Lucie? Should they not be reprimanded as well for the wrongdoings they have done, the lack of reason behind innocents' deaths? Many would claim it was out of self defense, could Lucie not claim that stance as well or would you deny her that right?" Kanix tilted her head a little, sightless eye staring quizzically at the young dragon slayer, then turned away from her. Her attention brought to a quiet girl that she had not heard before, nor knew existed in the guild until now.

"Mind you, little one, this guild was built on the ideals of a legal guild, how do you think we, as legal mages, would fair as dark mages? There are not many of us, in fact, there are only two as I am aware of, that have had dark guild pasts. I am one of those mages who faced living a terrible life as a dark mage, do you think I want to go back to that? This guild is my home, to have it turned dark on me because of one measly mage's inability to see the right from wrong, I will not allow that. Not to mention, Fairy Tail is mortal enemies with Basilisk Fang because of what Heero has done and the traitorous nature of myself. By us becoming dark in order to stick with Lucie, we place ourselves in the territory of the damned for all to bear witness to our demise. Neither do I want this guild disbanded, for without it, I would lose my way and likely, many other would, too," Kanix harshly stated to Kaylin.

Sorano uttered the words that sent a shudder down Kanix's spine at the thought of what if Lucie couldn't say anything? "You're right, we don't know if she sees us truly as family or what her intentions were when she was out killing. Agreeing with Sorano, we should, most definitely, listen to Lucie's side of the story, but what if she cannot tell it? What if she is held bound by some entity or person who is threatening her life that if she tells she will not live?" She quirked an eyebrow at Sorano, not out of belief that Sorano's opinion would not benefit for the most part, but rather curiosity. "In the event that Lucie is not able to voice her story, then what are we to do about her, disregard her entirely? While it's a great idea, I just don't see it happening, especially considering she's a Coming Storm, why would she reveal her intentions?"

Julius's arrival brought Kanix's attention to him as he sat where he was and voiced his opinion on the matter. "Four days is too long to go looking for her, even if she is within the guild premises, we would run out of time by then. We run out of time, we have no choice of going dark and who knows if the Magic Council would let is back as legal," she quickly countered. "Again, I bring up the 'what if', what if Lucie is not able to explain herself? She could be mute, deaf, or held against her will. There is no better way to go about this than to simply kick her out of the guild for our safety; she'll be fine on her own. After all, if she was able to live under our noses this long as a Coming Storm, do you think the Magic Council would easily catch her? And the worst thing that would happen to her is that she's thrown into a dungeon and cared for for the rest of her life."

And now. . . there was an annoying imp rampaging about, claiming that family was all that mattered at this point. "No, none of you will understand the mindset of a dark mage without having been one, yourself," Kanix began, frowning as she spoke to them. "Once a mage starts killing, it is extremely hard for them to break that habit that has been ingrained into their head. Even today, I still struggle with not killing the bandits and criminals, but I have been slowly breaking that reflex. It would take us far too long to get Lucie back the way she was before she started senselessly slaughtering these innocents. Do any of you believe that we can do this in less than four days?" Her blind gaze hardened and the frown deepened. She believed in them, that they could revert Lucie back to being legal, but not in the short amount time they had.

In the short amount of time that had spanned from her answering each of the individual mages, Lucie would make her way under a table. Kanix was fully aware of this, having sensed her when she had come out of the crowd to listen to her speech. Yet, she had kept it to herself and let the little girl run off to wherever it was that she wanted to hide from them all. Now that her counters had been brought to light, Kanix lowered herself to a seated position, so that she could see under the tables. "Lucie, please come out from under the table," the single-eyed woman called to the fearful child from under Imp's table. "None of us are going to hurt you, and I'd be damned if I let any of my members lay a wrong hand on you." The blind shamaness would pat the empty space to her left, trying to coax the young girl from out under the table.

"You can come sit by me and I'll ward off any of the big, bad bullies who want to hurt you for being what you are." She stopped patting the empty space next to her and placed her hands in her lap, letting her staff rest on her right. "Do you think you can tell us why you were killing all of those innocent people? I'm sure Apollo, or someone who's capable, would be willing to help tell your story."

I Would Rather Die Standing Than Live On My Knees! [Guild Meeting] Empty Re: I Would Rather Die Standing Than Live On My Knees! [Guild Meeting]

Post by Mura Kensho Mon 27 Jun 2016 - 17:00

Steps on puddles could be heard outside at the roads of Magnolia, coming from the figure that appeared to be the only one outside right now. He moved his gaze around the buildings, every single corner was under his notices, along with the samurai spirit that followed him. "Hah... I shouldn't arrive later than already," he mumbled with a grudge against himself, letting Kyuken hear it only, "Hmpf... that's what we get for living in the outskirts, am I right?" The samurai would slowly nod, having a very anxious look on his face. It was more nervous than his usual, cocky attitudes, and even made Mura question his appearance. "... Hey, Kyuken," he quickly asked his fellow, already well-aware of the weird atmosphere around the auric being, "Your face tells me that something bothers you... what's wrong, pal?" The samurai would slowly move his gaze at Mura, telling: "Well, the meeting sounded quite important... perhaps someone had left this world? Or we're having a war?" Honestly, he gave many other suggestions plus these two, "Back at my days, it was quite easy to sense if something anxious was apparent in a meeting's subject. Also..." While he began blabbering about that, Mura took a deep breath and focused around the atmosphere, slowly considering Kyuken's strange theories to make sense today... Something was going on. He could just feel it.

He finally arrived before the giant door to the guild hall, shaking rain drops off his jacket. He took another, large breath and prepared his mind for the most likely important meeting, and the first guild meeting in his life. "... Alright, let's see what's going on today," he spoke to himself, opening the grand door. Inside was... a lot more filled than usual; not that it wans't that filled other days, but literally almost everyone were here, including familiar faces and new faces. "..." He kept his mouth shut, facing everyone with a true, blank face, quickly moving his gaze around. What he focused on first was his guild mate Kanix, who was speaking to a little girl beneath a table. He could already tell that this might've had to do with the subject, one way or another. However, something else shocked him as soon as his eyes rested on the young lady; it wasn't apparent on his already prepared, calm face, but he recognized her from some wanted papers outside. Apparently, she was a Coming Storm, which wasn't what surprised him; she was in his guild, too. He was confused, that was sure, but that was mainly due to all this hitting his head like a bat. On top of that, something else had its presence near her. Even if it was mere remains, something was visible close to her, something not among this guild's usual atmosphere. He just had to be late, didn't he...

"So she's the one..." he spoke, slowly walking towards the girl that was hiding under the tables. At least, he'd heard what Kanix said when he entered the door, so he could feel that she wanted to help this guild mate with whatever problem that she had; whether if someone was hurting her, or if she was possessed, or if something third was upon her. "... You don't have to hide anymore. You can do what Kanix asked you to," he calmly spoke to the girl, trying his best to sound as calm as possible, "I... well, we'll all try our best with whatever is going on." Still, he could sense the rests of something else beyond her own spirit, but he kept his blind eye to that. All he could do now was what his own soul told him to, and he would do that to the very end...

(OOC: Honestly, not sure if the spirit's around her, so... bear with me :I)

Post by Kit Kerrington Mon 27 Jun 2016 - 22:08

Apollo sighed as he listened to everyone else thoughts carefully.  He needed to be more open minded about things he was thinking of what would guild would be best but forgetting the base principal that the guild was built on... that we treat it's members like family.  He shook his head taking a deep breath it wasn't his place to just instantly get rid of her.  As he listened he looked up at the screen looking at everyone's  ideas,  thoughts, and opinions on the matter sighing a little still listening as he thought things through there had to be a better option then just flat out removing her from the guild and throwing her to the wolves, vs keeping her and plaguing her and the guild in darkness.  Fairy tail was built on family but true family would know what they did and take the punishment, thus saving the family.  Apollo was torn he only ever wanted what was best for his guild  but now they were torn between thoughts.  Apollo shook his head a little  closing his eyes briefly to think as people kept talking. then finally He heard Kanix tell her to come up and speak telling her no harm would come to her.  Apollo sighed still upset but nodding agreeing as she is still a member of fairy tail he still need to protect as strange as it sounds.  "i agree you will...be..safe.." he said stopping getting and idea pausing for a moment thinking about it briefly doing some calculations  while pulling up  a palm sized screen his hands moving quick his eyes darting between screens as he thought.

Okay everyone of Fairy Tail i would like you to humor me on an idea I have that may appease everyone in the room  and solve this....issue briefly." He would say pulling up a new screen collecting all of his thoughts. Okay I have an idea how to not have the guild go dark and possibly help her provided she wants the help,  if she is truly innocent then it is our duty not just as legal mages to bring the calppreate to justice but not before knocking there teeth in for messing with out family...."  he would say looking around making sure he had everyone attention.  He then started to type on the screen collecting his thoughts for people.

Alright Hear is the plan and i'll do my best to explain it thoroughly please let me know your thoughts" hes said taking a breath.  "okay so the issue is that our family member sapposivly did crimes making her a coming storm and if not dealt with Fairy Tail will be darkened.  While if she is innocent i am there to help but i feel fighting the council is just gonna lead to blood shed on both sides.  No  for this we will inform the council that we apprehended her  and that we are on our way bring her to them since she is a coming storm and she isl such a danger and we can't wait for them we will say we are sending two or three ace's with as and escort to make it seem like we are doing it.  This allows us two this first thing that this allows is Fairy Tail get to remain light and then the council will be off your guy's back.  Now this plan doesn't involve her being turned in at a point in the travel we will send her away claiming she escaped.  This will make the council focused  on us and her and while we look for her and throw the council off the trail since I can "track" her with my archiving they will be going in circles for days if not weeks.  While this is happening the rest of Fairy Tail... you would be tasked with finding out the truth clearing her name once her name is clear once you find the truth out once her name is cleared the council can't arrest her even for running away.  Lucie i want you..i want you to hide on Tenru island the place only Fairy's can go you will be safe there someone.  I myself would be leading the away team to divert them i would need one or two of the ace's with me to...provided a safe escort.  anyone left can prove her innocents the Fairy Tail way i know that is a hard task but i know the people here can do it we have dealt with harder tasks...This plan helps everyone to the best way i can think of....I'm sorry for just immediately going to banishment  but this way we can do both protect our family and guild pleas tell me your thoughts that is the short version of my idea please ask any questions"  he said putting his plan up on a screen.  His heart pounded as the room grew silent his heart pounding not knowing what his guild mates were thinking not knowing how the would react but this was the best way he could think of.  He waited looking around looking as confident as he could wanting to make sure people understood.

Hana did not once doubt the fact that her opinion on the subject had been changing as the rest of her guild had shared their thoughts, let alone Kanix replying to those thoughts and hers. As Hana was once again left to sit in thought, it wasn't on whether they should turn Lucie in or become a dark guild, but rather to continue to protect Lucie while still remaining in their desirable position. Piecing the puzzle pieces together in her head, right as she had come to an almost perfect and fair solution her attention was pulled by Apollo voicing it. She wasn't mad that she had been beaten to it, but rather she was intrigued that Apollo had been on the same track as her. Although a piece of her wanted to protect her family, she felt bad for Lucie and found it only fair that her innocence be proven and give her another chance. "Apollo,I like your idea and agree with it one-hundred percent, however, what are we to do if the magic council catches onto us? I believe it would be rational if we came up with a back-up plan that is still fair to all of us and gives us the desirable results, don't you agree?" After finishing, Hana shifted her gaze to Lucie, however, instead of holding the stern and troubled expression she had been wearing this entire time, she shot Lucie a small and pitied smile in hopes to show Lucie that it was....somewhat... okay.

"why are we even disscussing this?! Lucie is a member of this guild. I agree with Hana and Apollo, but if they make us a dark guild, so what?! I was a dark mage myself once. I did what i had to protect my family. Are you going to kick me out because I was a dark mage once? as long as I still draw breath I will defend this guild and it's members, dark or light, because that is what a family does. Any of you who would try to break this family apart rather than help Lucie should not be here. I was under the impression that this guild protected one another." The ice mage looked around at his guildmates. He only hoped they would listen.

"That is the stupidest shit I've ever heard."

No amount of marijuana could possibly diffuse Ultra's sheer frustration on the matter. Just another example of that goddamn Magic Council trying to make an example out of someone. Ol' fake-ass government. But it's not about me. It's about Ultra, and he was pissed.

He didn't relish the thought of being branded a dark mage by a bunch of glory-hounding RK's, to be hunted down like a dog or something. Especially considering that he had to relocate several million dollars of weed while everybody was talking about the subject.

His day was supposed to go normally, he woke up, took a shower, went to the guild hall, magic. Ultra had been following that routine for the better part of his life. If he could remember just when he even joined Fairy Tail....

I'll digress. If Fairy Tail were to be branded as a dark guild, it would prove to be dangerous to not only him, but a whole other lot of people within the guild. And as easy as it was to say that the Celestial Spirit was the one who caused this and should be thrown in jail or something, Ultra couldn't help but feeling she was the biggest victim of them all.

Ultra truly honestly hated to say it, but she needed to go. As much as it pained him, he needed to harden his heart to the suffering that would ensue in the coming days.

"I don't know if it's been already established, but we're technically harboring a criminal. And for as much as I'd love to say otherwise, the goddamn Council thinks so. I'm pretty sure you can realize that we can get into a whole shitload of trouble for this," He would shoot Takumi a warning glance, "Some of us don't have the most desirable pasts. And only trying to fight the matter will make those some of us look even worse."

Ultra continued on, "I think going into combat should be a last resort in this situation, no matter what. Think of it from a strategic standpoint. We're going up against Rune Knights, okay. But if we just happen to start doing our "collateral damage" shtick, there's nothing stopping the Council or the other guilds from joining up against us. We'd be looking at a guild war on our hands."

He would clap his hands together and look around the guild readily, "I'm liking Apollo's plan. Lead the Council into believing they're going to get what they want, and then the delivery "accidentally" doesn't get there. However, it depends on whether she's guilty or not. If she isn't, then it seems we're home free. But if she did in fact do what they said she did, then we're releasing a Coming Storm into the general public who's more than willing to kill again."

"One of the variables is how fast we can prove her innocence. If she's guilty, then yeah. If she's not, we're home free, it seems. The question boils down to: Are we willing to take that risk?"

    Post by Kaylin Tue 28 Jun 2016 - 13:35

Kaylin had been listening to the other plans. She really like Apollo's, but Hana had a point, it seemed almost to cliché, or unrealistic. One person getting away from two, or even three aces? It seemed like the magic council would immediantly have suspicions. It was the best plan she heard so far. It was much better than becoming dark.  She looked towards all her guildmates she didn't stand, but she did speak loudly. "What if they are immediantly suspicious, and don't let us escort her to them? What if they demand to send rune knights to come get her?" To every idea there was immediantly problems that could easily arise in it. "I don't think it would take much thought on the magic councils part to figure out our plan, and if they did figure it out, then any other plans may be hard to execute without their trust." Kaylin gradually grew quieter through out her monologue until she didn't speak at all.

She wanted to help Lucie in any way she could, but tricking the magic council would definitely not be an easy thing. She looked down towards the puzzle she had not yet finished, and started back up on it. She used the puzzle to clear her mind of the dilemma, and just tried to think of some backup plan incase this one failed. She slowly put each puzzle piece into place, and let her mind drift else were.

"what if... what if i went with her? i was dark once, the magic council could very well belive i would help her. as a former dark mage that is." Takumi sucked in a deep breath, not quite sure what he was doing. its wasnt as though he had much to lose. ryoko was missing and kyoko was dark. he had no family left anyhow.

Soon after Brennan had finished stating his own opinion, Kanix had countered with one of her own. 'Brennan, if you had to choose for yourself the difference of the guild as a whole or a single mage's life, what would you do? Would you forfeit the lives of many for the life of one or would you forfeit the life of one to save many?' He had to admit, she was going a good job leading this whole thing, and her arguments were very good, for what was perhaps the first time in his entire life, Brennan lacked a response. It was truly baffling, so he just remained sitting, he stared at the ground and fidgeted. He wanted to save Lucie, the poor little corrupted girl, but he didn't want his family to be hurt by one little girl who had made a poor decision... What to do, what to do? "I-I don't know..." Brennan said uncomfortably, "I want to help Lucie, I really do... But I don't want Fairy Tail to be hurt by one little girl who made some bad decisions..."

Brows furrowed, brain kicked into overdrive, Brennan listened intently to every single opinion that everyone voiced, and had his own critique for almost every single one of them. 'I don't think true family would try to hurt each other.' Zecarayus had said, explaining that he thought they should find Lucie first and foremost, then they should figure out her motives. If she truly planned to hurt the Guild, then they should turn her in to the Magic Council. As soon as Zecarayus began talking, Brennan began thinking, and no matter how much he talked about it, The more conflicted he became. Families should never turn on each other. Ever. Regardless if she wanted to hurt them, the closest family in all of Fiore should never turn on one of their members. If Lucie had joined Fairy Tail... Then she had joined knowing what she was getting herself into. If she had joined Fairy Tail, she had joined because she had wanted to be a part of their family. On the other hand... She could be a spy, a traitor, someone who had joined their family just to ruin them. Did she want Fairy Tail to fall apart? If she did... Then that was unforgivable. Perhaps Zecarayus was correct, so he stood up to say just that, but before he could talk, Kanix began to talk, saying that she felt that Lucie was among the crowd and that Zecarayus should try to talk to her, but he should be wary because she may not answer truthfully, or at all. "Zecarayus." He began, right after Kanix finished, staring at him with a stone-faced gaze. "You... Are absolutely correct. We need to find Lucie, and we need to find out her motives. If she is a traitor, someone who just wants the family to fall apart, then we turn her in. Immediately, traitors disgust me. But on the other hand... If, somehow, Lucie doesn't want to do this, then we help her. Even if we are labelled as a Dark Guild, helping other members of the family takes precedence over everything. I suggest you find Lucie, like Kanix said, and see what she tells you." With that, Brennan sat back down, allowing for the next person to begin talking.

Then a mage Brennan didn't know too well, but had come to know as Hana, spoke up, voicing her own opinions of Lucie, but instead of beginning her opinion with saying what they should do to her, Hana explained what Lucie thought of them. She ended her speech saying Fairy Tail was better off legal. She had said that Lucie most likely didn't think of them the way they thought of her, they weren't family to her, not the way she was to them. Brennan stood up to begin talking, but once again, Kanix beat him to it. She said that dozens of other mages had killed innocents as well... But they took the stance of 'self-defense'. She then proceeded to ask Hana if Lucie could not rightfully claim the position of self-defense. After Kanix finished, Brennan nodded and proceeded to speak, "Hana, I agree with you. But I also agree with Kanix. This girl... Is only one of dozens of mages would has killed senselessly, several times... But she is one of the only ones who is being held accountable. If we end up turning her into the Rune Knights, then should we not turn in every other mage in our Guild who has ever killed someone?" He asked calmly, sitting down as the next person began to talk.

Kaylin began to speak next, stating that she agreed entirely agreed with Brennan, and that they should turn dark if they could not find Lucie in time to help her, and Brennan was happy that someone agreed with him... But Kanix had some harsh words for the poor girl. She talked about how she didn't want to go back to being a dark mage... And how being a dark guild would put them on the same territory as their mortal enemies, Basilisk Fang, and how that could never be a good thing. Brennan bit his lip and stood up, facing Kaylin. "While I do, to some extent, hold the same opinion as you... I am inclined to agree with my fellow Ace as well. Becoming a dark guild could never be good, perhaps it doesn't affect how we go about as a guild, but then we will have the Magic Council after us, and Basilisk Fang. While I truly do want to help Lucie, we need to find a way we can do so... Without turning into a Dark Guild. If that is at all possible... Do you understand?" He asked before sitting back down with a frown spreading across his face.

Sorano's approach was perhaps the most rational one so far, which made sense, seeing as she was one of the most rational people in the Guild. She suggested that they listen to Lucie's intentions before doing anything, after all, different kinds of killing could reveal very different types of mind sets. Kanix's response voiced all of Brennan's fears about what Sorano had said without him ever having to say it. What if she didn't talk? What if she couldn't talk. They couldn't just ignore her, but if they had no way of communicating... That could lead to quite a bit of trouble.  He stood up, "Sorano, that is a phenomenal idea, but I agree with Kanix as well. What if the girl won't talk to us? What if she can't talk to us, what do we do then?" He asked, slowly sitting back down... He was really getting tired of standing up and sitting back down.

Julius wanted to look for Lucie for the next four days, but if she didn't show up, then they should abandon her like she did to them... Which was perfectly reasonable, but also felt kind of... cold, to Brennan. Kanix, on the other hand, disagreed, and when Brennan heard her opinion voiced, he felt as though it made more rational sense... 4 days was too long to look for Lucie, and that it was best to just kick her out of the guild. "Julius... I'm afraid I'm going to have to agree with Kanix... For the most part. I feel as though 4 days is too long to look for the girl... If we can't find her soon, we need to officially kick her out of the Guild. On the other hand, if we find her and she cannot explain herself, then the same thing must be done. However, if we do find her, we must try out best to get her to explain. We must know why she did what she did." He hadn't even bothered to stand up this time, it was much too tiresome.

Suddenly, an annoying Imp popped out from under a table and stated that Lucie just needed to stop killing, then everything could be fine. Before Brennan even opened his mouth, Kanix voiced an explanation identical to the one he was about to give... So there was no really any need for him to give one. "Yeah, what she said." Brennan agreed with a nod and a grim frown. "Lucie, please come out from under the table," Interesting, so he wasn't the only one who had noticed. Brennan had sensed Lucie's magical power when she had come to listen to Kanix's speech, but he had kept it to himself, he didn't want a Guild full of rampaging drunks attacking her, but if Kanix had revealed her presence, it must be safe, Brennan trusted her. Kanix said she would never dare let anyone lay a hand on Lucie, and turning to the table where she hid, Brennan nodded, "That's right, Lucie, we'll protect you. We won't let any of the bullies hurt you." He smiled warmly and gestured for her to come out from under a table. Apparently, he and Kanix weren't the only ones trying to coax Lucie from under the table, soon after arriving, one of their guild mates who went by the name of Mura attempted to help as well. Apollo agreed that the girl would be safe, but then launched into explaining an elaborate scheme that they'd be able to use to protect Lucie.

It was amazing, and Brennan had expected nothing less from Apollo, so a huge grin spread across his face as soon as Apollo began to explain his plan. "Apollo, that plan is almost perfect..." Brennan began, standing up once again. "You said that if she is innocent we do this... If she isn't, then we need another plan. I say we go with what Kanix said... If Lucie truly did kill all of those people in cold blood, which I hope with all of my strength that she did not, well, then I'm afraid we will have to kick her out of the guild and hope for the best." He sighed grimly and sat back down for the zillionth time in just a few minutes. A plethora of people agreed with Apollo's plan, though with some bickering in between, but Brennan wasn't intervening, they could bicker all they wanted, he was getting tired. Well... He wasn't going to intervene until a Guild Member named Takumi said something that made him very uncomfortable. "What if... What if I went with her?" He asked, saying that he used to be a dark mage. Brennan jolted back up, finally beat Kanix to saying something for once. "Absolutely not, Takumi." He said, shaking his head, "You're new here, and Lucie is a Coming Storm. There will be people coming after her... With all due respect, if we are sending someone after the girl, we need someone who at least has a chance of fending off the Magic Council." He said sternly, sitting down just as abruptly as he had stood up.

"Umm, may I just point out I have a way of leading them astray? My pet is a shape-shifter, he could turn into lucie and act as a decoy. Also, if they do find us, I'll blind them with my sword and we could run." Takumi pulled his sword about an inch from the sheath, instantly causing it's enormously powerful glow to be seen. "I have nothing left to lose anyhow. My last blood family is gone now. I have nothing here. I don't even know who most of you are."

    Post by ivyleaf33 Wed 29 Jun 2016 - 10:47

    GRACE UNDER FIRE
Listening to her teammate Julius' thoughts, she pondered those as well. However, she would end up having to agree with Kanix on the fact that four days was simply too long. However, being less of a speaker and more of one of those who quietly pondered problems, she kept her mouth shut. Best to leave the speaking to bolder people like Kanix, Brennan, and Apollo. She could always speak up when there was something important to be said, which wasn't now. Now, that Imp came running up, and Sorano braced herself for a storm of questions and randomly blurted out comments. She wasn't disappointed. As the Imp let its feelings pour out of its beak, she sighed. Of course its arguments were full of holes, and very easily rebuked by the shamaness. However, he did have a point as Brennan did in how Fairy Tail was a family.

Then came Kanix's very valid point. What if? What if Lucie couldn't explain herself? Possession, influence, as well as natural disabilities could all be cause of this problem. Chewing on the inside of her lip, Sorano would take a while to think about it, looking around the room as she did so. Suddenly, that odd overlapping double aura caught her eye. Lucie! Her gaze focused in on the small figure huddled beneath the table, but she could tell some had already noticed her. Kanix would surely have had, as the shamaness easily noticed these things even without her sight. Speaking up, she began, "Well, for some types of disability, I may be able to help. My reading and writing speed would allow me to communicate messages between us very quickly if she is mute or deaf. If she is lying, I believe some of us here have to ability to perceive that, am I correct? I can also perceive this to some extent with my aural vision. If she is being held against her will, unless her very emotions are altered, I should be able to tell."

Sitting back down, Sorano fidgeted a little in her seat. She wondered if Lucie would move up to Kanix, or whether she would run? Once, Sorano would have complied with her request. Now, she was almost certain she would run in this situation. Mura went to help as well, being the nicer guy he was. Also one of those people who usually wasn't drunk, which was a good thing. Turning back to the front, she watched as Apollo went up, pulling up an Archive board. Explaining his idea, she had to frown a little. Simply possibly defying the council was enough... But lying and defying the council? That would only land them in deeper water if they were caught. "Well, if we were caught, Apollo-san, we would be in even deeper trouble for lying. At least, if we simply go dark, that would be it." It wasn't a very well explained thought, just a point she wanted to toss out there.

It appeared as though Hana agreed as well, something she appreciated from the dragon slayer. Then, Magnus came up to say his stuff. One of those rowdier mages of the guild, all up with the drinking and the drugs, had little of the letter mage's respect. However, it was rather nice how he just slammed it down on the table so bluntly. Most people paddled around subjects, including herself. Still, he didn't contribute much in the end, really just agreeing with Apollo. They already knew Lucie was guilty in one way or the other, anyway. Kaylin, too, was skeptical about the plan. It had many holes in it, but no one seemed to have too much of a better idea. Takumi's idea was very much against Fairy Tail's way of life, so she quickly slid that away as Brennan spoke again.

The flame mage went through everyone's input just as thoroughly as Kanix did, agreeing with the shamaness for the most part. What surprised her was how much he supported Apollo's plan. From what she could see, it was a little risky... "Are you sure putting her on Tenroujima Island will be alright? You are putting her on our most important land, who knows what she might do there if she is possessed or truly evil?"

Hearing Takumi speak up again, Sorano turned to him, a very serious expression on her face. "Takumi-san. I understand that you may want to help, and you may truly have nothing to live for. But you, we have nothing to hate about. When you joined, you became a part of the Fairy Tail family in the same way Lucie did, which is why we are not hurting her. Think about it! What would Julius do if you ended up being hurt? By the way, your pet may be able to shapeshift, but then we would be putting him or her in danger. I, and I'm sure many of us would not want to out all the danger on just one person. Also, harming the magic council's would truly mark us as enemies with almost no possible way of return to the legal side. Before, even if we are marked as dark, perhaps there was still some chance." Sorano would sit down again, hoping no one would try to do something as alarming as she personally found Takumi's idea.

I Would Rather Die Standing Than Live On My Knees! [Guild Meeting] Empty Re: I Would Rather Die Standing Than Live On My Knees! [Guild Meeting]

Post by Daniel Ross Wed 29 Jun 2016 - 12:56

Daniel sat in the back for the entire extent of the meeting so far. He was building up ideas and listening to the ones presented by the other members. He listened, and worked out some of the logic in Apollos plan and nodded at the sheer creativity and cunning in the plan. He waited and watched as several people looked at Lucie under the table and asked her to come out. As this all unfolded, he listened carefully before he attempted to speak. "Ahem." Daniel cleared his throat, stood up, pulled his hood off, and spoke in a clear voice.
"Lucie here is indeed a part of Fairy Tail, as we all are. And yes, we are a family. Family helps each other and in certain situations, does correct each other." He paused. "This issue is a matter of time. We need to find out evidence for AND against her, so that way it looks as if we're doing something. And Apollo's plan is good, and while he gives us the much needed time, we have to find out why Lucie did what she did, and if she in fact even did it at all. For all we know, she could be a victim of bad circumstance." Then he listened on when Takumi suggested he go with Lucie, and when some of the others disagreed, he said, "They have a point, Takumi. Even though you may think that it looks like you're trying to help here, the council could be lead to believe that you're collaborating with her." Then Daniel said, "And with the part about Tenrou Island... isn't there supposed to be something on that island? If there is, we might be able to use it to help Lucie. If that thing exists." He paused for a short time and listened on and said another thing, "If the time comes where the council comes to us and tries to get Lucie, and we don't have her, we might have to kick her out temporarily, and while Apollo executes his plan, we find out the real facts, and then we either let her back in, or, which I hope this is not the case, if she did do it, we'll have to turn her in."
Daniel sighed and said, "The way I see it, there are three outcomes. One, Lucie is guilty and we turn her in. The least favorable. Two, someone else set Lucie up. We turn the someone in. Three, Lucie and someone else are guilt and we turn all of them in. " He paused and said, "Also, we need an excuse for Lucie's actions. Such as, it is possible that Lucie has a second personality and has no idea what happens when it takes over. Because that could be a medical explanation, and we could use this to delay the council further, as an excuse, to find out what happened. Is that a good addition to what we have so far?"
Daniel was really going out on a limb, and didn't know if anything he had just said really helped or not.

I Would Rather Die Standing Than Live On My Knees! [Guild Meeting] Empty Re: I Would Rather Die Standing Than Live On My Knees! [Guild Meeting]

    Post by weretiger5411 Wed 29 Jun 2016 - 22:02

Zecarayus looked around at the other responses, he noticed some wanted his idea while others wanted to turn her in, and others were willing to let the guild go dark for lucie's sakes. Everyone was getting devoted into this and worked up over it, even though zecarayus did not know lucie, he was so picked up in the emotion that he wanted to help lucie out too! But then he heard what kanix said, and for a moment he was lost in thought. This is a child were talking about? he thought to himself. Then it made more sense to zecarayus. Often child mages could contain incredible amounts of power that, when not regulated, can easily massacre whole towns in a night. Now he could see why this came up. However, kanix's bit on illegal mages also made him stop and think.

"Once a mage starts killing, it is extremely hard for them to break that habit that has been ingrained into their head." he repeated the words in his head and it made him think. Does that make necromancers naturally evil then?, when a magic required death to grow, does it make the user evil by that then? He for a moment tuned out the rest of the conversation, about how lucie was in the room itself and only started listening when apollo spoke up again. Apollo came up with a plan of tricking the magic council by letting lucie lose mid way to the drop off point. Then he suggested that while they distracted the magic council they try to help lucie out elsewhere, and then once lucie was cured they would prove it somehow.

The plan while it sounded good, had many issues that others were quick to bring up. Zecarayus did though think on it, take lucie out of the way of the magic council and find a way to get rid of lucie's coming storm status. If anything the plan was more of a way to buy time while making sure the magic council did not declare fairy tail a illegal guild. Of course no one else was coming up with other plans and at this point the other option was to just banish her. Zecarayus thought about what everyone was saying, a lot of the plan to work in lucie's favor required other mages and time, which neither could get too much right now, not without fairy tail going dark. And then idea started in zecarayus's head, and it grew and grew more and more. Apollo's plan can work, it just needs to happen without faking it.

He would have then spoke up again to the crowd, "I believe apollo's plan can work, it can prevent fairy tail from going dark while trying to help lucie out. However I agree, involving more members in this matter will raise suspicions of the magic council. And I doubt if we try to actively help lucie while hiding her from the magic council then eventually we would get caught. So, what should happen is that we should banish lucie from the guild with others to go with her. The others will be with lucie and will find the reason behind her coming storm title. In the meanwhile the group and fairy tail will be cut off, no communication at all between them. This way fairy tail will be truthful when we say we don't know where lucie went. And because of this fairy tail cooperating with the magic council would show that fairy tail did not want the coming storm and would save the guild itself. As for those in banishment with lucy, they will find the motives behind lucie's actions and will be trusted to deal with her accordingly. After that, the group will come back and report what happened and hopefully that will be the end of the danger of fairy tail going dark." he would have finished proposing and looked down, for a moment their was doubt in his head, but he shook it away and raised his head to speak, "I understand this is a great danger to those involved, (sighs) now that I think on it those who would choose to leave with lucie may never return for the guild. But I will say now and I say this from experience, a child with magic is a very unstable being. And lucie is most likely a victim of a lack of knowledge of how to control her magic, so it's not surprising for me to hear that she may have caused many people pain and even...killed others. But the important thing is that we need more time to figure out the truth about this, and I think this is the best way to help lucie while saving the guild from darkness." He would have finished, then stopped and waited for other's opinions on this matter.

"Those who do not fear power, are too easily destroyed by it."

"Humans are the biggest monsters. How else can you explain a dragon's need to burn down their homes, a demon's need to slaughter them, or a god's attempt at brainwashing them to devote loyalty? It is because we have the greatest chance to destroy them with whatever else gets in our way, and slayers are not the only method how."-Zecarayus Trevelean

Note: Until I get this in his character sheet, his name is changed to nevarran. Same soul though!

Looking at the others, takumi sighed. "Did you even wonder why I offered to go with her? First of all, maybe I want them to think I'm working with lucie. Second, I can take care of my goddamn self. I was born in SPOOKY FOREST, people. Third, I merely want to protect a guildmate. Doing this could give me a purpose again. Doing this could stop me from destroying myself in some other way. Besides, his would give me a n excuse to fight my remaining sister, who killed our other sister and sent her head to me in a box." The ice mage looked at them with his sapphire eyes hard. He glowered at those who were trying to dissuade him. He had made up his mind. He wanted to help. "You will have to kill me in order to stop me from helping in some way."

it may sound absurd but don't be naive
even heroes have the right to bleed

"I don't need to wonder anything as long as I know you're going to get the hell beaten out of you if you go off on this," Ultra wasn't in the best of moods on this day, and this whole situation did nothing more than to piss him off even further. Not making things better was this one going off and saying that he could do something about it.

At this moment, Ultra's patience was at its end. "If neither you nor I could beat two dark mages, what in God's name makes you think you could take out an army alone?" he remembered the time he went in and fought some woman, only to have been forced into his Oblivion forme, and almost got his ass whupped by one of her comrades.

"What you're suggesting is bordering on suicide. If what Zecarayus is saying is right, we could be dealing with a massive problem on our hands. I frankly don't trust one person going with Lucie, considering she could go batshit at any moment, kill everyone involved. And once that happens, I'll repeat what I probably said before: There's nothing stopping her from hurting more people if that's the scenario."

It was at this moment that something snapped in Ultra: A crippling feeling of anxiety came over him, and he clutched his chin in pain as he began overtly breathing heavily. He had only experienced this feeling twice before in his entire life. He would try to walk, with a hand on the table, before falling to the floor in one abrupt motion.
